Asuka and Dagger have made the deepest points, and I can only agree to them. Here in canada, we DONT get cartoon network, so I wouldnt understand how it becomes so big over there in america. And its true what Dagger said, "people like the bands when they have reached certain stardom, and claim to like them all along". I guess its society these days, nuff said with that quote. Here in canada, Cartoon network is replaced by YTV...the worse channel you could ever get overseas (if you dont live in canada). So, most preffer to download anime. But you know, with YTV is where EVERYONE gets to know anime, after ONE episode of, lets say, Inuyasha, the person that never know wtf anime was in the past, is no totally into it... And...thanks The Fizz, that WAS my question in the first place :P

I don't think anyone knows of this game. But has anyone played "Sonic Blast man" 2? I LOVED that game. In my eye, my favorite game ever...it was a party starter.

I study Kung Fu, if not the best martial arts ever. Why do i say that? well, go ahead, name me a martial arts, ive done it. And in my 14 years of life...the only martial arts i was into was Kung Fu, and will ever be into. I work out for it and all, martial arts is very usefull...watch this...sneak behind me!

So is this supposed to be tag that you made? If it is, then i guess its nothing more than just a picture of the guys and a font of metallica on grayscale. If its not a banner of your own..then explain to me what this thread is about.

The art didnt make it a bad show..but I do look for anime with good art to inspire me. What made it a bad show was the whole plot and stuff, and the characers and so on...

I noticed a long time ago, but never cared. Anime DVDs are good enough for me. I do rant about how much they cost, but I never minded the extras anyways (the extras of a normal dvd are hard to find for me anyways...like the mtv movie awards stuff in the matrix reloaded...maybe i never even looked for it). Anime dvds are fine the way they are, but if they lower, it will be the best phase of anime history. Like lower the prices, or just put more behind the scenes. I can't complain though, the voices of a distant star wasnt more than just 21 bucks (dvd) and it had like 15 extra features. Not bad, and it was the cheapest anime dvd i bought....in contrast of the Argentosoma dvd that cost me a wreckning 56 bucks and it only had 4 extra features.

Thanks people. I was actually watching it yesterday...and I disliked the characters a lot. I was kind of expecting Kagome to fight over Inu Yasha, who is a complete asshole. I watched 2 episodes in a row and I got bored out...and the animation was nil to nil. Also, the character design is still ugly. I wonder sometimes, overrated anime is everywhere.

To be honest...my last name fits every other name. My last name is from an italian origin, and it fits any other last name...and I wouldn't mind if my wife doesnt get my last name, I mean its her decision really. But it would be nice.

Now, can anyone LIST the movies they had wanted to, or had, seen the credits of below?:
-
Hmm...hey there. Seriously now i just want to ask. Ive never cared to watch inu yasha...the art of the characters and the design of the characters disgust me...but everywhere i go, and everyone i ask, they say "i love inu yasha".... .... I dont know...but what makes it so great? Can someone brief me up on it? i feel like im missing a lot.
Originally posted by OtakuSennen Heck, compared to Excel Saga
I wonder sometimes.... You cant really compare eva to excel lmao...excel actually tries to be dumb and chaotic (excel as in excel saga, not justthe character).

Hmm...i dont know...well, ive never liked marker, its why. I cant say too much about the picture, if it looks good to you, then it will look perfect to others.
Originally posted by Amity Ok? That's kind of awkward, but ok.
Not saying that YOU'RE shallow, but that little sentence right there....is shallow. I think CHW has a nice taste, an interesting one, and has a nice vision on things.
You feel guilty about watching DVDs? Or reading books in your room?
The way it feels, to read a book in that scenario....you can picture it come on, i know you can. And the dvds at night (i didnt say which kind) are very nice too.

"Sitting alone.....contemplating..." I love to just sit around in my very tiny room, get a book, read with the lights on, somethin in the backround like rain pouring at night and I am very warm inside. The Tv is on just in the living room. I also love watching my dvds.
Originally posted by Semjaza Azazel Why do some of these posts give the impression that people think the vocalist's name is Limp Bizkit? That's the band. His name is Fred Durst. It's as equally strange as people calling Clare Torry "Pink Floyd". Maybe I'm just reading the post wrong lol.
Yeah, that happens, and not only in threads and posts, but in real life. They actually call fred durst limp bizkit... if the lead singer is an icon, they call the lead singer the bands name...
Originally posted by Azure_Skies I got into a fight today. In association to my School ***$holes post, I finally punched a guy who was pulling my hair and getting in my face. But I kicked him in the balls. I have a black eye and three days in-school detention. But he got suspended for 3 days because he hit a girl!!! .......my face hurts. isn't that great?! It's the firse girl-boy fight seriously in Mid-Prairie history! :demon: Threads merged. This is an elaboration on the prior situation. It'd be best to keep it within one thread to limit confusion.--Charles.
Not nice...dont revolve around violence, you'll end up losing all the time. Instead, learn to control your anger, and avoid. If you cant take that, transfer schools.
Originally posted by maladjusted I call everyone kid. Don't take an offense with it. Is 'propping' a word to be used in this situation? So what were you expecting, exactly?
Sorry, i thought you used Prop in one of your posts (I didnt read it over again). And, I wont take it as an offense then. Actually, I wasn't expecting anything from the last two episodes, I just kind of watched to see what kind of ending the director would had come up with. Thats what I do with every anime, unless I really dont care too much, i try to think of my own ending. But evangelion cought my eye, so i let it run its couse. As you know, i didnt like the ending, and the movie ending was good..but the thought of Ragnarok (end of the viking world) was dumb. Shinji and Asuka where the only ones left...and everything else died, it didnt click me. I think Evangelion is the only series with a dissapointing ending, that ive watched. And maybe the matrix, I dont know how much of an ending that was...maybe they'd make an animated shorton the matrix ending...maybe not. Thats what I was expecting...nothing.
Originally posted by Bing Can I ask what P.O.D song ,and what Linkin Park song is at the end of Matrix Reloaded?
That would be "sleeping awake" and "Session" In the P.O.D to Linkin Park order.

Vash: New set of cltothes, he must STINK. New hair gel, hmm.... a cd player and new shades. Maybe a stereo. Alucard: A new gun, his other ones kind of suck now. One of madonnas new children books, maybe he'll learn to soften up a bit. A stereo, a McLaren and ofcourse... ... a fresh corpse. Shinji: ...i'd do him a favour and give him a couple of pills and a couple of grand so he can enlarge himself....bit of a girl. And a car. And a book of pictures of asuka just the way he wants to see her. Sawa: Well, shes from Kite, and she has been raped a lot so why not make her live the good life! I dont know, whatever she asks for... hmm....yeah... *thinks* damn it. Im braindead right now, I'll post some up later.

Their new album surprasses their last ones. Why? because... 1)they are not little kids that swear at the stupidest times anymore (hopefully) 2)they don't talk about mothers (in their live cd..."i f'ed youd mooom" "its good to have a bj from your moooom" and so on.) 3)They are mature 4)They are not immature 5)They sound harder and better. I dont know, im making my judgement from the first single from their new cd, and I dont know if they swear on the song because, ofcourse, it is censored. Plus, ive only heard it once. I found it VERY catchy in a good way instead of catchy in a way that I want to just throw up or beat something (aaaah the memories of their older cds). Hopefully they grow.
Originally posted by maladjusted Ho, ho, ho. In your dreams, kid. Not everyone hated the last two episodes. In fact, I enjoyed the last two episode of Neon Genesis Evangelion. What did you think the point of Evangelion really was? A fight between two biological mechas and Shinji would run in and save the world? I don't mean to be crude here, but the point of the series was to prod at the inner minds of Shinji and all the other main characters. The Evas and the Angels were sort of a side dish served with the whole thing.
"Propping" into the characters minds were already done well enough in the first 24 episodes. They DID not have to waste 1 episode and a half on those things. And the only characters they got over where Shinji and Misato anyways. Also, at the end of episode 26...all it left me was with a big laugh because i had wasted a good 48 minutes watching those two horrible episodes. Now, i'm not one of those people that dont sit and contemplate when things are rough and confusing. I liked the matrix because i contemplated on it and came up with my own theories on how its going to end and how it ended - same with eva. But the last two episodes? I found out about 5 things that probably raised up my vision on those two episodes...but the negatives where higher and more heavier than the possitives. There was really nothing to think about, just a big fat stupid joke. So the movies replaced it well at least, explaining this and that, not bad. And just a hint for next time...don't call me a kid.:babble:

:) is my school the only no trouble, lots of friends, very layback, smooth year school noone has these days? Geez. I've never had problems in school before, sure im jinxing it now, but I really never did. I almost did before though because i got into an argument with some girl, but that was in the past, i learned to avoid it. Key word is ignore, don't let things get to you unless they are important. I used to be called Yu Gi Oh because of my first name...so yeah, and I totally despice yu gi oh series, but to thosewho like it, its ok,they are humans to me. Guess what, half if not 80 percent of my school knows/likes/loves anime so...im not left out. And theres an anime club too...heh...

Ooops. Alright Ill talk about evangelion. Ok, I watched all 26 episodes, and like all of us, the last two sucked horribly. So, I bought the movie, and to my surprise, it wasnt taht good. I really did love eva though, it had so much deph, and it actually jolted on me a couple of times, something you dont really see in anime these days (at least for me). I dont think that eva is a mecha anime either. The fact is, that they put the mechas to kind of make people fall in to the whole thing of like adam and lilith stuff...so, instead of putting ag uy that has all the physics of adam, they put a mecha, a huge mecha youve never seen before. And to balance it, they put a couple of other mechas, and then they made angels, to make the whole thing confusing and all. Ir eally loved evangelion, not the best series of all time though but pretty good.
