I've yet to dye my hair ("virgin hair", as celestialcharm put it :P) @CHW and CoLoR_Me_EviL: Love your hair!
Thanks, I got it cut back in May and I haven't let it grow since. It's so much easier this way. And I have slutty hair. I've been dying my hair in one way or another since I was in ninth grade so my hair has been around the block a few times. I've either gotten the red out of a box, gotten it professionally done or gotten hi-lights from a friend. But right now funds are low since I have to get my car back on the road and I haven't dyed it since the beginning of June so what you see in the picture is my natural color.

Picture Caption Game Round 5
ChibiHorsewoman replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in General Discussion
Okay after much dilliberation and a little help from Titi imouto chan AKA Ayi I have figured out the winners. first place:
"New Survey shows that 4 out of 5 squirrels prefer Budweiser to Old Style, but perhaps they're just too drunk to care."
second place:
"...Yeah, Greg, the side-by-side comparisons are having great results, but I'm not sure if this is the right demographic for Budweiser."
third place:
[spoiler']How ironic that as soon as the squirrel finished as much as he could, he stumbled into the road and was squashed by a drunk driver.
And finally an honorable mention because I laughed hard at all of them:

Who needs athletes to endorse your product when you can have......a [I]squirrel[/I'].
This was really hard. But thanks for playing. You know the drill. The winner has two days before the next person takes his or her place. -
Yeah becuase my first thread wasn't disturbing enough I have to show you something from my local news that's really sick and disturbing. And if you get a chance go on to 13Wham.com check out the woman's t-shirt. Like I told a friend of mine: That picture is oxymoronic!
(Rochester, N.Y.) - Wendy Wilkins is now charged with five crimes, including three counts of third degree rape. Wilkins admitted to police she allowed her boyfriend to have sex with her 15-year-old daughter, and on some occasions even participated. "He's had sex with her four or five days a week," she said in a police statement obtained by 13 WHAM news. ?He will have sex with the both of us...he goes back and forth between us." Miguel Colon admitted his actions. He pleaded guilty to third degree rape. As part of a plea bargain he will serve 16-months to 4 years in state prison. At her home last month, Wilkins would not answer our questions. But she allegedly told police she stayed in the room to supervise because, "I didn't want him to hurt her." The 15-year-old girl was moved into foster care. Her mother has been allowed supervised visits. Wilkins pleaded not guilty to the charges Thursday.
I'm not sure what I find more disturbing. The fact that this guy will only get between sixteen months to four years in NYS prison or the fact that the mom was allowing it. It's just... I mean I heard this on the news tonight and I was like WTF? So I decided to look it up on one of the local station's websites and was still like WTF? And to top it all off. The picture of this woman on the site has her wearing a t-shirt that says: #1 Mom. Well I have to go now. Please comment on this. I swear if it isn't the homicides it's the crazies.
1 ~ What is your NATURAL hair color/colors? 2 ~ Have you ever dyed your hair? If so, what color[s]? 3A ~ If you have, do you regret it? Has it damaged your hair? 3B ~ If you haven't, do you want to? 4 ~ Are you satisfied with your current hair color? 5 ~ What is your favorite style for your hair? [[long, short, bangs, etc]] 6 ~ What kind of hair do you like in the opposite sex? ?
Here are my answers: 1.) Medium Brown. According to the shampoo I use it's chestnut to expresso 2.) Yes I have, multiple times. Usually a darker shade of red. But when I was pregnant I got hi-lites 3.) No. I like getting attention. 4.) Kind of, but not really. I think when I have the money again I might dye it again. Or hi light it. 5.) I like my short layers right now: I can still pull it up if I have to and it takes less time to wash. 6.) I like guys with short hair because to me that means that they spend about the same amount of time as I do on their hair. Of course I could be wrong since I know guys who have short hair and are really vain and insane about it.

Well I guess this was on the news at about 8:30AM EST this morning and I'm surprised that no one has posted about it yet. But Hey that's what I'm here for. To make countless posts. So here goes nothing:
LONDON - British police said Thursday they thwarted a terrorist plot, possibly just days away, to blow up U.S.-bound jetliners over the Atlantic and kill thousands. Chilling accounts leaked by investigators described a plan on the scale of 9/11 that would use liquid explosives concealed as sports drink bottles and common electronic devices to bring down as many as 10 planes in a nearly simultaneous strike. The bombs were to be assembled on the aircraft apparently using a peroxide-based solution detonated by such devices as a disposable camera or a music player, two American law enforcement officials told The Associated Press. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because Britain asked that no information be released. A federal law enforcement official in Washington said that at least one martyrdom tape was found during ongoing raids across England on Thursday. Such a tape, as well as the scheme to strike a range of targets at roughly the same time, is an earmark of al-Qaida. British authorities arrested 24 people based partly on intelligence from Pakistan, where authorities detained up to three others several days earlier. More arrests were expected, the official said. The suspects were believed to be mainly British Muslims, at least some of Pakistani ancestry, and the official said some had gone to Pakistan recently. A senior U.S. counterterrorism official said the suspects, whose ages ranged from 17 to the mid-30s, were looking to sneak at least some chemicals on the planes in sports drink bottles. Teams of at least two or three men were assigned to each flight, the schedules for which they had researched on the Internet, the official said. American investigators praised Britain for preventing a catastrophe. "If this plot had actually occurred, the world would have stood still," Mark Mershon, assistant director of the FBI, told the AP in New York. Terror threat levels were raised to some of their highest levels and hundreds of flights were canceled worldwide. Passengers stood in line for hours and airport trash bins bulged with everything from mouthwash and shaving cream to maple syrup and fine wine. Governors in at least three U.S. states ? California, New York and Massachusetts ? ordered National Guard troops to help provide security. "We want to make sure that there are no remaining threats out there, and we also want to take steps to prevent any would-be copycats who may be inspired to similar conduct," said U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff. Experts said the nature of the plot could herald a new age of terrorism where attackers have access to explosives that are easy to carry and conceal. Emergency security measures quickly implemented on Thursday provided a stark vision of the possible future of air travel. Mothers tasted baby food in front of airport security guards to prove it contained no liquid explosives. Liquids and gels were banned from flights. Travelers repacked their luggage in airports, stowing all but the most necessary items in the hold. Although plots to blow up airliners using liquid explosives are not new ? such an attempt was foiled more than a decade ago ? the U.S. government has been slow to upgrade its security equipment at airport checkpoints to detect explosives on passengers. U.S. authorities did not say how long the security measures would last. "We are taking the step of preventing liquids from getting into the cabin to give us time to make adjustments," Chertoff said. The raids in Britain on Thursday followed a monthslong investigation, but U.S. intelligence officials said authorities moved quickly after learning the plotters hoped to stage a practice run within two days, with the actual attack expected just days after that. The test run was designed to see whether the plotters would be able to smuggle the needed materials aboard the planes, the officials said, speaking on condition of anonymity. Targeted were United, American and Continental Airlines flights from Britain to major U.S. destinations, which counterterrorism officials said probably included New York, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa said the individuals plotted to detonate liquid explosive devices on as many as 10 aircraft. "This nation is at war with Islamic fascists who will use any means to destroy those of us who love freedom, to hurt our nation," President Bush declared. The plane bombings could have come just ahead of the fifth anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks carried out by al-Qaida. The terror group's leader Osama bin Laden and his No. 2, Ayman al-Zawahri, are believed hiding along the Pakistan- Afghanistan border and have repeatedly issued tapes threatening new attacks. "In terms of scale, it was probably designed to be ... a new Sept. 11," said Jean-Charles Brisard, a French private investigator who works with lawyers of many Sept. 11 victims. "It involved the same tools, the same transportation tools and devices." The close call also shifted attention once more to Britain's Islamic community just over a year after the London transit attacks. Three Britons of Pakistani descent and a Jamaican convert to Islam carried out those deadly bombings with a peroxide-based explosive that trained operatives can make using ordinary ingredients such as hair bleach. In Pakistan, an intelligence official said the arrest of an Islamic militant near that border several weeks ago played a role in "unearthing the plot." The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said some suspects arrested in Britain were linked to al-Qaida. However, authorities stopped short of accusing al-Qaida directly for the plot. A senior Pakistani government official, also speaking on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to comment on the matter, said "two or three local people" suspected in the plot were arrested a few days ago in the Pakistani cities of Lahore and Karachi. French Interior Minister Nicholas Sarkozy said the group "appears to be of Pakistani origin," but did not give a precise source for the information. Britain's Home Office refused comment. A British police official, speaking on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the investigation, said the suspects were "homegrown," though it was not immediately clear if all were British citizens. He said authorities were working with Britain's large South Asian community. Tariq Azim Khan, the Pakistani minister of state for information, said "these people were born and brought up in the United Kingdom. Some of them may have parents who were immigrants from Pakistan." Raids were carried out at homes in London, the nearby town of High Wycombe and in Birmingham, in central England. Searches continued throughout the day, and police cordoned off streets in several locations. Police also combed a wooded area in High Wycombe. Hamza Ghafoor, 20, who lives across the street from one of the homes raided in Walthamstow, northeast of London, said police circled the block in vans Wednesday and that they generally swoop into the neighborhood to question "anyone with a beard." "Ibrahim didn't do nothing wrong," Ghafoor said, referring to a suspect. "He played football. He goes to the mosque. He's a nice guy." The British government raised its threat assessment to its highest level ? critical ? which warns that a terrorist attack could be imminent. The U.S. government, following suit, raised its threat assessment to red alert, also its highest level, for commercial flights from Britain to the United States.
It's late, I shoudl be sleeping not on here, but what do I care? I think we need yet another Picture Caption game because I am sleep deprived. Ok there's the first picture. Fate willing I'll be back in three days to find out if anyone replied to this thread... or realize that I am the only one on this board who is in serious need of a life

Weight... okay how do I put this? I'm fat. And I'm not bsing the subject either. I'm 5'5 and weigh well... let's just say I usually wear a size seventeen. I try to lose it, but between the divorce, not being able to make enough money to go to a gym and lack of motivation I haven't made good strides at it. But I think that even with the weight I'm in decent shape, I eat a lot of fruits, vegatables and lean proteins, I walk- attempt to run ( I don't like running though because I swear I look like a drunk duck) and I used to do horseback riding. My job right now involves a lot of moving around bending and shoving things into place so I get my work out from that. Also since it's summer and I work in a plastics factory with no a/c I have the added benifit of a sweat room. But I think we're too obsesed with weight and looks in general. I mean yeah it's important to be in shape, but that shouldn't be the only thing someone has going for them. And dammit I need to go to bed!

I know I'm jumping in on this whole thread nearly two months into it, but this looks like fun
A total of 230 Lebanese have been killed so far and only 25 Israelis. I'm not saying that Israel is targetting civilians, though it might be. I'm just saying it is knowingly killing civilians. Its target is Hizbollah, but it knows civilians are in the region and bombs anyway without a single care. They give a "warning" for people to evacuate, but they bomb while people are evacuating and end up killing them. "Oh we tried our best" they think. Its because they don't give a damn about innocent Lebanese people.
Well it stands to reason that battles which are fought in cities and towns which haven't been fully evacuted that there will be civilian casualties. It's not that the other side doesn't give a damn about the innocent people, it's just that the bombs and missles are undisciminating when it comes to who's an enemy and who isn't. This is a fact of war- just look at Vietnam. Plus since all terrorists are really weak chickenassed individuals they're hiding out in heavily populated areas and hiding behind civilians. Maybe if the town people as a whole banded together against Hazbollah they'd stand a chance.
People are only supporting Israel because they are racist against arabs. The idea that anyone can support Israel after how many innocents it has killed, after how many people it has tortured and punished unfairly, shows just how skewed people morality is. You still think we're all terrorists and we all want to kill you. Grow up and start thinking for yourselves, and stop parroting your power hungry leaders.
Ookay time out there. No seriously time out. That's a really false generalization. Not everyone is racist against arabs, I work with a few Musilims and made it a point to learn about Islam after 9/11. I'm racist against stupid people and that's it. Have you considered all the times that Alquada has kidnapped civilian contractors and aid workers in Iraq then tortured and killed them on TV? They were innocent too. So was that nineteen year old soldier. Actually according to your religion so is anyone under the age of twelve. Maybe the terrorists should go read the parts of the Koran which explain the concept of good and bad deeds and realize that Allah doesn't want them killing people and warns against vengeance? Again about the civilians being killed, it's one of the harsh realities of modern warfare that civilians are going to get caught in the crossfire. Especially against terrorist organizations on both the Isreali and Lebanese sides. Because as I said earlier terrorists are chickenasses. I'm grown up and thinking for myself. I concern myself with the facts. And the fact is these people need some new hobbies. Basket weaving anyone?
People want peace in the region, but to the Israelis this means that palestinians leave them alone and let them carry on occupying and oppressing our people. They can hurt us, but we're not allowed to hurt them.
Then maybe everyone should get together and form a Palestinian state since this seems to be the big to do in the region since 1948 when Isreal was formed. They can make Jerusalem a separate area like Vatican City over in Rome .
Anyway, while I hope that no innocent Israelis are hurt, and while I am upset that Hizbollah's actions have brought so much destrution to Lebanon, I hope Hizbollah destroys Israel, gives them a taste of their own medicine. That'll teach Israel once and for all that it is not excused from the the rules of war. That'll teach them to stop collectively punishing our people for the terrorists they themselves have created from their constant oppression of our people. That'll teach them to destroy an entire country for their polical gain. An eye for an eye.
Doesn't the Koran have that passage about if someone injures you that it's okay to go after them, but be careful because someone else could be out to take out their vengeance on you? I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure that they meant that you should try not to start fights.
They only want Hizbollah out of Lebanon because it was Hizbollah that drove Israel out Lebanon. They want Hizbollah out so they can occupy southern Lebanon again.
I say we get the whole country into group therapy so they can sort out their differences with foam bats instead of bombs. Who's with me?

Jessica Simpson moments part 2
ChibiHorsewoman replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in General Discussion
However the most recent of these JS moments for me has to belong to me younger brother Dave, I asked him what time it was about half an hour ago, he looked as his digital watch and told me fourteen o'clock.
Ok now I'm about to have a JS moment. I thought it was possible to have fourteen o'clock. Okay so technically it would be fourteen hundred hours or something, but give teh kid a break... Unless it wasn't even two there. -
Ok while we're on the subject of nasty food can we talk about brussles sprouts? Ew! Those things are disgusting! They smell and they taste awful. Yet my daughter likes them. I don't know where she gets the whole let's eat something nasty gene from. Another veggie that I don't like is artichokes. I swear someone must have been starving when they decided to eat those.

Jessica Simpson moments part 2
ChibiHorsewoman replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in General Discussion
Okay here's more proof that the time I fell off a horse and hit my head did some serious damage. I call my friend in Oregon and then think I dialed the wrong number when he picks up the phone. I constantly ask, is Tom there, did I get the wrong number? Once he almost hung up on me because I had him convinced I got the wrong number. No seriously I do this on a regular basis. I even check the caller ID while the phone is ringing. But in my defense I have a reason to wonder if I dialed the wrong number because once when I called I was off by one number and someone who sounded like my friend answered the phone. -
Hey, I don't know who remembers or wants to remember the last time I started a thread about momentary lapses in memory with nearly the same title. But I'm doing it again! Why you may ask? Because I can't help but seem ditzy at the worst times. My most recent Jessica Simpson moment was this past Thursday when I was grocery shopping. I was in the produce section and went to weigh something on one of the scales. I don't know how the scales in other grocery stores are, but in this one chain here instead of just being a regular scale, when you weigh the produce you key in the product code or whatever and the scale will print out a sticker with the price and UPC code to place on the bag so you save time at the cash register. Well anyways when I went to press print the scale was out of labels so I went up to one of the people in produce and instead of telling the guy that the scale was out of paper I said that the weigh thingy is out of paper. How sad is that? So how about the rest of you? Forget something simple and are willing to share? Please?

Mel Gibson DUI - And it Gets Better
ChibiHorsewoman replied to Albert Flasher's topic in General Discussion
Wow... a celebraty got a DUI... alert the media. Oh wait, that already happened. It's sad that he did a stupid thing like driving drunk, but it's good that he didn't kill anyone with his bad descision. It's sad that he's a pissy extremely angry drunk and will probably have more charges than just the DUI, but Mel Gibson has the money to hire a good attorney. I guess what I'm saying is, another day another chance to make a new movie and what they should have focused on is that he was stupid and no one got killed or injured besides and alleged phone. -
I've never had cottage cheese...but after that post i doubt i ever will. You like raw mushrooms! EWWWWWWWWWW!!! I'd rather eat pure evil or even a cucumber!
I don't like cottage cheese at all... it's got a weird texture to it and it just doesn't look right. But come on raw mushrooms aren't that bad if they've been cleaned and are covered in ranch dressing and eatten with pleanty of other veggies. Also on topic, what did a cucumber ever do to you?
I absolutely despise cottage cheese, as it's Satan in a container. It's spoiled milk, packaged, sealed, and sold to the foolish masses. Perhaps its the fact that I don't generally like dairy products. Perhaps its the fact that I don't generally eat spoiled products..
That's my opinion on it exactly... but I find that in my family I am the minority and my parents see nothing wrong with feeding cheese- that has the same consistancy of spoiled milk- to their granddaughter. The feinds! But off topic, you eat other cheese, right? Well cheese is spoiled milk... according to my mom at least. And if you drink wine or meade you're drinking spoiled juice so.... Wait did I have a point?
Unless you're lactose intolerant (and even that is a grey area), there is seriously no excuse for disliking cottage cheese. Haters.
I beg to differ Sara. I had a bad experiance with cottage cheese when I was like seven or so. My dad put it in this cheesey noodle cassorole stuff that we have during Lent and I got sick. So after that I swore off lumpy cheeses. As I've grown and done babysitting jobs I've found that baby spit up has the same consistancy of cottage cheese they also smell about the same. So while my family can eat all the slimey plastic packaged cheese they want- I'm just gonna avoid it all together. And I'm still trying to figure out why my daughter likes it. For that matter I also can't stand split pea soup. That stuff makes my stomach churn.

What skills do you have or what are you best known for?
ChibiHorsewoman replied to orbindo's topic in General Discussion
Hmm, what am I known for? Where do I begin? Well I think on here I'm known for my pointless threads, pretty font (I was nomintated as one of the fifty most nifty people on Otakuboards for my font in 2005 :animesmil ) and rounabout way of getting to the point. I have no idea what else I'm known for here. Maybe talking too much... can you do that online? In my group of friends both on and off line I'm known as the kind of person who doesn't take anything too seriously. Someone can make rude comments about me and I can be like oh that's nice. You're funny. I think my friends in Texas miss me because I was a sorce of entertainment and an unique specimine of a female from Western New York. I make people laugh without meaning to. Like the time I called one of my friends and didn't realize I called the right number. I think I'm also seen as a very down to earth person. I don't act like someone I'm not and you either like me for that or you don't. And if you don't it's your loss because I'm a unique specimine of a female from Western New York. I know I'm a terrible artist- ok not terrible but not very good either. I do decent sketches and I write. And now I think it's time for a new thread, And who do I go to to get my name changed? -
I like Here For the Party better than Gretchen's newest one. There are more songs on it that I like and I can pick out my mood for the moment, mellow, hype, or upset. :animesmil
I have to disagree about that. I have both Gretchen WIlson CDs too and I like All Jacked up better than Here for the Party. Of course that could be because I really like her song California Girls and Politically uncorrect seems like it has a line written just for me. Here for the Party is good and everything and it has songs that you can dance to, but I found myself skipping through a lot of the songs on there... even though Hiomewrecker would be a theme song of choice at times. So yeah I like All Jacked Up a lot better I listen to more of the songs and sing a long to more of them too.

I am desperately seeking Knock on the Sky by SheDaisy. I used to have that CD but I wore the hell out of it last year and stopped playing tracks 4-9. I honestly now think the last CD I bought was Wicked the soundtrack of the broadway musical. And I listen to it so much I think I may have to buy another copy.

Well, I don't remember what I posted in this the first time. But hey that just means I can do it again! My name is Megan Elizabeth and that's all you'll get out of me. My friends call me either Meg, Meg nee chan, Meggy or Megan. I'm twenty-four right now, but I'll be twenty-five in less than two weeks. So that makes me a Leo. And Leo's rock. I'm divorced and single. I have a twenty-one month old daughter from that relationship and she lives with me full time with just visitation from her father, step-mother and maternal grandma when they see fit. As I mentioned before I'm single, and it's not too bad because I have other friends- both online and in New York who are single. But I've had to go to two weddings recently and my best friend is engaged so it makes me wonder if I'm ready to try dating again. Let's see what else? I live in Western NYS with my parents and younger brother (he's twenty-one). I get along with them most of the time and they don't mind having my daughter and I live with them. Everyone adores my daughter. I enjoy writing (mostly fanfictions because I can't seem to get started on my fiction novel) reading (pretty much anything- I just finished reading Pope Joan, Rebel Angels and Kiss my Tiara) and drawing (even though I kinda suck at it). I try to get Abby (my daughter) to draw, but she doesn't have good hand/ eye coordination yet. And I read to my daughter. Music is also another passion of mine even though I'm not talented in any sense of the word. I own about a hundred CDs mostly originals and a few mixed. I would have had more, but well I rely on temp jobs for employment and my ex kept a lot of my stuff that I left in Texas because I assumed he wasn't a... well I'm not going there. I love watching Desperate Housewives- even though now Marcia Cross' character is a widow, Felicity Hoffman's character works and two of the other characters have been divorced since last season so they're not all housewives. I adore Eva Longoria's character even though I will probably never end up like her in more ways than one. I am also addicted to anime (Naruto is one of my new favorites- dattebayo! I also like Fushigi Yugi, SailorMoon, Ayashi no Ceres Magic Knight Rayearth, Trigun and InuYasha- you know old stand byes) Winx Club (I think my DVD player is multi regional so I plan on ordering the original episodes when I have the money) Diet Pepsi (hey my brother works for Frito Lay and Frito Lay owns Pepsi so I have to keep my brother employed) Sephora (I have things I've clipped from their catalogs or printed off their site on my walls) Country Music and Yahoo Instand messaging. Well that's pretty much me. Gotta run!
And ChibiHorsewoman, are you saying that I'm rich? If so, would you kindly direct me towards my misplaced moolah?
Well I didn't mean you in general. But hey if you find your missplaced money- I'm single. :D
