Chance finished his work out early today with his friends, everyone was getting ready to head to that new club that was making its grand opening tonight. Ian and Chance stayed the longest at the gym while their friends left early, they wanted to complete their workout for the month before moving onto the next project. Chance and Ian were in the showers washing off as they talked with one another. "So, are you gonna head out to the Untamed Beast tonight? I heard it's an 13+ club, but they still have a section for adults to party. Don't wanna be caught messing around with a minor" Ian laughed as he scrub his hair with conditioner. "Maybe....I dunno, I mean I like to dance and relax but I'm not that good in crowds, unless its on the dance floor then that's much better. Still, kinda debating on the idea." Chance washed the suds off his body before turning off the hot water, he grabbed for his towel to dry off before leaving to go to his locker. Ian followed soon after and they both began to change. "I say go for it, lately you've been working and working out, then going to the AA meetings non stop. I'm impressed with you not drinking for a month already, you deserve to have some fun at least." Ian stated, Chance smiled at the comment. Both men left the gym and said their farewells to one another before going to their respected homes. Chance entered his apartment and sat down on his couch, sore and tired from the extreme workout he went through. His dog Scubbles climbed on the couch and layed next to his owner, Chance started to scratch his head. "So what do you think boy? Go out tonight or should we watch a movie?" The dog mearly rolled onto his back and panted. "Go out......thanks" Chance took a short nap on the couch, he woke up right as the sun was orange and sinking into the streets. He went into his room and started to change, he grabbed his black sweat pants and his yellow hoodie from the closet for tonight. Once change he went into the living room to grab his keys, wallet and cell phone. "Hey boy....how were things in the old west?" "Ruff" Scubbles responded. "What grows on trees?" "Bark" The dog responded again wagging its tail on the couch, Chance laughed as he headed out the door. Moments later he arrived at the club to see a line already being formed for the kids side, Chance parked and made his way to the adult side. He recognized the bouncer at the front door, it was his college roomate Freddy. "Hey bruiser, hows it going?" Chance said as he walked towards his friend, the two talked and hugged one another for a bit. "How's it going Chance? Man it's been ages and I see you've kept up with your workout, trying to aspire to be like me" Freddy laughed as he flexed his muscles. "Yea whatever" Chance showed his I.D and was let in, the music was loud and it was already crowded. Chance stood around admiring the neon lights and how large the club was, there was also a large lit up dance floor and bar to match. There were booths and table stands with high chair for people to enjoy their drinks. The servers were dressed nicely and looked busy. Chance decided to sit at one of the tables. A female waitress came over to him quickly after talking with the bartender. "Welcome to Untamed Beast, what can I get you to drink handsome?" "Just a water and a double shot of vodka on the rocks please." Chance showed the female his I.D card but he didn't look at her. He was still stunned on how hip the place was, so much that he didn't realize his drinks were already on the table. "Oh......thank you miss" Chance turned to view the woman, she was tall and had piercing yellow eyes to match......but when Chance gazed into her eyes his blood froze. He smelled a scent dangerously familiar to him and her mere presence shook the muscular giant. "Have......have we met before?" "I don't think so?" She looked at him questionably. Chance's eyes turned a complete shade a milky white in an instant, he turned away quickly. "Thanks, another please" Chance's eyes still had a white glow to them, even the dancers on the floor looked at his direction and thought they were bright contacts, the waitress left still holding onto his I.D card, she was talking a lot to the bartender. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ OOC: So I'll make contact with you Frankie just to speed things along a bit. Hope that's alright, nice club btw :D:D

"...and it's like I've been hiding something that I don't even wanna remember lately. Like something from my past is awakening on the inside, but I know personally that I don't want to have any part with because it brings me painful memories for some odd reason." Chance sighed as he kept his head tilted back on the reclining chair of his friends Ian's house, they had finished their workout for the evening and Ian invited Chance over to help discuss his issues. Chance relaxed in his recliner while Ian was in the kitchen making both he and his friend some "after work out dinner". "I've only met you after your car accident, and I really don't know what could have hurt you so badly that even your own body doesn't want to remember. But, what I do know is that if you keep drinking like this it will catch up with your health. Even you know that you can't outrun a damaged liver or even something worse" Ian stated as he chopped up some romaine lettuce on the kitchen counter top. Chance simply rubbed his eyes slowly as he began to sit upright in his chair. "I know that, but after having one I just get mellow. More just feel better after that" Chance got up from his chair to go over to the kitchen and be closer with his friend. "I know the feeling, but eventually you will have to get rid of this addiction to something that won't pay your bills, give you company, or even love you. That's how I saw things eventually and now look. I got a gym to run, personal trainers and employees and a nice house. I didn't get that by sticking to the bottle" Ian smiled as he placed the food on separate plates and walked towards the dining table. Both he and Chance sat down and began to eat their meals. "Well, maybe I should move out of the apartment complex and move somewhere not close to downtown. I know the location is great for me since I work at home and the gym is only 10 minutes away.....but there's too much temptation nearby" Chance laughed a bit. "Well, I heard on the radio there's going to be a new club opening up soon. It's a new environment since there are mostly bars in the area. Maybe you should head over there for some dancing and LIGHT drinking. Who knows, you might find more than you would usually expect from a club." Chance thought about it, usually he just heads to one place to drink because they know him the best, maybe a change in scenery would be better. "Hmmm.....who knows" Chance shrugged as he continued to chow down.

OOC: My apologies for the lateness, have Laryngitis and was knocked out for a good 3 day healing. Getting better now though ^_^ The bright light seemed to goo to be true as the sun's rays pierced through Chance's bedroom windows, illuminating the clean environment. The sleeping giant tossed and turned on his mattress, his body was in torment from the drinks he had last night but Chance did not want to get up yet. He knew he would have to deal with a pounding headache and upset stomach through the whole day, but his body won the fight as Chance opened his eyes slowly to see his St. Bernard dog staring at him on the bedroom floor. "Hey Scubbles.....grab me a beer would ya..." Chance moaned as he forced himself to sit upright on his bed. He slept in his jeans from last night and shirtless, showing off his whip lashed body to his familiar room. The large dog left the room for a moment, only to return with a juice box in his mouth as he placed in on the mattress. "You're the best" Chance smiled. Scubbles barked as he left the room once again, Chance got up from his bed and did his morning ritual of cleaning himself before returning to his room, he sat down at his computer and began his work like he does every day. The phone rang while Chance was logging in. "Hello?" "Hey Chance, it's Ian. Listen we're doing lots of bulking this month and I wanted to make sure you're stretching a lot before and after your work out sessions. Did you do some last night?" "Errr..." Chance tried to remember if he did or not or what to say, not only was IAn his work out buddy, but he was also his AA sponcer. "Not really bud, I kinda had a drink at Cassidy's last night...." There was a silence after Chance spoke. "Did you have just one?" Ian asked. ""Maybe two.....or *cough* nine *cough* but the numbers really don't matter" Chance frowned a bit. "CHANCE! You know you cant control yourself after having one, this is what the program is all about....I don't even think you told me the real reason you began to drink and you said you would one day." "Yeah......I know, hey listen I gotta finish these medical records before our workout tonight, we'll talk then" Chance pressed the speaker button to end the call before his friend could reply back. As Chance continued to work on his computer, his wolf's tail popped out without him feeling and it swayed from side to side on a floor, like a cat's tail would. From time to time he would take a break away from his work to grab some food or do some stretches, Chance looked like a well muscled tank every time he looked in the mirror; he would get hit on by both genders from time to time. But the lash marks that covered his body always made him wonder....where did they come from, and how did Chance not remember something important like them. The sun began to set once again, 6pm rolled around and Chance was preparing to go to the gym once again, grabbing his clothes and gym bag he left the apartment and continued to his car. "Hey Chance!" A group of kids waved at the giant coming towards them. "Hello little ones, how was school?" Chance smiled as he knelt down in front of the group once he was closer to them. "Fine, we learned how to make pottery today and tomorrow we'll be able to color it" They smiled and laughed. "Hey neat-o! You'll have to show me tomorrow then." "We will" With that the small group of kids walked off to their respected homes in the apartment complex. Chance smiled as he put on his sunglasses and got into his black Mazda, leaving his complex he got onto the highway and sped off.

Name: Chance Lockheart Age: 27 Gender: Male Species: Gray Wolf/Rhino Class: Fighter Element: Wind/ Earth (tremors) Personality: Silent but stern, Chance remains quiet unless he has something important to say, otherwise he just listens and pays attention to the environment and people around him. Throughout his life, he's learned to observe others before making a movie, which is why he has his trusted friends now. Appearance Human: Chance is a white male standing tall at 6'4'' with a muscular built body, brown hair hanging down to the length of his shoulders and hazel eyes that change colors from time to time. Chance wears black sweat pants that drag a bit at the cuff and a white short sleeve shirt, his scars can be see on his arms and on his face as they run down his eyes and the side of his cheeks. Beast Appearance: The form of a gray wolf, but thanks to the mix of the Rhino his fur is changed into a hard shell with spiked horns traveling from the tip of his forehead and down his backside until it reaches his tail. The tip of Chance's tail has a spiked horn on it as well. Daily Life: Beads of sweat dripped slowly and skillfully down Chance's muscled body, after a long work out session with his personal trainer the sauna room was just the right thing to sooth the gentle giant. Chance huffed the dry air in a steady rhythm, every time he found some quiet time to himself it would be interrupted by images of fighting, screaming and death. But since Chance's car accident a couple years ago he doesn't remember what they mean or where it all happened. Chance had been inside the sauna room for fifteen minutes now, he needed to call it quits. The tall male stood up from the bench and made his way towards the door, making sure to duck underneath the entrance this time. After changing and getting to his car, Chance drove off to his regular hang out bar, pulling into the parking lot he stopped the engine and looked himself in rear view mirror. "Just a couple tonight, don't over due it" He signed to himself before heading out the car and into the building. The smooth jazz music played from the band on the far side of the building, it was ameture night and the band playing seemed to have gotten the crowds attention. Chance made his way to the bar top to see his favorite bartender working. "Hey Tim! How's the evening going for ya?" "Alright buddy, how have you been lately? Haven't seen you around the block in a while" The barkeep laughed as he stood in front of Chance washing a dirty mug with his rag. "What can I get for ya?" "Just a beer, going easy tonight" Chance smiled as he took a seat and waited for his drink. The barkeep placed the tall brew in front of his customer and left to attend to other matters. Chance picked up the glass and quickly downed his beverage, placing the empty glass on the table as he continued to listen to the music. It turned 1am as the band started to wrap up, there were 9 empty glasses next to Chance as the giant struggled to get up from his seat and head outside, stepping over his own feet in the process. The ride home was a blur to him, getting inside his own apartment was a difficult task as well, but Chance managed to open the door and stumble inside. He was just glad he purchased a town home that was 10 minutes away from downtown. Tossing his keys aside, he took off his shirt revealing in the moonlight the lash marks that covered his body from front to back. Making his way into the kitchen Chance got a six pack from the fridge and went to his room. Sitting on his bed, Chance closed his eyes but he could still make out the images of blood and the sounds of screaming from his mind. "Please, just go away...." Taking a deep breath, Chance opened one of the cans and began to drink away. Unknown to the tall giant, his wolf's tail flopped on the sheets behind him and Chance would growl in between his breathing.

Chance left through the revolving glass doors exiting the headquarters of the SS66 building, done with his work for the day the captain sought to enjoy the nigh a little bit with friends from college before he would have to return in the morning. Orders were given to him fro his superiors that he would be getting a new batch of FNG's so he would have his own squad to command in the field. Chance was promoted to Captain a year ago, now was his time to get out of the office and back into the action with his other agents. Reaching into his pocket the muscular soldier took out his keys to his Mazda and unlocked the vehicle with the click of its security button. Entering the freshly cleaned, black leather interior vehicle Chance closed the door and started the car; making his way towards the city. Lowering his window let the warm night air enter the car as Chance lit a cigarette and inhaled the intoxicating fumes, taking in its warm relaxing glow before puffing the scent from his nose. The black car rushed through the empty highway before taking the exit to hit downtown, the nightlife was just starting up as crowds of civilians walked through the streets looking for a good time somewhere or with someone. Chance pulled his car into the parking lot of his favorite bar, an Irish pub that's been open since Chance was 19. The owners are family friends of his, so it made it easy for Chance to consume free beer and liquor. The tall man left his car after turning the roaring engine off and secured the electronic lock once again before entering the establishment. Inside was the mixed aroma of cigarettes and beer, comforting to Chance as he made his way past the full tables of people and to the bar. "Anna, you back there girl?" Chance shouted over the noise of the televisions that played the football game for the night. 5 flat screen monitors hung all over the floor with two stationed at the bar for its viewers. A female came from the back room which held most of the extra bottles and cans of drinks, standing at 5'8'' with phoenix red hair woman who walked in from of Chance and leaned over the bar to give him a kiss on the cheek. "How's it going hun?" "Fine, here for a couple rounds then I'm heading home" Chance explained, lighting another cigarette and sitting down on the high chair stool. Usually people's feet would dangle in the air, but Chance was tall enough for his feet to rest comfortably on the ground. "How's business?" "Booming as always, if you're heading home can you feed the dogs and let them out of the laundry room? I worry about them sometimes" Anna stated as she began to pour a tall glass of Bud Light, once the extra foam rose to the top and spilled down the side she placed the cup in front of her customer. Chance placed his large hand over her small one before she could let go. Anna blushed a bit before looking into Chances eyes. "I will, just don't stay out too late tonight. I wanna see you before I go to work babe" With the Chance gave a wink and let her hand free as he took the tall glass and drank some of its contents. Anna smiled as she shook her head, returning to work. The night dragged on, Chance consumed a couple more glass' of beer and some shots before going home, he let both his St. Bernard dogs out of the laundry room before heading to his room for some sleep. Taking off his uniform and boots, Chance stumbled to his bed in his boxers and white beater shirt before passing out underneath the blankets. The next morning Chance sat on a bench outside of headquarters taking a drag of his smoke, he had time before he had to report in. Looking down at some documents in his hand the captain read the profiles of some people he would be assigned with for his until. "Looks like a good bunch, I'll whip them into perfect fighting standers or it'll kill them" Chance flicked his cigarette bud to the side, there was a shadow standing in front of him. Gene: Reporting for duty sir. Chance: Relax dude, this is a brand new agency, remember? No one is superior here. And I'm not that much older than you, so don't call me sir. Let's keep it casual. Gene: Alright, fair enough. I'm Gene. Chance: Chance. Nice to meet you. Gene: Ditto. Chance: Let's head inside for our briefing then.

I just finished my sign up, I was kind of confused about the manifests and their companions..do they have their own bodies or are they spirits of some kind? I have mine as a spirit but if its different I can change it.

Name: Chance Heartlock Age: 25 Gender: Male Personality: Silent but stern, Chance remains quiet unless he has something important to say, otherwise he just listens and pays attention to the environment and people around him. Being brought up to only serve and commanded to do what his masters say, Chance hasn't had the experience to truly live his own life by freedoms grasp. Appearance: Chance is a white male standing tall at 6'4'' with a muscular built body, brown hair hanging down to the length of his shoulders and hazel eyes that change colors from time to time. Chance wears black sweat pants that drag a bit at the cuff and a white short sleeve shirt, his scars can be see on his arms and on his face as they run down his eyes and the side of his cheeks. Chance wears no shoes since he's in and out of the church all day long running errands and keeping busy. History: Chance barely remembers his own childhood, when he was 12 yeas old his father had died of a rare illness in thier families history; so his mother had to work a lot to keep shelter over their heads and food on the table. She even had to resort to prostitution at times, Chance did his best to help around the house and neighborhood to save money. When Chance turned 17 his mother was caught during the night and was brought to jail and later executed when officials found out a priest at the church bred her body. Chance was adopted by the Prophehetism temple to the public as a sign of love. To Chance though proved to be the opposite, the church gave the boy 20 lashings marking his body from head to toe, breaking his spirit. They performed the ritual on him while he was bleeding out, the spirit was absorbed into his body saving the child and granting him with a powerful yet dangerous companion. Since then, Chance has lived at the church obeying their every command against his will. Disobeying them or the priests would mean punishment and beatings, food restrictions and more chores. Chance has never left the city limits, every time he sees children having fun and excitement it makes Chance angry with rage, for his own childhood was never carefree or free for him. He does not know why the people cannot see the churches deception, but he gave up on caring a long time ago. Attacks & abilities: Natures Wrath - Lifting his might arm into the air and smashing it down onto the ground, Chance creates a large shock wave that vibrates through the pavement to rise up like a title wave and flow towards his surrounding enemies. Inner Demon - Concentrating all of his anger and clearing his own mind, Chance can expand his muscles causing his body to grow taller and more buff than he already his. The side effect to this ability is that Chance goes into a blind rage and mistakes friends for foes if they get in his way. Angels Cry - A loud sonic boom is created in a single path direction when Chance expands his arms to their full length at his sides. With a swift motion of bringing them together to clap causes the violent shock wave that can clear a path through a forest with ease. ~ Later ~ Atonement - Chance gets on one knee and begins to pray verses from the Prophehetism scriptures, the surrounding people that hear his voice begin to gain more energy and their flesh wounds heal. This takes a great deal of life force from Chance, leaving him vulnerable and defenseless when he's finished. Blasphemer's Toll - Again, Chance strikes the ground with his mighty fist, but this time large chunks of the ground shoot into the air and levitate for a moment. When Chance glares at his enemy in sight the large pieces of earth break apart into sharp shards and rain down onto the assailant. Prophet's Name: Lord Cronos Gender: Male Special Power(s): Fire Wall - A small crack of fire emerges from the pal of Cronos' hand, flying away from his position the small crack of fire grow into a large 10 foot wall of fire, 200 feet wide. Providing protection and a means of escape. Open Minded - Lord Cronos found a way to enter the mind of any person with ease and control their very thoughts and actions while the puppet remain unaware of their actions. Spit Fire - Cronos simply snaps his fingers and a stream of lava spurts towards his enemies with lighting fast speed, leaving a burning trail of molten lava on the ground. Personality: Lord Cronos is very cunning, able to talk his way out of risky situations and persuade people to be on his side. He is a very dangerous man, killing to him is like sport, those who survive can live only to be hunted the next day. Cronos will use whatever he can to use others for their services, when he is done with them he eliminates the puppet. ~ Later ~ Heaven's Light - Dark clouds come into view over Lord Cronos as he summons a single bolt of electricity into his hand, clenching his fist to charge his attack all the mage has to do is aim at his enemy and the bolt of lightning fires without hesitation. Cruel Intentions - This is a stronger ability than Open Minded, small red orbs are generated by Cronos' magic and inserted into the body of his puppet host, slowly he gains full control over their very mind, body, and soul for life if enough orbs are inserted and the human is weak minded. History: Lord Cronos lived in the 1500s and was thought to be a kind and gentle mage of the forest, but he had a dark side to his life that no one knew about. Being devout to the Prophehetism Church was his cover when he would assist them in their teachings and message across the lands. Lord Cronos dabbled in the dark arts and practiced spells, incantations and summonings that were though to be forgotten in the world of magic. The Prophehetism church caught wind of his side work and sought to end his life, for if the people knew he was connected to the church with his dark magic it would disgrace their name. One night a clan of priests and summoners arrived at his woodland cottage and placed a spell on the mage, ceiling him inside an ancient artifact until he was needed for their use. Sealed away for centuries, Lord Cronos developed his powers internally through meditation. One day though he was summoned and casted into Chance's body, saving the boy in the process and staying with him as he grew. Lord Cronos could feel the dark side of Chance's mind grow and manipulates it to his advantage and personal use. Lance had to use the restroom for a moment on Michael's ship, after the new human male came on board things were a bit tense. But he proved to be on the good side, but they still kept an eye on him. Brash'una left for his ship moments later, expressing concern about the new male but Lance swore to keep an eye on him. That's when Lance realized...he needed to go to the bathroom really, really bad. The lion hybrid searched all over the ship, getting lost in between the cargo hold and the crew quarters in between his search. But he finally managed to locate the facilities smiling the tall creature entered after squeezing his body through the small door meant for humans. Lance was finished within a couple minutes, when he left the bathroom and got back to the bridge everyone was gone. "Where in the world are they?" The large lion sniffed the air and ground for a little tracing their scents, some seem to spit and separate towards different directions of the ship. Lance noticed too that Michael's ship was moving itself, moving at very fast speed at that. With a sudden crash the whole bridge shook violently sending sparks and wires across the bridge, Lance was tossed to one of the metal poles hard; his body made a dent in the metal bending it in half. The lion hybrid shook hid head, more crashing and flying around the room took place sending the lion to the room and then down to the floor. "What's going on!?!?!" Lance slowly got up, he could see the lights of the shop flickering and the power slowly dieing, the lion stood up and held onto the wall as he guided himself towards the cockpit. He saw Michael bleeding from his head as he piloted his shit through the barrage of laser fire coming from an unknown source. The human looked behind himself and stared up to meet Lance's glare. "What are you still doing here? You're suppose to be with Brash'una in his ship, didn't you listen to the plan?" Michael raised his voice as another shot hit the outter hull of his ship. Both beings held on tight to whatever they could so as not to go flying about. "I was occupied, who's firing at us?" "A Vamtyr ship, they found us so we seperated into groups. If I were you I'd call Brash'una and have him pick you up Lance." Michael swiftly navigated his ship through another volley of laser blasts, none managed to hit the ship this time. "What about you?" Lance knelt behind the pilots seat. "I'm just causing a scene, the others need time to get away so I'm providing the distraction. As long as they get away then it's all fine" Michael cocked a smile as he pressed a couple of buttons on his console, automatically the ship's weapons came online and began to return fire. "Yes! They're still up and running" The human male cheered as his weapons unleashed a devastating blow at their attacker, but it still wasn't enough to get rid of them forever. More shots fired fired at the ship, an explosion tossed the two creatures about without warning, one of the engines burst through the hull causing a hull breach. The computer automatically shut the area down but power and speed were cut dramatically, soon they would be sitting ducks. "We have to abandon ship, if they catch either of us it'll be the end." Lance groaned as he stood up slowly, he could see Michael unconscious over his control board. The hybrid picked the human up with one hand and placed his body over the hybrids shoulder, using his tail to wrap around Michael's waist for safety. Another crashing sound echoed through the bridge, the Vamtyr's were trying to board their ship; Lance gave a mighty growl as he dashed towards the rear of the ship. He remembered the bracelet Brash'una gave him, instantly he pressed it. Both beings were ripped down molecule by molecule until they vanished from Michael's ship and onto Brash'una's ship. Brash'una walked over to Lance and greeted the lion, only to see Michael injured and passed out over his shoulder. Both Brash'una and Lance looked at one another for a moment. "We need to Talk" Both said simultaneously.

OOC: So.....let's get back to this RPG and ignore the rantings of the character obsessed chick. News about the mission to Mars shook everyone differently, some emotions were hidden while others were shown with negative results. After the other crew members departed from the bridge, Micheal requested to have a conference with Brash'una and Lance as they were trying to leave. "I'd like to speak with both of you later, if you don't mind? I'll see you in my quarters in about an hour." Both creatures looked at one another then nodded back to Micheal before walking down the corridor, they could hear more talking echo behind them as they made their way towards the kitchen. Brash'una stopped momentarily when they were far enough to be left alone, Lance stopped a little further after he noticed his ally wasn't walking anymore. "Is there something on your mind?" Lance questioned. "Will you be alright Lance? Things seem to be progressing but I'm not sure how you'll react to a situation where more than information lies on the line." "What do you mean? I think things through carefully before I taken any course of action and wouldn't risk the lives of my friends. I did my best to warn you guys when those Vamtyr were about to execute their ambush on you guys at the beach. What more do you need to know?" Lance was a bit caught off guard and upset at the question, though he hasn't know his traveling companion for long it was such a random question. "If things are to get hectic and out of control, we may be separated in the long run at any time. I know you're a survivor and true to your word, but I just wanted to know your position. We have more people on our side, so it seems, but we have to stick to the main objective to rid ourselves of these vermin. I'm going to head back to the ship and rest for a moment, we have an hour before our meeting. We'll meet back on this ships bridge then" Bash'una tapped at the wrist band on his arm, instantly he was warped out of sight, leaving Lance in the lightly lit corridor alone. The lion thought for a moment about Mars, from what he heard when he was growing up it was the second planet within the inner ring that was conquered by the Vamtyr without a fight. Lance turned back around and continued to walk, there was a door with a bright light coming out from the opening, Lance's ears could hear some faint noises coming from the room. The lion hybrid slowly entered, seeing a human male conversing with a girl he had seen before when they were on the beach, but having a closer look at her lance noticed she was different like he was. A hybrid herself, but mixed with a different animal he had never seen before. "Hey Lance, thanks for the warning about the Vamtyr's on the beach, we would have been goners if you hadn't found them" Okryuu said as he walked in front of the tall lion, Lance extended his hand towards the human. He had seen him before when they first got to the ship, but he left moments later. "Okryuu, I didn't realize you came back from your little trip during the whole fight. What timing." The human placed his hand in the air, obviously Lance's meaty hand overpowered and completely covered the human hand and wrist. Lance noticed the hybrid behind the human finished eating her meal that was on the counter, both looked at one another for a long time before anything else was said. "You would be?" "Lee is my name" The wolf hybrid shook hands with Lance, more than that they both walked in a circle sniffing one another like dogs would do. "Your scent is strong, and a bit dirty. I can smell metal and blood mixed in." "You call me dirty? You've been in the jungle for a while, thats for sure" Lance stood tall once again looking down at the two, his nose still sniffed the air as a weird scent crossed his path. "But what's this other smell?" "That would be him, the scent of a female lingers on him still." Lee giggled a little, Lance blushed at the thought. Okryuu smiled a little as he scratched the back of his head, the three conversed and grabbed a bite to eat in the process. Lance's back pocket vibrated a little, the small computer he brought along had a message from his friend at the Lemur Space Station. Lance took out the small pad seeing the screen light up, his friend Zacke appeared on the screen. "...Lance, I hope you get this my friend because the Lion Court cannot help you any further. Since your escape with that being the Vamtyr have been asking about your connection with him. The Lion Court has no idea who he is and nor do we, because of this we cannot extend our protection any longer Lance. They have ordered for your termination, the Lion Court cannot do anything else. Be careful my friend, you and your friend have been identified by the Vamtyr and you're being hunted. Please, take care and stay safe Lance. We know you'll come through..." The transmission ended, everyone in the kitchen fell silent after hearing the warning message from the other lion hybrid. "Whoa, that big Lance. Brash'una and yourself got a bounty on your heads ordered by the Vamtyr" Okryuu broke the silence between the three. "Don't worry, you guys will be safe with this lively bunch. We have enough ammo and strength to whip all these metal heads." Lee took another bite of her bread, Lance simple sighed to himself thinking about their next move to make.

Lance didn't take his eyes off the main viewing screen or the little holographic screens that showed the space that surrounded the ships, his eyes could spot any movement in the cold environment better than any human or computer sensor could. Brash'una made some adjustments in the pilot's seat, working with Adun on getting close enough to the other ships for when they transport over there to meet up. Lance's tail swished from side to side on the metal floor, after leaving the atmosphere of Nightshade the ships were left adrift until they could think of an idea. The lion had hopped they would find their answers on Nightshade, that's why he left Jupiter in such a hurry with Brah'una. "What do you think Lance? A bunch of humans trying to find a solution to the very problem you have, this could be some a coincidence or just luck" Brash'una spoke up, never taking his eyes off his computer console. The lion sighed as he lowered his head a little as he rubbed his eyes, staring off to space for long period of time wore him out. Then the lion felt the sting of his cut he got from that Vamtyr, he completely forgot about it until he touched the area. "Your mostly driven by the knowledge you're getting by learning from their actions and technology" Lance smiled, Brash'una gave a mental chuckle as he looked behind himself to see Lance take a seat at his chair, the little holographic screens followed the lion to his spot. "Mostly yes, but these Vamtyr's are worthy opponents. Worthy, but very deadly and must be taken care of quickly before they take care of us" Brash'una finished his work and turned himself around in his chair to face the lion. "Adun, heal Lance's wound before we leave for the other ship" A small red light scanned the lion until it found his cut about his right eye, the spot started to heat up and sting a little but within seconds Lance's cut disappeared and the pain was gone. The lion was astonished, but his questions about the treatment would have to wait until they came back from the other ships. Both Brash'una and Lance got up from their seats and were warped to Micheal's ship, they were in an empty corridor that was dimly lit by the small floor lights. "I'll go try to find the captain, I'm sure we're all wondering where we're going to head next" With that Brash'una walked away, Lance dediced to explore the ship more since he didn't get to much last time, he ran into the child he saved earlier. She looked up at the lion. "Would you like this back now?" Loreley asked as she began to undress from his shirt, Lance quickly stopped her. "No please, just keep it. Seeing a female naked isn't something I'm use to and its not something I'm really comfortable with" Lance said, Loreley was puzzled. "Why?" "Never you mind child, on my world when you see a female naked it means you're ready to mate. But its not at your age so we'll leave it at that" Lance walked away from the child, a little angry but he tried to calm himself. After a while everyone met back on the bridge of the ship to discuss their future plans, the child mentioned something to the crew: "Well, as the ancient verse that I was taught as a child goes: To destroy those who would vanquish thee You must find the kingdoms three The first of these you will find among the stars That brilliant, brilliant sapphire, Mars So I think we need to visit Mars. That might be where we can finally start to figure out how to stop the Vamtyrs once and for all. This will be dangerous, so you do not need to join us if you do not want to. But if you don't, then you will have to fight the vamtyr's for the rest of your lives. I don't know about you, but I don't want to live like that. So who will join us?" "Three Kingdoms?" Lance whispered to himself, he didn't think destroying the Vamtyr's would require such efforts from three different locations. Lance let out a low growl of anger and disappointment, his home planet was on a thin time limit and now this new wasn't any better. "So Mars is the stop then, alright. We'll leave after getting everything is taken for account and when everyone is prepared to go. We'll keep radio silence until we leave, that clear?" Micheal looked around, everyone agreed. "Just one more question" Lance spoke up. his anger was starting to show as his growling vibrated a little "Are you positive it's Mars, do you steak you life on it?" The others looked at Lance puzzled, Loreley nodded her head without hesitation. Brash'una looked as the lion hybrid excuse himself from the group for a moment.

Lance rolled on th ground after being knocked down by one of the Vamtyr's claws, shaking his head to keep himself awake the lion looked up to see he was about to be smashed into the ground by the mechanical claw. The lion barely made it out of the way as the wave of sand exploded in the air after impact, Lance got to his feet and jumped on the mechanical crabs back, slashing the metal to shreds until he got to the core wires. Lance sunk his head inside the beast and ripped the wires out with his teeth, sparks of electricity flew in the air and shocked the lion a little but th job was done, the Vamtyr was disabled. The large crab fell on its belly as Lance slid off the shell and back onto the beach, his ears picked up some noise that was close to him. The lion turned his head to see Micheal give cover to Brash'una by firing his weapon at the mechanical scorpion. Brash'una moved swiftly through creatures striking claws and used his psionic energy to form daggers from his hands and struck the monster with one fell swoop, more seemed to come from the forest, about another dozen Vamtry's big and small. "Are you alright big guy?" Micheal asked, he saw the wound above Lance's right eye was still bleeding, the cut was deep from his encounter in the jungle. "Nothing too serious to worry about, I'm just glad I'm not alone with these things. I think this is the last bunch of them though." Lance took a knee to catch his breath. Brash'una noticed the mechanical creatures were coming fast now, like they were in a haste. "Do you believe the signal from the one you destroyed earlier wasn't for outer space, but for another cologne here?" "Possibly, I'm not sure how they do it but I know Nightshade is crawling with them." Lance got to his feet again with the aid of Micheal, Brash'una went to intercept the Vamtyr's. Micheal reloaded his gun quickly before following behind, Lance was about to join the duo until he noticed a scorpion Vamtyr attacking something. The lion thought to get rid of it quickly since it was one of the large more powerful monsters, rushing over to the area he saw that it was taken down by some gunfire. After making it over the sand dune Lance saw a female on the ground in red, another who's clothing was ripped off...seemed to be burnt somewhat. Lance was careful to approach the scorpion, but realized it was out of order with the damage done to it, Lance went over to the female quickly. She was injured badly, the naked girl dove on top of the woman in red with her knife ready to strike. "Who are you?" The small girl asked, her marking on her body reminded Lance of his tribal training back home. Lance took off his shirt and placed it over the girls body so she would have something to cover herself, his short sagged a lot on the child but at least it kept her covered. "Lance is my name little one, we must get you and this woman out of the area. There is danger here" Lance scooped up the woman in his arms and used his tail to wrap around th girls waist and lifted her in th air when he stood on his feet again. Lance's tail moved the child onto his shoulders, the girl held onto Lance's head grabbing his ears and hair for a grip and her legs hung over his meaty shoulders. His tail still held the child by the waist, Lance looked down and noticed the woman in red was bleeding on him. "We should go back now, Loreley is my name big kitty" The girl tugged on Lance's ears more, causing the lion to growl slightly. Without hesitation Lance ran as fast as he could over the sand dune and traveled back to the ship, he saw that Micheal and Brash'una were finishing off another Vamtyr, the others started to retreat back to the jungle. The cost was clear and Lance walked towards the others. "Who is she? Haven't seen her before" Micheal stated as he reloaded his gun again, rubbing the back of his neck after stretching. Micheal then looked up on Lance's head and noticed the marked girl on his shoulders continuing the pull on the lions ears. "She would need some medical attention, let's make a quick run back to the ship. I don't believe we'll be safe here for long and the sun is starting to set" Brash'una spoke up, he was right to worry.

The little meeting with the human named Micheal went by more smoothly that lance could have predicted, although when a gun was pulled to Brash'una Lance was ready to eviserate the little being. The lion was thankful it ended peacefully, they were escorted to the ship moments later where they met more humans, the bunch was lively and organized. Lance could tell that Brash'una was joyed and going to have a handful learning about their culture, the lion was in th same boat. The only human males he's ever seen are the ones on the old scientists in documentaries about Jupiter's birth, the rest have been females or other lion hybrids. So far though, they seemed nice and reasonable enough to talk to and have simple conversations, Brash'una and Micheal talked around the ship talking with one another. Lance just stayed on the bridge looking at the computer consoles they had, similar to his planets technology but a little low tech. The large lion knelt down and looked at a small screen, there was a small signal coming from outside the ship apparently, weak but still strong enough to be noticed by the ships sensors. "Ummm, hello? Anyone else see this" Lance looked around, but he was the only on the bridge that he saw. "Well, its not too far from here. I can take a quick peek" The large lion stood on his feet again as he left the ship and began walking on the beach, he used his mini computer to trace the signals source. Thats when Lance noticed the small thin smog of smoke coming from the rocks. "Could it be that wrecked Vamtyr?" The lion reached his destination to get his answer, the mechanical being was sending a small homing signal out to other Vamtyr's, but it seemed too weak to reach out to the planets atmosphere. With a single smooth motion, Lance extended his claws and struck the metal shell until pieces were sent flying in the air, the signal died instantly. "Just to be safe" The massive lion stood staight up once more, only to have his nose twitch slightly, he smelt something sickly sweet in the air and it seemed to be coming from the jungle area near by. "But that smells like..." without hesitation Lance began to sprint towards the direction of the scent, not caring where he was going but trying to find the source of the smell. He came into a clearing of grass and trees which provided ample amounts of shade to the lion, standing and still smelling he looked up at one of the trees to see a fruit. It was an apple, something that reminded Lance of his home planet Jupiter, he wasn't expecting a small fruit like this to grow anywhere else besides his home planet. Lance sat down cross legged on the ground as he simple just looked at the fruits that hung on the branches, his tail swished from side to side in the air in a smooth motion. Lance could hardly heat Brash'una through the wrist band when he was called upon. "Lance, where did you go off too?" Still the lion just remembered his mother on Jupiter handing him the fruit when he was a cub, the thought brought the lion a moments peace as he remembered the happy memory. "Lance...." The lion's ears popped up as he was brought back to reality by Brash'una's voice. "Yes....sorry I was, ummmm taking care of something. What's the matter Brash'una?" Lance stood up and began to talk back to the beach, rubbing his eyes with his free hand. "Besides the information I've gathered from these human I was wondering where you ventured off to. So I had Adun do a scan of the area, find anything interesting?" "That Vamtyr we saw from space was giving out a small signal, maybe to other's out in orbit or something. I'm not sure it if worked but I made sure to dispose of it for good, besides that I'm just enjoying the area. Quite lovely if I say so myself, I'll be back at the ship momentarily." With that Lance cut off his communication and used his nose to find the salt water of the beach, behind the lion was something slithering on the ground, something he couldn't even detect. Without notice it bound both of the Lion's ankles tight, before he could protest his feet were swept from the ground and bound together now as his body hit the ground. "Dammit, that hurt" Lance moaned in discomfort, when he looked behind himself he saw a Vamtyr, but it was in a different form. A large shelled creature with two massive claws where the wires came from, just as Lance was about to attack a jolt to electricity hit the lion hard and fast causing Lance to roar loud. The pain only lasted seconds, but it was enough to subdue the creature as Lance started to lose his vision, Lance gave a final roar hoping it would echo through the trees. His call for help was cut short when a new Vamtyr creature came out and struck the lion over the head with its claw causing the deep cup above his right eye. Lance growled at the pain, but his hands had already been bound with wires as he was quickly tied to a thick tree. When lion opened his eyes he could see what appeared to be an army of Vamtyr's slowly making their way to the beach, something overcame Lance in his soul. His eyes turned a shade of milky white and his body mass grew intensionally, enough for the lion to free himself from his bonds and stand up, claws extended and body ready. The lion jumped past some of the mechanical creatures and sprinted towards the beach faster than the Vamtyr's could travel. "Lance, my sensors are detecting mass enemy movement near you. My master Brash'una has been informed of the threat....your wrist band detects a skin tare on your body, do you need to be warped from the area?" Adun spoke through the wrist band, the lion ignored the voice as he continued to find his way back to the beach. Finally seeing the light of the sun reflect off the sand and the clear ocean come into view, Lance made a final jump and landed on the hot sand running on his hands and feet like his animal ancestors use to. His bleeding continued from his cut down the side of his face and onto the sand at his feet, some drops managed to catch on his shirt. Lance stopped and turned around, the creatures were coming faster than he though, and Lance didn't have enough time to get to the ship and warn the others. Again, he sucked in as much air as he could to let out a mighty roar. He would have to hold off as many as he could before help arrived, facing the mechanical army Lance charged the front lines knocking a few down in the process.

Lance sat in his chair a little uncomfortable after the warp transport he just went through, his species just had doors to get in and out of a ship and it was that simple. The popping holograms of computer screens caught Lance's attention, the technology of Brash'una's people was far more advanced and complex than he could ever have dreamed. "Lance?" Brash'una turned around in his chair again after he finished his deeds with the ships computer. The lions shook his head slightly to get rid of the dizziness he was feeling. "You don't look well" "My apologies, this is all so new and mind blowing. Not to mention..." Lance remembered he had to leave the Lemur Space Station, he would have no idea what the fate of his friends and family would turn out to be. "nevermind...so what did you want to know about my race?" "Everything, start from the beginning if you would" "Well, as far as I know from the early moons of former "Earth"....I think thats what they called it long ago. Scientists found a way to make a new warrior race mixed with one of their planets stronges creatures, the lion. The scientists of that era knew their planet was slowly withering away, so they took their research and a couple of female human volunteers to Jupiter where a single cologne was forming already. The females were given the medicine to bear a lion cub and regular human females as well, the experiment was a success. More and more lions and females were born leading the Lion breeds to grow and populate Jupiter. Eventually we managed to make a space station, the one we just escaped from." Lance sat uncomfortably in his seat shifting from side to side. "Interesting, a whole civilization based on an experiment that thrived and expanded throughout the generations. You're scientific advancements are at the point where my people were when we started learning about other forms of technology." Brash'una stated. "Sir, we are an hour away from our destination of Nighshade. Apparently, several ships have penetrated the atmosphere and landed at these coordinates" Adun enlarged a image of Nightshades atmosphere, then closer to where it seemed to be a beach with a small stream of smoke came from something metallic. Lance instantly knew what the mechanical being was. "That's a Vamtyr!" "It would seem so, taken care of really well I might add." Brash'una closed the window and entered into his ships computer to go towards that area. Lance dug into his pocket and brought out a small medallion pin, a silver pendent of a lion's paw print. The lion stood up and hovered over Brash'una as he looked up at the lion puzzled. "Take this, for my breed it's a sign of marriage to a female, but when given to another person its a sign of protection. Any trouble you might come into I'll take care of it, we lions have more strength than we let others know of." Brash'una simple took the pendent and placed it in his cloak, Lance stayed standing as they came closer and closer to Nightshade.
-
Lance rubbed his throat a little, it was sore from the tight grasping claw of the Vamtyr from the earlier confrontation. A couple of minutes after Brash'una left for the port Lance went into his room, all of his personal belongings were tosses and scattered about. His bed and closet were both destroyed, Lance figured they were trying to find the computer that sent out the signal, the one in Lance's back pocket. The lions ears popped up to the noise of distant foot steps coming closer and closer, eventually the sounds echo dimmed at the beings stood in fornt of Lance's door. "LANCE! Where are ya buddy?" Zacke yelled as he slowly made his way inside, he was followed by the female Amber. She held onto Zacke's tail and followed close behind the other lion. "In here" They finally met, Amber went and ave Lance a hug as Zacke patted his friend on the back. "Zacke, they found out I was making those transmission...but I can't understand how they got through my system" "Remember, they've assimilated knowledge from distant planets Lance, they could have eventually found a way to find you. It's a good thing they didn't get to you" Zacke saw the mutilated body of the Vamtyr outside the apartment door. "But you didn't do this alone, did you?" "No, someone answered my distress call...but now we might have to leave. But I couldn't go without explaining myself to the Lion Court of my actions. The Space Station might be in real big trouble." Lance explained, the trio fell silent for a moment, the time they feared the most was at hand. They knew their actions would cause their family and friends harm but it was their only shot at fighting back and getting rid of the mechanical tyrants. Amber held onto Lance's large hand as tight as she could. "You have to leave....we can take care of ourselves but you have to go on with this. This being may be able to help us after all. With you on his side watching his back he'll be more safe" Zacke broke the silence, they all were thinking the same thing. "Just, just don't die on us Lance" Zacke said as he made his way out the apartment, he stuck his head out to check and see if the coast was clear before signaling to the others to come out. Quickly they left the building and made their way to the port, the Vamtyr's forces were all over the place, high and low with different types of mechanical bodies. "Which port number is he at?" Amber asked as she withdrew her pistol from her back holster. "56-Alpha, it's not too far from here. I think I can make it on my own, you guys are in too deep right now. I don't want you guys to get harmed" Lance said as he gave his final hugs to his friends. Lance knelt down to be at Amber's height, she wrapped her arms around the lions neck and kissed his on the cheek before embracing his hug. "Come back to me my love" The female let her grip go as she watched her love run towards the port entrance, never to know if he would return back to her. Lance sprinted down the corridors trying to find a ship that didn't belong in the usual spot., after a couple of minutes he found the ship at the right spot. Lance took out his small computer to check the time. "Made it with an hour to spare" Putting his computer away Lance ran onto the locking platform, he couldn't find a way to enter the ship, it was different than most he's seen before.

OOC: Sorry for the late post. About an hour after his arrival Lance met up with his friends, had a couple of drinks and danced with them on the floor. The music was alive and swayed the crowd with favorite artists and genres of music they all enjoyed, when the night continued to drag on the small group of friends went back to the bar. Zacke and his companion went to the second floor to get something to munch on, while Lance and his female friend Amber stayed where they were. "Lance, is everything o.k? Lately you've been making a lot of trips to the surface below, it's getting more and more dangerous as these things show up and multiply. I know you're worried about your mother, but we have enough troubles up here as it is, the stations defense is weakening like the lions on Jupiter. I just don't know how long we can last now a days" Amber's words hit Lance hard, no one liked to talk about how their race was slowly falling apart. It never brought a smile to anyone's face, all the distress calls have been answered by the fellow outer ring planets and their resources were slowly withering away. Amber moved closer to Lance, standing besides the large muscular lions for some comfort, Lance placed his hand around her waist and held her tight. "I know, but I just have to make sure she's alright. Since those things came we lost so many lion cubs while they were training and women from random village attacks. My mother isn't safe down there and she continues to stay while others are moving up here. She's a stubborn one" Lance took a swig of his drink quickly before it got cold, he almost spat the contents in his mouth out when he noticed some of the Vamtyr's roaming the club. There were only three that he saw, but even one was an annoyance to the crowd, but they were ignored since they were obviously out numbered three to a building full of lions. Thats when Lance felt something hit his back, semi rough but strong enough to get the lion's attention as Lance turned around and looked to see who was there. His eyes looked down to see a cloaked figure looking into his eyes. "Hold fast Lion breed, I am simply here due to your distress call." Lance looked at Brash'una oddly. "How is it your voice sounds, distant even when you stand before me?" He yelled over the noise of the crowd. "I am speaking telepathically to you." He reached up and pulled down the cloth that covered his face, revealing he didn't have a mouth or facial features besides eyes. "As you can see, I cannot speak to you physically, but psychically I can easily. Now, we must discuss your situation with this Vamtyr infestation. I will wait for you until you are ready to leave." With that the mysterious being cloaked himself and went into the shadows, Lance was speechless as he dug into his back pocket for his computer seeing that his distress call reached a couple of beings across then galaxy. He wasn't expecting any of them to answer so quickly though, Lance was brought back to reality when Amber placed her hand on Lance's arm shocking the lion a little. "Lance, what's the matter?" "Nothing, listen I have to go. There's someone I need to have an important talk with, I'll see you at work tomorrow Amber" With that Lance took out some currency to pay for the drinks they had for the night, he gave Amber a kiss on the forehead before making his way to the exit. His tail swished from side to side as he made his way past the dancing lions and human females, Lance looked behind himself giving the slightest nod. It was enough for the being to begin exiting as well. Lance finally made it outside and began his walk back towards his apartment, the street lights were brightly lit showing the path to any direction he was to head to, Lance's ear popped up when he heard steps walking along side of him. "You're a quick one" "It's only natural Lion Breed" "My name is Lance, I'm a communications operative here on the station. Its how I learned to send out those urgent calls without being caught by these monsters that plague our home." Lance stopped dead in his tracks as they made it outside of Lance's apartment, he turned to face the cloaked creature. "What I need to know before anything else is said, can you help us? You've seen how these things operate here, you know they won't attack thanks to their minimal forces on the station. But I need an honest opinion.....how long do we have?" "Thats unknown at this point Lio-Lance. Your race has the longest record for staying independent this long so I've heard. I was venturing to Nightside until I heard your call for help and you know how bad things are there. I'm called Brash'una, this is my first interaction with your kind...it's very interesting indeed. " Lance didn't get the clear answer he wanted as his ears lowered and his facial expression saddened, but at least it was honest. "Please, come in. I'm sure I can answer any questions you have and vice versa" Lance escorted the being inside the building. Both reached the floor where Lance resided, only to see the door broken into, nearly shattered to pieces. "What in the world...." Before Lance could finish, he was sent to the wall with a claw holding him by the throat, Brash'una backed up before the other claw could get a hold of him. The apartment building had been evacuated by the Vamtyr's when they discovered a weak signal source coming from the building, they last traced it to Lance's apartment. The mighty lion gave a vicious roar before extending his claws and grabbing onto the mechanical arm that pinned him to the wall, trying to pull it away from his throat to get air.

Although the Lemur Space Station maintained its independence from the Vamtyr's, the mechanical monsters didn't stop their rein over them; holding their breeding grounds on the planet Jupiter below hostage until their demands were made. No blood has been spilled yet by the invaders, but their very presence upsets the balance and peace the Lion Breed sought for ever since they colonized on the large planet many moons ago. Ever since former Earth, now know as Nightside, was taken over the inner planets defenses weakened and were crumbled by the mechanical beings. The Asteroid Field was thought to be a fortress of great magnitude if any danger were to come to the outer planets. Alas, they were fooled once again. Lance laid in his bed tossing and turning in a cold sweat, his constantly rolled over his own tail at random periods causing the lion some discomfort. His dreams kept him at bay against his own will, tormenting the lion with visions of their planet turning a dark shade of black like Nighside, the screams of the women that carried the hybrids echoed in his mind. The space stations set ablaze as it fell from orbit and down onto the planet below. "NO" Lance shot straight up from his bed, his sheets covering his legs as his upper body stood up. His breathing was faster than a human can comprehend as his body shivered from the sweat. The lion took his hand and rubbed his eyes a little to adjust to the light that came from his nightstand, it was late at night and he had slept through the afternoon. Lance looked out of his window to see the artificial sun start to dim, the street lights turned on instantly. The lion left his bed and removed his soaked shirt, still breathing hard as he ruffled his fur and found a new top to wear. There was a small red blinking light coming from the wall of his apartment, the video monitor had a new message for Lance. The lion walked over to the screen and pressed the commands to hear his message, the small bright light stung his eyes for a moment. The screen showed a human woman, around the age of 24 with two lions behind her, one of them was Lance's friend Zacke. The female was about 5'7'' with velvet red hair and "Lance it's Amber, baby whenever you get this give up a call. We're thinking about heading out tonight to Club XS, I'm buying drinks tonight so it's all good. Come out hun, we know you've been feeling down lately so we thought you could use a night to let loose. Love ya babe" The message ended when then screen went blue and slowly faded to black. Lance began to dial Amber's number, but the line was busy. He decided to leave a message. "Amber, I'll be there shortly hun. See you soon, and don't get too trashed before I get there" With that Lance hung up his call and grabbed his little computer from under his pillow before left his apartment building, walking down the busy streets seeing lions and human females alike talking and going about their lives. During his walk to the club he did hear interesting things from other Lion's conversations. "Did you hear, a space ship docked here a couple hours ago..." "There was this cloaked being that came out of the docking area, he looked scary..." "I hear the Vamtyr's were inspecting it without the permission form the Lion Court. When will they be leaving?..." More and more talk about the ship interested Lance, before he could think about it further Lance made it to his destination. He paid the cover charge and went inside, the building was packed tonight, 2 floors of dancing and several bars to quench the thirst of any beast. Lance went over to the bar and ordered a drink, unknown to Lance the computer in his back pocket lit up and beeped continuously.

~Jupiter's Surface~ Lance walked along side his mother, the 5'5'' female traveled in the shadow of her 6'7'' lion hybrid baby. Ever since the Vamtyr's came to Jupiter they restricted visitations from anyone coming from the Lemur Space Station that hovered above the planet. Countless battles have been fought by Lance's tribes to rid themselves of the menace, but all efforts seemed futile as the Vamtyr's army grew more and more every week. Supplies are down and so is moral for the lions. Lance's tail tied itself around his mothers waist loosely, even on his visit their village was patrolled by those mechanical beings of death; already some one Lance's childhood friends and neighbors were killed for trying to rebel. "Mother, please come with me to the station. These tin cans haven't took it over yet, and its much more peaceful up there. You don't need to be seeing death down here, especially not the ones of our friends and family" Lance broke the silence between the two, they walked the beaten path of the forest that lead to the beach. The teleporters locations were known by all the human women and hybrid lions just in case of emergency, the Vamtyr's could not venture near them thanks to the technology of the space station. "Lance, I'll be safe down here. I've seen death many moons before you have child, and though it saddens me as long as I know you're safe then that's all I need. You're father would want the same, which is why he left to get help from neighboring planets. Just be patient" Both stopped in front of the teleport gate, Lance knelt on his knee and gave his mother a goodbye. "Just be strong like your breed always has, don't let you human side stop you from doing your job" Lance nodded as he stood up once again and entered the blue array. ~ Lemur Space Station - Orbiting Jupiter ~ Within a second Lance stepped onto the cold metal surface of the Lemur Space Station, waiting there was his friend Zacke who was a lion breed as well. "Any news from the transmissions?" Lance asked as they both walked through the busy market place of the station. "We have gotten a couple replies from different planets Lance, but they're in worse shape than we are. Mercury is swarmed and declared dominated when the sun rose today, the asteroid field region is still putting up a fight and staying put. Our best chances would be to head out on our own and..." Zacke was cut off when a Vamtyr walked in front of the two lions, only a couple more inches taller than they were. Both lions extended their claws ans showed their teeth at the creature. "BEAT IT MONSTER!" Zacke roared, without hesitation the mechanical creature left their area. "Until they take over this space station, we rule here" Lance smiled as they continued to walk, eventually the two decided to meet later for diner and talk about their plans there. Lance went to his apartment and crashed on his bed, taking out his little computer from underneath his pillow to send out another coded distress message out to the other planets: "Lemur Space Station and Jupiter are in dire need of assistance from the Vamtyr's. Lion breed weakening, assistance needed ASAP!" The computer screen went black after the message was sent, Lance turned to his side and drifted to sleep.

The monitors connected to Ein's arm beeped loud in the silent one bed room, Ein's human form fooled the other humans into taking him into the hospital. Ein was conscious enough to hear that he had an arm fracture and 2 broken ribs, all other injuries were bruises from the fall or scratches from the werewolves. Ein's eyes opened slowly, the sun was high in the air already indicating it was about noon. Slowly the human body rose from his laying position and planted his feet on the ground, Ein was feeling light headed from the blood rush but shook it off. Slowly he rose from teh bed, only to transform into his lion form without thinking; giving a slight yelp as he stumbled to the wall using his arm to support his body. (Man that hurt!) Ein thought as he gritted his teeth together, his tail lashed from side to side knocking over the bedside table on the ground along with the food contents that were on top of it. "I gotta get back home, I can't even change back into human form like this" Ein whispered as he picked up the metal table and placed it on its wheels again. Ein's ears popped up, he could hear all the footsteps coming form outside of his room, the hospital floor was busy with staff and visitors. The lion also looked out of the window, it was booming with humans going about their lives; it would be hard to get back to the mountains from where he was. Besides that, he didn't know how bad the mansion was after the fire. Ein's ear popped to the back of his head after hearing a weird sound, he dismissed it until he heard something drop on the ground. The lion quickly looked behind himself to see a female nurse staring up at the tall muscular beast. With a sudden gasp of air, the nurse screamed to the top of her lungs; alerting all in the area of a problem. "Oh boy...." Ein covered his ears, he had no choice but to get out now. The lion took a couple steps back and lept out of the window, still holding onto one of the pipes on the concrete. Before any of the glass could hit the ground below, Ein made his way to the room and into the shadows of the laundry sheets. The lion panted as his body throbbed with pain from his injuries. "Master......someone...I could really use the help...." With that Ein passed out under the sheets as they blew in the wind, his body was easily covered by the blowing sheets. "At least I'll be safe.....for a while"

OOC: Yeah, I'm just going to ignore Tetra of Sound's post on her and my character meeting. Ein's head throbbed with pain as his vision slowly returned to him, his body was sore from the fight and the tumble down the stairs; but after being struck down by that large werewolf Ein was ready to call it a day. The distant sound fire engines roared in the air, they were coming up to the mansion which was now set ablaze by the intruders. Ein suddenly felt his body go limp in a pair of arms as he was lifted into the air, his master had returned in lion form, with time to spare for their escape before the fire fighters could see Ein in his lion form. "Young one, you must transform into your human state, they can heal your wounds better when you're human. You're strength must heal as well, I can go searching for those blasted creatures while you're recovering" The elderly lion whispered into his student's ear, Ein summoned all of his mental strength to morph into his human form, his master did the same right as the cars and fire engines pulled to the front of the mansion. "Here! I have my injured student!" "We'll take him sir, you must come with us as well" They quickly established a pulse and monitored Ein's vitals as they approached the hospital. The early morning sun rose in the sky as the light danced across Ein's room illuminating everything it touched. Ein laid in bed sleeping and resting his inner form. He couldn't help but remember the words that Werewolf told him: "Next time, I want a fair fight, no grunts and no injuries holding us back. Come ready to die!" What scared Ein the most was...the creature knew who he was. Could he also know about his master and what they've been doing all along?

Name: Lance Heartwell Age: 28 Gender: Male Race: Lion Hybrid Birthplace: The Lemu Space Station orbiting Jupiter Area you currently call home: The Lemu Space Station, houses both Lion males and human females who carry newborns inside of them. Training grounds are held on the planet Jupiter. Something strange about you: Thanks to the cross species experimentations the scientists from "old earth" did on the females, their newborns were born into Lion Hybrids capable of immense strength and agility. Due to harsh training and hunting skills learned while growing up, Lance was about to be a member of his clan that could communicate with modern humans. Lance is a team player, about helping others and team members reach their goals is his mission. He's very close to his lion family and human mother, along with the other female women on the space stations and Jupiter below. Lance took courses on weapon configuration and communications since he's been living at the Space station. The backside of his breed is that he cannot control his rage when he becomes too angry, his fangs and claws show and his muscle mass builds; setting Lance in a blind rage. Appearance: See Here! Other: A couple years ago, the Vamtyr's terror extended towards the outer ring planets, eventually they came to Jupiter while Lance was still growing up and training. His race fought the Vamtyr's as long as they could until they were outnumbered . Eventually they took rein over Jupiter, but not the Space station that hovers over the planet. The Lemu court has refused to give into their threats and use all their powers to repel the enemy, but their resources are slowly withering away. Lance recently heard that his home town was invaded by the Vamtyrs where his mother resides, he has yet to hear any news from her. His hidden communication links and transmissions with her have failed, Lance has grown more angry and impatient not knowing whats happening. He knows things on Earth are bad, but he would have never thought the mechanical monsters would terrorize his home and family. Being reckless now would jeopardize the colony's chance to stay free for the little time they have. Lance has sent many decoded messages for help across the planets to see if anyone would respond and aid the once proud Lion tribe.

Whats Your Favorite Type of Liquor/Alcoholic Beverage?
Shwa replied to Shwa's topic in General Discussion
You have no soul, my friend. Corona with a lime slice is where it's at. I mean, Coors isn't the bottom of the totem pole, but it's only a slight cut above natty ice.
For real? Corona is piss in a bottle, even with the lime it doesn't cover the horrible taste or that nasty brew. I like the White Russian drinks because of the taste, but I dont mind some tequila shots with a lime chaser....thats heaven ^.^ I do like Lunox's Bailey's Coffee, we call them Irish Coffee's though because we already know what's in them. They're delicious when your finished eating a meal, and real good in Irish Pubs. -
My iPod, every time I upload new songs or videos on it I just have to stay up and listen/watch them until I get tired..which takes a long time. If not that, the I just usually just stay up listening to random music.
