1. I finally got my car back... long involved story... so I figured I'd make a new pointless thread asking people what they have in their vehicles. Or if they don't drive (or even if they do) what's in their purse and or wallet. And maybe tell why Since I started this thread I guess it's obvious that I'll go first. Car Purple Tapestry CD case and a few extra CDs- Because even though I have a perfectly good radio I need excess music. The CDs in my car include Taking the Long way by the Dixie Chicks, The original Broadway cast recording of Wicked, RIDE by Trick Pony, four Ataris CDs and a few mixed CDs Carseat- I have a nearly two year old daughter and NYS law says she has to be in a carseat until she's four feet nine inches and how many 4'9 two year olds do you know? Special K cereal bars- I'm usually running late to work and again I have a toddler. So if she's cranky on long rides or I didn't have enough time for breakfast those come in handy. Two Winx Club dolls- Again my excuse is my daughter. BBQ Lays Stacks- I need other snacks for Abby and me. 1 litre bottle of Squirt- I just haven't cleaned out my car like I should 20 fl oz bottle of orange soda- See above Empty Victoria's secret bag- Again see above Victoria's secret body spray in Amber Romance- There's a guy at work I have a crush for and my car smells kinda funky enough said. WIC Farmer's Market Coupons- I haven't bothered to put them back since I need them again on Saturday. Unopened package of socks- My brother keeps stealing my white socks so right now they're in the trunk of my car. Notebook- I like to write. Now if only I could remember to put pens in my car as well. Magazines- I like to read as well and having those things in my car makes it quicker for me to get ready for work since I'm not looking for them in the house. Stroller- I have a kid and after a while I get tired of chasing after her and telling her to stop squeezing/touching/breaking things. Six dollars- I'm saving that for when I go through the tolls to Albany in a few months. That's all from me.. it's all I can remember just be glad I actually cleaned out my car. So would anyone else like to share?
 2.
This was a pretty fun thread to read through. :catgirl: My first name Gail, per the keychain I received as a gift from a friend many years ago, states my name means: "Her father rejoices". Hmmm, not too sure about that. When I asked my dad why they picked my first name he said: "The hospital wouldn't let us leave with you until we gave you a name." Thanks dad. :animeangr
I agree. I always enjoy threads like this. As for your name meaning... I think Gail comes from the name Abigail (That's my daughter's name) it's origin is Hebrew... and I'll shut up now aboutr that. Okay my full name is Megan Elizabeth Donnelly (because I changed it back!) Allow me to break it down for you. My first name has two different meanings since Megan is the Irish form of Margarhet meaning Pearl or it's Celtic in origin meaning Great and Strong. My parents named me that because it was a good Irish name... I wonder how the other Megans I knew got their name. I like this name, it fits me most of the time... and if it doesn't you can always call me Meg. My middle name came from a friend of my mom's. Elizabeth means Consecrated to God and it's origin is Hebrew. I passed the middle name on to my daughter because I like the name Elizabeth, but it sounds too formal to use all the time and Lizzie reminds me of Lizzie Borden so no thanks. Finally my last name is Donnelly and it's Irish in origin. If I'm remembering correctly it means Brown haired Warrior. I have a whole framed paper about the origin of my last name and the family crest. And you would not believe how many people- including my friends- either misspell or misspronounce my name!
 3. I don't know if I should feel happy or insulted that no one commented on me... Maybe happy since I swear to God I must be the oddest looking female on OB.... I'll leave it at that.
 4.
Seeing as I've never heard a Tasmanian refer to themselves as anything other than a Tasmanian.
Come to the States you get people from all over the place saying that they're either a certain nationality even thought their great great grandparents weren't even born in the country they're claiming *raises hand*, people just claiming Cities or people just claiming states. I guess we just figure that the world already knows we're from America. I heard about Steve Irwin's death Monday morning, but I've been so busy I haven't gotten a chance to say anything until now. It's really something. I feel bad for his wife and kids. But other than that I can't think of anything else to say except that whenever I saw him on Leno I was quite sure that most people from Australia weren't like that.
 5. What do I look like? I'm 5'5 and I've gone through clothing and hair phases. I don't think I'm all that good looking. But hey tell me what you think: This is about three years ago after I got my eyebrow peirced. I think I may do that again. That's almost two years ago after I got my tongue peirced. I am so NEVER doing that again. That's from last year at my daughter's first birthday party. Taken a few months ago with my web cam. My hair is this short again and I like it that way. And finally that's one with two of my cousins and I. Take a wild guess which one I am.
 6.
Oh, not only am I pointing, but I'm also laughing.
Sigh, I just can't win. I come on here admitting that I bought a poppy R&B CD of a group that has an act in Las Vegas and someone laughs. I go to work and play my country music in my car during lunch and my guy friend gives me odd looks.
 7.
uum...I guess it would have to be that day when I got really sick. I threw up nearly three times that day. Once even on the bed!! So I had to get the sheets cleaned and all. Then later on, I was in my room readin, then suddenly felt an uneasy feeling in my stomach, so I went to the bathroom and *sigh* couldn't make it in time to the toilet, so I puked all over the floor =( Gosh, I felt so messed up that day lol
I sympathize with you to a point. Because I absolutely hate throwing up. But they day before I was diagnosed with hyper active thyroid I threw up ten times in the course of six hours. And since it took the endocrynologists a few months to regulate my meds there were days I threw up like four or five times just at random. And don't even get me started on misnomered morning sickness because the last trimester was the WORST! But hey, I'm glad I'm not the only one who has emberassing stories.
 8. Okay everyone please don't point and laugh. Though asking questions is greatly encouraged. I finally got my car back on the road Wednesday so yesturday after work I went out and bought the PussyCat Dolls CD PCD. Why did I do that? Because I like the song Buttons. It so fits this guy I've been talking to at work. He keeps saying he's going to do something and never does. Now if only I knew what the hell Fronting meant. But even though I have no idea what fronting means I've been blasting track five since last night.
 9. Okay I need hypothetical chocolate. Sex is where you get naked and insert tab A into slot B or something like that. Yes that is the basic idea of sex. It's messy it's sweaty and well... there is no absolutely correct way to do it. Trust me no matter how you do it the results are usualy the same.
 10.
Don't know if this has been brought up yet, but I just wanted to mention the horror of what could have been. BEHOLD... THE ABOMINATION... SABAN MOON! Just be happy that Dic got it, and not these losers.
Hey I found a 4 minute clip of that on you tube. God! I'd rather watch the crap that 4Kids DiC and CWi dubbed any day this makes even 4Kids look good How bad is it that even the people veiwing it for the company are laughing and groaning?
I fixed your link for you. You had the tag inside out. -r2

 11. I have a very sensitive stomach and now a hyper active thyroid so I throw up a lot. My most memorable barfing experiance though has to be when I was working at Wegmans (a grocery store where I live) as a Helping Hand (gloryfied cart pusher) in the middle of Summer. I had been working for two hours when I began to get really queasy. I went inside to tell my surpervisor that I was going to clock out and go home (walk home to be precise) when I just threw up infront of the service desk. No warning from my rebllious stomach just blah all over the floor and my new sneakers. I even ended up spitting out my retainer in the process and had to go in the bathroom and wash it off before I walked home. But yeah I just wanted to curl up and die right there especially since I had to go back to work the next day and my supervisor kept asking if I was okay every fifteen minutes.
 12. Sorry I haven't returned to this thread recently I've been busy at work and getting my car on the road. Entire cities and communities are gone. My mom lost a few people that she had trained in New Orleans. People who she had gotten to know after five years of training and talking with them. I know that's not the same as friends or family members, but it's close. I think it's sick that the US government rushes to help other countries during their times of need and yet nearly forgets about people in their own back yards. What does that say? That US citizens are less worthy of aide than citizens of other nations? I know that the woman's baby I mentioned in my first post is doing alright now. But as a parent of a young child it's nearly impossible to get the images of dehydrated, hungry crying frightened children out of my head. Because I know that if I lived in one of the gulf states that could have been me watching my daughter get heat stroke and get dehydrated while people watched. I'm not ashamed to say that I was bawling my eyes out watching that happen. Last year's hurricane season was the most active- it was so active that they actually ran out of names! And Katrina was the most desrtuctive and expensive hurricane on record not only because of economic damage but because of the extreme loss of life. Most of which could have been prevented if New Orleans (Yes I know Gulfport Mississippi was completely destroyed as well, but the main focus is on the Crescent City) had a better evacuation plan... I'm done with my rant for right now, but I know I'll have more soon.
 13. Hi, I'm sorry that this will be short but I'm pressed for time. Tomorrow- technically today- is the one year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina which was the most devistating hurricane in US history. So I'm wondering what everyone's thoughts are now. The image that sticks in my head is of this woman holding her infant son. They showed her twice. The first time she was in a decent mood and her son was alert, The second time she was very upset because her son was listless. The reason I remember this is because her son looked to be about the same age as my daughter. I can't believe that it's been a year and not much has been done. So does anyone have anything else to add? I'll put in more tomorrow
 14. I ♥ shoes and I think it's genetic because my daughter's favorite word is shoes and she's obsessed with them too. I wear between a size 8.5 and a size 10 in US womens shoes. My shoe size fluctuates because I own a lot of different brands and styles of shoes. I own five pairs of sneakers including a two year old pair of black and pink Addidas Sambas that I wear for work and a pair of running shoes. Then there are five pairs of flip flops including a plastic pair with Hello Kitty on them. six pairs of dress shoes including the oldest pair I own, a pair of black shoes I got in college. and my three pairs of boots those are my paddock boots, my dress boots and my Payless boots. I really enjoy buying shoes, it doesn't matter who I'm buying them for... and that reminds me that I need to buy Abby new sneakers and some dress shoes.
 15.
xD funny topic. sex ed in my school started wayyy to late to be useful (at 16 -_-) i learnt most of the process from crappy romance novels (you'd be surprised how infomative they can be) n prevention n std stuff from my biology textbook ha! besides, sex ed is crap. they just tell you to do abstinance. -_-
Keh abstinance. Yeah that works wonders. Don't get me wrong I'm not knocking abstinance. It's a nice idea and everything, but coming from experiance when you're in a moment of passion sometimes your brain isn't doing the thinking. Heh when I started seeing my ex husband my mom took me to Planned Parenthood and I went on Birth Control, that was about the extent of my full sex education barring scaring childhood memories. Well that and conversations with odd co workers.
 16.
I'm Sunni, but I don't like distinguishing between sects. I have Shiite friends. In fact, my best friend is Shiite, and we just call eachother muslims, because these so called sects are really just based on politics.
That sounds like Catholics and Christians... Some Catholics don't consider themselves Christian and some Christians don't consider Catholics Christian. I think that has to do with the fact that Catholics have a lot of Saints that they pray to as well (Exhibit A: My mama and St. Theresa) and some other Christians think of that as praying to Idols. Stupid religious politics. When will they understand that we're praying to the same God?
But I would consider jews or christians or anyone who followed their prophets in the past muslims, because they were following the right path. People just kept on straying from the right path and God had to send prophets to correct them. And Muhammad is simply the last prophet.
That is an interesting concept. I like your way of thinking.
 17.
I'm was born and raised as a muslim. I studied my religion and it makes sense to me, so I choose is Islam as my way of life. The Quran has proven to me that is is in fact a divine revelation, that no human could have written it, and that in itself proves to me that God exists, because if there was no God, the Quran is impossible.
I studied a bit on Islam a few years ago and I really should do so again because I find a lot of your beliefs very interesting. And in some ways enlightening. I especially like the idea that before you're born your good deeds and bad deeds are pre-determined. Also when you do a bad deed when you were supposed to do a good deed it only counts as one bad deed, but when you do a good deed when you were supposed to do a bad deed it counts as ten good deeds. That's a good idea and I wish that the Catholics would use that instead of confession... which I haven't been to since tenth grade. :animeswea The idea that children are sinless coinsides with the Wiccan/Pagan idea that children have perfect love and perfect trust. Which is another nice idea. I really think that people who think that Islam is all about fundamentalism should do some research, they could learn a lot.
 18.
Sex officially scares the hell out of me. All the complexities of knowing how, when, why, where and with whom are just too much to handle. I think I'm just gunna try not to get into any sexual encounters and only have sex if someone else wants to have it with me. If I am in a relationship, I'll let them decide the who-what-when-where-why-how of my sex life. Call me pathetic, but these decisions are frightening to me.
Well, in this case I'd say wait until it doesn't scare you. Because if sex is scary you aren't ready for it.
So hopefully my wife knows what it means to "Get your tubes tied,." Only one kid for me. Otherwise no sex afterwords. Not getting a visectamy. No way are my boys going to get killed. So to speak.
Hey I'm PMSing here so allow me to reply to your post right now! A Tubal Ligation (am I spelling that correctly?) is more evasive and actually more dangerous than a vasectomy. Plus I believe it's more expensive and requires more recovery time than a vasectomy. But hey you and your non existant wife can go ahead and make that discision. And somehow I have a feeling you won't ever be in such a position. From what I understand doctors will only do either a tubal ligation or vasectomy in extreme cases of younger men and women. There's also an opporation (The name escapes me at the moment) that removes the female reproductive organs (or maybe it was just the uterus), but that's also only in extreme cases. My aunt had it right after my cousin was born because her's was quite literally falling out. But other than major cases the doctor will probably just tell you to use condoms and birth control.
 19.
Prussian Blue on ABC today at 10 PM.
Yeah, I'm watching it now and thinking that a lot of blonde jokes have just been validated. What I'm trying to figure out now as I watch this is how their mom managed to get custody knowing how these things usually tend to go. I mean isn't there a law guardian or a social worker investigating these children's living situation? Beyond the fact that they live in a middle class neighborhood they're being raised to be skin heads. From what I've gone through so far I can see anything that endangers a child's welfare is not good. And this whole white supremecy thing is endangering their welfare. This is a case in which the mother should not be granted sole custody. Yes from what I'm seeing from his past he was a questionable guardian. But now I think the California judicial system should pull their heads from their butts and issue the father full custody with supervised visitation for the mother. Also I think an order should be issued preventing the mother from leaving the state or even the county they live in with the children or for that matter anyone in the mother's family or social circle. Because you just know she'll run off to Canada with those girls if she gets the chance. I'm not sure if it's worth noting on here or not, but a lot of Germans in world war two didn't support the Nazi party. It was more of a join or die thing, so Germans joined so they wouldn't be suspected of being traitors to the Nazi Party and taken to concentration camps. Also since the Nazi Party came into power in a time of extreme economic crisis (world wide economic depression) and they offered jobs. Finally there's the fact that the Nazis used the age old scape goat, the Jews which have been persecuted since before Christ. So that appealed to people as well. Thus ends my rant. Until next time.
 20.
Interesting, most interesting. While banner and avatar design wouldn't be my speciality, I took a crack at this because of the Irish thing. Surprisingly there aren't a lot of things you can do with a Tricolour, nor many decent images to use. Avatar Banner Hopefully that's all OK for you CHW. The first font is called Gaeilge1, the second is the Guiness font.
Hey Gavin, thanks a lot. And they even have Irish Font names sweet!
 21. I suffer from a mild case of insomnia thanks to a can of soda. Plus I can't resist a good debate.
I should mention that racism and separatism are not a white phenominom. Take Israel for example. Not all the terrorists are Muslims, many of them are Jewish Zionists. The Israelis basically kicked the Palestians off their land to make way for the "chosen people". What about the Native American reservations in the US? Isn't that a form of separatism? It is indeed, but I respect the Native American right to preserve their own race and culture.
Which is why I support the idea of a Palestinian state where everyone has their own country and can hopefully stop the violence because their religions all stem from one idea- monotheism. Really, they should just take the major religious cities and turn them into the same thing as the Vatican in Rome and poof problem solved. Nice observation, but you've the wrong about the Native American reservations. Here's why: The reservations were initially started by the US Goverment in the mid 1800's to ensure that the white settlers would have land they didn't really give a damn what happened with the Native Americans. Just look at the Massacre at Wounded Knee or the Trail of Tears. Reservations weren't started to help preserve the Native American's traditions- far from it- they were formed so that the whites could have more land. Of course, I am glad that you have the mind to allow them to preserve their race and culture.
If diversity and multiculturalism are so great, would anyone care to explain why the Middle East is so unstable?
Economics. It's widely known that whenever there is a problem in the economy it's easier for nut jobs to take over. That's how Mussilini took over Italy. Also there's that Cowboy in the White House and a bunch of failed peace talks.
I should also point out, since we're all anime fans, that Japan is far from being multicultural. The population of Japan is 99.3% ethnic Japanese. This is no coinsidence. The Japanese are fiercly nationalistic. Their immigration system favors immigrants of there own ethnic stock. It's ok for the Japanese to do this, but if white people did this it would be "racist". Did you know that Israel has a "Jew only" immigration policy. Did you know that Saudi Arabia has a "Muslim only" immigration policy?
Yes the Japanese are so feircely Nationalistic that in 1911 they took control of Korea and during World War two they invaded China and Bombed Pearl Harbor. Such a great history. I'm really tired and pressed for time so I'll edit that part later.
By the way, for those of you who are wondering about my ethnic background. I'm about 25% English, and there's also some Scottish, Irish, and German, but I don't know percents.
You know I was married to someone with your cultural back ground. Heh, I'm Irish Native American. In fact I'm the only one in my entire family including my adopted brother who is not Irish German. My brother hates being half German because of Germany's history but that's completely off topic. Have you thought of maybe investigating your cultural history instead of just segregating by race?
Ok, so America is a "nation of immigrants". Just for the sake of arguement, I'll go along with that. But take Europe for example, Europe has been homogenously white for the last 44,000 years. Non-white immigrants didn't start arriving in Europe until as recently as the 1950's. I know that there have been non-white Muslims in places like Spain and Italy, but those Muslims invaded Europe; they weren't welcomed as immigrants.
And America has been quite stable for over two hundred years, but enough about that. Europe has quite an interesting history. It's been invaded by the Vikings, the Goths, the Huns, warred amongst itsself off and on. I consider scores of angry men rampaging through villages burning, raping and pillaging to be an invasion, but hey, that's just me. The Muslims, Sikhs, Hindus ect ect didn't invade Europe, they immigrated there. Get it correct.
When Britain was a homogenous nation, it was culturally stable. But the government couldn't leave well enough alone. They had to make it a multicultural society. The British people had (and still have) no say what so ever about the immigration policy.
Yes and Britain also made itsself a Colonial power by opressing people for benifit of the Crown. Just look at Ireland in the 1840's during the Potato famine or India or Australia. Yes the UK has an absolutely charming history, just ask anyone of Irish decent. And as Gavin stated, I believe it's up to the British people who elect officials to Parliment (Really clueless on how the whole European politics goes) have a problem with how immigration is handled then allow them to vote on it.
In history there have been many races and tribes that have diminished. But whites hold a unique place in history; they are the first race to diminish voluntarily.
Diminsih voluntarily? What the... last I checked white people were not on the endangered species list. What's really funny now that I keep reading this is that all my white friends have children or are having babies (aside from two and one for obvious reasons) and my 'minority' friends don't. So I really believe you're wrong on that account.
How do my parents feel about my white nationalism? I'd say my Dad is, more or less, understanding. My Mom is not quite as understanding. As far as she is concerned, race isn't even an issue.
Mom's always make better descisions anyways. You should really listen to her more.
One time I made a racist remard and my Dad warned me that I could warrant violence from a person of another race. I replied "but if they made a racist remard about me, could I use violence against them?". He said the I could, but Blacks, Asians, and Hispanics are the ones doing most of the killing. So he pretty much made my point. I disagree with him about the Asians, though, they are actually, for the most part, less violent than whites.
When it comes to violence you have to take a few things into consideration including geographic location, economic conditions and up bringing. I'll make a better point when it's not almost one in the morning
Did you know that the average IQ for Asians is 120; for whites,100; for blacks, 80? That's not a racist remard, that's statistics. If you disagree with me, I encourage you do do your own research on the correlation between race and IQ. I believe my IQ is about 124.
I really really want to reply to this one, but I'm going to keep my mouth shut. I'll just say that I believe my IQ is around 130 and stop at that.
Perhaps "comfortable" is not the word I'm looking for. I'm more or less comforable around other races. I think the word I'm looking for is "at home". I feel like I'm more "at home" when I'm around other white Anglo-Saxons.
You do realize that most Anglo Saxons don't consider Irish to be Anglo Saxon.right? And that's all I have to say because I need sleep!
 22.
I think ChibiHorseWoman and I has just lit one of the largest flame fields in forum history. :nervous:
You obviously have never seen a Same sex marriage thread get started on this board have you?
 23.
Bláse, I think you can decide winners now. Its been weeks... and I think the general public is ready for a new pic. Please? 24. I had to start this thread. I was boared and curious and we know what happenes when I get bored and curious. So religion. Why do you believe what you believe. What faith or religion are you? Were you raised in that religion or did you decide to start following that tradition? If you started following a new religion when did you start and why? Do you feel that you identify with a certain religious group? Are there beliefs in your religion that you feel are out dated? Man teh questions are endless. As for myself right now I consider myself to be Ecclectic Catholic because I attend church ragularyly (for now) but I don't really agree with everything the Catholic church believes and I still have some Wiccan beliefs. I was raised Catholic and I still identify myself as Catholic, but I also study a lot of different religions and pick and choose what I like from each religion. So what about everyone else? And remember keep it civil!
 25.
This thread has gone from a pointless expression of "white separatism" to a shouting match between John, CHW and Starfire, for the love of God would someone please close this waste of bandwidth thread.
Noted. I'm tired of this arguement and not even sure how it got started.. Oh wait, Jerry Springer and not feeling that I should appologize. So, who wants to try and start a thread about religion? Because there is no way in hell that could get any messier.
