Anime Anime Characters most in need of Queer Eye intervention
ChibiHorsewoman replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in Otaku Central
What about Relena from Gundam Wing? She's always wearing those goddess awful dresses that look like they're from the eighties, or some horrid suit. Or even a rendition of some tacky 18th century outfit. Oh man, that was scary. I think the entire cast of Gundam Wing should be Chloroformed, have their weapons removed (this includes you Ms. Peacecraft) and be made to submit to an entire Queer Eye make over. After that the fab five can get down to business with the cast from SailorMoon and so on. They can start with Mamoru and just burn that stupid green jacket of his. I think he only wore one decent outfit the entire five seasons. and that was the third season when in the episode where he told the inner senshi about the outer senshi. And no, Mamoru doesn't get any credit for being Tuxedo Kamen, because for most of the first season he had no clue who he was and the second season he was the Tsukage no knight. Infact for that he should be labotomized. -
Farewell to my Youth (or sometthing to that effect) which was on tonight was pretty funny.
I especially liked the end where they were trying to get back at Myoga for not telling them that Shoku was the one possesing them. They tried to make him get married and Myoga ended up escaping on a cat.
Another funny part of that episode was when InuYasha was possesed
and he ended up going after Shippo and calling him a naughty boy
I just found the entire episiode entertaining. Maybe it's because I'm easily amused

Anime Divorce Court: Worst Anime Couples!
ChibiHorsewoman replied to MillieFan's topic in Otaku Central
However I do find humor in the two lesbian salior scouts. lol
You really should get out more. How the hell are Lesbians humorous? Okay anyways I would like to say that it would be hilarious to watch ChibiUsa and Shippo try to make a go of it. Come on who hasn't thought of it? They're both hyper at times, the youngest (debateably) of they're respective groups and there are probably anti-shippo websites out there. However, Shippo is still somewhat cute where as ChibiUsa is just so not cute. And while Shippo is a demon, ChibiUsa is devil spawn. My guess is one would probably destroy the other with an obscene amount of uber kawaiiness. Or they'd try to knock the other person off either with their attacks or their groups. I can just picture Shippo telling InuYasha that ChibiUsa has a shard of the Shikon no tama and she's calling it the silver crystal. Sayonara ChibiUsa! -
Here in San Antonio, TX you don't have to search around too long to find a place with a 1.71/g rate or maybe a bit lower if you are patient. That isn't too bad compared to some of the prices in this thread.[/color']
That is probably the one thing I miss about Texas besides the fact that they shut everything down when they have 1/2 an inch of ice on the roads. Except Wal*Mart, they never close Wal*Mart. Man, I remember when I first moved down there in '02 and my husband and I would buy premium becuase we could afford it and it was only $1.21 9 at Diamond Shamrock (less on Ft. Hood) For that matter, the I remember when my friend Red was driving me down to Austin back in November and he decided he'd rather pay $1.29.9 than $1.32.9 for gas even though I was the one giving him gas money (1 1/2 drive from Killeen) Those were the days. Part of the reason TX has such low gas prices is becuase they don't have to import their oil and they have lower gas taxes than some of the other states (including NY) and their sales tax may be a bit cheaper. I've seen quite a few oil dykes going from I think near Lincoln (pop. 120) down to College Station. I could state other easons, but they probably aren't true. Off Topic: My hubby asked me if there was anything he could send me for my birthday. I said, yeah, some of the Iraqi oil we're supposedly fighting for.
It's simply logical, and using that as criterion makes the most sense, given what the breasts can be used for in terms of activity.
I use mine to knock people out of theay and to keep my shirt up. I'm not going to get into what else I or someone else uses them for. I have no idea why guys are so fascinated by boobs. It's like as soon as they hit 12 they notice that girls 1.) don't have cooties and 2.) Have something else entirely different from them Maybe it's the fact that I've just had a set of my own for so long that I've become desensitized to boobs.

BF & best friend troubles, all in one!!
ChibiHorsewoman replied to Redemption's topic in General Discussion
Plain and simple, your friend needs conseling. If she's going through that kind of trouble she needs to go talk to someone who gets paid $150.00 an hour to listen to someone complain and hit people with foam rubber bats (those things rock!) Having a family member go through cancer is no picnic, but she shouldn't be taking her frustrations out on you. It's not like your the one who gave her sister the tumor. -
I don't see what's so hard to understand here. I'm gifted.
I think they have schools for that. Heck, I'm gifted too but you don't have me on here talking about what I can put in my mouth. Well, until now, but I didn't elaborate.

BF & best friend troubles, all in one!!
ChibiHorsewoman replied to Redemption's topic in General Discussion
CHW, talking will not help--that is, unless your goal is to drive her over the edge, then, by all means, talk up a storm, heh.
Slowly but surely one person at a time. It's important to drive people who bug the crap out of you insane so they won't do it again. Why do you think we let Bush live? And who's to say that talking won't help anyway? Everyone's so quick to jump on that girl that nobody even knows. For all we know she could still be somewhat reasonable. Even if the reasonable needs electro shock therapy. -
BF & best friend troubles, all in one!!
ChibiHorsewoman replied to Redemption's topic in General Discussion
Have you tried just sitting down and talking to your friend? You know figuring out why she feels the way she does about your relationship and why she's doing what she's doing? She may be jealous, but she also may be afraid that she's losing you to your boyfriend if that makes any sense. Her nastyness and rudeness could just be that she doesn't know how to react in any other way. Of course, if that doesn't work you may either have to choose between your best friend and your boyfriend. Or just nip teh whole thing in the bud and tell her you just can't be around people who act like she does. But I'd suggest talking to her first. Make a certain time, stick with it. Don't bring up your boyrfriend at all. Just ask her what's up with her sudden change in demeanor and what not. I know it may make no sense, but sometimes there needs to be a balance in relationships. Hope that helps out a bit if not well, there's always foam rubber bats and a psychiatrists office. Chibi Horsewoman-She who is dabbling in psychology and should maybe stop now -
It's been doing down here. I think the highest I've seen it these past few months in Chicago was around $2.49 a gallon for premium.
Hah, Got you beat big time! I saw a place over by Syracuse charging $2.51 a gallon for REGULAR! Crap, prior to this insane gas hike there was this Gulf station a few towns over that was already charging $2.09 a gallon back in December for regular. Premium was $2.29. I wouldn't get gas there anyway because the woman who works there most of the time is a cranky old *bleep* who wouldn't give me directions to Tom and Nancy's Pizza and wouldn't let me look at the phonebook she had locked up so I could look up directions.

I read a lot. I go to my local libraries a few times a week, read while I use the TV as background noise and finish about two or three books a day. I also have an unhealthy need to read fashion magazines. They have some good articles in them besides just hair and make-up. Plus I've taken to reading AP (alternative press) magazine, Maxim (before I send it to Lincoln) and Maxim Blender. And of course the newspaper. Then there's fanfiction, manga and messageboards. It's reading but only in a loose sense. Lincoln reads a lot too about the same as me. My brother on the other hand hasn't picked up a book since he graduated high school last year. Actually I don't even know if he really read during high school. And my cousin michael is just as bad. I think it depends on the person. Some people like to read and write, other people go as far as reading the paper before they decide that the phonebook would be more exciting.
Fall no offense but that is bull ****. I have been in many breakups and in the end stayed best friends with all my exs. Other than my first but there is a reason for that.
I'm more inclined to go with what Fall said because I've had the enjoyment of being in such a situation. The only difference is I never really intended to go out with my ex's friend (My now husband) but I still got crapped on. My ex ended up coming into my place of work (not too hard to do when you work at a grocery store :D ) and started yelling at me about :"Is it true you're going out with Lincoln?" Okay, yeah, it's been four years and now I'm on somewhat friendly terms with my ex. But I wouldn't say we're friends by any stretch.

I pay anywhere from $2.17.9 (never buy your gas in an upscale suburb) to $1.89.9 (Corner of Buffalo and Wittier but only on Saturdays) per gallon of gas. Today I was nearing empty and ended up paying $24.55 for 11.9 gallons of gas at $2.05.9 a gallon. For some reason Rochester and Syracuse have comparable gas prices, but Buffalo actually has their gas going back down to around $1.95.9 a gallon without a special. (Mobil on Chili Ave will sell you gas for $1.97 if you buy a car wash and Delta Sonic takes .03 off per gallon if you get a carwash) I think it's because the cost of living is lower in Buffalo than it is in Rochester and Syracuse. The least I ever paid for gas in NYS is at Ft. Drum back in 2002 when I got my gas for $1.53.9 on post. I felt so cool when I did that. Never mind that I had to refuel by the time I got to East Rochester. But that's a bit irrelevent to the question. I'm sure Dan and the rest of the Eurpean and even some Canadian memebers may not feel so sympathetic towards us since they pay quite a bit more than Us states people do

He likes me, but I don't like him!
ChibiHorsewoman replied to Ryoko T.D.C.'s topic in General Discussion
Try getting a boyfriend. I know how it is to be in that guy's shoes and its not pretty. If you get a boyfriend, make out with him while the guy who likes you is looking, he'll stop going after you.
Okay first off, that's probably the best way to get him more interested in some sick perverse way because if he sees her doing that he may just become even more attracted to her. You know, the way some people want what they can't have? Besides, why would some random guy want to just up and be her boyfriend just so he can be used?
I don't think that there is anyway to get him off of you unless you are really cold and harsh with him. Maybe rejecting him is nicer than what i have said, you can try that to. Just say "No" and if he persists, use my advice from earlier as a last resort.
Candle magick is a wonderful thing. But then again, controlling someone's actions is frowned upon so forget I mentioned that. I'd say try to be as cold as possible. Become an ice queeen. Or as Reese Witherspoon described Selma Hayeck's character when she first met her in Legally Blonde- A frigid *****. Don't lower yourself to having to use people to get your point across, that's just creepy. -
I've ssen a bit of Fushigi Yugi. Most of it dubbed (except for the OAV) I've decided that Miaka though extremlyy annoying and greedy is deep down a loyal person. After all, she did
Refuse to be with Tamahome when she found out that Yui was in love with him
In fact from what I can gather, Miaka's one wish that she really wanted was for her and Yui to be friends again. She seems like a very well developed character. Although at times very emotional. She was even upset about that one seiyruu (am I spelling that right?) guy who
fell into the rushing river when he tried to kill her after they found the real Chiriko.
You can't help, but at least try to like a character like that. Even if she can be a bit annoying. So yeah, make fun of her all you want, but I'm still going to be a Miaka fan.
Even if in some ways I do blame her for Nuriko's death

Anime Anime Characters most in need of Queer Eye intervention
ChibiHorsewoman replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in Otaku Central
Oh man, you want to talk badly dressed villains? Tomo one of the Seiyruu Seven from Fushgigi Yugi is your guy. First of all that make up. He looks like a clown on acid. I think we can lose that. The feathers too. Maybe after he got those he could get some real hair. I don't remember much about his clothing, but if his make up was any indication I think Carson would have to bring some smelling salts with him to look at his wardrobe. Of course I'd recommend that the Queer Eye crew not approach him with out some talismen or what have you. But I'm sure that the whole endever would turn out for the best. -

Back in Tenth grade I was auditioning for a part in Hello Dolly. We had gotten to the part where the girls trying out had to sing Ribbons Down my Back. Well, my throat had been a bit dry ealier so I had been drinking the only thing I could find: A can of Diet 7up. Now I don't now about you, but diet soda makes me even more gassy than regular soda. My turn came up and as soon as I opened my mouth to sing the first note this extremely loud belch came out fo my mouth. :faint: Needless to say I didn't even get a part in the chorus (damn musical politics) :flaming:
I see you've finally come around to the proper way of thinking
Either that or you finally said something worth agreeing with. :p Think of it this way. If she ends up making him break up with her by suddenly being rude or obnoxious in some way, don't you think his friends would find out about it? Including said friend who she wishes to start going out with. That would be a bad thing because the guy who she likes now would probably end up thinking that she'll do the same to him when she's tired of the relationship. So in conclusion she wouldn't be doing herself any good by being dishonest. She at least owes her soon to be ex that. Trust me, I did that once to another guy and I felt pretty bad about it. Yeah, so he made comments about my chest size. But I could have told him that the reason I was breaking up with him was because I thought he was a jerk instead of acting like one myself

Long title strange thread. I got this idea thanks to a story I'm writing and my 2001 Gundam Wing calandar. But I'd like other opinions as well, who do you think would benefit from a fab5 intervetion? First and foremost is InuYasha. All he wears is that red thing. His nails need a manicure, his hair probablt has split ends, and he has no shoes. And that's only his clothing problems. He eats too much ramen (his sodium has to be really high by now) and he doesn't really know how to treat Kagome. Thom would probably make him cut his hair then get his nails done. Ted would teach him how to make some strange food and teach him how to appriciate fine wine. I fear the wine thing would end up like and episode from FY though. Carson would drag the poor hanyou through the streets kicking and screaming to buy new couture. I'd definately tune in if that ever happened. Second choice is the five pilots from Gundam Wing. Can you blame me? Hiiro with his spandex pants and velcro shoes! Duo and that pair of pants that enhance his hips. Trowa's entire outfit plus his hair! Quatre and that vest and pleated front pants. Wufei well we'll just take a detor there. And of course the rest of the deal. I think this set up would be ideal though because there are five pilots and five of them. Finally, Tsukino Usagi from SailorMoon. Bravo's starting up a show where the fab5 makes over women, let's start with her. She's a fashion victim if I've ever seen one. And her hair, she must need a bottle of shampoo to wash it just once. And don't get me started on how her cooking looks. Besides, after they got done with Usagi, they could move on to Minako. Well, there are a few of my well thought out choices along with what they'd end up doing to InuYasha. Does anyone else have any ideas?
I'm sorry about that, I was only adding shows that I thought were anime, and I didn't know that Case Closed was an anime. >_< No, I don't watch Cartoon Network often, which kind of makes me wonder if I've forgotten anything else..
Family guy and Aqua Teen Hunger Force. But those aren't anime and as you said you only put up anime. But as my husband would say: Poke yourself for not knowing Case Closed was anime :p -
In some ways it suprises me, in some ways it doesn't that guys don't care too much about breast size. Because some times I think it's all in some girls heads that all men are breast men. Maybe that's why the wonderbra is considered a great invention and there are so many magazines seeling breast enhancement pills To be honest, I thought this thread was about if a girl was a bit overweight or not would you still be attracted to her. If some guys could answer honestly to that I'd be a bit surprised. I'm curious though, would any guy date a woman who had fake boobs? You know, the kind that look like someone stuck two basketballs in the woman's bra ala Pam Anderson? Or even moderate ones? I heard that they actually stay cool even when it's hot out. To me that's just freaky. But what about everyone else?
