Man, I hate it when people tell me "Nice shirt!" Half the time I don't even know what shirt I'm wearing. Not to mention I don't care what what people I don't know think of my shirt.
Yeah I agree. Whenever I hear nice shirt I always think there is some alterier motive and they were really thinking nice breasts. Now nice shoes. That's a compliment I don't mind. I spend three hours picking out a new pair of shoes. So when you compliment my shoes I feel like hugging you! :animeswea Ok for anyone who offered to take my place at work. The option is still open for any day this week I have a few 3-11 shifts open. You just have to wear the maroon polo shirt and some khakis and sneakers. Don't worry I am one of the few employees with a certification at that building and there isn't that much to do. I'll even split the pay. So... hmm Chibi #2 my mom will be in Lancaster next week. Maybe she can get an Amish person to dance.

I just want Chibi #2 to know that I waved at some Amish today. There was no dancing involved. Probably because it was cold out. And if you don't get this post it's because you are not cool enough. That said I have to work at 6AM Eastern Time does anyone want to take my place?
Josh if you're offering professional hitperson services, might the syndicate of disgruntled housemates avail of them ?
If he is Gavin, I want to be signed up as well. Josh, do you have a package that'll kill my boss and make it look like an accident? Off this topic- I think I may be reading the World War 2 history book wrong- but did the Japanese invade Austrailia? Because I kinda forgot about that. Except that they made that movie Austrailia but I never watched it. Okay and I know this is early. But I think that I am definately nominating this thread for the 2009 Nifty Fifty awards. And you can quote me on that.
Well, if my mom can get over planes I'm sure you can Chibi, my mom is in her early forties and I managed to get her on one to come up and see me. lol. Of corse she was white as a ghost when she got off, turbulence and all... lol.
My mother laughs at your mother. Well she would if she knew her. My mom flies for a living. She trains peopel from home on some computer program then she flies to where ever she has to train live. Right now she's in Lubbock. It was really nice when I was living in Killeen and she had to train in Austin because she'd stay with me. Maybe she can do that when I move out of state again. Chibi #2 planes aren't that bad. I've already told you you're more likely to crash in a car than in a plane. *removing what she just typed since it could be inappropriate* That said, people have seriously got to stop pooping at work! I did two showers tonight because of that!

I Forgot What You People Look Like (Image Heavy)

Seriously do you want to know what I look like now? Like right now? I have a small child so please be advised I am not all that hawt. I'd gone to visit my friend Lisa in Troy last May so we went playground hopping with my daughter. I'd forgotten to mention that my boyfriend was there too. and my daughter wanted to do the monkey bars. And yeah seriously that's all I feel like sharing. Told ya I was not hawt. -
My friend who just got into Princeton, Dartmouth, UPenn, and Brown and is now bemoaning to me the difficulty of choosing between them.
Tell your friend Go with UPenn. At least they have a basketball team that people talk about. Or maybe he/she can just do eenie meenie minie moe? Or if you can't tell your friend any of that, just kick him in the butt and walk off laughing.:catgirl: I'm trying to be all adult and not eat ice cream for breakfast. I should save it until I have an empanada for lunch- even if I have to deep fry the dang thing! I don't really like fried food that much. And one of the cooks at work is trying to make up for cooking 'baby cows' Odd eh?
MP stands for Member of Parliament. An MP is the equivalent to your Congressman, pretty much. In Australia, MPs reside in the House of Representatives. The upper house here is called the Senate. So those members tend to just be called Senators rather than MPs (although I think "MP" is just sort of a catch-all term). Where in Britain you have the House of Commons (lower house) and House of Lords (upper house).
Okay thanks for that. The term is just new to me. ( I read it in a WW2 day by day book I borrowed from a resident) I know the whole thing about Parliment (My boyfriend is Canadian) especially with Harper shutting down the Canadian Parliment after the no confidence vote and trying to keep his job even though he has no power. Anyways in Canada they do like the British (quite fitting when you've only been independant from that country for 90 years and Queen Elizabeth II is still the Queen) and they have the house of Commons. Not sure on the house of Lords. Again thanks.... So now what do I talk about?
Sounds like a good argument for living in an apartment instead. Still get the stupid ones, just in lower numbers, at least within your living space that is. =P
It's no use where ever you go to live. Stupid and annoying spreads fast and it can live in a variety of climates, living spaces and social classes. Now for more off topic: What does MP stand for in the British and Canadian government? I know that in the military it's Military Police, but that doesn't make much sense in the format I read it in.

Well I got one of my friends real good this morning. I was going on about having to lend my brother money then I said oh yeah, by the way I'm breaking up with Lee. She was like what? Why? So I told her that it was because he was too short (he's 5'4 and I'm 5'5) and had ugly shoes. At first she believed me, then she said: *******! I said I wasn't going to fall for that today! I can't believe you! You're such a *****! Then left a few messages on my boyfriend's facebook about how I'm evil and that I was being a ***** and how I'd better have protection the next time we meet up. All in all a good day.
On a related note, prolonged living on the same floor of a concentrated mass of collegiate societal rejects who have parties at two, fights at four, crap in shower stalls, and pull fire alarms in the middle of the night also tends to increase murderous desires. Shall we form a coalition?
Only if I can join. My git of a supervisor needs to be taken down a peg or two. At this moment I am eatting the crust from a chicken pot pie (the best part IMHO) and have read some more of The Other Boylen Girl by Philipa Gregory and am constantly thinking OMG this girl got married when she was twelve years old! That is bloody insane! I'm also doing a virus scan and wondering what my friend Lisa is going to do to me now that I have played a joke on her. I told her I was breaking up with my boyfriend because he was too short. ;) And James do Australians like Americans or Canadians better?
That sounds more earth (the stubborn part) than fire. :)
I don't know, Zuko is pretty strong willed and stubborn.
OMG those owls are F---ING scary!! I hate owls!! *runs away to hide somewhere* I wish I could be an Earthbender :(
Well at least it wasn't clowns. Because I don't like clowns. They scare me. Especially after than one ep of CSI where the woman and her husband killed a clown... I don't know where this was going. Ooh Earthbending... nope, I'd rather be a fire bender. Just as long as I didn't end up being a crazy fire bender because that would just be horrid. Hmm anything else? Well what about a picture of Sokka since we're talking about Bending?
Oh, but **** stand up coasters. Those things are terrifying and can't be comfortable. I refuse to ride them.
The only stand up rollercoaster I've seen is at Canada's Wonderland near Toronto and when I was there I was too short so I couldn't ride it. I think they have something like that now at Darien Lake, but I haven't been there for about four years. I hope to go this summer though. I think if I have to I will drag my friends on the coasters, or just go with my sister-in-law. I love roller coasters. To James: I've never had the tension pains you mention after riding a roller coaster, but I have learned to to try and hold my head still because my head always gets slammed around and I get my poor ears pounded :animecry:

Hah! Chibi # 2 is at school now so she can't do this thread. So as Chibi #1 I'll do it for her. Aren't I nice? Okay so tomorrow is April the first. April fool's day. I've heard that in some countries the pranks are only supposed to last until noon and who ever does pranks after that is called an april fool. So in that respect I'm wondering what people may be planning for pranks (one of my co-workers is going to call in sick while she's in the parking lot to mess with one of our other co-workers) or what pranks they've done in the past. Or even what pranks have been pulled on you. Yeah that's it from me. Happy pranking.

The OtakuBoards Nifty Fifty of 2008 (Final)
Hmm I guess I'd have to try it and see how good it is. In reality pizza is something hard to ruin, so I figure it would turn into something like automobiles.
On the contrary Pizza is very easy to screw up. I mean have you ever been to Chuck E Cheese? Worst bloody pizza ever! And they actually promote themselves as a place with good pizza! I couldn't even get my dad's dog to eat it. I'm very particular about pizza. It was next to impossible to find good pizza in central Texas, even the chain places screwed it up. And let's not even go there on everyone screwing up pizza themselves. I tried to make pizza from scratch using the pre-mkade dough and the dough wouldn't cover the whole pan, and the sauce and cheese was all runny. I think I won't do that again :animeswea Unless I can put it on youtube for a laugh.

I'd want to be a fire bender? Why you may ask- because I like fire. Okay yes that was a little- well maybe disturbing? Well okay so part of the reason I picked fire bending is because it seems like the most useful of all the bending abilities (aside from Toph and her
metal bending at the end of season two. Because metal bending is pretty cool and in anyone's defence metal is considered an element in the chinese zodiac. So you can bend metal
so Toph equals pwnage) because you can do so many things with fire. You can cook things. You can create heat. You can creat light. And if you were lost you could put up a flare. The other part is because from what I've seen I closely resemble a fire bender personality wise. I have a bit of a temper like most people from the fire nation and a sense of honor. Okay so only Zuko and Iroh have shown honor. But fire benders are very strong willed and stubborn. Second on my list though is being a water bender because they have a strong sense of family and some water benders are healers. Healing is what I do for a living. Well Chibi # 2 great thread.

Yum! I friggin' love S'mores pop tarts and V8 Fusion in Strawberry banana. Not together though... Hmm.... Gonna start a thread because of my sugar high. Okay so we have a new nurse at my full time job, but she's like a clone of our Executive director which is not a good thing. Actually a co-worker of mine said she's a pompous ***** and then another co-worker said that between the new nurse and the ED they don't even have one braincell to share. Because let's just face it- she's not nice she's obnoxious- but sadly it's not illegal in the state of New York to be obnoxious and create a hostile work environment. Okay now that's done, more pictures. Because I don't know sometimes pictures create conversation: What kind of conversation does this start?

My ex told me last night that since he pays for our daughter's medical coverage he shouldn't have to pay for half the medical bills. But that was after he said that he'd only pay for half the bills if it wasn't because of some coverage error. Maybe I shouldn't've told him to be a man and pay for something for once. But that was also after he said he was supporting me on 475$ a month... odd since I've been working for the past four years and I support myself. But isn't he a wonderful guy? That said: YOu know what? I had to do that.
Aw man... I've been here six years also. What a life I've led. But I haven't shown my face around these parts in months due to the military stealing me from my home and making me shoot stuff. Pumpkin though, I remember you. And how at one time you changed your name and I'd asked if it had anything to do with Memoirs of a Geisha. And now that Chibi 2 and I have YIM and have odd conversations I think that will be a new fond memory.

Worst Food Service Experiences
ChibiHorsewoman replied to chibi-master's topic in General Discussion

With that, you snap a picture of the offense, then you send it to the health board of inspectors and get their butts shut down. That's so a violation in so many ways.

Okay everyone mark this date down because I'm agreeing with Raiha. :o The Department of health has a lot of guidelines and one of the biggest is that any food service employee or worker who comes into contact with food has to wear gloves at all times. I'd've made a fuss loud enough to get the manager. Or I'd go out to my car and come back with a pair of surgical gloves from the box I keep in my car. Yes I would so do that! -
