1. The first three I mention are actually quite solid, but the last two choices are ones that probably change often. 1 - L'Arc~en~Ciel: As one can probably notice from my signature/avatar pair, L'Arc~en~Ciel is my ultimate favorite group ever. Individually, Yukihiro, Tetsu, Ken and Hyde are talented in their own right, but when put together, they just become an unstoppable band. Those lucky enough to see them at Otakon04 (GRR, I still wish I could've gone, sobs) finally got to see how talented this band is. The composition of each song is perfect, and the lyrics are so good. They have a poetic type of quality that I honestly haven't found in a bunch of other bands. 2 - Asian Kung-Fu Generation: This band rocks. All their songs have catchy beats and melodies, and I really, really love Kensuke Kita's voice. He's got that huskiness that I really dig. LOL. I honestly haven't heard a song by them that I haven't liked. 3 - No Doubt: I just really like their songs. Never felt the need to look up any information on any of them, but their music really kicks so much ***. Gwen Stefani was probably the first female to ever really write songs that I could totally feel, esp "I'm Just A Girl." Ever since then, I've just been an avid listener of their music. 4 -Duel Jewel: I didn't really get into them until very recently, but they're really quite talented. I love their VK style, and their music is pretty damn cool. I had my doubts about them since I only heard a few of their songs before I got to see them live, but in concert, everything was just so much better. They totally know how to keep a show going, and they also played newer songs that I hadn't heard before, and those were much more polished than their earlier stuff. They've got a lot of potential to make it really big. 5 - Dir en Grey: Actually this last one was a toss-up between Dir en Grey and Glay, and I decided to put Dir en Grey in just because recently I've been listening to them more than I have to Glay. Dir en Grey has a really unique style, musically and appearance-wise. I'm not quite sure I have the words to describe them since...they're very indescribable, haha. Their music is simply awesome. They're really loud hard rock, and they're worth giving a listen to. ...Okay I need to start listening to genres other than JRock. I fear it has taken over my soul.
 2. Well for those who don't know already, the GetBackers center around Midou Ban and Amano Ginji, two best friends who form the Get Backers. Their goal is to get back whatever it is anyone has lost, and they go on all sorts of crazy adventures to do so. Amano Ginji has the power of electricity while Midou Ban has Snake Bite (in other words, an incredibly powerful grip LOL), as well as the Evil Eye (which will be explained within the manga, and I won't spoil that much for you). There are also quite a number of characters that you get introduced to, most of whom come from the two protagonists' different pasts. Then it starts to get totally complicated, but it's all really gripping. The manga is more shounen, with it's action and adventure theme, but it also gets a bit ecchi, so...don't let your parents get a hold of it, haha. j/p. I've seen all of the anime already, but I haven't read all of the manga just yet, so I can't really compare and contrast the two for those of you who want more information. However, because the anime got licensed, it's now under ADV, and they had the english voice actor list up on their site quite a while ago. I can't remember any names, though. Anyway, I hope that helps any of you.
 3.
What's this about the naruto manga not appearing in the next few weeks? What's this about Kishimoto 'Gathering info'? That's bullcrap! Anyone know what's going on? No_Regrets...out-
Yikes, I haven't been on this thread in the longest while, and I'm glad to see that it's grown. Feels good to be back on the thread, even though I can't even recognize half of the names anymore XD Getting back on-topic: I saw that on Chapter 224 I believe? But they also were able to release Chapter 225, so I'm not sure how much of a break Kishimoto-sensei is going to take. I was actually quite scared when I read that since the manga is really building up quite nicely. I hope he doesn't disappear after 225 because that left us off with quite the cliffhanger! And apparently episode 94 says that next week, we'll have another 1 hour special! w00t! I'm assuming it'll be episodes 95 and 96 back to back ^_^ Can't wait to see what they have in store for us.
 4. I'm having a bit of a problem with reading my comments. When I click on the link to read them, instead of having a window open up as it normally would, I get taken to the top of my mO page o_0; I thought that maybe it was just my mO so I went to a few of my friends' mO's and the same thing happens when I try to read their comments as well. I've deleted my cookies, and I've signed back onto mO, but it hasn't fixed the problem, so I don't know what it could be. Thanks in advance if anyone can help me fix it ^_^
 5.
Also, I didn't particularly like the singer's voice in general. It just didn't do anything for me.
*dies* :wow: I won't go all crazy fangirl on you, haha, but I personally love Hyde's voice, and I think "Hitomi no Juunin" features his range perfectly. He has such an impressive falsetto that not a lot of singers have, which is why I admire him lots. Overall, I think SMILE is great, but I do have my favorites among the ten tracks. Lover Boy - I'm still not sure what to feel about the lyrics, haha, but Ken does such an awesome job on this song, and he gets to showcase his talent when he gets this one solo part and goes all crazy with his guitar picking. I was completely amazed after hearing it. REVELATION - I love this song mainly because it makes me want to jump, haha. It's loud and noisy and especially repetitive, but I think it's great. Hitomi no Juunin - I mostly love it because of Hyde's range on this song. I feel he's incredibly powerful in it, and I just really love his voice. LOL ^_^ Kuchizuke - I actually really like how this song is the first track, especially with that guitar riff at the beginning. It totally grabs me from the start...and I can't get over Hyde singing, "And you're burning with desire...give in to me." LOL. READY STEADY GO - Haha, when this came out, I was addicted to it right away, and I couldn't stop listening to it. This song really is awesome, and once again I second wrist cutter's recommondation: if Hitomi no Juunin was lacking percussion for you, then READY STEADY GO might be the way to go ^_^ It's incredibly fast-paced, and at first, it sounds a bit weird, but once you get into it...It's just awesome, haha. One song that I don't really like on SMILE though is Eien. I just can't get into it...it's lacking something (or several things, haha) that I can't put my finger on, but meh. The song just isn't their best. ~haruno_sakura
 6. I actually really love this show just because each of the Fab 5 is so funny in his own special way. My favorite would have to be Thom just because it's amazing how he can totally transform a room and make it look really awesome! I seriously want him to redecorate my house, haha. And I absolutely adore Carson because he's just so funny and witty, and he'll say the most random things that make me crack up hysterically. As for a memorable episode, I think my favorite would have to be one of the recent ones in which they made over this tall Korean-American guy. His dog was just sooo cute and adorable, albeit a little rowdy, haha. And even after the make-over, it was so funny how the Fab 5 were clowning on his girlfriend for being too high maintenance because it seemed like she didn't enjoy any of the changes that happened and the poor guy was trying his hardest to please her. That was such an awesome episode, and I couldn't stop giggling, even after it ended. It certainly is an incredibly entertaining show ^_^ ~haruno_sakura
 7.
Apparently Nagatani from SURFACE plays guitar on BoA's "Rock With You". I've never heard the song, because I don't care for BoA one bit, but he's an awesome guitarist. Anyhow, SMILE has not come for me yet. That's the last time I ever use the post office for shipping, because this wait is killing me.
I actually re-listened to "Rock With You" after reading your reply and tried to listen more for the guitar. However, it's totally downplayed and can't exactly be heard all that well until the bridge and refrain, which is really sad if they had an awesome guitarist do it. But I guess one can't expect too much from a really Pop/Dance kind of song. Laruku's SMILE is ...wow. I don't know how to describe it. I really love the excellent guitar and bass work done on this album (*bows down before Ken and Tetsu*), and the vocals are amazing as always. Hyde never fails to impresses me with his falsetto and overall vocal style because I seriously don't know a lot of guys who can sing like that. Yukihiro has his electronic type of influence on REVELATION, and I actually really like it, especially since I find the song incredibly catchy; I can't get it out of my head, haha. I really love this album, but then again, I may be incredibly biased, as I think that everything they do is amazing ^^;; ~haruno_sakura
 8.
Utada Hikaru and BoA have got to be the best! I love the theme song for Kingdom Hearts in which Utada Hikaru sings, and BoA does a great job singing for some of the songs on Inu Yasha! My favorite song though, is Wild Wind sung by Hiyama Nobuyuki and Oogata Megumi. I can sing all the words to it. Another good song is Kirei na Kanjou sung by Arai Akino. I think its a song on Noir, I've never seen the anime but I've heard of it.
When it comes to Utada Hikaru, I personally like "Uso mitai na I Love You" as it has more of a rock music type feel and it's something quite different from her other songs. And I have to say I like "Hikari" as well, though I'm not quite sure about the English version, "Simple and Clean." I think the refrain's higher melody range for "Hikari" flows much better with the rest of the song. In any case, I love playing it on the guitar ^_^ BoA is cool, when I'm in a really "pop" kind of mood, haha. I actually listen to her Korean songs lots more than I listen to her Japanese songs, mainly because those are the versions I have ^^;; Her video for "Rock With You" is actually pretty cool. I like how the camera rotates around her in 360 degrees for a majority of the song; it's such a disoriented feeling ^_^ On a much happier note, my copy of L'Arc~en~Ciel's SMILE has finally arrived at my house, w00t! ~haruno_sakura
 9.
Laruku are definately a talented band, whereas Hyde is just a pretty boy with a high voice. He isnt even that pretty of a pretty boy. I feel sorry for his newborn.
That's extremely harsh, I'd say. To reduce Hyde's vocal range to merely "a high voice" is really underestimating his talent as a vocalist. I'm not even going to comment on his looks because that's totally secondary; people tend to focus on that without taking a look at his talent as a musician. I think he adds just the right flavor to L'Arc~en~Ciel, especially since he doesn't just sing for the band. At times, you can find him playing the guitar or even the saxophone, and his lyrics are also quite incredible. To call him just 'a pretty boy with a high voice' is as ignorant a statement if I ever heard one. Why is it you feel this way? Which Laruku songs or Hyde's own songs made you form this opinion? ~haruno_sakura
 10.
Number 2: How does the Jutsu work?? I have no idea what you mean, you saw what it does lol.
It seems you have misread my post ^_^; I feel the need to clarify once again what I have said. I know technically HOW the Jutsu works, but right before I had asked my question, I stated the specific givens of the situation under which my confusion stemmed. I was questioning what would have happen afterwards
to the two souls who are supposedly joined forever to battle together in death. Yondaime was the one who created the jutsu, but it is only his soul that was trapped as Kyuubi is hidden within Naruto. Therefore, how does Sandaime know that two souls are supposed to fight forever when Yondaime's soul has no one to fight at all?
. And as for Orochimaru, (don't read this if you haven't caught up to the manga),
only the soul from his hands get trapped with Sandaime, so does Saindaime just forever fight with Orochimaru's hands? LOL. It's really quite funny to imagine it.
And as for the
blue spirit that the Death God holds within his hand, that is supposed to represent the person who calls the jutsu. As you can see, when the Death God's hands go through the blue body, it ends up coming through Sandaime's chest, so it definitely isn't Yondaime because his soul is gone in some dark abyss fighting nothing when he should be fighting Kyuubi's soul, which is impossible as he sealed it in Naruto's.
And that's where the 'how' in my question stems from. How does anyone know at all that the
two souls are joined forever together to fight when it hasn't ever been done before? I guess it's possible like you said that the Death God somehow explains the consequences to the summoner once the jutsu is performed, but technically, the only two to have ever done the jutsu, Yondaime and Sandaime, do not end up with another soul to fight against as the enemy souls are hidden elsewhere. So what happens to Sandaime and Yondaime? Are they just alone for all time in death since they cannot be in heaven or hell?
It is never really fully clarified, which is why I felt the need to point out the holes within the narrative in order to find answers to my question. And Godel, you bring up an excellent possiblity that I had not thought about ever, and that is that
Yondaime might actually be sealed with Kyuubi within Naruto, but then my question would be, why hadn't Naruto seen or heard Yondaime when he had gone within himself to demand chakra from Kyuubi as he was falling from the cliff that Jiraiya had shoved him from? Wouldn't Naruto then have 3 different chakras instead of two, should Yondaime be within him? Naruto himself says he only feels two different kinds of chakra, and they are his own and Kyuubi's which would then mean that if Yondaime was sealed with Kyuubi within Naruto, he would have to be dormant which would then conflict with the supposed deal of the two sealed souls fighting each other for all eternity.
. And that brings me back to my original question.
Where is Yondaime's soul, and is he just alone in some limbo all by himself? And because Sandaime is somewhat in the same position, will he, too, suffer the same fate of loneliness for all eternity? LOL, I actually wish that both Yondaime and Sandaime end up in the same limbo space so that at least they can keep each other company because the thought of both them alone within their own dimension is too depressing haha
. ~haruno_sakura
 11.
Isn't it difficult to imagine that Tetsu, Susumu and Suzu are all the same age? This makes the conflict between Tetsu and each of the others even more dramatic, but I have a hard time convincing myself that Susumu isn't as old as Okita. >_>; Since it's ending so soon, my main worry is that certain characters--particularly Saya--will end up being neglected. But I have faith in PMK's creators. ^_^
AH, I haven't been on this thread in a while ; __ ; Anyway, I didn't even know that Susumu was Tetsu's age! o_0 I always thought of him as someone older, haha, mainly because he's so much taller LOL. Also, because he was always quite reserved and quiet, he came off as more mature to me. o_0 Also, out of Tetsu, Suzu and Susumu, Susumu is the only one who sounds like he's gone through puberty LOL, so I automatically assumed that he was at least Okita's age LOL. I've been worrying about Saya as well! She is one of my favorite characters, and I really do hope they don't just forget about her. It's going to be hard to say what they'll do though since there are only 3 episodes left! ::tears:: I'm also interested to see what they'll do with Suzu. For some reason, I think he and Tetsu are going to have to face each other and fight as enemies. ::tears:: ~haruno_sakura
 12. Okay, after watching Episode 73, I would like to pose a question that popped into my mind when
Sandaime was explaining to Orochimaru of how the Seal works
.Now, for those of you who haven't seen up to this point in the anime/manga yet, you don't want to read the next part...
When Sandaime was explaining that once the seal was complete, the two souls of the ones in battle are caught forever in death to battle against each other for all eternity. The two souls go to neither death nor hell, and because Yondaime is the one who created the jutsu, where exactly is he? We all know that Kyuubi was sealed inside of Naruto, and if Yondaime was the one who sealed him, where did Yondaime's spirit go? Is he stuck forever in some sort of weird abyss in which he can never go to heaven?
This thought just really made me sad since Yondaime so owns me, haha, but I was just curious of how this jutsu really works?
Also, if Yondaime was the first to create the jutsu, then how does Sandaime really know that the two spirits involved will fight forever in death? It's not like Yondaime could come back and explain what really happens afterwards...
. It's just a confusing part, and I'm not sure what to make of it all LOL. ~haruno_sakura
 13.
That's what I love about the manga, also. : 3 Well, part of it. "Lee, you're such a f*g." Ahaha... Anyway, it's called, "It's the Spellbook of the Snow Princess" or something like that... Narutofan has some stuff on it... "Aiya! He's even more of a f*ggot than the first one!" That was the greatest. You could always just dl the manga...?^_^ I have the first volume in paper for the simple joy of having it. It's made the rounds amongst my classmates.^_^
I do download the fansubs and keep up with the current chapters available, but I still like buying the manga because I like supporting Masashi Kishimoto in any way I can. As soon as all the volumes come out in English, I'm totally deleting all the files from my computer, well...it's kind of illegal to have them in the first place since the manga is licensed and all. ^^;; I'd rather have the volumes by actually buying them, which is why I wish VIZ would release them a lot quicker. And what exactly does Narutofan say about the movie? Any hints on the what the plot may be?
 14.
Yeah i remember when I first read the manga, I actually loved it after i read the first page, which is very rare for me. But the anime really got me into Naruto, I guess seeing moving personalities, really let me identify with that was being told in the manga. Ahhh sweet Naruto memores ::single tear:: Anyone know if 3 is out already?
Actually, when you preorder the item on amazon.com, it says that the estimated shipping date is April 11th, or around April 11th. So we've got about a month and a half left before it comes out! Sighs. And there are about 20 something volumes out in Japan haha; it'll take absolutely forever for all of it to get here to the US. What I absolutely love about the manga is that it's a bit more vulgar than the anime. The language is a lot more explicit, and reminds of some things that me and my friends may say to each other haha. What I love about the anime are the seiyuu. They add so much more personality than I could ever get from reading the manga alone. My favorite seiyuu probably are Naruto's and Sasuke-kun's, just because I couldn't imagine Naruto sounding any other way, and Sasuke just sounds downright sexy haha. As for the movie, are there any more news on it besides that it's coming out in August? From rumors I've heard on another message board, it has something to do with a Snow Princess or snow at least, hahaha. Anyone else hear any other rumors? ~haruno_sakura
 15. I've actually teared up quite a few times during the anime, the first of which comes from the Haku/Zabuza arc.
I don't know how anyone cannot cry when Sasuke 'dies' fighting against Haku, or when Haku sacrifices himself for Zabuza. And the tears especially would not stop when Zabuza said that he wanted to be with Haku at the end...AWWW!
. The 2nd time that I think I started to cry was during the Chuunin exam in the Forest of Death when
Sakura cuts her hair to do her best to protect Naruto and Sasuke. And when Ino was watching her former best friend getting beat and started having all those flashbacks...haha, I couldn't stop crying.
. And because I love Neji so much, I couldn't stop crying when his past was revealed. I actually teared up when reading the manga first, so I knew what was going to happen, but knowing ahead of time and then watching the anime still didn't prevent me from bursting into tears haha. And more recently, (MAJOR MAJOR SPOILER)
the fight between Hokage and Orochimaru has me tearing up because of Sandaime's inevitable death. Tears!!! And showing the flashbacks with Hokage and Konohamaru...it's all sadness!
. As for which is better, I honestly love both the manga and anime equally. They both are able to give me the same amount of excitement, if you can believe that. I can't wait to see how the anime is going to handle the upcoming events...*waits impatiently for Itachi* ~haruno_sakura
