I like how 16 year olds talk down to 14 year olds online like they're Vietnam veterans or something.
I'm turning 23 in 20 days, so I'm hardly 16 And I'm hardly talking down to anyone, I'm just gving my opinion as are you. Of course, my opinion comes from experiance from me and a few of my friends. My best friend ended up getting pregnant the first time she had sex with her current boyfriend while she was on Ortho Tricyclin (a type of birthcontrol pill) How would you like something like that to happen to you? I got pregnant after being off birth control for a month. So maybe while I'm not Vietnam Vet marterial, I do know what I'm talking about. What I really like is when someone comments on another person's reply and never reads the whole thing through. Did you read the part where the woman who is my birth mother was only 15 when she had me?
A lot of the morals being preached in this thread are coming from people who can't get laid. If you feel ready to tackle sex, wrap it up and enjoy yourself. It's your learning experience and not "血"biHorseWoman's or whatever. Sex doesn't always come with emotional baggage.
Well, I'm pretty sure I didn't get pregnant through immaculate conception. Although in some religions everyone is their own God or Goddess so maybe if you want to get technical.... But no, I'm quite capable of getting 'laid' as it is. My chances would be even better if my husband wasn't deployed. What about yours? For that matter, what's so bad about being a virgin? It sure as hell is a lot safer in this day and age. It's your learning experiance? Wow, that's a mature way to look at it! Especially since this learning experiance can lead to a few STDs, a pregnancy and a wonderful trip to the delivery room 9 months later if the condom breaks or someone is under the impression that if they pull out before they finish no sperm will get out  . Condoms aren't fool proof people, neither is birth control As for the emotional baggag, you didn't really read the whole sentance did you? I said that unless both you and your sex partner can agree to be nothing more than sex partners, fine. Then you can just go about going at it until the proverbial cows come home. No strings attatched. Just remember that when you see him or her with someone else looking intimate that it's only sex ANd just remember, you said it yourself as well, Sex doesn Always come with emotional baggage. That doesn't mean it can't.
I think his right is his penis.
The universal thought shared by male sex offenders everywhere. Anime Eastern vs Western- The ultimate animated war
ChibiHorsewoman replied to PWNED's topic in Otaku Central
i dont think that there is any better one coz all of them are nice to see and draw. each and every animae and non animae has its own specialties like animae the way they draw the eyes are amazing and all animae cartoons have differnt ways to draw the eyes. the non animae cartoons all have the same eyes but they make it 3D . by one way the western people are cheating by using computer animation but on the other hand they are also clever enough to use techonlogy to help them make cartoons .eastern people are talented in drawing cartoons free hand without using techonolgy but they are not talented in using the computer.
Ooookay. No haven't you watched anime lately? The new ones have quite a few computer graphics inserted. InuYasha comes to mind with the energy waves coming off of him when he's sat. Cheating? I think not. If you look at some of the frames from SailorMoon you'll see that they've been used over and over. especially the senshi transfoprmation scenes. That would be cheating as well right? Keh, not talented using a computer? Where do you think our computers come from, Canada? Like everyone else has said, Japan is one of the most technologically advanced nations in the world. Computer animation isn't cheating in my opinion, it's just making things go faster and making new types of movies. Finding Nemo, Monster's Inc and Shrek for example. And those take lots of time and effort as well. As for the eyes. I've noticed more simularities in anime eyes than in the western drawings. If I can, I'll scan a copy of soem Korean Manga I have and demonstrate. -
I've 'seen' quite a few good deaths in my anime and manga (we can do manga correct?) enjoyment. Most Tradgic Anime death :
Nuriko
from Fushigi Yugi I think it was one of the most touching and heart warming as well because he
Died while protecting MIaka from (dammit I forgot that seiyuu seishi's name). Also the night before he actually cut off his braid because he wasn't going to go around dressed like a woman anymore. Therefore he put his sister to rest before he contuinued with his duty as one of the Suzaku seven. In the end, right before he died Nuriko also told Miaka that he loved her. (which may have made some people sick.)
Nuriko's death was so sad that
I ended up crying along with Tasuki and the others.
Most tradgic Manga death
Lethe and Mnemosyne
from SailorMoon Stars They were two sisters whose
home planet had been destroyed by Choas. Galaxia tricked them and they ended up fighting the senshi. (Eternal Moon, the Starlights Kakyuu and ChibiChibi.) I forget how some of this goes. But one of the sisters tries to convince the other that they shouldn't fight the senshi. Just as they do that Phi and Chi attack Lethe and Mnemosyne killing them. They die holding eachothers hands. Now if you'll excuse me I need to go get a tissue after those two. :bawl: Funniest Anime Death Kaori/ Kaolinite from SailorMoonS It's probably awful of me to say that this is a funny death, but it was:
One minute she's standing behind professor Tomoe saying all this stuff to him and just gushing over him. The next thing you know Mistress9, proving that Hotaru is somewhat inside her, Strangles Kaori/ Kaolinite with her hair and electrocutes her.
 Self Sacrificing manga death which is almost tradgic, but not really Kikyo from InuYasha (duh) This death doesn't need spoilers because it's at the begining of the story...unless you've been bad and didn't read the beginning, but why would you do that? Of course,if you haven't bothered to read or watch IY, I'll do the spoilers
Kikyo shoots InuYasha with one of her arrows and pins him to a tree so in a way she kills him. Then she ends up dying as well and takes the jewel with her.
In a way it's not so much self sacrificing as it is giving way to a whole story. Worst and Stupidest deaths ever. These deaths have been deemed to be completely avoidable or just plain uninteresting. After I give my examples, others are asked to contribute[/b] Worst over all manga deaths which happened to one person countless times: Chiba Mamoru/ Tuxedo Kamen of SailorMoon I'm convinced that this guy has a sign that says Please Kill me Then Bring me back to life taped on his back that only SailorMoon Villains can see. He died during the Silver Millenium. He died in the Dark Kingdom arc of SailorMoon twice
first he was brought back to life by Queen Metallia then he died and was brought to life by the Guginshu/Silver Crystal.
Then he died twice in the SailorStars Arc
Once when Galaxia stole his star seed then again when she pushed him off a cliff...or maybe that was a fanfic
 either way, his stupid deaths are some of the worst ever. Stupidest anime death by a female villain Sailor Lead Crow from SailorStars Maybe it's just the SailorMoon characters, or maybe it's me. But Lead Crow could have saved herself. Instead she was
Sucked into her own black hole
Stupidest anime death by a male villain Rubius SailorMoonR He died when his space ship exploded with him inside. If the guy had just managed to kill off one of the Senshi, maybe Esmuraude would have brought him back with her. Well, there you have it. Maybe after I read some more manga and anime and remember some more things maybe I'll have some more death for you.
I'll be honest with you people, I've got no problem saying I plan on having sex with my girlfriend pretty soon. Some people think we're too young but we're both mature and ready for it, and we really love each other. I just wanna know what to expect,
Before you go and have sex here are some things you should ask yourself: 1.) Are you atleast three quarters of the way willing to be with this person for the rest of your natural life? 2.) Are you financially ready to raise a child or three ?(hey, if the egg splits in 3 you have to raise three kids simple as that) 3.) Would you be emotionally distraught if this person decided to break it off with you? If you can't answer yes to all 3 of these questions, you really have no right to have sex. Of course, that never stopped quite a few people so maybe I just wasted some of my time saying that. Consider this then: what if after you sleep with her a few times you decide to break it off with her. Would you be totally okay with her getting high on some angel dust then screaming outside your bedroom window at 2 in the morning? Because I know a guy that happened to. It wasn't pretty from what I heard. Sex (unless your one of those people with the ability to just be bed buddies) does carry some very heavy emotional baggae with it. And of course, there's the whole baby thing. Come to think of it...my birth mother was just a year older than you when she had me. Do you still want to go through with it?
Is it really true that girls bleed when they first do it? I've heard of "popping the cherry" but do they really bleed while they're doin it?
It's what I've heard, and as far as I know it's true that tehre's a little bit of blood after the deed is done. Nothing a little bit of Shout won't get out, but nothing to faint over. Actually, I've heard that some women don't bleed at all. But try telling that to some of these doctors in some countries that actually try to turn a lady back into a virgin before her wedding night.
I don't wanna hurt her if she does bleed alot or sumthin. Well, I'm sure none of you wanna hear this so I'll shut up.....
There's no getting around it. The first and the second time hurt. THere's nothing you can do short of buying some KY Jelly to make it a bit less painful. Trust me on this. But then again...since you'll be using a condom when this happens (CHW is a big supporter of Birth Control and condoms) you may not want to use lube because it weakens the latex. Then of course there's always the chance of the condom breaking, or that you'll be allergic to latex and get a nasty rash and won't that be fun to explain to mom and dad? Okay now that I've actually got that out of the way I can sleep I think.

Anime Eastern vs Western- The ultimate animated war
ChibiHorsewoman replied to PWNED's topic in Otaku Central
I think it depends on what you're looking for in animation since both sides of the ocean have many possibilities sometimes it's just better to decide what you want to watch. Earlier anime that I've seen I thought was a bit choppy and didn't really apeal to me as a viewer. However, I've seen some of the earlier Bug BUnny cartoons (mostly used as propganda during WW2 against Nazi Germany) and I found that entertaining. It's interesting to see how the gorvernment and animators used cartoon characters to sway children. Infact If I could get ahold of something like that from another country (besides the poster in the 1st Cav museum with Superman telling Bosnian children to stay away from Landmines.) I'd enjoy that. There are ups and downs to both eastern and western animation I just hope this whole topic doesn't turn into another unfortunate rant on how western animation sucks. Because it really doesn't. Unauthorized use of anime image in Bush campaign ad?
ChibiHorsewoman replied to MillieFan's topic in General Discussion
If you knew anything about the McDonald's coffee case you'd know it's a good example of when to sue. It was roughly 20 degrees hotter than what it was supposed to be. Coffee shouldn't cause 2nd and 3rd degree burns.
Yes, but you also shouldn't try to hold a styrofoam cup of hot coffee in your lap. Part of that was due to the woman's stupidity. The cups do say 'Caution, contents are hot' for a reason. Besides, some people will complain if they don't think the coffee is hot enough there's just no pleasing anyone, so go make your own coffee! :flaming: Okay, enough with the coffee rant! I don't really care what Bush has in his campaign ads anymore. He could try to get trained monkeys juggling bananas and equate that to what John Kerry would do with the government and I wouldn't care. I may try really hard to be watching tv when the monkey ad comes on, but I wouldn't be swayed by juggling monkeys. In that same sense, I wouldn't be swayed if Bush used altered or unaltered anime characters for an ad campaign. It's like TN said,
If an anime character makes you wanna vote for Bush then you should shoot yourself now.
If the American public can be swayed by cartoon characters and monkeys, then where's the hope for our government and for that matter our country? -
There was a reality show called Boot Camp where the contestants endured military training and such. :)
Yes, I remember it on the History channel.
Especially since I've heard that losing your virginity hurts, and you bleed...
Well, I won't lie, it does hurt a bit. But only the first and second time. And then again after you haven't done it in a while. Oh, and after you have a baby and they've sewn you back up and then after six weeks when your OBGYN give you the green light to have sex again. Of course that last one is only from a book Called Pregnancy Sucks, What to do When your Miracle Makes you Miserable. And my best friend who ever since she lost it seems to tell me some things she would have choked on when we were in High School. And after you've done it a few times again it becomes less painful again. Just stock up on KY Jelly. I don't know what to tell you about the bleeding myth part of it since I was near the end of my stupid period when I lost it. Now there's a story! Uh..nuh. I never get really bad cramps during my period...I get them before my period and those are usually no where near as bad as my menstral migrains. However, If you want to talk pain prior to birth, let me tell you about Braxton hicks. That's the name they give to these cramps or false labor pains you get in the third trimester. Those are enough to make your eyes roll back in your head and wish someone harm. Giuys get off easy. I've heard that the closest a guy can come to experiancing labor pains is passing a gall stone. Blue balls really can't be all that bad. I mean, there is a cure for that. And it's not that hard to do either. :flaming: I used to have some modesty when it came to talking about sex, but now I really just have to restrain myself to not go over board. I know Lincoln talks about it a lot. This one guy who's around his age over in Iraq who's also married and has a kid says he should stop talking about wanting it and grow up. Lincoln's reply was. "Call me crazy, but I thought one of the signs of a healthy marriage is to lust after your wife." It's nice to know you're wanted, isn't it? I never had much modesty talking about my period. Mostly because IU wanted to gross out my brother. As for the tampon instruction thing: The intructions are usually included inside the box of tampons. If you're a first time user I'd suggest trying the playtex gentle glide or the Tampax Pearl. The light days are probably the best to go with as well and so far as I know only tampax makes those. The first time they will feel a bit odd. The key to knowing you've got it in right is that you don't feel it. Personally, I prefer tampons to pads because you can swim in them and they don't go all over the place like pads do. My post is getting a bit long, so I'll wait a while before I discuss some more emberassing stuff like Yeast Infections.

Anime Hentai (discussion 18 & up plz)
ChibiHorsewoman replied to Sephiroth_unite's topic in Otaku Central
I thought La Blue Girl was one of the most screwed up anime I'd ever seen. Although it did have some really humurous bad dialog. The phrase 'Oh Master, make me your love slave!' comes to mind at this point and time. I honestly can't imagine why the guy decided to make all the villains be some freaky looking guys and what not. And what was up with that weird looking guy who kept looking at girl's panties? My husband's mentioned a few hentai anime he's seen (because we know how much guys seem to like any type of porn hard or soft) He mentioned this game anime called True Lovewhich is some thing about this guy trying to get sex from different women, and a series called Bible Black. I have no idea what that's about. I saw Sakura Diaries, I kind of thought that was almost like soft porn in a way, but that was just my opinion. I haven't really watched too many of them, but I've heard of a few. Ogenki Clinic anyone? I'm also wondering about Onegai Teacher. But since I haven't seen I won't say. I doubt most hentai is actually meant to have an actual story line, in some ways I think it's like regular live people stuff. -
and honestly . . . i still don't know how to use a tampon.
I saw them using one on Queer Eye for the Straight guy.But it wasn't how the directions showed from the box. Besides, you can't use tampons when your pregnant or before your six week appointment. I learned about sex in a few different ways: 1.) Health class: STDs, AIDS, human gestration period. Oh and why you should wear a condom. 2.) Parents: the birds and the bees, where babies come from and the episode that every child dreads and i won't elaborate on. 3.) Cable TV: Decifering scrambled shows does wonders at your birthday sleep over parties. 4.) Ft. Gordon GA Memorial Day Weekend 2001: Again, I won't elaborate except to say, El bless the USA. One of my health classes was in 6th grade at a Catholic school and they told us the bare minimum including how everyone should remain abstinant and that sex is actually bad. Probably why I waited until I was 19 almost 20 and I've only been with one guy. The other one was public school and they handed out condoms. Go figure. My mom took me to get birth control before the memorial day weekend incident. She's pretty smart about some things I guess. Did that make any sense? Probably not, but it's late. Well, that's it for now.

What TV shows did you watch as a kid?

You have problem? o.O)
I don't have a problem with it. A friend of my brother's had me tape a few of his Soap Operas for him while he was in school. And I know for a fact that guy's straight too. Then since I had satelite at the time he'd tape SailorMoon for me since I had to go to work. Another one I remember watching is Smurfs. You know those freaky little blue things? There was this guy GArgamel who was always trying to catch them and he ended up making Smurfette becuase for some odd reason prior to that creation there were no female smurfs. (oh ,look at my run on sentance!) Gargamel had this cat name Azreal. I always felt sorryfor the cat because he/she never seemed to get enough attention, but tehy guy was always calling it stupid and mangy. As I think back on this show I'm wondering if perhaps teh Smurfs were gay or something. Because there was only the one female and she wasn't even originally a Smurf. Yet tehy'd lived for centuries w/o them. But maybe they were also stoners becuase of the Mushroom houses. Okay, I need to stop annalyzing cartoon characters. -

I would not could not share space with: Chang Wufei of Gundam Wing-Because he'd either me yelling about 'The injustice of having to share living space with a weak woman' and after the third of fourth declaration of that statement I'd have to smash his head in with my cast iron skillet and end up breaking my wrist in the process. Or he'd start yelling at things like the moon, or wolves like he did in this one episode where he decided he was too weak to fight. Chiba Mamoru AKA Tuxedo Kamen AKA Tuxedo Mask AKA Darien Sheilds AKA Prince Endymion ect ect ect-For one thing he has far too many personalities. How do I know I'm not harboring a wanted felon with all those aliases. Or maybe he has some kind of mental instability that the public should be warned about. People like that just aren't stable. Plus he has a nasty habit of dying or losing his memory or both. Who's to say he wouldn't have that happen and not come up with the rent, Or just plain die because some other villain decided he had a nice dream mirror, or pure heart crystal, or star seed. No thank you. And don't tget me started on the stupid speeches he makes after his transformation. Or the clothes, he only wore one decent outfit, and that was for one episode in SMS. I don't want to call Queer Eye on him! Vegetta from DBZ-Hmm, an angry egotistical guy with a napoleon complex who hates humans and has incredible strength. Yeah, that would be a great idea, just let me call up someone for homeowner's insurance and get a quote...uhhh no! Sorry, only one angry, egotistical guy with a napoleon complex for a roommate per lifetime for this Chibi Horsewoman! Boom Boom (can't think of her actual name right now) From X-Men (going by Evolution)-She's probably a very nice person. However, she's a very nice person who has the ability to make little bombs with her hands, hence the name Boom Boom. On the plus side, she did call Wolverine Badger, which I though was funny. But still, she falls into the same catergory as Vegitta. Tsukake from InuYasha-I think it's because of the fact she just can't let things go and she has some beauty obsession. Yeah, I'd probably get to use some really nice cosmetics, and would never have to fill out an address form for Sephora again. But still the risk of being bitten by a snake just scares me The woulds Eudial of the Witches Five from SailorMoonS-She drives like someone with a death wish and she almost turned the senshi into BBQ. Yeah, she stole a job from Mimet and shot at Neptune. But she was smart enough to figure out who Neptune and Uranus were. Besides, I think that fire buster would come in real handy for out door BBQs Kagura from InuYasha-No real reason except I like the way she talked to Sesshomaru. And how even thoough it could cost her her life she still tries to go against Naraku. She might even be fun to hang around with. I have more, but my hands are starting to hurt a bit. So maybe later okay?

Anime Which manga/manwha do you want to be animated?
ChibiHorsewoman replied to Dagger's topic in Otaku Central
A few that I'd like to see Peach Girl For some reason I can picture NUrse Misao with the seiyuu voice of Megumi Ogata who did the voices of Ten'ou Haruka/SailorUranus and I think Cooan. If not Cooan it was one of the Ayakashi sisters. It would also be nice to actually put a voice with Adachi Momo. I kind of think she'd have a slightly deeper voice where Sae would be real high pitched. Plus, I think it would be a big bonus to have sound effects for Kiley getting smacked in the head and kneed in the groin. But maybe that's just me and my sadisticly twisted mind set. Mars I think it's actually the only other manga I've read that hasn't been animeated. Should I feel ashamed? I think Masao would have some really sinister sounding voice kind of like Nakago from Fushigi Yugi. Then again, to suit his ambiguous looks he may have a female seiyuu like the Sailor Star Lights did for the last season of SailorMoon. I wonder if the lady who did Yaten is still around. I picture Kira Aso's voice somewhat like the girl who plays Mizuno Ami in Pretty Guardian sailorMoon. I can't think of what Rei would sound like yet, but it would be something that betrays a bit of fragility. There are my two pathetic choices. I think I should go read that Battle something or other manga I was talking about a few weeks ago. I don't think that's been animated yet. -
I won't go see Farenheit 9/11 out of moral issues. Like Deathbug, I can't find a logical reason to give Moore more money so he can go and make some more assinine movies while going to foreign countries and talking about how much he hates America. He seems to like it enough to live in an apartment on Park Avenue. Maybe even though the German people are willing to listen to him spew Anti-American sentiment they're not ready to deal with him as a citizen as of yet. Yes, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but Moore goes a bit too far. I'm liberal as well (no chosen party, I find I'd rather find the best person for the job rather than stick with a party) but Moore goes so far off the left wing deep end it won't be long until someone has to throw him a floatation device. That is, if his head doesn't allow him to float without one by then. As for the soldiers fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq, here's my opinion. We went to war with Afghanistan because that's where the terrorists who hijacked the planes almost 3 years ago originated from. The united states and the service men and women had a clear idea of why they were over in Afghanistan. We weren't lied to for our reasons fighting in Afghanistan. Iraq is a completely different story. As far as I can tell the only reason we're in Iraq is because George W. BUsh felt that his father was threatened back in '91 and couldn't let well enough alone even though back in '98 George H. W. Bush made a statement about hwo going to war with Iraq now or in the future would be ill advised. We sure as hell aren't over in Iraq for the oil. Don't you think that if Iraq had a large oil supply they would have bothered invading Kuwwait (okay, maybe they would have, but I can't really think of anything else). Or maybe GWB just decided to impose his views on the entire world. Because of this over 800 men and women have died since last March for reasons unknown. Sunday a guy in my husband's unit got hit in the face with an RPG, a Marine was lured from his base and taken el knows where and then there's the case with the PVT (no clue if he was just a PVT or PFC) who may have been beheaded two weeks ago. And for what? In conclusion, go ahead and see the movie if you really need something to do over the summer. But remember that any type of extremism is a bad thing.
You're just jealous you didn't think of them first. Let's see the members of U2 dance and sing in 7" heels. Yeah; that's what I thought.
I'm afraid to comment on that, except that I think U2 is still together while the Spice Girls broke up after their second Album. I'm going to go with Third Estate. They're a local band so what if they're a bit stuck up. Their music's still pretty good. I would've picked No Doubt, but I got here too late.
