Ah! I'm deffinitely buying X: One! I've seen the first 3 fansubbed, but I figure I should buy the DVD to support X so they release all of it. ^-^ I totally agree with you....Kamui is the bomb. He's just....so cool. Although X TV did swipe Kamui of pretty much all the emotions he had in the manga, but he's still cool. ^-^ X: An Omen was pretty cool, too. I liked how they had all those clips from the show, and then I could recognize them when they were in the series. Hee hee. That was kinda neat....

Hmm.....I didn't feel that sad when Michiru and Haruka died. I thought it was more emotional when the scouts were all killed.....at the same time. Maybe it was the way it looked. It looked like they were being violently slaughtered or something the way Galaxia's attack kinda smacked 'em like that.... >.< But it was sad....

I thought 26 episodes was the normal season for anime..... And that's not too short. It's a perfect length. ^^ I have a few more animes that I really love now..... -Full metal panic. This is one of the best series I've seen. Great plot, and REALLY awesome graphics. -X TV. I just saw it, and it makes the fights better than the manga, but Kamui lost all the emotions Clamp gave him. >.< -Serial Experiments Lain. I just started watching it, and I love the cyber stuff in it. And of course Fruits Basket. I finally started getting the last half, and I love it all over again. ^^

I think someone mentioned this earlier here, but I just saw the Fruits Basket episode when Momoji talks about his family, and that is really so sad.....I was actually sobbing, it was so sad. And then they show Tohru by her dying mom in the hospital.....that was one of the saddest thing I've ever seen. Deffinitely. I really hate Momiji's mom.....what an awful thing to do....:bawl:

Ah, I thought of another one. In Fruits Basket, Tohru is the cook for the 3 boys. Shigure even mentions that before Tohru came, Yuki cooked everything "black" (burned). lol. Kyo is very picky, so Tohru is always trying to please everyone. Kyo also knows how to cook, but he doesn't. He learned when training in martial arts.....He can make good rice balls. ^^

Not ALL of Fushigi Yuugi is sad, but it is very sad a lot..... I think Yu Watase's other series, Ayashi no Ceres, was even sadder than Fushigi Yuugi. It's very depressing, and I think I cried at least once during each DVD. The whole thing is very gloomy and sad.....

um.....This is a weird thread. lol. Jubei from Jubei-chan the Ninja girl. She always cooked for everyone, even though she had school and everything. They even give the recipe for her Jubei-Yaki on one of the DVDs.
Originally posted by wrist cutter Well, I don't know what version of Photoshop you have, so maybe just try looking for a screen or menu that changes when you click on the "line" tool. When you see a menu change, just snoop around in there until you see something that talks about "arrowheads".
I have 7.0 and they call it a "vector mark", but when I delete the vector mark, as is available in the layers menu, the whole screen goes the color of the line.....

Ugh......I hated Cody's voice.....it sounded too old for him, and it was always kinda scratchy. >.< And also in Zoids: Chaotic Century......I can't stand Van's voice.....I heard him as the VA for Yuhi in Ceres, and he's 16, but Van looks like he's 12, and it sounds way too old for him.... And in the old DiC Sailormoon, all the monsters just had that range of really disgusting voices......they were all scratchy and just *ick*. They hardly sounded human.....no pun intended. O.o lol.

I didn't consider Neflite's death a sad moment........I could never shed a tear for one of my least-favorite characters. Maybe it was his dub voice....maybe it was Molly's super-obnoxious dub voice, but that moment was just crushed. I think I was smirking when he died.....he was such an idiot it was just funny to me.....:D

The Photoshop trial? I was going to try that, but then I read that the "save" capability is disabled in it. Then I didn't even bother. I mean.....what's the point if you can't even save? I used paint all the time before I got Photoshop a few months ago. It actually is quite useful. It's good to paste images into and to be able to keep the canvas a certain size while you drag your pasted pic around and stuff.......good for avatars. I had to get a resizing program, but paint was fine for other stuff. And I still use it to put lines in......since I still can't figure out how to in Photoshop without those little arrows.......^^;;;

Um......Gravitation is shonen ai, but Fruits Basket isn't really.......I mean, it does have a gay guy, Hatsuharu, but it's not like that at all, really. It's about a family that turns into the 12 Chinese Zodiac animals (and a cat. ^^) when they're hugged by the opposite sex, or when they get weak or something.
Originally posted by ifm2181 Although I haven't really heard anything from the japanese versions, I've heard that the dubs have really bad voices for some people. I agree, Serena's voice is annoying, but that's her character.
Her dub voice was pretty bad, and I guess you could say it fit her character, but I actually liked her Japanese voice. It wasn't anywhere near as awkward sounding as the dub. It's actually kinda nice, I think.....

When Miaka said "goodbye" to Evil Tamahome and they both started crying......I was crying too. >.< [In Fushigi Yuugi] And I thought it was really sad in Fruits Basket when Tohru left the Sohma household and went back to her grandfather's house. Everyone was so sad, especially Kyo and Yuki..... And then Tohru told the story of the Fruits Basket game. I think I cried almost until the very end of that episode.....

My favorite animes are Fruits Basket, Sailormoon (really, Sailor Stars), and Escaflowne. Fruits Basket is always so sweet, Sailor Stars is....I dunno.....I just really like it (:D) and Escaflowne is a great combination fighting and romance. My fave mangas (this is a much bigger range......) Inu-Yasha, Fushigi Yuugi, Paradise Kiss, X/1999, Hana Yori Dango, and Shaman King. Inu-Yasha again is a great fighting/Romance series, Fushigi Yuugi just has great romance and lovely eye candy, Paradise Kiss I found hilarious, and it was really sweet, and Shaman King is my favorite Shonen fighting series. Then X/1999 is really cool and gothic, and Hana Yori Dango is simply very interesting and surprising.

I didn't think the future-scene was overdone in Sailormoon......I thought they showed it just enough times, but I guess that's just me.:D I think the drama is a little too much in Ayashi no Ceres. I mean, the depression of all the characters is a little annoying after a while. And Tooya......it's almost like he's whining after a while. He just HAS to get his stinking memory back......why can't he just go with Aya already?!? And as much as I love Escaflowne, and it pains me to say something bad about it, Hitomi did get a little bit annoying, being as fickle and undecisive as she was. She couldn't decide which guy she liked, but she was always cooing "Allen......" or "Van.....". That really got on my nerves after a while...... I must mention DBZ here as well. Maybe it's just because I'm sick of DBZ, but my brother was watching the Cooler's Revenge movie the other day, and I want to know why it always takes so freaking long for Goku to go SSJ. I mean, the movie took place after the Frieza saga, so he had already done it. Why did it take so long? I actually starting screaming at him to change already. It's like that in all the movies. It takes sooooo long before he actually gets serious.....the "suspense" just KILLS me......*sarcasm*

Um...the Namek Saga wasn't really an ending. Just the end of the saga, and they leave you hanging because the series goes on with another saga! I thought the Princess Mononoke ending was good. It didn't leave me just staring at the screen pondering what had happened or anything..... It was very reasonable. Even though San and Ashitaka were in love, neither could just drop everything they had known, so Ashitaka agreed to visit her and everything, but they both had to go on living the way they had been. And yes, the Little Kodama's are cute. ^^

Plum is my favorite. She's just so tiny and cute! I want a laptop that can jump into my bag and sit in my hand and that looks as adorable as Plum. ^^
-
I think that orange or fire, or whatever kinda clashes with the picture. Maybe that's just me.......but I think it would look better without that or in a different color or something.
-
Well, AS IS only 3 episodes long in the anime form. :therock: I couldn't bring myself to spend 30 dollars on that....shame on me....*whack* Naraku is cool, but he doesn't look as cool as I thought he would. He looks pretty.....well.....pretty, and kinda girly.....O.o Ack.....Inu-Yasha on CN....*nightmares* If you really want to see it, get the manga or the original anime....I don't wanna know what will happen when CN takes it....

I own and have read the first 2 mangas. At first I really loved Chi.....but after readung volume 2.....I'm starting to hate her and I hope she doesn't get together with Hideki. I like Yumi way to much, and I feel so bad for her...being repleaced by persocoms....>.< Anyway, Chobits always brings a smile to my face anyway. The first one was hilarious, and the second was funny, too, but I was too involved by starting to hate all the Persocoms and Chi to think it was all THAT funny..... O.o Nah....it was still pretty funny, though. ^^

I thought it was the Henchman peoples...... Misato was locked in that room the whole time, and then she got his message when she got home and knew he was dead by then. But she didn't kill him. O.o
-
Unfortunately, I have no idea who Knives is.....or Rociel because I still haven't seen Angel Sanctuary yet....*covers up Setsuna avatar*....and I can't believe you mentioned the MKR lady. lol. I totally forgot about her....she was just dead too fast. O.o I have two villains that I'm particularly fond of.....Dilandau from Escaflowne (He's hot, heh heh, and he's very sadistic and a pyro!) and Faust VIII from Shaman King because he was REALLY messed up......he can mentally control millions of dead skeletons with killing powers and he enjoys cutting people open while they're alive, just for the fun of it.:) The Villain with the most depth....hmm.....I think I'd have to say Naraku from Inu-Yasha. He plans every detail in his plots, leaving nothing of a weakspot and usually simply a Golem doll when he could be in danger. He's always cool and never shocked at anything, and like I said, usually has every little detail planned out. He also makes his plots for revenge very detailed and complicated.

Anime Girls Topic Only: Cutest guy from any anime?
amiboshi replied to Utena_Tenjou's topic in Otaku Central
Whoa......you guys brough this back from June 16th....and that's just the last posy before August, when it was revived. O.o But anyway, I agree with Utena completely. ....except on Yuki....he's too *pretty* to be cute. But I must say that I love Kyo and Hatsuharu as well. They really are cuties. ^^ -
I consider dubbed anime and Mainstream anime totally different things. I consider Mainstream anime to be the stuff on networks, or the stuff that pretty everyone, even the poeple who don't like anime, know what you're talking when you mention its name. (i.e. DBZ, Pokemon, Digimon.....) I mean.....you utter DBZ anywhere in a school, and everyone knows what show you're talking about....whether they like it or not. That's mainstream.
