  1. Danuke quickly slipped into the easterling armor. It wasn't bulky at all. It was actually kind of comfortable. He marched toward the top of the castle. Nearing a doorway, three easterling guards ran the opposite way. Danuke grabbed one of them by the arm and asked him a question. "Where is the general? The intruder has been killed. I shoved him off the wall to his death. I wish to return the enemy's weapons to the general." The easterlings looked over the castle wall and saw an easterling, stripped of gear. They mistook him for the "intruder". One of them turned back. "Good work. The general is in the tallest part of the castle, plotting to destroy these pathetic rebels." Danuke gave a laugh and noticed that one of the men kept staring at him. The man asked. "Why is there blood on the neck of your armor? You should get a medic." Danuke panicked and swung his hammer, hitting one of the men in the side and pushed the other, who nearly went off the castle. The ranger swung his sword down, cleaving the man in the head with the sharp blade. Danuke ran through the doorway and passed a few orcs on the way up to the tower. He hoped that they would cause enough of a distraction to get the soldiers to go down there. Then he could have the general to himself. *Maybe it was a good trade-off. Women for blood. You still mustn't marry the maiden when you get back the Stygia. No fun in that. Women complain and argue. Blood only cries out when you strike a man for the last time. As great as it would be to get with one of these women, blood is your only love for now. Yes, blood. And this cool armor. Too bad you had to dump most of your clothes off the castle when you changed. My elven cloak will remain with me, though. Stuffed in my chest plate. These helmets really aren't so bad, either.* He marched up flight after flight of stairs, all the while passing orc and man alike. As long as you don't make eye contact, they wouldn't stop him. He carried his arms outstretched, holding his hammer. His dagger was safely hidden in his boot and his sword was sheathed. The climb was treacherously steep at times. At one point, he didn't see any soldiers. He heard nothing. At last, he reached the enemy planning-room. He saw a window covered in bars and a large wooden door. He could hear voices inside. They were talking strategy. He crawled below the window and set his hammer on the ground. If anyone walked by, he could say that he dropped it and was picking it up. He cocked his head to hear the generals strategising in the other room...
  2. Kelko stopped his ranting and turned to the wookiee. His only look was one of confusion. "You are a stupid shit. Use body language next time. Use your body. Not other people's. Jayne, if he does that again, you have full permission to rip his sack off. Or shoot him. Maybe. I don't know. He might be useful. Aw, hell, just don't do that you retarded wookiee." With the rest of the group now trying to piece together what he just said, they continued. The dead ackley lay in the never-ending gray dunes of Korriban, to be forgotten forever as they would be if they died...
  3. He turned to the zabrak. "The force is as real as my double-D implants! It is a hoax thought up by stupid, weak-minded people! Now shut up! Those things? Probably mirages, or illusions, or even projected images. Also, dark jedi can't hurt us if they're dead. We'll kill them. We got this commy zabrak, a wookiee scumbag, a naive gungan, a jedi, and me. I'm the smartest thing on the damn planet now, ain't I?" The group just stared. (Meanwhile.) Jaburie looked through his window at them. He spoke with the sith that fed the student to the nexu. "I felt his fear, his screaming. It made me feel invigorated. Send out the magic ones. Ambush them. Try and take the jedi and gungan first. The rest could fall easily enough. Mostly though, kill the gungan. I want the jedi alive. I want to kill her myself." The sith warrior's pale face went even more pale, his grey eyes quivering. "M-m-my lord, I dare no defy you, but I am not yet powerful enough to keep them from killing me. You know they only die from a head-shot and I have not completed my training, yet." The lord's eyes glowed red. "You will open the door or die trying. Now go or you will be fed to another nasty beast. Wait...We should let them come. Forget my order. Oh, and send two of the slaves to feed the magic ones. I rather like watching that..." With that, they both left the room.
  4. I loved them both. The second one brings up the fact that all we strive for is petty and the people who make such a big deal out of it are wasting their lives trying to do those stupid things. I loved it. Make more!
  5. Danuke wentto the back of the castle. He looked at his opposition: three orcs with bows and two men, easterlings by the look of them. They were standing on an outcropping of the wall. It'd be easy to climb, but difficut to get to the top. Danuke looked at what he had to work with: a sword, a hammer, and a dagger. He heard off in the distance: "HEAR ME MINIONS OF EVIL. YOU HAVE INTERFIERED WITH OUR NOBEL QUEST, AND FOR THAT YOU MUST PAY!" The orcs and men turned their heads and looked for a better view. Danuke bolted to the castle. He looked for footing and began his climb. It was not the most difficult he had, but not easy. Many times, he nearly fell. At last, he got to the outcrop on the top of the castle. He was so close, he could smell the orcs. He had to wait for another diversion, though. Then he had to dispose of the bodies. The dragons flew overhead and dove at the ground. This was his chance! He flipped up on the ledge and the orcs' eyes widened in surprise. He took one swing with his hammer and one of the archers fell to his death. The other two archers loaded arrows into their bows. The easterlings charged him. He had his warhammer in one hand and his sword in the other. The first easterling swung at him, he blocked with both weapons, kicked the enemy in the groin, and brought the back of his hammer down on the easterling's head, causing blood to flood down his helmet and to the stone floor. Then he brought his sword up and hit the poor man in the face with the blade. The second easterling charged him. He took a swing. Danuke swung his hammer and sword. The hammer stopped the blade. The sword hit the fingers. The easterling dropped his sword as Danuke went around the back and slit the man's throat. (Discriptive, eh?) The two archers both took shots. One bounced off his single shoulder pad, the other missed. Danuke grabbed one of the easterlings and carried him like a shield. Arrow after arrow hit the dead man's chest. Danuke walked until he was five feet from them and they were reloading. Then he tossed the dead man off the castle and swung broad strokes killing both archers. He all their bodies off the castle, except the man who had his throat slit. He stole the man's armor. He gave his call and hoped the others would recognize him. Two orcs passed by him as he wore the new armor. He looked at them as they passed then snuck up behind them. He swung at one's head and killed him instantly, he kicked the other off the castle to it's well-deserved death. He watched as it flailed it's arms to try and grab something, though it was futile. The orc's eyes widened in fear as it hit the ground with a sickening thud, a black pool slowly creeping over the grass.
  6. (Meanwhile. You don't know this is happening.) Sith Lord Jaburie Matano looked out the window of a building. He was on the fourth floor looking down at the fools trying to kill his prized ackley about half a mile away. If they could do it, they'd be rich in the gladiator business. His black cloak kept his whole body hidden. One of his students stepped closer to get a better view. The sith lord cocked his head to one side and spoke. "Why do the rest of you not advance, though you want to." The class remained silent. The one student went back into the crowd of students. Jaburie turned and beckoned for the student to come forth. It was a young boy, probably about eight or nine. He kneeled before the sith lord's power. "Tell me my child...why do you fear me?" The child remained silent. Then spoke up. "Because you are powerful." The sith lord laughed quietly. "You felt as though you were better than the rest of the students. You felt that you were closer to my ability than they are. For that, you will be punished." He picked the child up and brought him to one of the older students. The older student smiled. Jaburie spoke to the other sith. "Feed him to my nexu. It hasn't had a meal in a few days and is very hungry." The child's fear filled the room like water. The sith lord breathed the fear. It was intoxicating. Like a warm bath or a good meal, but better. The child was carried away, screaming...
  7. Kelko drew his blaster and spoke into the comlink. "What the hell are you talking about?!" The only answer he received was a shrill, vibrating screech. The color drained from the rodian's face. "Get your weapons! The thing is going to be huge!" Jayne burst up the top of the hill, taking shots at the beast. Then the ackley emerged. It was nearly twenty feet tall and covered with a dark green carapace. (Shell.) Kelko got to his knees and took careful aim. Rodians were famed for their accuracy. He took a shot... It missed by about four feet. RODIANS were famed for accuracy. Not Kelko.
  8. (Ok, I wasn't sure if Vera was a generic crew member or what. This is going to be corny.) Massive Ackley with a steel band around it's neck. (Ackleys are those preying mantis things from Episode II.) It turns it's head to see what's there. It scans the horizan for a trace of food. It brings it's head up and rears on it's hind legs to see if there is anything edible. It's head goes up and down slightly and it begins to move in the direction of the group. It crouches down and begins to the dune. The comlink crackles and a voice is heard. It is not a known voice. It is low and hissing. "Have you found the jedi yet? We've found their ship, but they are nowhere to be found. I have sent the beast to track them down and destroy them. Fresh from geonosis it is..." The voice is interrupted by a new voice. A familiar voice. "Jayne, you there? Now can you hear me? Ha ha ha! Seriously though, can you?"
  9. (OOC:Who's Vera?) Kelko stopped and looked at the human. Jayne must have thought he was stupid. Talk of treasure and now he wants to go 'make sure no one jumps us.' The rodian didn't smile. "Do you think that i'm that stupid? More importantly, are you that stupid? You want to go out on a strange planet damn near alone and make a perimeter? There are still dark jedis here. They ain't gonna leave a guy like you alive very long. Besides, they coulda brought some kinda mean animal to kill us." He heard an echoing screech behind a massive dune of gray sand. Kelko looked back at the mercenary. "Maybe you should go and check it out. It couldn't hurt. You, take a comlink along and keep it on." He handed Jayne an old comlink.
  10. Nicolai loked up at the girl. She was the one he'd seen earlier. Nicolai got to his feet and rubbed his eyes. His rapier was still in his hand as he got up. "Hey thanks, Andy! I really owe you!" He looked at KC. "Um...nice to meet you, dude!" He turned the corner to find the father's brother's nephew's former roomate of all monsters. (Sorry, Gecko.) It turned to him and snarled. Nicolai ran around the corner again and yelled to the others. "Run, it's gonna kill me!" The demon burst around the corner and bolted after the scared guy. Nicolai went into the bathroom and hid in a stall. The demon blew the bathroom door off it's hinges and walked in slowly. It sniffed the air as it slowly turned colder. The air chilled Nicolai's skin as the demon drew near. Nicolai knew that he was making the air cold, but not how. The demon got nearer to the stall as Nicolai rested his hand on the lock. It froze solid. The demon ripped the door off it's hinges and found a sword-blade lodged in it's chest. The door came down as the creature was turned into a pile of ash.
  11. He looked at the strong man. The rodian gave a quick smile and attempted to appeal to his greed. "If the stories are correct though, there's enough treasure here to buy a damn fleet! Do you know what we could do with all that? Set for life. I could almost buy a planet. Besides, this place is lifeless. What kind of creature doesn't need to eat? There ain't no one alive to eat anyway." Kelko tried to stray behind the others a bit. "Seriously, don't listen to them stories. People make up crap about depressing stuff like this. It ain't true."
  12. Kelko laughed slightly, upon hearing the jedi's words. 'Every place is different.' That's an understatement! He thought of his home on rodia. The thick, humid air. The snarls of beasts mixed with the sounds of industry. His reality was suddenly shattered when he realized that he was not ON rodia. He was somewhere different. Somewhere disturbingly depressing. The zabrak was suspicious and the gungan naive. The jedi was kind. The others hadn't said a word yet. That wasn't good. He shouldn't be here. Jedi are overrated. They should've bombed the place, but the jedi insisted on sending a strike-team. The jedi are foolish. They believe in some force that does stuff for them. It sounded like they're just lazy. He'd seen and heard of the jedi parlor tricks, but didn't believe them. ______________________ There might be other people jumping in, ok? Like people that just signed in. I was originally hoping for five, but I got more. That's good. Just so you know...
  13. Danuke laughed. "Am I not wise, elf? If I recall, I wasn't caught by the orcs." Danuke thought again. For the fourth time in his life. *I have to get in the castle. But how? Catapult? No, it's impractical. Climb around the back? No, the orcs are dumb, but not that dumb. Storm the castle? Are you nuts? Do you like hot oil? Would you like to be burnt to a crisp? Ooh! I can use my elven cloak to get up the back! Then I can throw any archers off the castle and the others can climb. Its better than nothing. I wish the orcs had wooden spikes for a wall. Then archers die so much quicker.* He looked at the group. "I got a half-assed plan to get us in. It's not practical or intelligent, but it might work and it'll make me look better than you. Not that I already don't." He gave a grin and turned into the woods, not listening to the others.

  15. As they got closer to the castle, they realised the sheer magnitude of the situation. The castle was looming over them like a great mountain. The burnt ruins of a battering ram lay about twenty feet in front of the brave travelers. A few orcs stood in the tower with bows, grinning. They would first have to get through the door, which would be difficult. On top of that, the door had a stone ceiling above it extending out ten feet. There were holes in the ceiling used for dumping boiling oil and rocks on attackers. Boiling oil sucks.
  16. Good, but don't double-post. People hate that around here. It makes you look like a loser...WHICH YOU ARE!
  17. With a slight flash, a YT-1300 transport pulls out of hyperspace. The name on the side indicates that this is the Undying Wind, a ship lent to you by the New Republic. It?s current color is red, which has obviously been its color for a while, judging from the rust build-up. It pulls into the atmosphere of Korriban, a gray, lifeless planet. The rodian pilot gives a little cry of surprise as the ship comes down a little faster than usual. He takes the ship down in a wide canyon. Beyond that, you can see large, empty cities made of bedrock. As the ship lands, you all feel the planet?s famed heavy gravity. You leave the ship one-by-one and feel your morale slipping away. The landscape is completely gray. There are no plants, aside from a few distorted trees. No ships are seen, not even broken ones. All your gear feels twice as heavy and the ship bows a bit. You look at the landscape and realize that there are no animals. The cities that loom in the distant are dark and gray, though they look like they could still have people there. As you stand there, you realize that this is not a landing pad, road or even natural. You are standing in a massive graveyard, nearly covered in dust?
  18. Nicolai saw that the demon was ramming the door for a few seconds, then pacing back and forth, looking for a way in. The demon looked up at a vent and started to unscrew the screws holding it in. Nicolai didn't want to get hurt, but he knew that it had to be stopped. He went to his locker. (Only a few feet away. Convenient.) He dug through some stuff and found a small sword. It was a fencing sword. He'd taken some fencing lessons for fun a few years back, little did he know that he would need to use them. He walked up to the demon. It turned and smiled a hideous grin. He raised his sword up with one hand and the demon charged. It made a trail of smoke behind it as it stormed the teen. Nicolai knew that he could only get one shot in. Then the demon gets the rest... The demon raised its hand, Nicolai ducked and thrusted the rapier blade up into the creature's abdoman. It barely flinched. Nicolai had a fleeting glimpse of classmates running in fear and, off the corner, a man wearing furs and a mask. The sword began to tingle as Nicolai squeezed the handle tighter. The demon gave a gasp and a shudder. The wound slowly began to develope frost; frost that spread around the area and slowly engulfed the demon in a thick sheet of ice. Nicolai gasped for air and the blade slipped out of the demon. The demon's arm threw it off balance as it toppled to the ground next to Nicolai and shattered into a million pieces. Nicolai crawled slowly to the office and tapped the door. A voice rang from inside, "Who is it?" "It's me. It's Nicolai." The door suddenly opened for a split second and then a second time. Andy pulled the freezing lad inside and closed the door...
  19. Ok, its good, but you should probably thin down the weapons. You're carrying a damn armory on your back. Also, in the thing, I specified that you can only have one weapon unless I say differ. Quote: "Weapons: (Up to three unless specified by me.)" Sorry if I seem like i'm wigging, but you are carrying tons of weapons. You can have the lightsabers and armor, but you should thin out the rest.
  20. "Uhhh...I'm Nayr-I mean John. Yes, John...Smith." He looked at the wings as they faded. He didn't feel that it was too smart to give out his real name to a person as strange as this. She was a bit weird. Though, he was weird as well. He looked at Ralph. Ralph must have been in shock still. Nicolai admitted that he was a little in shock, too. He checked the time. It was the beginning of third period now. He was supposed to be in a class. This was worth it, though. He looked back at the girl and asked, "Who are you? Tell the truth."
  21. Danuke stood by the Stygian army. He gave out commands. "You, send your horses around to the right side. We can try to drive them away from the city." The man looked at the ranger and replied, "We have no horse!" The ranger looked to the magician. "Call our group back. We will continue the trek. We'll go around the army and assassinate the general. I'm not sure if you can pull our group out of that battle, but try to. If you can't, we leave them. This mission will not fail. I won't let it. As for the elf that sacrafised himself. His problems are over. Ours have just begun. Stab a stick into the ground, write his name on it, and lets move." Everyone else's jaw dropped upon seeing that this cowardly ranger had attempted to take control.
  22. Nicolai looked stared at the girl with wings. It was weird. Weirder than he was. I mean, a girl with wings? Thats kind of akward. The kind of thing you don't see everyday. He looked at Nikki and Ralph. Both of them were staring, too. He looked back at the girl and pitied her. She was different. If he was in the same situation, he would be quite embarassed. He mustered up his courage and spoke up. "Nice gag. Real funny." Some of the people gave a nervous laugh and started to disperse. Some of them looked at her with anger. Most continued to stare. He smelled something disgusting. He turned to the source of the smell and saw a girl by the bathroom. She smelled like smoke and cheap deoderant. She dressed pretty close to the same as Nicolai. He noticed that she was looking a bit dazed. *** What was that about a portal? You might want to repeat.
  23. Gelron stood there talking to the elf. As soon as he was done, he felt the hairs on the back of his neck prick. An exhausted voice spoke. "Good idea. Being flanked sucks." Gelron turned to find a ranger standing before him. The man's shirt was soaked in blood and the shaft of an arrow stuck out both sides of his shoulder. His face was slightly pale and his weapons blackened with blood of his enemies. Gelron looked at him, shocked and spoke:"Please, let me heal you." The ranger withdrew. "It is not important. I can heal myself. But the spell I want to cast involves two fine women and a lot of alcohol...The alcohol's for the wound, the women hold me down." Danuke gave a short laugh, then his face turned stone serious. I took care of a few orcs. If we need some armor, I've got enough in the forest over there. He dared not point, for fear that the orcs would charge to the forest, seeing that there's something worth pointing out over there. He stared off into space for a moment, then looked really excited. "We can go around, using our elven cloaks and sneak up on their general. Its genious. What do you think?"
