(Primary character) Name: Riluita Age: 7 months Gender: Female Race: Ferret. NORMAL, domestic ferret. With magical powers. Destiny-related, so... she knows that one day, within the month, she will get some mice. The problem is that she doesn't care about much that doesn't affect her own well-being. ^^;; Deck: Destiny Weapon: Claws, teeth. Description: European domestic ferret. Bio: She likes climbing through tunnels, which her owner makes for her out of toilet paper rolls and paper mache. She also likes to eat mice, which is an occasional treat. Normally she gets dry cat food, which she doesn't like too much, but her owner is the poor son of Russian immigrants, and can't afford to buy her anything else on a daily basis. (Minor, side character, semi-NPC) Name: Farias Riangelmar Age: 13 Gender: Male Race: Human Deck: None. He is blissfully normal and uninvolved with the circumstances surrounding his ferret. Weapon: A Webster's Unabriged Dictionary, seventh edition, which he can barely carry. Fortunately, it lives in the bookstore's display window, which is easy to get to. Actually, he's going to gain the dictionary as a weapon in post. ^^; Description: Straight, dark brown hair in a short... normal boy-cut. The stage before crew cut. A long crew cut. What you would get if you grew out a crew cut. Light green-blue eyes, non-hanging earlobes. He can roll his tongue. The bit of skin between his thumb and pointer on his left hand is mostly scar tissue, resulting from a bite from his previous ferret, who died a year ago. He has European facial features, like... thin lips, fairly low cheekbones, round eyes, nose bigger than he would like. He normally wears suspenders, which is... quite odd. o.o; Bio: He has a ferret. He's poor. He's Russian. He's creative. He works in a used bookstore. Farias is the only child of two Russian immigrants. He's very creative, making his own habitats for his ferret. He somehow manages to keep working and get good grades, although how he does this, I don't know. He has a reputation of being the slightly eccentric teacher's pet, who isn't really picked on, but isn't accepted, either. He's just... there. Really. He's just held... in awe. So multitalented... does he have a clone in order to get it all done? No... he's just smart. o.o;; I'll add a bit more about him when I get home... ^^;; And now I'm home, but I still need to flesh out his bio and proofread. ^^;; And-- hopefully the last edit. ^^; Unless something's wrong, or you need clarification. And... if you're wondering... I actually spent more time on the ferret than Farias. o.o;

"Excuse me?" I called out. I rang a little bell, its high-pitched voice cutting through the din of the crowd. "Excuse me?" Satisfied that enough faces were looking my way, I held the items I was peddling today up. A map, an empty jar, a beach ball. Items worthless to me that cost me nothing; items useful to others that cost them money. "Hey mister, what's on that map?" someone yelled. I shrugged. "I bet it's not really worth anything!" another cried. "Suit yourself," I muttered. "Come up if you're interested!" Again, I rang my bell. Not surprisingly, the two doubters were among the ones who came to my (badly-made) table to look at my wares. I unrolled the map for them, and one of them stuck his face an inch away from the map. I moved it back an inch. "Hey!" he yelped. "I'm nearsighted!" He grabbed the map, trying to pull it closer to his face. I cringed, hearing the sound of ripping paper. A very bewildered young man stared at a piece of my map. "I'm very sorry, mister," he said, sweatdropping. "I didn't know paper here could actually rip." He looked at me, turned, and ran. I looked in the direction he had gone. Shrugged. Pocketed my half of the map. Rang my bell. It's not like I paid anything for it. I didn't even look for it. I just find things everywhere. So, what did I care?

I am horrible at actually following through and posting enough, but I hope you'll let me join. I hope... ^^;;;;;;;;;;;; Name- Saden age- 17 gender- male type- Twin blade level- 42 bio- A happy, easygoing guy. His reason for playing The World isn't escapist, believe it or not. He got into it because his life as it was bored him. He's never joined a party, nor does he go out adventuring. He goes to wander around. He's the type of person who'd happily watch a sunset, even though it was pixelated and and the same thing every time. He uses The World as a tool to go places he normally wouldn't. His goal is to explore, not to fight monsters and socialize. Appearance: Straight light brown hair, cropped short to the tops of his ears, with a large piece perpetually in his eyes, which are a dark foresty green. He wears a grey tunic with plain black leggings, belted with a white braided rope.

It's the same thing. ^^;; .hack//DUSK is a nickname, coming from the Japanese word for twilight, which can also mean dusk. The title to both the anime and the manga is the same, but it's insanely long to say in normal conversation (or rather, type. ;)) ^^;;;;;;

They did. :D I think Bandai has the rights to it; I'm not sure about the release date. ^^; I feel so out of touch. ;)

There are two and only two things I dislike about it. Number one, I absolutely loathe the word 'Grunty.' ;) That's my personal opinion. Two, the title leaves out 'bracelet.' o.o; I don't know why... oh well. ^^;; I can't say I dislike it. It's certianly not my favorite ever, but it's so cute. It makes me feel happy. It's not the same thing I felt for .hack//SIGN, no, of course not. It's shoujo, and I can only deal with shoujo at certian times of the day. Sometimes I did put the book down, but now I've read it, I keep looking back at it. ^^ I nicknamed a friend of a friend Reki when I was hyper off it, and it's actually stuck. o.o;

I stood up, narrowing my eyes at the bully. Matt, was it? I vaguely remembered him from school. I think he way have been in my class, but who cares? I don't think I liked him anyway. "Perhaps you've forgotten why nobody talks to me anymore," I said quietly. His head turned to face me, lying on the pavement and bruised, but still alive. "Talk about me like that and you die." I let the threat hang in the air for a minute. And he laughed! The boys behind him echoed it, the kind of stupid laughter bullies laugh when they don't believe they're being threatened. I hated it. The idiot was on the ground, and he was laughing! He really was a monkey. I stuck my hand into my right sock and felt around until I felt a hard metal hilt. I grasped it, pulling out my dagger sheath-first. I tugged the sheath away with my other hand, exposing the curved, silver metal of the blade. I grinned. "If you're not beaten enough, I'd like my own turn."

There's always Amazon.com Marketplace, or Ebay, or whatnot. I personally buy CDs from CDJapan, but it's expensive. I prefer knowing that it is not bootleg, because... I like to buy official CDs. I have expensive morals, which is why I'm always broke. ;) If you only want a particular song, you're not looking hard enough. There are lots of people out there who'd be glad to help you out.

"Liminality" is, "the transitional period or phase of a rite of passage, during which the participant lacks social status or rank, remains anonymous, shows obedience and humility, and follows prescribed forms of conduct, dress, etc." (from infoplease.com.) The problem is, that's hard for me to get my head around, because in the song, liminality seems to be desirable, so my thought is that it refers to "liminal" which is defined as pertaining to (your?) threshold. Of what, then? I don't know, but I rather like the image of pushing against what you can normally handle. :D! I love the music... I bought all the soundtracks. o.o;; It's actually through listening to the music that I became obsessed with .hack//SIGN. My favorite song would have to be The World (extra ver.) although that doesn't mean I don't like any of the others. Quite the opposite, really. I listen to the CDs before and while I'm asleep, so it can seep into my unconscious brain. ;)

I sat by the side of the road, fiddling idly with the zipper on my raincoat. It had since stopped raining, but I still wore it, big, yellow, and floppy. I hummed a short, happy tune; a Christmas carol which I knew neither the words nor the title to. I liked the rain, even if I disliked getting wet. The raincoat had done its job well, however strange it looked. I was hardly damp, and my bag fit nicely underneath as well. I made no move to rise, although I knew very well that there was a meeting today. I had been told, I had been told again, I remembered, it was obvious. As close as I was to Selenay's house, I could hear voices clearly, voices I knew. I had been sitting on this ledge for a few minutes, having no reason to stay at school any longer than I must, and remembering (and being told twice, like I couldn't remember these things for longer than two minutes) that there was a meeting, I had headed here, faster than Selenay and her friend-- Dango, I figured, judging from the clearly male voice I heard and hearing her speak too casually than she would for the majority of the male population. I couldn't really distinguish the words, unfotunately, but I didn't dare walk up the road. If they wanted me, they'd call me, unless they actually thought I forgot. Nobody seemed to believe that I actually paid attention when it was important. ((^^; Sorry... I tend to write in first person... I'll change if that's a problem...))

Name- Euri Age- 16 Gender- Sign- Aquarius (?) Weapon- Dagger Abilities- As Aquarius, she can... control the direction the wind blows. Woo... and she can memorize stuff easily... wind IS the messenger. Features- Red hair, shoulder length. Freckles in a thin band across the bridge of her nose, which is fairly small, even in comparison to her face. Blue-grey eyes. Persona- Quiet, day dreamer, vengeful, and quirky. Basically, quiet weird girl who will kill you if you do anything offensive. ANYTHING. Bio- She has a reputation of literally living in the principal's office for threatening the lives of quite a few students and bringing a weapon to school. Her dagger. :-D Nobody talks to her anymore... aww. So she's an (alone) quiet daydreamer with a knife. She rather likes it that way. This ish my first post. ... I hope it makes sense. And I'm sorry about the yeps. ^^;; I do that sometimes.
