I don't really like cars but if I had to name one it'd be the Lambourgini Diablo, from racing with it in NFS. Now that I'm passed that little facade, can I warn that you put WHY it's your favourite car, or this thread will just be SPAM and shut down by a mod.

That's a cool wallpaper, even though I absolutely detest the colour orange in large quantities. That doesn't change the fact that it's a good wallpaper though. As for you banner... Coolness. I love it. Looks like you've inverterted a shot of the sky when a lightning bolt hit... Really I have trouble finding trouble in your work, except for my own perverse sense of style.

Showing their details is one of the most idiotic things that can be done. The comments... doesn't really matter, as long as they were kept anonymous, but to give out their details? Ludicrous beyond words. We already have enough trouble with email lists being sold over the net because people can't keep things private, to do this would be the largest violation of privacy available.

My Interests box does that. It shows the last portion of my shoutbox java code. I can't say why though, maybe because its formatting or exceeded box limit?

Writing "Tomorrow . . ." [very short story]
DeadSeraphim replied to Dagger's topic in Creative Works
This is awesome. Plain and simple. Great description, reminds me of the Vampire Chronicles for some reason. -
Art Concerning Midgets (LOTR Comedy Comic)
DeadSeraphim replied to Dragon Warrior's topic in Creative Works
Hilarity dude (but the last pic aint showing). Gotta love Blingwraiths. So much cooler than ringwraiths. And yet again a midget gets hurt. What happened to 'The Wacky Adventures of Dragon Warrior and Syk3' though? --EDIT-- It works now, I can see the last pic -
Why don't you try making the shoulders broader? Not manlike though. *shudders at scary image of girl at his school*. That's the problem I usually have with characters with huge heads, when drawing shoulders I've made them too narrow and the rest of the body has conformed to the size of the shoulders.

You were banned once Yet you came back again You were banned twice Yet you came back again You were banned three times And you just won't give up It seems you NEED a drink from the OB cup In myOtaku you bitch about Mitch And seem to hate the boards and pick at its seems But you fail to realize you'll never get back Not if Charles has anything to say about it at any rate. ------------------------------------------ Can you guess?? My first poem in about two months and off the top of my head to boot. I think its obvious...

Underrated games? I am having heaps of trouble thinking of one. I usually end up with big hits. But there is one that sticks out in my mind. Rollcage. It was kind of like Wipeout but you could go up walls and stuff. You had magnets in the wheels or something. The sense of speed to the game was incredible, and racing against a friend is incredibly fun. eg: He is moments from the finish line, about to win... and you blast him with a freeze ray and he spins out of control, letting you take the win. Another fun game was Midnight Run 2, which was similar but set in the real world, in normal cars, and with awesome multiplayer. Same eg as above though. Very smiliar games indeed.
Originally posted by cloricus Also I've noticed a lot of myOtaku users are being very sloppy with their html code which I think is a result of having no idea what they are doing; I was interested if any one else would be willing to help make an (un)official HowTo guide for adding features to your MO page without breaking anything plus teaching people about the basics.
Umm... you are aware that LazeChibi's already set one up aren't you? Easy enough to find her, goto Member Directory and there she is, under James. The link's on her page. Of course this isn't very well known and I don't know how you could get heaps o people to know about it other than advertising, but its there. While I'm here could I ask why there seems to be a character limit to profile boxes that ask for basic info. I keep a Shoutbox down in that lefthand bar and everytime I edit something in my profile the javascript has to be reentered, though luckily for me my browser does it for me. I had real head aches with it when I started.

If I had to choose from them I'd say LOTR, but otherwise I'd say the movie Lost in Translation. Or Cowboy Bebop *laughs quietly to himself*. But Mary Kate and Ashley???? What were you thinking???

It's fabulous, I love the way you have captured the grain in the wood. But I agree with you when you say the blood looks a bit... 'iffy'. Not quite as real as the rest of the scene.

Yes I was kidding. What do you take me for??? I personally haven't seen Noir, as I have a penchant for the dark and violent, but if you were to bring someone in on this, 'human-like' show you may have to step them up gradually. Of course its all hypothesis. To clear things up the only three movies I've brought my friends into anime with are Ghost in the Shell, Blood and Sin. I myslef was brought in on the whole series of Bublegum Crisis Tokyo 2040. Each showing made a different reaction in my friends, and it proves that no one anime can be the perfect starter. Though, if I had to, I would nominate Digi9mon for that honour.
Originally posted by Megumi Also, the hair's too flat. Anime characters are known for having really big hair.
I wouldn't say that. There are so many characters with flat normal hair it'd be impossible to list them. My only problem with it is as everyone else has stated - the head's too big.

Its okay, but the background seems a bit busy for me. Also maybe you should have made it a different colour (the background) because... I can't explain it in words. Just somehow Venus seems to blending in with it, perhaps because of her colouring.

Your going to get yourself banned at that rate. Trust me, it's happened to at least four people I've known at the Boards. As for this Inuyasha, I haven't had the oppurtunity to watch any episodes yet, due to the fact we don't have Pay TV, but from what I've heard it's deeply compelling. And upon having (just)seen the three forms of Inuyasha it just intrigues me more.

Anime What Anime Would make a Good Video Game?
DeadSeraphim replied to Ryu_Sakura's topic in Otaku Central
Anime to videogame? That's a hard one. I'd see Vampire Hunter D but that's already been done. So I might have to go with... Sin. It's this really cool exceptionally violent anime I saw once or twice. Lots of gore. In fact it'd probably be banned as quickly as Manhunt if it were made into a game. -
Pokemon. No I'm joking, though that could be a starter for younger ones. I'd either show them Akira or Blood or VhD or I'd ascertain which anime they'd like best by their tastes. If you like romantic soppy stuff you not going to enjoy Dragon Ball Z as much as someone who relished constant battles and action. If you were to bring a person over into anime, a sceptic, the best thing to do would be consider their own tastes and work from there. It would be stupid to bring a hater of violence in with the movie Sin.

Writing From Beyond the Dead[Mature Somewhat I'd Say]
DeadSeraphim replied to Mitch's topic in Creative Works
Mitch, that was freaky. Having finally completed it without risking permanent eye damage, Alls I can see is freaky. Not that its bad, it is well written (though I agree some bits were rather cryptic) and I liked it. Anyway, yeah. I have no idea how to finish this post politely, except maybe by once again saying I found this story a work of art. -
Originally posted by SasukeUchiha Haze_Gundam006 you make a good point, but this is a message board and even in the art forum, most people just want to see it. You need to join a community specifically driven to comment and critique peoples work. Oh and I meant to ask you in my Wp thread are you part of deviantart?
That is a good suggestion actually, though I'd probably recommend Art Conspiracy a little more. It is possible to belong to more than one forum. As to the original question, my answer would be that some people are simply taught that when you have nothing good to say, say nothing at all. As for the great art that gets posted here and never commented on I don't know. Have you considered the large number of people who just browse around as 'visitor'? That might account for high viewings.

It's a great idea Dragon Warrior but I think you fail to realize that there is a typo in your logo. Aren't you missing an 'r' somewhere? *Tries not to act pompous over spelling mistake, truly tries with all his might*

My creative juices usually kick in around January and run out by October. In that time I'll usually get fanatical about my writing while at the same time end up (slowly) improving my abysmal drawing skills. Everyone who's read my work says its goods (at least the recent stuff) but all I really want to do is get past 10 pages for a story...

My top albums this year were... all Australian. Let's see... 1. Frenzal Rhomb - San Souci. I love this album. It has spent the most time in my CD player this year. And its only half an hour long. 2. Hilltop Hoods - The Calling. Awesome album. I can't describe it it's so good. 3. The Herd - An Elefant Never Forgets. Political hip hip that pays out Bus and John Howard. And rather good beats. And yeah. they're my Top 3 albums.

That looks much better, but as you said, the lighting on his face is gone. It's regrettable. The sky is good and the darkening of the cloak thingy demonstrates that its night. Anyway, its better than what it was.

Very, very cool. I'd suggest the thing that's missing would be something in the sky. It seems very blank.
