[Rated M-for possible mature content] We don't exist. Not one of us does. We have no past, no family, no hometown to call our own. We don't exist. We have no birth date, no social security number, no finger prints. We don't exist. We were born, raised, and we will die in this job. Our only recognition will be a grave marker with our names on them. We don't exist... After the year 2030 AD, the world began to advance quicker than anyone fathomed to be possible. Science over took everything, imagination and creative thinking out weighed logic, and mankind was given wings. But with all of these wonderful advancements in science, a new problem in the world came to the surface: we were soon to become a world divided. The world split into four power giants who were all notorious for their own advancements. Russia claimed power first when they began to release man-made monsters similar to the ones from our darkest nightmares. Despite their wild demeanor, they knew loyalty to their creators and them alone. Monsters that seemed nearly indestructible became the hounds waiting at Russia's doorstep. They proved to be the wild card, and despite their loyalty to the Russian military, to the rest of the world, these hulking monstrosities were mindless, bloodthirsty, and feral. Germany entered the fray while keeping to their roots in technology. Machines became the way of the future long ago, but these machines could be fashioned into automated soldiers, war machines that could fight alongside their military and lead them to victory. These mechanical monsters were made to be hellbent on war and became more powerful than anything their prisoners were banking on. East Asia surprised us further still with finding, unlocking, and harnessing the hidden potential in humans, allowing them to use the power of magic to protect their lands as well as become a major threat to the rest of the land. With no basis or necessary limits on what their magic could do, their opposition would be forced to have to take the most caution while dealing with them. In North America came an even greater surprise. The U.S. joined with the generally neutral Canada, opening the market to weapons. The weapons they were making were nothing that you would necessarily take to any shooting range, but they would be able to take down anything that a normal, unarmed human wouldn't be able to face alone. Due to the...questionable...fashion of these weapons, they had created an underground black market to distribute their weapons to the highest bidder. These four power giants became known as "The Four Horsemen" of the century, plunging our world into darkness... ...Where we were born to become the light. We too joined the power struggle, but not for the same reasons. We don't desire power. We don't desire control. What we want is to fight for the people of the world. What we want is peace. We were born out of the darkness to rekindle the light and allow it to grow. We are the hunters and huntresses of UFO. The Unidentified Fighting Organization. Whenever things get out of control between The Four Horsemen, we're sent to restore the peace and protect the citizens. Once the towns are liberated, we disappear, leaving no sign we were ever there. We don't exist. We have no real names. We have no history or past. No one knows we do the jobs we do. And we're the best at what we do. Welcome to UFO. As unnamed defenders of the peace, we are given names that suit us by our combat styles, technique, special skills, or anything else that stands out about us. We are the UFOs(Unidentified Fighting Operatives) Name: (It can be an actual name so long as it is one given to you, otherwise, keep it simple but meaningful) Age: (16-29. We're brought into the organization young but complete our training in our mid-teens. If you want to be older/younger than the limits I placed, just PM me. I'm reasonable) Appearance: (Detailed description or an image please) Equipment: (Each of us is given or has created their own specialty weapon. Go into as much or as little detail of their capabilities.) Skills: (What is your skill set? Hacking, hand-to-hand combat, demolition, vehicle operations, infiltration, arcane knowledge, etc. Try giving a little detail) Snippet: (Since we don't have a background before our teenage years, just give some insight on your character in the time they've been in UFO. A paragraph at minimum please.)

I do have to request a post before we leave the remains of the church. Also toward Darth, does Dassem's sword consume her soul or just a manner of saying it wanted her(and her family...of zombies) dead?

As the others clashed with the demoness in order to contain her, Chiron was far too focused on trying to come up with any ideas. He was running into a lot of dead ends since he didn't know the child. Had he known the history of the boy, he may have been able to do something to convince him to willingly let this "friend" of his go. The demoness could only feed strongly on an innocent soul, and he knew he personally wouldn't fit the bill. Certainly there must be away to break the bond of this demoness with this boy. There...could be a way... his thoughts were suddenly disrupted by Dassem's plea for Chiron to speed things along. A small bit of irritation came to his tone. It wasn't toward Dassem, but toward the fact that he couldn't draw a good solution, other than one... "My apologies, Dassem, but I am a mage. I am not a miracle worker. This is, however, something I think I can manage. However, it all depends on the strength of the demon's will...and how willing you all are to strike me down if worse comes to worse," Chiron said, not sounding like this was going to be a good plan in itself. "What, a lowly human thinks he can overwhelm me?! By what means?" the demoness cackled, allowing herself some room between herself and Dassem before having to avoid being grappled by Nayomi again, just narrowly escaping Victor's attempt to pin her as water formed at her feet. She barely managed to avoid having her feet frozen to the ground. She lashed back at the aquakinetic, finding only air and went after him again just to be deflected by Dassem's blade again. "Out of my way." "Whatever you're going to do, do it soon, Chiron!" Nayomi growled as she tried to land on the witch again. The two wrestled again, only for Nayomi to be pushed out of the demon's way. "So be it then..." Chiron said, lifting his hand over his shadow. "I suppose I couldn't have expected not to summon you while dealing with demons, but it's time now," he said before a dark glint came to his crimson eyes. His shadow became darker than usual before an amorphous shape of a shadow rose to his hand for him to grasp it. A long metalline staff appeared in his hand before a black scythe blade tore out from the end. "What in the hells...?" the demoness said as she saw the mage disappear into his own shadow and emerge from hers with shadowy tendrils pulling her into the shadow along with Chiron. The room was silent in the absence of the two, while in the dimension Chiron took the witch to, she resumed her original appearance. The young woman who became demon looked lost where she was, looking for the man who was responsible. "Come out of hiding, you coward! My bond with the child won't be severed by taking me to another plane. I'll simply find my way back through the bond I've created. "Have you ever heard that shadow moves faster than light? How do you expect to escape here fast enough before you're caught again? Regardless, that isn't my point..." Chiron replied as he appeared in her view. She lunged for the mage only to find herself bound by a set of black chains. "You'll release that child, demoness. Or you'll be forced to do so." "And how will a mere mortal force a demon of my power to release the only thing binding me to that plane?!" she spat, grinning devilishly. "I was praying you wouldn't ask..." Chiron sighed, closing his eyes before they opened, only now there was nothing...only void in his eyes. "And I was hoping you would," a different, darker voice escaped Chiron's lips and a smirk came to them. The puzzled look on the demon's face only made him laugh maniacally. "You're just clueless now aren't you? Well, I will spell it out for you. I am the owner of the scythe this man holds. Once in a while, I'm allowed to have my fun, but I understand I have to be...nice..." "Who...are you? Are you a demon or-" "No...I wouldn't call myself a demon...but then again, I'm no longer alive...just call me a verrrry dark soul. And while your bond with that child is clever, the one I forged with this one when he was a child seems to provide a bit more longevity for me, despite the small costs. Now, what say you and I make a deal, demon?" he said, grinning for further emphasis. "Wh-what kind of deal? What sort of bond do you have with this man?" she asked, curious of what he meant exactly. "It's a very long story, but let's just say thanks to him I'll be able to stick around much longer than any demon has been able to keep a hold on the material plane. And you very well could have the same benefit, not to mention more power..." the man said, slinging his scythe over his shoulders, holding the other end of the chains with his free hand and tugging them until she was face down against the ground. "That or I could just have all of the fun I want and disregard the boy. I know the mage would hate it, but I have no problems killing a young boy to destroy anyone who declines one of my offers..." "What...choice do you leave me then?" "Clair" replied as she manged to lift her head to look up. "Make your bond with my soul instead and remove your bond with the boy, and I'll let you live and do what you please. Not to mention a bit of power to go with it. More than any youth could ever grant you. Besides, I have two souls for you to draw from if you count the mage here," he replied with a laugh. "I...I accept your terms..." The two rose from the shadows after what seemed like a few seconds' time. Chiron fell to a knee and supported himself with the scythe with both hands clutching it. "I-it's done..." Chiron said, gasping a bit, but sounding like himself. The witch laughed aloud as a gust of wind snuffed out all of the lights inside the church. "All of this power from a man who isn't even alive anymore?! No wonder your magic is so tentacious, mage. But now I think it's time to see what these new powers can do. Perhaps starting with this young child!" she shouted as a ball of black flame rushed toward the child who screamed only before disappearing from sight and appearing next to Chiron. "Come now, did you really think I'd just roll over and leave after that?" Chiron's eyes narrowed. "She's stronger now, but...she's fair game..." he said, giving an approving nod to his squad members. I pray this doesn't cost me my own life...this wasn't just my idea... he thought, straightening himself out as the others got ready for the real battle to come as the fire burned a hole in the church floor before extinguishing thanks to Victor reacting before they were turned to ash.

Feel like someone stabbed me through my neck and into my jaw... Had to have pulled something somehow. Yawning maybe?

The pair had covered quite a bit of ground and the river was in view now. "Victor, Dassem, do you read me?" Chiron asked with his hand pressed to his earpiece. "Hello? Are you two there?" he asked again, sounding a bit more panicked. With a frustrated sigh, he let go of his earpiece"Dammit! I think we lost connection to the two of them again. I hope they're alright," Chiron said, looking ahead. "Just give me a minute and we'll find out. Watch your head by the way," she said, charging clear through a bush. "Nayomi and Chrion are near, w-we should meet up with them and compare notes." Victor could be heard from the other side along with the sounds of water. "What was all of that about?" As if on cue, Nayomi and Chiron emerged, Chiron noticing the two startle with their sudden appearance. "What happened, you two? You look as if you've seen a ghost," he said, jumping down from Nayomi's back so she could resume her feminine appearance. "What happened when we lost connection back there?" "Well, what happened is that we figured out that there's a lot more amiss with this place than we originally thought. As you can probably tell from behind me," Victor said, pointing back to the emptied river. Chiron and Nayomi both stared in disbelief. Victor recalled the events for the two, Chiron obviously trying to mull this over in his mind. "I suppose we're fortunate enough to have been able to avoid any major harm." "From what I can gather, little of this land is at all as it seems. It is nothing but a manifestation, likely created by our demoness at large. And from the sounds of everything going on, it's safe to say that this demoness used to be our witch from the stories that the townsfolk told us," the blood mage paused, stroking his chin in thought. "In which case...we can't assume anything here is real or false from now on. We have to keep our wits and stay on our guard," he raised his right hand, reaching over his own shadow. "Our next move out to be to make our ways to the church and put a stop to this madness at once. But I suppose that is truly a decision for our squad leader..." Chiron said, gaze landing on Nayomi. "Yeah. That's definitely our mission. But how do you suggest we get there without being killed on the way there? We more or less know our way, but it doesn't mean we'll get there any faster. And no offense, but I don't think I can carry all three of you..." Nayomi replied, crossing her arms under her chest. "I'm aware, Nayomi. That would be where I come in. I think the time for being inconspicuous is done with now. The demoness likely knows we're already here after all," Chiron said, lifting his left hand to his mouth and biting down sharply on his thumb. Blood ran down into the palm of his hand and a drop landed on the shadow cast by his right hand. "Gather around me, all of you." The others stepped closer and when they did the shadow expanded into a circle which seemed to literally flip the party upside down. As they looked up, they saw nothing but void, Victor's senses were unable to feel anything. Below their feet, they could see the world they came from. Except they could see how it truly looked...dead. Nothing was alive in that forest near the river especially. "I apologize if any of you get motion sickness..." and before anyone could reply, the party was standing at the edge of the village that was burned to the ground as the darkness jaunted them back into the physical realm. "Okay...never do that again without proper warning... I think that just gave us whiplash..." Dassem said, rubbing the back of his neck. "Not exactly used to travelling in whatever fashion we just traveled in." "I do apologize. I don't exactly command the speed of shadows unfortunately. At any rate...here we are..." Chiron said, seeing the church in the distance. "And I don't like the feeling of this place one bit..."

Kurama woke up as the sun came up, seeing that the others had fallen asleep where they found room. At least he saw Etna and Anue. Kurama blinked, wondering where "Blue" had gone to. "Well, that can't be good. He did say he wasn't quite done with the folks in V.I.O.L.E.N.C.E., but I didn't expect him to go back in the middle of the night," he said to himself, keeping his tone down so as not to wake the ladies. Luckily this pub was already closed down for years now, long enough for Kurama to have learned the place's layout like the back of his hands. He made his way down to the bathroom, straightening himself out in the mirror in front of him. "Alright, now how can I find Heru with out using an amulet...I can do locations, not so much people unless I know where they are. Huh....what day is it anyway?" Kurama asked himself, pulling a cell phone from his pocket and checking the date. "Hm. Guess I lost track. I'll let him have his peace and whip some breakfast up for our beautiful house guests," he said to himself with a smile, making way toward the kitchen. Kurama pulled an apron on from the countertop, going into his stock of food since he "convinced" the mayor to leave the utilities going on in this pub in exchange for its protection a few years back. Though in these times with the crazyness going on with the assault on Inferno and the Ragnarok aftermath, Kurama couldn't help but worry about his old friend... Connecticut, United States "С Ð?нем РождениÑ, ÑеÑÑ?Ñ?енка. Я ÑкÑ?Ñ?аÑ? по Ñ?ебе еÑ?еâ??â??. Ð?ак поживаеÑ? маÑ?Ñ?? Я надеÑ?ÑÑ?, Ñ?Ñ?о Ñ? нее вÑе Ñ?оÑ?оÑ?о.(Happy birthday, baby sister. I miss you still. How is mother faring? I hope she is doing well.) Anyway...just...stopping to see you. I'll be sure to visit you again in a few months....There's... just a lot going on right now. I just hate the fact that father made it so I'll never see you again," Heru's eyes watered a bit. "I'm not crying, Kat. I promise. Just...something in my eye or somethin..." he said, wiping his eyes. "Я лÑ?блÑ? Ñ?ебÑ, Ð?каÑ?еÑ?ина. Ð?еÑ?егиÑ?е ÑебÑ. Okay?(I love you, Ekaterina. You take care. Okay?)" He laid a handful of Lotus flowers that he stopped to gather before he arrived. "Your and mama's favorite..." He said, turning away and closing his vest, zipping it up. A bullet rang out, grazing his shoulder enough to keep it from hitting his sister's grave marker. His eyes darkened as he stared at the singe mark on his arm, looking to see the source of it. Only he wasn't expecting to see what he saw, face losing its color. "No...it can't be you..." "I'm afraid it can, hellspawn," came from a man who was unmistakenly Jin, his father. But he looked almost the same way he did when Heru left the night of Ekaterina's death. "But...how...you're..." Heru couldn't grasp his words until his father's appearance dawned on him and then Heru started laughing softly before his laughter suddenly grew loud and maniacal. "Serves you right, you piece of shit! You became exactly what you grew to hate when you looked at me. A demon." "Shut your mouth, hellspawn!" Jin shouted, taking another shot at Heru with his rifle but having no luck landing a shot this time as Heru closed the gap on his once-human father. He stole the rifle from his hand before slugging his father across the face. Jin slammed into the ground, his body digging into the dirt. "You-" his words were cut off as Herutama's boot landed on his throat, dark eyes staring down at the man. "You shut your mouth, Jin... You were never my father. Not by name, not by blood, not by love. You never had the right to act like it either. I was pretty sure you'd never wanted to see me again, so explain before I re-end your life you worthless, trash," Heru growled, showing fang as he lessened pressure on Jin's throat enough to talk. "It's none of your goddamned business, but I wanted to finish what I started and get rid of you. That bullet was meant for you. Not your sister! This is all your f-urg!" Jin was interrupted by Heru's weight again which was enough to press him further into the dirt. "Don't you dare blame this on me! Anata wa sudeni anata no tsumi no tame ni haratte iru. Anata wa, anata to onaji fune ni notte watashi o nage aete shimasen!(You're already paying for your sins. Don't you dare throw me in the same boat as you!)" Heru roared, stomping his foot down harder before rearing back and drawing his revolver. He had a bead on his father, right between the eyes. Jin looked up to him, obviously scared for his life. "KyÅ wa shinai...(Not today...) Not on the day the best thing happened to me eighty five years ago..." Heru raised his foot, leaving Jin enough time to get to his feet. "Just go. Go before I change my mind, J-" Heru was knocked senseless by a mighty blow, careening into a nearby grave marker and crashing through it. Heru looked up with a dazed expression, seeing exactly what his father had become. A demon standing at twelve feet, massive in build with two wings sprouting from his back, with a sword in one hand and a cat-o-nine tails in the other and horns sprouting out of the sides of his head was now staring down at the half-demon who was half his size. "You've gotta be kidding me...of all demons, you become a Balor...?" "It didn't take much for me to prove my strength and resolve to come back to take care of unfinished business as well as deal with some of these UWG pests who keep making a mess back in Inferno. Vela surely has a pair on him to challenge hell itself," Jin spoke as flames flicked across his breath while he spoke. "So you pick today of all days...why? Don't you still care for Kat?" "I do. But I know that you never stopped caring for her either. And I knew where and when to find you, Herutama. And with this newfound power...I'll end you. Hell, I'm feeling generous...how about I bury you next to your sister when I'm done?!" the balor laughed with a dark and booming laugh. Heru stood slowly, shaking off the punch from Jin's giant fist. The hell did I do this morning to deserve this...?

Sounds like a good start to me. Just have to see if Vectis is up for.

Chiron was still a little offput by riding on top of a giant wolf. He figured there were faster ways to travel, but in the same merit it would be possible to spot anything amiss moving like this. A sigh escaped him as he looked up, ducking a low branch. I truly hope you're on their trail and not just trying to decapitate me, Nayomi... Chiron thought, shaking his head. He closed his eyes, keeping himself practically flat against Nayomi's back, focusing on hearing the loss of static on his headset. For a while there was no change but his eyes opened sharply as he heard something in the static. He knew Nayomi wouldn't have heard it, shaking it off. "You alright back there, Magus?" Nayomi asked, feeling him tense up suddenly. Chiron cleared his throat. "Just fine. Thought I felt something is all," he replied. "Nothing of concern. Still getting nothing but static though." "That's something of concern, Chiron. Just keep trying okay?" she asked as he stride only lengthened with the concern of her team fueling her. "I understand, Nayomi. I will," Chiron said and straightened as he could hear the static drop briefly. "Dassem and Victor, this is Chiron. Do you read?" "Hey, we're still in one piece. What's going on?" Dassem replied, although the connection was still choppy. "Glad to hear it. Just passing along the intel we gathered. Are you two still near water?" Chiron asked with a small grin. "Yeah, Victor's still locked and loaded if that's what you mean," Dassem replied with a chuckle. "Good to hear it. Unfortunately, Alpha and Beta can be assumed dead. According to reports by the townsfolk, they passed through and headed to that village and never came back. Also you're headed in the very same direction. Be on guard, you two. We're going to make an attempt to regroup and Nayomi is hauling ass to catch up. Also there are rumors of a dead 'witch' seeking revenge. There's no proof, but that means little in our line of work," Chiron finished. His eyes narrowed a bit. "It very well could be that this demon and this witch are one and the same. No matter what the case may be, we shouldn't make a move until we've regrouped. We've got your trail, so try not to move too hastily if it can be helped." "Understood, Chiron. You two be careful too. The way the wildlife has seemed to be this way is certainly concerning," Victor stated, the connection seeming to be much less statical than it was. "Why, what do you mean?" Chiron asked, blinking out of his dark expression. "Well, we essentially just walked past a bear who was fishing with not even a warning for us to leave. Almost as if it didn't even notice us. Not completely sure what to make of it yet, but if we figure it out before you do, we'll be sure to let you know," Victor stated, sounding as if he were still trying to figure it out while he said it. "Hm... we'll keep an eye on things on our end. Thank you for the intel," Chiron nodded. "Are we close, Nayomi?" "It smells like it. Just make sure you hang on. With any luck it should only take us a few minutes," the wolf responded, glancing over her shoulder briefly. "Alright, you two. We'll be expecting you soon then. Best of luck," Dassem said, his words as clear as the reception should normally be. "Likewise," Chiron removed his hand from his headset and held back onto the wolf's fur. "Well, while we're trying to gain ground on them, I'll try and make something of... What in the Nine...?" he cut himself off as they passed a few trees. "Nayomi, did you see that...?" "Not really, what'd I miss?" she asked, still focused on the trail of her squadmates. "The trees back there seemed to have withered to nothing. No sign of damage. No sign of rot. Just...death. The bark was practically all there was left of those trees. They looked almost empty inside. I'm wondering if this so called 'witch' has a bit more ground than we were expecting," Chiron said, still looking behind them. "Either way, things are getting more complicated than I had hoped between the wildlife and the foliage. Either the demon is taking life from more than just people or we have more than one problem on hand..." "Well, our primary goal is to deal with what's going on in the village. It's not in the mission to figure out things with this 'witch' who was only assumed to be a witch. For all we know, this was coincidence. Let's just focus on our goal. Just a few more minutes and we should find the others," Nayomi replied, though Chiron could tell she was just a bit concerned about it herself. "I understand..." Chiron said, sighing softly. Let's just hope my gut is wrong about this one...

Good news! My laptop's going to be fixed. Bad news...losing all of my data because they're replacing the HDD.

I was hoping to unite characters before we left the base, but Etna's discovery kinda threw that to the wind. Still looking for ways to do so. Up for suggestions.

Ah, thank you. Sorry about that if I messed that up a bit.

A wallet sized black and white photo stared Chiron in the face, though the edges were burned and much of the photograph was ruined from time and the heat it was exposed to. He could see half of the face of a young girl, pulling a smaller boy by the hand who seemed to look concerned. He heaved a sigh as he put the photograph back to where it came from, closing his wallet shut and placing it into his empty pocket after uttering a few words. His crimson eyes raised to the ceiling as his thoughts escaped him. He was the most recent addition to Delta and hadn't been in the field much due to what HDF classified as "instability in severe cases" so it was a wonder that he was even in the squad now. With or without the information past what he had gained in his own time, he already knew this mission would not be a cakewalk, especially working with three other squadmates who he didn't know personally. He only knew Nayomi briefly from working with her before, but other than that, she was just another coworker. Chiron exhaled slowly and closed his eyes as he started drifting into meditation before a knock came on his door. "I suppose that means it's time to go," he said to himself as his eyes opened again. He rose to his feet, pulling his long sleeved dress shirt on, buttoning it up halfway and pulling on his black jacket over top of it. He pushed the door open and could see that there was another squad member already ahead of him. He couldn't recognize him from behind, especially since he was already about out of his plane of view. He glanced to the door he came out of before closing it shut behind him and heading after the man ahead of him to make it to the hangar. "Ah, you must be Sir Magus, then?" a voice spoke from behind him as he almost reached the hangar. Chiron glanced over his shoulder, slightly startled by the sudden voice behind him. "My apologies. Cloak is the name. Just wishing you all the best of luck on today's mission." Chiron, recognizing the name, turned and bowed at the waist politely. "Of course, commander. My thanks." "Cut the formalities, please. Just go bring our men back. And come back alive yourselves," he said before disappearing as quickly as he appeared. Chiron nodded, turning back toward the hangar. As he made way in, he caught sight of the jet they would be boarding. He spotted Nayomi outside of the plane, putting a spent cigarette out and looking up to see him approach. "Good, you're on time, Chiron. Ready to go?" she asked with a smile. "Aye. I suppose we'll be further briefed during the flight?" Chiron asked, walking up to her but resting a hand on the rail of the steps. "Yeah, like I said to Victor, we won't be going in blind on this one," Nayomi responded with a nod. "Go get comfortable. It's going the be the last bit of relaxation we'll see for now," she chuckled. "Right. I'll do just that," Chiron bowed his head as he started onto the jet. "Didn't you bring any supplies, Chiron?" she asked as he stepped inside, only to see him smile over his shoulder and disappear inside the jet. The shadow mage took a seat, looking to the man he remembered as Victor after having a better look at him. "Pleasure to meet you again. Just wish it were on better circumstances," he said with a shrug, glancing toward the windows. "Yeah, but it can't be helped. This mission is pretty serious. You ready for this?" Victor replied, turning his head toward him. "As ready as one can be. Are we still waiting for one more then?" Chiron asked. "Ah yeah. No worries though. Dassem'll be here any time now. You anxious or something?" "Yes, I suppose so. Just haven't done much field work these days. I feel like I've been doing nothing but R&D lately," Chiron closed his eyes, a chuckle escaping him. "I just hope my skills haven't dulled too much."

Name: Drakvis Mavoriuos Age: 163 Gender: Male Origin: Ascended Appearance: Drakvis Ascended Appearance: Personality: Drakvis is smart-mouthed and arrogant but he is extremely to the bone. He knows he is above the humans and does not hide it but works beside them with no problem...just not without pissing a lot of them off. He is also extremely intelligent and is a great tactician. Job: Pilot Skills: Like Vastras, Drakvis is skilled in pretty much everything though his attitude certainly needs work. Lynx(AMP): Hexri also called Steel Rain Weaponry: Hexri is equipped with its wing blades, wrist blades, shoulder mounted machine guns, and two cannons for explosive damage. Special Equipment: Hexri begins in Alpha mode, much like its brother AMP which is its fastest form, relying on its cannons or machine guns and hand to hand combat with two blades that extend from his wrists. He also has a set of blades that he uses a magnetic field to manipulate in order to shield or attack. His Beta mode has larger wings which also serve as multiple blades for attacking and defending. His secondary weapon is a partizan opposed to the two lithe blades he uses in his Alpha form. The blades he uses as wings also serve a purpose for ensaring targets for his cannons to hit with no room to escape. The wings expand their magnetic fields from one to another in order to trap the designated target. Snippet: (will be added later)

Name: Chiron Magus Age: 35 Gender: Male Appearance: Chiron stands at roughly 5'9" weighing in at 169 lbs. He is known for his silver hair and red eyes and slightly pointed ears. His skin is a very fair complexion and on his back are a multitude of scars the length of his back. Ability: Blood and Shadow Magic/Pactum perniciosiorem falcem(pact of the Doom Sickle) Chiron's Blood Magic allows him to use blood as a magical component for his shadow spells or even to pull the blood forcefully from an unwilling victim. His shadow magic is primarily general shadow manipulation but with the use of the Doom Sickle, his abilities are expanded at the cost of playing tug-of-war with the original owner's soul over his body. The pact he accidentally created allows him to use the weapon born from shadow itself but allows the original owner and creator of the scythe to use his body if he is able to overcome Chiron's present state of mind. The Doom Sickle's abilities vary from battle to battle and its appearance is even known to change. Snippet: "Lord, please forgive me, for I have sinned. I can never rightfully repent for the wrongs I've done, but I wear every sin on my heart and accept whatever judgment you pass upon me in my final days. Amen," Chiron's eyes opened from his prayer as he stood to his feet, dusting his knee off. His gaze fell on the entry doors of the church as a familiar silhouette appeared in the broken stained glass. He relaxed as he recognized the figure as one of his colleagues. "This must be important if you've come to this 'broken down piece of holy ground' as you so graciously called it at your first arrival," Chiron called out with a faint smile. "Ugh, really? You're still holding that against me?" a woman's voice spoke as the door opened. The red-haired woman he knew as Nayomi walked through the door of the condemned church. "You've really gotta let that go, Chiron. Look, I've got a favor to ask of you. Can you help me out, please?" "I suppose so, considering I was already briefed of the mission that the higher ups have given us. It's about that villiage isn't it?" Chiron replied, approaching the woman and meeting her half-way. "Yeah. I'm coming up with nothing and I could really use a hand in digging up some information so I was hoping that-" "I'll do what I can, Nayomi. I make no promises, however," Chiron interrupted. "I was hoping you'd say that," Nayomi replied with a smile. "Is there anything else?" Chiron replied, buttoning up his jacket and brushing his hair back over his collar with a hand. She shook her head, turning away. "No, not this time. I'll leave you to it then, alright?" she said, heading back toward the door. She glanced back, seeing the older man gone from sight. "Agh...I still hate it when he does that..." Chiron stepped out of the shadows of what seemed like a shed with tables and books all over the room. He bit down on his thumb between his upper and lower left canines, drawing a bit of blood before he swiped his thumb on a white parchment between a pile of books. He drew a series of lines until it formed a shape and with a few words, the books on the desk opened and lifted off of the table. The books seemed to be turning their own pages before all but one of them slammed shut and landed on the table. The last one landed on top of the runic symbol drawn in blood, open to a map of the area which seemed to come to life like an animated picture. "Hm...Nayomi will be interested in this..." Chiron said as he began to take the notes the tome was giving him in a medium notepad. After roughly half an hour, the book closed on itself and Chiron closed the notepad in his hands. "I suppose I should go make this legible," he chuckled to himself before he disappeared into the shadows once again.

A hand rested on Anue's shoulder suddenly. "Hey, Anue. You holding up okay?" Heru asked, standing beside her at the table. Etna followed him out quietly, still trying to regain herself. Heru's expression was blank and he looked to Kurama who returned the gaze with a smile. "Not really in the mood for a perverted comment, Kurama," Herutama said flatly. Kurama sighed, hanging his head. Anue glanced up to Heru, shaking her head. "As okay as I can be, I guess. What about you two?" "Likewise," Heru shrugged. "Job's been done. But I don't think we're going to be welcome nor willing to return to V.I.O.L.E.N.C.E. anytime soon. Today was and is literally hell...Just don't know where to go from here, ya know?" he shook his head, glancing back toward Etna. "Well, you know damned well I'm not going back to that wretched place. I'd rather die than have to see that again," Etna growled, eyes narrowing. "I hear ya there, Etna," Kurama said with a nod. "What about you, Heru? You gonna go back?" Herutama remained silent on the question, eyes lowered to the hardwood floor. Anue looked up to him, receiving no response that way either. Kurama raised an eyebrow slightly. "Heru...?" Etna put a hand to the vulvitorr's back. "Heru, you in there?" Heru jumped at her touch, breathing sharpening for a moment before he remembered where he was. "Y-yeah, what's up...?" The other three looked to each other then back to Heru again with concern. "Are you gonna go back to V.I.O.L.E.N.C.E. Heru?" Kurama asked again. "I uh...I'm not sure..." Heru said, looking as if his ears were pinned back. "Not sure?!" Etna asked, turning him around. "After what happened today, you're not sure?!" she exclaimed further, clutching his shoulders. "They're not your family! Family doesn't make you go and kill innocent people on a genocide mission! That damned pack mentality of yours makes you a goddamned idiot, you know that?" Heru's eyes narrowed, turning black. "Look, Etna. I know what happened today, and not everyone in V.I.O.L.E.N.C.E. is like that. And that is why I'm not sure. I know not everyone in V.I.O.L.E.N.C.E. participated in that attack. And the same thing that they have coming, we have coming since Kurama didn't participate and I've taken a human in as my family. But I know when I'm being manipulated. More importantly, I know who belongs in my pack and who doesn't. I'm not going back to that organization, but I'll sure as hell help any others who feel the same way we do. So it's not a clear as day answer to give." Kurama nodded to himself. "Definitely one of those 'grey area' deals, I'd say," he said aloud. "All I know is I'm not going back. And I'm not going to keep you from going back if you decide to. I'll even make sure to keep an eye on Miss Anue for ya," Kurama grinned, looking Anue's way. She stared back blankly, his meaning going over her head. Heru sighed, looking from Kurama to Anue before his gaze settled back on Etna who was borderline glaring at him. "It really doesn't matter how you look at me Etna. Right now all I can say is I'm not leaving you guys any time soon. But that's all I can give you for now. Alright?" Etna huffed, crossing her arms beneath her chest. "Fine. But you'd better not go back." Heru stared blankly. "Really...?" Kurama burst into laughter at the two. "I don't think you're winning this one buddy," he said, clapping his friend on the shoulder. "Then again, I don't remember you ever winning one with any woman. Especially not Etna," he smirked. "Kurama?" "Yes, dear?" "Shut up..." Heru said, shaking his head and walking away from him. Kurama just chuckled to himself, leaning on the table that Anue was seated at. "You know you love me," he smiled a wide smile. Heru muttered a string of curses, taking a seat and leaning back in it with his arms crossed over his chest. "You know, I can hear you over there, mister." "Shut your face, dammit!" Heru growled, only causing Kurama to laugh more.

Name: Ryojin Kayido or Ryo for short. Age: 34 Personality: Appearance: Ryojin Elements: Light, Wind, and Water Summon: Leviathan Summon Appearance(normal): Leviathan Summon Personality: Leviathan is the lord of all waters, worshipped by Sahagin and other aquatic beasts. While many fishermen also respect Leviathan's power, over confident anglers feel as though the sea serpent is merely a myth. Leviathan is not judgmental, but is able to see the intentions of those who appear before him. He is calm and passive until he finds himself in battle, where his wrath is as violent and more destructive than any natural Tsunami. He doesn't boast his intellect, nor does he consider himself a superior being. He enjoys speaking with others who would approach him with respect, though those who disrespect him or Ryojin often receive a cold greeting. Summon Appearance(travel): Leviathan is roughly the size of a small python in his travel form, able to conceal himself rather easily. Background: Ryojin was born the son of a famous fisherman who passed on his skills to his son. The two travelled frequently while Ryo was just a child, and unfortunately got into one too many scuffles in unfriendly waters. Ryojin made a point to keep his father from having to fight for the both of them and end up wounded every time. He trained his strength by moving everything onto and off of the boat without his father's help and practiced swordplay everytime they made shore. As time passed and Ryojin came into adulthood, few humans, let alone sea creatures could handle his formidable skill nor did they challenge it often. He and his father found themselves making a large shipment from their catches during a single day and Ryojin was forced to take a rest that day since he had done all of the work for his old man. Unfortunately, he had a rude awakening, finding their ship having been attacked by a crew of sea creatures with human qualities. The deck had been destroyed for the most part by the time Ryo made his way up. His father was nowhere to be found and only rage filled the young man's blood. He drew the broadsword from his back, charging the enemy without hesitation. He struck the majority of them down before they began their retreat to the water. Only to find a much larger threat as the waters grew violent. Rows of teeth surrounded the ship and a set of tentacles slammed on the deck and in that instant, Ryo spotted his father. He rushed toward the unconscious body, praying that his father still drew breath. As a tentacle separated the two, Ryo clenched his teeth and with a mighty stroke, his blade sliced straight through the flesh of the beast beneath him and a gale of wind blasted the tentacle clear off of the deck. Ryo hesitated briefly, unsure of where that came from, before he came to his senses, grabbing his father quickly and hoisting him over his shoulder before realizing the rows of teeth he saw around the ship were above his view now. "No....this can't be it. I won't let you take my father's ship!" And neither shall I... a voice rang in Ryojin's head. The water around the ship rose up from the jaws of the beast, lifting the ship out of the monster's maw and setting down outside of its reach before the water seemed to come to life, striking the beast violently and sinking it under the water. Silence fell upon the deck as confusion filled Ryojin's mind before he realized something: his father wasn't breathing. The creatures took him away, leaving Ryojin to mourn his father alone. Fear not, young man. You have a strong heart and yet you remain calm despite the size of your foe, the voice spoke again before a mass of water began to form a winding shape and finally the voice had a face. It was a massive sea serpent and he was staring down at the blonde. You may call me, Leviathan. Our meeting was not by chance, and you have much to learn. In little time I'm afraid. With a nod, Ryojin bowed his head, offering a prayer for his departed father before giving him a burial at sea with the aid of Leviathan to keep his body safe. Leviathan explained Ryojin's role as a child of the Creator and the powers that came along with it and in time he helped him to master his powers as well as refine his skill as a swordsman.

Heru let out an enraged snarl as Etna was slammed to the floor, lunging himself in almost a blur at the Iron Guard and striking in a flurry at the shoulder joint of the Guard with all of his limbs until it just about came off of the guard. When that time came, Heru clamped his jaws down hard on the Guard's arm, tearing it off before receiving fire. He used the severed arm to deflect the blast from its cannon, releasing it after the blast connected before repeating the process on the Guard's other arm. As the cannon primed to fire, Etna had hurled the neon green flame into the barrel, causing the cannon to explode and making it easier for Heru to rip its other arm off before jamming this one through its chest. The Guard collapsed and Heru let out a low growl. "More company down the hall..." he grumbled. His eyes moved to Etna before he moved to help her to her feet. "Can you stand?" "Yeah, I can manage from here. Let's get a move on so they don't get the jump on us again, Heru," Etna replied with a grin, wiping the blood from her chin. "I won't stand for being caught off guard a second time," she added, clenching her fists. With a nod, Heru took the leading charge, making no sound despite his speed. Much to his instinct's accuracy, he rounded a corner and immediately pounced on the back of an Iron Guard, drawing his revolver and blasting four of the six rounds into the Guard's back, two of them travelling through the front and the Guard collapsing. "Made these armor piercing rounds just for you bastards," he said to himself, leaping off of the Guard's back to fire the last two rounds into the cameras of its companions. With little lapse in time, Etna loosed her hellfire on both Guards, leaving them vulnerable to be finished. Heru stowed his revolver and drew his carbine simultaneously, firing one round into the chest of one Guard's pilot and firing a second into the other pilot's head. He stowed his carbine again, loading his revolver with his quick loader before turning the cylinder and pressing it back into place. ____ "The answer's still no, chickadee. When the coast is clear, I'm sure he'll let me know, alright?" Kurama said, shaking his head at Anue. "I've got no inclination of getting in his way when he's actually 'hunting'...." Kurama shuddered. "What do you mean, Kurama?" Anue pouted a bit. "You mean he's hunted humans before?" "Well, not exactly per se...erm... He's been sent to take down a squad of Iron Guards to free a bunch of half-demon kids. Exorcists and Hunters too. But he's never gone after any innocents, like those who aren't involved in our being hunted down," Kurama said, scratching the back of his head. "I guess that's the right way to put it..." "I guess that makes sense since he didn't kill me..." Anue said, looking as if she were in thought now. "Yeah, and since you're in the same boat as us with other humans, he probably sees you as one of us. I can't say I disagree. Humans look at you and see what they see when they see us, but they tend to forget that we're human too. And I think it makes us forget that we are sometimes. It's hard to remember when we're generally put down like animals on sight. Hell, my old man was a demon and my ma was human, they loved each other despite their not being the same species. Demons were humans once, they just found themselves condemned to become demons after living their life and... Er... sorry, Anue. I'm rambling," Kurama chuckled. "No, it's okay, really. Just wish more people saw it the same way you did," Anue smiled. "But we're just a few people. Can't just change the minds of everyone overnight." "Yeah, ain't that the truth..." Kurama smiled. ____ Heru and Etna had made quite a mess of the place. Despite all of the blood the pair shed, despite his remorse, he knew he couldn't risk backing down. He was in enemy territory, and if he was going to kill humans, this is how he had wanted it to be. He was startled by the sound of his amulet as well as Etna's. He exhaled as it was nothing unusual, but it was the call of retreat. The time of his contract to kill needlessly was over, but something bothered him still... "Scythe..." "Huh? What about him, Heru?" "He's left...which unnerves me just a little..." "...You wanna go after him? I'm personally not sure that it's in our best interest." "No, it's not. But he could be endangering innocent humans for all we know. Or even half-demons for all we know. We ought to track him down..." Etna shuddered. "Heru, if you're really sure about that, I'll come with you. I'd hate to be the one to find your corpse if he killed you." Heru shook his head, reverting to his human form, clothing tattered. "I think that's one of the sweetest things you've ever said, Etna," he chuckled before the two teleported with their amulets in hopes of finding him. OOC: S'all I got for now. Dead at work and nothing to do, but I do need to get closing procedures started at least.

Back in the states Kurama kicked one of the last invading half-demons in the chest, sending him off to Kurama's side. He took a glance to Anue. "How you holding up back there, cutie?" he asked with a smirk. Anue was simply watching Kurama clean up his bit of a mess. "Really banged the old place up a little more than I'd hoped. Hopefully they can get the club fixed up at least," Kurama sighed, scratching the back of his head. He walked over to the human girl, wiping the blood from his regenerating wounds. He lifted his head to hear the music was still playing, causing him to smile. "Well, at least I kept them out of the important parts." "Kurama...?" Anue said, looking to the man who looked back to her with the same smile he always wore. "Do you think I'll see Heru again? He...he said he's going to k-" "Yeah, I know. Trust me, he likes the idea as much as I do. He's just got more to protect now. If anything, he'll go after Hunters and Exorcists and the like. He won't just attack innocent people, kiddo," Kurama chuckled. "I'm not a kid. I had this conversation with Heru already, and don't you dare say 'You're a kid to me' like he did, got it?" Anue said, pointing a warning finger at the half-demon. "And what do you mean? How is that protecting me?" Kurama shook his head with a smile. "Heru's got this 'pack mentality' as I like to call it. As long as you're a part of his 'pack' he'll do just about anything for ya within reason. He considers most of the members of V.I.O.L.E.N.C.E. the pack he belongs to, but there are definitely some exceptions..." "But what about you? Won't you find trouble going against them by guarding me and not attacking humans?" Anue asked with a bit of worry. "What? I just did attack humans. All of those half-demons were half-human too. And Xavier knows I'll tell him just that. Whether or not he actually punishes me will be up to him. Especially since I don't need an amulet to teleport. I can destroy the thing at any time," Kurama shrugged. "And I don't have any family out there. My older brother killed my old man and my ma," he added, heading out of the club. "Thinking that's the last of 'em for now. You comin', pretty lady?" he asked with a smirk. Anue followed him out the door, seemingly oblivious to his last comment. "Your brother killed his own parents?" she asked, looking up to him. "Yeah, killed my ma for 'stealing his father away' from him and his mother and killed my dad because my dad would have killed him if he didn't. What can ya do though?" Kurama said with a sigh, shrugging. "How come you always act so happy?" Anue asked curiously. "Is your brother still alive then? How long have you known Heru? Wh-" "Easy on the questions, Anue. Geeeze... Anyway, what's the point of being upset if it won't change anything? Besides, wearing a smile draws more of the ladies, so smiling is just what I do. Yeah, my big bro's still alive unfortunately. I've got no intention of hunting him down unless he causes trouble though. As for Heru...I think I've lost track of how long we've known each other. Long enough for me to think of him as my younger brother, though." "Younger? The way you two acted together, it was hard to tell who would be the younger of the two of you..." Anue thought aloud. "H-hey! What's that supposed to mean?" Kurama said with a pout. Britain "You sure you want to go here of all places? They're doing a lot of moving out right now and I'm not sure if you're up for dealing with these Guards," Etna said, looking at Heru skeptically. "Yeah. Positive. Especially since they're foolish enough to go into Hell. Better to kill them off now before they find themselves suffering in the inferno," Heru said, staring down at the front of the building where many Iron Guards were flooding out of. Heru immediately drew out his carbine, aiming directly behind them all of a sudden. He stared as a figure was standing behind them, raising an eyebrow. "Oh, it's you, reaper... What brings you here, Scythe? Malik or Xavier ask you to come put me down like a sick dog?" "No such thing, Heru. It looks like you two might need some help here," Scythe said, watching Heru stow his rifle. "Why would I after all?" "Oh, I don't know. You did help organize the Valkyries back in the day from what I understand. Figured you'd be coming to put a stop to my 'resistance' or some bullshit like that," Heru replied, not pulling his eyes away from the half-reaper. "Whether you intend to help or not, I'm going to comply. I'm going to protect my family, even if it goes against what I believe in," Heru said, clenching his fist. "I wasn't given the freedom to help half-demons and those like me just to be ordered to kill humans who haven't done anything. But I have no problem striking at the ones who caused all of this to begin with," he said, pulling his carbine back off of his back. He emptied the gun of its ammunition, reloading it with a strange set of bullets. They were each etched with demonic writing, none of them the same. "Now either stand with me or stay out of my way. It's up to you," Heru said then looked to Etna. "Looks like they're sending out the end of this batch. The guards won't all be piloted already. Take out the pilots, then deal with any piloted Guards," Heru stowed his rifle again after he finished loading it. "Alright, Heru. Don't mind me if I deviate a little bit though," Etna said with a smirk. "Guess since you didn't change clothes, you don't intend to stay in this form for long huh?" Heru just looked back at her with a nod, before descending from his high ground in his lupine form. He moved without making much of a sound. Etna glanced back to Scythe. "Coming, then?" she asked before following Herutama's lead. OOC: I'd post more but my wrist is killing me. Just wanted to post what I had in mind while it was still in mind.

With the threat to Anue's life, Herutama shifted seamlessly, snagging Etna's wrist. "She IS family, Etna. Don't you dare harm her!" Heru growled, prying Etna away from Anue and pinning her to the same tree she was leaning on. "Oh, has someone gotten soft? Or did you forget that it was humans that isolated us? The same ones that isolated you? Like your father for instance?" Etna said with a fanged grin. Heru bared his teeth, staring the demonspawn down. "The same ones that isolated her. They believe she's one of us, and so do I, Etna. I'll protect her like she's family, even if it's from the people I call my family," he said, relaxing and loosening her grip on Etna. "Oh, it seems I've had it all wrong. Maybe it's you that's the pet, Herutama," Etna said, dusting herself off. Heru's eye twitched and his muscles tensed as if he was about to tear into the woman. "Geeze, Heru. Why don't you relax? Gods, you're too easy to mess with..." Heru exhaled, looking over to Anue who was still catching her breath. Heru shifted back to his human appearance, clothes tattered from changing. "Look, Etna, this is serious. I'm not so reserved about other humans, but no matter what you say to me or to Malik, she's one of us. And I'll do what I'd do for any of us, including you, for her. Even if that means facing the dragon myself," he said, looking up to Etna. Etna put her hands at her hips studying Herutama for a moment. "You're serious aren't you, wolfy?" she said with a sigh, shaking her head. "What are we gonna do with you?" Etna walked over to Heru, resting her hand on his cheek. Heru's eyes closed, not sure what to expect from Etna as per usual. He looked up to see her in his face with a smirk. "W-what...?" he asked, blinking. "I'll keep your secret this time, but I suggest you do your job if you don't want the head honchos suspecting something. You're lucky you're cute, Heru. And the girl's interesting enough..." Etna giggled with a grin. "Speaking of work. I'd better get going myself...Ta ta for now, Heru," she winked, teleporting from sight. Heru let out a sigh, clenching his fist. "Anue, you're gonna want to go somewhere safe... Like I told Etna, I'll do anything for family." "Heru, what do you have to do?" Anue asked, finally having had the chance to recover. "I have humans to kill..." _________ Kurama stared at his older brother, both of them looking worse for wear at this point, neither one of them making a move. Kazan and Kurama both broke their gaze, looking in opposite directions before looking to each other again. "You're lucky, little brother. Seems like I have some other business to attend to," Kazan said, sheathing his katana before it disappeared. "I'm lucky? I was kicking your ass and now you're running away? But I'm the lucky one, eh?" Kurama chuckled, his staff disappearing as well. Before he could say anything, Kazan was already gone. "Tch... Didn't wanna talk to you anyway. But...I guess it's time for that business now, huh?" Kurama scratched the back of his head. "Sorry, Xavier. I got no beef with humans," he shrugged, making his way back to the club. He intended on doing his old job, but this time he'd be throwing demons out of this town instead. Apparently word got out as soon as the words escaped his lips. "Well, ain't that about a bitch?" Kurama let out a sigh, shaking his head. He fortunately had a decent enough time to regenerate, but he had something in mind to help the process along before it was more than just the scouts that had shown up. "Alright, Xavier. I'll accept your challenge," he said before teleporting to the club's bathroom, altering his appearance before doing so. Fortunately he picked an empty stall. He stepped out of the bathroom, tipping the attendant who looked more confused than grateful. Kurama couldn't blame the guy though, but he had pushed through the crowd, the music loud and vibrating the room with bass. He reached the bartender he'd gotten his drink from earlier. He signaled for her attention which he received with a smile. "Hey, told you I'd be back to see you," Kurama said with a grin. "Yeah, yeah, I figured you would. What can I getcha, sweetie?" she asked, smiling sweetly and leaning on the counter toward the black haired Kurama. "Well," Kurama started, leaning toward the redhead, "I was actually hoping you might be able to take a break from work for a bit..." he proposed and his eyes gave a dim glow momentarily. **** Moments later, Kurama stepped out of one of the rooms held above the club, looking and feeling better than he had in a while. The redhead came out behind him, trying to regain her composure and her land-legs. He looked back to her. "I can carry you downstairs if you'd like, Sue," he offered with a smirk. "I can walk just fine, thank you very much," Sue said, shaking her head with a smile. "I'll call you sometime, 'kay?" she winked to the half-demon. "I'll be looking forward to it, sweety. You'd better get back down there before they start missing your pretty face too much though," Kurama said, giving her a light kiss before waving and heading out. "Hope to hear from ya soon!" he said, shutting the exit door behind him. "Looks like the party showed up just in time..." he grinned widely, reverting to his original appearance with his eyes turning more of a red hue. "Well, come on with it if it's gonna be that way..." he said as his staff materialized.

Heru's fist clenched around his amulet, teeth grinding against each other with elongated fangs. "Goddammit, Anue..." He released his amulet, charging after and catching up to the girl with ease, bounding from the trees and landing in front of her. Unfortunately, the impact he made with the ground knocked the girl off balance. His eye twitched and he grabbed her by her shoulder, tugging her back toward him. Anue struggled to break his grasp, but he gave no ground. "Kid, stop already!" "No, I'm nothing but annoying. Leave me alone!" Anue said, still finding no way to break free. "I'm not afraid to kill you if I have t-" she paused, looking at the softened expression on Herutama's face. "Uhm...hey...threatening to kill you over here..." "Look, kid...yeah...you are annoying..." "Not helping. If you're just planning o-" "Just shut up and listen to me okay?!" Heru snapped back, clearing his throat. "When it comes down to it, we're all family. Most of our family just treats us like we're plagued," Heru let out a sigh, looking up. "But you and I, we're family. No matter how annoying or...how abrasive we are to each other, we can't turn our backs on one another, alright?" he said, looking back to Anue. He let her go when he felt Anue stop pulling away. "That's why I won't abandon you, Anue. You finally got your answer okay...? Do with that what you will..." he said, eyes closing. _____________ Kurama was visiting what was once his hometown which wasn't fortunate enough to get a barrier up, but they handled demons their own ways when they could. He'd caught wind of a demon that had been roaming the area slaying women. It was only whenever they were pregnant however, no matter how far along the mother was. Seems like half of these women didn't even know they were pregnant... Sounds about was that most of the victims had been here the night before their murder. Guess I'd better put my "make-up" on, he thought, his hair slowly turning black from the roots out. He approached the club, paying his way in as well as two ladies who were coming up behind him, giving them a wink and a smile. He chuckled as the two started talking to each other about him, shaking his head. If only I weren't here on business, ladies...if only... As he received his stamp, he pushed open the second set of doors, a roar of music hitting him in an all too familiar feeling. He smiled as a wave of nostalgia struck him, watching the people in their prime enjoying the time they had despite the demons who found their way to their realm. He could see a set of bouncers already eyeing him as he walked in but acted like he didn't notice the three. Instead he headed for the bar, resting an elbow on it. His gaze set on the female bartender who was working this night and he raised a hand to wave her over. Once she finished with her customer, she walked over to Kurama with a smile, leaning on the bar. "Hey, sweetie, what can I get ya?" the young red-haired woman asked him "Hm...Glass of vodka on the rocks if you would, pretty lady. Please and thank you," Kurama replied, smiling back at her, trying to keep his passive power at bay. With a wink and a nod, the young lady got to work on his drink, which didn't take long. Kurama bowed his head with a smile, placing a twenty-dollar bill on the bar. "All you, sweetheart. I'll be back to see you before the night's over," Kurama winked, stepping away from the bar, taking a swig of his drink. Good, they're still servin' the good stuff. He raised the glass to the bartender, who seemed distracted before she realized she had other orders to fill. Kurama gave a chuckle to himself before he moved his way into the crowd The DJ quickly transitioned the song into a fast-tempo track, causing the club-goers to show a rise in excitement and more of them to head to the dance floor. Kurama closed his eyes, taking another drink before looking over to the bar. Bingo... he thought as he saw a man with a long blonde ponytail, dressed in black slacks, black combat boots, long black coat with the sleeves rolled up, and a half-buttoned grey dress shirt talking to a young woman, the two of them getting a little too touchy-feely. He could easily sense the woman was expecting, although very early. What was more worrysome was the wedding ring on her left hand. His eyes focused on the man's face before they narrowed. Oh...You have GOT to be shittin' me... It would be him of all demons... He finished his drink, setting his glass on the bar right beside the two. "Excuse me," Kurama said as he bumped into the blonde, giving him a bit of room. The blonde's eyes met Kurama's before narrowing to slits. "I'll have to cut our date short, sweetheart," the blonde said to the woman whose eyes saddened as the man and Kurama stepped back from the bar. "You've got some issues upstairs coming around here, Kurama." "Says the man who killed both of my parents, one of them being his own father. But I'm the one who has issues?" Kurama spat, shaking his head. "Come on, Kazan. Let's just get this over with once and for all," he said, disappearing from the club as well as his elder brother, the two appearing a ways outside the club. They both appeared with their silver hair, Kurama's violet eyes staring into the red eyes of his elder brother who stood before him with a sheathed katana. Kurama's eyes narrowed before he grinned a bit. "Now you know I only brought you out here so I could get you away from that cute little misses in there, right? Come on, Kaz. Can't go stealing married mama's away from their husbands." "I can when they're going to birth half-breed abominations like yourself, Kurama. Just like I killed your mother," Kazan growled, eyes narrowing. "Yeah, I know. You killed, ma, Gods bless her, but what's the point of my being pissed off about it? It's not exactly gonna bring her back. Seriously, find some better material. You're not gonna rile me with that, Kazan. You waited until I was old enough to get what was going on. Not my fault you don't have the mind of a good demon," Kurama shrugged, his staff appearing over his shoulders and held by his right hand. "But because of it, kicking the shit out of you should be that much more gratifying," Kurama smirked, seeing Kazan's irritation grow. Unfortunately, he had little time to react as Kazan closed the gap between them, bringing his blade down against the solid metal pole in his hands. "Touchy, touchy!" Kurama was pushed back by the next blow dealt by Kazan before he was able to get his stance straight. Guess I should really be careful...think I struck a nerve this time...
