Let's see... The InuYasha Cast InuYasha-I'll try really reall hard not to make Kagome cry. Kouga-I'll finally make Kagome my woman Kagome-I'll try to pass all my exams and get into the high school of my choice while looking for the rest of the shards of the shikon no tama. Buyo-Nyan nyan (trans. I'll eat more tuna and less chicken livers) KikyoIf I ever die again, I'll make sure I'm put in an unmarked grave. Yes, I'm morbid, sorry! -
Originally posted by satan665 Weird though that most of my gf's names have started with J, including 2 Jill's....
I had almost the same thing, only with guys, and their names didn't all start with the same letter. But, the letters were close. Two Justins (One is my husband's best friend) Two Matts (One was my husband's friend, but certain activities caused him to lose this friendship) One Kevin One Joey And of course, Lincoln! I had, J,K,L, and M That was fun. Now I'm off to play Scrabble. :rotflmao:

Have you Role Played Before?
Originally posted by Swordsaint my first character died, his head was torn of by an ogre i ended up ticking off (I called him cruel and nasty names.) then the ogre proceeded to set my head on fire and play baseball with it (our DM was stoned at the time.) It was pretty wierd.
My husband is one screwed up Game master (DM is the same thing right?) He was really pissed at this one guy once and decided to take it out on his character. The dude's character almost got killed off, lost all his charisma and charm And had to rest for a while. Even better, the guy was a 10th gen vampire who got his butt whopped by a goul!. My friend's husband was even worse, he'd kill off the dude's character if the guy wasn't playing nice. Anyone else have any good Story master/Game master stories? -
The 'Sex Bracelet' Controversy?
ChibiHorsewoman replied to Queen Asuka's topic in General Discussion
This makes me very proud to be part of the adult world. Morally corrupted tho it may be at times. Jelly bracelets? What are those things anyway and who would decide to believe something as ridiculous as the fact that if someone breaks a black bracelet you have to have sex with that person? Why black? Why not puce, or burgundy? Of course, if that is the case that you have to sleep with so and so, where can I get one for my husband? -
Originally posted by Baron Samedi I don't know why everyone disses Bush so much... isn't that kind of like the irrational hatred of Britney Spears? I mean, he has made bad decisions. But it isn't his sole responsibility, it comes from his advisors as well. Give him a break- as Drix said everyone is a critic, and I'd like to see you running the country. B]
Which is precisely why I'm leaving my thoughts and feelings about the current leader of the US out of this thread (for now) since most people hopefully already know my veiws on those matters. Although mine aren't completely mindless. I think looking for a person with ethics who participates in politics is like trying to find the proverbial needle in the haystack, You know there's one in there, it's just a biyatch to find! A utopian society (as Baron also mentioned) is a great idea, but that's all it is, an idea. It's like those Walgreen's commercials talking about a place called Perfect. It just doesn't exist and it would be pointless to try since everyone has their own ideas about government policy. There I've added more fuel for the masses, I hope that it's used accordingly:nervous:

A touching song that I really like is called: Christmas Shoes- I also can't remember who sang it (yeah, this is a great example Meg *kicks herself*) But it's been sang by a few people, so I have an excuse! Another one is very country (surprise, surprise) called: LeRoy the Redneck Reindeer-basically a song about Rudolf's country cousin who fills in for the red nosed deer. Yes, I've very classy, I also like the Redneck 12 days of x-mas!

I'm a country girl stuck in suburbia. Well, not completely country. I love to listen to all types of music atleast once-some only once for about oh, 3 seconds before I have a sudden urge to chuck it out the window. I once had to listen to Insane Clown Posse from my cousin's farm to my parents house. a good hour drive. If that was my car, it wouldn't have happened for that long. But it was his car, so I let live. I've said before, I can't stand Mason. His voice is like cats in a blender. And I have heard cats in a blender, not pretty. My husband likes Mason and has all the guy's albums, he even burned them to MP3 format. However, we both like Rush, Godsmack, Pennywise, Good Charlotte, New Found Glory (I heard them @ RIT in 2001) Atari and Deadsy. I can tolerate Sevendust. But still, my favorite genre of music is country, I can listen to it all day. One of my favorite songs ever is When God Fearin' Women Get the Blues by Martina McBride. I heard her in concert back in 2001 when she opened for Reba McIntyre's Girl's Night Out Tour. That rocked! My final word, listen to what ever music moves your soul

I like to run down pedestrians and bury them in my backyard. They make great fertilizer :rotflmao: I belt out songs in the shower not caring who hears me. I have a bad habit of starting things and never finishing them. And I love to have meaningless and meaningful arguments with people about everything. I really hate when they take it the wrong way tho. My husband doesn't mind tho, we have argued about the Army not letting their soldiers color coordinate their hair with their uniforms. Personaly, I think it's a great idea, he thinks that green is enough.
Originally posted by Swordsaint And for people trying out RPG's for the first time, yes it may look/be confusing at first, but give it a few sessions, and it starts to click, usually. Good Luck!
I got lucky, my first RPG was at my house my husband was the game master and a mutual friend of ours was co-game master since he had both age and experiance. They both agreed that I could have really high points (is that the correct term?) for common sense. and that since it was my first time if I started to do something stupid, Lincoln could ask me if it was what I really wanted to do. It was a bit confusing and I was the only female there (aside from the cat). It did start to click after a while. But then everyone started to get gate guard and deployment. Hey, that's what happens when you game with the military. Almost forgot, I did try to do an online RPG on TAATN once, but it fell apart with too many people and no story line. My husband once RPed (Terra's right that does sound bad) a knight at his friend's house. The couple's chiuaua (my friend is this guy's wife BTW) ended up playing the part of his character's noble stead :rotflmao:. The thing that really turns me off about RPG people is when they take the game too seriously I mean, when you've got kids to watch and feed at the same time you're playing, that takes precedence over the game. -
Originally posted by Leh That's because most Presidents have been involved with politics earlier, before they actually became President - which is why they're rich, and why they're elected - because [most - excluding Bush] know what they were/are doing.
What about Abraham Lincoln. This man came from a humble background Abe Lincoln's first job was a store clerk and he taught himself to read. Okay, so maybe most of the presidents in this day and age got into politics because their daddies were in politics, but that just proves that their daddies had time on their hands. As for having a black president or a woman president, that person would more likely than not still be Christian. WHich is not a bad thing, some of my closest friends are Christians, but maybe the fact that the person is a minority would change some of the policies. As for the gay president not bloody likely. We'll have to have a female pope in Rome first. Sorry I'm for gay rights, just not bloody optomistic at this point and time. Edit-For all the talking I do, I should really spell-check myself more often!

Okay, my first kiss? There are few different catergories I can put them into. I was a really bad little girl, my first kiss just to see what it was all about was with this one girl's brother. We were playing truth or dare and I chose dare, so she told me to kiss her brother. I was like duck no (only I spelled duck with an 'f') so she made it a double dare and I had to do it. I was eight! First kiss with some guy I was going out with...eww, do I have to say this? Okay, fine-I was fifteen, and I think the guy was trying to remove my tonsils. Not fun not fun at all. First meaningful kiss-I always cancel boyfriends out when i get a new one, so my first meaningful kiss was definately with...Lincoln. He's a damn good kisser too, I don't have to worry about him removing my tonsils or that he is going to slobber me. But yes, I started early-and not on a pillow like some people. :rotflmao: PS, I do know what sarcasm is, so don't try to explain it again

I'm listening to Walking in Memphis by LoneStar right now. Very cool song. I love hearing it, and I really want the cd. As you may have guessed, I'm a bit of a country fan so I'm listening to the local country station because my CD player is in TX and the old thing from my father-in-law doesn't play CD-Rs or CD-RWs. The thing's so old it has a CD player and a turn table and stands about 4ft tall. The speakers kick @$$ tho so I can't complain too much.

Let me get this straight, I'm at more risk getting injured when I golf than when I take it in my head to rock climb?? NEAT! Well, that was cool, time for me to think about my riding lesson tomorrow

Anime What's your favorite anime quote?
ChibiHorsewoman replied to ElrickOtaku's topic in Otaku Central
Originally posted by Kyo no Ryu "ITS THE CLIMAX!" The alien girl screamed before attepting to pound the crap out of Noata. SUch a great ending line. The way she said it all evily was cool.
You could take that quote so far out of contex and it would still be funny. *pulls mind out of the gutter* I could still find more quotes how about: Kino Makoto from Sailor Moon Her best one was when all five of the inners were trying to be SNow White in an episode of Sailor Moon R. She says-I have the largest breasts. Well, DiC changed that to 'I have the most talent.' Keep reaching for your dreams Mako-chan! Gourry from Slayers Has some very funny lines. My favorite from him is when he first meets Lina: I thought I was saving a luscious damsel in distress, not some flat chested kid. Mihoshi fromTenchi MuyoI think this is from the OAV, but her best are:- We Did it, we caught a real live bad guy! And-Don't move, because if you move I'll shoot and if you shoot it'll really hurt. Speaking of Tenchi Muyo Who can forget Tenchi's dad? With quotes like- Are you becoming a juvenial delinquent and Stop complaining, remember, you should always put off for tomorrow what you can do today! you know he has to be here! -
You know what I'm talking about right? Well, duh, you looked at the post so you have some kind of idea. Slayers, the anime with the klepto Sourceress, Lina Inverse and the mercenery, Gourry who's intellect rivals that of rocks? Does anyone besides me watch this and if so, what do you think about it? Personally, I find it funny. Especially with the remarks about Lina's height and chest. The girl has an appetite that rivals Tsukino Usagi! I got interested in it after someone mentioned it to me in the library at FLCC. Of course, the guy had no idea what he was talking about because he said Slayers was about vampire slayers. Okay that was way off. So, that's me.

Anime Dating Anime Characters: Would You?
ChibiHorsewoman replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in Otaku Central
What about Aki Mikage from Ayashi no Ceres? Yeah, he's cute, but he'd probably leave me for his SISTER no thank you ma'am! Prince Demando of sailormoon is another one. Always mooning over Neo queen Serenity. How pathetic! I think I'd have to shoot him. Last, but not least, how about Ferio from Rayearth? I don't know where I stand between the odd looking scar and the green hair. And that sword he probably sleeps with that sword! -
Thankfully, I've been out of high school for almost five years and out of college for three. I don't really remember what a prep is or was or ever will be. I attended a private Catholic school from preschool to my graduation day and we all wore the same uniform with the exception of the color of our shirts. So maybe that classifies me as a prep? I think it's both stupid and narrow minded to hate someone based on a clique or what school they attended. If you do that why don't you just hate someone for what clothes they wear and what their sexual preference is? It's the same thing isn't it? Putting people in boxes is what leads to missunderstandings and violence. It's counter productive. When you get out of school, college and university included, you begin to broaden your horizons and not give a flying monkey's behind what the person looks like. Yes some immature people may still try to have cliquey work zones, but those are the sad people who thought of high school as their whole life and the rest of their co-workers greive for them accordingly. That said, I think most 'preps' are like everyone else. Just a bit odder at times, but aren't we all? LoVe AnD pEaCe!

*thinks drix needs a nap*
originally posted by Hells FireThe only games that I like for stratedy are Chess and checkers and every gambling card game
I'm pretty good at Checkers. I beat everyone in that *gloats* as for Chess, Lincoln keeps saying he'll teach me but something always comes up, like FTX, or CQ or Iraq ::P:. I don't know if I could figure that out. Gambling card games, well, stay out of Vegas, that's all I have to say. Does anyone know any good drinking games?(those of us who are old enough to drink that is) My friends and I turned slap Jack into a drinking game and I kept losing so bad that well...it wasn't pretty. Oh, you know what else is a good game? MadGab. I don't quite know how to explain that one tho. -
Originally posted by Arcadia I don't do any extreme sports because I love my body too much, but they're fun to watch. For awhile my brother couldn't be found without his skateboard, and now he's got a trick bike that he rides everywhere. He's also had stitches everywhere, and he's done a lot of stupid stuff that makes me want to smack him. And that, my friends, is why parents freak out - it's the safety issue. The last thing they want you to do is ride your bike into a lake and or into a parked car (yeah, my brother did that) because you were "goofing off," pulling stunts, and not paying attention. Granted, not everyone does that - my brother is just an idiot. But give your parents a break. They're just worried.
I feel the same way Arcadia. That and I have a strong averson to broken bones. My cousin does ice hockey, roller hockey and BMX biking and he's broken his left arm twice, and had stitches all over the place. He looks like that doll girl in Nightmare before Christmas in a family photo. It's down right disturbing to look at him. And he doesn't stop. He has a little ramp area set up in his driveway during the summer. But still my aunt doesn't mind when he does it. I guess she's just glad that he's active especially since so many kids are over weight these days.
Originally posted by Conna_da_fox Lol, I like your little story Katana. ^^ But about what that boy said.... I heard to much of it. I don't like to be belittled by boys just because I am a girl. At my school, however, I have proved that girl can do the same things and do just as well at them as boys. I'm rather violent when someone pisses me off, so normally people know when to stay away. :P I do just as well in sports to, and frankly.... I'm a terrible cook and cleaner. Lol, so I would never be able to live with a man I guess. Or so they think. All I heard that we are good at or meant to only do are things such as keeping tidy and cooking. Heh, I'm terrible at having a clean space... I hate a really clean spot. Plus, they say all girls take an hour or more to get ready in the morning. NOT TRUE! I take a total of about five minutes. I don't like make-up.... it's evil, never use it. I'm not trying to say that women are better than men, it's just they don't normally think of our feelings or how they should treat us. They belittle our gender to much. They think we cannot do the same things as them, but we can. Also, as I said before, men cannot do some things that women can do and women cannot do somethings men can. So really we are equal, because for what a certain gender cannot do, the other one can. So really, no one is superior. True, women may be the source of life, but if it weren't for men, they couln't make life. We all play a valuable part to life and all I ever wanted was a little gratitude. It's like whenever we do something, we are barely ever thanked. Most men have always treated me like I was just something there and I didn't matter and I hate that. I would rather us live more together and help eachother and stop battling over what gender is better. Because we are smart enough to know that both genders are needed on the same amount. That's really how I feel about that.
That basically sums up my near life in a nutshell. Of course, I ended up married to a man who can cook and clean better than me, but I do the laundry and help with grocery shopping because I'm better at those things than he is. But who says you really have to get married? You can live a completely productive life without having to commit yourself to one person. Of course, I suck in most sports, but my husband doesn't know a stirrup from a billet strap on a saddle and I do alot of jumping and dressage. I wear make-up, but I only take about 10-fifteen minutes outting it on. and the lipgloss can be applied in the car. We're all equal tho, I don't understand why we keep going thru this day after day, year after year, century after century. Okay, I still want Lincoln to get pregnant with me, but that's such a dream!
Originally posted by snakemarcato13 love is a rediculus desire, one that does in fact cause madness and insanity. thus the reason for my world of deception that will soon take effect. i will forever hate love and those possessing it. that is the way of things...
Okay kid, first of all, your grammar is deplorable. You see the shift key by your left hand? Use it, the shift key is your friend. Ooh, so you hate people who are in love, jealous much? Or maybe just another jaded youth. Goddess, I'm glad I'm not young anymore. I think love in itsself is a confusing emotion and there's no way of describing it. Love can burn you until you can't feel pain. Love can tear you in two and then sew you back up. Love can make you turn your back on everything but that one person. Love can leave you cold. That's my take on this subject. I'm sorry that I don't know anything else.

Well, it's that time of the year again. The radio stations are playing Christmas songs And you're struggling not to go over there and shove Holly and Ivy up the DJ's rearends. Or at the very least, your parent's who keep listening to to Soft Rock station that won't even play the 10 things at Christmas that are such a pain to me but anyway. That's not the point of this thread. I'm just wondering what are some of your favorite holiday songs that make this time of the year more bearable? Oh, and why. Mine are: Where are You Christmas By Faith Hill-It's a sweet song from How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Faith has a pretty voice too Osama Got Run over by a Reindeer-Catchy short and funny. I got it sent to me in an Email back in 2001 and haven't forgot it yet. Oh Holy Night-Yes, it's religious and Christian and everything, but I love the Melody of it. I even had to sing it once when I was in choir. I have to say, I was quite impressed with myself. and Finally-I want a Hippopotimus for Christmas-Well, who doesn't want one of those for Christmas. And it's so catchy. *starts singing*

I was listening to Beer For my Horses. But now I'm stuck listening to a commercial. The  for my horses song is funny. I don't know what would happen if you did give a horse beer tho. Of course, I'm not about to try it either. This song always makes me sing tho.

ChibiHorsewoman replied to Artemis's topic in General Discussion
I've never played Risk. I almost played it once, but my friend's husband got preoccupied with his computer so he and my husband ended up playing some online RPG. One of my favorite boardgames is Tri-Bond where you try to figure out what three things have in common> For example: InuYasha Ferio Wufei Now obviously, they're all anime guys, but one is Hanyou, another has green hair and the last one talks about injustice. But all three have swords, so that's what they have in common. I'm good in this and kick EVERYONE'S BUTT! I'm also a Candy Land pro!
