Kayin Cloud

Kayin panted slowly and lightly from the exhaustion of creating his dragon. He knew there was no way to get the energy he needed quickly enough to deal with Lea or whatever he was fighting on his own. He heard Matthew and Rei arrive behind him. He glanced back, "Guys....what do we do here?" "What do you mean, Kayin? We defeat this enemy and go find Lea," Matthew replied confused. "It's not that hard to know what to do." Kayin answered, "That's not what I mean Matthew. I mean that..." "...That what if this is actually Lea? Right, Kayin." Rei said as she interrupted him. Kayin nodded. "Right...so let's say it is Lea...Everytime we attack...we're really hurting Lea...and this would have to be Lea or my dragon would not have found her." "So....if this....if this [I]is[/I] Lea...then what's wrong with her?" Matthew asked. "More than likely--it's some sort of encantation. But I know I don't know any way to stop it." Kayin answered. Neither of the two seemed to know at the time either. Rei suddenly had a glare on her face. "Rei...?" "That knight....he has probably done this to her. I swear I'll get him for doing this to Lea..." Rei said as she clenched her fist. "Well, Rei. You are right about that more than likely. So I think you and Matthew should go after that flame knight." Kayin said. "Well, you can't stay and fight Lea....You'll hurt her like you said." Rei argued. "I won't hurt her. I'm going to play as much defensive tactics as possible and try to buy you two some time.....!" Kayin turned around to stop Lea's sword with his sheated sword. "Now get going!" Kayin yelled. Rei and Matthew nodded and Rei sent one of her fireballs to trace the knight, and Matthew and Rei followed it's path. "Be careful Kayin!" Rei called back. Kayin nodded and forced Lea back. "Lea...if I hurt you at all through the rest of this fight....please forgive me...you can return the favor if you wish after we remove this spell from you...." Kayin drew his sword. "But for now...COME AT ME!!" Kayin shouted with intensity in his eyes.

TJ looked up from his seat as he felt someone tap his arm. "Hm?" "Just thought I'd let you know that they're starting to board passengers now." The man said. TJ looked slightly frustrated that he fell asleep like that. "Thank you so much sir. I really appreciate it." TJ got up out of his seat as the man walked off to get in line. He grabbed his boarding pass and threw his bookbag over his shoulder. He made his way to the line to board as well. "Wonder how long the flight'l be..." He said to himself. After some time of waiting in line, he handed in his boarding pass and got on the plane, finding his seat by the window. TJ sat down and put his seat belt on as he looked out the window. [I]'Bout time I get to sit at the window,[/I] he thought as he leaned his head back into the seat. Since he didn't feel like waiting for the plane to take off, he put his headphones on and turned on his Minidisc player and fell asleep near instantly. Some hours later, TJ was awoke be the announcement saying that they would arrive in Texas in an hour. He grinned upon hearing this and started to wonder who would be there and what they would all do together. But until they arrived he decided to head back to sleep. OOC: Sleepy guy aren't I?

"Hurry up TJ! I ain't got time to wait for your black behind. You got 5 minutes to get down here before you have to find your own ride to the airport!" Mr. Hairston called upstairs. "I'm comin! I'm comin....geez..." TJ shouted back. He was busy packing his carry-on throwing everything in that he'd need. He threw his three sketchbooks in, a 32 pack of AA Batteries, his CD Player and CD's, his minidisc player, multiple pencils, a change of tennis shoes, and a 1lb. bag of Twizzlers. He zipped up the bag and grabbed his suitcase and tickets. "Alright, dad I'm ready." He said laughing as he ran downstairs, tripping most of the way. "Took you long enough Smelly..." Mr. Hairston said laughing. "Hmph..." TJ shrugged and walked over to his mom. "Alright, mom. I'll call you when I get there and I'll remember to call Gram too." He gave her a hug. "Alright, TJ. Don't forget. You sure you'll be okay flying alone?" Mrs. Hairston asked. "Yes, Mama I'll be fine..." TJ smiled. "I'll talk to you later." He ran out to the car followed by his dad. They drove off to the airport in the Element and they got out at the front door. "Alright, son. You be careful and stay out of trouble." Mr. Hairston hugged TJ. TJ hugged him back. "I will dad. See you when I come home." He ran into the airport and went through the procedures of registering his luggage, baggage check, and went through the metal detectors. He took the tram to the waiting areas and got to the specified one. OOC: sorry g2g

Kayin sighed as he finished creating his creature. His lightning dragon ran ahead of the other creatures and Kayin felt even more uneasy. He remembered how out of control the others he made would get and shook his head. [I]Please let this one keep from being like the others....[/I] He prayed in his mind. But his mindtrack changed when he thought about Rei. She seemed much more different than before. It was almost as though she became an adult in seconds. He looked over to Matthew who had seemed to be thinking the same. He looked at Rei, "Well, Rei...I'm impressed. So far you came up with the first rational plan to get us somewhere." Matthew nodded in agreement, "Looks like we might find Lea a lot quicker now." Rei smiled, "Well it was only logic. Why waste energy, you know?" Rei was well aware of her own change and it was obvious from the look in her eyes. "C'mon we could probably rest for now until our creatures come back with a report." Rei leaned against a wall. Matthew nodded and sat on the floor beside her. Kayin leaned his back against the opposite wall, with a worried look on his face. He'd realized that they were probably far closer to finding Lea now but he wasn't sure what happened to Kaze. [I]I really...hope...Kaze's alright....But....what do I do about Rei...? I'm sure she will be okay but I have no clue what to say to her.......I gotta figure something out.[/I] Kayin thought but he was snapped out of it when his dragon returned. "Oh crap....did you find Lea?" The dragon nodded and growled as if talking to Kayin. It had been easier for it to find her trail since water conducts electricity. "Good job." Kayin said as the dragon climbed onto his shoulder. "Call your creatures back...we got a trail." Rei and Matthew nodded and called their creatures back. The dragon jumped down and began to lead the three and the other creatures along the path he could sense Lea on.

I hope you all can come; I can?t wait to see everyone! Hopefully we won?t have any problems with planes and such. As soon as you all get here, we?ll get you settled into a suite in the hotel, and then we can all go out to party at my place! I?ll meet you all at the airport in two weeks time, at seven, your time. His name was still saved to his computer so he wouldn't have to remember his password. He sent the PM to SimpleChaos that he would make it and was already getting packed. He grinned. [B]"Looks like I'll finally get to see everyone..."[/B] He began packing all of his things after letting his parents know and booking his flight online. As the days grew closer he grew more and more and anxious. OOC: I'm in the same zone as you you know Steff (GMT -5)

Kayin looked at Rei udderly confused. [I]Jealous? Of Kaze and I? I didn't even know that Kaze liked me...I mean as a friend maybe but....[/I] Kayin shook his head. "Rei...I'm sorry. I didn't know you felt like that..." He said quietly. He looked away for a moment, unsure of what to say about a situation like this. He sighed as he put his hand over his face and turned around. He looked at Rei by Matthew and looked ahead. [I]This is nonsense...The only thing important to me is this mission. If I let myself be distracted by emotions it could end up in a failure....I refuse to fail. I have to put my feelings for Kaze aside, find a way to solve Rei's problem, and find Lea so we can finish this mission....But I have no clue how to deal with Rei right now.[/I] Kayin clenched his fist and could feel the electric currents flowing about his hand. "Rei, Matthew....Let's go." Kayin called back as he walked ahead. [I]I don't want to hurt Rei but I'll have to think of a way to deal with this later....[/I] Kayin stopped in his tracks as he felt a stone beneath his foot shift. "What the?" Several spears shot across the hallway in front of him as he barely jumped back. "Kayin you okay?" Matthew asked as he and Rei caught up. "Stay back you two! I don't want either of you to get hurt. I'll deal with this first and try to get you a way through." Kayin shouted. Rei nodded and backed up, standing behind Matthew. Matthew nodded as well. "Be careful Kayin...I hope you know what you're doing." Kayin smirked, "Don't worry about it...." [I]I should be able to get through this trap if it's anything like training. The sensors seem to end a few yards ahead...[/I] Kayin took in a deep breath then exhaled. "Here goes nothing!" Kayin darted through the pathway and spears continued to launch. As they fired, Kayin slid under, flipped over, or, with his sword, blocked them. As he reached the end of the trap, he could feel the power source and sent a volt of lightning through the wall to it and shorted out the trap. Kayin panted as he started to catch his breath. He looked back at Matthew and Rei. "It's safe to come across." Kayin yelled back as he regained his composure. EDIT: I was pressed for time before...sorry :animeswea

Kayin felt saddened slightly as Kaze walked off so upset. [I]What is with this group? We decided to work together but now we're all splitting apart.[/I] IT MAKES NO DAMN SENSE!!" Kayin said as he broke out of thought, punching the wall in rage. He breathed heavily as lightning crackled about his body. He slowly calmed down and pulled his fist from the indentation left in the wall as the lightning calmed. He looked over at Matthew and Lea. "So Kayin, what are you gonna do? Go after Kaze?" Matthew asked, still slightly upset. Kayin shook his head slowly. "No...I said we're finding Lea...So we're finding Lea. I want to find my sisters just as bad as she wants to find Meiko but Lea is the mission at hand now. Although....it is dangerous to be alone here...." Kayin looked to the floor. "Kayin...?" Rei said as she stepped toward him. Kayin looked up. "I've made up my mind....We should find Lea first...She's alone somewhere too...she might be in trouble if that knight was involved." Kayin's eyes narrowed. "After that...I'm going to go find Kaze if we don't by then...you two can do what you will but I made my decision." Kayin began to walk down the path of the hall they were in with thoughts of worry...not only about Lea, but about his sisters....and Kaze. OOC: I'd add more but I gotta roll.

OOC: Kiba....STOP CALLING KAYIN A SHE!! *pants* thanks :sweat: IC: Kayin's sphere slowly faded and Kayin landed on the ground. His eyes winced shut as he sat up. "Unh...My head." He looked over to see that the griffon had fallen. He also turned to see a grin on Matthew's face. Kayin noticed that Kaze was starting to awaken as well. But what he didn't see...was Lea. "Lea?" Matthew looked over to Kayin, "Kayin, Kaze you two okay?" "Where is Lea? That's more important right now...We've lost one of our party...Something had to happen." Kayin said standing to his feet. "I don't think it was the gr-" Kaze started. "That knight got her...he knocked me out and took her away." Rei said rubbing her head, still pissed off at the knight's earlier comment. "What?!" Kaze exclaimed. "Dammit...this is because Kayin and I couldn't help. We have to find Lea before we find our loved ones." Kayin nodded. He looked up at the broken window and then to the glass shards on the floor. He clenched his fist. "No...None of this is right...Why would he just take Lea? Both Kaze and myself were exhausted....I don't get it." "Kayin we'll figure it out later." Matther replied. "Let's just go find her and then ask questions okay?" "Yeah...and we'll take care of that knight while we're at it...." Rei said, her eyes narrowing. Kayin nodded. "Let's move out then...." Kayin ran into the next corridor followed by the others. The mission had come to a pause and an intermission began....a mission to find their ally....

Kayin let out a sigh as he forced himself to stand on his own. He winced as he stood straight up. "Kayin...you okay?" Matthew asked. Kayin grinned looking only at the door. "I'm fine....don't worry about me..." He looked back toward the group. "Let's go...through the door..." Kayin and Matthew began to open the doors. As the doors swung open, light flooded through. Upon their eyes readjusting, it seemed as though the room was empty. "What?" Kayin walked into the room first, but barely. He looked around the enormous circular room. He looked up to the ceiling and spotted a large stained-glass window. "Huh? A window down here? But...It makes no sense..." Kayin soon regretted saying those words as the glass shattered and a griffon came flying down in front of him from the opening. "....You won't stop...the five of us..." Kayin weakly drew out his sword. Matthew stepped forward. "Kayin...you sure you can fight?" He looked back at Kayin. "We all know you're exhuasted from those imps..." Kayin nodded. "No matter how weak I am...I can still fight Matthew...." Kayin's eyes narrowed and turned white again. "I may not be able to call on anymore lightning...but it makes me no less of a shinobi...." He clenched his fist as he looked to Matthew. Matthew nodded. "I understand Kayin...Let's win this battle..." Lea drew her kitana, "We've come way too far to stop now." Lea stepped forward beside Matthew. Rei unsheathed her blades and nodded. "We won't be beaten here...." Rei stepped between Matthew and Kayin. Kaze slowly advanced to Kayin's side. She looked over at him pulling out her staff and then to the beast before them. "Let's win this one...just like the rest..." Kayin nodded and charged at the griffon...And so...the battle ensued... OOC: Sorry...can't add anymore...I'm pooped... OOC2: Kayin is on his last amount of strength...barely standing...just so you know

Kayin looked at the creatures who had just recently made an appearance. "This...isn't good." Kayin drew his sword followed by the others drawing out there weapons as well. "We have to eliminate these things quickly...their not always too smart but they're extremely strong." "Let's take care of these tresspassers!" The imps began a charge on the party. "You want a fight?! You got one!!!" Kayin said as he flipped over one of the sentry's heads and heel dropped him then threw several shuriken in another's back. Matthew punched the ground driving several earth-constructed spikes through three of the imps and then went on to attack with his wrist blades. Lea froze several imps and shattered them with her sword. Kaze and Rei were using wind and fire together to seriously burn the imps, even incenerating a few of them. Things seemed to be going well but the imps continued to fill the hallway. "This can't be good..." Matthew stated as he saw the imps enter the hall. "There are way too many foes..." Lea added. "...But we still can't stop here." "Right...there's too much to fight for to be stopped by a few imps." Rei said. Kaze grinned, "So let's end it here, ne?" She pulled out her whistle. "Kayin...how bout we whip up a storm?" Kayin looked at her confused for a moment. "Heh...I gotcha..." Kayin grinned and his eyes went blank with lightning before he closed them. "Matt, Rei, Lea, we need you three to just hold the imps back for now." They nodded and clashed with the imps. Kaze began playing her flute. Kayin began chanting some sort of spell. The imps continued to pour into the hallway. She finished the song quickly and nothing happened. Kayin was wondering what exactly she had done. Suddenly a large spirit of a bird appeared and started to fly around, starting to create a tornado. The imps halted and tried to run from the tornado but were all pulled into it. "Kayin...NOW!!" Kayin's eyes flashed open and he aimed an open palm at the tornado once the others cleared the way. Kayin sent lightning forth from his body into the tornado electrifying all imps within it's cyclonic winds. As the winds died down, so did the lightning. The imps all fell to the floor, shredded, singed, and lifeless. Kayin's eyes returned to normal. "Looks like...we're done here..." Kayin fell to one knee. "I used way too much energy....." Kayin rose to his feet. "Let's get moving..." The whole group was tired from the swarms of imps but they continued on... OOC: Btw nice touch Kiba.

Kayin looked on as Matthew ran ahead and then looked to the flames. [I]He won't get there in time...[/I] Kayin thought as he clenched his fists. "Matt stay back!" Kayin yelled as he disappeared. He dropped in front of Rei in a flash of lightning. He grabbed Rei and used the same method to move out of the way. He landed near Matt and set Rei down. He turned toward the fire knight before the others could speak. "Who are you?" Kayin asked, drawing his kitana out. The knight grinned beneath his mask. "That is of no concern to you...but you are tresspassing and it's my job to remove you...dead or alive..." He lit another fireball in his hand. "Preferably to me...dead!" He flung the fireball at Kayin. Kayin looked back and saw that Matt and Rei would have no time to move. He looked toward the flame and was about to drive his sword into the ground. But before he could, he saw that the flame was extinguished by Lea and Kaze. "Thanks you two." Kayin smiled at the two. He looked toward the knight and bulleted toward him. The knight wasn't expecting a full on charge and tried to meet his sword with Kayin. Kayin jumped over the blade and launched several shuriken into the knight's armor and electrified them. "Unh..." The knight removed the shuriken and readied himself to face the group again... OOC: Now just so you all know, Enji won't die at this encounter. Have him run away or disappear but do not kill him yet.

He looked toward the barrier. "But how do we get in?" Kayin questioned. "Simple, we break our way through." Kaze said in a matter-of-fact tone. They felt another wind rush around them, and it ran around the barrier, then Kaze nodded. She walked over to a point and made a small "X" mark. She pointed to it. "We attack here...Matt, Rei, Lea, and Kayin attack with your weapons...then I'll finish it." Matt readied his wrist blade and slashed on the "X" full force. Rei followed up with a twin slash of her Viper Swords. Lea landed a strong slash with her kitana. Lastly, Kayin slashed precisely in the center of the 'X.' He stepped back, "Your turn Kaze," He said sheathing his sword. Kaze slipped the two blades apart from their staff form and ran towards it, slashing with one blade, then turning and slashing with the other, there was a slight crackling noise, then the barrier shattered, all of them used their powers to create shields. "Let's go." she said, sliding them together again, then she strode forward, ahead of the others, the materialised pieces crunching under her shoes. "Right behind you Kaze," Kayin replied as he followed beside her. "We're on our way guys..." Kayin thought aloud as the others followed behind them.

Kayin laughed slightly as he rubbed his head. "So where do we start?" Kayin asked as he caught up. "Hm.....let me see if I can prod some of these people for information." she said, walking to a group of people and asking about the Time Family. She reported the information to Kayin, pointing to a large castle-like building in the distance, up in the hills. "Hm...so they're up in that place? We're there!" Kayin tried the same tactic as before but was sent back to where he took off from. "A magic barrier..." Kayin rubbed his chin. "I'll signal the others..." Kayin's eyes turned white as he sent a lightning bolt towards the others hoping that it would reach them. "Now I think we should wait for the others." OOC: Sorry guys but I can't think straight right now...this is an oppurtunity for the other to catch up and once we get there I'll have the enemies' bios as they appear

Kayin slowly let go of her shoulders. "You could have just told us that. I'm sorry to hassle you Miss uh...." "...Rei. Rei is my name. And I apologize for sneaking around like that." Rei replied. "Well, since you're in the same situation as the rest of us, why don't you join us? Maybe we can figure something out as a group." Kayin suggested. "Uh..you sure?" Rei asked, tilting her head to the side. "Yes...It's not much different from you following us anyways." Kayin said laughing to himself. He walked back over to the others, soon followed by Rei. "Kayin, who is this?" Kaze asked. "Why was she following us?" "Her name is Rei....it looks like she's in the same boat as we are. Her brother has gone missing....More than likely...this has to be the same person or group that's doing this...." "Bad thing is...we still have no leads." Matthew added. "It might be best to split up and gather any information we can." "How will we decide groups?" Lea asked. The group sat in thought for a moment then Kayin spoke up. "There are only a few areas we haven't checked according to all of our information: Inuyama and Kamikochi. If we split up into two groups, it will be easier to cover those areas. Kaze and I will check Inuyama. Matthew, Rei, and Lea, you check Kamikochi. If we don't find anything, we meet back here. If we find something....send any kind of signal you can think of. Agreed?" The group nodded. "Let's go then." OOC: Sorry...I'm about to fall asleep...gotta stop here

OOC: I pretty much did the same thing Sakura ^^; IC: "I am a master of the Lightning element." He studied her for a moment. "....From the feel of the wind you are still learning your element." "I'm one experience point away from mastering my element, I'll have you know. Just because I'm not..." she trailed off looking him up and down, "training to be a shinobi." she finished. ".......You're wrong...I'm not training to be a shinobi." Kayin responded. "Oh? so what's the reason you wear all black with a..." she trailed off again, she used the wind to judge what type of weapon he carried and recognised it immediately. "Shadow Sword?" she asked. Kayin was surprised for a moment that she recognized the blade. "Because I have completed my training as a shinobi and mastered lightning in a manner that surpassed my teacher." "Hmph. Proud of that aren't you? Well I was top graduate of the Academy that I trained my Element at and knew more about it than the teachers, I just haven't got complete control of how to summon creatures made of wind, some of them become demented if not given enough attention. Thus it is the only point I have not yet mastered." Kaze replied. "Have you learned to become your element yet? And no... I'm not proud of that." Kayin looked at his sword. "My master was killed once I left." "How unfortunate for you...Yes, I can transform into the element, unless there's a powerful anti-magical barrier around, even then I can do so for a short amount of time. I can stay in the form for up to 2 hours before I start using up a lot of my energy." Kaze replied. "Very good...I'm surprised you can't summon wind creatures under your full control then." Kayin said grinning. "Yes, the teachers that instructed me of how to do it always broke my concentration when they told me to change something small, like the shape of its nose." Kaze sighed. "Heh...Such minor things are not important if the creature is complete...I wasn't taught to summon anything so you would be so lucky." Kayin made a spark of lightning for a moment. "I was told Lightning creatures were uncontrollable so I never tried it." "Quite, but they're not as bad as Fire creatures. A friend of mine, Hi tried and they ended up scorching his clothes constantly whenever he tried. They are very hype-active, being made from fire which has an uncontrollable energy." Kaze said. "Yes I've heard fire creatures were hard to handle...Oh sorry but might I ask your name? If you still don't trust me I can understand." Kayin asked. ".....My name is Kaze," She replied slowly. "That's an interesting name..." responded Kayin. "Yes, my real parents must have known what my element was before I was born. It means wind in Japanese. That is where my family has originated from." "Interesting...Look I'm sorry to keep you. It was rude of me to approach you like that." Kayin bowed his head in apology. "It is no problem. But you seem to be in a hurry as well as me. Is there a problem that has you rushed and upset?" she asked, reading the wind patterns that were around his body. "....I should not burden you with my problems when you have your own..." Kayin looked up as he thought he heard someone else nearby. "I think someone's following us...." Kayin looked behind them.

Also, it will be a way to view your character's personality. _____________ A cool breeze blows past, the sky is rich blue, and not a trace of cloud can be seen. Children are walking to their schools every morning, and returning in the afternoon, having learned something new. But these schools aren?t the ordinary kind that you and I know. These schools are special, for Elementalists. And these schools teach from beginners to those who have almost mastered their element. But besides teaching how to control a particular element, the students are also taught how to enhance regular skills that anyone should have, and the regular school curriculum. Once someone has graduated, they are considered a master elementalist, unless they mastered their course before graduation, which is rare, but has happened and can be done. But these children aren?t learning how to control elements for the fun of it; there is a problem raging. In another place, and perhaps time, the sky is black all year round, the clouds blanket the sky so that only the shine of the moon, coming through is proof that there?s sky on the other side of the clouds. Storms clash, the wind howls, thunder booms, and the lightning lights up the sky with brilliant flashes. There, battles wage and there is a great source of evil. Anyone that goes there would feel it, even without being trained to sense auras. This evil is in conflict with another of its kind and the battle has seemed to end between them. However, these battles take effect upon the rest of the world? People have disappeared in several families and their reason for disappearance is unknown. Each victim of the disappearance has someone in their family whom is a powerful elementalist, and each with a different element.
