Hey if you created the Rurouni Kenshin background featuring young Kenshin and Tomoe in black and white, is there any way that you can create the same back ground without the colored picture of Kenshin and Tomoe covering up the black and white? I hope yo find this because i can't seem to reach you any other way. No matter how hard i try to find you.

Only my family and close friends know how to pronounce my last name, but spelling it is a different matter. It's a dutch name, Koorndyk.

The super powers that i would love to have would have to be flying because i always thought it would be cool to do that and because i bet the view from up there would be spectacular. I also would like the power of telepathy. I've always wanted to know what some people are thinking and feeling...

I know this may sound a little wierd, but i have a fear of people vomiting. Its not the vomit itself, just everything else. I really don't know the scientific name for it either.

Not to sound desperate, but I havn't met a lot of people here yet and i was wondering if anyone would like to talke to me for a while. Right now, I've only got one true friend on the otaku boards, and he's hardly on anymore. I'd love to talk to anyone, prefferably around my age (16). one of the major problems my old boyfriend had was that he held my hand to much. Not once in our relationship did he put his arm around me. Its good to hold hands but not all the time. My old boyfriend was too shy and never really got around to kissing me. By the time we actually got around to trying it, we had broken up. The one 'kiss' he did give me wasn't really a kiss at all. I'm not even sure we did kiss, thats how lightly he touched my lips. If your going ot kiss a girl, make sure its a sure-footed kiss, not a weak, barely there kiss.

I havn't broken any bones, or anything like that, just had some wisdom teeth removed, that all. Right now, one of the more interesting questions going around my highschool is: What hurts more, getting hit in the nuts or having children? Nobody can experience both, so i was just wondering what you guys though about it ;)

My eyes change with my moods, if I'm calm and peacefull, my eyes are a blue-grey color, depending on the light. When I'm angery or mad, My eyes turn a green grey color. You can always tell when I'm angry because of the change.

I personally like guys with shaggy hair, and the darker, the better. I don't mind if they're in shape or not. I also looks for personality and sense of humor, not to mention ,a bit of pervertion.(Hey, what fun is a guy who is too shy and proper) I like them to be taller than me, for them to be able to think for themselves and as long as there at least a bit intelligent, I'm happy. Of course the cleanliness is a given along with the whole shaving thing. They have to have some manners, but I don't care if their sloppy. As long as they like to have fun and they have their priorities in order, I'm good to go. ( They also have to be fun and lovable, with a good heart for loving)

I would like to become a member. So, here goes. Name: Saphera Tali Age:16 Gender:Female Race: 1/2 angel, 1/2 haru Essence:Ice Bio: Saphera is an active girl who loves adventure and music. She is a middle class citizen who lives with her parents. She is a deadly archer and swordsman, who posesses unnatural heal abilities. She is also inpervious to the cold so she has no problem keeping warm. Occupation: adventurer, philosopher, weapons/metal specialist, chemist, alchemist Description: Saphera is about 5'4" and has ice blue eyes. She has long, silver with blue streaks , which she acquires when she recieves the esssence of ice. She wears a pair of extremely short, blue jean shorts and an metallic silver tank top. The entire middle section all around the shirt has been replaced with a complex pattern of silken threads, which have been woven together to resemble ice crystals that look as if they have been painted on her skin. Saphera also wears dangle earrings which have ice crystals shaped like arrows on the ends, a very complex necklace which has little arrows adorning it all the was around, and she wears shoes similar to combat boots, except hers cut off at the ancle. Weapon: she wields a sacred bow, with ancient, magical runes, which possess holy powers, carved into the wood along with ice tipped arrows that are even sharper that obsidian. She also wields a sacred bladed sword which possess mystical powers and two daggers: one made out of ice that can only be used when her ice essence is activated, and a normal dagger. She also possess the ability to create weapons or useful items out of ice. That task is extremely hard at first, but becomes easier with practice. She can channel a little energy for battles but can channel much healing energy and is inhumanly fast and swift. She can create or destroy objects using alchemy and its basic principles: In order to obtain, something of equal value must be lost, and, human transmutations( such as creating life, bringing back the dead, and changing or altering a body) is extremely forbidden, resulting in the loss of bodies, body parts, and souls. This skill comes in handy when traveling, for she can create food, water, and shelter from the elements surrounding her.

SuzakuGur, i would ahve to agree with you. Rurouni Kenshin is one of my top favorites. But i do like others such as, Inuyasha and YuYu Halusho. I can tell that you are a real anime fanatic. I am to. One of the main reasons i set up this thread is to see how many people are huge fanatics.

I think InuYasha's could have more depth, but i really like the first Usagi message. Its' truly funny

I've seen most of the Rurouni Kenshin episodes. But it depends on if you bought Samuri X or Rruouni Kenshin: wandering Samuri. The First set of episode is about who kenshin is, his abilitites, and the introducing of new characters. They also have a lot to do with what Kenshin must go thought a Battousi the ManSlayer. Many of Kenshin's old enemies and new rivals are after him, trying to kill him as a job assignment, or they want his life to they may capture the title of the warrior who defeated the revolutions strongest fighter. They also tell why and when Kenshin becomes a wonderer, and and what he goes though to not break his vow of never killling again. The second set of episodes shows the brutality of the revolution through Kenshins flashbacks. Also Kenshin's successor, who takes Kenshin's title of the assassin in the darkness when Kenshin chooses to fight out in the open as Battousi the manslayer, has dreams of ruling all of Japan, and what Kenshin must do to win against his successor, resulting in some pretty weird alliances. I have not seen the third set of episodes, but i know pretty much what they are about. But to understand them more I strongly suggest watching the four Samuri X DVD's(or at least the first and second one) because they show what happens to Kenshin during the revolutin that ends up resulting in the third set of episodes, in Rurouni Kenshin. I've seen the Slayers. I thinks its a rather nice anime, if i do say so myself. I especially love the magic and Lina's attitude.

I've never really seen Noir either, but in expecting it in ht email pretty soon. I've never really heard of Dual, I'll have to check that out for myself..... what channel is Tech TV on ( if it is a channel) I've heard good things about it but i don't know where to start looking.

I know how you feel. Rurouni Kenshin has touched my emotions on so many levels. I love the characters and the plot. Might i suggest you try to rent or buy Samuri X. This is the original cartoon that starts from the beginning of Kenshin's past. This series is all about his training to become a samuri and what challenges he must face on this tough road. I can definately agree with you on your post. There are just so many different kinds and styles af anime cartoons out there that its really not fair just to pick one or two. I also share your opinion of Kenshin Himura. I think he is one of more hansome characters out there. You always find the most interesting things if not cute things in anime with an unsuspecting title.

I know how you feel. Its soo hard to choose a favorite when there are so many good show out there!

I can't really say i've seen Noir, but i'm going to see it very soon. I can't wait to see it with all of the good reviews about it coming in. But i definately like slayers. It is quite hilarious.

Can't say i really have much of an opinion. I'm not really familiar with Haruko. I've heard the name before, but thats about it. Vash, though, he's a different story. I could see him with just about any woman with a strong will, and that has a soft side even though, she doesn't want to admit it. I think that would be the perfect girl for Vash, But there are many, many possiblities.
