He stopped and perched on one tree where he thought the cry of distress had come from. He looked down and saw a group of demon harrasing a young girl."Come on show us your beautiful figure", one of the demon got closer to her,"We promise not to hurt you, yet. The group of demon laughed. Anorith was disgusted with them and ferociouly shot an arrow through the forehead of the demon who had been talking. He then jumped down and put his bow back on his back," Get out of here mam. Let me take care of this vermon".The girl ran away, and Anorith drew his daggers. "You demons are scum, messing witha young girl like that. I'll make you pay for what you've done." One demon laughed and stepped forward,"Just try and--", the next moment Anorith had one of his daggers lodged in the demons throat. The other demons became outraged and rushed him. Anorith retreaved his blade from the demons neck and spun around. The first demon jumped into the air claws stretched out. The other two ran to both of his sides and gashed them. Anorith yelled in fury and began slashing at his two opponents on the ground furiously. Once they were dead he pulled out his bow and shot an arrow straight through the body of the demon in mid-air. Anorith looked around, sheathed his daggers, and then collapsed. He looked up and saw a silver falcon hovering above him.[I]I've finally found one worthy[/I]...Anorith opened his eyes in shock. He looked at the falcon,"Did you just--."He was cut off, for at that moment the falcon became a silver streak diving towards the ground, straight at him. The falcon hit and became a part of Anorith. He suddenly felt a change draw over him. His hair turned silver, and his eyes became a transparent blue. The young man looked at him, "Yes, tell me. Would you happen to know anyone who can control an element?" The two the then began talking. Proto learned that the young man's name was Reis, and of what the two needed to do."Well... Ocsygin is the closest town," he turned towards the east,"If we head in that direction we should make it there in no time". Just as he's about to get into the cart, Shizo and Tuno come running mady for the trail. "Wait!" Shizo and Tuno stop right in front of their brother, panting heavily. They try to talk but no words come out. "Hey you two", Taoru says nervously," you'd better take a breather or else you might faint". He chuckles. Shizo looks up at him," We didn't want youto leave without you getting the presents we bought for you in town." Tuno pipes up," Yah, it'll be the last time we see you for a long, long time. If we didn't get you something we'd never live with ourselves." He reaches into his pouch ad pulls out a chain with a dragon on the end of it," It's a good luck charm, it cost all of my saved Gil to get t but it was worh it." Shizo brings his hands from behind his back and reveals a magnifecent flute," I know you like it when I play, so I figured I'd get you your own, so you can play it whenever." Tarou looks at his brothers affectionatly and bends over to give them hugs. After a few moments of hugging his father yells form the cart," Let's go already!!" Taoru stops hugging his brothers and hugs the rest of his family, then climbs into the cart. The cart begins to move forward and he grins and yells back to his slowly dissapearing family," Don't worry, I won't let you down! I promise!" He waves at his family untill they're nothingbut a speck on the horizo, then he leans back in his chair. His dads looks over at him, "You ready for this champ? She fought off the fierce creatures and nursed the old man to health. When the old man eventually gained conciousness he revealed to her his identity and agreed to teach Layan the arts he knew, as long as she would stay with him and protect him. Layan was taught the arts of theivery, archery, and swordsmanship. Layan lived with the old man for 5 years, and in that time she became an accomplished warrior. But one day she returned to the caven to find the old man sprawled across the ground, arrows protruding from his body. The old man had barely enough strength to say his last words,"Under...the floorboard..a chest...take the weapons in..it and go..go to..the..cit..." and his last breath escaped form him. Layan, her face stained with tears,opened the chest and found two magnificently crafted daggers, and a bow with arrows. With those in hand she left off for the city. A war had been raging between The Angels, a leauge of holy knights who serve as protectors and keepers of the peace, and The Demons, a vile demonic race dedicated to eraticating the Haru (the last surviving human race). The Demons were superior in strength to The Angels, and The Angels suffered many loses from their endless encounters. The Angels's forces crippled, and The Demons took advantage of their advesaries weakened state. The Demons overpowered the Angels and attempted to annihalate them. After the assault only a small band of Angels survived, and they went into hiding. With their enemies out of the way, The Demons slowly took a rise into power. They conquered lands, transformed Haru into Demons, and destroyed any who were rebellious. To ensure that there would be complete control, 8 Demon Gods were sent to rule over different regions. They were: Tonfu of Flame, Xioyu of Water, Ziaro of Sky, Shiva of Ice, Tantaro of Earth, Zambia of Wind, Nutaroo of Darkness, and Lucifer of Light. These Demon God's strength was uncomparable, and so none opposed them. The Angels realized that if the Demon Gods were to be defeated, they must give the essence of the elements (their pure form) to 8 individual Haru. The elements took the form of animals, and went in search of suitable Haru. The Angels set out to help and guide the chosen Haru shortly afterwards. Blue said some aercane words, and he, Kirohoki and Toro disappeared. They reappered in the outskirts of the village, and Toro was even more pissed."Damn!!", Toro yelled in outrage," That demon was getting the best of us, and when we're finally startin' to kick it's ***, it runs away.Then the kid we save goes ballistic and tries to kill us!! Some repayment that was." Toro kicks the ground in digust."Dios is one of the few Demon gods who favor humans. He must really hold a grudge against demons. But still...argh!!" Toro was practically steaming. "Keep your cool, Toro. It's over now", Blue replies reassuringly," Lets just hope that the next time we meet that kid he's in a better attitude". Toro grins." Blue turns and is shocked by what is seen. Kairo is now the same size as the dragon and changed physically. It's eyes phased from blue to red, and it developed to wings. Kirohiko glares at Toro,"I thought you said that thing is your father, or something like that!"Toro grins,"That is my father. Or was. He was born as the great Demon God, Tyranos of the wind. He took a human form for his own,and became mortal."Toro takes a break and then finishes speaking." But he retained his powers. When he died his soul and powers fused and created...well, that." Toro jumped into the air and created a whirlwind of fire around his blade, "your life ends now, DEMON!!" Toro drove his blade straight through the demons skull, and watched as the corpse fell to the ground. "Too easy..."Toro murmured to himself.
