Okay, I forgot to clear up the fact that my Golden was on a chain and he was connected to our porch, we live in base housing which if any one on here is a military brat you know housing really isn't all that private. So my dog was on a chain he was not roaming around with out proper restrictions and it's not like he has much room to roam, our porches and yards are connected so there's the blind spots filled in. I'm sorry for not specifying that but now that those are filled in now make the choice. Cause like I said, there is a wall dividing our porches and a sidewalk dividing our yards so it's close quarters. I just think he's being an ***, but that's just me.
Okay now I understand, thanks for clearing that up. Those yards on base don't give much room for a dog to roam. Hells they don't give much room for humans to roam. (Ft. Hood alumni of 2002-2003!) Of course my brother's dog is on a chain too in a fenced civilian yard up here and he used to jump the fence and get into other neighbours' yards as well when he lived with my parents. :animesigh. So I did give you the benefit of the doubt there. I think what you really have here is a neighbour with a severe failure to not be a jackass. I had one of those too when I was living off base. Depending on the guy's rank (or lack there of) you could just go to his CO if the problem persists. Or maybe MPs (I don't really remember if all on base neighbourhoods have MP stations since Hood was such a large base and some of the on base housing was off base.) If the situation does get more extreme (ie: he starts shouting or threatening you or your kids I'd definately say to find out which company he's with along with the MOS (well I think it's how it goes, they did stick a bunch of 31 Fox together) and call up his CO to get the problem solved, but do it anonomysly. Some guys (like my ex roommate) get quite pissy when you go behind their backs to report that they were threatening you.
I guess I'd just ask you - without knowing the entire background here - do you basically trust that your husband's side of the family will care for your daughter? In other words, are you confident she is at least not in any danger? If so - and again, without knowing the ins and outs - I wouldn't worry too much. It's an awkward situation, especially where the step mother is the wife of your ex-husband. It could just be that she doesn't know how to approach the situation in a mature manner. It's really hard to say I guess. I figure, you know when you're picking your daughter up...so really, unless they're doing something horrible with your daughter while she's there, you at least know you'll have her back shortly. My personal concern would be if I felt she was in danger or if I felt they were grossly irresponsible. Those are things you have to toss up. But by the same token you probably don't want to fly off the handle if it's unwarranted - that could hurt your chances later on.
There are some members of his family (by some I mean his mother) that I wouldn't trust, but we have a mutual agreement where she's concerned. I don't think my daughter is in any danger (even if once when she was just over a year she came back from a visit with them and her baby hair was geled into a fauxhawk) being with them since they have a one year old and she has a 14 year old from a previous relationship. I just know that she has little or no respect for me what so ever (they got together when my ex and I were married.) So they both see any of my ideas or opinions as either ill informed or lacking in intelligence. But I think the worst that could happen is that my daughter comes back with her ears pierced and her hair shortened. And I can't say anything about pierced ears since I have them and a bit more. I think it's more separation anxiety than anything else because I haven't been away from my daughter for more than 16 hours and that's only because of work. I tried saying that much to my daughter's step mother and I got the impression that she felt I was slightly mad. But don't worry about me doing anything rash. I won't even have to confront my ex for another year so I'm pretty good.

Technically this should be is my boyfriend over-reacting since he's making more of a production on YIM than I ever could. Okay so since yesturday morning my daughter has been with people she hasn't seen since May '07 who don't have a very high opinion of me. And no it's not a result of bad parenting it's that her father finally lowered himself to bring himself and his family up here to New York from Texas before he goes back to Iraq. (Okay yes I don't have a very high opinion of my ex husband or his wife, but some of you know why) Anyway since about 8:15AM EST I hadn't heard anything from my four year old and neither had my parents. Then about 8pm tonight I hear the opening of Golden Sky before my bluetooth kicks in and it's my daughter's step-mom with her chirpy 'Hi it's blah blah blah. And she says that my daughter was having some trouble getting settled and missed me so they decided to let her call me and talk to me. Which she did... I talked to my daughter for like two minutes tops before her step-mom took the phone away then got a little odd when I asked what she'd done today and yesturday (I tried to ask my daughter, but I think the phone was taken from her when she was talking because as a 4 year old my daughter likes to wave the phone around while she talks) She mentioned a family portrait being done. Then she got all weird on me for wanting to talk to my daughter again, she finally sighed, said okay then put her on for like another minute then informed me that she was getting sleepy. So now I'm a little upset that this woman made this big deal about her and my ex letting my daughter call me then only allowed my daughter to talk to me for a short amount of time. She also made some big deal about friends from Ft. Drum then the 'Family Portrait (which could be why my daughter needed dark blue jeans and a black shirt- that's a long story which involves a bit of speculation) and gets upset when I ask to speak to my daughter since I won't see her until Friday morning because when they drop her off tomorrow evening I'll be at work. I told my boyfriend and he was all up in arms about how she was acting strange and wanted to know what I thought about it. I just don't want to make a big deal out of everything because I already know that there will be another court date next year over visitation since he hasn't fulfilled his part of the visitation from the court order but expects our daughter to come visit him in Texas next year after he's been in Iraq for a year and I don't want to keep nit picking at everything like they do. (There's an incident where my daughter told her father that her baby sitter didn't have soap and he started telling my mom that she should call the state about that:rolleyes:) So questions, opinions? Do you need clarification? Because I'm just confused right now and it's only minute conservation on my mobile that keeps me from calling back and demanding to talk to my daughter. Fastidious spelling snobs pushed over the edge

I get mad at my boyfriend (he's been on here are few times as SpyLR- you can tell his posts by the bad spelling and lack of capitalization) when we IM because he figures since it's not professional it doesn't matter. But it matters to me. I'm kinda crazy on it at times (althought my punctuation is lacking at times too) But I would never go so far as to deface a sign (I save my defacing for the light tower at the end of pier one at Charlotte beach just like everyone else in Rochester. And I use my best spelling) I do think that bad spelling and grammar are annoying though. I go through people's stories on fanfiction.net and critique the grammar and spelling and word usage. Damn do some of them whine about me doing that! -
I just want to say: Thank God I'm an American. We're a tad too conservative to try doing that to the stars and stripes. While I am with the whole: Keep your dog on your propert movement (and it can get hard= especially if your dog jumps the fence like some larger dogs do) I would say to keep an eye on the dog and the kids. Especially since this seems like one of those angry for no reason guys. They're not much fun. I've nothing else to add except I really would be careful around the guy if this is an on-going thing. If it escalates further it is definately a threat.
I choose my parent's and since we've changed services (from Virgin Mobile to Verizon) they have had the WORST ringtones ever.
Yeah, I have Verizon too. And while their service is much better than my old one (I had T-mobile and I have never dropped so many calls or not been able to get service in so many places. ) I don't care much for their ring tones. But I didn't buy the phone service for the ring tones, I bought it because it's the only mobile phone service with a calling plan that includes Canada. Plus I get 20% off my phone bills and 25% off of acessories thanks to my per-diem job. I guess Tellus (a Canadian phone company) isn't that bad. Except I sent my friend the file of Final Fantasy Fanfare and even though she can save it to her phone she can't set it as her ringtone (for everyone) so now she just plays the opening for fun and annoyance.

Feeding, nappies... and PlayStation
I didn't read the whole thread, but I'm very surprised that this is considered surprising. A lot of very young, very pregnant girls go to my school, and when i lived inner-city in 9th grade half of my damn class was pregnant. It's pretty common these days... sadly.
It does sound crazy for me. Okay so when I was in high school there was one girl who was pregnant during our senior year and my best friend's sister was also pregnant her senior year. But again this was senior year and no one was that young. Also I went to school in the suburbs and it wasn't that common. Here in my neighborhood and in other towns near where I live it's not that common. So that's why it's shocking to me. -
Well I went out over the weekend and bought some new manga to add to my collection. 1.) Ceres the Celestial Legend Volumes one and two (Japan will either be happy or jealous now) Part of the reason I bought these was because they were 2$ each! Sadly when I got home I got to reading book two and found that due to a printing error it ends at page 64 then goes from page 131 back to page 106 then to the end. So now I have to go buy a new copy of it. Onemanga just doesn't cut it. 2.) Mars prequel Horse with no name This was just an extra edition to the Mars series and I decided I had to have it. It also includes two bonus short stories which are very nice as well. Plus the fact that it was a 5$ manga didn't hurt either 3.) Mars volume 14 Yes I'm still missing most of the books. But this was at a small comic store with a very small manga selection in a small town posing as a city. I was helping to boost local economy and it's really hard to find the manga in the first place. Also Japan, from what I remember Instant Teen is about this girl who just wants to be older. She does so by getting these nuts from I forgot where and they make her older. I did see volume 5 where I bought my discount manga, but since I haven't read 1 or 2 in a while I didn't bother. I really need to finish up with Peach Girl and also have Sae's story as well. Maybe I can luck out and get those in soon.

First off I would like to thank everyone who's replied so far, thanks these have been interesting to read. I had to do laundry today, so here's what else I found under my bed:

Spoons
A bowl
a bra
more socks
stickers still on the paper
empty sticker pack
one of my knitted bracelets from Christmas
Doll shoes.
A hanger
I've nothing else good under there. But I am curious about the ones who have refridgerators under their beds. In college all I could stick under my bed was my storage container. I had off campus housing so I had a very small 2 bedroom apartment with my own room.

I'm blaming Chibi for this one after an IM about year old pop tarts. Ye\s, year old pop tarts- they're having a birthday next week. Curiosity has over taken me as I ask. What is under your bed. And like the what is in your pants thread, no mundane lists. As for myself:

Two collapsable back clothes bins filled with my summer clothes (I've a small dresser and a lot of clothes
The rug (because you can't have people under there)
Dust (I can't get a vacuum under there)
probably a sock or three (I haven't looked lately)
Barbie clothes (my daughter confuses my room with hers and leaves stuff there)
Lord knows there could be more. But I'm still having the conversation with Chibi about not eatting things found under her bead and I'm on the phone. So reply and I'll add more when I see it.
I don't need an excuse to dislike boys (Let me guess, you're a boy?). Plus, not liking them means I won't be screwing around and getting pregnant with one.
Hey Chibi I have something to tell you: Sex is bad, child birth is worse! Finally! America is not the most screwed up nation! Wee!:animeswea That said I would love to know what they're teaching in those schools where a thirteen year old is becoming a parent along with a fifteen year old and the both of them look like a brother and sister act gone horridly wrong (his mum looks like she's had too many rough nights with a bottle, but that's only my opinion.) Seriously did it not occure to the parents that maybe they should check up on the kids and explain about sex? Yeah I'm stunned and my thoughts aren't making much sense. I do appologize. But why instead of putting a strain on the government and putting their education in jeopardy why don't the parents try to help the kids put the baby (who looks to be about the size of dad) up for adoption. I'm sure there are pleanty of families in the UK waiting to adopt a baby and it'd be in much better hands than with these kids. -
Well first off I got my Final Fantasy ringtone off of phonezoo.com. I'm going to load Sleeping Beauty soon and use that in case work calls me. After that I love the V-Cast feature on my Verizone phone- it can figure out most song ID's (except it hasn't worked on a few InuYAsha songs, a song from FMA and most songs from the Winx Power Show in Italy Sadly it costs money to load the songs, so I don't think I'll have This is My Land by Dido any time soon. Finally Boo. Where did you get the Underwear song? If I had that I'd set it as my voice mail alert, let everything go to voicemail then leave the alerts on for every fifteen seconds.

My car has over 1,000,000 miles and since in the past I've relied on it heavily to get around for my job (and driving cross country, and across the state) I am obsessive when it comes to care and only take it to the Monroe Muffler on Stone Rd the next town over or to the mechanic that goes to my church. I've only twice in the past five years (the vehicle is six years old and will be replaced next year) had to go to other mechanics. Once was because I was out near Albany and needed new tires to get home and the other was because I simply didn't feel like driving. The Walmart near Albany was okay since it was just tires. But the Monroe Muffler near my house was not too good. The guy fixed my horn but then it started going off at 2am. So I disconnected the wire and he told me that I needed a new system for 800$ that couldn't be guaranteed. So now my horn is broken again so watch for the fingers.

If this is in the wrong forum I'm sorry for the inconvienience (which I can't spell ). But I just got my new mobile (it's purple!) and have been downloading some songs for ring tones on to it. I've even assigned ring tones for some friends. So I'm wondering if I'm alone in being this odd and if anyone else has fun ring tones. Anyways here are mine. I'll even explain why I picked them. 1.) Halo Theme Heavy Metal version for my boyfriend. Well what he says is that being a hero is great but being a super hero is even better. I just thought that at least I'd know that it was my phone ringing. Actually that's why I've downloaded a few ring tones. BUt never use this for your mobile alarm unless you want to be jarred awake. 2.) Final Fantasy Fanfare for my friend Angel. She likes the song and the game and since she decided that Shut Up and Drive by Rhianna is my ring tone I decided to give her a personalized one as well. 3.) Honey Punch for my friend Tom. The main reason for this is because it's from a band he likes. Plus it's a DDR song and he likes DDR. My default ring tone is Golden Sky by Smile (Don't laugh, at least I know it's my phone), but I'm working on getting Love or Take Me As I Am by Sugarland as the new ring tone. I'm also thinking of loading 41 or Superman by DMB for my friend Lisa. So there you have it, any contributions?

But it's probably not the best idea anyone has ever had. Like everyone else I don't have pockets right now and like many women I don't keep much in my pockets. But when I do here's what I have in my pants:

Lint
Surgical gloves
a walkie
a dollar (Because people steal from lockers)
various creams and powders depending on when I'm done
But I only have things in my pants when I'm at work.
