1. This is hilarious. I especially like the second last frame. 'Zora Food?' Laughed my *** off. Keep goin' man. ~CrH~
2. My favourite Final Fantasy Character is Cloud. I mean, c'mon, who else carries a sword that big? Apart from... Sephiroth and... Steiner... and. SHUT UP. Apart from that he has some of the coolest Limit Breaks in that game and a thoroughly enjoyable back-story. Second? Aeris. I have no idea why, I just prefer her over any of the other Final Fantasy heroines. Maybe its because she's really sweet, or I spent way too much time with her when I was stuck early on in the game. Either way, she rocks, and I don't care what anyone says about her being whiny and annoying. ;)
3. When I turned 13 I didn't notice anything remarkably different. Its not like I had a remarkable personality change or anything like in a Kevin and Perry skit I once saw (hilarious). Its like Godel said, you don't notice any difference. Over time your personality may change, but that's to be expected, its called growing up. Unruly teenage hormones usually have a hand in that too, but don't expect it to happen overnight. If your friends are acting all dark or like control freaks... then its just naunces of their personality you probably didn't notice before, because you weren't so self conscious about being younger then them. Or its to do with outside influences like family situations, something you probably don't hear much about. Whatever. I need sleep. ~CrH~
4. Ooh, interesting thread concept. But after looking at my list I'm sure you'll agree my musical taste is a shattered mirror. :p Only the Top Three are concrete by the way, otherwise my faves tend to changeabout as regularly as the tides. 5. REM: REM roxor my world. More for one song (which, incidenatlly, was instrumental in my upbringing) than anything, though their whole catalogue can be described as 'awesome'. I especially love The Great Beyond and Orange Crush. I only own one of their alums though, that album being the Best of In time but I actively search for more. 4. The Doors: *cough* Really, I can't help it if I'm retro. I grew up listening to The Doors, and me earliest memory is of hearing the song Riders on the Storm (fantastic song that). The End is good too as well as a plethora of others I can't be particularly bothered to name (damn you laziness!). I own none of their albums but regularly 'borrow' my Dad's copy of LA Woman. ;) 3. Red Hot Chili Peppers The Red Hot Chili Peppers (RHCP) are unlike any band I have ever listened to, their fantastic riffs and melodic songs carrying me away to happy places that I am not willing to divulge information about to the likes of you. They awesome-ossity of their songs is so great that they don't have to make sense lyrics-wise, they just rock because they exist. Stolen straight from my site, heh. 2. Hilltop Hoods They rock my mother-******* world. Their beats are highly contagious, and, accompanied by the lyrics of uber-awesome MCs Suffa and Presha they create a highly volatile mix of funk that, if not handled correctly, can leave you humming their tunes and rapping to their beats for days (nay, months) after. Unfortunately I only own one of their albums (the latest) so I don't know if they have matured with age or what... but I DO know they kick major *** and should anyone question this I'll smite them to hell. And it has the best recorded freestyling I've ever heard. That too, taken from my website. 1. KoRn I would be nowhere without KoRn. They rock so hard (for me at least) that without them I would be sad and alone. I have four of their six albums and am 'negotiating' (read: sweet-talking)with my Mum into getting me the remaining two. My fave songs would have to be Blind, Balltongue and Its On, and find them to be the best music to accompany a late-night net session. And yeah. ~CrH~
5. We needses more before we can properly judge hte comic aspects of ze piece, though it looks like it shaping up pretty good. As for actual graphics... the red text on grey doesn't work whichever way you put it man. :p Its hard to read. ~CrH~
6. This is awesome solo. Pissed myself laughing, I did (not literally of course). It reminds me a lot of British Comedy ~CrH~
7. George Dubbya Bush and John Howard. Both are as bad as each other. George rushes off into a war and lLittle Johnny chases after him. But as for REAL celebrities go, or psuedo-celebrities at least, I would have to name anyone that goes on a reality TV show like Big Brother and expects to not have their dirty little secrets revealed. These people go on there for the 'experience' (read: W00t! I'm on TV!) and don't expect anyone to find out anything about them or there past etc. etc. Honestly, you have to question the intelligene of the people who go on the shows to begin with... ~CrH~
8. Ha. Its true. I don't think its that big of an issue though. Probably just a small glitch in the system. ~CrH~
9.
Personally, I think Jet is one of the most derivitive rock bands around right now. That's just my opinion and I doubt most people agree with me considering Jet's success. In terms of Australian artists, I'd rather listen to the infinitely more talented/important Nick Cave or You Am I. They've been around a decent amount of time by comparison, though.
The fact that Semjaza likes Nick Cave is just awesome... *ahem* Yes, Jet. Really, they're not much to boast about. As my friend Brenton puts it, they're riding the 'rock revival'. On top of that they sound just a bit to similar to The Rolling Stone's to me. I saw them at Big Day Out this year, and I have to give them this, they know how to put on a show. They worked the crowd like pros (and actually stopped singing at one point so the crowd could do it for them 0-0). ~CrH~
10. It's sad, because these girls think that what their parents are doing to them 'for them' is normal, and people who don't are the weird ones. Oh and I thought this was about paedophilia when I saw the topic title too, heh. My overall view of this, is the same on parents pushing their children in sporting events. They are pushing their children to accomplish goals that they failed in their child-hood. You see these girls on TV, and they are either one of two things: 1. Deluded or 2. Miserable The deluded ones think that what they are doing is normal. The miserable ones just don't want to be there. But both mindets are the result of their parent's pushing. Christ, if a parent isn't content with their child-hood and how it turned out, they should stay that way, not attempt to feel some fleeting glory living through their children. It not only demeans the children, but themselves as well. ~CrH~
11. I have Avril Lavigne and Eiffel 65 in my collection... *hides* I think Eiffel 65 was the first album I ever bought, where as Avril Lavigne was a side-effect of clinical depression. It had to be. I also have a few regrettable 'rap' CDs I'd rather not mention in my collection, but mainly its all Grade A CrH Music. ~CrH~
12. Gavynn has been busy! :o this is the shiznit. And the random colour/quality/character design change made it teh funniest. Tis uber-awesome. ~CrH~
13. That is awesomeness. Total uber awesomenes. Of course, awesomeness like that demands more awesomeness so you should make a new epidose post-haste. Oh and great poster. Especially that 'Special Appearances by CrH' bit. Otherwise its slightly disturbing. :p ~CrH~
14. *wonders what has become of the world* I'm not a jerk (usually), but this just looked like a rant to me. Sorry if I damaged anyone's fragile ego. Honestly, you're making more fuss about this then the author did... Looking at it from a story POV though, I can see how it could be funny, even though it feels a tad rushed. Oh, and Shippou, I don't need your pity. Pity is for the weak. ;) ~CrH~
15. Why be bitter of not knowing algebra? I enjoy algebra lol. The fact that you'd write a story like this about it only proves your own immaturity.Algebra is hard. Woopee. So is life. Get over it and try studying if you have difficulty with it. ~CrH~
16. If you want to keep the Vampire Chronicles theme going I would suggest either Mekare or Maharet.. or even Merrick. But really, the choice is up to you. Pets are a very individual things, and naming them even more so. And at the end of the day, its your choice. ~CrH~
17.
Street Sharks...so close to being a rip off of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. At the least, TMNT had more comedy and action. And, at that, it still does. I never even understood how Street Sharks came to be! I mean, was in a gamma ray? Neutron blast? Something?!? I didn't even get the damn story line. And then "The Hook" (Whatever his name is) What the hell is up with him? A rotating head? Cybernetic body? A hook? I'm sorry but there's a fine line for me when it comes to idiotic looking bad guys...he tops the charts.
They were the product of a scientist's expiremnts. Basically, the scientist mutated their father so he could steal his discovery (or something) and when they came to investigate he figured make them social outcasts so it wouldn't get out. But it kinda backfired and he was crossed with a pirahna in the process... ~CrH~
18. My favourite co-op game I remember playing is Final Fantasy 9. I don't know if anyone ever attempted this, but you could set certain characters to Controller 2, thus letting a friend control people (and giving you a reason as to why that boss whipped you - 'You should've used flare!!!!') Its a lot of fun to coordinate team-up moves with a friend, or toss different stratedgies around mid-battle. I also enjoyed Sonic and Tails on Sega. Though not really versatile in its co-op mode, seeing the look of pure frustration on a friend playing Tail's face is priceless as ou - playing Sonic- drag the screen away from him. My final favourite co-op game is Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. kicking major orcish and elephant arse is so rewarding when a friend is there to help... ~CrH~
19. Have you ever cheated on a test? Yes. Many times. The most recent being in my advanced computing class and we had to sketch the Von Neumann diagram. o_0 Our textbook, which I just HAPPENED to bring into the class, had the diagram on the front. The rest is pretty obvious. Do you think that a person would cheat if he or she thought they could get a away with it? Definitely. Its human nature. Of course, it depends on your intelligence and definition of 'getting away with it' but generally people, if given the oppurtunity, will take the easy way out. What do you think is more important in the long run: your GPA or your integrity? GPA? Is that like... high marks? If so, then my integrity. School doesn't interest me enough to warrant striving for high marks, unless its an accelerated learning subject like advanced computing. ~CrH~
20. 'The **nd RPG by Jeh' Isn't it a bit early for Alzeihmers James? Forgetting how many RPs you've made already? In any case I rea lly like this... similar to the actual film posters but different enough to be original. And I like your silohuette thing. Its a shame you used the Northern Hemisphere dates though... betraying your Aussie heritage lol. I can't give ratings well so I'lljust give it three thumbs up. ~CrH~
21. I loved Street Sharks. They were one of my favourite cartoons in primary school (after Biker Mice from Mars of course lol). My favourite had to be the Tiger Shark guy, I think his name was Streaks. Wheras all the others had pretty much accepted their fate he was constantly searching for a way to become himself again. They also had the whale shark guy, The Great White and the Hammerhead. All their names are slipping my miund something shocking. What eventually ruined the series for me though was the dinosaurs. They had no place in the show. As for the Beetlejuice and Ghostbusteres neither phazed me very much. ~CrH~
22.
I can't stand vampires and people who claim to be them. If there are real vampires, then there should be real vampire hunters. I don't have a beef with Mr. Tepes because I think we can all agree that impaling 20,000 people on stakes as a negotiating tactic is sufficiently awesome. What I have a problem with are these 14 year old losers who hang out at raves wearing prosthetic fangs, listening to obnoxious happy-hardcore dancing with giant platform shoes (courtesy of "Hot Topic," because all vampires shop at trendy clothing stores for their pre-packaged sub-culture needs). When they're not busy doing the dishes for their allowance, they're out doing evil things like smoking, staying up past curfew, or reading books on the occult at Barnes & Noble. They join little "sanguinarian" clubs and they change their names to something adequately evil like Raven, Ivy or Memnoch. These are the same people who say they laugh during dramas when someone gets killed. We all know a person like this, they think they're morbid and mysterious because they force out a contrived chuckle during a death scene. Oooh, you laughed during a murder, you're so unique and evil. The fact that the number of members in these stupid clubs surge every time a new "Blade" movie comes out eludes them. Who has time for things like facts and responsibility when you're busy "feeding" yourself by having orgies that give you magical powers? Idiots.
That article from Maddox pretty much sums up my thoughts on people who claim to be vampires. It truly is a stupid person who cuts themself so someone else (or themself) can suck out the stuff that keeps them living. Apart from that the tragically romantic vampires from The Vampire Chronicles appeal to me the most. They are so full of heart and raw emotion that it makes me shudder whenever I read one of the books. And Meier Link from Vamp. Hunter D is pretty awesome too. ~CrH~
23. DUDE! You forgot King of Town, Poopsmith, Marzipan and Homsar! SACRILIGE! Ahem. Yes. Homestar Runner is awesome. Strongbad Emails and Marzipan's answering Machine especially. My fave. character is 'The Cheat', and yeah. I'll just background those unfortunately forgotten characters. King of Town: The King of Town. BIG glutton. Poopsmith King of Town's assisant. Can't talk and shovels **** all day. Marzipan: Homestar's girlfriend and King of Town's daughter. Vego environmentalist. Homsar: Like an anti-Homestar. I think he was the product of a typo in Strongbad Emails. Strongsad's best friend. ~CrH~
24. Dragon Warrior... its... I'm afraid to say... BRILLIANT. Truly a step up from ye old Daily Comic style and a flying leap over Bokizzle. Good job Dragon Warrior-dude. ~CrH~
25. I think it may be a problem introduced with the new improvements. Basically, its putting a a linebreak (br tag) wherever you have a space. If you modify the the code so there is no spaces in your html and only an enter where you would put one in a normal paragraph it should be fine. If that doesn't work I have no idea. ~CrH~
