1. I actually feel really old in trying to remember all these shows that I saw when I was little. I was addicted to the Lil Bits!!! ^_^ Er, they actually started showing that show when I wasn't even remotely little, but haha, I loved it anyway ^_^ Or that one show with that girl and the koala? They would go on adventures with a bunch of koalas...I can't remember the name of it LOL. And I also really loved David the Gnome!!! And does anyone remember on Nick Jr when they used to show Grimm's Fairy Tales??? I think it was actually anime, but I'm not even sure LOL, but I loved watching that show, too. As a kid, I watched Ghostwriter a lot. It freaked me out a little bit, but I thought it was cool at the same time! LOL. As for when I was really, REALLY little, I think Jem was one of the first I've ever really watched. When I was little older, I'd say the Rescue Rangers, GummiBears, Alvin and the Chipmonks, and Denver the Last Dinosaur LOL. I also watched Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles alot because my brother loved them so much. Ah, there are so many more. If I can remember some, I'll mention them later ^_^
 2.
Originally posted by rttocs77 Thanks. Even back then though they didn't put EVERYONE involved in the credits at the beginning. Seriously guys though, it takes a lot of work on everyone part to make a movie (even crappy ones), it only makes sense to sit through the 5-10 minutes worth of credits, if not out of respect to those involved in the filmmaking process, but to see if there is anything interested afterwards.
I agree wholeheartedly! I stay because who knows? One day my name will be up there as an editor or something XD LOL. But in all seriousness, filmmaking is tremendously hard work, and I want to give my respects to fellow filmmakers who've spent hours upon hours trying to put a movie together. It's a little sad that not many seem to bother looking at who the screenwriter(s) and cinematographers are, much less gaffers and grips, wardrobe, set design, etc. Without those working behind the screen, a film cannot exist at all, and acknowledging their impact on the film shouldn't be seen as a bother. Walking out on the credits is almost like walking out on someone making an important speech. IMHO, we should be throwing praises their way for their efforts; without people doing work behind the screen, movies would not exist, and without the influence of films, television wouldn't be around either (I better stop before I start quoting Eisenstein, Arnheim, Metz and Mulvey XD). Of course, that's just me. I come from a perspective where I'm working hard to get into film production, so I like to give my appreciation in any way I can to those who do what I want to do. Sitting through 15 minutes of credits is the least I can do. :gets off of soapbox:
 3.
Originally posted by Haze_Gundam006 1.What program is that you are using? 2. Are you editing these pictures yourself? Or are you jsut finding them and making papers? 3. Where are you getting these pictures? I am really glad that you decided to post these! They are very good! I hope to see more. ^^ ~haze
Haze, Thank you very much for the compliments, and the feedback! I'll try the different color combinations with the text "angel" to see if it'll fade a little more into the background as not to draw more attention to it ^_^ 1. I use Photoshop 6, and although I know 7 is available, I haven't had time to get it, nor do I have the funds to put money down for it ^_^ 2. I edit the pictures myself. Their original colors are wonderful, but I usually edit them to go with the color theme I want to go for, or sometimes I need to blur it for a blend or something of that nature ^_^ 3. I get my pictures from the artbook that's available for DN Angel, which I highly recommend!! The artwork is absolutely fantastic, and a must have for any DNAngel fan ^_^
Originally posted by Evolved_Dragon Oh wow! You have such a great talent. No doubt surpassed mine, and maybe everyone in the OB. I never seen such incredible work. I hope that you contnue to make banners and wallpapers, because these wallpapers are magnifico!
Evolved_Dragon, Thank you v. much!! ^_^ I'm blushing LOL. I am working on new wallpapers and banners, but I'm not sure how quickly I'll get them up as I have film papers to focus on right now -_-' Sigh!
Originally posted by Eclectic You have an AMAZING talent for photo manipulation and a good eye for distinct colour combinations. I don't understand why Anime Wallpapers wouldn't want them, but I very much would.
Eclectic, Thank you!!! I'm still waiting for a reply from Anime Wallpapers, and I'm guessing that they haven't had a chance to update yet...but I've only been waiting about a week and half, so it really hasn't been that long! Hopefully they'll accept my work ^_^ Again, thank you everyone for checking out my work and giving me feedback!!! ^_^ I greatly appreciate it, and I'll definitely upload more wallpapers and banners! Hugs, Val aka Haruno_Sakura aka isis112
 4. I've done a few DNAngel wallpapers, and I've submitted them to animewallpapers.com, but I never heard from them, so I'd really like to know your feedback so that I could improve! I'd greatly appreciate it! Wallpaper 1: This wallpaper is dedicated to Dark (click link below) Wallpaper 2: Dedicated to Daisuke Niwa Wallpaper 3: Dedicated to Hiwatari Satoshi // Krad
 5. Rurouni Kenshin gets my vote, hands down! There really hasn't been another anime (well...Naruto is an exception ^_^) out there that has touched me on so many different emotional levels! The storyline is wonderful, and I love every single one of the characters. Kenshin is such an endearing fellow, and I'll never ever get sick of his "Oro?!" ^_^
 6.
Originally posted by Cahoots34 Speaking of outrageous editings, is anyone else completely terrified of how Naruto will be translated? (I mean from a yaoi-content-related standpoint, naturally.) The
Sasuke/Naruto kiss
scene probably wouldn't air, and I'd bet _at least_ five dollars on Haku getting an impromptu gender change, or becoming Zabuza's distant relative's dog's groomer's owner's half-aunt-twice-removed's ex-adopeted son (or something to that effect. They can't possibly pull of the 'cousins' trick again.). If it becomes another Sailor Moon distaster, where everone suspects incest where once was poignant romance, some translators are going to be getting more than just some nasty letters from me. If the children of America can watch pop stars of the same gender kiss not only at awards ceremonies but also in every newspaper across the contry for weeks afterwards, you'd _think_ someone might have realized that we just _might_ be ready to handle shounen-ai and shoujo-ai!
I'm completely terrified of how the anime will be edited! I was a bit afraid to buy the Viz publication of Naruto - Volume 1 (the manga) because I didn't know how they would edit it, but everything is still in there, including
the accidental kiss scene between Naruto and Sasuke
, so hopefully they won't touch a thing when it comes to publishing the chapters with Zabuza and Haku! As for the anime, I'm not hopeful at all. If ever the anime does get licensed in America, I agree that Haku will be castrated. They couldn't handle Sailor Moon or the shounen ai implications in Cardcaptor Sakura, so I highly doubt they'll allow Haku to remain as is..If that's the case, which it probably will be, I'm going to demand an uncut version be put on DVD so I can watch Naruto in all its uncensored glory, but I'm not sure if they'll even listen to my inevitable complaints ^_^
 7.
Originally posted by ~Mystical Pan~ @haruno_sakura. I must completely disagree...Kakashi isn't a pervert. :p And about Itachi...read the manga. He's SO much more handsome than Sasuke. I really don't like Sasuke. Also, I wouldn't describe Itachi as a dark, brooding boy. More like just dark and evil. LOL
Haha, okay, okay, Kakashi isn't really a pervert (unlike Jiraiya-sama! EEP!); he just likes to read perverted novels LOL. I actually do read the manga, and IMHO there's something really mysterious about Itachi (who I totally agree is much more handsome than Sasuke) that I think goes deeper than being just plain evil. LOL I think he has to have some major issues especially since he didn't completely wipe out his entire clan...if he was just plain evil, Sasuke would have died along with his mom and dad. Oh...then again, keeping Sasuke alive to suffer alone is more evil than killing him...Oh now I'm confusing myself. hahaha You're actually one of the many people that tell me that they don't like Sasuke, which I can actually understand a bit. He's vengeful, conceited and stubborn...but I love him anyway LOL. To get back on topic, now that I'm looking over my list, I think I should move Kakashi up a bit further; Sasuke can't pull off the Sharingan the way Kakashi can, which is a little sad, considering Kakashi isn't even part of the Uchiha clan. Then again Kakashi has had a ton more experience with it ^_^ But anyway, there's only one guy that I'd probably love to date above everyone else: Nara Shikamaru! How he ended up at my 10th spot the other day is beyond me. He's a lazy (well, I actually prefer the term 'laidback') guy who wouldn't mind just watching the clouds pass by. ^_^ With all the stress I'm experiencing right now, I wouldn't mind having a boyfriend like him to relax with. LOL.
 8. There are way too many characters I would love to meet! As for favorites, if I got to meet Nara Shikamaru from Naruto, I guess all we'd be able to do all day is watch the clouds pass by since he's such a lazy guy LOL. I'd really love to meet Tsunade-sama because she seems so cool, and she's probably the only kunoichi out of the whole series who looks like she can do more damage than anyone, which isn't any surprise
since she is the 5th Hokage and all
. I'd so ask her to train me and teach me all her jutsu! My least favorite... I can't think of one, but I'm pretty sure if I ever met someone I didn't like, I probably would avoid them at all costs, as boring as that may sound. I wouldn't want any confrontation ^_^
 9. Like others have commented before, I got really emotional in episodes 18-19 of Naruto when
Haku and Zabuza die. When Zabuza breaks down into tears after Naruto tells him off for being so cold-hearted, I honestly couldn't stop crying. Just thinking about it right now is making me tear up! And when it starts to snow, and Zabuza asks Kakashi to set him next to Haku so that he could be by his side at the end...and a snowflake lands on Haku's face, melting into what looks like a tear, I was seriously sobbing for a good fifteen minutes afterwards!
Another emotional part for me was in Episodes 32-33 when
Sakura is left alone trying to protect Naruto and Sasuke from the sound ninjas, and it shows Ino recalling the past. It is such a growing point for Sakura because she's always been protected, and she finally shows that she'd give up superficialities for her friends
. Other emotional moments that I can think of are from the Kenshin OVAs.
As much as I love Kenshin and Kaoru together, Tomoe's role in Kenshin's life is instrumental in Kenshin's development as a swordsman and to see Kenshin kill her...I was speechless. In the Reflection OVA, when Sanosuke throws Kenshin the fish, and he can't even catch it...To see Kenshin so weak when I've only seen him as a strong swordsman was heartbreaking! And to see him finally come home only to collapse in death in Kaoru's arms...Sob!
. As for one that I haven't seen mentioned, I would have to bring up a moment in the 2nd to last episode of Scrapped Princess when
Pacifica finally gets to meet her twin brother after almost 16 years of life, and when they finally start to talk, and Pacifica babbles on and on, her brother pulls her in close for a hug. He then stabs her with his sword, and you can see her surrogate brother and sister looking on with smiles plastered on their faces before realization sets in as to what has happened...I had to pause the episode because I couldn't take it!
. It was such a good series!! *runs off to watch it over again*
 10. I really, really love "Duvet" by Boa, the opening song for Lain. And "Freckles" from Rurouni Kenshin is also really great!! My all-time favorite must be "Haruka Kanata" by Asian Kung-Fu Generation, the 2nd Opening theme for Naruto! Everytime I hear that song, it never fails to hype me up! I also really love the acoustic version of "True Light" from DNAngel. ^_^
 11. I watch Full Metal Alchemist!!! I haven't had the chance to watch episode 7 yet because of all the film papers that I've got to write, but thanks for the tearjerker warning ^_^ I'll be prepared with a box of tissues beside me! ^_^ From what I've seen so far, I don't see a connection with Full Metal Panic, but I could be wrong. The only reason it's called Full Metal Alchemist is because
the protagonist is an alchemist who has gone beyond the laws of alchemy to attempt in reviving his dead mother, but because this is forbidden, he's doomed living his life with a metal arm and leg, and his brother, who was his accomplice, was only able to survive through the project when his brother trapped his soul into a suit of metal armor.
Confused yet? LOL. My apologies if I didn't explain it very well, but it's a great anime, and well worth watching!!! ^_^
 12.
Originally posted by rttocs77 There is nothing wrong with being artsy :twitch:
I hope I didn't offend you! I'm honestly really sorry about my poor choice of words. I should have defined what I meant. I shouldn't have used "artsy," and instead should have explained my annoyance with the bunch of know-it-all, wannabe-movie-critics I've encountered in my film classes these past three years who act as if mainstream films are worse than death. I've gotten into huge debates with these types of people who think their opinions on film are much more valid because they know the local independant theatre inside and out, and I'm frankly sick of people who act so conceited when it comes film just because I have to face these people almost every single day. There is nothing wrong with being artsy, so long as one doesn't confuse artsy as synonymous with 'better.' I've just had a bad experience with these film snobs, but that's no excuse for my lack of consideration in grouping all film art fans into the 'film snob' category. I sincerely apologize!! Oh, and for my list Rashomon is tied with the Musashi Miyamoto: Samurai Trilogy films directed by Hiroshi Inagaki. How I could've forgotten my favorite classic samurai trilogy is beyond me!
 13. I'm probably biased because I'm such a Naruto-freak, but I love "Haruka Kanata" by Asian Kung-Fu Generation. The opening sequence that went along with it was awesome, too! ^_^ Also, "Freckles" from Rurouni Kenshin is really a catchy kinda song. It took a while to grown on me, but I absolutely love it now! Also "Duvet" by Boa, for Serial Experiements: Lain.
 14. OH goodness! Anime characters I would love to date...where do I even begin?? I honestly have a thing for brooding boys ^_^ Because I can't narrow it down to 5, I'm doing a list of ten puwahah! 1. Uchiha Sasuke from Naruto. His smirk is just plain cute XD and his Sharingan! OMG. Now...I can't wait for the anime to catch up and show his older brother Itachi. Ooo another dark, brooding boy. ^_^ 2. Shinomori Aoshi from Rurouni Kenshin. Tall, dark, brooding, and handsome o.0 3. Shannon Casull from Scrapped Princess. He's really aloof, but he has a big heart underneath that tough exterior. 4. Dark from DNAngel. I really like his cocky confidence LOL. He's just too cool ^_^ 5. Hatake Kakashi from Naruto. I think he's just too sexy with his mask xD Granted he maybe a bit of a pervert, but heh. 6. Hyuuga Neji from Naruto. Now, Neji's past is just full of angst. Though his Byukugan scares some people, I think it makes him look even more hot o.0 7. Yue from Cardcaptor Sakura. Another aloof sort of a guy-er...he's actually androgenous, right? But hey, I love the wings and cat-eyes LOL. 8. Lantis from Magic Knight Rayearth. XD I can't explain it ^_^ 9. Hiwatari Satoshi from DNAngel. He's really somewhat of an outsider, but he's really caring and has a sense of humor, too, when he alludes to a type of shounen ai relationship with Daisuke whenever girls catch them together in odd situations LOL. Gotta love him. 10. Nara Shikamaru from Naruto. He's lazy, but smart ^_^ And his bored expression is just too adorable LOL. Close runner-ups: Maiku (Onegai Twins), Ferio (Magic Knight Rayearth), Dr Jackal (The Get Backers), Midou Ban (The Get Backers), MakubeX (The Get Backers), Sagara Sanosuke (Rurouni Kenshin), Ashitaka (Princess Mononoke), Naruto (Naruto), and Sagara Sousuke (Full Metal Panic) Haha, this is all subject to change depending on my mood ^_^
 15. Here's my Top Ten! And I'm not gonna try to get all artsy on you all because I know how that can get annoying. I meet a lot of those types in all my film classes -_-' Anyway, this isn't a fixed list for me. This is all based on how I'm feeling right now ^_^ 1. Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring This has got to be my favorite film ever. I loved it a lot more than the 2nd installment, mainly because I loved the exposition and the development of the plot and characters. And because I really love the books, I'm a bit biased ^_^ I think almost everything LOTR-related is great ^_^ 2. Stargate I LOVE this movie! LOL. I love the idea of traveling around the universe using a Stargate! The costumes and headmasks of the Ancient Egyptian gods are incredibly cool. The TV-series is great, too! ^_^ 3. Spirited Away The animation in this is phenomonal, and the story itself is intriguing ^_^ 4. Memento I love the nonlinear, detective-like plot. It's really kind of freaky how memory can be messed with. *shudder* 5. Disney's Beauty and the Beast This is my favorite Disney movie of all time. I used to watch it everyday when I was little! ^_^ 6. Nights of Cabiria I was forced to watch this movie in a lower div film class, and I thought I was going to hate it, but I ended up loving it instead. 7. Rashomon Akira Kurosawa is a genius. Awesome film, and you gotta love Toshiro Mifune!! Okay, might as well just add Seven Samurai to this spot...and Ikiru as well. Kurosawa is my idol. He should be closer to the top of this list... 8. Amelie The colors in this film are amazing; this is a visual feast for your eyes, and the story is charming ^_^ 9. Sixteen Candles This film is downright hilarious!!! 10. Crybaby Johnny Depp. 'Nuff said. ^_^ I have so many favorites, but I guess those are my top ten right now. My opinions will probably change in an hour or so once I remember a few more movies I've seen LOL.
 16. I have a bunch of favorite love songs, so I'm not sure how to narrow it down...the few that come to mind right now are "First Love" by Utada Hikaru, "Missing You" by Fly to the Sky, and "More Than Words" by the Extremes (is it? I'm not sure). I also really love "Underneath It all" by No Doubt, "I Won't Spend Another Night Alone" by the Ataris, and loads of stuff by Mariah Carey ^^
 17. I actually spent time last night to watch a trilogy I had always wanted to see. The films are not recent as they were made in the 1950s, but they're still entertaining and engaging, and all-around wonderful to watch. Musashi Miyamoto: The Samurai Trilogy Directed by: Hiroshi Inagaki Starring: Toshiro Mifune (One of the greatest actors ever, IMHO) The trilogy, which is also known as the "Gone with the Wind" of Japan, follows a hot-headed young man, Takezo, who journeys far and wide to gain fame as an excellent samurai. Toshiro Mifune's portrayal of Takezo is excellent, and although Takezo is reminscent of Mifune's other characters in Rashomon and Seven Samurai, he grows into a multi-dimensional character as the trilogy progresses. The cinematography is exceptional, and the story pulls you in from the very start. Hiroshi Inagaki suceeds in creating period-films the way they're supposed to be made, and the trilogy is a testament to Toshiro Mifune's greatness. Overall: 9.5/10
 18. Here's my entry based on the anime DNAngel ^_^ Eep! ^_^
 19. Naruto never fails to make me laugh, which is why it's my favorite anime right now. Anyway, one of the funniest moments is in Episode 3 when
Naruto is staring down his rival Sasuke, because Sakura, his crush, really likes him, and then someone bumps Naruto from behind, forcing Naruto and Sasuke to kiss while all the Sasuke fans stare on in horror. Also, in the same episode, I couldn't stop laughing when Naruto transforms into Sasuke to get closer to Sakura, and when they're about to kiss, Naruto gets diaherria (sp?). OMG, it really came out of nowhere, and I couldn't stop laughing.
20. Like a ton of people, my favorite pairing ever is definitely Kenshin and Kaoru! It makes me giddy just thinking about the two of them ^_^ I also really like Sakura and Syaoran (CCS), but sometimes they're just too cute that it makes me sick. I also really love Ashitaka and San from Princess Mononoke and Chihiro and Kohaku from Spirited Away. Another favorite would be Daisuke and Riku from DNAngel, though I kinda liked the idea of Daisuke and Satoshi, too O.o Most of my favorite possible pairings come from Naruto. There are just wayyy too many good combinations: Sakura & Lee Sakura & Sasuke Naruto & Hinata ^_^ Shikamaru & Ino Naruto & Sakura Even...Sakura and Kakashi! (friends think I'm crazy xD) I'm not much of a shounen ai fan, but when it comes to Get Backers, I absolutely love it. I really love Jubei and Kazuki together! Oh! And Pacifica and Fulle from Scrapped Princess!!! *tears*
