1. 1.) May I have your address so I can come over with a stick and beat you over the head for using derogatory comments? 2.) May I also have your friend's address so I may do the same to him? Oh Goddess you're in for it big time... so are those girls come to think of it. Really that was bad really bad. And Karma's gonna catch up with your friend and kick him in the *** big time. The whole thing is just a day time soap opera waiting to happen. Here's something to think of: 1.) The girl you were both pursuing is an idiot for sleeping with a guy who doesn't have a shred of honesty. 2. Your friend is a **** for going behind your back. 3.) As Sojiro mentioned you're pretty stupid for trusting that your friend wasn't going to pursue this girl. Especially since he doesn't have the conscience and morals to stay with the other girl he got pregnant and thinks he should just be able to pay for an abortion and it'll be over and done with 4.) Do you really want to be with a girl who doesn't really seem to like you? Just think about that.
2. I have to ask because beauty is different things to different people and I want to know what different people define beauty as. As for myself I have to say that I consider my daughter beautiful because despite the fact that her parents aren't getting along at the moment she's growing into a very beautiful and intelligent little girl. Okay so part of this is the bias of a mother's love. But if you saw her you'd agree. So any other comments?
3. Damn, why did you have to pick an anime I never cared for? 1.) Vegeta 2.) Bulma 3.) Trunks 4.) Cell (even though he's made up of everyone!) 5.) Piccalo (even if they do drive the same!) There I'm finished... I'm gonna go see an old lady
4.
Would you rather... Betray your best friend to save millions of other people? Or... Betray millions of other people to save your best friend?
My best friend is currently getting on my nerves by never returning phone calls. Especially the important ones! :animeangr so I'll pick choice one just because right now I'm mad at her.. Hmm... would you rather: Spend four years in college trying to get a degree in a feild of your choice only to end up having to pay back your student loans by moonlighting as a rodeo clown? or Spend four years in college trying to get a degree only to find out that by the time you graduate your knowledge is obsolete so you still have to become a rodeo clown. Either way...you still wind up a clown.
5.
Would you rather... Live fast, die young or... Live slow, die at ripe old age?
In my line of work I end up taking care of a lot of elderly people. Sometimes living to be past your mid eighties isn't all it's cracked up to be. Still I think I'd rather live to be old and be grateful for it even if I do have to get my insurance company to pay for someone to come by to clean me up. There's an Irish saying that goes: Don't regret growing old- many are denied the privledge I think it's true. So I'll chose living slowly and dying old. Okay my turn again Would you rather Live one day as Paris Hilton, you know after the whole jail thing. You go on Larry King, talk about stuff, and then you have to wear her clothes, walk that little rat she calls a dog hang out with Nicole Ricci and deal with her life or Live one day as George W. Bush. You have Dick Cheney as your BMF and get to do a bunch of fun political stuff. Hey! Maybe you can even veto some bills!
6. My local country station has a little contest every night where they play two songs from two different artists. Well tonight I missed the first one, but I heard the second one and I believe it is one of the funniest songs I've ever heard. Unfortunately I can't remember the name of it at the moment... but it's about this guy who is singing about how he can be whoever he wants to be on the internet. If anyone knows the song can they help me? If not, I'll have the lyrics tomorrow.
7.
There are only two things that I am obsessing over now. Bagels with cream cheese and strawberry jam and applejack cereal. I am recovering from surgery and that's all I ate for the first few days. Now I crave them. Ohhh, a root beer float sounds nice. I better get one later.
Recovering from surgery for what? Sorry, nosey. I remember after I got my wisdom teeth taken out I was craving BBQ Pringles or BBQ Lays Stax. Either one I didn't care. But I couldn't eat anything but baby food, applesauce, pudding and yogurt. Finally to prove my Green Tea obsession, I went to the Starbucks in the Irondoquoit Target yesturday to get my Green Tea Frappacino and the guy said that he'd see me in a few days. I go there so much people know me! Damn, now I want a green Tea Latte w/ non fat milk and some BBQ chips!
8. Since there were only two real replies I guess Allamorph is the winner. :animesigh It wasn't that hard, was it?
9. The DiC/CWi SailorMoon Theme song hands down. Actually any song from that English dub is terrible (maybe with the exception of She's Got the Power). But this is a thread about Theme songs that we hate not songs in general.
10.
Most modern car radios have a line in jack that you could use for this. Mine didn't have specific iPod support, but a simple cheap cable would allow me to really hook any audio device into it and play through it.
I drive a 2003 Olds Alero if that helps at all. Love to elaborate, but I have to run to my next assignment.
11.
Would you rather... Be raped for hours on end? Or... Be tortured to death after watching your family go through the same thing?
Whoa who forgot to re-order the Prozak? I'll pick option one. Then I'll go to one of those hypnotist people and forget it ever happened. That way I don't hurt and no one else gets hurt... after intense therapy. Now let's have a happier one Would you rather Listen to country music (the old stuff, the new stuff and the in between stuff) for hours on end unable to make it stop on a car trip from Caribou Maine to Killowna British Columbia? (Assuming you don't like country music) or Listen to various pop music (Bubblegum, J-pop, Brittany Spears Ect ect) hours on end unable to make it stop on a car trip from Anchorage Alaska to Mobile Alabama? (assuming that pop music isn't your thing)
12. Okay this is a thread for those poor misguided souls (like myself) who still buy CDs instead of having our friends burn copies or own iPods or MP3 players (My mom's thinking of buying me an iPod for my birthday though I don't know why) I can't help it, I'm in my car more than I'm anywhere else and I need my CDs. I'm just curious, what are your three most recent CD purchases. Mine are: Fuel- Something Like Human- Yes, I know it's an older album. But I had the hardest time finding it after I got into that genre of music. I finally found it at Best Buy for $9.99. Miranda Lambert- Crazy Ex Girlfriend.- This is the follow up to her first Album Kerosene. I first found out about this second CD by hearing the title track a few months ago on my local country station. When I heard Famous in a Small Town I was hooked. The best song on there by far is Guilty in Here followed by Gunpowder and Lead. Jack Igram- This is it- Yes, another country CD. He did a cover of Lips of an Angel and that's one of the main reasons I had to have this CD. The other reason is because of track 5 titled 'Love you' I can't help it, that song fits me. I drive down 104 blasting it. So, what about everyone else?
13.
Would you rather: Go to the moon enjoy your trip into space only for a malfunction to result in the shuttle blowing up upon re-entry? Or... Visit the depths of the ocean and see untold of wonders before you realize that you don't have enough oxygen reserves to get back to the surface and drown?
I choose going to the moon and then blowing up because it's quick and easy. Unlike drowning which makes your lungs explode and is a rather slow process. When I die I want it over fast. Okay, time for some more fun would you rather: Write a ten page paper about your relationship with your ex having to dredge up every experiance no matter how painful while on your period suffering through the worst menstral cramps ever. or Would you rather set yourself on fire, burn for like two minutes then jump in a pool to put yourself out. Personally I'd rather set myself on fire, but I don't really have that luxuary, how about you?
14. Thank God I'm not the only one here. While I'm still confessing food addictions I'd like to add PF Chang's Orange peel shrimp (No other place can make orange peel shrimp like they can. I'm practically addicted to just the resturaunt because of that particular item and should just find a 12 step program for that and the green tea addiction.) and the Chicken Ceasar Sandwhich from Panera Bread. Now if you'll excuse me I have to go wipe the drool off the keyboard then go back to work.
15. I'm positively horrid at taking pictures. But you know what? What the hell I'll show mine Abby and Santa This would be my daughter last December talking to Santa at our family Christmas party. The thing is at first she didn't want anything to do with Santa and was petrified of him. And now I have to go get ready for work. Maybe I'll send some more later.
16. I won? Oh cool. Well here's my picture. I'll be back in three days to pass judgement. Have fun
17. Hi, my name is CHW and I've recently over the past four years become increasingly addicted to green tea and anything remotely green tea related. Examples of this include the giant cannister of iced green tea mix that my mom bought at Sam's Club because I asked her too (I'm drinking a big glass of it right now) The fact that the Japanese resturaunt down the street from the nursing home I work at has this absolutely divine green tea cake with whipped cream frosting and a cute design in green tea powder and I always buy 2 slices of it when I go there for my Salmon Teriyaki lunch. And my withdrawl symptoms from the green tea lattes and frappacinos at Starbucks. (I'm saving up for a passport, amusement park tickets, a trip to Toronto and stuff for my car) So yeah, I have a green tea addiction. And I'm hoping that I'm not alone with food addictions. So please share your own so I don't feel so alienated.
18. Okay my impression of DB is that he came to us this year. He's paranoid, he likes anime and Uh... there's other stuff too. Like the fact that he has a website.
19. I'm feeling vain again. It's old, because I don't have that tongue ring anymore, but there I am.
20.
If you're polite, people will generally be polite to you. If they're not, you get to complain about them on the internet! It's like the circle of life, or something.
I like to try and believe that. But I worked as a cashier at a grocery store and at a gas station. I was really polite to people, but I still had problems with some customers and my supervisors. (Ie Screaming, yelling, name calling and grabbing) I think it's more of a karma thing, if you're nice to people or nasty to people sooner or later it'll come back on you. But either way no matter what happens you can either complain or brag about your job on the web.
21. And for my next trick I will make my evil Twin- Naps- dissapear.
22. Okay I finally bought the first DVD and watched the first five episodes (They cover book one to the middle of book three) The full title of the anime is Peach Girl Crazy Pop Love Hurricane. The opening song is Heavy Rotation which is one of my new favorite theme songs and the opening credits are mostly animated and include different shots of Momo, Sae, Kairi (That's what they started calling Kiley in the anime both the original and the dub.) and Toji. You also see a shot of 'The Gigalo' and Ryo
Kairi's brother
So far it's a fairly decent anime with a few still shots that overly remind you that it was a manga. And the closing credits are done with artbook shots reminicant to Fushigi Yugi. I'm not a fan of the end song, but that's just one personal opinion. And right now Kairi is my favorite character. In the Manga I liked Misao, but she doesn't get a lot of airtime yet (though this could just be because it's too early for the whole back story) Sae's voice actresses fit her character perfectly in both the Japanese and English versions. The extras on this DVD include an interveiw with Momo Adachi's Japanese voice actress. I haven't checked everything else out yet, but I will soon. I should also have the second DVD by next week. Thus ends my review
23.
Would you rather 1. Be killed by pirhanas that slowly nibble away with your family watching so that you can say your final goodbyes OR 2. Be killed instantly via gunshot to the head, but in a foreign country where your family can't be reached?
Damn, why do I always get the unfun ones? I know... I'll pick a quick death because I don't want my family to have to watch. But seriously, if it was only slowly couldn't you like swim for safety? Okay would you rather: Be able to eat whatever you want and not gain weight, but everything tastes like paste or Be able to eat whatever you want, but everything tastes like it's going to burn your insides? And PS: What's the difference between taping yourself to DB or the other one?
24.
And considering what today is...what I say goes. So there! *thibbit*
My dog's still cuter- even if yours does remind me of my friend's Bischon Frise (His name was Angel and we'd call him a Bichon Frizzy) And yeah, yeah, happy birthday... Your picture got me stared at in the library.
25. Hmm four anime characters not human... okay 1.) Chi (Chobits) 2.) Makona (Rayearth) 3.) InuYasha (InuYasha) 4.) Ceres (Ayashi No Ceres)
