I'm not sure how unbiased of an opinion I can give since I've only had sex with one person albeit before I married the guy, but still... I don't think that pre-marital sex is a bad thing just as long as you don't feel pressured to just do it and you're both responsible with your actions. Also you should recognize the consequences of your actions and be able to accept them. That said I'll give you fair warning, first time sex is usually very awkward no matter who you are. Don't expect to have everything be so magical and perfect. It's strange, you're seeing this person naked for the first time (probably) and they're also seeing you naked for the first time. It'll still be a memorable moment, but be prepared to have to laugh at a few things and get slightly red in the face. well anyways, that's my $.02 take it or leave it. ~*~Chibi~*~

Are you planning on keeping your name?
ChibiHorsewoman replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in General Discussion
My husband's last name is Crisler which loosk liek it should be pronounced Chrysler (like the car company) but it's supposed to be pronounced the way it looks. My maiden name is Donnelly which should be relatively easy to pronounce, but it's not go figure. Plus nobody can spell either name correctly. So I think I did the whole hyphnation thing just so I could see how many people mispell and mispronounce the names. On the hyphenation thing though, my riding instructor won't put me down as M Donnelly-Crisler so I'm on the rider list as M Crisler. It's stil not as bad as getting mail addressed to Mrs. Lincoln Crisler. I swear, everytime I see that I want to look for mail addressed to Mr. Megan Donnelly as well. Grr, stupid paternal society. -
I just started watching Fushigi Yugi again...now that I have all the episodes. I've decided that another one of my favoirte female villains in either anime or manga would be Soi of the Seiryuu seven. Yeah, so she's a bit of a well, a word that you can't type here because it'd be censored, but aren't we all at one point? She's also very powerful, I think maybe even more powerful than Kagura. Ok, maybe that's not very fair since Kagura could easily be killed by Naraku and all she has is wind power. Soi can
control the weather, or something like that. The second episode where she appeared was when Miaka and the others were on their way to find the Shinzaho and they were on this ship. Soi stired up this big storm which started to destroy the ship and the a few of them (miaka included ) fell over board. She even caused Tamahome to be electrocuted.
Don't get me wrong, I like Tamahome, but sometimes it's fun to watch the bad guys be bad. Also I think she's drawn really nicely-I guess I could say she's pretty in an evil sorceress kind of way. Anyways, since there's this topic about favoite anime characters we may as well have least favorite anime characters. One of my least favorite villains in Nakago. My first reason is kind of strange, the guy has a mullet. Has anyone else noticed that? I don't even know why I thougt of that except that in that scene where he
kills that bird for no good reason
you can see his profile and it looks like he has a mullet. That scene is probably another good example of why I don't care very much for Nakago he has no respect for anyone but himself.
He used Amiboshi to infiltrate the Suzaku warriors and ended up losing him for a whie. Then he used Suboshi's anger at the loss of his twin to kill Tamahome's family. He lied to Yui and tricked her into turning against her best friend and becoming the priestess of Seiryuu.
He's just not a very nice guy and he kills animals so you'd have to report him to PETA or atleast the ASPCA

Most painful ([physically painful) experiance ever
ChibiHorsewoman replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in General Discussion
I got my nipple stuck in a fence once.
Well, you've piqued my curiousity...how on earth did you get your nipple caught in a fence? Then again..do we really want to know? I got my tongue stuck to a fence once. It was winter and one of my friends double dared me to do it, so as a ten year old, I did it. (It kind of reminded me of that scene in A christmas story where the kid got his tongue stuck to a flagpole)It hurt for a while after I got it unstuck...I could swear that I saw all my taste buds on that fence. But it's pretty much healed now and I can do stuff with it. -
the important thing to remember is that no matter how crappy your life is there is always someone who has it much worse. Just read your local paper or watch CNN or some other news show. Or you could watch Jerry Springer and tell yourself that at least your mom didn't sleep with your boyfriend and your dad isn't on National TV wearing women's underwear.
Aw for real? I love Sephora! I'm lucky, every summer and Christmas vacation I go to California, and there's actually a Sephora within walking distance, in this absolutely adorable little shi-shi town. Sometimes I spend hours in there... Does that count as a fetish? ;) -Karma
Kind of and I now envy you. I may have spent a collective of 1 hour in the two stores I've ever been in (Scottsdale and Venetian) Ah well, I get to go beck to Texas in a few more months so I guess it's Austin and teh Arboretum for me. :D

I was original thinking of titling this thread anime couples most likely to wind up on Jerry Springer, but that looked a bit too long. Moving on, I'm wondering which anime (or manga) couples you think just wouldn't last. Please remember to give reasons and not just list people. Not only is it boring to the other readers, it's also spam (what exactly is that stuff made of anyways?) As for myself: Momo Adachi and Toji Kuzuya (something like that) from Peach Girl- Sure, she had a crush on him for a long time and they did try to go out a few times throughout the series. But look at the number of times
Toji broke up with MOmo because of things that Sae had said without even listening to Momo's side of the story.
I don't know about the rest of you , but that doesn't seem like grounds for a very strong relationship since you need trust for a good relationship and in the beginning there wasn't any becuase Toji would rather believe someone besides his girlfriend. Sesshomaru and Rin from InuYasha- You don't have to look too hard on fanfiction websites to find this pairing which I think is rather frightening. To me I feel that Sesshomaru sees Rin and a daughter not someone he'll have romantic feelings for later on in life. He doesn't really strike me as a Woody Allen personality marrying a younger woman. Besides, it's just creepy. Okay, I know I mentioned that already but how often do people really wind up with the kid they raised and not end up on Jerry Springer? There's two from me for the time being just to get the whole subject started. I'll add more later
Victoria's Secret is my God. -Karma
I know how that is, I'm trying to get a job there. You know when the best time is to shop there right? The two Semi annual sales (January and June) I'm so obsessed with that I even went this past June when i was six months pregnant. I think I must have bought about 20 pairs of
panties and maybe 6 bras
to add to my collection. So yeah I guess one of my big obsessions is underwear at Victoria's secret. Then again, there is my Sephora obsession as well, I think I order make up from there about twice a month and most of it's eyeshadow and lipstick. But I have to say it feels like my birthday whenever that UPS guy shows up at my door. *sigh*
I feel rather awkward when I don't wear a bra and/or underwear. -Karma
I like not wearing a bra. I don't feel as confined then. But I can't go without one in public so I really enjoy being at home and taking the damn thing off! Even a $40.00 Victoria's Secret bra loses comfort after 12 hours. :P
At least you didn't hit a deer or some other formidable opponent for your vehicle. My brother suffered through an experience like that and the results are both physically and psychologically disasterous.
It's such a big problem where i live in NYS that they actually announce on the news the first deer hit of teh season and warn you to watch out for them around November My mom hit one a few years ago with her van and it causd major damage to the vehicle. Not to mention how it freaked my mom out. She sped up on the highway so teh deer wouldn't go through the front of the van and end up killing her. But it went through the back and messed the whole van up. Never teh less it did freak her out so she didn't end up going to that food show. While I lived in Texas there was a guy who worked with my husband who hit a deer with his pickup. It screwed up the brush guard pretty bad then he and a friend took it for processing. That's just too messed up even for me. I guess should appologize for the title of the post, but I couldn't think of a better one. -
You know who has is worse than Batman? People in those daytime Soap Operas that's who. They're always losing their memories or dying of some strange disease or getting shot at. Or aomeone's kid falls off a horse and breaks her arm and now they're about to get sued. I sure wouldn't want to be one of them. At some point and time in our lives it's inevitable that it will indeed suck. Sometimes someone's life will suck more than yours or will suck less. The point is that you have to learn to take the good with the bad because with out the bad stuff in your life you can't appreciate the good.
Wear braces or a retainer for a few years and you feel naked without them.[/FONT']
Tell me about it, I wore braces for 2 years and felt kind of odd with them off. But, I did like having them off, I missed gum and popcorn. As for an article of clothing or an acessory making you feel more comfortable...I feel that way about pants or shorts. When I wear them I feel a bit more comfortable and laid back. Skirts and dresses sometimes make me feel like I'm on a bit of an edge and I have to act a bit more mature or ladylike. I don't know why, but I just feel more at ease with myself in pants. Maybe it has something to do with being a girly girl back in grade school and middle school. perhaps I should work on that.

At the end of the world, where will you be?
ChibiHorsewoman replied to Doukeshi's topic in General Discussion
Exactly. :p All that will be left are cockroaches and twinkies. XD[/font']
You forgot Cher. I heard a quote once that at the end of the war all that will be left are cockroaches, Twinkies and Cher. As for myself, I'll probably already be dead at the end of the world since if scientists are to be believed the sun isn't about to die anytime soon and you know you can't base the end of the world on any of these dooms day cults. When have any of them been right? -
Well yeah. Because Inuyasha's voice is Richard Cox. Richard Cox happens to be working with SunRise company. I think he plays more than 2 characters. :)
That happens a lot with voice actors and actresses in both the original and teh dubs. For example the lady who does the english voice of Kagura also does the voice of Kanna. But you'd never know it unless you read the credits on the DVDs. I think it's a good thing that InuYasha finished up in Japan. After a while with over 100 episodes everything just starts to look the same. Ask any one who's ever watched SailorMoon after the third season, it all starts to blend together.

WHy is there oppresion on gay people? Because in this country you can watch Jerry Springer and take your kid to gun shows and no one bats an eye, but Jaquie and Trina try to register for Noritake china and everyone goes ape ****. I think the most reasonable response for this is that people are afraid of things that are different and sometimes a reaction to fear is anger and violence. Need more proof, look at how some people in Russia are reacting to the muslims in their country due to the school attack last month. Nobody has it easy. It's not just Americans though. I was watching on the news this morning that the Anglican church in Europe is asking the Episcipalian (same church different name)church in America to appologize for appointing an openly gay bishop. So, see it's not just us. But not all people who practice mainstream religion are against homosexuals. In Rochester a few years back we had a catholic priest who performed gay marriages. Sure, he was ex communcicated in the end, but he did what he thought was right and tried to get people to hate less and love more. Besides, the Bible contains 6 admonishments to homosexuals and 362 admonishments towards heterosexuals. Don't you think that means that the heterosexuals need more guidance? Look, in a perfect world nobody would be trying to make one absolute definition of marriage and nobody would give a damn about what the other person looked like or what they did 30 years ago. But this isn't a perfect world so until everyone stops being stupid that's just what's going to happen.

Can I just say that who ever is making this big deal about running over animals especially the one who mentioned running over my daughter-lighten up. It's not like anyone did this on purpose. For the love of whatever, if it bother's you don't read it I made this thread because I just wanted to share an experiance. I got over running over the bird already. Stop trying to analyze everything so much. -
Favorite in what catergory? Because there are quite a few. Male villain, female villain, favorite idiodic anime character? Favorite good guy? There are just so manyto chose from? 1.Favorite anime female villain: Well, I have to say Kagura from InuYasha. She's well, let;s see. I like how she stands up to Naraku despite the fact that he could kill her in a moments notice.
She even tries to escape him by getting Sesshomaru to steal the shikon no tama
Kagura also has a really nice powerful attack. But most of all I think it's her ambition to be free from Naraku even if it means death that makes me like her so much. 2. Favorite manga female villain: Sailor Heavy Metal Pappilion from SailorMoon stars arc. I can't really remember much of her since she only appeared for one act in the manga, but I did like her costume and her attack. Even the way she appeared in the grave yard surrounding SailorMoon with butterflies was pretty. To bad she only appeared in the manga 3.Favorite anime male villain: Ichiro or Ichan from Angelic Layer. okay, so maybe he's not really a villain, but he is pretty nasty sometimes. The things he does to his co-worker are rather questionable. Like in the first episode where he had the poor guy put a squid in his pants. That's just plain wrong. 4. Favorite manga male villain: This is a toughie. I guess Ryo Okayasu from Peach Girl. He's nasty, vindictive and pretty much a criminal, but he's kind of cute. So He's a decent villain. 5. Favorite anime good guy female: Dita from Vandread. She's just plain funny in the episodes I've watched. And I love how she innocently uses all that sexual inuendo because she doesn't realize that it is what it is. In some ways her naivete reminds me of me. Scary isn't it? 6. Favorite manga good guy female: Tie between Kira Aso from Mars and Momo Adachi from Peach Girl. They're both the sweet somewhat misunderstood type. Kira over comes all sorts of bad crap like
Her stepfather raping her
and begins to come out of her shell. and Momo even tho Sae pulls all sorts of crap on her Momo is still a nice person and even tries to help Sae a few times. Plus Mom has a bit of an edge to her. 7. favorite male good guy I don't know of one in anime that I really liked so I'll just say Kiley from Peach girl. He always stuck by Momo no matter what and he even tried to help Toji see what was going on. Heck, if it was at all possible, I'd ahve Kiley for a boyfriend. So ends my list
Cheney beat Edwards like a red headed stepchild in the Vice Presidential debate, and I think that significantly helped express the Republican Party position on many key issues. Edwards smile at the beginning of the debate was pricelessly cheesy.
I have to dissagree with that comment. I think Edwards did much better than Cheney on that debate. Infact, I got rather annoyed with CHeney after he repeatedly brought up Edwards' senate record mentioning that it wasn't a very extensive record. After a while Edwards mentioned that he was a young senator (true) and that a lengthy resume doesn't necessarily mean that the person is fit for the job. So you thought Edwards' smile was cheesy? I thought it was cheesy when Cheney mentioned during a tour a few months back that 'if you thought 9/11 was bad just watch what happens if you vote for John Kerry.' Heck, forget cheesy, I thought it was downright unprofessional.
However, I think that Kerry?s comments about Mary Cheney were completely uncalled for, and since Edwards also made a comment about her sexuality, it?s obvious there?s a concerted effort to out her for political advantage. That disgusting tact is what, for me, made Bush seem like the winner of the third debate.
I have to agree with you on that. Who gives a crap what the sexual orientation of a candidate's child is? I wasn't considering voting for Cheney's daughter she's not running. Not that it would matter if she was, I don't chose a candidate based on sexual orientation, religious afiliation or any other pointless thing as that. Although, to be honest part of the reason I'm not voting for Bush is because he relies too heavily on his faith. I do think the out her thing is kind of funny though. The majority of America knows that Mary Cheney is a lesbian. There was a cartoon on it back in July in one of the local papers Bush and Cheney were sitting together and Bush is saying: So, explain to me again why you won't support my ban on Gay marriages. Okay, that may have been pointless to the post, but you understand what I meant. I do feel that Kerry did much better than Bush in the first two debates. Bush looked too ansty and made all sorts of faces during the time Kerry talked. I thought that was rude. HOnestly though, I wish they'd both leave out things that happened 30 years ago and everyone's personal lives out of debates. Someone should pass a bill about that. Only problem is that they're all politicians, so that would mean that if a bill like that was passed everyone would have to resort to silly things like telling the truth and sticking to the issues.
-
What is a coache? Yeah finally the bills blew off their stink and beat somebody, though I don't think the season is savable. The least we can do is get a better record so that we give the cowboys a crappier 1st round draft pick. Of course it seems like the Bills are starting to show signs of life, with Mcgahee playing for a full game and a couple of changes on D. I'm still hoping that Bledsoe gets scrapped soon, he's being paid way too much.
Hey, you try typing with a 3 week old baby in your arms and 2 hours of uninterupted sleep. I only misspelled one word, so I think I did pretty good. I actually manged to catch 4 games that the Bills played while I lived in Texas last year. Bledsoe made me sick last year...I've never screamed at the TV so much-well, except for the time that I watched the State of the Union address when Bush declared a ceasefire. I do agree he needs to be scrapped.

WHo ever mentioned the twitching squirell made me think about what my brother mentioned last night about the time he hit a rabbit. He said he was driving down Buffalo RD/ Rt 33 which is a rather busy street when he hit a rabbit. He says that he felt this thump so he knew he hit something. Then he looked back and saw this rabbit twitching in the middle of the road trying to get up. I think it was about 11 years ago but my mom narrowly missed hitting a deer with her mini van. She was driving to Buffalo on 490 when she saw this deer running across the highway. Instead of slowing down, she sped up and the deer ended up going through the back of the van (seriously, the back of the van. In one end and out the other. Then it ran off into the woods and the DOT called the police to shoot it. The police actually asked my mom if she wanted to keep the antlers. The really sucky part is that we were about to sell the van before the deer went through it so my parents had to trade it in for less than before. I'm glad it was just a bird though, I'd feel pretty bad if it was some kind of domestic animal. -
oh man! The Bills actually won a game today. You see the Dolphins and the Bils had this game today and who ever lost would be a really big loser instead of just a loser. And well, the Bills are now just losers instead of really big losers. It was either the coache's birthday gift. Or the coache's threats to trade all of them.

Catchy title, eh? I thought so too. Ahem, anyway the topic of this post is kind of odd. I was driving my car on one of the side roads around my town today and while I was driving along this pheasent comes running across the road. Then just as my car comes towards it, the stupid pheasent starts walking real slow. I didn't have time to stop and I didn't feel like swerving into on coming traffic with my daughter in the car, so I did what any other motorist in my situation would do...I ran over it. Then after I looked in my rear view mirror and saw the feathers flying up in the air and the cars behind me going around it I realized it was dead. So there you have it, I'm a murderer. But now that I look back, I remember that the bird did slow down when it saw my car...so I think it was suicidal too begin with. The pheasent wanted to die! So, I was wondering, have any of you ever made road kill out of a creature crossing the road? Or did someone you know do it? I want some good stories so I can feel less bad about myself. Even if my brother does the same thing.
-
Okay, so the three debates have been held, finished and reviewed. I guess. According to most polls Kerry won all three debates. Except possibly in Florida because they have to do a recount. Heh heh heh. (well, you try to be alert and everything on three hours of sleep and taking care of a baby.) So, what do you think? Did Kerry win all three debates, or did Bush? Was it a tie? Or maybe a 2:1 ratio? Anyways, let me know what you think on that. I'll giv my reply later.
That's the way things have always been done and the only reason not to follow it is because you're some bra-burning feminazi with hairy armpits, in which case you'll probably never get married anyway.
Well, yeah, except for me and my cousin and well like a thousand or so celebraties...like Faith Hill who's been married to Tim McGraw for a while now and Shania Twain. Both of whom don't have hairy pits. Besides it may be tradition for some Westeners, but there are also quite a few cultures who pass on the mother's name instead of the fathers. But Wrist Cutter, I guess if it's really what you want I say she takes your name and you take hers.
