I’m used to her being late; late in a variety of ways, and never in one that I’m fond of. It’s just with the times as of late, with all of the blood on the streets, it’d make sense for her to be the next addition to the crimson mural. [She’s] a pretty girl, and one of the few girls in the city you couldn’t buy. Not only that, but people in her profession, “the nosy pricks” as most of Otaku Sin City called them, were always at risk of turning up in a trash bin. It pays well to be a journalist in Otaku Sin City, but sometimes the price to stay one is a little high. I look down at my watch again- 1:25. She went down to Old Town a while ago to examine the recent expiration of a local girl... I heard the name Carrie thrown around once or twice. I didn’t know much about her, but judging by the word on the street and the commotion in Old Town, this girl was important to somebody. And more than likely that somebody would be out for revenge. “Exactly what this city needs,” I scoff. “Another vengeance seeking figure like my brother. Hopefully this guy’s a bit more composed than Afro.“ Finally I see her car pulling up to the building. I can’t help but smile at the sight; my hand can loosen its grip around my Berretta now. The window curtain drops as I spin on my heel and head to open the door for her. I patiently perch behind the peep hole and wait for her to scurry up. You might be wondering why I’m so eager to see her. Granted, I love Kelsey about as much as I love my brother, and if I could help it, I’d spend every waking moment with her. But tonight I’m desperate for her touch for another reason. Afro’s more than determined to find his wife and pummel… I mean interrogate her and her new husband. There’s a good chance she knows something about Jasmine’s death, and that means Afro and I are going to have to pay her a visit. Only problem is, we don’t know where she’s made off to. Shouldn’t be too hard to figure out for men with our connections, but it still might take days, weeks if we’re unlucky. I could leave all that in a message for Kels, but I think she’d prefer to hear it face to face. Knock. Knock. I swing open the door, and the next minute her arms are wrapped around my neck and I’ve got my back against the floor. I kick the door closed and pull her in tightly; her cold lips feel great against mine. I roll over on top of her and kiss her again, intent on taking advantage of my limited time here. My lips brush her neck softly; I’m starting to forget why I came here. I hear her voice flitter down to me. “Someone missed me today.” We both chuckle at that, and I kiss her collarbone. I’m about ready to undo her shirt when my phone vibrates in my pocket. Tch. Afro undoubtedly. I sigh and grab the phone. The message is short and to the point. Hurry up. “Is everything alright?” I look back at her and absentmindedly shove my phone back into my pocket. She looks great tonight, and I could stare into her pale eyes for the rest of the night. Unfortunately, my phone was burning against my leg; Afro had a way of keeping me on task. I kiss her forehead and answer her as I help her up. “Yeah, everything’s fine. It’s just Afro.” She smiles and takes off her jacket, then finishes removing her shirt for me. I glance down at my watch—1:45—then look back up at her. Bra. Skirt. Heels. Fuck. She saunters over to me and presses herself against me. As if her demeanor didn’t reveal her intentions, her eyes said it all. I’m shooting Afro when I get downstairs. “I’m sorry Kels…” The words are hard to get out through the haze in my head, “but I can’t stay. Afro’s… A new lead on Jasmine… Going to be gone for a couple of days… Wanted to tell you in person.” The look in her eyes changes to disappointment, but the look is there for only a second. She passionately presses her lips to mine and interlocks our hands. She’s afraid, like she always is, that I won’t make it back. That this’ll be the last time she sees me outside of a casket. She rests her head against my chest and speaks softly. “You’ll be careful, right?” I hold her firmly and gaze out the window, watching the rain strike against the glass. Of course I’ll be careful. But whoever wanted Jasmine dead wanted to hit Afro where it hurt. Jasmine meant the world to Afro… The only other thing Afro has now is me. You tell me; what are my odds of staying safe? “Of course, babe. I’ll be back before you know it.” I slam the door to the car and lock my seat belt in place, annoyed. Afro brings the car to life and drives off, not bothering to look at me once. We continue on for a couple of minutes in silence, until finally he decides to speak. “Sorry.” Short and to the point. That’s Afro for you. “No worries. You arrange the meeting?” Afro nods and tosses me a pad of paper. I look it over and nod back, then begin fiddling with my gun. We were after another information trafficker now, and chances are he’d be more prepared than old Nathan was. Doesn’t matter much. No one’s ever quite prepared for Afro’s brand of questioning.

Perhaps not a map, though one would be nifty, just a list of the major places of Otaku Sin City and a small description that follows each one. We could all even input our own special sector for the city, and then possibly after we've established a pretty set idea of the places of Otaku Sin City we could consider mapping it. So... Um... Yay?

Name: Caelus “Cael” Nebulous Age: 18 Gender: Male Appearance: [Cael] Cael’s upper torso is covered by a thin, black, zip-up hoodie with the sleeves ripped off and a a white, collared t-shirt. On both bicep is a folded over black bandanna that leads to a leather wristband of the same color, with a white cross on it. On both middle fingers is a silver ring with a black coarse center and three crosses. His legs are covered by baggy black pants that tighten into black steel toed boots. As for accessories, he wears a pair of black DJ headphones around his neck, and a pair of rectangular glasses. Caelus also has 4 earrings on his left ear- three on the top, and one through the lobe. His “mark of the Heretic” is located under his right ribcage, and looks like a surgery wound. Personality: Caelus is as amiable as they come—there’s not a soul alive who can say they don’t enjoy his presence. He’s always smiling, he always acts respectfully, he’s always kind to women and the elderly, always sportsman-like, and he’s always quick to alert the proper authorities of suspected atheism. This is the Caelus that most of the world is exposed to; the epitome of a young, pious gentleman, surely to follow in his father’s footsteps within the church when he gets old enough. This is the Caelus that lives under the watchful eyes of the Global Theocracy. Cael of the Heretics is not much different for the most part. He’s still always smiling, and everyone enjoys his presence. He’s respectful of the elderly and women unless they stand in the way of the Heretics, in which case he won’t hesitate to bring his baseball bat to their spines. He’s still quick to alert the authorities as well; his favorite method of attack, in fact, is luring deceived soldiers over to him and quickly incapacitating them. Short Bio: Cael was born to Gerhild and Cornellia Nebulous. From Cael’s birth he was raised to be a tool of the church, to be useful in anyways that the Global Theocracy and the High Inquisitor would need. His upbringing was strict and moral, and he was never exposed to the filthy, sacrilegious parts of the city. This ascetic lifestyle did not denote an unloving environment, however; though Cael and his brother Gaizka, whom he simply called Clockwork, were forced to live a certain way, it could never be said that their parents didn’t love them and what the best for them. That wasn’t enough for Cael, however. His upbringing left him with an emptiness in his chest, with deep, powerful longings and desires that he did not know how to sate. He was restricted in his time with anyone of another sex save for his mother. He could never lash out in anger; anger was an emotion not allowed to him, unless it was fueled by religious fervor against the atheists. In his perfectly sheltered society, it seemed as if no one was upset or troubled, but adversely, no one was ever happy. This inner frustration finally found its way out, however. One day he witnessed his father apprehending a man he claimed worked for the terrorist group “The Heretics”. Cael was immediately fascinated with the man, and could not help but idolize him; the fear, panic and discomfort he brought onto the people in Cael’s shallow community assured Cael that this man was good. He was the Emotion Man, come to a town of Austerity. Discovering where the man was to be held prisoner before his execution he released the man and begged that he allow Cael to join the Heretics. Skeptical, the man required that Cael prove to him his devotion to bringing down the Global Theocracy. Cael grabbed a cross he had been given by his mother from his pocket, and stabbed a nearby rat repeatedly with it. Somewhat convinced, he insisted that Cael meet him alone a couple nights from then in a shady area of town. Cael did so faithfully, and there received his tattoo indicating his allegiance to the Heretics. Weapons: When roaming the streets at night on his deliberated war against the local Adepts, he wields an aluminum bat and an Inquisition licensed handgun he stole from his father. When simply waltzing around in everyday life, he keeps a straight edged fixed blade knife in his right boot. Special Skills: His charm and ability to act are his most used abilities. He can easily persuade most anyone to believe whatever lies spill from his silver tongue, and he has a myriad of practiced personalities for any given occasion. Physically, he’s quite toned—though not exactly muscular—from the training regimen his father puts him through so he can be a proficient Adept. Vice: Jovial Violence- Cael can’t resist the pleasures of watching his enemy—whoever they might be at the moment—squirm and cry out and anguish. He means them no mal-intent, per se, but he simply enjoys that cracking of bones and the staining and smearing of blood. He enjoys other sins just as much as any man—he’s got a knack for tagging along with his associates for late nights filled with 22 Blue and women—but violence is his greatest pleasure. He prefers it to be justifiable, but sometimes he can get out of hand. Writing Sample: The rain was coming down heavy tonight, and the streets were relatively devoid of life; save for the occasional bum or dead heathen body left to rot on the streets by the Adepts as an example to other atheist sympathizers. Cael didn’t mind, however. The less people there were on the streets, and the darker the atmosphere was, the easier it would be to attack the adept he had been tailing without worry of him receiving back up. The Adept was oblivious to his stalker—he thought simply because he was allowed to roam the streets with an Inquisition sanctioned rifle that no one would dare approach him. He was wrong. Caelus waited for the man to round the corner, then yelled out in mock pain, quickly ducking to the left into the adjoining street. It didn’t take long at all to hear the shuffling of the adept’s feet as he backtracked down the alleyway. He stopped hallway down, listening intently to hear if the sound would repeat itself. Cael hoped the man would trek forward of his own accord, but alas, it was a foolish wish; the guard refused to move without a second indication that something indeed was the matter. Caelus sighed and picked up a nearby rock, hurling it far in the opposite direction of the guard, then pressed himself tightly against the wall. Finally the rock made contact and a loud metal clang reverberated into the night. The Adept quickly continued his sprint to find the source of the noise. Unfortunately for him, he was stopped short. Just as the Adept’s footprints sounded close enough, Cael swung his aluminum bat around the corner, connecting squarely with the rushing guard’s chest. The wind was instantly knocked out of the man as his back connected with the ground; blood squirted from his mouth on impact. Cael quickly progressed to pound the man’s arms at his elbows and legs at his knees before he could defend himself. Whenever the Adept attempted to scream, Cael lightly stomped his foot over the Adept’s mouth. He then quickly disarmed the man of all of his belongings and pocketed them. Having finished with his first objective, he propped the body up against a nearby trash bin and sat down next to him. “So how are you this lovely evening?” The guard stared at disbelief at this unexpected occurrence. The last thing he had expected his assailant to do was engage him conversation. His disbelief quickly turned to rage, however, and he attempted to spit a mixture of blood and mucus at Cael, which only succeeded in launching onto his own clothing. Cael frowned and started fixedly at the man, then spontaneously grabbed at the man’s mouth and ripped out a tooth. He tossed the tooth away and then smiled again. “Alright, so you’re not preferable to that question? Well… How about your name? Surely that’s not too much to ask.” The man, still reeling from shock and immense pain, absentmindedly answered the question. “T..Titan… Erreus Titan.” Cael smiled and grabbed Erreus’ closest hand, and shook it vigorously. “Nice to meet you Erreus. Is it alright if I call your Erreus?” Erreus, having once again regained his wits, snapped at Cael. “Call me whatever the fuck you want asshole.” Cael rolled his eyes and shoved the end of the bat into Erreus’ stomach and rotated it in circles for a while, grinding it into his flesh. Erreus cried out in pain. “Why are you doing this to me? What is it you want? You’ve taken everything from me, there’s nothing I can do to hurt you! Kill me and be done with it!” Cael pulled the bat away from Erreus and calmly and cheerfully responded. “I’d just like to have a conversation with you. This whole endeavor would be much less painful if you would give me that pleasure.” Erreus’s mouth immediately snapped shut, though his eyes betrayed his incredulity. Cael tilted his head so that he could see Erreus and continued. “So, what I’d like to know is why exactly do you do, what you do? Do you believe wholeheartedly in your cause? Is it entirely with religious zeal that you come out into the streets and murder people without unbiased justice?” Erreus answered Cael proudly despite his bitter words. “I come out here every night to do the bidding of the church and our god, no less. People have chosen the path of monsters and demons for themselves; they have chosen the path of the devil and will continue to choose this path unless we, God’s soldiers, strive to make his will known.” Cael took a moment to let the comment settle, than spoke again; still he spoke with a cheery tone, but it was lined with introspection. “So you admit that naturally, human beings gravitate towards sinfulness. So in essence, human nature is the nature of godlessness.” Erreus, if he had use of his limbs, would have jumped up at that; instead he was forced to settle for a quick head spin. He opened his mouth to talk but forcefully vomited up some blood. Cael waited politely for the man to finish before continuing. “Even you practitioners of God sin, don’t you? Or does the cruel and oftentimes grotesque murder of “atheist” citizens not count under ‘God’s’ definition of Wrath?” Erreus glared spitefully at Cael, took a deep, blood curdled breath, and the provided his rebuttal. “Humans were not always sinful. It was through the deception of the devil that we became impure. Over time our race began to accept this imperfection, and even to embrace it. Yes, we of the Global Theocracy sometimes exert extreme violence over sinners, but it’s necessary. We must remind the world of the evils of sin, we must remind the world of its pure and righteous beginnings by refusing to allow it any other way of life. Yes, we are wrathful and deceptive at times—but if a brighter, happier world demands that we sacrifice ourselves to the fiery pit then so be it.” Errreus complacently closed his mouth with this, and stared off into the heavens. Cael was left relatively stunned himself, now. Most of the Adepts he’d come across had reverted to their true, vile nature under this much ‘damage’—they revealed themselves as the embodiments of sin. But not this one. He truly believed in this warped view the Global Theocracy was attempting to shove down everyone’s throats. Though this was undoubtedly commendable, it made him the most dangerous of all the religious zealots. Cael shook himself out of his thoughts then sprung up. He positioned himself right in front of Erreus, then balanced his bat on his shoulders as he talked. “You’re a rare one. So blindly faithful in what the church has brainwashed you to believe. You don’t find it in the least bit contradictory, do you? A society where morality is forcibly policed through immorality. A society so obsessed with eradicating filth that its rigidness and intolerance breed fouler and more putrid slime. We were given freedom of choice for a reason. We choose to eat the forbidden fruit. We were born with ability to sin and to disobey, just as easily as we were able to love and be virtuous. Attempting to make us choose one side to our nature is blasphemy. God is, according to your text, a being of duality; a being of life and death. Why then, shouldn’t we be allowed the same existence?” Erreus said nothing in response. Cael couldn’t tell if his speechlessness came from an inability to refute his statement, or an unwillingness to acknowledge it. It matter little either way. Cael was finished with him. He grabbed the bat with both hands and wound up. “Well Erreus, this was a lovely conversation. It’s a shame that I have to kill you now. I admire your passion and zeal to the utmost, I truly do… If only it had been in the name of human progression, not oppression. Alas, nothing can be done now. Goodnight, Mr. Erreus Titan.” And with that, Cael swung the bat with all of his might and decapitated Adept Erreus.

OOC: I changed Nero?s appearance and outfit to something that I felt was more accurate to the character. Oh, and demonchild, I didn't want to have all the fun, so take it from here. [Nero] [Outfit] * IC: Nero stared intently at Firenze, looking her over as Seraphim walked past her. He didn?t quite understand the nature of this battle?nor was he required too. What Seraphim willed was final. However, he didn?t feel quite right battling an opponent who was already injured. He felt it gave him an unfair disadvantage. He grabbed his katana and pistol and tossed them to Cora, who was standing at the side of the arena. Firenze scoffed with disapproval. ?Do you think me so weak that you don?t even need your manmade toys, boy?? Nero chuckled and faced her once again, moving his hands to his side. The air crackled as he summoned electric bolts through his conduit rings. He assumed a low crouched pose, lightning still present, and responded. ?No. I think you a formidable enough opponent that I want to fight you as naturally as I can. Shall we?? Firenze grinned and morphed into her wolf form. Nero quickly released a bolt of lightning at her, unwilling to allow her the first strike. She carefully leapt away from the bolt and sprinted forward, lunging directly at Nero?s chest. Surprisingly, he did not attempt to evade her. Thinking like a wolf, he charged her head on. He used his left arm to hold back the ferocious might of the wolf, and with the other, launched a concentrated lightning bolt into her chest. She whimpered lightly and flew backwards, landing a few paces away from him. Her fur was smoking from the strike, and his arm was bleeding from her claws, but they barely noticed. Already she could see that his fighting style was different from Seraphim?s; already she could see that he had grown to resemble her as a warrior, despite their years of separation. This time Nero rushed forward, aiming to claw at Firenze?s neck with his nails. It was a risky move, as getting close enough to her neck to strike meant getting close enough to her mouth that she could easily bite him. Regardless, he went ahead with his plan, and skillfully managed to avoid her jaw as he swiped at her neck. Firenze was too quick, however; Nero only managed to brush his claws against her back legs as she passed. Due to the unexpected miss he went stumbling onto his hands, and opened up the perfect opportunity for Firenze to strike at his back. She pounced at him, but she, too, was met with disappointment. Always alert and battle savvy, Nero had swung his legs upwards forcefully after bracing his hands against the ground, and thus sent Firenze reeling past him. He steadied himself and then addressed his opponent. ?You?re faster and stronger than any other wolf I?ve ever faced. I?m somewhat regretful now to have given up my katana.? Firenze, who had been forced back into her human state by the impact with the ground, shifted back into her wolf form and laughed through her monstrous teeth. ?How sad. What will you do now?? She dashed full speed at Nero, looking to bare her fangs into his stomach. Nero grinned and cupped his hands together at her. Before she even knew what happened, she was launched to the very end of the arena, and could barely dig her claws into the ground fast enough to keep from falling off. She looked, intrigued with a sick combination of motherly love and warrior like passion at Nero. The electricity was now traveling through his whole body, and the palms of his hand were still smoking from massive burst of energy he had shot at her. He replied playfully. ?I?ll just have to give you everything I?ve got.?

Intro:It had all happened so fast. One moment, Nathan Hawthorne had been rustling around in his pocket for the keys to his apartment, trying desperately to hug onto his groceries as he wrestled with the door. The next thing he knew, he was on the floor of his apartment, his groceries strewn around him, and a blade held at his throat. A low, grizzly voice came at him from the owner of the sword. “Well, Nathan? Tell me how they did it. How did they find her?” Nathan recognized the voice immediately, and became petrified with fear. Afro. One of the toughest arms dealer in town, and a close business associate of his. Afro was the wrong man to anger, to cross, to irritate, even. He opened his mouth to make a sound, but found he couldn’t; he could only open and close his mouth repeatedly, like a fish out of water, and hope that the blade didn’t lose its patience. Another voice from the shadows caught his attention. “I’d answer him, Nathan. He’s even less interested in your bullshit than usual. Answer him now, and don’t beat around the bushes. Trust me.” It was Afro’s brother, Omega. Always the cooler and person friendly of the two, it was a surprise that he was helping to orchestrate this interrogation on Nathan. The cold steel of Afro’s blade pushed closer to Nathan’s skin, and the man had to put all of his effort into not flinching, or fainting for that matter. Nathan opened his mouth to speak quickly, while he still had some of his wits about him. “Do what, Afro? Howdidtheymanagetodowhat?” Nathan was already out of breath, and could barely calm himself down enough to sputter out his sentence, let alone to add the proper spacing to it. Unfortunately, it only got worse for him. Afro pulled his blade back and sheathed it, then grabbed Nathan by the collar and pressed him against the wall. He put his face right in front of Nathan, and Nathan could easily see the rage filling every crease in his skin. Afro’s words came out in a low, guttural snarl. “How they found my fucking daughter you asshole. You’re one of the few people in this hell hole who knows exactly which part of town my daughter and I were located”. Nathan’s eyes filled with fear, and he quickly found his voice again. “Afro, you know I would never betray you! We been working together for years now. I owe half of my clients to you! Why would I betray you?!” Afro examined the man thoroughly, his eyes scrutinizing him for any sign of dishonesty. He was both pleased and disheartened to find none. It meant his search was once again fruitless, and it made the next part much more difficult. He dropped Nathan to the ground, and unsheathed his blade. “I can see in your eyes that you have remained a more than loyal accomplice. I apologize then, for what must happen next. No one can know about my search for my daughter’s murderer. And more importantly, this cannot be allowed to happen again. Whether or not you leaked the information about my whereabouts is inconsequential. It has become clear to me that no one should possess this knowledge. So goodbye my old friend… You must---“, Afro’s sentence was cut short by the quick sound of metal. Nathan stared at disbelief at the scene, and could barely keep conscious, let focus past the sound of his own heartbeat, to hear the younger brother speak as he held his sibling at gunpoint. “Why? Why kill him? He’s of no real threat to us. Even if someone caught on to what we were doing and came after Nathan, it’s obvious that he would remain loyal to us. Killing him solves nothing—it only temporarily feeds your rage.” Afro remained silent, his cold gaze fixed upon Nathan. Omega continued with his plea. “When Jasmine was killed, I was heartbroken. She was my niece, and you know I cared for her dearly. I rallied behind you one hundred percent in catching the bastard and seeing that he was brought to justice. But this… Afro, you’ve killed dozens thus far, people who knew nothing, people who might’ve known something but refused to reveal it, anyone who you came across that didn’t provide you with exactly what you need. Some of them weren’t even criminals! But I stood idly by, and watched as you slaughtered all of those people, and tried to justify it by saying that it was all for Jasmine. Fuck, the unfair responsibility I put on her shoulders by saying that! Jasmine would never have wanted this. I can’t even imagine why Jasmine’s death justifies these killings for you. And before you kill another, I need you to explain yourself… Or else I’m going to end this path of meaningless deaths you’re blazing.” The room was deathly silent after Omega finished, and remained that way for several minutes; all the while, Afro’s eyes never moved from Nathan’s face, and Omega’s never once wavered away from Afro. Finally Afro, without changing his posture or moving his blade, diverted his stare to Omega and responded. “Jasmine was my life. Everything I did in life, I did to protect Jasmine and you, and eventually Kelsey once she entered into your life. I knew that if anyone knew where we were, if anyone could even find the approximate location, that all of our lives would be in danger. So I trusted very, very few with this information. When Jasmine died, it could only have been the product of disloyalty—disloyalty in someone that I had trusted my very life with. The fact that any one of the people I killed was even remotely suspect, that any one of them could have possibly done it, means there’s just as much chance that they will do it in the future. Just as much of a chance that one day, I’ll wake up and find you dead… Or you’ll wake up and find Kelsey dead. Could you live with that? Could you live knowing that you allowed there to be even the slightest chance of Kelsey’s death?” Omega’s arms had fallen helplessly to his sides now, and his head was hung with hopelessness. Without raising his gaze or speaking another word, he leveled his gun, and fired two shots. The body slumped lifelessly to the ground, and crimson blood began to leak onto the floorboards. “You had me worried there for a second. I thought you might actually kill me.” Afro sheathed his blade and smiled at his brother. He grabbed Nathan’s motionless body and tossed it against one of the walls, next to some of Nathan’s documents, a canister of gasoline, and a suitcase full of assorted explosives. As he prepared the room for annihilation, Omega began speaking once more, almost as if too himself. “In Greek mythology, there’s this couple; Jason, of Jason and the Argonauts, and his first wife, Medea. Well, Medea helps Jason with his task to capture the Golden Fleece, and in some versions of the tale does most of his work on her own. Through her antics and defensiveness of her husbands, however, she manages to get them into a great deal of trouble, which results in Jason not receiving the kingship he sought after by retrieving the Fleece”. Afro stared, confused at his brother. He opened his mouth to question the importance of the tale, but Omega began speaking again. “Now here, the tale diverges greatly. In one account, Jason’s marriage to Medea ensures them the throne elsewhere, though the details of that account are irrelevant. What’s important is the other account. Here, Jason leaves Medea for the princess of another land, in what is obviously an attempt at a throne elsewhere. Medea, in her rage and having recently birthed his two children, devises a plan for revenge. She kills Jason’s new wife and her father, than slaughters their children in the ultimate show of vengeance.” Omega grew quiet again, and Afro took this chance to question him. “…And the point being?” Omega looked up at Afro, and, seeing that he had finished preparing the room, walked for the door. Afro set the timer for the explosives and followed behind Omega. They walked all the way down the hallway unnoticed and entered the elevator. Omega pressed the button for the first floor, than began speaking again as the elevator doors closed. “Jasmine's funeral was peculiar, wasn't it? Absolutely no sign of Karen... No sign of her own mother. You sent her notice of it, didn't you?” A series of explosions could be heard from overhead, but it mattered little to either of them. Afro knew who his next target was. * Name: Omega Age: 28 Occupation: Arms Dealer. Though he’d prefer not to dirty his hands with murder, his loyalty to his brother has persuaded him to assist in seeking out the person who has killed his niece, making him somewhat of a hitman as of late. Appearance: [Omega] [Outfit] Omega is a bit shorter than his brother, standing at 6’1’’. His build is basically identical, though- lean and toned, though many mistake him for fragile. His eyes are a golden, olive tone, and shine dully through his rectangular square rimmed glasses. His regular attire is shown: A black leather jacket over a white short sleeved button up shirt and black tang-top. His bottom half is covered by dark blue jeans and black converses with white lining. In addition to this, he has a cross piercing in his left earlobe and a green lantern tattoo on his inner right bicep. Personality: Omega is much more amiable and agreeable than Afro, and this has helped their business over the year. Though Afro’s straightforward demeanor and no-nonsense attitude meant the customer always received all of the information upfront, it usually also resulted in the customer feeling horridly put off and cautious of Afro. Some may have been criminals, but they preferred to deal with criminals they could trust, or even predict on some level. That’s where Omega shined. He could relate to almost anyone, and always managed to make the customer feel as if he or she could handle at least one of the brothers. That’s not to say that Omega can’t be every bit as much of an asshole as his brother. He can be just as cold and inhumane, though he finds it more straining and unnatural for him. He often only relies on this persona if he’s performing a job without his brother, or if he’s attempting to intimidate his way into information. Nero returned the mysterious figure’s playful smile, but carefully and quickly analyzed her. As if her reference wasn’t clear enough, her smell revealed her to be a quite powerful Wolf, and one that had just fed, no less. She seemed perfectly amiable, and her well applied balance of playfulness and sternness had won Nero over immediately. But something about her seemed off… The fact that she had to establish, right away, that she meant Seraphim no harm irked Nero somewhat. And the fact that she knew his name was equally unnerving. It was clear that she was well associated with the Harbingers, but how? And why didn’t he remember her? The female wolf smiled at him and cocked her head. “Well? Are you going to bring me to him, my dearest Nero?” Her tone was an odd mixture of anxious hostility and playful irritation. Nero sighed heavily and shrugged his shoulders, walking up to her and wrapping his arm around her. He summed up his inability to remember her with having met her, possibly, before the last time he had transformed. He’d still keep an eye out on her, but there was no need to regard her as a foe. Not yet. “I don’t see why not, Ms. Big Bad Wolf. Or do you go by another name?” The wolf smiled and moved her face a little closer to his, staring him squarely in the eyes. “Firenze. So shall we?” Nero raised an eyebrow, flashed his fangs, and then was gone. Firenze smiled coyly and transformed, chasing after Nero. Nero thought over the situation as he bounded through the city and into the forest. It was, of course, ill-advised to bring anyone to the Harbinger HQ, but the chances of her being able to escape were… Well, there wasn’t any chance of that. And he was sincerely interested in discovering what exactly it was she desired his leader for. Nero stopped abruptly at a river bed and took a drink of its cool water. Firenze stopped as well, transforming immediately back into her human form. Nero looked up at her and grinned. “Impressive. Most can’t transform at will, and even fewer can change so rapidly.” Firenze nodded appreciatively, but was obviously beginning to lose her patience with Nero. “Are we close?” Nero looked up at her, incredulous, and overdramatically pranced around her. “We’ve just run miles, my dear. Miles! Normal humans would probably take at least a day to travel what we just traveled in roughly thirty minutes. I don’t why we need be in such a hurry.” Firenze sucked her teeth and began pacing around, waiting for Nero to finish his drink. Nero drew another long drink from the stream, when his pocket began to vibrate. He reached into his pocket, drew out his phone and looked at the name. He motioned over to Firenze and smiled. “Yours truly.” He answered the call and brought the phone to his ear. “On your way back, Nero?” Nero nodded instinctively, his eyes flittering over to Firenze as he responded. “Almost there, my lord. And I’ve encountered someone most interested in holding an audience with you.” He could almost hear Seraphim’s indifference over the phone. “Who?” Before Nero could answer, Firenze snatched the phone away and spoke sweetly into it, casually pushing away Nero. “It’s me, my dear. Firenze. Or have you forgotten?” And before she could say anymore, a blinding flash of lightning struck her hand and knocked the phone into the air. Nero, now at her side, quickly snatched it out of the air. He hear Firenze whisper impressive… under her breath as he began speaking again. “She seemed adamant about seeing you, my lord, and I thought there no harm in bringing her along.” Seraphim stayed silent for a time, then responded curtly. “Very well. You and Firenze hurry back to base. I suppose I have business with the both of you now.” The click on the other end of the line indicated that Seraphim had nothing else to say. Nero pocketed the phone and looked back to a smiling Firenze. Without a word, he took off again, deeper into the forest and Firenze followed suit. Leon Dietrich slid delicately through the shuffling masses on the sidewalk, attempting to avoid laying out a random passerby in his haste. His target was about 20 feet in front of him, and unlike Leon, felt no need to take the wellbeing of anyone else into consideration, evidenced by the reckless abandon with which he raced down the street. To make matters worse, his careless attempt to escape had left, purposely one had to imagine, a trail of civilian “obstacles” for Leon to surmount. Leon felt bad for bounding over the fallen bodies instead of helping the rattled citizens to their feet, but he was on a mission. He was devoted to stopping crime; devoted to conquering evil. And that meant stopping every crime, even if it was simply ending the frightful reign of a local purse snatcher. Leon watched as his target quickly rounded a corner and disappeared into an alleyway; he could hear the man’s footsteps getting fainter and fainter. Refusing to allow the man to get any further away, Leon pushed his body as fast as it would go, causing small bolts of electricity to spark of off him. He rounded the corner wildly, lost his footing, and crashed violently into a row of trash cans. He barely even noticed the collision, however. He quickly pounced back up, his body releasing another wave of electricity— this time noticeably more powerful— and thoroughly electrocuted everything in his wake as he bolted after the man. Fortunately for Leon, luck was now on his side. The purse snatcher had encountered a chain-link fence, and was in the process of scaling it when Leon reached him. Leon jumped at the fence and clenched his fists tightly, causing them to glow with an intense blue shine. As soon as he was upon the fence he opened his hands and gripped the metal tightly, releasing a painful bolt through the metal and into the purse snatcher. The Snatcher yelled out in agony, unable to release his grip from the fence, and was helpless to defend himself as Leon pried the man off and threw him to the ground. Leon grinned down at the man, and pulled the purse from the man’s grip. “Did you really think I was going to let you get away?” The purse snatcher growled at him, obviously straining to recover from the shock. Leon patted the man on the shoulder and walked towards the street. “Well, while you try to move again, I’m going to hail over a policeman. Wait right there, would you?” Leon took another step towards the street, but stopped cold in his tracks as the sound of a gun cocking reached his ears. A grisly voice from behind him barked orders at him. “Turn around!” Leon gritted his teeth angrily, but did as he was told. The purse snatcher looked less then pleased, gun aimed squarely at Leon’s head. Leon could tell the man was still recovering from the bolt, however; every so often the man’s face twitched slightly, or one of his muscles would contract quickly. The man gave another order to Leon, this time a bit more calmly. “Now come here, and give me that purse. Try anything, and I’ll shoot.” Leon sneered and sauntered over to the man, hand raised at his side. “I don’t doubt that you will. But could I ask you a question? Why steal purses? Why not actually get a j—.“A shot rang past Leon’s right side and struck the wall next to him. The Snatcher had regained his composure somewhat, and no longer looked furious, simply playful. The man answered his question casually. “Because it’s more fun. At least it is to me. Now, bring me that purse, and no more questions.” Leon was now standing directly in front of the purse snatcher; and the purse snatcher’s gun was staring him directly in the eyes. Leon tossed the purse to the man discontentedly, and the man grabbed it with greedy determination. He nodded his head to Leon slightly, and waved the bad around. “Appreciate it, friend. You have yourself a nice once. Now turn around and walk away. Motion to anyone, and I sh---.” The man was knocked forcefully to the ground as two streams of lightning struck him squarely in the chest. Leon scooped up the bag swiftly and frantically ran out of the alleyway, but it was too late. The snatched had regained his wind and was pointing his gun at Leon again, and all Leon heard was a series of shots go off. He clenched his eyes tightly and braced himself, cursing the fact that he never put his powers to any real, life changing good. He waited for what seemed like an eternity, then questioningly opened his eyes and spun around. The purse snatcher was sprawled out on the ground, obviously unconscious. The wall opposite of him was lined with bullet holes. And standing above his motionless body were two figures, a male and a female, dressed in suits. The female picked up the purse and tossed it to the man, who nonchalantly walked in the opposite direction of the alleyway. Probably to return the purse, Leon thought. The woman turned to Leon and smiled at him, then walked towards him. Leon grinned back and decided to meet her halfway. She was noticeably attractive, standing at 5’7’’ with dirty blonde hair and shockingly blue eyes. She spoke softly, yet officially, which Leon admired right away. “Leon Dietrich, correct? You should have disarmed the target before turning your back on him. However, I must commend you on using your terrain to your advantage. Deciding to abandon your plan to electrocute the man close range and instead opting to use your powers on the fence was clever.” Leon smiled and was about to thank her for her criticism and compliment when he realized exactly what she said. She had mentioned his power. Nobody knew about his power, and he thought he had been somewhat discreet with the use of it. The woman smiled knowingly and continued. “Don’t be alarmed, Leon. We’re an organization that helps people like you; people who are special. We know you’ve been having difficulty controlling your ability, and that you’ve been looking for a meaningful way to use your power. We can teach you to hone your ability; we can give you a purpose. What do you say? Can we discuss it further back at our HQ?” A van pulled up behind the woman, and stopped. Leon looked hard into the woman’s eyes, searching for any signs of treachery. But her eyes were honest, her intentions were clearly good. He sighed and stuck out his hand to shake hers. “What can I say? Of course I’ll come along. I owe you nice folks for saving me… and something tells me this is exactly what I need anyways.” The woman smiled and shook Leon’s hand, and led him to the van.

Your Name: Christophe Alexandre Achard Your Age: 35 Your Connection to the Achard Family: Nephew of Olivier Achard. Christophe is son to Benoit Achard and Elise Achard-Chevalier. He is also the younger brother of Quintus Denarius Achard; despite his brother having re-assumed the name Remy to appease their parents, Christophe continues to call him Quintus to respect the changes and maturation in character that his brother has made over the years. Your Portrait: Mr. Achard Your Occupation: Having appreciated the experience and atmosphere of attending Lumière Academy, and harboring a deep passion for expanding and enlightening minds, Christophe decided to come full circle in his academic career-- he’s returned to Lumière Academy as an eccentric, high-spirited teacher. Your Story: As a boy, Christophe was always known for having his nose in a book-- the members of his household were quite accustomed to watching his messy head of hair pop out from a book occasionally, flash a toothy grin, and resume its studies. He was encouraged to read to his heart’s content, though many other families found it a somewhat negligible pastime; though intellect was revered among aristocratic families, sociability was held in a brighter, more favorable light. Often times Christophe was compared unfavorably to his older brother, Remy, as the latter clearly demonstrated many of the qualities that Christophe lacked. This never created any form of antagonism or tension between the boys, however; Christophe looked up to his older brother as a role model, and Remy fiercely defended his brother against the various criticisms that came his way. They were the most alike in intellect, and the two spent a great time conversing over various topics, with history being the hot topic more often than not. It became clear from their conversations and interactions over the years that the boys excelled in different ways; whereas Christophe was unquestionably book smart, he was somewhat unlearned in the workings of society-- Remy had a much greater understanding of the world around them atop of his intellectual pursuits. The only thing Christophe cherished more than time spent with Remy and his siblings was his time at the academy; Christophe cherished every moment there with an unparalleled passion. The teachers were very fond of him-- though noticeably less fond of him than his equally intelligent but social siblings. The students met his fervor for knowledge with brief animosity initially, but, unlike their gossiping mothers and fathers, whose disappointed reverence towards Christophe lasted well into adulthood, they eventually found Christophe to be quite pleasant, and great for reference and story-telling. Christophe only pursued his studies more furtively as the years passed by, despite the frequent criticisms that followed him. Eventually, he earned a position as a teaching assistant in Lumière Academy, and at this time Christophe blossomed. In front of a classroom, able to share his thoughts on the world, on history, on art, he was perfectly at home, and his ardent lectures and teaching methods inspired not only his students but the other staff members. In no time at all he was approached with a position teaching full-time at the Academy, which he readily accepted. It was around this time that Remy left to travel the world; he missed his brother terribly after his departure, but he easily offset his sadness by imaging the adventures his brother would take part of. Since then, having found his niche in society, Christophe has become much more social and outgoing, frequenting social gatherings and humoring the older folks who had finally accepted him into their notion of a proper aristocrat; wealthy, respected, and most importantly, lively. He is often hassled, however, for remaining a bachelor despite his age, as he spends a great portion of free time collecting books on the history of Anova and other nations instead of courting women. His knowledge of the ancient cultures is highly revered, and he is constantly attempting to get involved with any and all archaeological digs that occur so that he can get a firsthand look at the remains of the civilizations he enjoys studying. This only slightly offsets the anger with which the old aristocratic women reprimand him for not finding a wife, or at least a girlfriend. Whilst the Czenovian Revolution ensued, Christophe kept a personal journal on any bit of information he received about the war-- even rumors and myths that circulated, which he has logged in a separate notebook specifically devoted to the popular lore and fabrications of the people. Master Name: Alexander E. Meridius Age: 17 Gender: Male Appearance: [Alexander] [Alexander 2] [Alexander Clothing- sans the eyepatch, and the pants are a normal length and fit] Magic Specialty: Shield Magic- Alexander’s magic specialty augments his servant nicely- due to the fact that the Archer class is only slightly above average at close-range melee fighting, the extra boost in defense that Alexander’s shield magic creates gives Archer a better chance at either surviving the close quarters attack or an opportunity to retreat and attack from afar. This magic is also particularly useful for protecting Alexander from attacks by other servants. Personality: Alexander is an interesting person. When taking all of his characteristics into account, he appears to be a bit of a contradiction- He prefers to analyze situations and weigh his options and act accordingly, but unfortunately, his passionate, protective, caring nature often causes him to act impetuously; especially if his friends and family, and especially if Archer, is in danger. In everyday transactions he is a bit aloof- he is caring, gentlemanly and genuine, undoubtedly, but he seems a bit distant as well, as if his mind is wandering elsewhere. The truth is, Alexander tries to stay alert for as long as possible, always attempting to be ready for a servant attack. Bio: The Meridius family has been attempting to obtain the grail for ages, hoping to use it’s powers for dark intentions, such as domination, or the ability to create vast armies with which they could achieve domination. Despite their ignoble intentions, cruel mistreatment of their servants, and tendency to summon evil spirits, they have been allowed to participate in every battle for the Holy Grail thus far, but have been painstakingly unable to retrieve the grail. They are infamous among the families that participate in the completion, and even members of the family who don’t participate are regarded with disdain. One of the Meridius clan broke from this mold, however- Erebus Meridius. He ventured out the Holy Grail to better the world, and decisively fought and killed any members of his family who sought out the grail for impure intentions. He did not succeed in obtaining the grail himself, but he found peace in having kept the grail out of the hands of villains. With only his direct bloodline left, the Meridius family became a renown one, and his legacy was widespread. Since Erebus Meridius’s time, the Meridius have upheld his legacy by combating any and all dark forces the enter into the competition first and foremost, and setting out to use the Grail to do good for mankind. If they find, however, that another Master may be more noble than themselves, they will engage the fighter in an intense battle, and if defeated, will yield to them, allowing them to obtain the grail. Such honor is rare among competitors, and is often viewed by the other family’s to be naïve, despite the good intention, and ultimately an advantage for themselves. Alexander is no different; with the battle for the Holy Grail now at his feet, he is determined to act as a proper symbol for the Meridius name and see to it that the Grail is used in the best possible way. Servant Class: Archer True Name: Chiron Gender: Male Appearance: [Archer Chiron] Noble Phantasm: Sagittarius Bow When Archer calls out the name of his bow, a run circle appears in front of it, with the Zodiac symbols surrounding it. As he draws back his arrow, the symbols twirl, rapidly gaining speed, until he finally releases- at that moment the arrow hits the rune circle, the Sagittarius symbol encompasses the circle and a large blast of energy is fired at his opponent, and will not cease until it hits it’s mark, Reality Marble: Apollo’s Bright Fire Arrows- This reality marble creates a rocky, mountainous area where one single plane is surrounded by tall, nearly insurmountable cliffs. Archer’s enemies are deposited in said plain, whereas Alexander and Archer are positioned at the top of the cliffs. Archer’s eyes glow, filled with the “light of Apollo” and his speed at firing arrows is increased tenfold, and his vision is augmented to easily surpass that of a sniper scope, ensuring that he can launch multitudes of arrows with pinpoint accuracy. Personality: Archer is a compassionate, kind, gentle, and intelligent figure. He is very analytical, but he is not cold whatsoever, and though being quite the intellect, never flaunts his intelligence or attempts to “educate” those who are unwilling to hear of his vast knowledge. Thanks to his studies from his past life he is a great strategist and also posses a moderate form of healing, acquired through his interactions with the gods. History: Chiron was a great Centaur, extraordinarily unlike his kind- where they were savage, brutish and instinctive, he was capable of rational thought, and was a civilized, caring figure. Due to his nature, he was accepted favorably by the gods, and was taught many arts by god Apollo and goddess Diana, such as archery, medicine, the ability to fight, and other noble crafts. He also trained many other heroes, including Achilles and Heracles, who would ultimately, albeit accidentally, kill him. During an attack by the other centaur over the retrieval of wine, Heracles shot down many of them with poison tipped arrows. Unfortunately, because of Chiron’s distance away from his disciple, Heracles could not tell him apart from the other centaurs and shot his dear friend. Chiron was racked with agony; being immortal and unable to die, the poison simply sat in his body and tortured him. He thusly gave up his immortality-- with subsequently allowed for the freeing of Prometheus, as Zeus would free Prometheus if Chiron gave up his immortality. For his nobility in life and death, he received a place amongst the stars as the Sagittarius symbol.

Name: Erebus Arillius Woden Magsire Age: Visibly in his early 20’s Gender: Male Race: Light Elf- A higher race of elves rumored to live in the heavens. Not much is known about them, though many rumors abound- such as Light Elves being highly efficient with magic, and possibly having beautiful white wings. Class: “The Fallen”- A light elf who, knowing the repercussions of practicing Necromancy, delved into other dark arts and became almost entirely consumed by them. Also known as an “ArchDemon”. As rare as the Light Elves are, this branch is even rarer. Alignment: Loyal to “The Necromancer” Company: Erebus currently travels with a highly unstable Necromancer and one of the Necromancer’s undead warriors, Baraccus Rahl. Also, due to his extreme dark energies, his wings, when manifested, are black. He wears a headband with his everyday clothing. He is very defensive of his party members (albeit horridly frightened of the Necromancer at times). He has a righteous streak, destroying or killing most things he finds unjust or “evil” (although, interestingly, he’s never considered killing the Necromancer)- this is probably a physical manifestation of his constant battle against his inner demon. Weapons: Erebus:[The Fell Blades Hugin and Munin]- Both blades can connect into one long dual sided blade. He only wields them with the Dragon Armor- when not donning his armor, he uses a simple katana (which can morph into the Fell Blades), his fists, and his magic. Skuld: Nidhogg- The staff shown in her picture. The various runes on the staff can only be invoked by Skuld, and when invoked, can summon a creature corresponding to the symbol. Freya: Fenris and Fenrir- A pair of silver gauntlets with a wolf crest over the knuckles. Brynhildr: Brisingamen- A necklace with a large emerald in the center that Brynhildr channels her magic through. Hildr: Fafnir- A black flute with a vermilion dragon design on it that Hildr plays to cast magic. Rota: Balmung- A blood red nodachi. Adelle: Tyrfing- When not shape shifting, Adelle wields a long dagger made of a dragon’s fang. Ruby: Gleipnir- A shawl that is draped around Ruby while she dances. Magic: Erebus- Erebus can use his dark magic to create dark versions of the elements- Fell Lightning, Hellfire, Tainted Winds, Desecrated Earth and Vile Frost to name a few. Erebus can also create Akuma- demons made from a concentration of fallen souls or bodies that can act as foot soldiers or "living" bombs. Skuld- Skuld has the ability to summon extraordinarily powerful spirits to do battle for her. Unfortunately, while summoning, she can’t move her own body or perform any actions, so the other party members need to protect her. Freya- Freya doesn’t use magic per se, but while striking at her opponents, the force of her blows release powerful gusts of wind that knock her enemies back. Brynhildr- She uses advanced elemental magic using her necklace as a conduit. She can use magic without it, but it’s much simpler and less powerful. Hildr- Hildr plays the ancient elven songs of power to summon the elements and manipulate them. Also, like her sister, her magic can be used without her conduit- simply by singing- but they are less powerful. Rota- Rota can enhance her blade with the elements. This isn’t any supremely powerful magic, but it adds extra energy to her strikes (I.e. if she channels fire, her enemy gets burned upon impact.) Adelle- Adelle has the ability to transform into different animals, and attacks opponents as such. The transformation period is somewhat lengthy, however, and if she’s struck before finishing, she’ll revert to her original form. Ruby- Ruby dances to generate illusions or influence the moods of her enemies or allies. Writing Sample: Erebus smiled absentmindedly, staring off into the horizon as the Necromancer performed some horrible experiment on a nearby dead body and Baraccus practiced his swordsmanship. The sun was setting, and Baraccus and Erebus had managed to convince their mad leader to allow them to raid a den of vampires. They all had different intentions upon heading in, of course: Erebus wished to eradicate evil, Baraccus was searching for the vampire who killed him, and the Necromancer was interested in finding out what would happen if one attempted to turn a vampire into a simple undead; well, more specifically, he wanted to see how much he could irritate a vampire by removing all of the perks of vampirism. Erebus watched the sun adamantly, his eyes completely undamaged by staring directly at it. After what seemed like an eternity-- most likely augmented by the cries of the not so undead or dead creature behind him-- the sun finally set. Erebus grinned and stood up, turning to his allies. “Ready Baraccus?” Baraccus spun his blade and nodded determinedly. Erebus drew his katana and turned to the dark forest in front of them. He walked up to Baraccus and they treaded into the dark together. The Necromancer called after them. “Tell me when you’re finished so I can begin my experiments!!” Erebus and Baraccus smiled back at him. God forbid he shouldn’t have yelled and alerted all of the vampires to their presence. He always managed to make things more exciting for them. Erebus patted Baraccus on the shoulder and they ran off in opposite directions. Erebus was barely running for a minute before he heard the sound of the snarling creatures. He slid to a halt immediately and barely managed to mow down a lunging vampire with his katana. He quickly slashed again, taking out the three vampires who lunged after the first. Wave after wave bore down on him, and Erebus was only growing in ferocity. He smiled from ear to ear as vampire after vampire fell to his blade. After he had laid waste to a couple legions, he jumped into a tree and sheathed his katana. He held his hand out, and a blood red glow engulfed it. “Hellfire!” He lit the bodies ablaze, keeping them from reviving. The fire illuminated the forest well, and he could see legions of Vampires running towards him. He frowned and jumped from the tree, eyeing his opponents warily. He shrugged carelessly and held up his hand again. This time, the aura around his right hand switched from black to metallic gray, and soon it became encased in metal, and the metal slowly spread across his body, forming armor piece by piece. Soon, all of his body save his head was covered in a metallic gray suit with silver-white designs. A dim outline of his helmet formed in his hand, and he placed the outline onto his head. His eyes flashed, and the metal filled into the outline. His aura changed yet again, this time to a fierce golden color, and golden lightning generated in his hand. The Vampires sprung onto him, and his voice erupted from his helmet. “Fell lightning!” A Couple of minutes later… Erebus walked slowly out of the forest, still in his armor, with a vampire body strewn over his shoulders. He walked up to the Necromancer and plopped the body in front of him, then collapsed onto the floor, his armor falling off and dissolving around him. A little while after, Baraccus strolled out of the forest, dragging a vampire by it’s leg. He, too, tossed the body at the necromancer, then sat down and relaxed. Erebus chuckled and looked over to Baraccus, pretending to breathe heavily as if out of breath. “Was that good for you too?” Baraccus growled at Erebus, though he couldn’t help but grin slightly as the Necromancer fell over, hysterical with laughter.

The scar system and character portraits sound like a lot of win, but I'm kind of torn over the implementation of the Spars between characters. I agree wholeheartedly on the spars taking place in multiple separate threads, but I don't think 1 post per character is sufficient- at least not in every occasion. I mean, maybe one character decides to enter into a brief altercation with another, as a distraction or something, and then 1 post each would make sense-- sort of like a hit and run. On the other hand, maybe a character (say, the Endless) is specifically hunting another character, and is thus removed from the events of the RP itself anyways. Then, I think 3 posts each makes a little more sense. Maybe we should have certain parameters for spars (i.e. How many posts, post length, objectives, etc...).

Earlier that evening? Nero had been somewhat disheartened by not being able to deliver Seraphim?s message directly to K, but, alas, there were things he needed to tend to. Most prominent of his chores was finding a place that he could blow up, while causing the least amount of human casualties. Unlike his vampire brethren, he treated the humans with a good deal of respect and preferred, if possible, to let them live any chance her got. That, of course, seems somewhat contradictory to the purpose of setting a bomb. Nero chuckled slightly at that as he walked back to his dwelling to gather the numerous explosives he had on hand. In all fairness, his goal wasn?t entirely unviable or ridiculous-- so long as he could attract a mass amount of humans to a single area so that they would bare witness to the massive explosion and suffer minimal damage, the mission would be a success; and the bounty hunters would just assume that his obviously ?inferior? vampire logic had simply caused him to detonate the bomb at the wrong time. He laughed again, this time a little harder than before, attracting the attention of some nearby vampires. They glared disgustedly at him, then went back to their conversation. Nero merely sighed. He was used to that, the dirty glares and all. He did seem a bit un-vampiric. He didn?t enjoy feeding on humans, he would much sooner kill a vampire than a human, he wasn?t immortal and he was part werewolf. Probably the best combination a supernatural creature could have if he wanted to remain ostracized or potentially slaughtered by one of his teammates during the night. He quickly snapped back to attention, realizing he had finished packing the suitcases full of bombs and grabbing a myriad of grenades. He smiled as he tossed one back and forth between his hands. "Just because I?m not out to kill doesn?t mean I can?t cause some good ol? mayhem.? At that, Nero?s personal squadron came barging into the room, bowing to their master upon entry. Nero shook his head, amused, and turned to them, signaling for them to rise. He looked to the leader of his squadron, Azure Dragon. The members of his squadron, the Four Heavenly Kings, though commonly just called the Heavenlys, were named after the mythological creatures corresponding with the five elements: Azure Dragon Seiryuu was the leader of the squadron, a tall, thin, and handsome Japanese vampire with blue streaks in his hair; Vermillion Bird Suzaku was next, an attractive short and fiery red headed Spaniard vampire; then White Tiger Byakko, a beautiful, calm and reserved English vampire with wavy long black hair; and finally was Black Tortoise Genbu. A gorgeous, cheery, light skinned girl of African decent with shoulder length black hair and one single green streak in her bangs. Nero himself was the Yellow Dragon Ouryu. ?What?s the update Seiryuu?? Azure smiled awkwardly, shaking his head in amusement as he handed his master the flyer in his hand. He spoke to him, attempting to stifle his laughter. ?We handed out the flyers to the humans, Ouryu Nero.? Nero chuckled as he grabbed the flyer and looked it over. He had had his squadron make posters containing information about a sale occurring in the local mall in a nearby town, ensuring that there would be plenty of witnesses when the bombs detonated. The whole process of printing up fliers and posting them around town had been extraordinarily tedious, yet infinitely amusing for Nero and the Heavenlys. He crumpled up his flyer and tossed it into a nearby trash can, then motioned over for each of the Heavenly?s to grab a bomb. He had regained his composure and was once again speaking like their superior. ?Make sure to set the detonators for five seconds after the bomb preceding it-- Seiryuu?s bomb first, then Genbu?s, then Suzaku?s, then Byakko?s. The moment you?ve positioned the bomb, quickly survey the perimeter of the area and alert me as to any possible hindrances or complications to our plan. Understood? Then go.? His squadron departed wordlessly, and he, too, fled into the night air. Currently? Nero couldn?t help but laugh hysterically as he watched from a rooftop nearby as the mall security attempt to keep out rabid shoppers from the stores. The mall manager was attempting to yell at them something about the whole situation being a misunderstanding; unfortunately for him, no one was willing to listen to his explanation, and the crowd continued to rowdily demand that they be let in. Nero almost fell over when he saw one of the hopeful shoppers toss something heavy- the lady?s husband?s shoe, to be exact- at the managers head. Four rustles of air around him brought him back to attention, so he stood up and straightened himself out in front of the Heavenlys. ?Report?? Seiryuu bowed and began speaking. ?The bombs are secured, my lord. However, there is something interesting you might worth noting. Remember that bounty hunter you?d heard so much about? A Ms. Alabaster Crowe? Well?? Seiryuu motioned to behind Nero. Nero nodded with understanding, then quickly motioned for his team to disperse. A deep, feminine voice from behind him grabbed his attention. ?Nero Egrias!? Nero spun around quickly to greet the woman, wearing a large and sincere smile as their eyes locked. ?Ms. Crowe! How nice for you to join us. Come for the fireworks? I do find these events to be dreadfully boring without a comp--? The sound of a whip hitting stone ended Nero?s sentence. A serious Alabaster drew her rapier on Nero, her words emerging cold and venomously. ?You are a danger to the vampires and humans alike. I won?t rest until I?ve eliminated you and all of your scourge clan.? Nero sucked his teeth and crossed his arms, pretending to contemplate what she?d just said. He did so for a couple minutes, much to Alabaster?s chagrin, before looking down to his watch and grinning. He then swiftly drew his katana and assumed a battle stance. ?You know, I?d much rather that we went out to dinner together. I mean, I?ve already prepared a show?? As his sentence finished, the first explosion went off behind him, decimating a large amount of the block. He could hear the frenzied screams and cries of the humans and the second, third, and fourth bombs went off and they attempted to stay clear of the flying debris. Alabaster looked at Nero with disgust, then charged him vehemently. Nero smiled and readied himself. ?Have at it, then!? * OOC: I hope you don't mind our characters having a confrontation, Nessaja.

So, my sign-up has been posted, and I hope everything is in order. I was looking to create a character that would be Elle's predecessor- something along the lines of Bob viewing the gradual progression of my character's ability and deciding to forcefully accelerate Elle's gift. If you think that's tampering too much, let me know. Also, I'm hoping that if accepted, DeLarge and I can have a face-off.

Basic Information Name: Leon Dietrich Age: 22 Gender: Male Appearance: [Leon] Leon’s physical appearance is actually fairly reflective of his power-- he is fair skinned, his black hair is naturally wild even when groomed, and even though his eyes are dark blue and somewhat hidden behind thick, square-rimmed glasses, they are extraordinarily vibrant and captivating. He stands at 6’1’’ and is relatively thin, weighing 73 kg. (roughly 162 lbs). He is of mixed heritage, German and Spanish, and though he looks more German, he has no distinguishable accent. His usual attire is: a black with thin white stripes button up, collared t-shirt; two black wristbands with golden skulls; silvery black jeans; checkered vans; a silver thunderbolt earring; and pair of black and gold DJ headphones. Details Motives: Leon is fueled most noticeably by a combination of personal redemption and, quite frankly, boredom. Leon has always been an insomniac, and the restlessness associated with his disorder led to his unfortunate accident; unable to adequately sleep he would venture out into the night and would often find himself in confrontations with gangs which he would attempt to heroically, and naively, confront. In the worst of all of the conflicts he was assaulted and struck squarely in the side of his head, receiving severe brain trauma and falling into a coma. Since his recovery and discovery by the company, he’s determined to use his constantly conscience state as an advantage for the company against renegade gifted humans. Also, pretty much unbeknown to his co-workers, Leon sees those with powers as either Gods or Demons, tasked either to save or destroy the world around them. Having accidentally put hundreds of lives in danger due to his “rebirth”, he’s adamant about proving to himself that he was brought back to do good. Alignment: Good Powers and Personality Power: Electric Manipulation and Discharge- Leon can generate electricity (the exact extent of which is unknown right now) and release it in electrical arcs for a variety of functions. So far, Leon has only generated one powerful burst of electricity that “supercharged” his mind, then spread from his body and supercharged the hospital; since awakening and he’s begun testing his ability and been attempting to hone it. He can generate anywhere between a mild electric shock to a mildly forceful stun like blast which releases from his palms. He can also use his ability to power electronics without batteries. The more powerful the blast is, the more physical strain is placed on his body. His ability has also cemented his insomnia- he lacks the ability to sleep for anything longer than a “cat nap” due to the heightened activity of his brain. Personality: Leon‘s personality has become more erratic since the manifestation of his powers. His “consistent current” personality is friendly, gentlemanly and highly energetic, and he’s often prone to performing some form of physical activity, such as squats, running laps around a room, or sending electric bolts between his hands. However, like a power surge, Leon’s emotions will occasionally deviate substantially; he can become intensely depressed, angry and quick to act on instinct, or detached and apathetic. Weapon: N/A The History of You Discovery: The nurse led Leon’s parents into the room, so that they might see their son one last time before they made their fateful decision. He had been in his coma for months, and the doctors had just pronounced him brain dead, and wished to know what the family desired to do with their son. His mother wept profusely, burying her head into her husband’s chest upon sight of her son. His father’s voice escaped meekly from his mouth, barely audible to the doctors. “Are… are you sure there’s nothing that can be done?” The doctor nodded remorsefully, pulling his mask down to speak to the heartbroken parents. “His body is entirely unresponsive.” The mother’s weeping grew louder at this, and his father clenched her tightly to him. He stared at his son intently, his grief overcoming him, and he rushed to his son’s bed, grabbing him by the shoulders and shaking him violently, despite the attempts by the doctors to restrain him. He yelled desparedly, tears streaming freely down his face. “You jackass, you little ungrateful shit, we did everything for you, you had everything, you threw it all away, you’re gone now, you’re gone, you’re gone… oh God you‘re gone!” Energy expended he collapsed onto his son’s chest and hugged him tightly. The doctors released him now, allowing him his moment of sorrow. The mother walked over and hugged her son and her husband jointly, attempting to comfort her husband and to prepare herself for the choice they would have to make. She could not accept the situation herself, however, and she quickly became so overwhelmed that she sprang up and rushed out of the room. Leon’s father raced after herm fearful of what she might do to herself. To his relief, she had stopped at a nearby window, and was staring outside, half sobbing and half entranced. She turned to him and pointed to the outside world as if in a trance, her voice absentmindedly flittering from her mouth. “Both sons are gone only momentarily; hidden for a moment but soon reborn in full grandeur.” Her husband quickly ran to her side, frightened for her well being. Her eyes moved back to the world beyond the window, and he followed her gaze. Outside, an eclipse was ending; something about this eclipse sent shudders down his spine. He had no time to admire the eclipse or even tend to his wife, though-- the moment the eclipse ended, the lights in the hospital surged and became glaringly bright, then shattered simultaneously. From all around him he could hear shouts of fear and panic, and he quickly knew the reason; every machine had become supercharged as well and had shut down. The panic settled into him as well. He spun around to his wife and gripped her shoulders, terrified. “Leon!” He bounded down the hallways as fast as he possibly could, sweat pouring down his face. What if something had happened to his son? He didn’t say goodbye, he needed to say goodbye… He burst into the room at full speed, and in one moment his heart went from beating savagely against his chest to being as still as the dead. He crept over to his son’s bedside, entirely disbelieving of what his eyes were telling him. But a closer glance, a second glance, and then a third one confirmed it. His son was gone.

I like the sign-up sheet, but I do have one question: For the alignment part, would Good, Bad, or Unsure explain our motives behind working for the company? Like, a "Good" character would honestly believe that trapping Evolved Humans and keeping them detained was the right thing to do, a "Bad" character would just be in it for the violence and personal gain, and an "Unsure" would be tormented by the moral ambiguity of what his job entails? Otherwise, like I said, that sign-up sheet looks great. I can't think of anything else that needs to be added, but if I can think of something, I'll post it. If there's any other way I can help, let me know. =D

I'm definitely down- Heroes has become my main obsession lately, haha, and I've finally got some down time from school and my family. But I have a question: If we explored the creation of the Company, or the early days, would the existing Heroes characters who worked for the company [Maury Parkman, Angela Petrelli, Adam Monroe, etc...] cameo? Or would it be like an alternate time line Company? Either way, count me in. =D

He's good with firearms, but doesn't usually carry any on him- he prefers to pilfer them from his opponents.

I can answer that question, Nessaja. =] "Rogues" was the original term we had picked for the Harbingers, and absentmindedly forgot to change during editing of the Theater thread, so they are one and the same. The "Counter Rogues" can actually be from either side in the war- pro feeding on humans or anti feeding on humans- but their task is, specifically, to try and eliminate the Harbingers. Bounty hunters are most likely aligned with those who are anti-feeding on human blood, and their tasks would be to eliminate rebel vampires and Harbingers. I hope that clearly answers your questions. If you have any more concerns or suggestions, please feel free to contact me or The Endless. We're glad to see you're interested.

Name: Nero Egrias Age: 19th Century Gender: Male Species: Vampire Wolf- The child of a Vampire bitten by a mature werewolf. This process is extraordinarily taboo, and all other creatures of this kind are annihilated within a day of their birth. Seraphim, having protected Nero since youth, has spared Nero this fate. Alliance: The Harbingers [Lieutenant] Appearance:[Nero 1] [Nero Outfit] Nero is both a striking and comforting figure to behold- both a man and a savage in appearance alone. Looking to be no more than 19 years of age, and standing at 6’1’’ Nero is not imposing, but his presence is forceful. His thin, muscular body isn’t out rightly daunting, but does give others a notion of how powerful he is. His short, light gray hair and crystal clear dark blue eyes are stunning compliments, even though his eyes are usually covered by thin, rectangular rimmed glasses. Where his gray hair reveals the “Wolf” inside of him, his long, pointed fangs reflect his Vampire half more than his Wolf have, despite what most think- no matter which form he’s in, biting a living creature will secrete the Vampire poison, not the werewolf one. He always wears the outfit shown above, and after his transformations, Seraphim always brings him a new one. Personality: Nero is, seemingly, a polar opposite to his mentor, Seraphim. He is caring, kindly towards humans, and relatively care-free. He’s very agreeable and jovial, and the other members of his coven who have managed to look past their fear, contempt, or jealousy of him find that his presence is sincerely enjoyable. Nero is extraordinarily loyal to his coven, even those who would see him staked and dead- and he is unwaveringly loyal and faithful to Seraphim. He knows of his status as the “secret weapon” and he accepts it readily. He wants nothing more than to be useful and helpful for his coven. This all, of course, is not to say he is easily walked on- Nero will refuse any order or request he sees unjust or pointless, and will even display discontent with Seraphim’s plans if he sees fit, something the other member wouldn’t dream of doing- or that he is any less of a fighter than his comrades. In all honesty, he could hold his own against Seraphim for a good deal of time, though he would surely face defeat by the man; thus making him clearly second strongest of the Harbingers and rightfully feared by rival clans. Weapons: [The Harbinger of Sorrows] Nero often sports this katana and a 98 FS Berretta handgun when traveling or performing a job [more the former situation than the latter]. Other than that, his fangs, claws, and lightning are his weapons. Unique Power: Lightening- Nero can generate powerful bursts of electric energy, to use in: charging machinery, short circuiting machinery, stunning or killing his opponents, to “supercharge” his attacks, and for dramatic use. However, he needs a conduit to channel and focus the energy inside of him; if he takes it off, the energy leaks out, uncontrolled. When in his Vampire form, he can utilize his lightening to it’s fullest, most lethal extent; however, in his wolf form this ability loses a substantial amount of power, reduced to electric jolts and charging his lunges. Also, the angrier he is as a wolf, the more difficult it is to aim his lightening. Transformation- Oddly, due to the conflicting “monster serums” in his blood stream, his transformed state is much more akin to a wolf than normal werewolves, the only difference being he is noticeably larger than an average wolf and has silvery gray hair. Writing Sample: Nero bolted along the rooftop of the house, his quick steps barely making a noise as he stalked his prey. Even in his Vampire form he ran like the “Wolves”; Seraphim had often made humorous comments on the matter. Well, he did this time, and Nero had been told he did so the other times as well- but it didn’t really matter to Nero. He could only remember what was happening now. He had learnt to deal with this unfortunate situation by simply accepting that. He stopped quickly, simply to recover the smell, then continued pursuit. He felt somewhat remorseful for what was about to be done. Supposedly he had done this millions of times before as well, though he knew for certain he had done it only twice this time, this being the second event. His prey swiftly changed course, attempting to throw Nero off of his lead. The chase was beginning to agitate Nero- though he was born a Vampire and crowned a “Wolf” he never had much taste for being the hunter. He simply wanted to catch this lower vampire and feed on it. He needed to elongate his usefulness for Seraphim, because in all honesty, regardless of his abilities, a mortal vampire was detrimental and potentially dangerous to his plans. Nero tore away from his thoughts the moment he heard his prey stop in hesitation. He couldn’t help but grin as he sprung down from below and cornered the Vampire against the alley wall. The vampire sneered angrily. “What? You going to kill me? Well bring it then!” The vampire quickly grabbed a stake from his belt and flung it at Nero. Before it hit, however, there was a flash of blue light, and the sound of splintering wood echoed around them. Nero sighed heavily before raising up his right hand, displaying a smoking silver ring on his middle finger. Instead of being shocked or amazed, the vampire’s face became more disgusted, more venomous. “So you’re one of those freaks.” Nero tilted his head back and laughed hysterically, almost unable to keep from falling over. The vampire, irritated, scoffed at him. “What’s so funny?” His laughing continued for another minute before he was finally able to recompose himself. He had to hunch over and rest his hands on his knees as he recovered his breath. The vampire took this as his opportunity, but before he could so much as lung forward, an electric bolt struck him squarely in the chest, knocking him back against the wall. A still jovial Nero responded to the wounded vampire. “Hahaha, you have no idea how much of a freak I am.” The vampire glared up at him from the floor, and, suddenly, fear settled into his eyes. He could see that Nero’s demeanor had changed entirely, and he was once again overcome by the terror he’d felt while he was trying to escape the monster. He was hunched over like a predator, teeth exposed in a terrifying snarl, and claws fully outstretched, slowly stalking towards him. The vampire attempted to flee, pressing himself closer and closer to the wall. “What are y--” He couldn’t even finish his sentence, let alone open his mouth to scream before Nero was upon him, his ravenous fangs ripping the vampire’s neck open.

Faust sat in silence as his mobile suit drifted, powerless, through space. He had barely managed to escape from Golden Echelons Inc. before The Judge Senate had flooded the building. He didn?t know how, but they had found enough evidence against the company- enough evidence to use force to take them all in. The manager had alerted his division first, but he refused to escape before his comrades. He had watched them escape, but there was no way to know where they had fled to; getting in contact with them was far too dangerous, it could possibly reveal his or his allies location. He pushed his glasses up and sighed heavily, looking over the walls of the cockpit. ?Damnit? What do we do now?? He wasn?t expecting an answer, but was shocked to receive one; his mobile suit sprang to life immediately after his sentence finished. He laughed and shook his head with amusement, strapping himself into the cockpit. ?Alright. Where are we going buddy?? The monitor brought up files of Greg and Draco, then the location of a previous home used by Faust that was no longer on record in the Golden Echelon?s database, and thus not at risk of discovery. Faust thought it over quickly, but shook his head in disagreement. ?What about you? That house is a good location, you?re correct. However, I can?t exactly use a company oriented docking pad to hide you. Unfortunately, it would be just as unwise to regroup directly with Greg and Draco?? The monitor quickly discarded the image of his house, but the other two images remained. Faust laughed and nodded. The engines sprang to life and rocketed him towards the Scavenger HQ. He pressed Draco?s picture on the screen, linking to their secure line. He waited a moment before Draco?s voice erupted from the speakers, and his face appeared on the screen. ?Faust! I?m surprised you made it out okay. I?d heard they?d begun a raid of Golden Echelons.? Faust grinned and nodded at him. ?Most of my boys managed to escape, but I am worried for the higher ups in the company. Given a little slack, the Judge Senate can go a long way. But you won?t need to fret. The records of your organization, as well as the other rebel groups has been annihilated.? Draco chuckled darkly. ?Unfortunately, you?re not in the clear. They?ve pinned a wanted label on you.? Faust started in surprise. Wanted?? He remained speechless for a while. Draco spoke up again. ?I?m sorry, comrade. What is your next plan of action?? Faust thought quickly. On the run, he certainly, certainly would be expected to regroup with his comrades- thus putting the rebels at greater danger regardless of whether he was actually with them or not, At least in their vicinity, he could assist them against the onslaught the Judge Senate would bring. And he could prepare for the next battle against him. He would be ready for Tendou. Draco?s voice flittered to his ears again. ?Faust?? Faust quickly came to, and increased his acceleration. ?Expect me at your HQ soon. We need to regroup and prepare. This isn?t over yet.? ***** OOC: I'm sorry for the substandard post. It's early. I wanted to laugh when I saw that image... But instead, I found myself following Gavin's lead. Sadly, even the phrase "Epic Fail" would be too lenient, and hell, would be giving too much credit to what they've done here. And you know what that is? Yes, you guessed it, ruined the lives of fans and those unfortunate enough to watch the movie, and forever mar the memory of Dragonball. But hey, maybe I'm wrong! Maybe modern viewers unfamiliar with the Dragonball franchise [those few people who have never heard the word dragon or ball, let alone used in the same sentence] will enjoy this hybrid Dragonball-Star Trek-cheesy action movie. Maybe they'll dig Vampire King Piccolo and Great Alien Fish Goku. Maybe I'll walk into the theater, fears and all, and will come out... Hmm... and will come out. Dear lord I can't stop staring at that image... And Gavin's absolutely right. The only redeeming quality of this movie would be if Matthew Broderick and Nathan Lane [not whoever is producing this movie] get a 100 million dollars from this. =D
