1. The first three I mention are actually quite solid, but the last two choices are ones that probably change often. 1 - L'Arc~en~Ciel: As one can probably notice from my signature/avatar pair, L'Arc~en~Ciel is my ultimate favorite group ever. Individually, Yukihiro, Tetsu, Ken and Hyde are talented in their own right, but when put together, they just become an unstoppable band. Those lucky enough to see them at Otakon04 (GRR, I still wish I could've gone, sobs) finally got to see how talented this band is. The composition of each song is perfect, and the lyrics are so good. They have a poetic type of quality that I honestly haven't found in a bunch of other bands. 2 - Asian Kung-Fu Generation: This band rocks. All their songs have catchy beats and melodies, and I really, really love Kensuke Kita's voice. He's got that huskiness that I really dig. LOL. I honestly haven't heard a song by them that I haven't liked. 3 - No Doubt: I just really like their songs. Never felt the need to look up any information on any of them, but their music really kicks so much ***. Gwen Stefani was probably the first female to ever really write songs that I could totally feel, esp "I'm Just A Girl." Ever since then, I've just been an avid listener of their music. 4 -Duel Jewel: I didn't really get into them until very recently, but they're really quite talented. I love their VK style, and their music is pretty damn cool. I had my doubts about them since I only heard a few of their songs before I got to see them live, but in concert, everything was just so much better. They totally know how to keep a show going, and they also played newer songs that I hadn't heard before, and those were much more polished than their earlier stuff. They've got a lot of potential to make it really big. 5 - Dir en Grey: Actually this last one was a toss-up between Dir en Grey and Glay, and I decided to put Dir en Grey in just because recently I've been listening to them more than I have to Glay. Dir en Grey has a really unique style, musically and appearance-wise. I'm not quite sure I have the words to describe them since...they're very indescribable, haha. Their music is simply awesome. They're really loud hard rock, and they're worth giving a listen to. ...Okay I need to start listening to genres other than JRock. I fear it has taken over my soul.
 2. Well for those who don't know already, the GetBackers center around Midou Ban and Amano Ginji, two best friends who form the Get Backers. Their goal is to get back whatever it is anyone has lost, and they go on all sorts of crazy adventures to do so. Amano Ginji has the power of electricity while Midou Ban has Snake Bite (in other words, an incredibly powerful grip LOL), as well as the Evil Eye (which will be explained within the manga, and I won't spoil that much for you). There are also quite a number of characters that you get introduced to, most of whom come from the two protagonists' different pasts. Then it starts to get totally complicated, but it's all really gripping. The manga is more shounen, with it's action and adventure theme, but it also gets a bit ecchi, so...don't let your parents get a hold of it, haha. j/p. I've seen all of the anime already, but I haven't read all of the manga just yet, so I can't really compare and contrast the two for those of you who want more information. However, because the anime got licensed, it's now under ADV, and they had the english voice actor list up on their site quite a while ago. I can't remember any names, though. Anyway, I hope that helps any of you.
 3.
What's this about the naruto manga not appearing in the next few weeks? What's this about Kishimoto 'Gathering info'? That's bullcrap! Anyone know what's going on? No_Regrets...out-
Yikes, I haven't been on this thread in the longest while, and I'm glad to see that it's grown. Feels good to be back on the thread, even though I can't even recognize half of the names anymore XD Getting back on-topic: I saw that on Chapter 224 I believe? But they also were able to release Chapter 225, so I'm not sure how much of a break Kishimoto-sensei is going to take. I was actually quite scared when I read that since the manga is really building up quite nicely. I hope he doesn't disappear after 225 because that left us off with quite the cliffhanger! And apparently episode 94 says that next week, we'll have another 1 hour special! w00t! I'm assuming it'll be episodes 95 and 96 back to back ^_^ Can't wait to see what they have in store for us.
 4. I'm having a bit of a problem with reading my comments. When I click on the link to read them, instead of having a window open up as it normally would, I get taken to the top of my mO page o_0; I thought that maybe it was just my mO so I went to a few of my friends' mO's and the same thing happens when I try to read their comments as well. I've deleted my cookies, and I've signed back onto mO, but it hasn't fixed the problem, so I don't know what it could be. Thanks in advance if anyone can help me fix it ^_^
 5.
Also, I didn't particularly like the singer's voice in general. It just didn't do anything for me.
*dies* :wow: I won't go all crazy fangirl on you, haha, but I personally love Hyde's voice, and I think "Hitomi no Juunin" features his range perfectly. He has such an impressive falsetto that not a lot of singers have, which is why I admire him lots. Overall, I think SMILE is great, but I do have my favorites among the ten tracks. Lover Boy - I'm still not sure what to feel about the lyrics, haha, but Ken does such an awesome job on this song, and he gets to showcase his talent when he gets this one solo part and goes all crazy with his guitar picking. I was completely amazed after hearing it. REVELATION - I love this song mainly because it makes me want to jump, haha. It's loud and noisy and especially repetitive, but I think it's great. Hitomi no Juunin - I mostly love it because of Hyde's range on this song. I feel he's incredibly powerful in it, and I just really love his voice. LOL ^_^ Kuchizuke - I actually really like how this song is the first track, especially with that guitar riff at the beginning. It totally grabs me from the start...and I can't get over Hyde singing, "And you're burning with desire...give in to me." LOL. READY STEADY GO - Haha, when this came out, I was addicted to it right away, and I couldn't stop listening to it. This song really is awesome, and once again I second wrist cutter's recommondation: if Hitomi no Juunin was lacking percussion for you, then READY STEADY GO might be the way to go ^_^ It's incredibly fast-paced, and at first, it sounds a bit weird, but once you get into it...It's just awesome, haha. One song that I don't really like on SMILE though is Eien. I just can't get into it...it's lacking something (or several things, haha) that I can't put my finger on, but meh. The song just isn't their best. ~haruno_sakura
 6. I actually really love this show just because each of the Fab 5 is so funny in his own special way. My favorite would have to be Thom just because it's amazing how he can totally transform a room and make it look really awesome! I seriously want him to redecorate my house, haha. And I absolutely adore Carson because he's just so funny and witty, and he'll say the most random things that make me crack up hysterically. As for a memorable episode, I think my favorite would have to be one of the recent ones in which they made over this tall Korean-American guy. His dog was just sooo cute and adorable, albeit a little rowdy, haha. And even after the make-over, it was so funny how the Fab 5 were clowning on his girlfriend for being too high maintenance because it seemed like she didn't enjoy any of the changes that happened and the poor guy was trying his hardest to please her. That was such an awesome episode, and I couldn't stop giggling, even after it ended. It certainly is an incredibly entertaining show ^_^ ~haruno_sakura
 7.
Apparently Nagatani from SURFACE plays guitar on BoA's "Rock With You". I've never heard the song, because I don't care for BoA one bit, but he's an awesome guitarist. Anyhow, SMILE has not come for me yet. That's the last time I ever use the post office for shipping, because this wait is killing me.
I actually re-listened to "Rock With You" after reading your reply and tried to listen more for the guitar. However, it's totally downplayed and can't exactly be heard all that well until the bridge and refrain, which is really sad if they had an awesome guitarist do it. But I guess one can't expect too much from a really Pop/Dance kind of song. Laruku's SMILE is ...wow. I don't know how to describe it. I really love the excellent guitar and bass work done on this album (*bows down before Ken and Tetsu*), and the vocals are amazing as always. Hyde never fails to impresses me with his falsetto and overall vocal style because I seriously don't know a lot of guys who can sing like that. Yukihiro has his electronic type of influence on REVELATION, and I actually really like it, especially since I find the song incredibly catchy; I can't get it out of my head, haha. I really love this album, but then again, I may be incredibly biased, as I think that everything they do is amazing ^^;; ~haruno_sakura
 8.
Utada Hikaru and BoA have got to be the best! I love the theme song for Kingdom Hearts in which Utada Hikaru sings, and BoA does a great job singing for some of the songs on Inu Yasha! My favorite song though, is Wild Wind sung by Hiyama Nobuyuki and Oogata Megumi. I can sing all the words to it. Another good song is Kirei na Kanjou sung by Arai Akino. I think its a song on Noir, I've never seen the anime but I've heard of it.
When it comes to Utada Hikaru, I personally like "Uso mitai na I Love You" as it has more of a rock music type feel and it's something quite different from her other songs. And I have to say I like "Hikari" as well, though I'm not quite sure about the English version, "Simple and Clean." I think the refrain's higher melody range for "Hikari" flows much better with the rest of the song. In any case, I love playing it on the guitar ^_^ BoA is cool, when I'm in a really "pop" kind of mood, haha. I actually listen to her Korean songs lots more than I listen to her Japanese songs, mainly because those are the versions I have ^^;; Her video for "Rock With You" is actually pretty cool. I like how the camera rotates around her in 360 degrees for a majority of the song; it's such a disoriented feeling ^_^ On a much happier note, my copy of L'Arc~en~Ciel's SMILE has finally arrived at my house, w00t! ~haruno_sakura
 9.
Laruku are definately a talented band, whereas Hyde is just a pretty boy with a high voice. He isnt even that pretty of a pretty boy. I feel sorry for his newborn.
That's extremely harsh, I'd say. To reduce Hyde's vocal range to merely "a high voice" is really underestimating his talent as a vocalist. I'm not even going to comment on his looks because that's totally secondary; people tend to focus on that without taking a look at his talent as a musician. I think he adds just the right flavor to L'Arc~en~Ciel, especially since he doesn't just sing for the band. At times, you can find him playing the guitar or even the saxophone, and his lyrics are also quite incredible. To call him just 'a pretty boy with a high voice' is as ignorant a statement if I ever heard one. Why is it you feel this way? Which Laruku songs or Hyde's own songs made you form this opinion? ~haruno_sakura
 10.
Number 2: How does the Jutsu work?? I have no idea what you mean, you saw what it does lol.
It seems you have misread my post ^_^; I feel the need to clarify once again what I have said. I know technically HOW the Jutsu works, but right before I had asked my question, I stated the specific givens of the situation under which my confusion stemmed. I was questioning what would have happen afterwards
to the two souls who are supposedly joined forever to battle together in death. Yondaime was the one who created the jutsu, but it is only his soul that was trapped as Kyuubi is hidden within Naruto. Therefore, how does Sandaime know that two souls are supposed to fight forever when Yondaime's soul has no one to fight at all?
. And as for Orochimaru, (don't read this if you haven't caught up to the manga),
only the soul from his hands get trapped with Sandaime, so does Saindaime just forever fight with Orochimaru's hands? LOL. It's really quite funny to imagine it.
And as for the
blue spirit that the Death God holds within his hand, that is supposed to represent the person who calls the jutsu. As you can see, when the Death God's hands go through the blue body, it ends up coming through Sandaime's chest, so it definitely isn't Yondaime because his soul is gone in some dark abyss fighting nothing when he should be fighting Kyuubi's soul, which is impossible as he sealed it in Naruto's.
And that's where the 'how' in my question stems from. How does anyone know at all that the
two souls are joined forever together to fight when it hasn't ever been done before? I guess it's possible like you said that the Death God somehow explains the consequences to the summoner once the jutsu is performed, but technically, the only two to have ever done the jutsu, Yondaime and Sandaime, do not end up with another soul to fight against as the enemy souls are hidden elsewhere. So what happens to Sandaime and Yondaime? Are they just alone for all time in death since they cannot be in heaven or hell?
It is never really fully clarified, which is why I felt the need to point out the holes within the narrative in order to find answers to my question. And Godel, you bring up an excellent possiblity that I had not thought about ever, and that is that
Yondaime might actually be sealed with Kyuubi within Naruto, but then my question would be, why hadn't Naruto seen or heard Yondaime when he had gone within himself to demand chakra from Kyuubi as he was falling from the cliff that Jiraiya had shoved him from? Wouldn't Naruto then have 3 different chakras instead of two, should Yondaime be within him? Naruto himself says he only feels two different kinds of chakra, and they are his own and Kyuubi's which would then mean that if Yondaime was sealed with Kyuubi within Naruto, he would have to be dormant which would then conflict with the supposed deal of the two sealed souls fighting each other for all eternity.
. And that brings me back to my original question.
Where is Yondaime's soul, and is he just alone in some limbo all by himself? And because Sandaime is somewhat in the same position, will he, too, suffer the same fate of loneliness for all eternity? LOL, I actually wish that both Yondaime and Sandaime end up in the same limbo space so that at least they can keep each other company because the thought of both them alone within their own dimension is too depressing haha
. ~haruno_sakura
 11.
Isn't it difficult to imagine that Tetsu, Susumu and Suzu are all the same age? This makes the conflict between Tetsu and each of the others even more dramatic, but I have a hard time convincing myself that Susumu isn't as old as Okita. >_>; Since it's ending so soon, my main worry is that certain characters--particularly Saya--will end up being neglected. But I have faith in PMK's creators. ^_^
AH, I haven't been on this thread in a while ; __ ; Anyway, I didn't even know that Susumu was Tetsu's age! o_0 I always thought of him as someone older, haha, mainly because he's so much taller LOL. Also, because he was always quite reserved and quiet, he came off as more mature to me. o_0 Also, out of Tetsu, Suzu and Susumu, Susumu is the only one who sounds like he's gone through puberty LOL, so I automatically assumed that he was at least Okita's age LOL. I've been worrying about Saya as well! She is one of my favorite characters, and I really do hope they don't just forget about her. It's going to be hard to say what they'll do though since there are only 3 episodes left! ::tears:: I'm also interested to see what they'll do with Suzu. For some reason, I think he and Tetsu are going to have to face each other and fight as enemies. ::tears:: ~haruno_sakura
 12. Okay, after watching Episode 73, I would like to pose a question that popped into my mind when
Sandaime was explaining to Orochimaru of how the Seal works
.Now, for those of you who haven't seen up to this point in the anime/manga yet, you don't want to read the next part...
When Sandaime was explaining that once the seal was complete, the two souls of the ones in battle are caught forever in death to battle against each other for all eternity. The two souls go to neither death nor hell, and because Yondaime is the one who created the jutsu, where exactly is he? We all know that Kyuubi was sealed inside of Naruto, and if Yondaime was the one who sealed him, where did Yondaime's spirit go? Is he stuck forever in some sort of weird abyss in which he can never go to heaven?
This thought just really made me sad since Yondaime so owns me, haha, but I was just curious of how this jutsu really works?
Also, if Yondaime was the first to create the jutsu, then how does Sandaime really know that the two spirits involved will fight forever in death? It's not like Yondaime could come back and explain what really happens afterwards...
. It's just a confusing part, and I'm not sure what to make of it all LOL. ~haruno_sakura
 13.
That's what I love about the manga, also. : 3 Well, part of it. "Lee, you're such a f*g." Ahaha... Anyway, it's called, "It's the Spellbook of the Snow Princess" or something like that... Narutofan has some stuff on it... "Aiya! He's even more of a f*ggot than the first one!" That was the greatest. You could always just dl the manga...?^_^ I have the first volume in paper for the simple joy of having it. It's made the rounds amongst my classmates.^_^
I do download the fansubs and keep up with the current chapters available, but I still like buying the manga because I like supporting Masashi Kishimoto in any way I can. As soon as all the volumes come out in English, I'm totally deleting all the files from my computer, well...it's kind of illegal to have them in the first place since the manga is licensed and all. ^^;; I'd rather have the volumes by actually buying them, which is why I wish VIZ would release them a lot quicker. And what exactly does Narutofan say about the movie? Any hints on the what the plot may be?
 14.
Yeah i remember when I first read the manga, I actually loved it after i read the first page, which is very rare for me. But the anime really got me into Naruto, I guess seeing moving personalities, really let me identify with that was being told in the manga. Ahhh sweet Naruto memores ::single tear:: Anyone know if 3 is out already?
Actually, when you preorder the item on amazon.com, it says that the estimated shipping date is April 11th, or around April 11th. So we've got about a month and a half left before it comes out! Sighs. And there are about 20 something volumes out in Japan haha; it'll take absolutely forever for all of it to get here to the US. What I absolutely love about the manga is that it's a bit more vulgar than the anime. The language is a lot more explicit, and reminds of some things that me and my friends may say to each other haha. What I love about the anime are the seiyuu. They add so much more personality than I could ever get from reading the manga alone. My favorite seiyuu probably are Naruto's and Sasuke-kun's, just because I couldn't imagine Naruto sounding any other way, and Sasuke just sounds downright sexy haha. As for the movie, are there any more news on it besides that it's coming out in August? From rumors I've heard on another message board, it has something to do with a Snow Princess or snow at least, hahaha. Anyone else hear any other rumors? ~haruno_sakura
 15. I've actually teared up quite a few times during the anime, the first of which comes from the Haku/Zabuza arc.
I don't know how anyone cannot cry when Sasuke 'dies' fighting against Haku, or when Haku sacrifices himself for Zabuza. And the tears especially would not stop when Zabuza said that he wanted to be with Haku at the end...AWWW!
. The 2nd time that I think I started to cry was during the Chuunin exam in the Forest of Death when
Sakura cuts her hair to do her best to protect Naruto and Sasuke. And when Ino was watching her former best friend getting beat and started having all those flashbacks...haha, I couldn't stop crying.
. And because I love Neji so much, I couldn't stop crying when his past was revealed. I actually teared up when reading the manga first, so I knew what was going to happen, but knowing ahead of time and then watching the anime still didn't prevent me from bursting into tears haha. And more recently, (MAJOR MAJOR SPOILER)
the fight between Hokage and Orochimaru has me tearing up because of Sandaime's inevitable death. Tears!!! And showing the flashbacks with Hokage and Konohamaru...it's all sadness!
. As for which is better, I honestly love both the manga and anime equally. They both are able to give me the same amount of excitement, if you can believe that. I can't wait to see how the anime is going to handle the upcoming events...*waits impatiently for Itachi* ~haruno_sakura
 16. Hi, I feel really dumb about this, but I deleted my mO profile without fully realizing what I was doing (major brain fart), and I was wondering if it's possible for it to be reactivated. thanks >.> ~haruno_sakura
 17.
Originally posted by ssjSolarPrinces Well, anyway, my favorite character has either got to be Lita (I don't remember her Japanese name) or Saiya.
Lita's Japanese name is Makoto ^_^ I have to agree that watching Sailor Moon now is quite a different experience than when I first watched it a long time ago when I was still in junior high. I used to love it like no other when I was much younger, and when I go back now and rewatch a few episodes that I've recorded, I find that it's more than a little repetitive, and Usagi actually annoys me a lot now, whereas before, I really loved her character. It's not so much the outfits or the hair that annoy me; it's just that each episode ends with Usagi defeating her enemy each time, and the character development is just bland. I know I'm always mentioning the Live Action version, but I actually find the Live Action a lot more fulfilling in terms of developing the characters. The fighting sequences are horrible, but the characters actually have lots of different dimensions to their personalities which is something I look for. I can finally sympathize with them now, which is something I couldn't exactly say when I watched the anime a long while ago. ~haruno_sakura
 18. Yes, I, too, like the Sealed Card, mostly because of the conflict within Sakura to
express her feelings toward Syaoran.
. Throughout most of the anime, Sakura is quite naive and very cheerful, so it's great to see her go through different emotional levels throughout the 2nd movie. I don't even know how I would have handled her situation in which
she had to lose her dearest feeling (her love for Syaoran) to seal up the final card, without having told him how much she loved him. And to have the card chose him as the one to take the precious feeling away from must have been quite a shock. I would have gone completely mad!
~haruno_sakura
 19.
Originally posted by SasukeUchiha I cant stand the Ino/Choji/Shika team. I find them annoying. lol. I am sure I will get an earful for saying that.

Ah, Sasuke-kun, yes you will get an earful for speaking such words of blasphemy to your wifey haha. First, I would love to defend my beloved Shikamaru, though I can't! There are so many things that I'd love to talk about in concerns with Shika-kun, but I can't say much without revealing what happens in the future, and I know you hate it when I do spoilers, so you must wait to see more of Shikamaru's brilliance, haha. You may think his jutsu isn't all that great, but he really is quite the smart one, and what I love most about Shikamaru is the way he can plan and predict movements way in advance. This brilliance of his will be put to great use, though I cannot say more than that without putting a spoiler tag. You may not think highly of him now, but once you see what happens next, you may think differently of him... As I recall, you used to hate Neji because of what he did to Hinata, but after seeing another side of him when
he fought against Naruto in the final Chuunin exams and revealed his past
, he's one of your fave characters now ^^;; Hopefully, the same will be said for Shikamaru. He's really awesome, and I think his worthiness will be proved in the upcoming episodes. I love how they developed his character in the manga, so hopefully they'll successfully show how cool he really is in the anime. Anyone else in agreement with me? Or anyone feeling the same way as Sasuke-kun? I'd love to hear anything concerning my favorite lazy shinobi! As for Sakura's feelings for Sasuke...they're definitely not motherly. Hahaha, once again I point to the manga, particularly Volume 21 Chapter 181. After reading that, there's absolutely no way Sakura feels just 'motherly' toward him, and it will be revealed in the anime soon enough. I do agree that the whole crush rivalry thing between Sakura and Ino isn't really relavant anymore, but it's clearly the basis for their attitudes toward one another, which was why I alluded to it. It makes it fun to see their interactions, using their 'crushes' on Sasuke as a cover up for the competition between the two of them. The reason I mentioned their rivalry wasn't for the relavance of it; I was merely stating that from the givens in the manga and anime, Ino doesn't seem to stand a chance with Sasuke, which I thought was quite fine, since I think she's perfect for Shikamaru, haha. As for Sakura having feelings for Lee, I can see it too, to tell you the truth, but I think most of it stems from the fact that
he risked his life to save hers in the Forest of Death, and she saw his dedication to proving his Nindo when fighting Gaara. From what I gather, she admires him and looks up to him because he works hard to accomplish his dream, and watching him work so hard makes her want to work hard as well because she hasn't done much except watch those on her team. He's helped her in a way to realize that she needs to work hard on her own to become a great kunoichi, and that alone would help her feel for him. I do see possible romance between them, but Sakura is going to have to relinquish her everlasting love for Sasuke to actually see Lee in the romantic sense. Sakura really, genuinely loves Sasuke a lot and it wasn't until Volume 21 Chapter 181 that I fully believed it. I had my doubts about her feelings, but I'm really quite sure of it now. There is absolutely no way that she would go for Rock Lee unless Sasuke is taken out, though I would like to see Lee and Sakura get together. That would be quite the couple haha.
What does everyone else think about the possible pairing between Lee x Sakura? Oh, and about the earful about the InoShikaChou group, haha I totally forgot about it when I digressed right from the beginning of this insanely long post. Anyway, here it is! [begin rant]I can't believe you don't like the InoShikaChou group! I think they're the most 'real' out of all the teams because they remind me so much of people I know in real life. The other characters, as much as I love them, aren't as real to me. For example, I know a bunch of people who are incredibly smart, but so lazy, like Shikamaru. I know a few girls who act like Ino, who'll stand up for her friends, though may come off as a bit aloof and snotty. And yep, there are even a few people I know who'd be content eating all day like Chouji. That's also why I love that group; they act like my friends. They're not perfect, but they keep things real, haha. They may be annoying, but I think it's their annoying habits that remind me of why they're so...human.[/end rant] As for a team that would have made my favorites list, I'd like to bring up Gai's team: Neji, Lee, and Tenten. I would have said that they are one of my favorite teams, but because Tenten hasn't been fully developed as a character yet, except as Neji's cheerleader, I can't really say much about her. Neji is really cool, and his past is tragic, but it's because of his past that makes him a little hard to relate to because of his unique situation in concerns with his father and uncle. The only one who I feel I can relate to in that team would be Lee, because he works so hard to achieve his dream, and I sympathize with him because his talent isn't just handed down to him. He reminds me a bit of William Hung from the American Idol auditions ("She Bangs! She Bangs!") with his attitude toward work ethics, except Lee takes it to the extreme, pushing himself harder each and every time he trains. It's because of that that I find him the most admirable on his team. That's just another two cents (more like a dollar haha) to the discussion of favorite teams. Any thoughts on Tenten, Neji, and Lee? On a different note, Episode 69 was quite interesting, in fact. I was discussing this with Sasuke-kun, and it is mutually agreed upon that Sandaime is the man! Speaking of Sandaime, I'd just like to reinstate my theory about
Hokage-sama, Asuma, and Konohamaru. I was talking about this with Sasuke-kun, and I'd like to hear other takes on this, just in case I'm being overanalytical. I mentioned before a few pages ago that Sandaime is referred to by Orochimaru as Sarutobi-sensei. Asuma's last name is Sarutobi, and there is quite a resemblence between Sandaime, Asuma, and Konohamaru-kun. That said, I would like to know if anyone else thinks I'm crazy in thinking that Asuma could be Konohamaru-kun's father, or uncle, even?
The only one who ever commented on my crazy idea from a few pages ago was Sasuke-kun, who had said earlier that I was thinking too much, but now says it may be possible. Anyone else's take on that? I haven't done much research, except for the name connection game, so if there's anyone here who knows more about it, I'd love to hear your responses. Also, another thing that I've been wondering about. There are quite a few rivalries mentioned within the manga/anime,
whether between Lee and Neji, or Gai and Kakashi, Sakura and Ino, Sasuke and Naruto, etc.
Which of these do you wish the manga/anime would focus more on or give more detail to, and which of these rivalries do you think has no real validity to at all? ~haruno_sakura I deeply apologize for my extremely lengthy post haha ^_^;
 20.
Originally posted by Dan Rugh Your opinions on the teams?
My favorite team would actually have to be the InoShikaChou team just because I really love their teamwork as seen in the Chuunin Exams. And who doesn't love Shikamaru?! He's just so darn smart, though he could care less about anything except how pretty clouds are LOL! Shikamaru is just so awesome ^_^ And I love Chouji! His appetite is just so endearing; I love how nothing seems to bother him much as long as he has food to cheer him up afterwards lol ^_^ and the way he wears the Konoha headband on his head is so adorable. It looks like upside-down underwear! ^_^ As for Ino, her confidence in herself is what I like best haha, and her jutsu is so cool!
I would love to have the ability to do a mind transfer, though the only downside to it would be the vulnerablity your body once you leave it. I actually think she would have been able to defeat Sakura if Sakura hadn't had Inner Sakura in her mind haha
. As much as I think Ino is cool, I totally don't see how much of a rival she is against Sakura for Sasuke's love puwahaha. Then again, I'm a full Ino x Shikamaru, and Sasuke x Sakura supporter, so I'm probably being biased haha. But as much as I love the InoShikaChou group, my ultimate favorite team is Team Seven, hands down. I think it's mostly because the anime and manga focus on them all the time that it's hard not to like any of them, even though they each have their own little annoying habits, haha. Anyway, Kagari, welcome to the Boards and to the Naruto thread! Glad you could join us!!! What episodes have you caught up to, and if you read the manga, what part are you on? Has anyone seen Episode 69? These episodes seriously need to be longer, like maybe an hour-long, haha! 20 minutes isn't enough to satisfy my Naruto addiction!!! ~haruno_sakura
 21. I'm a major in Film Production so I do the same type of things ^_^ I absolutely love working with cameras, though lighting is also something that I'm totally interested in. However, the few things that I'd really love to do for film production would either be directing, screenwriting, or editting. Editing on FCP all day long would be so much fun to do for a living haha ^_^ ~haruno_sakura
 22. I actually didn't get to see this wonderful movie until yesterday, and I absolutely loved it. As everyone has stated before, the animation is wonderful, and the storytelling style is marvelous. The one thing I want to add to it is that the comedic elements help balance out the sadness throughout this film. The reporters succeed in doing this, and I found them quite endearing throughout the entire movie. As for the last line that Chiyoko utters in the space ship, it hit me a lot harder than anything else in the movie. It had me questioning if she really did love the strange man she met in her youth. Excellent movie, and I so want to watch it again lol! ~haruno_sakura
 23.
Originally posted by Dagger IX1 On a different note, I'm quite curious about
Okita's evil twin.
Have you come up with any theories regarding who he truly is? ~Dagger~
I actually have no idea who he truly is, and I've been trying to make sense of it all, but no go. I actually felt terrible for Hotaru when she interacted with
Okita's evil 'twin'
because she
has such a cute crush on Okita that to see her think he's really evil makes me feel sorry for her. She may seem a little ditzy and all, but I actually don't find her that annoying LOL ^^;;
. Anyway, whatever he is, he's going to cause big problems for the Shinsengumi for sure, and particularly for Okita. I can't wait to see the next episode, and I hope things turn out alright for Okita, especially since he's my favorite character ^^;; ~haruno_sakura p.s. The interaction between Okita and Tatsunosuke is just hilarious!! Dunno why, but my slightly overactive imagination wants to see shounen ai LOLLLL. >.>
 24. The only category which I really care about this year is Best Supporting Actor, mainly because I hope Ken Watanabe wins! His performance in the Last Samurai was captivating, and I personally think he was the big star of the film and not Tom Cruise. I was elated to find out that he had gotten a nomination! I also hope that Lord of the Rings finally wins Best Picture, mainly because I'm an LOTR fangirl haha, but I truly think that Peter Jackon did a superb job in creating three films simultaneously, and at least one of them needs the Best Picture Award. Filmmaking is hard enough for one movie, but to do three at the same time it just incredible. ~haruno_sakura
 25.
Originally posted by Semjaza Azazel You know, I don't want to sound like a jerk, but I don't get why some people would name Johnny Depp. It's not just in this thread, but in general. So many people have seen Pirates of the Carribean and apprently have become his biggest fans because of it. Mentions of his other films are rarely made. It's just Pirates over and over. And not to single you out, SasukeUchiha, lol... but have you seen him anything else? I don't know how anyone could not think Depp, of all people, would not be able to pull that character off based on his past. I don't really feel that Jack Sparrow is anymore difficult to pull off than Raoul Duke in Fear and Loathing. Oh well lol. Depp is my favorite actor because he's been amongst the top few for many, many years. Edward Scissorhands, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Blow, Ed Wood, Dead Man, etc. Even if the film he is in isn't that good, he alone seemingly saves it with his performance. I can't say I would have even cared about Pirates of the Carribean if it weren't for him.
I actually have to agree with Semjaza Azazel on this one, too. I mentioned the same thing on the Pirates thread before. Johnny Depp captured my attention when I was wee a little thing watching 21 Jump Street when he was a virtual unknown, and I can't believe it took this long for people to recognize him. He's been awesome in absolutely everything that he's been in, my favorite being Crybaby! I honestly have to say Johnny Depp is one of my absolute favorite actors out there. I also want to add more movies that I love to Semjaza Azazel's list (which I agree on completely): Crybaby, Sleepy Hollow, From Hell, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Benny and Joon, and more recently Once Upon A Time In Mexico (which I thought was alright, though Johnny Depp saved it for me). I also really love Tom Hanks. I think it was his performance in Philidelphia that really hooked me because his acting was just splendid in that one, and then he followed it up with Forrest Gump which made him a staple in my favorite actor's list. And virtually unknown, underrated actor that I'm completely in love with is Alexis Cruz. Not a lot of people know who he is, but he's been in movies like Stargate, Streets of Laredo, Riot in the Streets, the Price of Love, and loads more, including a really terrible film from the 80s called Rooftops (though he was great in it!). He's also made guest appearances on Stargate SG-1 and Touched By An Angel, and the roles he undertakes are so versitile and he has the talent to pull them off. I wish more people would notice him haha ^^; Anyway, I'm only sticking to three actors right now. I can't think of anymore at the moment. ~haruno_sakura
