Hey long time no see, Well let;s see I work a lot and haven't been near a TV in a while- aside from Jay Leno's monolog which BTW doesn't really constitute listening to politics (unless you care that picking on McCain is elder abuse) I agree with Morpheus saying that no one but Obama is going to be on the ticket for Obama- as far as I know Reverand Wright hasn't been named as his running mate, and why would he be? It wouldn't be in Wright's best interest for Obama to win the Democratic party's nomination or the presidency because it would prove him wrong about what he's been saying about America which is why Wright has been continuing his rampage and trying to discredit Obama. As for voting, I really need to go look at the candidates, but I will say if Nader gets in the election again (Or that Ron Paul guy) I'm gonna seriously consider moving to Canada

April Fools - What Are Your Plans?
ChibiHorsewoman replied to Rachmaninoff's topic in General Discussion
Well I got a call Tuesday from my brother that I really wished was an April Fool's joke. My dad accidentally ran over my cat and my brother had to call me at work to tell me. Believe me I spent ten minutes yelling at him that it wasn't a funny joke before confirming it... and I never got around to pranking that one girl- shame really. So who do I ask about changing my user name to DominoKitty? -
April Fools - What Are Your Plans?
ChibiHorsewoman replied to Rachmaninoff's topic in General Discussion
Well I was planning on just working... really I'm quite boring and my boyfriend has a night shift so I can't even do anything strange to him... of course there is another friend of mine, it's almost too easy... but I'm gonna prank her again with my friend Samma and who ever else I can find. Too bad April fool's wasn't on Saturday- it would have been easier to take the strange stuff that was spewing from my EX mother-in-law's mouth -
"No Good Deed Goes Unpunished."
Props for the Wicked/ Elphaba reference. I can't wait... I'm going to be seeing that play in June :animesmil I have some more... Hmm I guess that spell didn't work Beware of brunette girls from Kansas flying houses I guess they do have expiration dates for a reason. Damn... maybe I shouldn't have mixed Chlorox with Windex And it turns out... I can't fly either
;807541']Pretty damn confusing. Je déteste L'Espagnol. C'est nul. >.> Mon opinion.
Eh je well.. I know adore isn't the word I want, but oh well I don't really speak much French And don't worry les Quebecouis deteste le francaise di France- Did that sentance even agree? I used to be pretty good at Spanish, but I didn't use it for nearly seven years so I got rusty at it. When you're a home aide though being able to read and speak another language comes in handy so this weekend I'm going to buy some stuff on how to speak spanish. This would probably be why so many people think Americans are ignorant- most Americans only speak English and nothing else.

Prostitution, Spitzer, and other stuff
ChibiHorsewoman replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in General Discussion
Well as of today there is no more Govenor Spitzer- he resigned this morning which is a good thing because if he didn't he would have been impeached tomorrow. My friend who works as a secretary for a few lawmakers in Albany says that the past three days have been a mess and her bosses have been cracking jokes about the former govenor. Roxas- I don't blame you if it wasn't so damn complicated I'd take my boyfriend's mom up on her offer and move to Canada with her as a sponsor and work as a CNA at the nursing home she works at until I can figure out how to become an LPN then a CHN up there (feel free to ask for clarifications) However my life's beyond complicated right now so barring a lot of legal time I can't move to our neighbor's to the north- unless someone either passes away or relinquishes his rights. Finally I saw the best bumper sticker to describe my feelings- it was on the rear windsheild of a car in a Target parking lot yesturday and it said: I love my country- It's the government that scares me. -
I said I get mixed up with the two languages! XD Naturalmente es "hablar", no "parlar". Soy estupido... X/
[Ah ¿tú hable español? Moi aussi. Hablo piquito español porque mi trabaje requirmente... bah I can't really do that either Pero tengo un arguemente en español con un patient de mi. Verement es merde aussi. Yeah- now that was tri-lingual.
-
B'jour mes amies... ooh un nouvelle fille... comment vous apelle vous... eh veriment es merde! Sorry folks, I took 3 years of Spanish and just dabbled in French long enough to annoy a former friend from Quebec. I do kind of know what I said, but I don't think I spelled everything right. But I wouldn't mind brushing up on some languages because they help in my job. And now I'm going to bed bon nuit!

Well, I think unless you've been living under a rock or just don't really get a lot of news where you are the governor of New York State has been named as a client in a prostitution ring- which is real irony because he was key in prosectuting people who were involved in other prositution rings- thanks to the FBI. As it stands right now governor Spitzer is accused of transporting a hooker (there isn't really any PC way to put it now is there?) across state lines from New York to Washington DC which is against the law (not that prostitution is legal in the states or anything :animesigh) and there are suspicions that he may have used government money to fund his little ahem... fun times. So now the rest of the politicians (aside from Senator Clinton who's busy running her campaign) are calling for Spitzer's resignation, New Yorkers are at risk of getting yet another late budget, many New York cities are wondering about the funding for their projects, Silda Spitzer has got my sympathy, and that blonde on The View is worried about the people of New York City (Well yeah, but what about the rest of us poor souls in Upstate New York darling?) This has got me wondering what do the rest of you think? This of course is a generalization because I'm talking about both prostution and if Spitzer should resign (actually if he doesn't resign by tomorrow afternoon Albany is going to impeach the git) Personally I think he should resign because he's such a smug git and he finally got his due. This just in- according to my local news Spitzer may have spent about 80K on escorts

Dog breeds, your favorite and why...i
ChibiHorsewoman replied to Akieen Cloud's topic in General Discussion
I have to say that for versitility you can't be a Heinz fifty-seven. They're probably the best breed out there and they come in a wide variety of sizes and colours. Also since they're mixed from a lot of different dog breeds you don't have to worry about genetic weaknesses like you do from purebreds. But if you want me to be serious I'd have to say that right now I really like Yorshire Terriers. I've been a around a few of them and I have to say that as far as small dogs go they've defiantely won my heart. I'm actually surprised that I like them because usually I can't stand little ankle biters (Especially Chiuauas) But Yorkies are very endearing. And now I have to go to bed so I'll add some more later. -
Hah. Dates can't lie to me this time. That is a post by Chibihorsewoman made within the past hour! What? I'm putting that on my tombstone.
I know will wonders never cease? I still remember the website and my password Let's see... what else Keep Staring, I might come back to life I'm not dead, just floating (P!nk reference) Would you like to be my neighbor? Hah! Dell can't get me now! My mom was right, I should always wear clean underwear incase I get into a car accident *knock on wood* Don't eat furry grapes (This involves a lady I was taking care of tonight.... ick) See people I am still alive- I just have to catch up on sleep and politics

My tombstone is probably going to say that I talked myself to death- I already talk myself into losing my voice every three months so talking myself to death isn't that much of a stretch. This reminds me eerily of an assignment I had in my twelfth grade English class. After reading Our Town my English teacher made everyone write their eulogies. For Christ sake I was seventeen, what do I want to write a eulogy for? Okay and now that I read some of the other replies I have some other things to add: "See, I told you I had all of eternity to be skinny!" "Can we dig it? Yes we can!" (Bob the Builder reference) "Please leave me alone. This is the most rest I've gotten in Decades." 'Will haunt for flowers." 'They lied- hard work really does kill people!" "I didn't let worry kill me, I let the church help." "That's all there is, there ain't no more, unless I come to life once more." And maybe now I should stop and let you all shake your heads at this.

I LIVE!!! Well I just bought DDR Extreme 2 a few weeks ago and I'm hooked. Plus I'm actually not bad at it.' I started playing it again (not very well mind you) this past year because the Children's museum where I live (The Strong NAtional Museum of Play) has a set of them in their feild of play exhibit The biggest gripe I have now is with the damn mat!

I'm listening to Paramore's Riot CD. Or to be more accurate I'm listening to Miracle. Right before I make myself a new mixed CD. Actually I'm about to go listen to Before It's Too Late by the Goo Goo Dolls. Ciao Tutti!

I'm just hoping that 2008 involves some major changes for the US government. I just feel bad for whom ever has to take over the presidency because it's in terrible shape. However I know that 2008 will at least have some major improvements because Bush will finally be out of office! After eight insanely long years it'll finally be over!
I'm going to try to be not as damn honest as I am because sometimes I'm too honest. No really, I've made friends cry and hate me for weeks because I just came out and said what's on my mind.
Okay it's nearly eight PM Eastern Standard Time. And right now my friend Tom is already making me want to break this resolution! Why must people test me like this? :animeangr I can't do it! I'm not a nice person!

Just so everyone knows I'm drinking champagne while doing this and I have to be to work in six hours... blah! :animecry: Hmm, resolutions...Well I could do the cliche lose weight thing. But even though I should I won't. I'm going to try to be not as damn honest as I am because sometimes I'm too honest. No really, I've made friends cry and hate me for weeks because I just came out and said what's on my mind. I'm also going to try harder not to lose my temper and to be a better mom to my daughter because I'm really the only parent she has. Oh and to torture everyone more, I'll be resuming my visits back to the OB Okay you want cliche? Fine, I'm going to get better at my finances because that passport and that car I want to get in 2010 well... they won't buy themselves. Anyone want to take bets on who will crap out on their resolutions first? I'm betting that I'll tank on my less honesty one in three days.:animeswea
But seriously, I'd be wary of meeting anyone IRL from online. Not because I'm afraid for my safety, but simply because I imagine it'd be incrediby weird. -Justin
I know what you mean, I am incredibly nervous when I meet anyone new for the first time, or talk to them over the phone. But once you take a few deep breaths and realize that everyone else is as equally or even more nervous than you are you tend to relax a bit. I'm extremely nervous about meeting one of my guy friends in a few months, but hey he's coming here to my home turf and if he tries anything I know where to hide a body so they'll never find it. :animesmil Just kidding.

Right now at this very minute I'm listening to Breath from Breaking Benjamin's Phobia album. Next I'll be listening to You then Evil Angel Yeah this and talking to my friend 'Duckie' from Tennessee, what a great New Years Eve.

Okay I got into Full Metal Alchemist because a friend of mine (who I shall call Fanisa) was talking about it and one night we both stayed up until two AM watching it over the phone on Cartoon Network. I believe it was the episode where they're on the train. It was entertaining and I thought Al was darling and Hughes was practically insane talking about his kids (I guess he does it through most of the show) I do like the show, but I don't think I like any show enough to stay up until Two in the morning to watch it. So instead I plan on buying one of the box sets I saw on Amazon. According to Fanisa they're worth the eighty or so bucks the sellers want and most of them come with the movie. And now looking at this post I realize that I should wait until after I watch more than one episode. Even though the episode was really good

Whoot! First reply to this post Oh yeah look who's back *sigh* Well, while I've never been on one of those sites I did do a meet up with a friend of mine who lives in Troy (Small town in Upstate New York) which is a four hour drive from where I live in Rochester. I met her off of 4Kids.tv before it got even dumber that it was before. My friend and I did a lot of IMing on AIM and YIM and that's when we found out we were only four hours apart. After a lot of crazienes, job losses, and the like we met up in Syracuse along with two of our friends about a year after we started chatting on the phone. The visit seemed to go pretty well since we met up at the Carousel Centre mall in Syracuse which is a halfway point (kind of) between our two cities. And wse kind of creeped out our friends by acting too much like eachother including buying identical shirts and having our friends abandon us. But even though this visit went well and we met up again in October (gas prices, job schedules and the fact that it's a four hour drive to get to either of our hometowns) I do advise people to be cautious when meeting someone online. Always meet in a public area and I'd also advise doing what my friend and I did the first time we met up and bring along a friend of your own. You know because of the whole safety in numbers thing. What's your New Years Eve Plans?
ChibiHorsewoman replied to Aberinkula's topic in General Discussion
It looks like I'll be staying home and nursing my poor overworked dad, who just got shingles. :animedepr ~Dagger~
Sorry to hear that Dagger. Wear gloves and wash your hands often. That's all I have to say to that. As for myself my New Years Eve plans consist of working until 8:30PM then coming home and taking some food from my parents' party then hiding out upstairs whilst I try to write my fanfictions and talk to my boyfriend online. Joy unbounded eh? I am trying to have a make up New Years Eve party with myself and the two friends I have left here in Rochester (God that makes me sound pathetic eh?) but unfortunately it doesn't seem like one of my friends knows how to use a phone and it seems like her fiance doesn't like me. My other friend still doesn't know either. It's enough to make me want to move to Troy. :animesigh Looking through this I vote we all just add eachother to our IM lists and have our own little party. I'll bring the cupcakes. -
Well I still say that episode 309 was the best of this series so far
Momo and Appa talking and fighting while the sheep cheered. I'm still laughing... I probably will be for days still.
but The Day of the Black Sun was good too. The best part would be when
Zuko used that bending move Iroh had shown him in Bitter Work to deflect the lightening.
I knew that would come in handy some day. I still can't believe that the Netherlands got that 310/311 ep before the US did. Ytv even aired it prior to the US Nick stations. :rant Oh well I hope this writer's strike doesn't delay production too much longer

Well, it's been a week and I found this thread. What did I buy on black Friday? Well I waited until my last assignment was over at 9:20PM EST and since he's right across from one of the malls here I went to Aeropostale and bought a sweater for a friend of mine which completed her gifts. Then I drove around to Target and bought wrapping paper, tissue paper, Christmas cards, two pairs of pjs for my daughter, self adhesive gift tags, two small gift bags, and a package of tie on gift tags. I've run out of everything but tissue paper and tie on gift tags and I haven't even finished shopping

I heard about this incident and read about it last Thursday. I have to say one of the creepiest things is that the victim and I share the same name and were both diagnosed with depression. I do hold the parent of the daughter's former friend responsible for this tragedy. If this girl and her daughter didn't want to be friends with eachother so what? It's not a reason for a grown woman to get online and start harrassing a CHILD. As an adult she really should have known better and the blame is clearly at her feet. If she hadn't taken it upon herself to instigate the 'relationship' and decided to avenge some slight to her own daughter this never would have happened. Perhaps this woman should have had in the back of her mind what she'd feel like if the tables were turned and someone were doing this to her daughter. Maybe then she wouldn't have taken this path and just stayed away. I am horrified that a grown woman who is supposedly more mature than a thirteen year old would stoop to such a level, but I really can't say that I'm shocked since I've seen how immature many grown ups can act. Unfortunately The internet gives people the freedom to freely say whatever they feel like reason be dammed. A lot of people who spew garbage argue that they're withing their rights to say such things never mind the fact that it's cruel, hurtful and if read by a potential employer could be considered defamation of character or slander. In the US you can't be sued for anything you say in a chat or a blog only in emails which really sucks. In conclusion, I hope some day this woman just gets so riddled with guilt (long shot in hell because I know of a few people who fail to show remorse for anything they've done) that she sinks into depression. I don't wish anyone in the family dead. Because that would let them off too easy. Guilt is a much better form of torture and I do hope that she is tortured by her thoughts some day. And if not there's always karma.
