Lol. Yeah, I'm not exactly sure what the point of fanclubs are. If you have one at a person's house or school or something, I can see that. You would get together, and talk about whatever it is you're a fan of. But fan clubs here, I don't really get. I mean, everyone pretty much belongs to the CB club that posts in the CB forum. So, like you said, truly, the only point is to look good in the sig. ^^ lol. :p

I haven't heard of those, although I wasn't really too impressed by the 1st and 2nd FY OVAs. I mean, they were good, but they were no where near the quality of the actual series. Still, I'd love it if they were released here in the US. More FY is always appreciated. ^^

Yes, just because you suffer doesn't mean you turn and evil and everything. It's up to the person and depends on what their reaction is. Just because all the villains suffered doesn't give them an excuse to go slaughtering innocent people. It's just a fact or a detail about them. They were just evil people, that was the problem.

Okay, I would want to be Tohru from Fruits Basket, becuase she has two of the sweetest guys ever as her family, and they are just so good to her. ^^

I have another one.........Usagi (Sailor Moon) and Miaka (Fushigi Yuugi). Both have obnoxious voices in the dubs, both look kind of alike when Miaka has her hair in buns, and they both act kind of ditzy (Miaka at first, at least), and both are major heroines.

Yeah, they all had good reasons, I guess. But everyone suffers at least once in their life, so it just depends on the person about whether or not they'll go all crazy about it. They were evil becuase they were all tortured and they decided to hold a huge grudge and kill people. ^^ If everyone decided to kill the people who mad them suffer, then there wouldn't be very many people in this world..... I didn't know Nakago was her favorite....that's interesting. She also said she really like Miaka's brother and that she would date him if he was real. ^^ BTW, you should have edited that post, Forest Pixie......

Oh yeah, it wasn't Amiboshi's fault. Indirectly, meaning he really had nothing to do with it whatsoever... I was wondering that, too. How could Suboshi no longer feel Amiboshi's life force if he wasn't dead? I mean, even if he was knocked out, his life force would still be there, and like you said, Suboshi had no right to blame Tamahome for Amiboshi's "death". I mean, Tamahome had nothing to do with Ami's "death". None of them did, and the slaughter of Tamahome's innocent family was completely uncalled for. Suboshi was so stupid to do that. He took his own pain and passes it onto Tamahome even stronger. Soboshi should have been more sensative about the death of family members, but then I guess he wouldn't be the villain.....

Yeah. It all depends on his psycho the villains go, and excatly how out of control thir grudge or revenge is. I always like the heroes, too. That's just the way I am.... They always appeal to me more, except for maybe Ami. But like you said, he never really seemed very evil, since he sided with Miaka and the Suzaku Seishi, plus, he never actually killed any of them, so he wasn't that bad at all. ;) Although he did kinda indirectly cause the deaths of Tamahome's family, but that was really Nakago and Suboshi's fault.

Oh yeah, of course they'll be bilingual DVDs.....I'm pretty sure, at least. And thank god for that, incase the dubbing really is that bad. I'm not expecting any miracles or anything. The show's japanese voices are so good. No extreme tones or anything, they're all kinda mild sounding, but they're perfect. I love Kyo's voice. But Yuki's is so funny, it sounds like a girl at first. But Yuki kinda looks like a girl a little bit, too, so....

Um.....I didn't understand your first sentence there, Endymion..... I don't really care that much, but I personally enjoy dubbed anime, I mean, subtitled, too, but I also like dubbed. I would just like to see it dubbed. After seeing the series subtitled, it would be interesting, that's all. It would just be a shame if it came out awful. Especially if they ever play it on TV.....

Mmm hmm. That's true. He didn't seem the type to fall in love, really. He just deeply cared for Miaka. He totally misunderstood Miaka and Tamahome/Taka. I think he never really shook off the feeling that Tamahome had hurt Miaka when he was evil, like you said. He really did act a lot like a big brother. He risked his life all the time for her, (but he was a celestial warrior, so.....) and he never really acted like he was in love, but he did care a lot for her. Tasuki is a very interesting character indeed.....

What I'm afraid of is that they'll give Tohru Bulma or Botan's voice. Neither of those are right for Tohru. Ick. Just the thought sends chills down my spine. All the characters in FB are totally different from YYH and DBZ. Those voice actors suit the kind of characters that are tough and such, but FB isn't about that at all. I just don't want it to come out sounding tough and scratchy, if you know what I mean.

Yeah, FB being in the hands of Funi means we can expect the same ol' voices. I really don't think the VA's of DBZ and YYH will fit in nicely here. But I'm gonna wait and see. I still want to buy the first DVD, just to see what it's like. I really hope they don't butcher it too bad.....who knows. Maybe we'll all be.....pleasantly surprised? Nah....it's gonna suck.....But still. I'm anxious to see it. ^^

Yeah, I started out watching the Fansubs first, then I bought the Chinese DVD. :p I think the fansub was better, except I had to watch it on my computer, which lags a lot. There may be some spoilers here, but it's only from the 5th episode. The episode when Tohru went back to her grandfather's house literally brought tears to my eyes. Everyone was so sad in that episode.....But actually, it had nothing to do with akito. Tohru was just moving back to her Grandfather's house since the rebuilding was done. The fact that she was comparing the game to the Sohmas made the whole game seem really sad. "Riceball can never belong in a fruits basket." It was kinda strange when Akito went to check on Tohru and see what she was like. He found her stupid and realized he had nothing to worry about. Akito is so stupid. He didn't even see what gift Tohru had with the entire Sohma family. Akito is so terribly twisted. He's a very evil person....poor Yuki-kun......

Yeah, it is a weird name. But the show is named after a game Tohru played when she was little. From what I can tell, each person is given the name of a fruit and when that fruit is called, you join the game. The kids always teased Tohru and named her Riceball, which doesn't belong in a fruits basket. It was so sad when she told that story.... *sniff sniff*

Def-kun......are you sure it was Akito from Kare Kano? You mentioned "perfect student", are you thinking of Arima? I don't know. Maybe there's and Akito..... Griff, forgive me, but I don't see many like-points of Suzuka and Vegeta. Vegeta is a loud-mouth, he's arrogant, and he jumps into battles even if he has no chance to win. Suzuka is quiet, doesn't act arrogant, and doesn't mindlessly jump into battle. I think Tamahome (Fushigi Yuugi) and Touya (Ceres) are a lot alike. Obviously looks-wise, since they're both Watase Yuu characters, but they act the same, only a bit. Tama's kinda loud, but Touya super quiet. Although they were virtually created for the women they love, and protect their one and only with their life. They both also possess great martial arts abilities.

What? How did you see the dubbed version already? I didn't think it was released yet... I don't like Yuki. Kyo is my personal fave. He's so sweet. It's so cute when Tohru makes him smile. ^^ Yuki is so quiet and reserved. I mean, I like him, but I think Kyo's the best. :D Yeah, it's Yuki who's popular, not Kyo. Yuki is loved by almost every girl in the school. A group of girls even make up his fan-club. O.o I thought FB was funny. I recall laughing quite a few times, but it's cute humor. I especially think Haru was funny. But the ideas are funny too, so I hope funimation doesn't spoil it too much.....darn it......why did it have to be Funi.....Bleh....

Fruits Basket is the best. We had a topic about this a while back. I've seen the first half of the series, and as soon as I get enough money I'll order the second half, but I'm anxious for the dubbed releease, too. I want to know which voices are used and such. I hope they don't end up using those same Yu Yu Hakusho and DBZ voices......the series is totally oposite from them, and I don't know if those voices would match terribly well. Anyway, I love Fruits Basket. The show is so innocent and cute. ^^ The whole cast is so sweet, it's just such a cute show!

Well so far Naraku has cetainly proven to be a formidable opponent. He certainly has a whole lot of tricks up his sleeve. I can't wait until that final battle. It should be really good. But that'll be a while, I'm sure. Since Viz has only released up to vol. 11. How many volumes are there? I thought there were like 22...

Yeah, I don't like Hotohori's feminine look....Tamahome's much better for Miaka. Now, Hotohori's a great Husband for his real wife, but not for Miaka. Miaka is too active to be the wife of an emperor. She goes all over the place and gets herself into all sorts of trouble. Hotohori just can't support her with that kind of behavior. Plus, Tamahome seemed to understand her a lot more. Hotohori is so serious and mature, and Tamahome kids and can be immature. Miaka isn't as serious as Hotohori at all.....like the time Miaka tried to convince everyone that she was over losing Evil Tama, and Hotohori kept asking her if she was alright, and Miaka finally screamed at him. I would have done the same, he was being so stupid. He just doesn't understand Miaka and her behavior like Tamahome does.

An online job? Not besides web design. If you want some money, you may need a *gasp* real job. I'm such a bad web designer, since I don't know HTML....which sucks....but Oh well. But my mom needed a web site for her new business, and well, I actually know a little bit about HTML codes and basically making a site (O.o), and since her site was pretty basic, she actually paid me $10 dollars an hours, so I made about 80 bucks. It's not much, but hey, I was happy. I didn't even have to lift a finger. ^^ But I'm getting a babysitting job to make the money for my computer. If you really need some cash, I suggest you go out and find yourself a job, even if it's off-line. ;)
