I think everything about 9/11 is pretty much stupid. I think it's stupid Afghanistan felt the need to crash 3 planes in the US, and I think it's stupid that now people are so racist against muslims, and that everyone's all paranoid. I mean, security is good, just don't go overboard........ And I think it sucks that you can't get your 3 month+ holiday. That's totally screwed. Now the US government is just being paranoid.

I've never made one, but I've seen a few. I saw about 10-15 DBZ videos, and I saw one Kare Kano music video, it said "Pop up Video", but I couldn't tell if it was really a VH1 video or not, cuz I've never seen an anime video on VH1 before.......:therock: I don't know, maybe I just don't watch it enough.......^^

Of course downloading copyrighted material is illegal....heck yeah. Oh well, people do it so much now, and with today's technology and all.....it's almost impossible to stop it at this point. Of course, I'm sure I contribute, too. I download mp3's, mostly anime songs that are more difficult to find cds for. And anime pictures, too. That's about it. I was downloading fansubbed anime, but I bought the DVD for it, so I don't do that anymore.

But now it's too hot to wear jeans, so I'm finally wearing my shorts. ^^ I think some girls' shorts are shorter than others, like when their butts are haning out....:therock: But the short-shorts are just the style now, and I think they look a whole lot better than long shorts, but still, it's not always necessary to have them quite [i]so[/i] short. Marmalade Boy is so cute. Although all the guy look like girls in the anime, they don't look quite as feminine in the manga. I like the High School-based animes. They have something kinda special about them that sci-fi and fantasy just don't have. A certain realism that makes me think more about my own life, I think. I was considering this before, but not many people really do know about Fushigi Yuugi....which is a darn shame. Also Clover, by Clamp.

I let my 8 year-old brother watch the show with me, actually, I had already seen it, and now I'm letting him watch the series. He loves it. Even the music, which is a big thing for him. He just finished watching the 'bloody Van' scene. But still, I didn't think it was really that bad, though I wonder what will happen when the story takes its little "Love story" twist......That's what I personally love about the show, however. You can't beat a show with action, some gore, a good romance, and some cute Bishonen.;)

I love Melfina's song, the one that's the 1st ending for Outlaw Star, and when they sang it in english on the show, I just HAD to record one of those episodes, just because.....um.....I love the song. And last night on Pilot Candidate, they sang the english version of "Kagayaki". OMG, that is one of my favorite songs. Now, I really liked Kizna's voice when she sang it, but that icky other repairer girl, she totally ruined it with her squeaky messed up voice. I was cringing. But when they play that episode again, I am so recording it. I think I'm the real freak here...:freak: lol.

I don't think they're really that big a deal at my school. Although the "popular" girls (although they're still my little 'group' of friends I hang out with) wear the little shorts that their butts hang out of and the super-tight (I mean [i]really[/i] tight) shirts, which they ultimately shouldn't wear......but we don't really have the "how much did you pay for that?" kinda thing going. And I personally just wear what's comfortable to me. Which usually just happens to be my jean shorts and my black Gap shirt. Nice 'n' comfy. ^^

Ya know what, I wish people would stop asking where they can buy anime. I mean, how can people know what stores you do and don't have? And of course you can usually find things online, somewhere like amazon, or a real store like suncoast. But people always have to ask! Whoo....:cross: Just had to say that^^

I bought the GTO manga, and I really didn't like it that much...it just wasn't very interesting to me. I have some: Marmalade boy, Fruits Basket, X, Ayashi no Ceres, Majutsushi Orphen, Dragon Knights, Kare Kano, Jubei-chan the Ninja Girl, erm....that's all I can think of for now....

It kinda sounds like GTO. He's constantly peeking up girls' skirts. It gets old. I could barely finish that manga. Perverted anime bores me. Though in Jubei-chan, they made all these jokes about her chest, and they weren't that bad, but there was also a plot, so I think you just have to draw the line with perverted jokes in anime.

wow.....I can barely remember how I first heard of otakuboards.com........I think I found theotaku.com looking for DBZ pictures, and I eventually tried the little board link, and I was hooked. I made a bunch of new friends, and had lots of fun. It also gives me something to do, and I suppose you could say it gives me a chance to practice typing and writing skills, too. ^^
