Me? I don't like coffee. Or tea. Why? I don't know, being 16, everyone else is drinking them by now. But not me. I think the reason being is because I 'objected' to the fact that 11 year old kids were drinking coffee and talking about how much they like places like Starbucks. I just found it irattating, because many of them I'm sure where just trying to be 'adults'.
I gotta agree with you there. I'm 18 and I've only been drinking coffee a couple years. It can be pretty bad for you inexcess, so I don't know why kids want to start on it so young. I think a lot of kids drink it because coffee has a cult following; it's almost like heroin for some of my friends. Scary... :nervous: But tea is actually quite good for you! Green tea is the best, with many great health benefits.

I've heard that cartilege piercings (upper ear) are supposed to hurt more than lower piercings, like the common ones. My friend told me you hear a crunch! when it's done. Mmm... Crunchy. :tasty:

Yeah, the only reason I live is coffee. Man, if there wasn't coffee, I woulda offed myself AGES ago! ;) So...people out there with cappucino machines...do the drinks you make turn out as well as a coffee shop's? How much are these golden beakers of hyperactivity?

Whoo! Red-hot naughtiness! Hope this doesn't get locked on you! (Maybe in the future, you should label your post Mature!) I don't really like Inu Yasha, just thought I'd comment on the graphic nature. Not that graphic nature bothers me in the slightest. If you watch hentai, feel free to PM Milo! I'm into reviews of such films!

Deep stuff, m'dear... But what about reincarnation? According to many religions (including mine), people continue to live many lives as different people until they learn a special somethin'. (Maybe we're all learning something right now!) Then they're reincarnated to learn more, and more until... Nirvana. (Then what? That's what I wonder about!) Oh, well. I got a long way to go until I hit Nirvana. (We'll worry about that later, right?) I know how you feel (thread starter). I've thought about this a lot. I think everyone does. But Mother Nature's got it under control. She recycles. ;)

This is sort of a silly post! I suppose these haters of school would have really enjoyed living in the Dark Ages, right? I mean, repression and unenlightenment are TOTALLY the "in" thing, right guys? Yup, and according to history classes which haters of school must skip and/or sleep through, the Dark Ages were a really great time to be alive. Ah, yes...and all because of a lack of education. Hell, why don't we just build a freakin' time machine and head on back there! Whoo! Screw school! Yeah, let's get crackin' on that time machine... Oh, wait. There's nobody around here who knows how to MAKE a time machine. Know why? 'Cause they never went to school!

I'm into metal as well. However, I'm not big on the piercings. I just have both ears pierced twice--four holes total. I wanted my tongue pierced, but the whole possibility of having my face paralyzed kinda turned me off... :p However, I have no problem with piercings. 'Cept for torture purposes... I'll stop now.

Name: Adar Greenwood Age: Really, really old Race: Pure elf (he prides himself on this) Appearance: Very tall and slim, very pale blonde hair, fiery green eyes, very sharp ears and pale skin. Obviously a nobleman. Has a tendency to wear the color blue with gold gilding?all the time. (He?s so egotistical!!) Abilities: Skilled in swords and magic use (blue is the color of his energy, FYI). Has an oddly powerful charisma when needed? Weapons: A very long katana, garishly decorated with intricate gold scrollwork. Keeps it at his side. He can also summon a second copy of this katana using magic. It?s blue and pretty! :love2: Background: Adar has had the privilege of growing up a nobleman. He was rather spoiled as a child (oh, who am I kiddin?? He? s a brat!!), and has acquired a high status where he is from. Of course, riches follow with such a position. Personality: Haughty, rude, arrogant, vain, and cold. He very rarely takes a liking to anyone, but ONE of you may get lucky? (?Specially if you?re a pure-blooded, sexy elven babe! :D ) Supporting Characters: Mystic Greenwood, his wife. Their marriage was arranged, so both are rather unhappy with the situation. While Adar attends many elven brothels, Mystic is forced to stay home and be a very bored noblewoman. Mystic is flawlessly kind, polite, and sweet, so gets along with her husband terribly. I?ll be looking forward to your sign-ups, adventurers! Milo :whoops:

"Yes, Mario. Yes, yes, I'm doing quite well, actually." Blocky sighed. He was currently speaking with Mario on the TetrisPhone (it's a square, navy blue telephone that fits conveniently into a block formation near the ear area, making for easy speaking). "Well, Mario, I have actually discovered a portal that will assist us in our quest. Yes, Mario, yes; it is a portal to...the outside world." Blocky continued to explain the situation in which he found the portal; it was actually due to recent knockoff Nintendo games appearing on Macs all over. And, being a Mac, someone punched its stupid, screeny face in, forming a sizeable hole in the screen, making for easy escape. "Once everyone makes it to your place, Mario, bring 'em nextdoor to Tetris. We'll have a few drinks, relax, unwind. Then we can kick some 3-D game tooshie." :box:

Okay, I think I?d love to be in this. I?m a Tetris/Pac-man addict who wanted to play a challenging character. Hence? ------------------------------- Name: Talking Block (just go with it ^__^). Initial Game: Tetris Description: A large magenta block formation that is shaped like an L. Each block in the formation (there are five) is about three feet tall, making the overall formation around nine feet tall. Dimensions are as follows: O O O O O This amazing, prodigious block formation can speak, eat (like a glutton, mind you), and kick some major tooshie-kins! (No, there?s nothin? cute about the word ?tooshie-kins? when it?s comin? out of a big ol? nine-foot block!) Bio: Talking Block has been severely offended by his shunning. Children would rather play those new ?modern? games. Tetris?s only fans now are 40 year olds who remember the good old days. Ravaged and assaulted with hate, Tetris feels like scattered dust in the wind and it?s Blocky?s (that?s his nickname) turn to put in some good ideas for a new game. Blocky can add a lot of charisma to the group, as he is an excellent conversationalist. (Especially over a hot cup of tea. He?s also got these little glasses?ahem!) :excited:

I think Inu Yasha?s face needs a bit more work; his eyes are rather close together and a bit too large. You shaded his hair pretty well, however. Did you look at anything? His sword may also be a bit crooked. The guard seems a bit lop-sided. Did you use a ruler? Because on weaponry, I would advise it strongly. The second picture is a little better. The eyes are more well-placed, I like the shading of the hair. The eyes are almost glowing (mostly her left eye?looks like the other got a bit smudged. Too bad. :( ). I don?t mean to be critical; these are just my suggestions! Keep drawing! Milo

Art My Banners (Yeah, I bet you get tired of seeing these....)
Milo replied to Fyxe's topic in Creative Works
Just so you know, I'm more of a drawing-type artist as opposed to a PhotoShop type, so this post will probably be mostly on the composition value of your sketch and color scheme. (I?m no technical genius; trust me! :P ) Okay, I really like your color scheme (the purple, yellow, and red). It gives it a warm feeling (red and yellow), but with a hidden, colder aspect (purple, a very mysteeeerious color). The hair is excellent; you have done spiky very well! She looks all Asian and cool? (okay, this is where I start babblin??better end the post :( )? Overall, I think it?s neat! Milo -
Once my friends sister gave her some of the manly lotion Milo speaks of.
Eeeeeew. And the thing is, the guy I know has been asking for it for TWO YEARS. Last Christmas, the time before last Christmas, the time in between last Christmas, a few weeks ago, a few minutes ago... Why are all my friends so perverted? :( Oh, wait...I am, too. :)

I liked the Ninja Scroll movie. I thought it was very classically Japanese?very tragic, deep, and full of unique, deeply symbolic imagery. On a shallower note, drawing style on that film was astounding! The bodies were so well proportioned, fighting scenes were awesomely graphic? Yurinado was my favorite character? So kewl!

Hello, dearie. Well, I have a couple different packs of the paper (one bigger, one smaller). The typical A-4 size that they sell on a lot of websites (it's really hard to find the paper in most stores) is 8.25 inches wide by 11.75 inches tall. I don't know if this is the "professional size," but it's all I could find for you. Oooh, ooh! And it has pretty guidelines on it, too! Fer making yer panels not be all crooked! (Whoa...where's my English??) Take a peek on www.howtodrawmanga.com. Hope it helps! :)

Okay, Oshi is a friend of mine and we've been watching many, many animes of different genres for along time. We watch mostly subbed, very rarely dubbed (subbed will always be better) anime. I think what she means is that some animes don't have the detail that, say, Disney movies do. I mean, take a look at the expressions people make in Disney movies. Very realistic. (Add the fact that Oshi and I were just at Disney World... so cool!) Some anime is amazing and freakishly well done. Some of it can get a little repetitive. I think us anime-watching folk need more patience than people who watch un-subbed films. Rock on, us! (Is that why my eyes are so bad??) :drunk:

I just recently moved in with my friend's parents and their celebrations are a lot more normal than my family's. Except I've noticed one thing that many American families seem to have in common...they ALWAYS fight on/around Christmas! What is up with that? It's supposed to be the most wonderful time of the year and all that warm, fuzzy crap. Oh, well. I try and take it easy during the Yuletide season. Be nice to people. Don't want any bad Karma, y'know. I feel your pain, Fall. Parents can be truly evil.
