[COLOR=Blue][SIZE=1]Lance ignored her comment and got closer to her,"Come on. Let me help." She angrily pushed him backwards and walked off,"Leave me alone Lance..." Lance watched her lay down and then he turned around and walked off towards Elena and Zeos who were about to fall asleep. Zeos looked up, then grinned mockingly,"How's you girlfriend?" Lance shot him a dirty look then started speaking to Elena,"Elena you seem nice enough, so tell me. Why do you think Imi won't let me get close to her? The only time I felt close to her is when she slept next to me. I just don't understand her. You think I have something to do with it?" As Elena was about to speak, Zeos cut in." Of course it's you, dipshit. You try way to hard." Zeos rolled over onto his side, facing away from Lance. Lance looked at Zeos and nodded sadly,"You're probably right. I just want her to like me." Zeos laughed suddenly, causing Lance and Elena to look at him. He rolled back overand looked straight at Lance,"You took what I said seriously? Lance....she's just to iscolated. Leave her be. Maybe by the end of this adventure she'll have warmed up to you..." Elena nodded in agreement with Zeos. Lance stated to takeinto consideration what Zeos said, when Elena spoke up,"Get some sleep Lance. Don't worry yourself to death." With that she rolled over also. Lance got up and layed back down in his spot. He soon fell asleep, pondering over what Elena and Zeos said. He woke up to find that Imi and him were the only two awake. He walked over to her and sat down. "You...alright now?" She looked at him with friendship in her eyes for a moment, than she glared and looked away,"Yah, fine". Lance grinned and walked off. [COLOR=Orange]Lance opened his eyes just in time to watch Dorumon about to be tossed upon him. "Ahhh!!" He rolled out of the way quickly. Dorumon landed on it's feet next to him panting. Lance was suprised to see that he was in the desert. "What's wrong?!?How did we get here?" Lance looked at the tired Dorumon. Dorumon looked over at him and struggled to speak,"S...som...something happened at Witchmon's hut....and we ended up here." Dorumon suddenly began growling. Lance looked in the direction Dorumon was looking and opened his mouth in amazement. Dorumon continued speaking,"You were unconcious for a while, so I decided to look around. I took a couple steps, than this pack of Allomon jumped out from nowhere trying to attack us." The Allomon slowly drew closer. Lance was confused,"So wait a sec... you tried to fight them [I]all[/I] off by yourself?! Are you crazy?!?" Dorumon smiled,"I had to protect you..." Lance grabbed Dorumon's paw and ran backwards, dragging Dorumon along. [I]He risked his life for me...[/I]he said in his head as tears trickled down his face. "Where are we going?" Dorumon was unsure of his partners action. lance wiped the tears from his eyes and replied,"You protected me. Now I'm protecting you the way I see fit. that's running and leting you heal." After a while of running they saw a giant boluder. They lsat down to rest behind the boulder. Lance smiled,"Thanks buddy. I owe you one for what you---" He was cut off as an Allomon jumped over the boulder. The others ran around in front of them, surronding them. Lance and Dormon both stood up. Lance felt something odd come over him and he grabbed his digivice,"Don't worry Dorumon. I'm here to help this time." Dorumon was suddenly overcome with a odd feeling as well,"I know..." Dorumon felt empowered all of a sudden and yelled out,"Dorumon digivolve to....DeaxDorugamon." He was suddenly larger and his voice got deeper. He was also covered in metal. Lance was shocked,"Wow....Dorumon..." The transformed Dorumon looked at him,"Now I'm DeaxDorugamon." He turned around and sent a volley of energy at his enemies,"METAL CAST!!" He blasted the Allomon away, one by one. As soon as they were all gone, Lance ran over and hugged DeaxDorugamon,"You're the greatest buddy.." As he stopped hugging DeaxDorugamon he noticed a difference. He was no longer in the desert. He was back in Witchmon's hut and the Demi-Veemon were standing in fornt of them with a box."Here", one said and gave him the box. He opened it and saw a fiery red necklace with a dragon's head on it. The mouth was open and it seemed like something went there. "What the.." but before he could ask anything, he saw the others glare at him. "Heh, heh", was all he could manage to say.[/COLOR]

The two warriors stood side by side, weapon in hand, glaring at the beast. "Enough of this crap!", Lance yelled. Reis followed up,"Time to end this!" Reis griped his blade and yelled while running towards the enemy. He started slashing at the creature and tore into it."I'll weaken it!",Reis called out while still slashing brutally at the beast,"You just worry about finishing it off!" Lance grinned,"Will do!" [I]But how??[/I]He wasn't about to waist any time thinking, though. He needed something now. [I]Fine,[/I] he said to himself, [I]I'll just have to annihalate the enemy some how[/I]. [I]Ummm...how about..[/I].it suddenly came to him. He looked over at Reis and the enemy. The enemy could barely keep conciousness. Lance closed his eyes and concentrated. Reis finnaly landed a hit that ripped apart a peice of the Upamon. It reared in pain and the E-Virus flew out. Reis looked over at Lance,"Do it now!!" Lance opened his eyes and grinned. He lifted his dagger up,yelled,and chucked his blade at the E-Virus. "No!!",the Upamon yelled in rage. The orb burst into data. Lance held out his daggers, which transformed back into a digivice, and absorbed the data. After it had finished Reis and him collapsed. "Phew...I'm glad that's over...",Reis smiled weakly. Lance drew back the string of his bow and launched an arrow at his brother, while rding on the back of his pet wolf, Fubar. His brother caught the arrow easily and snapped it in half. Lance put away his bow, jumped of Fubar, and drew his blade. "Good luck, bro!" Lance jumped at his brother and quickly slashed at him. His brother easily defended his attack and struck back. Lance was sent flying backwards into a tree. "Ohhh...." Lance held his head," Damn....That hurt!!" His brother just looked at him, then threw him a peice of paper,"This was on our door. It says to go to the Fountain of Control. Hurry up." He turned around and walked off. By the time Lance had the stength to get home, his bother was waiting for him out front with a small bag."Here's you stuff, leave." Lance became sarcastic,"Damn. He spun around to face the transformed Upamon,"How do we defeat it?" Lance was about to answer when he suddenly had a weird feeling. He reached into his pocket and pulled his digivice out. Suddenly it turned black and a large symbol was floating before him. [I]Just like before....[/I]he thought to himself. He held the digivice over his head and yelled,"CREST WEAPON ACTIVATE!" Everything came back into focus again. He looked down and saw his daggers. He grinned and was about to tell Reis to do what he did, but Reis was already holding his blade. Reis looked over at him,"Ready to kick some Puppet Master ***?" Lance nodded and in unison with Reis, lunged at the creature. They both got a good slash in, but the creature wasn't phased. Lance twirled around with his daggers, repeatedly striking the monster, but it seemed to take no pain. Reis took this as his chance,"Allow me!" He jumped into the air and struck down on the monsters head. The monster rolled it's eyes and fired a large beam at Lance, knocking him backwards. As Lance tried to push the pain aside, he thought he heard Imi screaming. [I]No!!! I have to help her, but how? Me and Reis are just gonna have to beat this digimon. If anything hapens to her...[/I] Reis yelled at Lance,"Damn it Lance, wake up!!" Lance stirred to attention and saw that Reis was struggling with the corrupted digimon. Lance stood up and ran towards Reis and his advesary. [I]It's now or never[/I], he thought to himself. Lance was plagued by odd visions in his dreams. He tried to understand it, but all of it was to jumbled up in his brain. Suddenly he stirred, and began to regain conciousness. he sat up and stretched,"*yawn* When did I fall asleep? All I remember is that I was walking down the road--" he stopped aruptly. He had just begon to notice the enviorment around him. He stood up in suprise and looked around. He put his hand in his pocket and felt something heavy. He suddenly rmembered all of what happened. "That light that fell into my pocket...Now it's this?" He threw the digivice up in the air and caught it,"Hmph... well i wonder what to do know?" Out from behind a tree sprund a dragon type creature. Then from all sides he was surronded by smaller creatures. "What's this..." he walked towards the dragon like thing,"Um what are you?"The dragon thing looked up and smiled,"Hiya, my name's Dorumon,and I'm a digimon. And those little things are Demi-Veemon. I'm their protector, and your partner. Nice to meet you." Lance looked at the digimon for a second, then grinned,"My partner, eh? Hey wait a second', he remembered something,"You're the thing I saw on T.V! Cool...Anyway, could you explain some things to me? Like where I am and what this electroni thing is?". The digimon smiled at him," You're in the Digital World. That's where all the digimon live. You where brought here byWitchmon. And the mechanical thing is a digivice. But I think Witchmon can explain it better." he motioned to theleft,"She lives over there. You can ride on my back if you'd like." His heart and mind were still racing after the encounter with the "Puppet Master". He said something to the two next to him, and w to whatever was in the ditch. The two humans next to him turned around and smiled. The three walked over to him, and then two more people jumped out of the ditch behind them. All of them stopped right in front of Lance. Lance observed them all, but one of them caught his eye "Hello." Lance said to the odd group in front of him,."Can I ask you all something? Since you all look human, do you all have odd mechanical objects with funny symbols in them? And if so, did they change into weapons?" The one in front answered. " Yah, that happened to all of us. The funny symbols are called crests. But first let me introduce everyone. My name's Zeos Uchiyama and I have the crest of Courage," he turned around and adressed the rest of the group,"That's Elena with the crest of Light,Takuto with the crest of Hope, Kenmei with the crest of Love, and she's Imi with the crest of*hem,hem*friendship." Lance looked over at Imi and winked. She shot a dirty look at him. He just smiled,"My name's Lance. I have the crest of...um...", suddenly it came to him,"of Reliability. Tauro continued looking aroung in awe, and didn't hear his caravan start going off. Dwam yelled angrily at Tauro,"Hurry up!! We're not waitin for you!!" Tauro snapped to attention and looked around frantically. He saw the group further along the path."Don't leave me!", he yelled, panicked. He ran in their direction and put his hand on his blade. [I]Just in case,[/I] he thought to himself. He caught up with the group in no time at all. Angry glances cam from all around. Tauro grinned nervously. The group kept walking, and Tauro slipped over by Fayt. He tapped him on the shoulder,"Sorry about dozing off. I was just so suprised by the size..." Fayt nodded and replied,"No prob. Just don't do it again." Taoru glanced around and continued talking with Fayt,"Do you think there's any caves that contain myrrh around here?" Fayt looked down for a second then looked back up at Tauro,"I don't know... we can only hope so..." Tauro stared at Fayt then went off to walk by himself and think. They soon stopped in front of a cave. Tauro grinned at the rest of the caravan,"So... what do we do now?" He was met again by angry stares. He held his hands up in defense,"Just asking...."

Better get a start on this.[/I] He traveled off towards the south, hoping that geting the Evolution orb would be as easy as it seems. No matter, he thought to himself, anything that gets in my way will get burned. He laughed at his joke and walked off in a good mood. He stopped walking after a while and set up camp. He started a fire, then went off hunting for his dinner. He went to sleep that night still thinking of the journey ahead of him, and what powers he may acquire. He had a weird dream that night. He dreamed of the Flaming Volcano of Niro. He looked around and saw a temple floating over the volcano. A powerful force was being emitted from the shrine. He began to walk in, but woke up right before entering. "So that's where it is... Awesome!" He jumped up with new inspiration, "Ultimate power, here I come!!" He arrived at the fiery land around the volcano in no time at all. He looked over at the volcano and frowned. The temple that had appeared in his dream had dissapeared. Suddenly a large beast appeared and lunged at him."Crap", he yelled angrily. [I]That beast must be guarding the temple...I bet if I beat it I'll gain access!![/I] he thought to himself. He pulled out his daggers and charged them with flames. "It's go time....", he muttered under his breath. He dashed at the beast and it knocked him back with a ferocious force. Proto growled and looked at his advesary."Damn...this beast is strong. This is gettin' intresting.." He jumped up and smiled," You know who I am?" The beast looked confused and nodded his head no. [SIZE=1]Lance burst through the door into his house, breathing heavy and grinning stupidly. He walked over to his mom and kissed her on the cheek. His mom smiled,"What's got you all riled up? And why are you breathing so heavy? You really should lie down, you appear to be exhausted." Lance grinned at his mother," It's the [I]summer[/I]. Who cares if I'm exhausted, I've got all rights to be." He walked over to the fridge and grabbed an open bottle of Coke from the fridge,"If you must know, I just had an awesome game of soccer. We beat the other team by...."he took a second to figure it out, "well I forgot, but it was by alot." He picked up the soda and took a drink from it. When he put it back down he realized how quite the house was and became confused. "Where's the tot lot? Did you take 'em over to babies'R'us and leave 'em there?" He chuckled at his joke. His mom frowned deeply,"I've told you a million times. Do not call your brothers and sisters names. They look up to you, you know that", Lance just shrugged. His mother continued,"Well anyway, they're at the park. I finally convinced them to get out of the house so I could rest." Lance got up and walked over to his mom," [I]You[/I] should be the one resting, not me." He helped her to her room,"Just lay down mom. I'll be in my room if you need me. When the kids get back I'll watch 'em, and we'll only wake you up if it's an emergency." His mom pulled the sheets over her,"You're a good boy, Lance. *yawn* enjoy your..." She fell asleep suddenly. Lance smiled and slowly backed out of the room, closing the door behind him."Rest well mom..." He turned around, grabbed his soda and his bag, then went into his room. He threw his bag onto his bed, grabbed the remote, and sat down in front of his desk. He turned on the computer and the T.V, then began flipping through the channels. As he was browsing, the computer began to beep. He turned around and looked at the message. "digiworld.net" he read aloud to himself."Hmm....never seen this before, wonder what it could be?" He looked into the hallway to make sure no one was coming,"Well better open it up..." He clicked the message and was met by a blank screen with a large, funny symbol on it. "What the hell?" He became woosy and suddenly fell unconcious. --------- Lance began to stir and then woke up. He groaned and then held his head,"What happened? All I remember is that weird message and then---" he stopped talking and opened his eyes wide. No longer in front of him was his room, but instead there wasa grassy plain, with a stream behind him. He started to walk backwards,"I don't believe it. Ugh.. maybe there was rum in the Coke? Yah that's gotta--" he was interupted by a squeaky,"Ow!!", from underneath his foot. What did I do?!?" The rock was pummeted by another attack. Dodomon took control of itself for a moment and yelled, "Get away, human!" The Puppet Master took control again and banged it's haed against a rock in order to hurt his tool.[/SIZE] [SIZE=1]Lance jumped up in outrage and ran towards it,"No body purposely hurts the defenseless without punishment!!" Lance reared back his fist and was about to swing at Dodomon, when all of a sudden everything went black. He looked around, once again confused. He looked ahead and saw the funny symbol that he had seen in the message. It drifted towards him, landed in his hand, and became a digvice. He held his digivice high over his head and looked down," I know what I must do...CREST WEAPON ACTIVATE!!"[/SIZE] [SIZE=1]He was once again in the Digital World and was holdong two daggers instead of a digivice.He looked up at the frightened Puppet Master and smiled. "Now you get the punishment you deserve!!" Lance ran forwards and lunged at the Dodomon. Dodomon spoke frantically[/SIZE][SIZE=3][B][COLOR=Red],"You think defeating me in this body means anything? This is only a tool, you'll never---" [/COLOR][/B][/SIZE] [SIZE=1]Lance interrupted the Puppet Master by cutting off it's wings and horn. He jumped back and stared at the wounded Dodomon Then something strange happened. From Dodomon's wound came a large orb with the letter E on it.[/SIZE] [SIZE=1][I]That must be the E-Virus[/I], he thought to himself. He ran forward at the orb,"Puppet Master! Your stay in Dodomon's body has just ended!!" He leaped at the orb and slashed it in half. The orb obliterated, and Dodomon returned back to normal. The creature lowered itself to the ground in pain. Lance walked over twoards it. "You alright now?" He bent down in front of the creature to make sure. Dodomon smiled op at him,"Yah, just fine now! Thanks alot for helping me, that Puppet Master is one horrid force. He' been torturing the Digimon in this world for a long time know." And then Dodomon explained everything to Lance. By the end Lance was so furious he was steaming. Lance stood up in anger,"I cannot allow this to continue! I will stop him, no matter what it costs!" Dodomon got up and smiled,"Oh thank you! But do not worry, you are not alone. There are other humans like youself who will journey with you. You can find them with your digivice." Lance looked at his daggers,"You mean the thing that turned into these? Wicked." Lance became bewildered as the daggers turned back into a digivice. He examined his digivice, and suddenly it began beeping. Lance looked up at the Dodomon to see it start walking away. He yelled up frantically,"Wait! Why is my digivice beeping?!?" Dodomon yelled back,"That means another human is nearby! Go look for him! I must be going now, but good luck on your journey!" Lance watched the digimon walk off. [I]This doesn't make any sense...[/I]he looked down at his digivice and saw that there was a compass pointing east. [I]Well, I guess it's pointin in the direction of the other human,[/I] he thought to himself. And with that he began his adventure..[/SIZE]

[I]The idea for this just kinda came to me, hope you like it. [COLOR=SlateGray]A scream echoed in the still halls of the ancient temple. A beautiful young woman ran into the holy room, with a dark entity in close pursuit. The dark force sneered, "Young Endela, you are foolish to believe you can possibly stand against me". Endela ran in front of magical barrier and began to chant. A white light enveloped her and a holy aura filled the room, ?You do not scare me Rinaro", she glared at the beast, ?if you are to get the Light Gem of Fazon you must get through me and my allies!" The room flooded with energy and creatures of light appeared to aid Endela. The creatures dashed forward at Rinaro from all directions. Rinaro uttered a sentence in the dark language and creatures were obliterated by a wave of darkness. Rinaro began drifting towards Endela, a look of satisfaction and victory dancing in his eyes, ?Such futile efforts, Endela. You know that I am the dark spirit. You know I am the controller of the shadows. Yet you are ever so persistent. No matter, I will take the Gem into my possession and your pathetic crusade against my legion of dark knights and I will have been in vain". He grinned and then lunged towards Endela, impaling her with his claws. Endela screamed in pain, but Rinaro took no notice and continued talking," But... if you kindly hand over the Gem from that magical barrier...maybe I'll spare your life. Maybe". Endela winced in pain and grabbed the Gem," Heh,heh...Rinaro, you want this Gem badly don't you?" she looked at him mockingly. Rinaro became confused and stared quizically,"Do you jest? Of course I want the Gem of light. For then, and only then I can bring my dark forces into Fazon." Endela nodded and smiled sweetly, staring down at the Gem in her hand. Rinaro suddenly caught on," What are you....no, do not harm it!!" His plead was not headed for at that second Endela smashed the Gem into 16 pieces and with the last of her strength, scattered them to the furthest reaches of Fazon. "Now you will never posses the Gem of Light--" her sentence was cut short as Rinaro split her body in half. He grumbled under his breath and flew off into the night sky. [CENTER]----------------------[/CENTER] [I]Elsewhere....[/I] A gathering was being held for the Elders of Fazon. The Elders had been discussing the threat Rinaro passed in the Room of the Mystics, when a dark aura settled upon them. The High Elder, Gantra, placed his head in his hands, overcome with grief. Another elder, Turoway, stood up and and frantically yelled at Gantra, ?High Elder! That horrid feeling just now, what was that?!?" Gantra raised his head, his eyes filled with sorrow, ?The life force of Endela, our beloved Gem Defender, had faded from this world and gone on to the next. Rinaro can be held responsible for this foul deed". The Elders stirred and began talking amongst themselves. Gantra cleared his throat and the room fell silent, ?But do not fret, for not all is lost. Though Rinaro has taken away one dear to us, Endela would not succumb to him even in her dying moments. Before her life was taken she managed to crush the Light Gem and scatter it's pieces--" A roar of outrage escaped another Elder, Noryu,"You speak of this as if it were something to celebrate! The Light and Holy Gems have always kept the dark forces out of Fazon. Now that the Light Gem has been shattered, the Holy Gem's power will deplete in a matter of days. Then what will become of us?" Gantra sighed, then shook his head,"Noryu, Noryu. You speak in anger and you allow that anger to blind you. She saved us by crushing that Gem. Had Rinaro gained possession of it his powers would have doubled, and we'd be powerless to his will. As long as we retrieve the shards of that Gem before Rinaro does we should be fine". He stood up and walked towards a box with ancient symbols engraved upon it, ?Since we must stay and channel our own energy into the Holy Gem, we must give these other Gems to warriors of great skill. I have decided the perfect way too...we shall hold tournaments for great warriors to come from all over and compete. Let us make haste, for there is not a minute to spare..." And far away the dark spirit, Rinaro, smiled,".....a tournament....two can play that game..." [CENTER]----------------------[/CENTER][/I] There are 18 Gems altogether. The Gem of Light is not available, and neither is the Holy Gem since it corresponds with the Light Gem. When you win one of the tournaments, the Elders or Rinaro will present you with money and one of the Gems of Fazon. These Gems are: [B]Rune Gem:[/B] Uses power of Rune. Channels energy through rune symbols. [B]Soldier Gem:[/B] Uses power of swordsmanship. Makes weapon indestructible and increases it's power. [B]Mage Gem:[/B] Uses power of magery. Uses the ancient, purest form of magic. [B]Speed Gem:[/B] Uses power of agility. Gives user such great speed that they can even appear invisible. [B]Armored Gem:[/B] Uses power of defense. Pieces of the Light Gem have been scattered through the regions of Wertu, Naplehum, and Konocan. Both Rinaro and the Elders have in their possesion some of the Gems. The Elders have the: Rune, Mage, Speed, and Spirit Gems; while Rinaro has the: Soldier, Armored, Flight, and Dread Gems. During your journey you will acquire a stronger Gem that corresponds with you current Gem. They are in the same order as the other Gems.
