[COLOR=Gray][SIZE=1]Dusk and the others packed themselves into two rental cars and drove over to Hearts Covenant. They parked a couple of blocks away, and decided that omly Dusk, Jinsei, Dracula, and LeStat would go in, and the other seven would wait outside. Suddenly Dusk had a thought. He turned to Kaze and Reya, the new girls. [B]"Would you two please find Zuriel and escort him here? And everyone else just keep an eye on the place and alert me when Zoku arrives."[/B] Dusk walked over to the club doors and strode in. He he quickly took a once over of the place, making sure that there were no other vampires around, may the be a part of Kuroichi's 'army'. He took a seat at a random table and waited. [I]Not here yet...[/I] Jinsei nervously wrung his hands as they waited for the hunters to arrive. Dusk looked over to his friend and knew he was thinking the same thing as him. That Tetsuya guy...none of the hunters was ordinary, but he...he was almost god-like. Dusk brushed aside his golden hair, realizing it was starting to get pretty long. A waiter came by and he ordered a drink, when he saw Tetsuya walk in. Dusk shivered slightly. Yukiko, Naoto, and Akio followed behind and Dusk motioned over to them. They walked over to the table and all took a seat. Dusk couldn't help but scowl slightly at the thought of Tetsuya's earlier comment towards him, but he knew to keep his cool. He would not want to make this man his enemy. Dusk began speaking to Tetsuya. [B]"Considering that you already seem to know everything that's going on, and what's at stake, I'm going to cut to the chase. We need your help to bring down Kuroichi. I know you must harbor a deep hatred for vampires, and would much rather kill one then join with them, but your friends here managed to get past that to form an alliance, even if it is only temporary. I'm kindly asking that you do the same and join us."[/B] Tetsuya just stared at Dusk, his cold glare practically piercing Dusk's flesh. It was as if he was gazing at his very soul. Suddenly Dusk's rang. He cursed and then picked up the phone. [I][B]"What?"[/B][/I] Dusk practically yelled into the phone. Disaster's voice came through. [I][B]"Sir, Zoku's approaching. And I just got a call from Kaze and Reya saying that they found Zuriel and are bringing him here right away."[/B][/I] [I][B]"Good. Thanks for informing me."[/B][/I] Dusk turned back to the hunters. [B]"Zoku should be joining us any second now, and I feel we should wait to continue this conversation untill when he gets in."[/B][/COLOR][/SIZE] [SIZE=1][B]OOC: Either kairiIce2 or JJRiddler can take it from here.[/B][/SIZE]

[COLOR=Gray][SIZE=1]Dusk lay in bed with his eyes open drearely. He longed to sleep, but he could not for some reason. Deep down he knew what the reason was, but at that moment he wanted to be at peace. He rose up and walked over to the fridge, grabbing himself a soda and a hlaf-eaten burger. While the burger microwaved, he drank his soda and fell deep into thought. The microwave timer went off and he took out is food to eat. He quickly shoved the burger down and finished his drink. He then took a seat on the couch and turned on the TV. Soon, without realizing it, he fell asleep. He was shrouded in darkness, kept far from the light. A voice kept whispering in his ear, mocking him, insulting him, punishing him. It spoke of his foolishness, his weakness, his inability to be of any use. Dusk couldn't find the voice, and eventually collapsed and gave into it's words. Suddenly the voice revealed itself. It was Kuroichi. He had his arm around Sumiyaka and he was smirking. Dusk, in his ragem summoned Twilight in the shape of a katana and sliced through the image of them. Then a call ripped through the darkness. [B]"Dusk?"[/B] Dusk awoke and quickly swung his blade. Jinsei jumped backwards and hit the wall. Dusk looked around. Everyone was prepared to fight, though they appeared reluctant. Dusk heaved a sigh. [I]Only a dream...[/I] A tear rolled down his face as he stood up, he was still shaken up from the dream. He sheathed his blade, then walked into his room. He came back out fully dressed and left without saying anything. [U][I][B]Later...[/B][/I][/U] Dusk removed his blade from the corpses chest. He bent over and began to mop up the blood, taking in it's savory taste. He had wandered around all day, not really knowing where he was going, he just wanted to be alone. After he decided he was satisfied he headed back. But he encountered a group of Kuroichi followers. He hadn't had the time to distinguish which clan they were from, as he made quick work of them and didn't take time to notice bodily details or style of battle. He wiped his mouth, and then on impulse, grabed his cell phone and began dialing Naoto's cell number. It rang a couple times and then a suprised Naoto picked up. [I][B]"He..Hello?"[/B][/I] Dusk was shocked to hear Naoto so unstable. He could hear someone else in the background, and it felt like a powerful aura was actually radiating through the phone. He heard someone yell something along the lines of "by your own hands" and then Dusk adressed Naoto. [I][B]"It's me, Dusk. What's going on? You sound...hmm...confused. Who else is there? Somebody powerful I would suppose. Correct?"[/B][/I] Naoto replied instantly. [I][B]"It..it's Tetsuya. He's killed off another one of us."[/B][/I] Dusk gasped. [I][B]"I'll be there right away, and I'm bringing the gang."[/B][/I] He hung up and dialed the hotel room. When Jinsei picked up, Dusk hurridley (sp?) told him to gather the others and head to the airport. Jinsei quickly told him that twom more of Zoku's creations had decided to join them. Dusk acknowledged that and then hung up. He rushed over to the airport as fast as he could.[/SIZE][/COLOR] [B][SIZE=1]OOC: Here's an image of the new girls. [COLOR=Gray][SIZE=1]Dusk grinned and gave the thumbs up to Jinsei and the others. They sighed with relief. The hunters were on their side, and that was a weight of their shoulders even if they didn't trust them completely. Dusk directed his attention back to the phone and responded to Naoto's question. [B][I]"As of now...I am unsure as to what action we should take. Zoku is in Japan, or so I believe. "[/I][/B] [I][B]"How can you be sure? Have you seen him?"[/B][/I]Naoto sounded slightly confused. Dusk hesitated, then responded. [I][B]"No...I can sense him...It's hard to explain. Right now I think we should just lay low and wait for all of the clans that have rallied to our aid."[/B][/I] [I][B]"Alright. Call us when we are needed. You know how to reach us."[/B][/I] [I][B]"Kay. Later."[/B][/I] Dusk hung up and turned to the group. He was about to begin talking when Dracula and LeStat strode into the room, accompanied by what appeared to be another of Zoku's creations. He introduced himself as Kairi and took a seat as well. Dusk informed Dracula and LeStat of what had occured recently. Then he once more adressed the group as a whole. [B]"The hunters are willing to make an alliance with us. I don't think they trust us completely...but It's a start. I wonder...what should we d---"[/B] One thought Suddenly filled his mind. [B][I]Sumiyaka?!?[/I][/B] He clutched the pendant around his neck and fell to his knees. He could feel her...she was sad. In pain. Then suddenly the pain was gone, as if it never happened. He turned back to the others, and they were all shocked. He quickly took leave and ran to his room. He fell into bed and held his pendant in both hands.He then stood up in rage. [B][I]Dammit...Grraaahhh! She had to go to him...making us enemies...why?[/I][/B] Dusk closed his eyes as tears streamed down his face. He struck the bed a couple times, then sank to the floor, misery full in his heart.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

Jinsei, Rift and Obstruct were sitting by the door, and Disaster and Griffin by the window. They waited anxiously to hear of which hunter they would be meeting first. Dusk walked over to his desk and pulled out a seat. [B]"I just got off the phone with Zoku. He's obviously arranged for us to meet with a hunter named Naoto, and he said that Naoto will probably bring along three others and a girl named Yukiko. We are to discuss current affairs and I am to propose an alliance against Kuroichi with them. We're meeting with them at a bar called 'Hearts Covenant'. Let's go." [/B] Dusk stood up and turned around, grabbing his coat. And his blade. Jinsei raised an eyebrow. [B]"Why take your blade along? Why not just summon it to your side if needed? Don't we want to come across as peaceful?"[/B] Dusk stared at his blade a moment, then threw his blade onto the bed. He grinned at Jinsei, then walked out of the door, his comrades folowing behind. They arrived soon at the bar, looking quite strange coming in as such a large group. Obstuct walked over to Dusk, confused. [B]"How will we know who they are? Are they marked?"[/B] Dusk laughed. [B]"Trust me. You will know. They are not ordinary humans by the sound of it."[/B] Dusk felt a great concentration of energy in the corner. He looked over and saw a group of tiugh looking humans. It even appeared that they were radiating auras. Dusk smiled and motioned over to them, then walked over casually. Taking a seat across from the one he believed to be Naoto, his grin faltered slightly as he took on a more serious tone. [B]"So you are the hunters?"[/B] The others were standing behind him now. The man nodded. [B]"My name is Naoto. She"[/B], he said pointing to his left at a very pissed woman, "[B]is Yukiko. Now what buisness do you have with us? We do not usually take presence with creatures."[/B] Dusk felt Jinsei get emotional behind him. That was the only thing that bugged Jinsei, being called a creature. Dusk adressed Naoto kindly, not wanting to make an enemy or lose what could be a potential ally. [B]" I've come here to propose an idea to you. It is your job, as hunters, to kill vampires. You no longer persue that 'carreer' choice, but I know that you have done battle with Kuroichi before. You have seen the pain he has caused.You know what he is capable of." "What I'm proposing is a temporary alliance. Join us and defeat Kuroichi, and then you can continue to hate and despise us if you still feel that way."[/B] Dusk sat in silence, awaiting an answer.[/COLOR][/SIZE] [SIZE=1][B]OOC: Sorry if I interpretted your characters incorrectly, JJRiddler. [COLOR=Gray][SIZE=1][B]"Dusk! Dusk! Wake up!"[/B] Jinsei shook Dusk fiercely. Dusk opened his eyes in shock and quickly glanced around the room. Dracula, LeStat and Jinsei were standing around him. He sighed, and then eased into his chair. Jinsei growled and hit Dusk over the head. [B]"Dammit! We were worried sick about you. While we were on the plane you just kinda blacked out, and we had to carry you to this hotel."[/B] Dusk couldn't comprehend. [B][I]A plane? When had we borded a plane?[/I][/B] He tried to recall, but his memory was hazy. All he could remember was being in the car, reminiscing about Beth...and that was all. He stood up and grasped his head. After a while he gave up trying to remember and looked for his bags. The others watched him curiously. He finally found his stuff and began going through it. Pulling out the paper Zoku had given to him, he walked over and grabbed his coat, preparing to leave. Jinsei ran over to him. [B]"What's wrong with you?! You were completely out of it for a couple of hours, then you grab a piece of paper and whisk out of the hotel room ny yourself?"[/B] Dusk turned and smiled at Jinsei. Jinsei cowered a little. Dusk leaned closer. [B]?Who said I was going alone??[/B] He grabbed Jinsei?s arm and dragged him through the door. After Dusk and Jinsei left, Dracula grabbed the phone and called the Myrkur Aniol. The phone just rang. He tried again. No response. He began to get worried. [B]?Hmm?Should we got to find Zuriel or go help Dusk? He has changed, and is now fueled by vengeance. He may do something reckless.?[/B] [B]?Do not fear, my liege. He will be fine. Jinsei is there to watch him. But at the moment, we have more important matters to attend to?Let?s go to the Myrukr Aniol base. And prepare to fight if we must??[/B] With that, they took their leave. Hand over some cash right now, else your gonna get two in the skull.?[/B] Dusk and Jinsei were surrounded by six humans, all obviously part of some street gang. They were only a few blocks away from the location, and couldn?t afford to stop now. The one standing in front of Dusk was holding a hangun up to him. Dusk merely walked past him, knocking him over. The man jumped up and shot Dusk in the heart. Dusk collapsed from shock, and the pendant around his neck came off. The man walked over and looked at it. [B]?What a nice charm you got there. Mus? mean a hella? of alot to ya?, iffin you were so unwilling to give it up. Maybe I should just break it. That would show you to mess with me.?[/B] He raised his foot and brought it down swiftly. Dusk?s hand shot out, and grabbed the man?s foot. Firmly holding him, Dusk threw the man into the wall, jumped up, and tore him in half. He licked up some of the blood and then spat. [B]?Filthy.?[/B] The other members began firing rapidly at Dusk. When that didn?t work they ran off in fright. Dusk scowled, picked up the pendant, and put it back around his neck, then strode off towards their destination. Jinsei grinned and ran up behind him. They reached the front door and Dusk knocked. Movement could be heard from inside, and soon someone was at the door. They called out before opening, however. [B]?Who?s there??[/B] A feminine voice called out. Dusk yelled in back response, saying they were friends of Zoku, and that they had proof. The door swung open, and there stood a tall woman with brown hair and gleaming red eyes, like Dusk?s. She was dressed oddly, but Dusk took no notice of that. She welcomed them in, and told them to take a seat. Dusk loked around as he sat. [I][B]An abandoned warehouse?how original[/B][/I]. He could hear movement in the rafters and he laughed. The woman looked at him strangely. [B]?After I give you proof that we were sent by Zoku will you tell your comrades to come down. They are quite skilled, I can tell from their grace, and I would very much like to meet them.?[/B] Dusk tossed her the papers and smiled. She looked them over and grinned. She signaled for her men to calm down, and they did. [B]?Sorry for all the suspicion. We just had to be sure. So you must e Dusk, and the kid over there is Jinsei. My name?s Disaster.?[/B] They all shook hands. Dusk raised an eyebrow, slightly confused. [B][I]She got screwed over when Zoku named her..[/I][/B] She told three of her comrades to step forward. The one at her right had brown hair as well, and a scar netween his eyes. The other two, who stood at her left, had red and blue hair, and dressed like assassins. [B]? Here to my right is Griffin. Red hair on my left is Rift, and blue hair is Obstruct.? [/B] Dusk couldn?t help but notice a common trait in all of them. Light skin, and fierce red eyes. Like him. [I][B]So much like me?[/B][/I] He shook it off. [B]?We are the ones who will be journeying with you. The rest?[/B], she pointed over at the other side of the warehouse, revealing a mass quantity of the creations, [B]?Will go to aid the Gwyar and Myrkur Aniol. And any others who rally to our cause against Kuroichi.?[/B] Dusk grinned. [B][I]Good?I like these four the most, anyway.[/I] He took out his cell and dialed Zoku's number. It rang twice and then Zoku's voice echoed into the phone. [I][B]"Hello?"[/B] [B]"It's me, Dusk."[/B] [B]"Ahh...Dusk. How are things?"[/B] [B]"Fine. We've finally contacted your creations. What should we do next?"[/B][/COLOR][/B][/I][/SIZE] [SIZE=1][B]OOC: In case you need any help Zuriel there's Dracula and LeStat to your aid. Hope I did what you wanted me to, Zoku. [COLOR=Gray][SIZE=1]Dusk put his cell phone in his pocket and walked back into Dracula's manor. Dracula, LeStat and Jinsei were standing there, waiting to hear the news. He informed them as to how the conversation went. LeStat frowned, apparently unhappy. [B]"Other matters to attend to? What's more important than gaining the Knubrap's allegaince and bringing Kuroichi to his knees?!"[/B] [B]"Whatever he has planned will undoubtedly help in one way or another. He wouldn't let us down."[/B] Dracula and Dusk both spoke at once, almost as if their minds had been interconnected momentarily. Dusk rushed his hair aside from his eyes and continued to speak. [B]"Anyway, he seems to have something in mind for us in Japan. He wants us to go to this this location"[/B], he showed them the map, [B]"and meet whoever it is that's there after we meet with Zuriel and the Myrkur Aniol. He said they were his creations."[/B] Dusk walked over to the coat rack and grabbed his overcoat. He turned around and grabbed his bags, the walked towards the door. [B]"Well?"[/B] Dracula and Jinsei grabbed their bags and followed behind. LeStat grabbed his stuff, scowling under his breath. They all walked to the car, and Dracula, Jinsei, and LeStat entered it. Dusk got in afterwards and grasped a something around his neck. Jinsei turned to hi, curious. [B]"What's that Dusk? I haven't seen you wear that before."[/B] Dusk smiled and his eyes began to water. He wiped away the tears quickly and smiled at Jinsei. Dracula's eyes saddened, for he knew the pain in Dusk's heart. Dusk began speaking. "When me and Sumiya--no. When me and Beth first became friends, we exchanged pendants, swearing that we would be friends for all of eternity...no matter what life threw at us..." He turned to stare out of the car window.[B] [I]Beth...I'll never give up hope. Someday...someday we'll be together again, and Kuroichi will no longer have this hold over you...or anyone else...[/I][/B] He scowled, clutching the pendant close to his heart.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

Both have transformed him drasitically and empowered greatly, but now he must learn to control his powers. [B]Powers:[/B] Dusk is unique in that he studies and controls one of the most abundant forces of energy that most vampires ignore or overlook, the elements. His extensive research of the four traditional elements-fire, water, wind, and earth- allows him to control the manmade element, steel, and the majestic elements, light and shadow. Recently he's discovered that the fire, darkness, and light energy that resides in him is much more powerfull and proficient then his other elements. He can create objects from the light and shadows. He also posses the ability to levitate and is has mastered using his chi. Before he could only focus it into his hands and launch small amounts at his opponents. Now he can summon large amounts at any given time. His last ability is a strong hold over others, mostly humans. He needs only to talk with them for a period of time or look them directly in their eyes and they?re at his beck and call. Doesn?t work to the same extent on vampires. [B]Personality:[/B] Dusk has almost nothing left in him of the other beings he once was. He's now unpredictable and potentially dangerous, but as an ally he's an unparalleled asset. He harbors a deep seeded hatred for Kuroichi, but cannot bring himself to hate Sumiyaka. [B]Bio:[/B] After arriving in Sydney he soon started his search for Sumiyaka. Though at first it was uneventful and fruitless, he eventually ran into his old acquaintance, Zoku. Zoku, once again pledging loyalty to Kuroichi, tried to convince Dusk to become evil and join Kuroichi. Dusk, unsure of what to do, continued his search for his friend, and finally made headway. However, when he found her she was in the arms of Kuroichi, and in his confusion he agreed to join Kuroichi. Shortly afterwards he encountered Dracula and Zuriel, challenging them to battle. It was then that he was overcome with his final transformation, becoming the being he is now. As he was ready to finish his opponents, Zoku stopped him and proposed that they turn against Kuroichi and keep his from having his way. He also proposed to help Dusk bring his new powers under control. Now, with new power and a new blade provided by his enemy, Dusk is ready to take down Kuroichi no matter what the cost. Even if he must confront Beth... [B]Other:[/B] At times it can appear that he is cold, heartless, and sarcastic, but he's really considerate at heart. He views this as a weakness of sorts, however. Also, he took the title of Dusk, the Phoenix when Kuroichi adressed him as the phoenix when he sent his gift. He only, however, uses this title in battle.[/COLOR][/SIZE]

[COLOR=DarkSlateGray][SIZE=1]Dusk and Jinsei bounded through the night air, feelings of power and control surging through Dusk. He stopped abruptly and fell deep into thought, pondering what he and Jinsei should do next. Jinsei walked beside him, his voice bathed in confusion. [B]"What's wrong So--Dusk? Why did we stop?"[/B] Dusk gave no respone and continued to stare into oblivion. Jinsei began to grow frightened and prepared himself to have to do battle. [B][I]Maybe Dusk isn't in control yet[/I][/B], he thought sullenly. Dusk raised his head and walked over to a bench taking a seat. He motioned over to Jinsei, then put his hands together and rested his chin on them. Jinsei sat down next to Dusk, ashamed he had lost faith in his friend so quickly. They sat in silece for a few minutes, Dusk sliding deeper and deeper into thought. Dusk then turned to Jinsei, ready to express his dilema. [B]"Since we're once again members of the Gwayr...do we head back to Dracula's manor and strategize a plan of action, or do we stay here and assist Zuriel? I'm just not su--" "How bout we do both?"[/B] A figure emerged from the shadows, striding swiftly towards them. Dracula's smile expanded the length of his face, he was happy to see that Dusk was under control. Dusk and Jinsei stood up and bowed, though Dusk could not help but feel that no amount of affection could bring them closer once more. Like Sumiyaka... [B]"I had decided that I should go find Zuriel, then recommend that our two clans meet and form one central HQ, when I run into you, debating what to do next. Will you not accompany me?"[/B] Dusk smiled and nodded. He had been afraid that Dracula no longer regarded him as an ally, but that was not the case. The trio fled into the night, in search of their accomplice, Zuriel. They found him strutting into the city, a new weapon on his back. After quickly explaining the events of the evening they were horrified to recieve new that the Zugai had joined Kuroichi and of Kuroichi's transformation. The only news that seemed to be of any good-nature was Zuriels new blade, the Night-Blade Harbringer, which would undoubtedly prove an asset. They spoke for a while, then the four made arrangements to have their clans meet and to return home. Tonight they had lost more to Kuroichi's cause, but the war, especially in Dusk's mind, was far from over.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkRed][SIZE=1]Hmmm...I thought of a move that my character could have, one regardless of class as I mentioned before. [U][B][I]Nami no Sono Aoi Getsui (Wave of the Blue Moon)[/I][/B][/U]- Zeth emits a bluish/silver aura, and the symbol of the moon shines brightly on the backs of his hands and his forehead (after performing the move for the first time those marks stay apparent on his flesh). He then acquires great physical speed and strength and launches a flurry of attacks at the opponent. Ex's: [B]When weilding a blade-[/B] Zeth's blade glows and he moves at such a high speed that it apears that there are more the one of him attacking at once. [B]When weilding a bow-[/B] Zeth's bow glows and he jumps from spot t spot very swiftly, firing a barrage of arrows every time he lands. I also had another idea (sorry if I'm being a bother). Since we are the Crystal Questers and all...maybe we could all have a [I]job class[/I] unique to us. Like, since Dyna is Dyna the Dragon Tamer, she could become a Dragoneer. Like a mixture between a Dragon and a Dragoon, so you'd have abilities form both. Oh. and I didn't quite like the digs my character was wearing, so, if it's alright with amgoddess, I'd like to changehis outfit. Something like a sleevless vest with a long-sleeved, baggy white shirt underneath and baggy black pants. He still has the bandanna, but also has wristbands with the symbol of the moon on them. Add since I gave my cloak to Dyna in my recent post, I just won't get it back or something. ^__^ I'm really enjoying this RPG, so I'm just brimming with ideas *grins*. ^__^[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[SIZE=1][COLOR=Blue]The Crystal Questers walked cautiously around the town, each on alert for danger. They had only walked a short while, when suddenly there was a great surge of energy. The next that they new they were in a freezing cold tundra, and were being assaulted by a snowstorm. Zeth was shocked. [B]"How th..th..the hell did that happen?! H..ho..how did we end up out h..hee..here?"[/B] He clutched his body, weak from the cold. The others, too, were falling to the weather, even Sakura, who normally loved the cold. Shinji attempted a Firaga, but the cold air wiped it out. Zeth looked over at Dyna and could see that she was close to freezing to death, and he was not going to allow that. He rushed over to her and wrapped his cloack around her. He drew his sword and walked around, looking for shelter. Suprisingly, the tundra dissapeared for a second, leaving them in Muscadet, and then reappeared around them. Zeth figured it out. [B]"It's an illusion! Concentrate and we'll be able to escape!!"[/B] They all concentrated and the illusion faded. But when Zeth opened his eyes, the others weren't around. Only a Nu Mou stood there, grinning mockingly. Zeth growled. [B]"Where are my friends!? Answer me! Grrr...."[/B] The Nu Mou didn't respond, so Zeth drew his blade and lunged at him. The Nu Mou jumped backwards, avoiding the stab. It laughed. [B]"Hmm...such impatience. Time to put you in your place."[/B] The Nu Mou grew taller and more ferocious. It grew wings, claws, and a horn, untill it had become a dragon. [COLOR=Red][B]"NOW...DIE!!"[/B][/COLOR] It reared it's head back and emited a wave of flames at him. Zeth roled behind a building as the flames licked the street. He gripped his blade tightly. [B]"This doesn't look good. Hope the others are alright..."[/B][/COLOR] [B]OOC: Good? One-on-one battles are always fun...Sorry it's short, though.[/SIZE][/B]

It's appearance just varies depending upon what weapon we weild? Just an idea.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkRed][SIZE=1]Sole heard movement from inside and braced himself. The door swung open and there stood a silver-haired vampire, his energy almost visible. Sole had never seen this being before, but he knew who it was. It was Kuroichi. Sole shivered slightly, overwhelmed. He could sense Jinsei's nervousness also. Kuroichi held out his hand and smiled. [B]"Ah, so you must be Sole. A pleasure."[/B] Sole held his hand out hesitatingly, not sure of what to expect. Would Kuroichi attack him, or was he really trying to welcome him. Kuroichi merely shook his hand, allowing Sole to get a glimpse of his strength. [I]Some handshake...[/I] Kuroichi gestured to the inside of the house and Sole and Jinsei walked in.Sole got a strong sense of Zoku's aura, but could tell the behemoth was no longer present. Sole took a seat and motioned fo Jinsei to do the same, the directed his attention to Kuroichi. [B]"Sorry that I must get straight to buisness. Up until now you were my enemy...but now I would like to propose an idea. My accomplice and I would like to--"[/B] Sole was cut off by a figure entering the room. [B]"Is Zoku gone, Kuroi--"[/B] Sole almost fell out of his chair when he saw who it was. It was Beth...Sumiyaka. Sumiyaka looked at him and instantly knew who it was, though she had not seen him before like this. She smiled at Sole and hugged him, then walked to Kuroichi's side. [B]"So...you've decided to join us."[/B] Sumiyaka spoke gently, almsot as if she was happy that Sole was joining them. Sole couldn't tell anymore. He was speechless. He had come looking for her, only to find she now belonged to Kuroichi. His heart was torn, but at least one thing had been decided. She's with Kuroichi...meaning I no longer have to worry about her being my enemy. Now to do what I came here to do...He looked up at Kuroichi and Sumiyaka. [B]"I want to join the Krilat Zmaj. There is no longer need for me to follow the Gwayr. They are weak fools who will fall to your might."[/B] Kuroichi stared at him, unsure of what to think. Sole grinned. [B]"Allow us to be your allies, and our strength is at your disposal...as our the energies of the Skull Sapphire and Death Diamond. However, if you don't mind, I'd like to hold on to the gems."[/B] Sumiyaka whispered something into Kuroichi's ear and he nodded. Kuroichi the tirned back to Sole. [B]"Seeing as how another of my newest allies appears to trust you...I will allow you into the clan. But do not think of treachery, for I will kill you myself if you attempt tp betray me."[/B] Sole laughed and sttod up, walking towards the door. Jinsei followd behind. Sole turned back to his new master. [B]"Tonight I will attempt to reason with Dracula and Zuriel, to bring them to your side. If not..a battle full of bloodshed will ensue. And next time you see me...I may not be the same..."[/B] Sole smiled at Sumiyaka,[B] "It was great to see you Sumiyaka. I'm glad you're doing well. Farewell.[/B]" A couple of minutes later... Sole and Jinsei walked into an illumimated park and approache two figure standing in the darkness. The figures stood, revealing themselves to be Dracula and Zuriel. The four began talking, and Dracula and Zuriel became dismayed. [B]"Join Kuroichi!!"[/B] Dracula shouted in rage, [B]"Never. I would rather be ripped apart limb by limb than join that demon."[/B] Zuriel nodded in agreement. [B]"He's a monster, unworthy of our alliance. He deserves nothing but death!"[/B] Dracula nodded. [B]"I'm extremely dissapointed that you would join hi---"[/B] Sole punched Dracula in the face. Jinsei gasped as Dracula flew into a wall. Zuriel ran to his side. [B]"Always telling me what to do....Always scolding me...well no more..prepare for the true, the final entity that is I!!!" [/B] Suddenly Sole was back in that empty space, once again confronted by that powerful figure. It held out it's hand. [B]"Ready?"[/B] Sole nodded and laughed. [B]"I can't wait to see the true me..."[/B] Sole and the figure walked into each other and merged. A bright light engulfed Sole, blinding Jinsei, Zuriel, and Dracula. After the light faded, there stood a new figure. He had blonde hair with black at the ends. He was wearing a silver and black jacket with a long-sleeved white shirt underneath. His long, baggy black pants covered his sneakers and his googles morphed into shades. The figure grinned, piercing them with his silver eyes. [B]"Well...this is more than I could have ever hoped for. Such darkness...Such light...Such...POWER!! Meet Dusk!!"[/B] He grinned and assumed a battle stance, but noe before sending a telepathic link to Zoku, telling him to come and enjoy the bloodshed. Zoku was there instantaneously. Dusk smilled. [B]"Prepare to die..."[/B][/SIZE][/COLOR] [B][SIZE=1]OOC: Last change, I promise. Just wanted to spice up the story some more. He had been having trouble staying asleep, though by all means he should have been exhausted considering the day's events had drained him. He stood up, got dressed and walked out into the hallway. He observed the beautiful castle, amazed by it's splendor. [B]"This is great...Nowhere like this in [I]our[/I] Ivalice. Hmmm...and quite the unusual people. Reina, Zedekiah, Ophelia, and Zeroun all give off an air of majesticness. But...can we really harness the power of these Crystals?"[/B] He sat in silence, doubting his abilities. He pulled the All-Mighty law card out of his pocket and twirled it in his fingers. [B]"Wonder how these laws work. Though I have to admit, the sound of engaging others in battle sounds exhilirating..."[/B] [B]"They can be quite amusing."[/B] Zeth unsheathed his blade and spun to face the voice. Judgemaster Zedekiah was stroling towards him. Zeth sighed in relief and sheathed his blade. [B]"Judgemaster...It's only you..."[/B] The Judgemaster walked next to him and sat down, motioning for Zeth to do the same. [B]"It seems that our warriors are restless tonight. Not but a couple of minutes ago I spoke with Joseph, Servant of the Sacred Fire. And now I'm graced with the presence of Zeth of the Blue Moon."[/B] Zeth laughed. He had absentmindely given himself that name...but it felt like it was destined for him nonetheless. [B]"Judgemaster...Do you really believe that we can complete this task weighed upon us? What if we fail?"[/B] The Judgemaster sighed and stood up and began walking away. He stopped and tilted his head slightly to talk with Zeth. [B]"Though doubt may rest in your heart, do not fret. For in mine their is no doubt, only unbridled faith that you will prevail."[/B] Zeth grinned as Zedekiah walked off. Zeth stood up and walked out to the garden, spotting Joseph. [B]"Hey! I should talk with Dyna...[/I][/B] He walked back to the group, smiling. [B]"This ain't too bad, eh? Gotta admit though, the clothes are slightly different from what I'd pick to wear in public."[/B] The others laughed. He looked back to the inn they had walked from and noticed that underneath the 'Inn' sign, there was a sign with a sword on it. [B][I]Weapon shop...[/I][/B] He spun around to face the group again. [B]"I'm gonna go back to the In for a sec, 'kay? Don't worry I'll be right back."[/B] He sprinted off twoards the Inn and flung the doors open sharply, accidentallly hitting a Bangaa in the face. The Bangaa got up angrily and pushed Shuuichi down. The Bangaa pulled out his blade and put it to Shuuichi's throat. [B]"How dare you knock me down! Does a low life like you have a name? OR do they name scum?"[/B] the Bangaa behind him laughed loudly. Shuuichi's eyes scanned the room nervously, looking for a way to get out. His eyes stopped on a bandanna that had a blue moon with white light behind it. He rolled over, jumped up, grabbed the bandanna, and put it on. [B]"My name!? Hmph...my name is Zeth of the Blue Moon. And you should be apologizing to me for getting in my way." [/B] Zeth grinned, pleased with his response. The Bangaa growled and raised his blade again, but decided against his action and put his blade into his sheath. [B]"You live...for today. If we weren't in the city..."[/B] The Bangaa growled and shoved by Zeth. The bartender whistled as they walked out. He then adressed Zeth. [B]"New aroun' 'ere and a'ready startin' trouble? What something to drink?"[/B] Zeth walked over and took a seat. [B]"Yah...uh...Orange Juice, I guess. How did you know we were new to these parts?"[/B] The bartender placed a mug of orange juice in front of him and grinned. He then turned around and began looking for somethin. [B]"Innkeeper tol' me. But on t' more pressing matters...Ah! 'Ere it is!"[/B] The Bartender turned around and smiled. He was holding a sword and it's sheath out in front of him. Zeth almost spit out his drink in suprise. The Bartender chuckled. [B]" 'Ere ya' go. Yer not gonna' get anywhere 'round 'ere if ya' don't got a weapon. 'Sider ita gift between new friends." [/B] Zeth grinned happily, feeling like he wanted to hug the man. He grabbed the blade and swung it around a couple times. He slid it into it's sheath and put it at his side. He turned to walk away, the spun around. [B]"I almost forgot to thank you and ask you what your name is. Man I feel stupid! And how am I gonna pay you for this?!"[/B] The Bartender shook his head, bemused at Zeth's nervousness. [B]"Don' worry yerself. T'ain't nothin'. And my name's Linyll. Come round every once 'n a while t' talk wi' me and we call it even, 'kay?"[/B] Zeth drank off the rest of his drink and nodded. [B]"You bet! Later, Linyll."[/B] Zeth ran outside and joined the others. Dyna was the first to take notice of his blade and bandanna. [B]"Hey where'd you get the sword and bandanna, Shuuichi?"[/B] Zeth laughed, amused that she had called him Shuuichi. He folded his arms across his chest and grinned. [B]"I got it at the Inn. He took another sip of it and walked a little slower, trying to enjoy the scenery. He too a quick glance at his watch and then looked again. [B]"Crap!!"[/B] He bolted off for school in a mad frenzy, hoping he wouldn't arrive late. He stopped at a crosswalk a couple blocks away from the school and shoved the thermus into his pocket. He waited patiently for the light to flash green then dashed across the cross-walk and almos slid right by the entrance to school. [B]"Made it..."[/B] He ran to his locker threw his jacket in along with his thermus, grabbed his books and walked to his first class, ni linger worried about being punctual. [B][U][I]First Break....[/I][/U][/B] Shuuichi yawned as he walked out of the classroom. He walked over to his locker and grabbed his jacket and tea. He laughed when he took a sip. [B]"Wow! Still warm..." [/B] He smilled and hummed to himself as he began to wander aimlessly. The next thing he knew, he had wandered in front of the library. He stopped. [B]"Hmmm.....Dyna's probably in there...she has that assignment she has to work on. Guess I'll go look."[/B] He puched through the door and looked around. To defeat him in honor of the Gwyar? No. No, he wasn't here to defeat him. He had only used that as an excuse. He had just wanted to leave, there was no longer need for him in the Gwyar clan. He just wanted to be with those he cared for. Jinsei and Beth...or Sumiyaka as she now went by. Sole looked at Zoku, who was patiently waiting for an answer. Sole smiled at him. He had his answer. [B]"I'll embrace the darkness that dwells within me and the stone...and then I'll confront Kuroichi. And if he is the answer to the clan's problems as you say, I---we will join you. But I must also consult Sumiyaka, for If joining you means going against her I do not know if I can. So for the moment...consider me an ally."[/B] Zoku grinned at Sole's response. [B]"Hmmm....I suppose I wasn't misguided in giving you those gems. You'll make a fine asset in our plans. If you want to confront Kuroichi consider coming with me to meet with him tommorow night. You and your apprentice." [/B] Sole nodded. Zoku stood up and grasped Sole's shoulder. [B]"I trust you, don't disappoint me. I hope to see you tommorow night with favorable news."[/B] With that he departed, leaving a confused Jinsei and a contemplative Sole. Jinsei turned to him, trying to make sense of what just happened. [B]"Embrace the darkness? And why... why are we joining them? Are we just going to submit to Kuroichi that easily?"[/B] Sole sighed and put his head in his hands. After a couple of seconds he looked back up at Jinsei and grinned. [B]"What..you don't trust me? Look, Zoku may not look at things in the same perspective as us, but he did give us the gems, so he deserves to be listened to. Besides, I'm interested in the darkness. Zoku says it flows within me and I know he's right. And who knows, maybe Kuroichi can bring peace...wouldn't it be worth it? Hmm.....tommorow we're going to find Sumiyaka. Maybe she'll be able to help." [/B] [B]"Hmm... sorry, I trust you...but I'm a bit skeptical as to the "peace" he would bring."[/B] Sole shrugged and walked over to his friend. [COLOR=DarkRed][SIZE=1]Sole and Jinsei quickly unloaded their luggage from the boat and rushed into town, checking into a hotel quickly. After Sole payed for the room and brought his luggage up, he told Jinsei to unpack and wait for him to return. Jinsei was confused. [B]"Where are you going? Oh, it doesn't matter, forget it. I'll just watch TV here or somethin'..." [/B] Sole grinned and spun around, swiftly walking from the room. He sped down the stairs and out of the building, into the night air. Sole moved around, aware of every movement, every person around him. He breathed in the chilly air eagerly. There was something going down tonight. At least one thing, anyway. He took anoher couple of steps, then froze in his tracks. A familiar scent passed by him, but there was something wrong with it, to some extent. It was...changed, more powerful, bloodthirsty. Sole realized who it was and raced off in the direction it came from. [B][I]Zoku.....What's happened to you?[/I][/B] He ran carelessly and rammed someone full on, knocking himself over. He grabbed his head in pain and looked up, meaning to apologize, and froze in shock. A giant figure was towering over him, long black hair flowing, and red eyes piercing Sole's very soul. Sole remaines speechless. Zoku took a once over and grinned. [B]"Look's as if you've changed to, Kyu. Hmmmm....or should I say, Sole?"[/B] He opened his mouth to say something then closed it quickly, shifting his eyes slightly. He helped Sole back up and smiled. "So, I'm guessing you're in a hotel, correct? Let's get there quickly so we can talk. It's safer there." They arrived back shortly, but Sole was still speechless with shock. He couldn't believe the hulking mass next to him was the Zoku he knew. Hethrew open the door to his room and sat down quickly. Jinsei walked out of the other room to see what was up. [B]" 'Ey Sole. You're back so---".[/B] He looked at Zoku and grinned, nervously. He held up the peace symbol. [B]"Hello."[/B] Sole regained his senses and adressed Zoku.
