Kayin looks up to Karver even though they aren't very distant as of age. He looks to his brother for advice and an opponent in competition. They don't really have a grudge but they are most competitve when against other. Kayin is very confident in all that he does and always thinks he can beat Karver even if he's better at it. Kayin and Karver are almost always seen together unless they're with their friends. Kayin and his friends spend a lot of time playing basketball or video games. He never really associates with them any other way. Kayin plays and starts for his school's Basketball team at Point Guard so as to keep his skills sharp. When Karver and Kayin get transported to the Digital World during a camping trip, they start to learn how to work together more then trying to compete. Kayin meets Mijiko and he developed a crush instantly. Kayin got his Digivice and his Digimon, Lucemon. Kayin and Lucemon form a strong friendship right after they meet. Kayin and Kristen moved to the opposite wall of the cave, so as not to disturb Yuki. "We shoulld just let her rest for now." Kayin said as he lay his jacket over her. "Yeah she's been through a lot today. She's got burn marks worse than yours, Kayin." Kristen said. "We've been through a lot too...ever since we were reunited...we've been under pursuit. It seems as though our family bond got us into this." Kayin contemplated. "Don't be worried, Kayin. It will be those same bonds that get us out of this." Kristen smiled. "You're right. I find myself at my strongest when I'm with you. I feel as though I need to protect someone and Yuki only makes me stronger in the same aspect. If I feel the need to protect others, I become stronger for them," Kayin replied. "I know you do, Kayin. When we were younger you were the same way, whenever you tried to protect me, even in fights you knew you couldn't win...I always knew you'd be there for me if ever I needed you..." "And I always will be." Kayin interupted.

He is very kind and considerate toward others. His raising has made him extremely curteous toward everyone he comes across. He hates being weak but loves to make new friends. Biography: TJ was born and raised in Hokkaido, Japan before moving. He moved when his parents divorced and now lives with his mother at his new residence. His parents could never get along and TJ always saw their fights. When they knew he was around they did their best not to fight, up until the point where they couldn't do so. TJ's father raised his hand to his mother and swung at her but TJ took the blow for her. After this occurrence TJ's parents got a divorce when TJ was 13 and he chose to go live with his mother. TJ has adjusted to his new home and has made many friends quickly. He tries to avoid the 'friends' who seem like might get him in serious trouble. TJ's mother went back to her old job at the hospital, so TJ takes care of his house so his mother doesn't have to after working all week. One day, TJ had been riding his bike home after going out to eat with his friends when he had seen a light seemingly floating. 'Not often do you see lights floating around unless it's a firefly...' TJ thought. The light began moving and out of curiousity TJ began following it. (It's not what you'd call teary, right?)

Kayin had reached the tavern and saw a large blue dragon outside. [I]A dragon here?[/I] Kayin thought looking at the dragon. ["I'm simply waiting for a friend."] Dryoga said to Kayin. "You heard my thought?" Kayin asked in curiousity. ["You must not know much about dragons, do you?"] Dryoga replied. "Not really...Except for that one...Sorry to disturb you." Kayin apologized. His stomach growled loudly, "I almost forgot why I was here. See you, dragon." Kayin entered the tavern and took a seat at the bar. "I'll have the ham and eggs." He sat and waited for his food to come and studied his surroundings. He noticed a few others at the other end of the bar. He looked behind them and saw three girls talking. [I]I wonder which of these people here are the dragon's friend he's waiting on...[/I]Kayin thought to himself. Kayin's food had been ready while he'd been thinking about it. Kayin turned back around to the counter. "Crap...Oh well." Kayin casted a spell and his food heated back up instantly and he began eating. [I]Crap...Hot...but it's still good food...[/I] he thought after burning his tongue. Kayin watched as two of the men at the bar left and he watched the dragon still in wait. [I]Must be one of the three girls behind me that he's waiting for...but which one...?[/I] Kayin asked himself.

"If there are no further questions, you have your instructions." Kayin said after not hearing any response. "We will remain in contact. You know where to reach my associate or myself. If you can't reach us, we're probably trying to reach you." Kayin looked at his employees and then to Garett. "You're on your own time from now to 12 PM, which gives you about 4 and 1/2 hours of leisure time. If you need me I'll be at my office for the next hour and after that I can be reached at home. Garett, why don't you take a break? I'll cover for you." "Sure, but I'll be right back anyways." Garett replied smiling and left. "Well, I'm not holding you up, unless you three have more questions." Kayin said still uncomfortable with Rylia and Alina in the room. Kayin turned his chair slightly away from them. "Why are you so nervous? It's not like we're after you." Rylia said. "I'd be less nervous if you [I]were[/I] trying to kill me." Kayin replied smiling nervously. "That could be simulated if necessary..." Alina said jokingly. "He should be fine...just let him get used to being around you." James suggested ready to laugh at Kayin's disposition.

Kayin woke up after a clock in his home struck 8. [I]It's eight already. Guess I better get up and get something to eat.[/I] Kayin thought upon waking up. Kayin yawned and stretched and walked into his kitchen with his sleeping shorts and socks on. [I]Crap I forgot I needed to go to the store...I'll just go to a tavern.[/I] Kayin thought after noticing he was low on food. Kayin changed into his pants and put on a shirt. He then studied his Shadow Sword and sheathed it, putting on his back, tied over his torso. He put his Ryu blade sheath under his belt and put on his jacket. Kayin headed outside in the direction of the tavern. Kayin looked around and made sure he had enough money for breakfast. He found enough for ham and eggs and walked toward the tavern.

Kayin looked at his clients then to Garett, then returned his focus to them, [I]Just got to remember...it's strictly business...[/I]He thought to himself to remain focused, "Would anyone like to explain why you three are late?" Kayin said half-smiling. "I guess we lost track of time when we went to eat breakfast, Kayin," James answered. Kayin looked at his files, "You must be James." James nodded, "Listen, I'll let you three off easy this time. Next time, however, I'm deducting from your pay." Kayin said to his new employees smiling. "We understand, sir." Rylia smiled. She saw Kayin become uneasy. "Sir, why did you call us hear?" Kayin regained his composure and went back through the files, "I assume you're Rylia," she nodded, "Well, Rylia, my associate and I obviously have a job for you to do." "What is this job exactly, Kayin?" Alina asked. [I]Damn...Something's wrong with me...I'm really having a hard time with women...[/I] Kayin thought, "Why me?" Kayin accidently said aloud, "Ahem, I was getting to that miss Alina..." Kayin replied. "We need you to find one of our employee's assassins..."

I enjoy trying to solve the cases as well. It adds an element to the show that makes it much more interesting. Like you T.I. I didn't see the first episode either...

"Give me another one...to go." Kayin said to the barteneder. "I have a meeting to attend shortly." Kayin grabbed his drink and got out of his seat. He pulled a twenty out of his pocket and slammed it on the counter, "Keep the change..." "Sure thing Mr. Cloud. Have a good meeting, sir," replied the bartender. "Right." Kayin said waving. [I]Why did I have to hire not one but two women? Just got to remember: it's strickly business...[/I] Kayin thought to himself as he began walking back to his office taking his drink straight to his head. Kayin shortly arrived at his office. He tossed the bottle in a recycling can and sat at his desk. "[I]Are you two safe?[/I]" Kayin thought to his sister, while avoiding contact with Jerid and taking out any gaurds in the way. "[I]Yes we're fine. We should find a way out of here, Kayin.[/I]" Kristen replied. "[I]The only way out is through Jerid and Clesia...Even with the fog...it'll be too dangerous to try and escape.[/I]" Kayin responded. "[I]Well, is it safer trying to defeat them?![/I]" Kristen answered, somewhat upset with the response from Kayin. "[I]...In a way...yes. If we don't end this now, they'll somehow keep finding us. But in another sense..it would be wiser to run...and fight them when we're stronger. Let's go. Tell Yuki the plan and I'll follow you out![/I]" Kayin answered deflecting more streams of fire and offing any guards within reach. "[I]I'll be right behind you![/I]" "[I]Alright![/I] Yuki, let's get out of here. Kayin will meet us later." Kristen said quietly. Yuki and Kristen begin heading out of the fog as swiftlly and silently as possible. "[I]Kayin where are you?[/I]" Kristen thought. "[I]I'm right behind you but don't look back, keep moving![/I]" Kayin replied closing in on them. "See I'm right here." Kayin said pulling beside them, smiling. "So le'ts keep moving..."

One day Kayin was separated from his family at the age of 7 when a Dragon burned his house down with his parents unable to defeat it. A ninja warded off the dragon and took Kayin in to learn Ninjitsu. Kayin did a lot of training and housework while living at the Ninjitsu academy. After he was done with these he usually trained his abilities as a mage so as to exact his revenge on the dragon who killed his family. Kayin's master saw him practicing his magic at the age of 13 for the first time and decided to help his magic training as well. Kayin began seeing his master more-so like a father now. Kayin completed his training as a mage and as a ninja and found the dragon shortly after. The dragon told Kain of Terra and how he is important in assisting her. Kayin chose not to exact his revenge on the dragon after hearing about Yuka from it. "If what you say is true, dragon, I will find this Terra and find out for myself..." "Kristen we can't stop a warrior from fighting. We can only help them win." Kayin said looking at Yuki. "Come on before they strike!" Kayin drew his sword and Kristen readied her staff for battle with Jerid and Clesia. Kayin made the first move charging at Jerid. "Haven't you learned yet, rebel? I will simply burn you to the ground again." Jerid unleashed a stream of fire at Kayin. Kayin ran straight through, deflecting the flames with his sword. "I see you learned some new moves." "It was hard to study your technique since you're so unorthodox in your fighting." Kayin replied. "If that's the case you have more studying to do before you can possibly beat me." Jerid smiled and unleashed four more streams of fire at Kayin. "Good luck deflecting four!" "There's no need to..." Kayin said and disappeared. Jerid looked around and then up to see a flash of light in the clouds. A lightning bolt dropped out right above Jerid, but he instantly dodged the strike point where Kayin was seen with his sword drove into the ground. "Kristen! Yuki! JUMP!" Kayin screamed and released electricity along the ground. Clesia and Torinte easily evaded the attack, Jerid had somewhat of a harder time still receiving some of the voltage.

Kristen had to help Kayin walk since he could not on his own. Kayin stopped, "We have to go back. Yuki is in trouble..." Kayin said still fading in and out of conciousness. "We can't leave her behind." "You're in absolutely no shape to fight, Kayin!" Kristen scalded her brother. Once you recover we will go back and find Yuki. Until you do, we need to find cover so as not to get captured ourselves." Kayin nodded in agreement. "You're right sis. I will return the favor for what they've done..." They began their search for shelter. OOC:Sorry so short got to get to class!

Kayin walked over to Jing Li and Ryo. "Do you think we should go after him? I don't know him or anything but from what I hear, he's in no condition to pilot." Kayin looked over to Ryo. "Excuse me what is your name? I don't want to go addressing you as 'Miss.' " "My name is Ryo. And you're Kayin if I'm not mistaken." Ryo replied. "And I'm not so sure we should go after Zhi. It would be for the best however." "So what do we do Ryo?" Jing Li answered. "There's no way he should have left the infirmary just yet." "I say we go find Zoltin so he doesn't get put in something other than an infirmary." Kayin said. "I won't let anyone else get hurt again if I can help it..." Ryo and Jing Li looked at Kayin in confusion. "Forget it. I'm just thinking out loud..."

"Not this time! I won't let you try this again!" Kayin shouted. "Yuki supply massive water I have a plan this time." "Right! I think I see where this is going." Yuki forced a wave water into the air aimed at the flames. "Kristen!" Kayin yelled. Kristen added force behind the water with Thunder increasing its speed. "Now it's my turn." Kayin unleashed several bolts of lightning into the wave. The two attacks met forcefully. The water dounced the fire but the burst of wind still went through and the electrified steam cloud went through to Torinte. Kayin took the hurricane like hit and Torinte took the electricty, only slightly phasing it. "It worked well enough." Kayin's voive began wavering from fatigue.

Kayin struggled to break Torinte's grip. The cuts grew deeper from its claws. "Ghu...What do you want from me? Who are you?" Kayin said calmly. "I am Queen Clesia, not that you need to know. And as I said, I want you, but you'll find out why soon enough." Clesia smiled malevolently. "I don't understand...Why is this happening?" Kayin said to himself. "Clesia...Please let me go...I at least want to see my sister once more, since I have a feeling I never will again." "You may see her again, as soon as we capture her and your other friend." Clesia replied. "Leave my family alone!" Kayin yelled. Lightning surged from Kayin and caused Torinte to drop him out of surprise. "I won't let you hurt my sister or my friend!" Kayin summoned a lightning bolt from the sky. Torinte dodged it and it hit its real target: Kayin. Kayin used the surge to free himself from the ropes and fell to the ground. "You'll just have to kill me now if you really want me." Kayin said to himself. "KAYIN!" Kayin turned to see Kristen followed by Yuki who was carrying his sword. "Throw me my sword and get out of here! I don't want you two to get hurt!" Kayin yelled.

Kayin sheathed his sword and the tree collapsed into a pile of firewood. [I]That should be fine for tonight at least.[/I] Kayin moved the pile close to the inn for others to use and picked up 5 logs to take back to the room.
