Put Down That Sea Kitten You Monster!
ChibiHorsewoman replied to Raiha's topic in General Discussion
Not exactly what you were looking for Gavin, but I found it: Drop that sea kitten now! Go on PETA, tell that Grizzly to become a vegan, I dare you. (Okay yes, I know bears are omnivores like most humans. But still I couldn't resist. And really SEA kitten? Doesn't PETA realize that there are fish in streams, brooks, rivers and lakes as well? Or do they only care about the fish in the sea? Oops, I'm sorry KITTENS! -
Anyways, someone who I think is very douchey... hmm... Well, because I was reminded of him by the Flavor Flav pics, I'd have to put Lil Wayne close to the top of my list. For God's sakes he is a blatant rip off of the already lame Flav' and is super famous for a song entitled "Lollipop" which not only unsubtly uses the word hump (seriously, is he even trying?) but also utilizes the ever eloquent "lovely lady lumps." This is all ignoring the fact that the song is another not so subtle reference to.. well. Come on. Lollipop. The opening line is something like "He's so sweet, I want to lick the rapper." Wow. WOW. I'm sure you all get it. And if you don't... well, I'll tell you when you're older. Or maybe never. This is my "watching any of Lil Wayne's music videos or listening to any of his music" face.
I second the nomination of Lil Wayne because he has cancelled two Rochester concerts and I guess the tickets aren't that cheap. A lot of my co-workers tried to buy tickets and he's made 2 concellatoons and no promises.
There is no douche in the world like Bill O'Reilly... Has anyone here ever watched his talk show on Fox News? Mann, I'd like to punch that guy in the face for his one-sided views. The other douche, of course, might have to be Bin Laden. I think we all know why.
Yeah, but Bin Laden is such a given... actually for that matter so is Bill O'Reilly. Hey what about George W.? He's a rather nifty candidate for douchedom. Okay maybe he's another obvious choice. But really look at the guy, the country's in the crapper because he didn't act fast enought. Okay while I'm on the subject of country leaders I'd like to add Stephen Harper Prime Minister of Canada to this list. The guy is being a total wanker. He's tried go over parliment in every ruling and even his own party wants him impeached (I think they do that in Canada) Thankfully his days of kissing Bush's butt are over day after tomorrow.

What statement are you trying to make? That clock supposed to remind you when it's hammertime or what? And that ridiculous oversized bling, ugh. You think it makes you look Gangsta? You think you look dope? No. You look like a moron. Now get off my TV. And tell me who gave you a show so I can slap them with a trout.
Hey! How dare you threaten to use a Sea kitten to smack someone with?! I'm alerting PETA That said the reason Flavor Flav has that giant clock is because he's compensating for something. As for biggest douche ever... who was that actor who was married to that one actress then he got her pregnant and left her? That's a douche right there.
everyday it's a warzone round here. *Me watching Rurouni Kenshin *laughs* * Mum: You're watching this AGAIN!!! GIANT MOAN OF ANNOYANCE just because i draw anime and 24/7 obssesed with anime+Sasuke and Kenshin *sigh* i TRY to be normal *blinks innocently* I hide all my anime stuff ... and don't talk about anime... much. Oh yeah, I have big problems with my parents with anime though mostly with my mum. :)
I hate to be the pin to pop your balloon, but your mom is right. You should finish your homework before you sit down to watch your shows. Also telling your mom to go away because you don't like what she's saying is disrespectful and rude. IF you were my kid speaking to me that way I'd kindly remind you that I gave you life and I can take it away. And have you considered that maybe the reason you have an issue with your parents and anime is because you do have an obsession with it? Perhaps it's messing with your grades or something? Really you're like 13 or 14 years old, how on Earth do you think you get the money to buy your anime and manga. I don't have much knowledge about the UK, but I'm pretty sure your work laws are the same as ours. Your parents obviously give you the money as allowance or something so the least you could do is be respectful to them and maybe realize that you could cut back.

Anime If you were stranded on a deserted island....
ChibiHorsewoman replied to a topic in Otaku Central
Okay I've watched more anime so I can decide to bring more people. Or just not get stuck with them at all. I wouldn't mind being stuck with Hunny from Ouran Host Club first and foremost this character would be good to have because Hunny always comes with Mori Sempai and I have a mature not too fangirlish 2-demensional crush on Mori. So if Hunny was with me Mori would be with me. Tu capiche? Second Hunny is very good at karate and survival skills. This means that even though he'd complain about not having cake he'd be able to do something about it. Third and finally Hunny is filthy stinkin' rich so if he got lost there would most definately without a doubt be an all out search for him- which means that if I was with HUnny (and MOri) I'd be rescued quickly too. :animesmil Renyae (can't remember how to spell it correctly) also from Ouran Host Club is someone who I would not want to be stuck in a large office building with let alone a desert island. She's quite the hyper fan girl and even if she is rich and people would be looking for her they'd never find her since I'd've buried her in the sand hours after we got there. She'd be talking about how this scene would fit into such and such a manga or anime and how I fit this type of chracter then poof... I'd bury her in the sand and walk away. Gluttony from Full Metal Alchemist is another character not to be stranded with. Mostly for the pure fact that the guy would eat you. Yes, that would probably end badly. However Maes Hughes also from Full Metal Alchemist would be okay to be stuck with- provided that we both had pictures of our daughters. Shoot I bet we could go for months compairing our daughters and showing pictures and saying whose daughter is better and we'd never get tired of it. Then finally when we get bored we can FINALLY get off the ruddy island but I just don't know how. And finally Col. Roy Mustang would at least be interesting. He could try to order me about then I could ask him if I looked like a dog of the military. And when we got really bored before we decide to stop arguing and figure out how to get off the island (probably by sending flares from his gloves after they dry off) I can say: Col. Mustang you are a can of spam and ask him about his mini skirt army til he cracks. -
Put Down That Sea Kitten You Monster!
ChibiHorsewoman replied to Raiha's topic in General Discussion
Sea Kittens... nope that still looked and tasted like salmon to me. ANd has it occured to anyone in PETA that you usually just chop the fish's head off with one whack? Seriously though I can go without eatting meat for a while by choice and eatting too much red meat is bad for you. But fish is healthy and has omega 3 fatty acids and all that good stuff. If you want to be vegan or a regular vegatarian fine. But please respect the fact that I don't eat fake meat- the occasional tofu stir fry but not a lot of fake meat. I respect that not everyone wants to eat something different and heck sometimes instead of cereal I have jasmine rice for breakfast- it's actually pretty good. But you can't force people to just eat vegatables and no animal bi-products. I'm quite sure PETA is against eatting eggs and thinks that milking a cow or goat is cruel to the animal. In effect the opposite is true cows udders can get gengrene when not milked constantly because of bacteria. But hey they already want to ban horse riding because the horse doesn't come when called- but hey my kid doesn't come when called either so should we ban parenthood too? I don't see what PETA hopes to accomplish with re-naming everything. A few years ago- I think it was when I was in College- PETA wanted to try to rename the town of Fishkill New York Fish save. This is ridiculous and proof that these people really don't do their research because a kill is Dutch for a stream or river and since Eastern New York state was settled by the Dutch and that's how most of the towns (Rensselear, Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Schenectedy anyone?) got their names it makes sense that there would have been towns with Kill in the name. What would be next? Can we change the Catskill mountains to the Cat Save mountains? Frankly PETA just gets on my nerves. I can respect that they want to protect animals, but we already have the ASPCA for that thank you. As for the OB being conservative- that may be so. But if that's the case then we're conservative in a Canadian stand point not an American one because the conservative Canadian parties are more liberal than the American liberal parties. I personally like to think that here on the OB we're more of a moderate bunch of people. But I also like to think that I can survive on three hours of sleep to get through a nine hour work day. Senility anyone? -
Senator John Edwards for the win! I mean the man cheated on his wife while she was in chemo for Breast cancer. You don't get any more Douchier (is that a word? Hmm, well we'll just remove sin and make it one) than that. In the words of a former patient: I wouldn't vote that man for Dog Catcher. And to make matters worse he lied about the whole thing and doesn't think he did anything wrong. Okay another nominee just so it looks like I'm making some effort in this post would be my very own former govenor of New York Elliot Spitzer. The man campaigned against prostitution then cheerfully cheated on his wife with a 80k$ call girl. And there's still debate as to whether or not it was tax payer's money. And just so you all know, I'm not too keen on the current NY govenor David Patterson because all he wants to do is tax the middle class even more and drive me out of my home state faster than what I was planning on. But I'll have to get back to you on whether or not he's a douche.

Wow this is an old thread. I think this thread is officially older than my daughter! Fun. Well my parents really don't like me watching Cartoons in general Japanese or otherwise. BUt that's the great thing about being an adult, your parents really don't have much say in the matter. Wait, I said that a few years ago. One of the cool things about my cartoon interests is that I've made a lot of new friends that way and have improved my writing skills. Though not by much.

Anime Cartoon Network Line-Ups...and anime on television announcements
ChibiHorsewoman replied to Syk3's topic in Otaku Central
The biggest load of garbage is putting Inuyasha on in it's place. Are you kidding me? This is what, the 20th time it's been on? Are people really watching Inuyasha over and over again?
I was putting it on DVR because I missed everything after the whole Tsubaki mini series and my ex took my DVDs (alot of anime DVDs) in the divorce. But now I'm kinda ticked because two weeks ago they aired Kagome's Instinctive choice and then the Toad that would be Prince.... they're regurgitating the 1st season again. And I never get up at 5AM or 5:30 to watch anything. Maybe they should just air the movies and get it done with. What no one on here has mentioned is that FMA is being aired again. At one point it was in a 1AM time slot (this was last year when my friend got me into it) then they brought it back at 3AM (and I have DVR so I can watch it at my convenience :animesmil) now it's on at 2:30AM- which is only slightly more convenient. IMHO AS and CN have to put some decent anime in a time block from about 9pm-1AM then air all the other crap (AKA Crayon Shin Chan and like everything else) so I can watch it. Oh yeah, and the Naruto movie about that stone is on again tonight at 9pm. I don't know if I want to put it on my DVR or not. I've been so busy lately I still have eps of Ugly Betty and Grey's Anatomy I haven't watched yet. -
Sounds like a good idea Time and date- refer to the time stamp please. Current user name- Chibi Horsewoman Real name Megan or Meg Member since- November (?) 2003 so I've been properly annoying most of you all over five years Current location- Mom's office in Western New York State Age- 27 Where I plan to be by October 10th of next year- It's a long shot that it'll happen before 2011, but I should be at least getting ready to move to the Greater Seattle Area (May God be kind and keep me out of California!) with my daughter and boyfriend. (Boyfriend's Location is Kelowna BC) Ookay so what to say here? I've not much to say on the OB since I don't congregate here as much as I used to. I guess I'll just blather on about myself until I find if I can say something about the OB. Well at this time I'm trying to get to the gym as much as I can with a co-worker of mine because I've been chubby most of my life and I want to lose some weight and not be a fat bride or fat whatever for the rest of my life. It's not fun. I work for Clare Bridge of Perinton an affiliate of Brookdale Senior Living for elderly residents with Alzheimers and dimensia. And tonight was not too fun because one resident was pooping everywhere but her toilet. Also one of my co-workers is pregnant so she's being an all out ... eh you know to me. And that's my full time job. I'm about to start working at Wolk Manor an affiliate of The Jewish Home of Rochester as a Resident Associate Per Diem. I enjoy working with the elderly even if some of the experiances are less than enjoyable. Let's see, as many of you all know I have a four year old girl, she'll be five this year. So she may or may not be starting school depending on how the rest of her pre school stuff pans out. She's doing pretty good. Ooh man she's silly, and adorable, my boyfriend wants to adopt her (He can't though because her father is still alive... we totally won't get into that. ) and most of my friends at least want to borrow her. Whew what else? Hmm, I do want to get married again and have at least two more kids. I haven't decided on names yet, but I do know if one is a boy the poor thing will have to go through life as Harvey Gerald... I hope CPS doesn't go after me for that one.:animeswea But that's my boyfriend's idea not mine. He's 3 years younger than me and sentimental. He's also a college student. I'm a horrid artist, but I still try to do it sometimes. BUt not recently. And I sing badly too. Hmm, guess I can say a bit on the OB. I've been here for five years, it's been quite sporadic the past few years, in one instance that is probably deleted my ex-husband posted on here blaming me for his infedelity. That was priceless. I've frequented mainly the lounge and the anime/manga forum. Sometimes I come on here to talk movies and music. And I've tried a few times to get people talking about Desperate Housewives- I even started a fan club on them, but it's now disbanded. When first came on here in 2003 I was a bored as hell Army wife in Ft. Hood Texas. Now I'm a stressed out over worked single mom in New York! Let's see what 2010 will bring

Right now I'm talking to my boyfriend who is currently in British Columbia- so it's still 2008 there and I'm just telling him how great the New Year is. LOL Oh and as for New Years resolutions, I'm joining a gym with a co-worker on Friday because I am finally gonna stop being the heavy girl! Wee! Also I'm gonna try to be quieter and less mean and more calm.

Well since Christmas eve is tonight for me (it's 12 EST) And I'm curious to see who got what was on their list. Anyways my mom gave me one of my presents early. I got a large bag of bubble wrap. Wee! So fun! And I'm still waiting for the stuff my friend Tom got me... and everyone else. I kinda cheated and opened some gifts from 2 of my out of town friends. I got a sweater, some Warm Vanilla sugar scented bath stuff from Bath and Body works, some bracelets, Winx Club stickers and a rather funky looking purse from my friend Lisa and from my friend Michelle I got books 1,6.7.8.9, and 10 of Ouran High School Host Club.
