Bootlegs. It's all about the bootlegs.....lol. I found a bootleg site that has tons of anime sets, usually with the entire anime that costs $30 on DVD. That's the way I'm going from now on......lol.

I don't even consider Pokemon anime anymore, after such a big American takeoff. As Utena_Tenjou said, FF legend of the Dark fantasy was another one of the worse animes I've ever seen. It was so dull and I could not bear to watch another volume...not after the first one.... Genkai mentioned Dragon Knights, too. I kinda liked it, but maybe it's just because I'm obsessed with all the really pretty artwork and all the boys. O.o That first volume took me about 3 hours to read it, which is really saying something. But I was reading about the second volume, and it sounds like the plots pics up a lot more, but maybe not. I was reading up on the characters later in the series, and it sounds really good to me.

The worst animes I've ever seen must be Kurogane Communication and Brain Powered. Both were really dull.....and KC was really annoying. I hated all the characters. There must be more I hated, but I can't remember.

Hitomi and Van's relationship seemed to come a little out of nowehere to me, too. In the TV series, it really wasn't like that... I liked a lot of the new and re-vamped character designs, except for Van's. I just hated him this time....his face looked like he was trying to grow a beard half the time, and I didn't like that coat he wore around his waist that made it look like he was wearing a skirt.....and he looked sorts stubby..... O.o I guess it's just because he didn't look elegant anymore like he did in the series.

I just saw the movie, and it was very good. I would recommend watching the TV Series first, and then watching the movie. There are the same characters and everything, but they don't explain the characters in the Movie. And if you see the series first, it's more fun to compare the two.

Yeah, Groovy is my favorite song, too. ^^ All the music is so catchy......I just love all of it.:D

I think his newer film is called Spirited Away, which Disney just bought. I actually haven't seen Kiki's delivery Service yet, but I'd like to. I really loved Mononoke Hime and My neighbor Totoro was cute. ^^ They're so different though....it is surprising they were both done by Hayao Miyazaki..... But I can't wait for Spirite Away....I heard Disney is going to try and make it a really fast release.:)

I don't like the look of the movie.....I like the series desgins, but that's okay. I still really want to see it, just because I'd like to see the new way they told the story. Plus, I think it's a must-see for Escaflowne fans. ^^ I want to buy it, but since the whole set is like $60 and I have to put all my money towards my computer, I can't get it either. lol.

Yeah, I liked that little tune they played when Sakura put on her rollerblades or something like that. On the CD it's called "Just around the corner". I actually liked that song. ^^ But I still liked the real CCS music better. I really did like the music WB had though, but still....it would have been better to leave int he original BG music....

My friend showed me her manga of FY and I got started on the third volume since that was the only one there. Then I went to try and find the anime, which was kinda hard since they call that "Mysterious Play", and it's alphabetized.... O.o You should read more of it, though. I bet you'd like it.... Based on some of the other things you like...;)

Who knows what it's about. From what I could tell, he's asking about which saga you think CN will play next. I dunno...... That's what it appears to be about....

Well, the fact that Fox is mostly stuff for kids and that underneath all the action Escaflowne is really a shoujo anime and a romance story probably explains their decision.

GAH! The movie......It looks so different and everybody looks like barbarians..... The only reason I want it is for the soundtrack. ^^ I just Love Yoko Kanno's music, that was a big plus in the Esca series to me.:D Well, unless there are some big bonuses in the box set, you could always just buy each DVD by itself instead of all at once.

Oh, I love Escaflowne. It's a really great series, and I would say it's worth it. I bought all the VHS tapes, since I didn't have a DVD player yet, but I think the box set's worth it. It's got good fighting scenes, a great plot, and lots of character development. Plus I love Yoko Kanno's music. ^^ Anyways, I'm a big Esca fan, so I say it's deffinitely worth it.

Lol. Yeah, I should read mine over again, too. I'm talking about it when I can hardly remember some things. I don't know or don't remember what happened with her dad, but I know her Mom is just always gone or something, and sends her money. I don't know if magic will come in anytime soon here......O.o BTW, Angel Sanctuary is a manga, if that's what you meant. The entire story was pretty much manga. The anime was just like an OVA, or an intro for the manga. Such a shame it hasn't been released..... >.<

The CCS music was all great. WB really did something wrong when they took it all out and put their little pop mixes in instead.

Um......O.o;;; Yeah, I don't think that would ever happen. Lol. I'm sure there are some translation, you just gotta look for 'em. ;) I mean, I finally just found some DNAngel scans, so there has to be some for AL. Although I hate just translations. I like scans with them.

I don't know who the connection is between....hmm.... She keeps mentioning things like she's already addicted, and keeps comparing her to someone. I'm anxious to read more of the story and find out some of these little secrets.....^^

Besides the plot being boring (at least to me), did the character designs bug anyone else? Everyone was like all chubby, expect for that one guy.....the one with the stripes in his face. But they all had fat cheeks.... It just kinda bugged me.... O.o;;

Yeah, her aunt is cool. ^^ I felt like she knew something, or there was some big secret in their family, but I'm not sure what it's all about...... I haven't gotten Chobits 2 yet, but I want to. U.U

I read all 6 of the MKR manga, but I didn't like the first 3 that much. They were a bit dull to me, but I kept reading them anyway. The end of the 3rd was good, so I moved onto #4 and the second half of the series. I really loved the last 3. They were really good, and I couldn't stop reading them. I would like to see the anime, but I haven't gotten around to it, so, oh well.

Well, her mom sent her lots of money, so I guess that's how. Though it really must have been expensive, so she blew out her spending money, and I can't remember, did she use the money she had for her train ticket, too, or did she just miss it? SD art is always funny. I just love manga..... ^^ I downloaded Wish scans with translations on it, but now I can't find the site.

lol. Not many people seem to know about Angelic Layer, even though there was an anime for it, too. Oh well..... I can't believe that little 10 year-old girl could afford so much on her own.....(I can't remember her name right now and I don't feel like going upstairs to look....) I would have thought it would be more expensive, but whatever. I still think it would be really cool....battles all the time, points for more cool stuff, practicing, kicking the crap out of your opponent.... Yeah, I like the weird hands and stuff when they go SD. The bodies are funny when they get all gumby-like. It reminds me of Jubei-chan the Ninja Girl.......^^ I read some of Wish. It's okay, but it really didn't look too terribly interesting to me. Maybe I just didn't read enough....*shrug*
