I played back in...well, uh, whatever year it came out. ^_^ I believe I was 6 or 7 when it did, though.[/color][/size][/font] [font=Arial][size=1][color=#483d8b]I was very intrigued by the thing when we first bought it. I believe the first game I actually played on it was Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, but, the first game I played might have been one of those Demo discs that they give out every so often at stores and if that was the case then the first game I played on the demo disc was some kind of war game (not sure what it was called). I also played Doom on it (actually, that might have been the very first one I played), but I got more enjoyment by watching my dad play it and helping him out when he was stuck or if he missed something important (I've always been like that, preferring to watch other people play some games rather than play them myself).[/color][/size][/font]

The large purple bat flew out over the arena. ?[i]Golbat![/i]? it screeched as it swooped down over Miltank. Cass yelled out an attack. "Golbat! Use Confuse Ray!" she commanded. Golbat focused on Miltank. A ball of supersonic waves collected in front of Golbat, Golbat then used its wings to blow the ball down towards Miltank. Miltank had no time to avoid it, the attack hit it dead on.[/color][/color][/size][/font] [font=Arial][size=1][color=#4e387a][color=#483d8b][/color][/color][/size][/font] [font=Arial][size=1][color=#4e387a][color=#483d8b]Miltank stumbled around, very confused and unable to perform its signature move, Rollout. "Good job, Golbat! Now use Bite!" Cass commanded and Golbat swooped down. It latched onto Miltanks neck and bit down hard, causing Miltank significant damage. "Now! Finish it off with Wing Attack and then Leech Life!" Golbat released its grip from Miltank and then smacked it with its wings a few times. Then her Cyndaquil jumped up as Golbat swooped down. Cyndaquil grabbed onto Golbat's leg with its mouth. Golbat lowered itself so that it was only two feet from the ground before shaking Cyndaquil off and flying after Eevee. Cass laughed all the while. As Kayla did so, she opened up a link so Kia could also see around the room through the webcam. Instead, I am going to ask you three to leave my office and to never come back. "Gee Legato," Mai said, in between eating a hot dog and a hamburger, "You're really generous to order us the [i]entire[/i] menu!" She said and Kayla burst out laughing. "He sure is. Maybe he'll buy me another gun later..." she mumbled the last part, but Legato still heard. "Maybe I will, maybe I wont. Or, why don't you just buy your own damn gun?" Kayla frowned, but ignored it as she pulled out her gun and began stroking it, muttering [i]my precious...[/i][/color][/size][/font] [font=Arial][size=1][color=#483d8b][/color][/size][/font] [font=Arial][size=1][color=#483d8b]After about three and a half hours or so, all of the food had been eaten, and everyone was ready to head to a hotel for the night. As they left the resturant, Nick spotted a saloon. "Hey! Why don't we all go out drinkin'?" he suggested. Mai immediately nodded. "I could go for a 'few' drinks." she said. Kayla nodded as well. "Why not?" she said. Vash and Legato were the only others who decided to go. Kayla stared over at the three, as they were drinking out of actual cups and not the bottles of wine themselves. "What? Do you three think that this is some kind of tea party?" she said, with a large drunken slur. Mai laughed. She stumbled over near Legato, tripped over her own feet and landed on top of Legato, which sent him tumbling off of his bar stool and onto the floor. Her mother, father, and two younger siblings walked out from other rooms. "Oh, yeah, and we're going to have a few house guests for awhile..." she mumbled and Mai laughed at the scene in front of her. "Aw, so emotional. Kayla asked, the question directed towards Kite. He nodded courageously and then charged into battle, slashing at Skeith. Kia and Kana did the same, each using the skills that their weapons gave them, to try and inflict damage upon Skeith.[/color][/size][/font] [font=Arial][size=1][color=#483d8b][/color][/size][/font] [font=Arial][size=1][color=#483d8b]Kayla stood back and used a few scrolls on Skeith. She was a Wavemaster so she had a lot of SP, but she figured that it was better to use up her scrolls rather than to waste her SP using Magic. That SP might be needed later in the battle to heal her friends if they were weak.[/color][/size][/font] [font=Arial][size=1][color=#483d8b][/color][/size][/font] [font=Arial][size=1][color=#483d8b]"Vak Kruz!" she shouted and small fireballs slammed into Skeith. Kia, Kana, and Kite all shouted out attack commands, but none of the attacks seemed to be even harming Skeith the slightest bit. "What's with this thing? Why wont it die?" Kana demanded just as Skeith used a Magical Attack on her. Kayla quickly healed her, she was Paralyzed, with an Antidote.[/color][/size][/font] [font=Arial][size=1][color=#483d8b][/color][/size][/font] [font=Arial][size=1][color=#483d8b]Kana thanked her and continued fighting. It hadn't took them very long to get from Littleroot to Oldale, it wasn't all too far. The other four nodded, staring around at all of the Pokemon that were owned by the residents of Oldale Town. There were so many of them, so many different kinds. Some Pokemon were easily recognizable, as the Trainers had seen them before, others were completely unknown to them.[/color][/size][/font] [font=Arial][size=1][color=#483d8b][/color][/size][/font] [font=Arial][size=1][color=#483d8b]After showing the Trainers around Oldale Town, Kayla led them over to the Pokemon Center, where a woman who worked at the PokeMart was standing around, waiting for new Trainers. As the group approached, she introduced herself. "Hello! I work at the PokeMart here in town! I'd feel much oblidged to show you where the PokeMart is and what kinds of things we sell." she explained and began walking off towards the PokeMart.[/color][/size][/font] [font=Arial][size=1][color=#483d8b][/color][/size][/font] [font=Arial][size=1][color=#483d8b]Kayla pushed the four Trainers along. "C'mon now, follow her, she'll give you a free gift if you listen to her!" she said and the four finally ran to catch up with her. Hell, it was probably Lios who wrote it I bet you, or who said it to the press atleast." Kayla said and Katsuki nodded. "Yeah, I bet he did say it, the stupid thumb-twiddling Pig Head." she said and the two burst out laughing.[/color][/size][/font]

Now, the dilemna that Hoenn is being faced with is that Team Aqua, you've all heard of Team Aqua, right?" she questioned and the group nodded, having heard about them when they were younger. "Well, three years ago, Professor Birch's two kids, Brandon and May, defeated Team Aqua and Team Magma. The two Team's disappeared for a few years, only to resurface a few months ago. Team Aqua is once again attempting to change Hoenn by increasing the amount of water and Team Magma attempting to stop them. I heard about it and decided to try and stop them. Kayla recalled her Dodrio before she began walking towards her home. She barely noticed the large gathering of people over near the Pokemon Lab. She was more concerned about going home and visiting her mother and father. As she neared her home, a Trainer approached her and requested to battle. ?Kayla! Battle me, will you? I want to practice against a High-Skilled Trainer before I head off to the Pokemon League!? he said and Kayla shook her head. ?Sorry, I really just want to go home. Maybe later, Ricky.? she replied and he walked away sullenly. Kayla smiled slightly as she walked the last few steps to her house. She took a deep breath before opening the door and walking in. She glanced around. ?Mom, Dad, I?m home.? she announced and closed door behind her as she slipped off her shoes. She called out her mom and dad again before quickly running upstairs to check for them. Upon finding that they were no where to be found in the house, she remembered the small gathering outside the Pokemon Lab. ?Ah, that?s where they probably are.? Kayla concluded and headed back downstairs. She slipped her shoes back on and walked outside, heading towards the Pokemon Lab. As she approached the crowd, she heard cheering and chanting of Trainer?s names. Kayla made her way towards the front of the crowd, politely excusing herself past the few people in the back but as she made her way towards the front, the crowd seemed to part for her. The cheering quieted slightly as Kayla walked through the crowd. A few people congratulated her for beating Steven and taking up the position as Pokemon League Champion, others tried to challenge her to a battle, while still others didn?t say anything at all, but looked on at her, envious. She smiled to the crowd as she passed them and smiled wider as she spotted her parents near the front of the crowd. They waved to her and yelled their congratulations. She yelled her thanks back, before finally making it to the front of the crowd and walking the last few steps through the laboratory?s double doors. She knew what was going on. The cheering crowd, the whole town being there. Today was the day that the new trainers were receiving their Pokemon and starting their Pokemon journeys. It was a comemorable event, very exciting and important. Kayla still remembered the day she got her first Pokemon. She had asked for it specially, and had even waited a few extra days for it to be captured for her. She was the very last of the other three Trainers to start out on her Pokemon journey. That had made no difference to her, she still became a great Trainer, obviously. Kayla walked towards the back of the lab and found Professor Birch talking to four new Trainers. She, not wanting to interrupt, sat down at a small table and watched as Professor Birch addressed the four. Kayla stopped listening after a moment and looked at what was on the table in front of her. There were four Pokedexes and five Pokeballs next to each Pokedex. Kayla had another reminisce about when she had received her first Pokemon, Pokedex and her first five Pokeballs. Yes, receiving your first Pokemon was something that you never forgot.
