  1. [COLOR=Indigo][SIZE=1][FONT=Arial Narrow]My personal space requirements vary. With people I know well its fine, I can hack it. But if I don't like you or don't know you you can stay the f**k away. I don't know why... but if I want to learn about someone or meet someone new I'll go up to them to meet them. I'm odd I think. And on bodily contact - no. That's all. ~CrH~[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]
  2. [COLOR=Indigo][SIZE=1][FONT=Arial Narrow]What are you using for jpeg compression? Because that looks... rather blurry. Otherwise slap a border on it and it should be fine. ~CrH~[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]
  3. [COLOR=Indigo][SIZE=1][FONT=Arial Narrow]Through a combination of deceit, intrigue and ninjas... Umm... hehe, I actually typed that? Anyway, how did I get the name CrH... hmm... I recall being fond of the nickname 'Random Hero' from that ****** show Jackass and tried to register for MSN Chat with it. And it was taken so I added Completely. Then I came here and my name was too long so Charles changed it to its abbreviated form after I realized 'CompletelyRando' wasn't appealing. ~CrH~[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]
  4. [COLOR=Indigo][SIZE=1][FONT=Arial Narrow]Here's my attempt dude. ~CrH~[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]
  5. [COLOR=Indigo][SIZE=1][FONT=Arial Narrow]Hmm... regarrding post times. I think it would be best if time was relative, like at OB. In your options it could have 'Timezone: [whatever]'. eg, I'm in 10+ Brisbane so: Timezone: 10+ Brisbane SO if you visted someone's page it would show what time/date they updated relative to you instead of wherever myO time is based off. ~CrH~[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]
  6. [COLOR=Indigo][SIZE=1][FONT=Arial Narrow]Which Bahaumet dude? There is like... eight different forms. Otherwise I'll give it a shot. ~CrH~ [EDIT] Final Fantasy Nine Bahamut dude. Enjoy.[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]
  7. [COLOR=Indigo][SIZE=1][FONT=Arial Narrow][B]Atari 7200[/B] - My dad got it for me when I was like... six years old. Its... somewhere. With its roughly forty games for both it and the 2600. [B]Sega Megadrive[/B] - My granma gave me her old one, with a huge library of games. I beat those games so many times, and had so much fun with them. Until the console was stolen. Some redneck prob. has it right now. [B]Gameboy Pocket[/B] - My dad got it for me for Christmas. I traded it in at eb, but before I did I had about 16 games. [B]Gameboy Colour [/B] - My dad got me this for Christmas too. Is currently in landfill somewhere. My brother poured Fanta on it and it never worked again >.
  8. [COLOR=Indigo][SIZE=1][FONT=Arial Narrow]They look pretty cool, but I definitely prefer the first one. The robot in the second layout just has no feeling or expression. Makes it seem more imersonal. Overall I give the first one a nine and the second a seven. ~CrH~[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]
  9. [QUOTE=Juuthena][color=deeppink][size=1]Hmm... would it be possible to know who's added you as a friend? I went to a few random member blogs, and I saw me added to about two who I don't know... ..; And.... I think having the myO's being transparent isn't a great idea. For the people who don't use tables for the actual posts, it'd be pretty hard to read the text if their background's really er... salad-y. (*can't remember the word*)[/color][/size][/QUOTE] [FONT=Arial Narrow][COLOR=Indigo][SIZE=1]I think the word you're looking for is busy. :p I too disagree with the transperantness for the whole thing. Its all well and good that you have an awesome background that you want people to see, but noone will want to see the site (and by extension, the background) if you can't read the content. Maybe an optional 'reveal background' button would work,it could lift all the content off the page for as lon as the button is pressed. Or something.[/SIZE][/COLOR][/FONT]
  10. [COLOR=Indigo][SIZE=1][FONT=Arial Narrow]What I pay for clothing varies. If its something I've been looking for for ages (like GOOD black jeans) I'll buy them no matter the cost. Otherwise I buy stuff under thirty dollars a lot of the time. I like getting designer t-shirts though, especially those with some kind of sarcastic message. They usually set me back some. As for what I spend on my hair... err... shampoo and conitioner? I don't style my hair or get regular haircuts. I'm too lazy. ~CrH~ EDIT: 'I'm a guy' don't cut it. Just because you have a penis doesn't mean you have to look like a complete and utter redneck. It shits me when people use 'I'm a guy' to wear clothes twenty years old (and thus ripped to shreds) or disgustingly ugly.[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]
  11. [COLOR=Indigo][SIZE=1][FONT=Arial Narrow]Here's my attempt dude. Hope its what you're lookin for. ~CrH~[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]

    Hip Hop

[COLOR=Indigo][SIZE=1][FONT=Arial Narrow]I don't think your excuse is lame. Not at all. I just thought it was the response from a musically sheltered mind. You have some cool bands that you DO like there, but that wasn't the basis of this discussion. None of them are 'hip hop'. And if the only hip hop you've heard is about gangsters and rape you should get out more. There is so many hip hop artists who are in it for the comedy aspect and only 'rap' (hate that term) about women for jokes or serious confessions. Heck, there is even 'rapper's who 'rap' about such mundane things as work (but make it cool as). Gangsters and rape is the prime focus of... well, gansta-rappers (who'd have thought?). Not every hip-hop artist is a gangsta rapper. And how can a whole genre of music be gay? Are we talking happy or homosexual here? Either way it don't make sense. ~CrH~[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]
  13. [CENTER][COLOR=Indigo][SIZE=1][FONT=Arial Narrow]Deep beneath the Earth Live humans Free and happy But in constant fear Above the humans is the wires and tunnels Patrolled by heartless Sentinals Roamed by the fearless Who have escaped Above the wires are the clone fields Row upon row of humans Constantly being monitored and checked By fearsome machines Above the fields is the sky Cracked and broken by human ignorance An ever-shifting cauldron of darkness And despair But above it all, Above the humans, wires, fields and sky Is the sun Innocent and pure Untouched by man or machine[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR][/CENTER]
  14. [QUOTE=Kent] This is all sparked because I was told to search the net for my name from another forum and former name here, GoKents. I searched and came up with a blog entry by James from March, 2003. At one point in the post it was all about James, Cloricus and I. Yeah it was kinda funny. ;) [/QUOTE] [FONT=Arial Narrow][COLOR=Indigo][SIZE=1]Don't know what you're smokin cause I want some. myO has only been around since August 2003. Impossible to find one for March. Anyway, to the questions:[/SIZE][/COLOR][/FONT] [I]How long have you been using my otaku?[/I] [COLOR=Indigo][SIZE=1][FONT=Arial Narrow]October. Ish. I can't remember off the top of my head. Too long.[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR] [i]How frequently do you work with my otaku?[/i] [COLOR=Indigo][SIZE=1][FONT=Arial Narrow]Every other day. Whether its a post, adding a button or experimenting with themes, I usually am at myO tinkering. [/FONT] [/SIZE] [/COLOR] [i]What do all of you do with myO?[/i] [COLOR=Indigo][SIZE=1][FONT=Arial Narrow]Rant. You'll find a lot of people (Shin and TN especially) use their myO to rant. Christ, Shin even has a requested rant service going on. I usually try to post interesting shizzle personally, while some people (like Mimmi) post daily about their... day. Its different for everyone. And thats all. [/FONT] [/SIZE] [/COLOR]
  15. [COLOR=Indigo][SIZE=1][FONT=Arial Narrow]*proudly displays* Tis teh shiz. Totally. He even looks like some freaky interdimensional dude who fights people for no reason! ~CrH~[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]
  16. [QUOTE=Juuthena][color=deeppink][size=1] I was wondering if you could put some sort of limit in the introduction. Some people have like, 20 quiz results, and it's a real hassle to scroll all the way past that to get to the actual post.[/color][/size][/QUOTE] [COLOR=Indigo][SIZE=1][FONT=Arial Narrow]I think it would be better if it was limited number of image tags, not a character limit. Like, fifteen at the very most and only one over 200 by 200. This would stop quizzes in intros (cause they should be down the bottom and most quiz result images are huge) and still let people have a reasonable number of buttons. And, as a sienote, if we were to provide a link to our OB profile people would have to know their usernumber (available in the address bar of a profile page). OB profiles are stored as a number, so I don't know how putting in your name would work. ~CrH~[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]
  17. [COLOR=Indigo][SIZE=1][FONT=Arial Narrow]DW... I want one. And I will kill you if it comes down to it. Wait, that'd be counterproductive cause your the creators.... *thinks of another way to strong arm DW into giving him one* I'll... err... nevbermind. These are awesome. And that little dude rocks. You should name him Bo. ;) ~CrH~[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]
  18. [COLOR=Indigo][SIZE=1][FONT=Arial Narrow]To put up a banner, first make one. Then get it onto a host that allows hotlinking (photobucket, Angelfire etc.) Then hotlink to the banner using the img tags in your sig. ~CrH~[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]
  19. [COLOR=Indigo][SIZE=1][FONT=Arial Narrow]Trust me, there is no plans (or incentive really) for a Final Fantasy 9 sequel. It was a great game sure, and even went Platinum (I think) but not only is the ending unfit for a sequel, but during production Square envisioned it as the last of its kind, last of the expansive mythical fantasy worlds low on tech and big on adventure. The last one with multpile races where magic ruled and wasn't just a tool. That sounded akward. Anyway, because of this it is HIGHLY unlikely that a sequel will ever be made. ~CrH~[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]
  20. [quote name='Mimmi']I can't seem to modify posts today. It takes me to the actual modify page, but there is no button to submit the modified post.[/quote] [COLOR=Indigo][SIZE=1][FONT=Arial Narrow]Modify Posts is right down the bottom now, so one can modify multiple posts at once. ~CrH~[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]
  21. [COLOR=Indigo][SIZE=1][FONT=Arial Narrow]To rob the virgins of their innocence. :p I have no purpose at OB. I am like Shinj, a meaningless drifter who could easily get bored and leave tomorrow. ~CrH~[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]
  22. This plays on the idea that the machines are just like humans. It pits two clone-field harvesters in a 'human-like' conversation. The machine glided through row upon row of humans, idly checking each pod with it sensors as it passed. Alive, alive, alive, dead, dead, alive, dead, dying, alive The machine stopped. They had fought a bitter war with the humans for this? Turning around the machine beeped to its closest mechanical neighbour: Hey Jim? Did you picture this when we slaughtered those humans? Both the machine and Jim were very old units, around since humans breeded naturally. No way man! 'Jim' beeped back. I was seein days just lazin around at ground level, barrel of oil in one tentacle, human pods to leech energy off in all the others. I tell ya Rob, we missed out when we signed up for 'civil duties' Blegh, Rob beeped. Civil duties? More like servo-draining hard work. Both machines beeped in a random matter - it was what served as a laugh. The Architect's voice cut into the back of both machines minds as they beeped, bringing them both back to earth. You two! Back to work! Efficency is done 0.0000000000000000007% because of this idle chit chat! Jim sighed. See ya at the docks Rob, he said as he glided away. Rob waved with a few dozen of his metallic tentacles in farewell. If some 'free humans' don't get me first The two hulking machines laughed once more, before getting back to their allocated duties. Free humans was an old joke among the lesser machines. Dead, dead, dead, alive, alive, dead, dead...
  23. I am bored I stare at my screen, and it stares back A stark white canvas, with one infernal line blinking Always blinking It doesn't move It just blinks Forever more But no! It moves It types It is asking me, 'Who am I' Where am I? My mind boggles, I feel sick I pass out, my head hitting the desk with a thump Eyes opening, bleary, painful Floating. Floating? Why am I floating? A tube drives deep into my chest Yet it doesn't bother me It is like it is a part of me And has always been there But my suspicions are taking me over Why is the tube there? Why do I float? I rage, and rip the tube out I lash out against nothing I black out once more Whilst floating Awake Not floating Covered in goo, sticky Covered in wires, like some sick fetish Where am I? Who am I? I tear the wires out one by one Raging once more, Until the insect appears, And I see, never more
  24. [COLOR=Indigo][SIZE=1][FONT=Arial Narrow]A feature for the button fad would be nice. And maybe you could make the recently updated people in your list bold, because I often miss it when someone updates because it just blends in and looks the same. This wouldn't have to be on the main page mind you, just the backroom. ~CrH~[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]
  25. [COLOR=Indigo][SIZE=1][FONT=Arial Narrow]My favourite quote is: [i]Call me The Customer because I'm always right[/i] It just epitomises all that is arrogant in the world, as well as integrates itself easily into an awesome son by the Hilltop Hoods. ~CrH~[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]
