[color=darkviolet]Well, I've been a victim of road rage and I've seen road rage happen...oh, ok, and I've handed out a few birdies that weren't on a golf course :o The time I had a first hand experiance with road rage was when I went to go pick up a pizza at Dominos. There was this crazy woman careening through the parking lot in her stupid SUV and she was making a left hand turn and didn't bother to stop. She got in front of my car, stopped, and got out of her SUV. I rolled up my window because I just didn't want to deal with her. She yelled 'Hey, that was a stop sign' at me then got back into her vehicle. I didn't say anything to her, but I wanted to know why she didn't stop if there was a stop sign., I passed her later when I was turing right onto another street and she was still waiting in traffic. Hell of a lot of good speeding did her. The first time I saw road rage was when my family and I were in my mom's old car on the George Washington Bridge getting into NYC. Some guy got out of his car and started yelling at the guy in the car behind us. My brother wanted to know if maybe the guy yelling had been sniffing paint thinner earlier. My aunt Marty had a rather frightening experiance with a road rage guy. I don't know the whole story, but I guess the guy didn't like that she was driving the speed limit on a side street. So he pulled ahead of her and slammed on his breaks. Then when she was stopped he got out of his car and started pounding on her window and yelling at her. My road rage usually happens when people decide to cut me off, run stop signs or just not know how to drive. I either swear at them or throw them a little birdie depending on my mood or the offense. I find yelling helps to release stress.[/color]

[color=darkviolet]I'm getting the cliched New Years resolution of losing weight and getting in shape. But hey, it's the first time I've ever said it. Mostly I want to have a better year this year than I did last year, which isn't too hard considering that my husband will be home in March (well in TX) and out of the army this year. And I want to get a job...I'm looking, but no luck so far. But the weight thing is definately up there. I want to be able to do silly song and dance routines for my daughter and not run out of breath or get winded while doing them. Yeah I know it's a cliched resolution, but if you were over 200lbs it would be yours too.[/color]

I don't shop there because I think it's cool, I'm 23 years old and I hope that by now I've out grown that . Besides, I also shop at Old Navy, Payless, Coach, Pac Sun, Gap and American Eagle when I go to the mall. And the anchor stores (ie JC Penny, Lord and Taylor, Sears ect). I think for people who never had lables in high school it's a lot harder to understand why everyone wants to lable themselves now. Yeah, I like Good Charlotte and New Found Glory, I also like Fleetwood Mac, Dixie Chicks and some songs from Rush. I enjoy Flogging Molly and Tim McGraw too. So what would that make me?[/color]

[color=darkviolet]I definately think Friends is one of the most overrated shows in history. I never watched it when it was originally on the air and I don't watch it now. For some odd reason my dad (53 years old mind you) enjoys watching it. Then again he watches the Bloomberge stock report channel for 3 hours so maybe that's why he'll watch friends. I kind of like Everyone Loves Raymond. I was actually watching it while going through people's replies to this post. I'm not sure what else to add to this except South Park. Ok, it was funny when it came out my Sophomore year of High School, but the potty humor is really old now.[/color]

[color=darkviolet]Well, if having demons in an anime makes sense then I'm all for it. For example, Takahashi's InuYasha would make absolutely no sense if there wasn't atleast once demon since Yasha is another word for demon. Or some kind of magical girl anime where the main characters need villains to fight. SailorMoon did pretty well with pleanty of demonic youma to fight against. Ok so the plot became redundant, but the demon thing worked. However, if demons make no sense I wouldn't like them in anime. I think Princess 9 and Angelic Layer do pretty well without them. I don't know where demons would fit in with girls trying to play baseball alongside boys. So in conclusion I think that as long as demons are necessary to an anime's success and don't seem silly they should be allowed in anime.[/color]

[color=darkviolet]There's a commercial for this local meat market that I find somewhat amusing. The guy talks about how low prices aren't allowed in their store then a guy wearing a costume walks in with the caption [b]Mr High Prices[/b] and some other guy comes and beats him up. At the end of the commercial the announcer guy starts rattling off about how they take Cash, credit, EBT (food Stamps for those ppl who 1.) never needed them or 2.) just don't know what I mean) gold diamonds...anything but personal checks. Lincoln's cousin and I joke about taking her aunt (my mother-in-law) down there and trying to sell her for some ground beef. There was also a local TV law firm trying to get people to sue for Vioxx. Now initially this wouldn't be a funny commercial, but then they mention suffering from heart attack, stroke, even death and if you have suffered from any of these things to give them a call. I'd like to know how you'd call them from the great beyond...do you need to get your friends or family to contact the law firm with an ouiji board? I'm waiting for the funny commercials for the super bowl to come on.[/color]

America is not a theocracy, and I don't think homosexuals threaten the Church nearly as much as some people seem to point out. Xander,I think you're a great person and you most likely mean well, but Homosexuality is not the flu, it can't be cured. It's genetically predisposed like being short or having green eyes. Therefore the all the prayer in the world can not change a homosexual into a heterosexual. Besides, would you really want to date a girl who was [i]trying[/i] not to be a lesbian? It's not good for either person involved in the relationship.Also, I doubt that anyone in their right mind would chose to be a member of an oppressed group. I'm going to address the whole idea of being born with sin. How on earth can an infant sin? I've never liked the whole idea that we are all born as sinners and are doomed to eternal torment in hell if we don't change. I never believed that a God that loves everyone could be so hard hearted. So I like the idea that we are born sinless (like Muslims some Christians and Wiccans believe) but then as we reach the age of reason, where we know the difference between right and wrong, then we either sin or do things that will be judged against us in our next life. We have to stop making this a religion thing or a sin thing. It's a personal thing. It's something that many people have to deal with every day. If we want to jump on the procreation band wagon and how being homosexual goes against that as well, then shouldn't we also start barring people who can't reproduce and couples who don't want kids from exchanging vows as well. And if someone *cough* BUsh *cough* wants to pass an amemndment saying that they're trying to uphold the sanctity of marriage, maybe they should pass one barring celebraties from getting married since all they seem to be doing is getting media attention for a few weeks then file fore divorce a few months later. [color=darkviolet]We have the most memorable moments on the OB, but what about your most memorable 2004 moments in real life? I have quite a few of my own. Probably the two biggest are finding out I was pregnant then givin birth to my daughter. Those two are the best memories I've had this year. Right up there is getting to see my husband before he went to Iraq in February then seeing him in September. I also predicted that my best friend would have her daughter on the 29th of February and I was right..talk about creepy. My saddest moment though is that my husband's aunt Nacy passed away yesturday morning following complicatiions from a stroke. just under that is my favorite mare had to be put down after she broke her hip over the summer. Nobody told me (I have a friend who rides at the same place I do) until I got back from maternity leave in October. Well, I've shared, now it's your turn[/color]

[color=darkviolet]Well, originally I was just going to sit at home with my daughter, watch anime and 80's cartoons (Jem rocks!) and see if I can manage to stay up until past 12AM and actually notice it (last new years eve I was up past 12 AM, but I didn't know it untill 1:45 when our ritual was over and the one before that I fell asleep at 11:30 PM CST...but hey, that time I stayed up until it was 2003 in NYC! Anywasy, this year I'm getting together with a bunch of friends...mostly people I can't remember the names of, and goin' bowlin'. I haven't bowled since i was two months pregnant. I wonder how I'll do with Abby screaming her head off. Oh Well, wish me luck[/color]

I've volunteered at my parent's church's nursery and done Sunday school. I've also watched my cousins quite a few times along with my friends' kids. One of my friends has this cute six year old girl who is just a bundle of energy. Have you ever tried to play hide and seek in a one floor house? You should it's a life changing experiance...especially when the kid tries to hide in the dryer. I also took Lincoln's cousin's brother out to the Mall to do his Christmas shopping last Thursday (ie the day before Christmas Eve). Now, he's a great kid, don't get me wrong. Really really nice, he brushed off my car a few times and even volunteered to change my daughter's diapers. But he has a really bad case of ADHD (attention deficite hyper activity disorder) heavy on the hyper activity. And he talks more than me ( I honestly didn't know that was possible) so he kind of puts me in the mind of one of those toy breed dogs on a sugar high. But I can deal with him And I've delt with my brother. So yeah, I can be patient when I have to be. [/color]

[color=darkviolet]I think we've had this question before. Aw well, I live in Western New York State in a small town 2 miles from Rochester. Home of the grabage plate, Kodak, Bousche and Lomb and Xerox...oh and Bill Grays and Abbots. We have a 17 screen stadum seating movie theater and 3 open malls (we had four or five but the other two aren't doing so well.) The three malls in the Rochester area are nice and so is our Zoo, but I like to drive out to Syracuse or Buffalo for fun...when I have the extra gas money. I lived in this town all my life barring the whole Texas incident. Texas (atleast where I lived) is friggin' boring. I lived outside of Ft. hood in the city (yeah that's what they called it) of Killeen population 11,300. The most exciting thing that happened there (aside from G.W. Bush coming to Ft. Hood twice) was when someone got shot in their own apartment a few units down from ours and I had to walk by it. Killeen is also the same place where this woman was kidnaped from her apartment a few months before I moved there and was raped then shot at and left for dead. Yeah, I sure miss living there. But hey, if I want to relive that memory I can always move to my mother-in-law's neighborhood.[/color]
