Originally posted by Dagger IX1 Heh, you may be forced to wait a while. From what I've heard, Inuyasha is still running strong in Japan, and shows little sign of stopping--even after five seasons and over one hundred and forty episodes. The manga, too, is incomplete, and so far consists of at least thirty-five volumes. This is all rather daunting... it doesn't help that the Inuyasha DVDs cost approximately $25 each, at a measly three episodes per DVD. It would therefore be quite impractical to collect the entire show through legal means. I just hope that Inuyasha comes to a satisfying conclusion, and that poor Kikyo doesn't get completely shafted. ~Dagger~
I know that's true. The entire series is building up quickly; and all we've got are about half a hundred episodes aired on TV. In addition to the ideas about the show and purchase of items; I personally believe that the show won't have a sad/tragic ending. Sure enough, the love triangle of Inuyasha, Kagome and Kikyo has brought a huge spark in making the series worth watching. I myself collect mangas and sometimes dvds; it all depends which one has my favorite episode. Yes, it's a waste of money, but it shows how popular the show really is. If Inuyasha wasn't all that interesting, then stores would probably sell every dvd for like what $10 or $9.99. That's my thought; because I would sometimes find almost any type of purchase from a show that's...well....no big of a deal in worth watching. That's how the economy works. :lecture:

You really can't tell whether the characters are ageing or not. I kept thinking about that a year ago. I always wondered that its been about what five years since we've watched Pokemon. It's Neverland I tell you. There wasn't a single episode that had a birthday special. Also, there's never been a single calender in that show; just clocks. There's no "Hey it's Monday or hey it's Friday." I mean, you can't even tell what day they started traveling. All you would hear was "Only two more months left till the pokemon league...." That sort of thing. So, my guess is that it's Neverland; in pokemon version, but no fairy dust. :ball:  :ball:

I love Transformers from the very beginning. A long time ago, my brother and I would watch the show every morning. It was the original. Now, since the show changed, we find it very enjoyable. My brother would always tell me what happen in the new series; this is when I would sometimes come home late afterschool. All the autobots and disepticans (sorry about the spelling) sure have changed. There are new voice actors and actresses playing the roles of almost every robot. I was shocked when I've the actor who played starscream. I never knew that many actors from all my favorite animes would be in this anime. Transformers Armada is a cool show. "Transformer.....robots in disguise......Transformers!!" And yes, I happen to know the theme song.:therock: :)

I never seen those shows, but I heard that they're really good. I myself use to be caught in that situation. What I believe you should do is this. First, you'd save what you have right now. Eventually when you earn more than $22, you could buy both the anime. This month, almost every video and dvd prices are going up. The money you have now can buy you (maybe) just one dvd; it all depends on what store you go to. However, if you play your cards right in savings, the choice is yours. You could buy one and save the rest for next time, or save what you have now and buy either one or both of them. The choice is yours; and there is no wrong decision. Anyways, that's what I would do. Go for what you think is best. Oh yeah...."Merry Christmas!"

First off, I would definitly want to say that this is my very first time posting a fan fiction. This is a pokemon fan fiction. In special note; I don't own any pokemon. Here's how it started. On a Sunday morning from 2:55am to 3:02 am, I had this weird dream about the six season of Pokemon. I ended up wondering what happened to Misty when the gang split up. (I know now anyway) Some movie, which I wasn't watching, played this music that made me dream this dream. Here it goes. (I'm telling you what I heard and saw in this dream) May's telling the flashback. Along the road, a boy with a red cap and a girl with long/short grey hair (who also wears a red hat) were traveling to a next town. The girl had a small thought about the boy she's traveling with. He misses someone; someone very special. She did heard and knew about another girl who used to travel with him. She had a togepi too. Somehow, when the boy kinda turns and looks at the new girl while walking, he can just see that red-headed girl he once knew. The grey-hair girl can see it too. She had a vision of how this traveling alone might of happen in the first place. *FLASHBACK* There was a scene of a resturant where a red cap boy, with a pikachu, a red-head girl, and a spikey hair teen guy went. At the center, the spikey hair teen was asleep on the bottom bed; the red-head was on the top bed. She looked down and saw the red cap boy tucking her togepi in bed; while smiling. She smiled and waved good night. She had secret feelings for him; and so did he. They both had a dream about eachothers feelings. The boy slept and dreamed about the girl holding his hand with love and a smile on her face; even while sleeping in separate beds. The girl also had the same dream; but there were doubts coming ahead. She saw the boy in one bed and another girl in with him. He turns and begins to kiss her. The red-head woke up and frown. "What if he likes someone else and not me?" She thinks. The boy was still asleep, but felt the same way. He, too, was worried. Then, one day, a flash appeared. I didn't see the cause of this, but there I saw the red-head; who was in a hospital bed and holding her stomach like she was in pain. The doctors rushed her out of the room. Then, I saw other trainers in beds at the hallway moving back and forth. Then, a young girl with a head bandage was in bed; and being sent to the same way the red-head was going. Until then, her bed stopped and the red-head collapsed on the floor. The head injured girl came out to help; but she wasn't moving. Then, the doctor's voice appeared saying; "She's going through the tough stage. If we don't act now, she'll probably....." After that, "I'm sorry. She didn't make it in time but....." Then, a nurse's voice came. "Doctor; we have her she's...." Then, the dream stopped; and I woke up; curiously. I wrote all of this on that night. It was weird, but cool. So, what do ya guys think? It's kind of a short fan fiction.
Originally posted by G/S/B Master lol, I have to put the Ash's father in my soon to be manga of pokemon :D. Anyways: Ash and Misty will marry eachother. They have VERY close connection. Brock will prolly marry one of the kimono sisters in Eckruteak city or officer jenny or nurse joy, and finally have a life. I noticed a pattern for ash meeting main characters that are girls: THEY'RE BIKES ALWAYS GETS ZAPPED BY PIKACHU!!!!! O.O
Soon to be manga? Dude, are you serious? Thank you. I would love to see that. And yes I agree; "Ash the BIKE ZAPPER!!" I know that's true. Uh.....what a minute? You mean to say that you make pokemon mangas?? :nervous: Real cool!! :freak:

In some episodes, there are some things that are free. For instance, food, potion, trips, maybe clothes, centers to stay in, and so on. That's a good question though. I agree; that's just another mystery we will never know. Although, my guess is insurance. Here's a reason; Ash broke two bikes. Thanks to that problem, one word, WELFARE!!! HA; just kiding. But anyways, I sure would love it live in that world. It's a free country baby; YEAH!!!!!!:D :D :D

Out of all the anime I've been watching, I can think of about five quotes that are my favorite. Inuyasha When Miroku holds Kagome's hand: Miroku: "Then do me this favor; I wish for you to bear me a son." Kagome:  Inuyasha: "Huh? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Toto-sai: I think I remember him saying this. "Can you Inuyasha open/widen your jaw alittle?" Inuyasha: (Opens his mouth) "Is this wide enough?" (Whoosh) Inuyasha: "AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!":moron: :faint: :cussing: :cussing: :angry2: :bawl: Boy, that crack me and my brother out of our seats. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cowboy Bebop Spike:"Jet." Jet: "Ya?" Spike: "There are three things I hated most; kids, pets, and women with attitude." Jet: "Ya, so?" Spike: "So tell me this Jet. WHY DO WE HAVE ALL THREE???" I love it.  --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Blue Seed Momiji: " I can't die now. I've never went shopping, I've never wore pretty close, I've never went on a date, and I'm still a virgin. Well, if I'm gonna die, then I want you to kiss me." Kusinagi: "You're a kid. I don't kiss girls wearing kiddy panties." Momiji: "YOU PERVERT!!!!" ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is my last favorite quote I know. Fruits Basket Anyone know this character name Ritsu? Ritsu: "I'M SO SORRY. I'M SO VERY VERY SORRY. PLEASE FORGIVE ME. PLEASE FORGIVE ME. PLEEEAAASSEEE!!!! I'M SO SORRY!!" Man; that killed me. I love that monkey. He's so funny.  Anyways, that's all I can think of. There're alot more, but only five remain on top. I love those quotes.:)

That's true. There are a lot of anime shows with the same actors/actresses doing the voices. I can name a couple. First, you have Sousuke(Full Metal Panic)/ Muilfuille(Sorecerer Hunters). Both are played by the same guy. I've met him. Believe me, he's funny. And yes, Scott McNeil does play Kouga, Piccolo, Duo, and other characters. I knew Kouga sounded familiar with Duo's voice. Also, there's Brock (Pokemon)/ Gailiar or something from the Slayers: Try again (the blonde dude). I'm sorry about the misspell. Most importantly, there are characters with the same voices in the same show; that's the disadvantage in knowing who plays who. For example, in Pokemon, voice actress Veronica Taylor not only plays Ash, but she plays Delia (Mom), Diglet and/or it's evolve form (forgot the name), and other pokemon. Also, the same person who played Misty plays Jesse too. Last but not least, the voice actor of Brock plays the voice of James. I myself didn't know that. That's the only anime I know with the same voices in one show. There maybe others I hadn't seen with this phenomenon. This is pretty cool though. It goes to show you how hard it is being a voice actor. These people sure do role play a lot; and that's hard work for their voices. "Drink a lot of water!!!":gulp:

A long time ago, back when I was about 5, me, my step-sister, my baby brother (who walks), and a few of our friends would role play any character from a Walt Disney movie. It would be any movie with prince and princesses. I'd always loved playing the princess. Then, close to my 10's, I would pretend to be a made up character in any cartoon show. It would be the Magic School Bus, Power Rangers, and other shows. I couldn't remember all of them. When the years go by, I would pretend to be in Pokemon and other anime shows. Sometimes I would imagine myself talking to characters, making out jokes, and go into any battle. As for the RPG thing, I don't know what the heck that is, but I've never done it. Last weekend, I tried out for an open cast of a show; or something like that. This was my first time ever auditioning for a role play. I hope I got the part.:D If not, hey there's always next time. :)
Originally posted by Takuya I only have one real problem with the show, and it actually has to do mainly with the movies. And that's that they keep screwing up the power levels. Mewtwo is more powerful than Mew, yet the two of them appear to be evenly matched. Entei is much more powerful than Charazard, yet the two of them have a very long battle. Not even Pikachu's lasted much more than a minute(if even that), but Charazard's was a long one. Celebi is taken down by Scyther and Houndoom, but later takes out a huge group of Pokemon with one attack. The only movie that doesn't have a power screw-up is Pokemon 2000.
Come to think if it....that is messed up. The movies did show that. You've got a real good point. It's almost like Entei, Celebi, and Mewtwo look powerful; but when it comes to battles against the original pokemon, it's almost like they're not as strong as they should be. The movie 2000 doesn't show it. (Thank goodness!!!) Maybe we, the fans, should have a talk with the directors about this situation. :therock:

I saw the movie. Let me tell you, it was great, funny, and wicked amazing. The settings and story plot were perfect. Also, the characters were cool. I knew Eddie Murphey wouldn't let me down. When it comes to Murphey in a scary movie, humor's always there. He's so crazy!!!!!! Cool movie; and funny ghosts. (Especially the singing statue heads.)  I laughed so hard, I could barely breathe.:bellylol: :rotflmao:

The games are ok; so no problem with that. I know only have two things that really need improvement. First off, the anime does show the same old story plot. They travel, battle, save pikachu, and go. They've got to add something interesting; more comedy, action(besides more pokemon battles), and so on.. The first and second seasons were great; but when the third through fifth seasons came, there were a lot of ups and downs. I believe the sixth season is begining to improve the show. More comedy is added.:) Let's hope the next season gets more and more interesting. Second is the other category. I think the movies definitly need improvement. The first movie became a big hit. I like it. Then, the second movie got better and better. I just love the Lugia song(in symphony version). After a while, when the third through fifth movies came along, the anime totally went down. I haven't seen the fifth, but the ratings show of some less ups and more downs. The forth movie got a little good, but it's just not good enough in worth watching. As for the third movie, I got really ticked off. What does Ash's mother have to do with this conflict? She's never been seen all the time in every episode. Why can't it be one of the main characters (besides the hero and pokemon); if you know what I mean? Since the sixth movie is coming next year, or some time soon, my opinion on the ratings would be that it's interesting, but not even close to worth watching. Pokemon needs to be more like the other anime show. The ones we love watching. That way, pokemon will keep on living and never dying. That's my thought, and I agree with it.:ball: :whoops:

Anime if you could be an anime character what would you look like?
Oukan05 replied to edward-tivrushy's topic in Otaku Central
Purple hair = Long, up in a ponytail, and a little dark. Hot Topic style = I'll wear a short-sleeve black and purple strip shirt. It'll say "Crazy doesn't even begin to cover it." That came from a button I bought. It's all about the Jean = I'll have on black and purple threaded jeans; with a long chain on each side. Boots = Black boots. Doesn't matter what style. Attitude = My character will be a nice, understanding, funny, silent, and the "I don't care" type. She'll be the Inuyasha, Spike(Cowboy Bebop), Haruko(FLCL), and Sano(Ruromi Kenchin) type. Complicated, but cool. Special note = She doesn't like dresses, people who think they're better than you, make-up, asking for stuff, and nuts(she's allergic). She likes music, computer, family, and pizza. I dreamed about my character. She rocks!!!:D :flaming: -
You know, I've heard about it. I personaly think it's weird. I mean, I love the show and would love to see the movie, but live action? How much hair gel do the actors need to keep their hair standing on end? Also, I kind of heard that the character Piccolo will come out in a 3-D graphic style; or something like that. Another thing is about Jet li. I heard that he'll be playing the role of Vegeta. I don't know; that's just what I've heard. Anyways, it might be interesting, but too weird. I think animated shows, that are turning into movies, should be kept animated. It's better this way; cause live action just doesn't work.

I love Inuyasha. The real reason why is because of what it shows; "Comedy!" In every episode, no matter what scene the series go to (sad, tragic, mysterious, romantic, scary, ect.), something funny always happens. Think about it; when Kagome and Inuyasha travel (in a sad, scary, or mystery scene), he ticks her off, and she says SIT. Everytime I see that, I laugh so hard I forgot about the scene they were in. Example; The gang travels to next town. Just then, a demon pops up and attacks. Inuyasha and gang fight it. The scene is getting worse when they're losing. Then, Sango gets pushed and Miroku catches her. (What a relief). Just when she was about to thank him, he places his hand on her butt; gets a loud slap on the face.   This anime shows true humor, drama, affection, and true meanings to life. It's filled with all kinds of emotions. Inuyasha is an all must see anime. It's not just action, comedy, drama, adventure, or ect., it's both in one show. I love the show so much, I've collected all fifteen graphic novels, the game, only two DVDs with my favorite episode, the single of "Change the world" (still looking for the album), and finally found the Inuyasha first and second movie in one DVD. I found it at a covention last week. They still speak japanese, but the english subtitles are still there. The show is great. One more note; "I love his DOG EARS!!!"
Originally posted by Belldandy Angel Maybe Misty's parents left them and her sisters had to take over. but that's an evil thought.heh.^-^;
Yeah that is evil, but I kind of thought so too. Only this time, I imagined that Misty lived in an orphan home and her sisters took her in. That was a daydream I had when I wondered what happened to her parents. I end up thinking that maybe she doesn't remember them. Poor girl. I bet that everyone had that theory before. Stories are being made up every minute; and it's driving me nuts!:worried: :worried: Oh the confusion!!:nervous: :nervous:

(If this was posted already, please let me know.) Ok, on Nov. 20, which is prbably today in this time, is my birthday. I'm turning 17. So, this is my last day as a 16 year old, and I want to celebrate the best sixteen years (including this year) for the best times I had in my life. Today I visited four young friends across the street. They were about 3 to 7 or 6 years old. We played jumping on leaves outside. I know it's alittle childish, but it was fun. They reminded about the fun times I use to have when I was thier age. I missed those old times; too bad I'm not 4 years old. My friends decided to celebrate my upcoming birthday with piles of leaves and an umbrella to fill it up in; so we can turn it over and pretend it's raining leaves. I never did that before in my life, but I'm glad I did. I'll never forget that memory. So, when tomorrow's your birthday, how would you celebrate your last day at the age you are now? What are the greatest memories you've had? What will you do for fun after your birthday? For those who's having a birthday; "Happy Birthday!"

Sometimes, I would watch the credits; as long as they play my favorite song first. I love the matrix reloaded movie too. The only thing that got me into watching the credits was waiting for the sneak preview of matrix revolution. The movie "How the Grinch Stole Christmas (with Jim Carry)" played my favorite song during the credits. It was "Where are you Christmas." I just love listening to that song. Faith Hill is so cool. Anyways, it all depends on what comes up after the credits. It could be either bloopers, images, sneak previews of a new movie, or the songs played. So, yeah I would sometimes watch over the credits. "I better see some bloopers.":shifty:
I also tend to get very emotional while watching InuYasha, whenever
InuYasha and Kagome are about to kiss. I'm practically yelling at the screen: "Kiss her, you moron!!"
Sigh.
I remember watching that at a convention. I always miss the very begining, but everytime I always catch that moment about five times. I new it was gonna happen very soon, and it's about time. I love that scene; it's soooo cuuuttteee!!!!! :bawl: :bawl:

Is this part of Full Metal Panic? If not, I'm looking forward into finding it. I'm just alittle curious; because I've heard alot of different titles begining with Full Metal.:worried: I don't know if they're the same or not.:nervous:
Originally posted by Crimson Spider Actually, nope. Never thought about it. But look up Waters in the phone book. But on a serious note, they don't ever tell you anything about misty.
Yeah, they sure don't. It stinks, but I kind of wonder that maybe when the seasons go on, we'll soon (maybe) find out. I mean it doesn't have to be revealed. Sometimes, things are just kept secret or a mystery. Also, I wish I had a phone book on Waters. I really wish. We could talk for hours. Now that will be fun. :babble: :babble: :babble: :ball:
