I can honestly say that I have never had low self esteem. I've always been a moderate optimist, and anyone that makes fun of me gets labeled as insecure and I laugh out loud in their presence on how rediculous they act. No one has ever had the power to put me down. If they say I'm fat, I just realize that I can't get anything past them. Make every insult funny, and you'll be happy for the rest of your life.

I see absolutely no point in modding my body. A tattoo is just, for lack of a better word, stupid. I like different pictures, but putting them on my body is rediculous. Can you not live without seeing a picture every single minute? I have a nice printer, and I can carry that awesome dragon pic I found online in my pocket for about a cent. I don't see a point in crazy piercings either. I'll never get one, but I like them on girls. Ears only. I know a girl that has a metal stud in her eyebrow and it looks horrible. The skin is stretched and red. As for other modding, I won't do any of it, but there are certain things that, as a guy, I wouldn't mind a girl modding. As long as it doesn't look stupid(like this one girl with, erm, basketball-size). That is rediculous and unattractive.

In early February, a 17-year-old from a neighboring school was badly injured in a single car accident and was put on life support for four days before his parents ordered his feeding pipe removed. He starved to death over 22 hours. I didn't know him personally, but one of my friends was really shaken up about it. I think it is necessary to eventually take the life support off, but you need to wait a little bit. Comas last more than four days, and should be waited out. At least the family an friends have a little hope.
Big signs like you mensioned, do nothing but create more tension. if i see a big sign saying something like "vote labour for the way forward: tony blair means a better tomorrow" it doesn't amke me stop and think "hey, maybe i should vote tony blair", it just pisses me off. Most of the people i've spoken to on this subject all basically say the same thing. something along the lines of "WWhenever i see an extreme left-wing sign or political editorial, it just pusshes me more and more extreme right wing". in conclusion i'll say that the opposite of what everyone else is doing seems to have a power over people's minds.
I hope that you aren't from england. I live in the States and still know that anyone wanting to vote for Tony Blair will be laughed out of the building. He heads the party in control, so he is prime minister. Back on topic, that site is actually funny. I'll link it to my own site when it launches.

What do you look for in a guy/girl?
Morpheus replied to Farto the Magic's topic in General Discussion
What I look for in a girl is how nice and how smart she is. Also patient, humorous, and understanding. But I don't think that I would ever find a girl with these characteristics. For some reason most of the girls that I ever met treated me like crap. I don't know why but they all seemed to hate me. I haven't done anything to them. I remember when I wrote a poem (boy, was I stupid) to a girl named brenda. When I gave it to her, she just turned it into a paperball and threw it at my face. My heart sank low. She also used to talk crap behind my back. One time I was with my cousin and somebody knocked at her door. She thought it was me so she came and kicked my ***. Of course I can never hit a girl so just I took it. Another girl named azelia used to humiliate me in front of everyone. I never understood why was I treated like that. Maybe I deserved it. I guess some of us are not meant to be in a relationship. But, why is it that everytime that I try to talk to a girl they just keep ignoring me?
Do you try to hit on them? That's a big no-no. Just meet them and say hi. Let them do the talking, and you can't really mess up. You might become friends. -
Yeah, I know... I didn't want to color the conversation with specifics, because then everyone would begin arguing over the specific merits or pointlessness of certain laws, as I see a little bit of that going on already. You want examples, though? Um... anti-skateboarding laws... and the law that claims that perpetually abused women are guilty of first-degree murder when they kill their abusers in self-defense (under the presumption that she must have planned to kill him the next time that he began beating her/raping her, etc... because there was an established pattern of abuse). There... a few examples of laws I don't agree with- the first one being one that I frequently break with a clear conscience, and the second one that I've been fighting to change for the last decade.
While the second one is absurd, the first one has a very simple explanation behind it: Skateboarders have a tendency to run into people. A lot. The businesses in the area don't want their customers being trampled, so they pass the law.

Ben Stiller- I liked him a lot in meet the parents, but expected little from Zoolander. Male models seemed so stupid. Then I watched and was in awe. I still think it is his best performance.

I personally dislike tattoos. I agree with the fact that a few small ones are fine, but a large one is just stupid. What is the point of that? Having a dragon on my back doesn't really do anything. Plus, it costs a lot of money that could be better spent. I like art on paper. Not on your body.
[b']OK- but if the woman was extraordinarily beautiful (in your personal opinion) would a tattoo make her ugly?
Depends. If she has a small butterfly, no. Anything large wouldn't make her ugly unless it's in plain sight. I don't want to make out with a hot girl with pictures all over her. It's like getting a bunch of pop-ups when you are really into something online. It crashes my computer.

-I'm the only person that can find something in my room -I can hold Zero secrets for anyone but me. -I always argue and win and make people mad I'll add to it later...
-
I'll do this quick: -As Shinmaru said, when people diss Nintendo. -When people do things "'Cause it's the cool thing". -When my Biology teacher reminds us of her sperm fetish. -When people think that they are better than me. -When someone tries to diss someone's dreams. AND ABOVE ALL- When, for some odd reason, people ignore others.
-
Look for emulators. While I personally don't use them, you can bypass the law by using a system that makes absolutely no money anymore. Also, Dragon Warrior 8 comes out this year. It took a long time, but it's looking good. All Hail Enix!!! All Hail Enix!!!

Since using software to edit my pictures is beyond me, can someone please put this text into this pic? All text is on level with Sub-Zero's(he's in blue) chest. Before chest(made to fit space. Only as big as his shoulders to his waist): Picture Caption After chest: Game

I'd want shapshifting, so that I can turn into any of these super heroes and use their powers.
Manhunt was also banned here in the UK. Apparently, some kid killed his schoolmate by bashing him one on the head with a hammer, and told the officials that Manhunt had influenced him, thus causing the ban. Banning a game due to directly one person's actions is a bit extreme, I think, but from another perspective, it shows that the government is doing what they can in order to prevent anything like so happening again. Heh, if they're going to ban Manhunt, however, they may as well ban every other violent game, because it's more than just the title name that does the damage.
I read that story, and the assailant said that he wanted drug money. That's it. They blamed manhunt when they found a copy in the VICTIMS HOUSE. How in the world did they come up with that kind of logic?

Banning all games with violence isn't just stupid, it's impossible. Someone could find or make thousands of violent games and simply burn them to CD or DVD. How in the hell do they think they will stop that? Also, we have a senator like that here in America, too. His name is Joe Lieberman, and he is the direct root of these problems. He is the one that freaked out when Mortal Kombat came out. He is the reason we have ratings, which makes him partially responsible for the problems with the ratings. He scared a lot of people so much that they became idiot activists, causing all sorts of problems. In short, he is full of *******. P.S. He also blamed Marylin Manson for Columbine. Here is my lasting tribute to Connecticut Senator Joseph Lieberman
Even if it were an option on here, I'd imagine it would be completely optional
I'd hope so. I hate it when my options become necessities. I think it would be a good idea to put the symbol at the end of the sig. It would be simple enough, though, to just make them smilies. That would solve this.

I've always seen the flaws in our lockdown system: -It's not like the administrators can just prance the halls during a shooting. -We use lists of students names put under the door. What's stopping the gunman from reading the lists? -What's really stopping the gunman from shooting the lock or beating down the door? It's not like hiding will help. -They never tell us about BREAKING THE WINDOWS to get out. The system is so flawed, it's scary.

I like group projects, mostly because my teachers will let me choose partners. I guess they have realized that people work better when they know who they are working with. I'll choose a few friends and we get the project done early and "work" a few more hours. It gets to be a lot of fun. I can't think of a bad experience working in groups. If someone won't pull their weight then I'll usually make them do the parts I don't like as much. Such as construction. I really enjoy groups in Spanish. It's always the same people, and we always come in last place. It's so hilarious! But we tell everyone that we are like the Cleveland Cavaliers: We suck for years and then we get Labron James.
I don't really have much to say concerning mary jane and the legalization/banishment of it. I'm only here to quickly reply to Chabichou's post. No. Sorry. America's not going to ever ban tobacco. It's too lucrative a business to just cut off the cash from the the Marlboro man and expect him to stay silent. Also, people who are addicted to it already will come and burn down your house if you're trying to ban the stuff. People love their nicotine, and will go to great lengths to make sure they have it. Yes, there is no really good reason to have mary j or cigarettes legal, except for the fact that we live in America. I don't know about you, but I'd be angry if the government all of the sudden told me I couldn't do X and Y. Really, the government should be dictating people's lives, and it pains me to say it, but smoking falls under that banner. Yes, we're breathing in second-hand toxic smoke. What're you going to do about it? All you really can do is stay away from the smokers... and while this is annoying, it's their right. If you're so concerned about protecting the environment from cigarette smoke, drive and electric/hybrid car and plant trees or whatever. Honestly, cars pollute way more than a joint/cigarette. Like I said above, it isn't really fair to people who don't smoke, but I can't take away their right to blacken their lungs and help out the economy by wasting thousands on death sticks a year. Sorry. =[
Actually, there is a $600 million or so lawsuit that threatens to wipe out tobacco in the works. The charge: Intent to harm.

I agree with the majority of gamers in saying that the best console FPS is Goldeneye. Not to contradict, but I can think of half a dozen other FPSs that are better than Halo. Halo is a great game, but I can't see playing ANY game every single day. Or even every other day. I would eventually get burnt out. I played SM64 for 2 months and didn't come back for 6. I guess what I'm trying to say is Halo is fun, but only to a certain extent.
I liked his early stuff, but "Titanic" made me want to go out an eat garbage.
Come on, that movie had me on the edge of my seat. I kept thinking, "What is going to happen to that boat?" It really was the pinnacle of the theater. It really was a good movie, actually. It show everything as it happened, and included a large assortment of actual people from the ship. Also, people that didn't know the story had a blast with it(both of them). I agree with panda. Live action movies get fans excited at first, then you get a stream of doubts. Going from cartoon to live action is difficult, especially for japanese media. Anime and Manga tend to be harder because of big eyes, weird hair, etc.

The easiest way to get there is change the internal clock of the ps2 to 2:54 am. You go to Boldan, and go on the linear path until you get to a fork. Go left and defeat the enemies. Stand on top of the first fountain on the teleporter pad and wait until you see "Go to insomniac museum" You will fight some enemies (bouncer and sheild recomended). Then go to the next teleporter. You've made it!

The best easter egg is the Insomniac Museum from Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando. You get to go to a alrge room designed after insomniac's building and see stuff that didn't make it too the game. There are 3 vehicles to ride in, enemies to see, a punching bag, the test environment from the first game, a screen that shows a large video of your own, mini planets, voice overs by the staff, customizable blaster shots and explosions, and all sorts of weird things. I'd say it was worth the $40 just to play that, let alone the great game.
