Euro Chaos deck. Light to Dark ratio is at 6:8. Based loosely on Clown Control; neither Chaos monster is really inhibited by the use of G-Bind or MoP. If worst comes to worst, Dragon's going to blow itself up anyway, and Soldier can still use its removal effect. Note that this conforms to the Euro restricted list as it was when it was last updated, with a few adjustments for inevitable IOC restrictions (CED, BLS). That means a number of crazy things, like being able to have 2x Witch and Sangan. Tribute/Special Summon Monsters (3) 1x Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End 1x Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning 1x Jinzo Non-Tribute Monsters (15) 3x White Magical Hat 2x Shining Angel 2x Dream Clown 2x Crass Clown 2x Witch of the Black Forest 2x Sangan 1x Cyber Jar 1x Magician of Faith Magic (14) 3x Mystical Space Typhoon 2x Heavy Storm 2x Messenger of Peace 1x Pot of Greed 1x Raigeki 1x Dark Hole 1x Monster Reborn 1x Premature Burial 1x Painful Choice 1x Snatch Steal Traps (8) 3x Gravity Bind 2x Waboku 1x Imperial Order 1x Mirror Force 1x Call Of The Haunted Side-deck 3x Mystic Tomato 2x Drillago 2x D.D. Why does everyone think these changes won't affect the English game that quickly? At the rate UD's releasing card, the English game will probably have caught up with the Japanese game by the time of the World Tournament in Summer...which means these changes will be enforced in the English game very soon. The sooner the better, in fact; it means Control decks will be crippled, and we can perhaps see a bit more originality in tournament decks. Even in Japan, Disruption is dominating...so it makes sense to weaken them this way, since releasing anti-Disruption hasn't worked so far. And it's not as if it's impossible to find alteratives to run in place of these cards. In fact, this frees up deck space and allows people to be more creative. The spaces these cards would've taken up almost by default are now open to new cards. If it does change every 6 months, even better; the metagame will be slower to stagnate. It won't cause the game to die, because so many players have been wanting this kind of change to stop the game getting tedious. I'm getting myself a folder as a result, so my Yata and Cyber Jar can retire in style, watch the bowls and remember the good old days. :D

Well, there are 2 movies in the works...the "movie" that exists currently is actually generally termed the "Shounen Jump Episode", as it takes more after the manga the the series. You can tell by the cards and art, really. Anyway, the other 2. One, unfortunately, is live action...the other is being made by TV Tokyo, and hasn't been released as of yet. Not much has been confirmed about either; cast lists for the live action have all been guesses- particularly what fans are dreading- and the TV Tokyo one we probably won't hear about for a little while yet. Fortuantely, there's said to be promos being given out during the first week or so of the showing of whichever one arrives first (which, I hope, will be TV Tokyo's)...hopefully good ones.

Both of my brothers play, and a fair amount of my friends as well. I've been to a number of unofficial tournaments run by Cardshows, and duelled a variety of people, ranging from a middle-aged man (who never showed up again after facing my old Clown Control) and a 7 year old who managed to whip my friend a number of times (who I only just beat- this kid was scary).
-
A tournament sounds like a good idea, if it's approved of. I'd quite like to see the outcome, so count me in... Plus my record could always use some updating...not duelled anyone here in a while.

Your trap count is a little too high. Having over 7 in anything but a Odion/Rishid fan deck or all trap deck is a bad idea. How do you plan on summoning Paladin without Fusion or Fusion gate? You're also missing staples...a lot of them. You'll need to change a lot of things in your deck. You have no M/T removal, no recursion, no drawing power...basic idea of what it should look like: Magic [18]: 3x Cyclone 2x Proof of Dragon Destruction 2x Fusion 2x Fusion Gate 1x Tempest 1x Harpie's Feather Sweep 1x Raise Dead 1x Jar of Greed 1x Black Hole 1x Thunderbolt 1x Change of Heart 1x Early Burial 1x Theft Insofar as the monster section goes, take out Baby Dragon for Troop Dragon- deck thinning, in addition to the Graveyard boost- the Amazon and Sea Dragons for another 2 SBM, Breaker and Dimensional Warrior Girl. Gazetto can go for Exclusivity Virus. Traps, you'll probably have to change them completely too. Call of the Haunted, Emissary of Harmony, Mirror Force, Ring of Destruction, Imperial Order...not hard to get in Japanese. It's a nice start, but does need some serious work...

Anime New Yugi and Kaiba Evolution Starter Decks + Marik Structure
Kakashi replied to Posthumous's topic in Otaku Central
Both poctures are probably fake, although of the two, the first one posted is more likely to be real. The Structures only use art from the manga...Toywiz is bad for throwing together anime images to create placeholder images until an actual picture of a new structure is released. You can see "Volume 2" written on both of them, though... Anyway, unless the Evo decks have staples I sorely need in English (Mirror Force and Breaker, for example), I'll give them a miss. Chaos monsters will have a far bigger impact on the game, so it's better to get them first... -
It's not just "your" standby phases- it's every standby phase. Basically, Infernalqueen has a messed up translation. The boost should only last until the end of the turn (though it is still activated every standby phase). But, until it's errata'd- like Bazoo, Kycoo, Skull Lair and Spell Shield before it- you're better playing by the wording on the card.

YVD fun with Archfiends. It did pretty well in its test matches... Tribute Monsters 2x Great Maju Gazett 1x Skull Archfiend of Lightning Total: 3 Non-Tribute Monsters 3x Shadowknight Archfiend 3x Infernalqueen Archfiend 3x Archfiend Soldier 2x Terrorking Archfiend 1x Cyber Jar 1x Breaker The Magical Warrior 1x Witch of the Black Forest 1x Tribe-Infecting Virus Total: 15 Spells 3x Pandemonium 3x Mystical Space Typhoon 2x Terraforming 1x Pot of Greed 1x Graceful Charity 1x Raigeki 1x Dark Hole 1x Change of Heart 1x Harpie's Feather Duster 1x Heavy Storm 1x Monster Reborn 1x Premature Burial 1x Snatch Steal Total: 18 Traps 2x Waboku 1x Mirror Force 1x Imperial Order 1x Ring of Destruction 1x Call Of The Haunted Total: 6 Overall deck total is 42. More or less follows the same structure I had for Gravekeepers... Queen gets ditched when she's errata'd. Garzett I think suits this deck perfectly, since it can become a pretty nasty monster very easily. One may be dropped for Jinzo, though...

Your deck is all over the place... First of, Paladin must be theme for you to run it. It's slow irregardless of what you do, and with very little support for it in this deck, it is pretty much dead weight. If you do decide to run it as theme, focus it on either Buster Blader or Dark Magician and get support for your choice, using Fusion substitutes instead of the other material monster. 10 traps is overdoing it. I wouldn't go over 6, 7 at most, given the popularity of Jinzo...it has, in addition to the high monster count, has caused your magic section to suffer. You have almost no M/T removal- Heavy Storm on its own doesn't really cut it. So lower both counts a little to make room for more magic, and try to ensure it's viable- Soul Exchange and Mystic Plasma Zone, for example, certainly aren't (in a competitive environment at least). The dominant type of monster in the current environment is Dark- there aren't many decks that it'll hurt rather than help. Think about it- quite a few of the "monster staples"- Jinzo, Breaker, and so on- are Dark. Soul Exchange...the drawback makes it unplayable.

Tribe-Infecting Virus can only have its effect activated by its owner during their main phase 1 or 2. It's not a multi-trigger effect. If worst comes to worst, show them the new article at Edo's.

1. Anything treated as a Magic or Trap card moves to the M/T zone. Like how Relinquished's equips do. 2. Only 2. The whole "3 tributes for level 10" thing is a misconception caused by the God cards. 3. Current one. For example, my X-Head Cannon equipped with an Axe of Despair is at 2800; I flip Limiter Removal, it becomes 5600.

As a point, a number of these effects could do with revision. A lot are extremely overpowered. I've seen this else, also...it seems you registered at a lot of boards in order to circulate these rulings. Do you have any idea how unfair it would be if my Gravekeepers had a permanent Necrovalley? Sure, I lose one of my tribute monsters, but being able to mess up recursion and gain an idefininate boost for my Gravekeepers wouldn't be fair to the other player. And not enough of the effects have drawbacks. Freed gives an additional 1000 to warriors for nothing. Vampire Lord gives Zombies the ability to kill decks even easier than he did when he was unrestricted. Invader of the Throne is far too broken. I could buy a lot of common Japanese Snatch Steals and abuse them to the point where things just weren't funny anymore. Please try less effects and more balance...if you don't, you're more likely to take fun from duelling than add more to it.
