Mikhail grabbed a cup of warm coffee while the others retreated to the kitchen area, more talking could be heard from the group while the Russian stood looking outside. The dreary day made the scene seem so negative and yet calming at the same time, it was hard to believe so many creatures existed around the world, but apparently with todays meeting, the werewolf would continue to meet new beings of the supernatural like. The man took a sip of his coffee as he noticed some children playing a game of soccer outside in a vacant lot, their lives totally their own as they amused themselves with one anthers company and friendship. Mikhail laughed to himself for a moment before he sensed someone behind him, taking a glance back it was the man who had stepped in not too long ago, Kayin. The two exchanged glances for a moment before Kayin took his seat on the couch; continuing to sip his own beverage as he remained to himself. Mikhail turned back to the window and noticed more children to join the small group and make it a small gathering for their own pleasure. It was Kayin who broke the silence as he spoke. "So, how do you know Aikeen?" He questioned, it brought the Russian out from his concentration. "She found me...or her organization did at least, if she's even part of one. She had some interesting things to say to bring me here, but I must admit, I don't know why or how she even knew I was around" "I'd like to know that information as well. I can't even seem to add her to my kill count let alone track her whereabouts on a consistent scale. But, I was hired to do the task at hand, so I'm going to fulfill my side of the contract before pursuing personal gains". Mikhail slightly nodded as he took a sip of his coffee before taking a seat on the couch opposite to the man. His scent was a mysterious one, none like Mikhail has ever sensed before, he didn't know whether to be intrigued or shaken, a mixture of both seemed appropriate for this type of meeting. "So, haven't seen you before, I take it by you accent you're from Russia. There aren't many were's there, how have you been able to keep from showing up on the radar"? "My pack stays where we're welcomed, no more, no less. I'm the only one who's branched to the main city, but, I still keep to myself with my business." Mikhail sipped on his drink some more. "Interesting, well, congrats to you for accomplishing that, especially in a vampire ruled country. If they knew werewolves still roamed the area, they would hunt you all down relentlessly. Just make sure to keep out from their radar as well." "That hasn't been a problem so far, and hopefully wont in the future. I have no quarrel with the blood suckers, but if they start a fight with my family and myself, they'll get one in full force." Kayin nodded at the statement as Ivil came to the two to bring them fresh cups of coffee, both men thanked the human as they sat back in silence once more. The werewolf lit another cigarette and reclined in his chair. "Who else are we waiting for?" "Only a couple more people Misha, shouldn't be too long now. We're off to a great start" Ivil smiled before returning to the kitchen to join the other two, it made the werewolf smirk a little, he was excited none the less. "Impatient?" Kayin laughed a bit. "Just curious, and to find out whats the game plan, so to say" Both Kayin and Mikhail raised their coffee cups as they cheered the notion before enjoying their hot coffee.

This incident shouldn't be about gun control and now worrying parents concern over it, it should be about the victims of this tragedy and the loss they are now enduring because of this. The real debate should be accurate and detailed psychological profiling of disturbed individuals. If this man would have used an accelerate liquid, everyone would be up in arms over lighter fluid.

Mikhail grabbed his backpack as he looked out the window of his cab to the building they had parked in front of. One of the most quaint looking buildings he's seen, the invitation he had gotten with fancy lettering and delivery methods made the man think he was being invited to some sort of event, but alas, the surroundings proved otherwise. "That will be $28.78 sir". The cabbie parked the car, Mikhail handed the man a fifty dollar bill and exited the vehicle, stunning the man on the change he had left. Moments later, the cab went about its way down the street, leaving the Russian standing along as he continued to scan the area. It was populated with humans mostly, something surprising for Mikhail to witness since Russian is a vampire coven haven nowadays. But, it was nice to see some actual living flesh and blood around for once. Mikhail made his way to the front entrance and entered, the hallways empty with dim lighting; clearly not their best season to have quests. The man made his way upstairs as he read the note in his hand from its sender. Stating only his presence was requested at the said location at the said date and time, along with a room key. It was also stated at the up most importance that Mikhail be there. It was this note that made the werewolf in hiding curious, but he settled his affairs at home before making the trip, leaving his club operations to the the hands of his cousin, another wolf. Slowly climbing the stairs to his floor, Mikhail caught a whiff of something delicious in the air, sniffing over and over to remember what they smelled like. "Hamburgers?" He whispered, finally making it to his floor and proceeding down the hall. The room was to his left, some voices could be heard inside which caught the wolf man by surprise; he wasn't expecting anyone else to be inside besides the person who sent the invitation, but there were more than one person speaking inside. Tightening the handle on his backpack straps, the wolf man grabbed onto the door nob and turned slightly, he was surprised the door was already open. His senses however, were telling him to be careful when he entered. The door opened without a sound as the man slowly entered and looked around, the talking was now clear, two males and a female present. But the scent, that's what confused him the most. He only smelled human flesh, the other two were a mystery to him. Closing the door, Mikhail took a couple steps into the living room area, looking at an ashtray with a cigarette butt laying there. "Hello?" His deep voice echoed more than he thought it would in such a tiny place, looking around to see if anyone heard his voice. The talking stopped for a moment, obviously someone heard. But no answer back, Mikhail went to the coffee table and picked up the cigarette butt and brought it to his nose, sniffing the end slightly. "Female...but...", then, there it was. His senses told him something bad was in the area. Mikhail turned around quickly, but was only met by a smaller looking female looking at him directly. Stunned a bit by the surprise, the wolf man straightened up and brushed it off. "We're glad you can be here. My name is Akieen, you're right on time Mikhail" She knew his name, it clearly shows she was the one who sent out the invitation, or knew who did at the very least. "Mikhail Bascov. I go my "Misha" as well" The wolf man extended his hand to her, she paused for a moment, looking deep in thought before she returned the gesture. She was warm...surprisingly warm...unnaturally warm to the touch. It took a while for the man to ponder his thoughts, his senses felt relaxed for some reason, almost at home. That's when it hit him, she was a werewolf as well. It was surprising to see one in the states, Mikhail didn't know any outside of Russia, or even that any were alive elsewhere. "Food is in the kitchen, we're still waiting on some of the other guests to arrive. Please, make yourself at home, more will be explained when everyone has arrived". Akieen turned around and went back to the kitchen, Mikhail sat on the sofa and searched in his jean pocked for his cigarettes, smiling when he found them. The man lit one up and reclined a little but. "Ð?оÑ?оже, ÑÑ?о можеÑ? бÑ?Ñ?Ñ? веÑело, в конÑ?е конÑ?ов ...(Looks like this might be fun after all......)" Mikhail took a drag of his cigarette as the smoke danced in the air in front of him.

Hey fellow OB members: Looking to get a new Avatar and Banner made for myself. I'm in negotiations with going back into the Marine Corps and would like to show my pride by getting a custome made banner and avatar made to show it. I would like to know if someone could use this picture for my banner, either squeeze the whole thing if possible or make it on their own. Would also like to have my name on the banner if possible to fit that in as well: I would like this photo to be my avatar, with my name inserted as well: If someone could do this, I'd be really appreicative. ~Shwa

Try finding poetry that fits your interest. It could be able love or betrayal, something ominous or just smack you in the face obvious. Here are some examples, ones by Edgar Allen Poe, a well known story of dark remembrance which I think you would know, called, "The Raven" http://poestories.com/read/raven http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LlgQQgDhH7U I wish it was the actual video, but only the audio, but it goes on the poem besides the comical humor of the Simpsons. Another which is a semi- love/hurt poem by Thomas Wyatt during King Henry the 8ths rein: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=etqW_7XFwvU From Season 1 of the Tudors "AND wilt thou leave me thus ? Say nay ! say nay ! for shame To save thee from the blame Of all my grief and grame.1 And wilt thou leave me thus ? Say nay ! Say nay ! And wilt thou leave me thus ? That hath lov'd thee so long ? In wealth and woe among : And is thy heart so strong As for to leave me thus ? Say nay ! Say nay ! And wilt thou leave me thus ? That hath given thee my heart Never for to depart ; Neither for pain nor smart : And wilt thou leave me thus ? Say nay ! Say nay ! And wilt thou leave me thus ? And have no more pity, Of him that loveth thee ? Alas ! thy cruelty ! And wilt thou leave me thus ? Say nay ! Say nay !" Sometimes they are hard to understand yes, but, once you piece together their real meaning, it's actually quite exciting. ~Shwa

Mikhail is very cocky and confident in his skills, but patient and expereienced in the ways taking his time. He is a well known negotiator when things get tense, but when push comes to shove, Mikhail is an ally to have on your side and not against. Weapons/fighting style: Mikhail is considered a, "Bar Brawler", his fast footwork and powerful punches are enough to even match up to mighty swamn monsters. Mikhail's skin is as hard as steel when he is in his human form, which had helped him during fights when his enemies don't know the secret. Mikhail can also make tall leaps into the air in both human form and werewolf form. History: Scientific reasearch to genetically create a vicious hunter developed many years ago in Russia, unfortunately the labs were destroyed by opposing factions who discovered their true intentions to create obedient beasts. Only 4 managed to escape and stay together as they fled their captors. Unfortunately, the lands were heavily populated and ruled by Humans and Vampires. To live in peace, the wolves resides in the snowy wilderness, forever hiding their race from questionable eyes. Mikhail was born from two werewolves who mated, both still around with the rest of their minimal numbers of wolves. Mikhail was the only child that his parents bore, and with their hostile living environment, his mother was very prootective while his father taught him the ways of the world and the creatures that inhabit it. Mikhail differes from his parents and clan in different ways, he is the only one who can age after a couple of years, hence why he looks more mature than his neighbors, or even parents. When Mikhail was 200 years of age, he moved to the city on his own and settled there. Living such a long life, he was able to train in street fighting and learn a lot from his boxing teachers, not to mention his personal experience as a bouncer. He would train with his clan mates in his feral changed form, mostly because they could handle the stress and brutal attacks on one another. After the owners of the club passed away, Mikhail took ownership of the facility and expanded his business. He still works as a bouncer from time to time to keep him fluid in his fighting. While there are only about 6-7 wolves in Russia that Mikhail know of, all are close by a psychic link to one another. On full moon's, they gather together as a pact to hunt and mark their terriroty like true wolves. All members of his clan change into their feral form during extreme rage or on the full moon.

"It looks like you'll have another mouth to feed Maxwell, think you can handle that responsibility?" Hawk snickered for a moment as the Name Bearer and young girl stood outside of the house waiting for the others to join them, their hunting dogs circled around the two with such energy it would seem as they were actually puppies once again. Hawk smiled lightly as he scratched a few behind their heads, strong German Sheppard mixes, vicious when needed and surprisingly playful to their masters. Maxwell sighed as she contemplated the rations and supplies she packed for the trip. "Well, Heart Breaker was a surprise but that could have been easily delt with, this new guy though, he's just another stomach to feed. None the less, have no real choice since the Magistrate commanded it. Did you see the look of pure disgust from Azriath? That was a bit scary, even for me". "Indeed, but I'm sure his response to Shade's words was enough" Hawk looked forward as he saw Shade and Heart Breaker wait at hte wooden fence entrance to the grounds, not speaking to one another. Another cloudy day masked the sun's warmth, that seemed to be a norm around the area they lived in, either cloudy or rainy. Hawk had to admit it to himself, when the sun did come out, it was a fresh realization that the remaining humans that were still here gave him some inspiration to continue his work along with Azriath. However, the years were taking a toll on Hawk, the man knew it too, it was getting harder for him to control and conseal his anger from the rest of the order. But, he had a responsibility that no one could understand, and not many could deal with if given. Footsteps could be heard from behind Hawk and Maxwell, Azriath finally showed himself, fully armed and pack followed by Malgus and Kahlan, their child sleeping safely in Kahlan's arms. Azriath looked down at the hounds, raising an eyebrow at their surprisingly good attitude. "Are these the ones we're taking then?" His monitone voice again, Hawk knew he was annoyed. "Yes, this pack of 6 should suffice for our hunting needs and scouting. Problem?" Maxwell looked between the two, though friends and allies, she, nor anyone could tell if they were talking to one another as friends or enemies. Azriath grunted as he walked down the small steps and towards the front to lead the group. "Of course not" He spoke quickly. Hawk stood from his spot and made his way as well, followed closely by the other members of their order. Jerico came sprinting from the side street to meet the others at the front entrance. "Did you get what I asked for?" Heart Breaker spoke, it surprised both Azriath and Hawk that she had another member of their order run an errand for her, especially now. Jerico nodded as he rached into his glove pocket and pulled out a small bag of yellow dust. "Thank you", she spoke, opening the pouch and pouring the dust on the ground. It had a sweet scent to it, almost like honey...real honey from way back before any of this happened. The power fell and blew about thanks to the assistance of the small gust of wind. "Heart Breaker, what was that for?" Jerico stared surprised, his efforts seemingly to waste now. "It's a good luck thing I always do before going anywhere I don't know. Just something that came to mind for this trip". Azriath and Hawk said nothing, another member of their order having faint memories of their past habits like Jerico did before. It was a lovely sentiment, but that little show of memory prooved to the Name Bearer's that their mission for new members was crutial, if not vital now. "Thank you Heart Breaker...it's time we leave. Lead the way mutts." Azriath spoke to the dogs, well trained they formed a circle around the group as they made their trek to one of the distant towns for the child's protection.

28 May 2015 Medical Research Facility, Ravenloft 1300 With the sudden darkness that shadowed the world upon the remaining human society, riots and rampage broke out in smaller towns and villages during Francis' travels to Ravenloft. The hunter aided as best he could to ward off enemies and predators of the night that stalked at all hours, but with their sense of night and day now only reduced to night, they roamed around freely near heavily populated regions. During his travels, the hunter himself almost met his maker a couple times during wrong routes to the medical city, routes once safe for travels now crawling with Nightmares ready to kill at a momentâ??s whim. Francis' skills kept him alive, but there were too many close encounters for his liking to the vast city of Ravenloft, thankfully, even with the many setbacks; the hunter finally made it to the outer walls of the city. Finding rest and shelter from his long travels, Francis indulged in the lavishing food and entertainment the night before he would have to address his case to the leader of the city. Morning time rose quickly, but the once bright and invigorating sun that everyone sought out for would not show once again, but still, the city thrived with life, their security measures heightened while the civilian population roamed about the streets and carried on with their business. Walking down a well-lit avenue, Francis came upon a large building and looked upwards; it reminded the man of buildings in Baltimore before things were as they were now, extravagant and one hell of an eye sore. Signing with content, the man walked inside and proceeded to the third floor. Entering the long corridor, he noticed that even though this facility was not a hospital facility, it was very well lit and looked spotless from head to toe. Turning a corner, Francis saw a woman sitting at a stationary desk full of paperwork and phones ringing one by one, whatever her position was, she was well prepared and qualified to handle the hustle and bustle. "Excuse me. Do you know where I can find Doctor Adler?" The young woman smiled and nodded. "Are you Francis Lattimore from Lily Pad?" "Please, call me "Aqua". Yes, I'm here on behalf of |Lady Heather and the City of Lily Pad â??Of course Aqua, the doctor is expecting you inside the research facility. A messenger hawk came yesterday from Lady Heather informing us of the situation. I presume you have a sample of your cityâ??s water handy?â? Francis nodded as he reached into his pocket and presented a small vile full of ocean clear water. The woman smiled as she took the sample and stood from her chair. â??Please, if you will follow me to the labâ?. Both walked through a set of double doors that lead down a short hallway towards a metal sealed vault, the woman entered several coded before a sharp hissing noise, slowly the vault opened into a dimly lit research facility. Scientists in hazmat and regular wear both roamed around the buzzing facility, carrying samples and charting their note from their findings. It only took moments before Doctor Adler made himself known. â??Ah, Rebecca, is this the young man from Lily Pad?â? He approached the two, adjusting his glasses and extending his hand; Francis took it and gave a strong grip. â??Iâ??m Aqua from the city of Lily Pad. Thank you doctor for assisting us in this time of crisisâ? â??We owe a lot of our natural water shipments and carrier hawks Mr. Aqua, Iâ??d be more than happy to help in any way I can. I understand time is of the essence, so letâ??s see what we can findâ? Rebecca handed the doctor the vile, upon external examination, it seemed to be nothing more than crisp drinking water, but the doctor was no fool. Taking a small sample and placing a droplet between slides, he placed it underneath a microscope and eyed the specimen closely. He, along with two other scientists took about an hour collaborating their notes before confronting Aqua. â??Anything you can tell me sir?â? â??What we have here is something Iâ??m slightly puzzled on, there are small bacterial traces of a broken down fungus that seems to multiply at an alarming rate within an hourâ??s time. At first I thought it only to be a subtle change with the chemicals we used, but its stationary and rapidly growing. Mixed in with human tissue, it begins to break down the white blood cells and acts like a virus. But, only problem with this fungus is its incubation period. It has noneâ?. â??What do you mean?â? Aqua raised an eyebrow. â??Once it attaches to a dead cell, itâ??s there until contact with another one. Usually it would take minutes to at least an hour before going to the next strongest cell, but it seems to send out spores and they start the process all over again. Almost in seconds, the hostâ??s body is completely infected.â? Doctor Adler flipped through his papers more as he reviewed his notes. â??Unfortunately, we donâ??t have all we need to make an antibody to combat this kind of wide spread attack, what we can do now is make an alternative for thatâ??ll at least suppress the fungus, but it wonâ??t be for long. I know itâ??s dangerous out in the world now with this strange darkness Phenomenon, but if you can manage to venture to Phenix, I know some of their wine vineyards are specially fertilized, itâ??s a long shot but I believe we can kill this spread with some of their techniques for growing wine.â? â??Itâ??s a long shot doctor, but Iâ??ll just have to take my chanceâ? Aqua nodded and shook the doctors hand once more. â??Be careful out there, Iâ??m sure you had trouble on your own just getting here with all the darkness. Iâ??ll make sure youâ??re equipped with what you need for safe travels. Itâ??s a long journey, so stock up. Iâ??ll inform Lady Heather of the news right awayâ? Aqua nodded as he left the lab and the building at once to prepare for his journey. A couple hours later, he was strapped with a small, yet accommodating backpack full of medical supplies, camping gear and snack for his trip towards the west. His arrows were fully stocked and his bow cleaned from Nightmare blood from his previous battles while traveling. Still, the outside world was as black as a stallionâ??s coat, but the hunter had no time to worry about that, his mission was his priority. Finally ready, the hunter sped off into the distance, bow in hand as he started his journey.

Hey, I'm just saying this now, if this becomes too predictable then I'm just gonna say I'm out. If we're suppose to be building suspense and mystery around missions and the organization and somewhat with the characters, how is it that no one can branch out on their own?

The ride was silent inside the shuttle fo the helicopter, no one spoke a word as the team remained to themselves during the whole trip, Oka seemed to be taking a nap, Dylan and T.J got to know the new recruit "Ghost" a little better, to feel him out and get his information. Gene crossed his legs and arms as he rested, sitting on the opposite row from Oka facing his own window, looking outside with a lazy yet thoiughtful stare as the man thought to himself. An organization he joined to exterminate vermin like Oka, or whatever she has become, is protecting her for some reason. It didn't sit well with the military man, but nothing about this whole situation from the start did, especially their side trip to rescure her family member. It didn't matter to the man if it was her own mother, with everything in wraps as the Elders so elequantly explained, he knew his hunches were correct. Something wasn't right, and now it goes as deep as to their superiors. Gene is a military man, disciplined and trained to do the right thing, but when his senses collide with a direct order, its usually something up, and this was proof to it. The elder may have chewed his ass for the recent stunts, but at least he was proud of himself not to punch the man directly in the face. The nerve he had to shout at a seasoned veteran of the Hunters, none in his sector would dare to do something so foolish. Gene continued to peer outside the copters window, the environment changed as did the scenery, they were making good time with transport, the others were well prepared and everything seemed to be going smoothly. Gene took the time to close his eyes and rest a little, the morning hadn't started out well, but with some solidarity he would be able to regain his ground. "...I'm sorry to report this to you Gene, I know we all loved him as a son, but..." The doctor of the base sat Gene down outside of the E.R. "...he's lost too much blood fromt he ambush, and with the base as tattered as it is, we lost our blood bank supplies as well..." Gene's heart dropped more and more as the seconds passed while the doctor tried to explain the situation. The Texas division fell under attack from an unknown enemy during the midnight hours of operations, many hunters died while the ones remaining did their best to defend their base and avenge their fallen allies. Gene was on the front lines with his team and superiors back then, what he didn't expect was the civilian housing area to be easily overcome by the great force. "...Your son passed away thirty minutes ago Gene, I'm sorry" The news struck Gene's heart like an arrow, the man lost all control of his emotional barriers and lost it right there and then, tears flowed freely down his cheeks as the man sunk his face into his hands and sobbed openly, the medical officer, clearly worn and tired from the extensive surgery and ambush attack, conforted the man as best he could with a light hug. It was a friendly gesture to someone who's watched over the boy on countless occasions while his father was out on a mission. 'Please...not him, not my baby boy..." Gene tried to control his breathing, but the pain was too much for him. The doctor shed a tear himself, but could say nothing to comfort his friend. "I'm sorry Gene" Anger grew more and more inside the broken man, suddenly, he stood from his chair and darted down the hallway, back outside where the last of the Hunters surrounded the enemy targets. Wounded and weak, but theyu stuck together like a true pack would, Gene reached for his bow and snapped it to his side, the ends extending as he reached behind his pouch to grab his silver arrows. Barging through the doors, he saw in full light the damage done to their base, the sounds of warning sirens screamed in the air as he looked around, seeing his fellow hunters in a group as they surrounded their enemy. In clear light, they were wolves, large monsters of the forest that every Hunter should fear if alone, but now, they had a reason to fear the sharpshooting huntsman. Charging forward, Gene aimed his weapon and released the arrow, in lightning speed it struck the lead werewolf in his forehead, only to exit from the back and strike the brick wall with great force, leaving a medium sized dent. More arrows shot through the air and hit their target, square in the forhead with no misses, everyone stood back as they saw their leader strike down the beasts of burden one by one. Gene would not usually use an unfair advantage against an enemy who was cornered and outnumbered, but the man was out for blood tonight, and blood is what he got. "Gene" Carla screamed, but the man was too fargon in his mind to respond as he launched arrow after arrow to the deceased bodies of the wolves. A vengeful, almost deathly glare remained on his face as the man drooled out the side of his mouth as he continued his onslaught. "Gene!!" Another one of his subbordinates cried out, this one reaching fo his shoulder over and over again. More and more in the mans eyes could he see the accomplishments of his attack, blood seeped quickly from his kill's body and pooled around the lifeless corpse. The sirens continued to scream in the air as more Hunters from nearby sectors came to aid their fight. Gene stopped his onslaught as he stood looking down at his enemy, breathing heavily for a few moments before tunring to his team members. "Find them....and kill them all!!" Gene roared with mighty authority and stamina. "YES SIR!" They all achknowledged the order as they hunted in groups to rid their base of the werewolves. The helicopter made a smooth landing in the mountain regions of West Virginia, they seemed to be 3 miles outside of Boone County, a coal mining town with "backwater" hillbillies and a population of mountain evergreen. The team slowly unbuckled themselves and gathered their things, Gene doing the same as he strapped his arrow pouch tightly and grabbed his bow in his hand. The motors of the helicopter slowed with a deep humming sound as the pilot, Luca, safely turned off the power and proceded to run his check list for their emergency departure, if there was to be one. One by one, the Oka's team exited the helicopter and began to gather in a circle to hear the briefing. "Alright, even with out slight delay we should be able to make some good time. It's noon right now, so we can grab some chow in town when we find a place. You all know the key details of this mission, so stay together and WORK togehter. Is that clear?" Everyone nodded, Gene made no jesture that he achknowledged her order, only stared at the "Boss Lady" with a questionable look. Suddenly, his phone vibrated, it caught the man by surprise. Flipping his phone open, it was a text message from an unknown number. "Remember what I told you..." Gene bit his lower lip hard as he closed his phone and placed it back in his pocket. "Something wrong Gene?" Oka asked, the man had more than a million smart ass comments he could say, but with his warnings from the Elder, he would have to wait. "No, I understand the mission. Let's get this over with already so I can go home." Snapping how bow to life, Gene merely stretched his arms waiting for thier walk. "Alright then..." It caught Oka by surprise a little about Gene's reluctaness to obey her command, but she knew it wasn't something he wanted to do. Turning, she and Dylan lead the group while T.J and Ghost held the flanks, Gene scoping the back as they completed their circle formation and began to trek into town. Gene had his bow already in attack mode as he peered straight at Dylan and Oka, but mostly the wolf girl. Gritting his teeth slightly he pushed onward. (Filthy b**** of a mutt...) Gene thought to himself as they came close to town.

Gene was still uneasy about what transpired the night of the ambush, but, he was thankful that Dylan was able to make it out of the situation unharmed. To Gene, a mission would'bt be accomplished unless all of his team mates were out safe and alive, scratches and injuries aside, as long as they were breathing through their lungs, it was a complete mission none the less. Still, the man looked at the stance their "Boss Lady" had that evening, still shaken that she alone was able to surpress the woman in white where she stood...or floated for that matter. Yet despite all the hustle and bustle, Gene knew on the inside there was something not right with Oka, and it was something dangerous indeed. Dangerous enough to raise the last warning flag about a person before he had to take his own initiative and snoop around. Thankfully, he had the sources and resources to use with his former team in Texas, the best damned HUnter's he's known for years all working together as a unit. The current one he was with was not too bad, a little rough around the edges, but at least they got the job done. Still, having no faith in their team lead was something everyone should be concerned with. Gene was the last to wake in the hotel room, Dylan just returned from the bathrom, showered and ready for their trek to their new destination in West Virginia. He seemed calm and poised, his usual demenor that he flaunted around the others besides the once in a while silent treatment. Most would be shocked with coming so close to a spectre, but the man had balls, Gene had to admit that. "Still angry about last night?" Dylan broke the silence, bringing Gene out from his deep thinking as the man continued to get dressed. "You know what's on my mind, don't play coy with me" "I'm not, it's been on my mind too. Honestly, I should have been dead, but thanks to Oka, I'm not" Dylan grinned as he gathered his things. "They're both outside, Oka and T.J. Guess their our early birsds of the group, lord knows that's not me in this case" "I guess" Gene replied, finally gathering all of his things, strapping his Bow across his chest along with his arrows strapped to his pouch, the man got up from the bed and made his way to the door, stopping meer inches away from the handle. "You know I don't trust Oka, don't you?" Gene turned his head slightly to the side to glance back at his team mate. "Yes, that's a bit obvious, especially after her actions last night and "not knowing" how she was able to do it. I'm a little on edge too, but I gotta hand it to her, she got the job done and saved my ass. I'm on my toes as well, but for now, I'll see how things play out" Dylan responded, Gene nodded slightly before opening the door, seeing Oka and T.J standing outside. T.J smiled as he saw Gene, Oka kept her same emotionless face as the man closed the door and walked towards the stairs. "Where do you think you're going? If we're all up then we have to get packing for West Virginia" Oka spoke, Gene stopped in his place and turned around, his arms crossed over his chest once more. "A location with 2 Hunter groups already assigned? Please, don't tell me your grandmother went missing this time too" Gene smirked, seeing the angry glare coming from Oka was just another breeze to him. She was too in tune with her emotions, not someone with leadership potential, no matter what the circumstances. The woman calmed herself, placing a hand on her hip and calmed herself. "With an attitude like that, I doubt anyone would put their trust in you..." "Trust is earned girlie, not given. As far as I'm concened, I TRUST one of my arrows to hit you between the eye. That's the trust you have with me" Gene narrowed his eyes slightly, Oka looked directly into them with anger and slight confusion. No one spoke a word as the calm breeze made its noise, traveling through the air as if it needed to be noticed by humans. Gene turned back towards the staris and made his way towards the van. "I'm driving for this one, now hurry up and get ready" Hitting the bottom step, Gene made his way to the van and entered the drivers seat, reaching to his earpiece to contact a friend. "Dial Carla Martiez, Texas division" "One moment" Spoke the female operator, silence took over before a female voice answere the call. "Carla here" "Carla, it's Gene" "Howdy Gene, how's the new assignment and all? We miss you on our team" "I miss y'all too. Listen, I need detaled intell on my new team leader, first name Oka. I wanna know everything about this *****, no loose strings. Ya got me suga?" Gene could hear some typing on the other end. "I'll get to work on that right away, I'll give you a call when I have something for you." The line went dead, Gene started the van and noticed the gas was only half was full, bucking his seatbelt, he decided to fill it up before their long trek cross country.

The sun's rays slowly disapated into the land as the burnt orange glow from sunset slowly vanished, masked by the nights sky as the team ran through their place once more in their hotel room. Thankfully the town was small enough that travel time would make it easy to get to their target, but their main objective would be the murderer responsible for so much pain and deloation that's cursed this small town within the past couple of hours. Gene spent time soaking in the shower while the others waited on the pizza to arrive for their evening meal, turning the fosset handle to the closed position, the man simply stood in the tub, refresed and collecting his thoughts before their mission. Grabbing his towel, the man dried himself and proceeded to dress as the others talked outside. "The old house Mr. Parker use to live on resides in a wide open stretch of property, only real enclosed areas are high above ground with trees and the woodlands a couple yards behind the main house. I suspect our culperate will work at night, or at least show up during the evening hours, I've already had the Oklahoma team install cameras on the inside for documentation. So far, it's a pretty run down house, but it was to be expected." Oka spoke to the others as they huddled around a small hologram diagram of the property. "If we are dealing with an actual person, I doubt the takedown will be hard at all. But..." Dylan stood from his spot when numerous knockings on the main entrance door sounded. Making his way to the entrance, the officer paid for the pizza they had ordered and closed it once more, carrying in their meal and drinks, placing them on the small desk next to the window. "What if we're not dealing with something human?" "Then we take care of it like we would any other creature that threatens human lives, that's our mission as Hunters." Oka responded, Gene finally made it out of the bathroom groomed and clothed. T.J was the first to help himself to the pizza, soon the others would follow as they each served themselves and ate their meal. Still, Oka continued the briefing. "Gene, I want you purched in one of the trees, possibly the one that overlooks the east side of the house, that's the side will all of the windows for upstairs and downstairs" Gene nodded as he chewed his food. "Right, and since the sun sets in the north right behind the house, I doub't there will be much glare to block my view" "Exactly. T.J, once Dylan is inside, I want you to monitor the action from the rooftop, if it's going to be as dark as it was last night, I doubt there will be a problem with you being spotted by anyone. Just in case, you'll be bringing a black camo cloak to hide you just in case" "Sounds like a plan to me" T.J replied. "Where will you be stationed Oka?" "I'm going to remain in the car, the windows are tinted well enough during the day, at night, its almost like looking into a black hole. Everyone will be in constant communication on five minute intervals, Dylan's mic will be on the whole time. So, in case we do have contact, we'll be able to listen in closely and strike if the presence of danger come up. Everyone nodded as the last of the team members finished their meals and grabbed their weapons and gear for the mission. The group filed out of their hotel room and entered the car, Oka at the steering wheel while the others strapped themselves in, time was of the essence for them at the moment, they would only have little time before the sun completely set into the earth, Oka pushed her food down on the gas and drove towards the country area where the old house of Mr. Parker resided. Their advantage would be that it wasn't too close to the town, but just in case things got hairy, Oka put the Oklahoma Hunter's on stand by, they would be in the town waiting to assist with any emergency that would come up. When the car turned the corner towards Mr. Parker's current house, she noticed that the lights were on, but his truck was not parked outside of the house. The others picked up on the change as well. "I thought you stated that he was the guy to wallow in his own depression." Gene commented, their car stopped next to the house as they all peered over. "He could be at a local tavern for all we know, let's not raise any suspicions until we have something to go off of. Remember, we already have an assignment, don't need to add on more work to our load as it is." Though the others nodded, they still felt somewhat uneasy. Oka drove the car down the dirt road until they pulled in front of the abandoned Parker house where the murder's took place, turning the car off quickly and cutting the power, Oka addressed the team once more. "Sniper?" "Ready" Gene answeres as he flicked his bow, the ends of his weapon snapping straight as the twine tightened. "T.J, you got everything you need?" "Ready, also brought some thermal shades the detect heat signatures" T.J respnded as he grabbed his gear. "Decoy?" "Here for your use" Dylan smirked, Oka nodded as everyone on cue left the car besides the team lead. Gene quickly dashing to his perch atop the tree, securing his location and new view of the house. He could see T.J on top of the roof, shaded in his cloak. Dylan casually strolled around the car and leaned on the drivers side of the vehical as he waited for the sun to competely set into the horizon.

Gene roamed around the edge of the buildings rooftop above Dylan, who began to interrogate the populous on the ground, he had a birds eye view of the surrounding area, able to spot anything that seemed suspicious from his view. But, even with his stratigic plans, neither he or his ally were able to gather any useful information from the civilians below. Either they really didn't know or see anything, or they were hiding something, for the first time in a long time, Gene was marvled they were coming up empty handed. Dylan politely thanked the local flower shop owner and turned to walk down a couple blocks, looking down at his feet onto the pavement, he could see Gene's quick shadow blur in front of his, signaling that he made it to the next rooftop. Caring not if others saw the man talking to himself on his headset, Dylan reached to his earpiece and began to whisper to himself. "Anothe dead end it seems partner" He exhailed unhappily, almost annoyed from their lack of information. Gene did the same before he responded on the mic. "This is annoying, nothing on a murder that seemed to happen in almost broad daylight. Someone's got to know something" "Have you been able to spot anything so far?" "Nothing, just some sparrows, gathering and people going about their business. A lot of people were gathered about the crime scene earlier this morning, but didn't get a single sense that one of them was the killer coming back to marvel her work. It's odd..." Gene replied as he stretched his arms upwards, feeling the pops from his shoulder blades release was relaxing to the man for his prolonged survalience. "Stay alert, we weren't able to find anything at the crime scene since it was being processed, we'll have to gather the evidence later at the police station." Dylan replied before turning a corner, giving a slight nod to a lovely woman in a yellow sun dress as he passed by. "You think "Boss Lady" and T.J have found anything at the library? Best bet for them if they checked out the towns history archive, or even old news paper clippings." Gene began to sprint towards the edge of the rooftop until coming to the end, hunching down and taking a giant leap into the air, slowly guiding his body to the next rooftop in a flash as he rolled on his landing and stopped himself, standing up to brush some dirt off. "Who know's, I know we're not gonna get much out of this wild goose chase" Dylan commented as he headed towards another store to interrogate the next civilian.

I'm a bit puzzled as to Greenland and the Caribbean is part of North America, if you could explain that would be helpful. I would imagine that Canida would be included along with Mexico and Hawaii. But like I stated, if you could explain it would make more sense (to me that is). Thanks Orca!

"I'm Gene Laguerta, top sniper in the Texas Hunter's region, which is the great state we're crusing through as we speak to head to our destination. I'm a sharp shooter with my bow and arrows, been practicing with them since I was a pup with my daddy, he was a sharpshooter in the military." Gene spoke as he examined the tips of his metal arrows, each equipted with different charges underneath the arrowhead for speacialty combat against larger creatures. The man looked outside his carseat window to see the city sign. "We're passing Denton, Texas now, should be about another hour or so until we get to Oklahoma". He spoke almost quietly as he went back to examining his ammo, Oka tightened her grip on the steering wheel and pushed her foot down on the pedal to give the car more power and speed, everyone felt the change as they held on for a moment. "So, your dad was in the military, that's pretty awesome. Did you learn a lot from him?" T.J looked back at his team mate. "Lots: Survival, tactical planning and maneuvering, he took me to the gun range almost weekly. But, I still prefer using my old trusty guardian angels to light up the sky" Gene smirked as he leaned back and crossed his legs to get comfortable. "You must have learned that attitude from him as well" Dylan smiled as he continued to lounge in the back seat. "No way buddy, that's something you learn when becoming a man. Emotions are your downfall, especially in combat. Block them out of your mind, and you're completely ready for anything" "And completely vulnerable" Oka spoke. Gene turned to see her eyes peering at him from the rear view mirror, he could tell she was still ticked off from their confrontation earlier. Gene simply brished it off. "Oh, I'm not the one complaining about a missing family member." That almost broke the straw on the camels back for Oka, she nerely crushed the steering wheels in her hands, the atmosphere was thick as fog now. "And that's what will make you vulnerable, if you know your brother is a strong person, you shouldn't have to worry too much about him or where he's at." "That was a low blow Gene" T.J gave an angry snort. "How will our enemy see it as? A low blow? Or, a moment to strike when we're caught off gurard?" It made T.J think about the scenario for a moment, in a sense, Gene was right. Eve Oka knew it, but, she still had to do what her heart yurned for and try to see if the reports were valid. "I'm not trying to rain on your parade or anything, family is important, it's what brings us some happiness in dark times. Whatever family you have left, keep them close and tight." Silence once again as the car continued down the road, the hour passed as the team saw the city welcoming sign to Oklahoma. "So, where are we going exactly? Tulsa or Oklahoma City?" Dylan asked. "We're going to Oklahoma City, thats where the last disapperance occured. It's our best lead for now" Oka replied as she pulled into a near by gas station to fill up, she hadn't realized the gas she burned by driving like a bat out of hell, but, it got them there in record time. Eveyone got out of the car to stretch and ready themselves for the rest of the journey ahead. "I warn you though, the old side of Oklahoma City is pretty deserted and dark, lots of places to lose yourself. If we're going to split into groups we'll do it in pairs, otherwise..." Oka opened the trunk of the car and opened a small black box, inside, four wireless ear pieces were available for the team with a small microphone attached to the side that extended to the length of the users cheek bone. "Remian in constant communication with these, and when I say constant, I mean I'll pummel you if I don't hear back from you. Understood?" Everyone nodded as they fitted themselves with their communication pieces. Gene and T.J went inside the gas station to pay for their fuel and grab a couple of drinks while Oka and remained outside. Dylan leaned against the car while Oka grabbed the fueling hose and inserted it into the gas tank. "You ready for this?" He asked while peering around the perimeter, it was pitch black outside, the stars and moon hidden within the deep banks of the clouds. Ususally, a bad omen for a mission like theirs, Oka gripped the handle pump hard and pumped the gas. "More than you'll ever know" She stated confidently, peering inside the see her other team mates scour the convienience store for their items.

"New mission with a bunch of people I don't know and with a woman who's mouth is her only weapon....niiiiiice" Gene sighed as he thought to himself, the travel was long to their destination, it didn't make much sense to send another unit from out of state to an area where they had hunters, something was amiss and Gene didn't like the feeling. "So..." He finally broke the silence over the already quiet radio and silence in the car. "What's the real mission about?" The silence continued as if it was never there in the first place. To Gene's expectations, it was Oka who answered his call. "I told you the mission already, did you not pay attention?" "Did you hear me stutter?" Gene replied, Oka raised an eyebrow as she removed her shades. "The driver's right, why are WE getting sent to Oklahoma instead of another team of hunters? There something happening that you're not sharing? It seems pretty odd that we have to travel a long distance to take care of a minor case" "Obviously we can handle this case with out set skills combined together, but if you'd rather head home I say start grabbing your things and get walking." Oka turned back around, Gene continued to tune his bow that sat on his lap, he could sense TJ looking at the rear view mirrow and back at Oka from time to time. Dylan listened in closely as he peered outside, he too seemed interested in the idea, but felt like he should listen more before making a call. Gene placed one of his metal arrows on the resting spot of his bow as he began to talk. "I think we should all just turn back, this doesn't feel right and I'll say it to your face if no one else will" With lightnight speed, Oka unbuckled herself and turned in her chair, grabbing Gene by the throat with her other arm pulled back, ready to strike. It surprised the man, but he too was prepared. "What did you want to say to my fa-..." Oka stopped talking when she saw a smug look on Gene's face, then finally making the connection. Peering down, she felt the metal top of his arrow on her collar bone, his arm pulling back the draw string just enough to launch his weapon. "You think I can't move from your shot?" "Not at this range" Both stared eachother down until the vehical came to a complete stop on the side of the road, sending Oka forward a little back to the front seat. TJ placed the car in park and addressed the group. "Listen, we're not here to fight one another, we're suppose to be fighting with one another. Whether or not it makes sense, we have orders and we have to follow them." Oka placed her shades back on and opened her door. "I'm driving now, we're about halfway there" TJ nodded as he opened his own door to get out. Now, it was Dylan who spoke. "Impressive, you think ahead of the game, but I wouldn't underestimate that girl." "I don't, in fact, her speed was enough for me to know she was a valid choice for team leader. But, that doesn't mean this still smells like a solid mission objective." Gene replied. "Maybe not, but, we're in it, so let's get it over with and be done with it" The two finally entered the vehical one more and they took off, closer to their destination and closer to what Gene seemed to fearful and worried of.

24, May 2015 City of Lilly Pad, Maryland, 2345 The evening hours grew late as the calm skies of the eastern shore roamed about; the crecent moon looking down onto the water below only to see its reflection shimmer and shine withlight intensisty, the water remaining at a calm as all the finhing and transport ships rested at the docks. The booming city of Lilly Pad now silent as the watchmen patrolled the streets with their lanterns and weapons, ever on the lookout for possible signs of trouble or mischief. Their community tight knit and secured with the boarders heavily guarded on the outskits of the city, close to the wilderness region where the hunting parties venture for daily food and where the field workers go to collect their crops and plant new seeds for the seasons to come. This time of year, lots of flowers bloomed in the wild, also a valuable item for trade and medicinal purposes to those who sought the rare items outside of the city. In a small cot located on the western docks of the city resided the residential areas for the hunter, Francis tossed slightly in his sleep to find a comfortable position. Sleep was a luxery for him to attain, especially on nights before his big journey outside of the boarder. With most of the eastern cose flooded with water and little communication between the once "United States", the City of Lilly Pad send some of their hunters out to venture to other cities for an agreement of exchanged goods. Francis, however, was more than a hunter, he was an explorer. Two weeks ago he managed to route and map a safer route through the desimated city of old Kentucky, leaving his map clues and findings to his Lion's Den members who might come across the area. Still, the assignment for tomorrow was specifically asked by the City's leader, Lady Heather, and it somewhat unusual and very cryptic. There was a slight noise of movement that woke the hunter from his sleep, Francis rolled from his bed and tackled the mass that entered his doorway, knife drawn at the intruders throat. Finally focusing his eyes, the man could see his friend Mikhail underneat his blade. "Mikhail? How many times have I told you not to just randomly bardge in here...especially at night?" Francis smiled as he stood, hovering over his friend before extending a hand to assist the other man up. "You know me, I like to keep you on your toes constantly" They both laghed while Mikhail took the assistance and brushed his clothing off. "Hey listen, did you hear the rumors going around the city lately? I know its a rumor because everyone has been talking about it non stop". Francis nodded his head as he took a seat on the side of his bed, finding a comfortable spot within seconds. "I have, I think its one reason for Lady Heather to be sending me to Ravenloft. They might be able to come up with some kind of solution for the recent drought of sea creatures in the area. Don't get me wrong, I'm a meat lover but I do like some fried fish...or grilled from time to time" Francis smirked, Mikhail did the same. "True, but with that little girl suddenly getting sick, it could be coming from the water" Francis raised his eyebrow at the statement. "What little girl? I didn't know about this" Mikhail nodded. "Yeah, the 7 year old from the northern part of the city. She's in quarentine right now as a precaution, but our medics don't have all the supplies they need to fully treat whatever is wrong with her. It's sad, she's stable at the moment, but others have come into the local medic's office complaining about the same symptoms this girl has now". "Ah, I see" Francis pinched the bridge of his nose and rubbed around his eyes, he needed all the sleep he could get before his long journey, Mikhail took the hint and started to leave. "Get some rest my friend, you're going to need it" He smiled and waved goodbye, Francis returning the wave as he crawled back into his bed and dozed off. The morning hours came quickly as the city lit up with life; fishers, hunters, and the common people went about their daily lives as the sun reached high past 8 o'clock. Francis packed his bow aroundhis torso and made sure his carrier held enough arrows to last him a long time, the extra weight would be only a slight bother since he's traveled with much heavier supplied before. The man made his way to the center of the city where Lady Heather worked, in the center of the city where the people would be able to know she's taking care of everything on a daily matter. Her office was at the top of a fifteen story building, Francis entered and took the staircase all the way up until he reached her floor, greeted by the front office clerk. "She's waiting for you inside Mr. Lattimore" The sweet woman smiled as she continued to overlook important documents from before. Francis smiled and entered the office, clutteres with shelves and desks, all filled with books lined neatly or piled high, the bay windows overlooking the streets below as Lady Heather turned to see Francis ready for his assignment. Herblack dress was fitting for the weather, sleeveless with spaghetti string on her shoulders, and form fitting from her chest to her waist. "Good Morning Lady Heather. I'm ready for the assignment" She smiled. "I'm sure you've heard the rumors of a young girl getting ill Mr. Lattimore?" Lady Heather paused for a moment as she took a sip from her coffee mug, Francis only stood and waited. "She died two hours ago" The news shocked the hunter greatly. "The reason why I ask you to travel all the way to Ravenloft for assistance is because you're one of our best hunters from your region, and I know you have dealings with the Lion's Den members. Also, you're one slippery fellow, its hard to get a hold of you, say some sources." "Well, you're right on pretty much all of those accounds my Lady. So why all the way to Ravenloft?" "You're well aware they are more medically equiped with medical supplies to deal with a possible epidemic, more resources at their disposal. I don't mean to alarm you at all, but her family members have now been stricken down with the same illness the child had. I can't take any more precautions to just sit and let this happen to anyone else. You've been there before, there's no doubt in that fact and you can probably make it there quicker than sending a whole group. Do you understand?" Francis nodded, this was far more detailed that his friend Mikhail knew, or could ever know about. Lady Heather reached for an envelope from her desk and walked towards Francis, holding the item in the air until he took it and placed it in his pocket. "I ask you make quick haste, this matter is for the safety and concern for our city" She smiled, Francis knew it was the strongest smile she could give under these circumstances, but it was a smile none the less. "Have no fear my lady, I will return as quickly as I can with whatever news they can give me" With that, Francis leaped from the office window, shocking Lady Heather she she rushed and peered down to the streets below, seeing the man hop from rooftop to rooftop with skill and precision towards the boarder entrance. "He is an agile one, that is for sure" She smiled, happily this time. Francis ran towards the boarder where the guards looked down and waved, seeing their venturing friend make his way into the wilderness, weapons packed and mission set, before disappearing into the distance.

Name: Francis Lattimore Codename: "Aqua" Age: 28 Years of Age Gender: Male Appearance: Francis stands at 5'11'' tall with a slim yet toned body structure. He's quick on his feet and even deadlier when standing on his hands for his close combat fighting. His body hair once a chocolate brown changed to a sterling silver almost over night. Usually goes around topless unless entering colder climates, but better to keep his bow and arrows as close to his body as he can get them. Personality: Though known for being too relaxed and carefree, Francis is much more than he reveals to others who perceive him as being childish. A silent stratigist and mental soldier, years of being in his gangs hunting party have trained the man to literally think on his toes and plan out different scenarios for his plans of actions, both with good and bad outcomes to better be prepared for the enevitable. But, it still doesn't bother him that he's usually spunky and bubbly to people around him, but once it's time for action, Francis is an ally worth having on anyones side. Power/Augmentation: Water Manipulation- Francis has the unique ability to use his telekinetic abilities with the element of water, since the boy grew up around the ocean front of what was formerly known as Maryland, Francis has adapted to the change in his body since the meteor shower and can now control the slippery element at his whim. Years of practice has proven most useful to the man, with the abilities to createsharp witer spikes, float water around his body and use it as a sheild, even as a powerful propelling jet stream to ward off enemies. Francis can even manipulate the sweat and water from his body as weapons, it would cause him pain and time to heal if that were to happen though, it's only a technique used for extreme emergencies. Weapons: Francis was part of his hunting party with his gang and has adapted to old school menthods of tracking and scouting, buit his weaponry is very up to date with what materials he could gather. He carried a long, metal bow and metal tipped arrows on his person at all times, usually strapping his weapon across his chest when he's out on his own. His accuracy and aim have said to be perfect by others in his gang. Along with his Bow and Arrow Set, Francis carries three hand sized daggars at his side for close encounter hunting or fighting, which ever they're are needed for. For his exposure to the wilderness, Francis has learned to become very agile and flexable, when barefoot, he is quick to climb trees and flip in the air whenever possible. Gang: Lion's Den - The Lions Den is an unofficial gang per say, Francis has met up with different members during his travels from time to time. All hunters or warriors who live by a honorable code of assisting travelers, working together and staying alive in a group. The gang is full of men and women who come from all over, different cities and those who are drifters for their own purposes. Every member is marked with a certain insignia to show others they are a part of the group, allies of the world who document new areas to hunt and explore and share the news with one another. Francis has refused the branding for now, but is well know in the society already for his mapping of new areas and alternate routes through dangerous terrain. City: Lilly Pad - Though most of the states on the east coast have been flooded with water, the people managed to strive and rebuild their population on top of the water. Their area is now a "Floating Utopia" as some would call it, their main city surrounded by wilderness and boarders to ward off vicious beasts and intruders, while the main city floats atop of their ruined buildings below the citys water level. While they still retain electricity and general goods from other tribes (such as hospitals and law enforcement), the people of Lilly Pad usually tend for themselves with their hunting parties and their trade deals to survive OOC: I think I got everything, hope this is alright! Sorry for the lateness >.<

Name: Demitri Athens Age: 35 Years of Age Sex: Male Code Name: "Wind Wizard" Appearance:http://4.bp.blogspot...t-fighter-9.jpg Personality: Demitri is seen as a born leader and all around good guy, his life has been easily rumord to be "blessed" by those who know him well. He can be a class clown to chipper the mood, but when its time for action, he's a natural strategist and role model to soldiers and superiors alike. Being a single father of three children, he's had to take on a lot of responsibility to make sure his kids are taken care of equally, sometimes it can conflict with his work, but the man tries his best to balance both worlds while serving his organization. Background: Demitri's family come from a long line of wealth and prestigue, his mother, Tabitha "Touch" Athens, is the Chief of Medicine for the H.D.F while his father, Pavlos "Sheild" Athens currently runs the whole organization as the current Commandant. Equivilent to the humans leader, the President of the United States. Having been the only child from the two, Demitri has been given every aspect of attention and love, along with advancements in life to achieve his goals. Demitri joined H.D.F when he turned 17, some years later, he met his future wife, Alexandria. Alexandria was a powerful mystic like her brother, Marcus, who both used runes and studied various spellcasting from years past. Both an asset to the H.D.F organization for their skills and years of experience with the supernatural on a more mystical level. Demitri was placed with the Demons siblings and a few others in Alpha Elite, where Demitri courted Alexandria, and they finally married. Marcua and Demitri became close friends from then on, enemies at first, but with Alexandria's persuasion, she defused the tension between the two. During their years serving, Demitri and Alexandria bore three children together, who each possess their own special abilities. A year after the incident in Texas, Alexandria bore her last child, Neos, and passed away during an accident not too long afterwards. It left Demitri heartbroken, but he needed to tend to his family while mourning the loss of his wife. Now as a full Commander, Demitri balances the life of a single father and leader to soldiers. Always making sure never to clash the two together to distract him from his duties as a soldier, and that of a father. Abilities: Demitri is known as the master of the wind element, before he was limited to one attack at a time, but with training over the last decade and extensive combat rituals, his powers have evolved faster than normal soldiers would. Able to produce shotgun like wind blasts, barriers, cutting attacks and even suck the air out of another person when the time calls for it. Demitri has also adapted his powers in a new way, able to teleport himself by moving like the air around him, enabling the man to vanish in a second to reappear in another area of his choosing. It is limited for now, but the soldier has been practicing more and more as the years passed, extending his distance in the process. Weapons: Demitri's skills with his pistols is matched by none other, keeping two at his thighs with leg holsters and two attached to the back of his pants belt. Spare ammo clips on either side of his lips, four in all. Demitri is also well skilled in hand-to-hand combat and now teaches new recruits techniques and combos whenever he gets the chance.

Location: Dallas, Texas Year: May, 2007  A somewhat normal day in Dallas, Texas this time of year, the weather reached an all-time high of one-hundred and five degrees, nothing new to the southern state as the people were accustomed to the onslaught of heat. The clear skies added to the scenery, giving its civilian population something to look forward to as they went about their day like any other. In the midst of downtown, the heavy population of workers and commuters finished their day of work and began their trek home to enjoy the weekend festivities planned. A slight humming sound broke the silence of the civilians as they all looked around, at first it was just a light humming noise, but as the seconds pasted, the noise became deeper. The sheer vibrations became powerful enough to rattle cars and smaller items, the innocent bystanders shook where they stood. Some falling to the ground while others looked for a sturdy item to hold them still while the vibrations continued, loud pops began to sound in the air as glass shattered one by one. Windows, doors and delicate crystal all broke from the powers of the ominous humming noises. Then, suddenlyâ?¦silence. The civilians looked around, thinking an earthquake must have passed by unexpectantly, not one word was said in the eerie silence as everyone seemed too shocked to speak, and they were right to be. Without warning, the earth underneath the packed streets rose up with a mighty force, bringing forth a large goliath sized creature from the dirt as it roared with a mightier scream than the previous humming. Cars tossed in the air with people trapped inside, only to land and explode upon where they impacted, some on the side of buildings, others onto pedestrians in the streets and so on. The masses screamed and tried to flee the scene, but more and more of these monsters rose from different points in the city, causing the same chaos as the first. Finally making its whole body out of the earthly grave, the creature began to thrash about whatever came in its path.  â??****, theyâ??re out in the open now. Cloak!â? Demitri shouted into his ear piece communicator as he rushed to the scene of the second creatureâ??s emergence.  â??Yes Captain, weâ??re already on extraction duties, all hands are on deck for this one. Should we inform the Commandant of the situation?â? The other voice responded in prompt haste to his superior. â??I canâ??t say we can keep this on the hush-hush, make sure you have all the agents necessary to cover the scene and take these monsters down. If anyoneâ??s on vacation you grab and go, no time to answer question, they should know by nowâ? Demitri spoke his final order before turning a corner, seeing the massive monster swing at the civilians, their bodies tossed into the air like fallen leaves, screaming and crying as their final breaths taken away from them by this unknown demon. Demitri grunted as his fists balled up tightly; gathering what power he could to unleash to make his stand. As the goliath beast arose his arm to continue his assault, Demitri extended his hands forward, unleashing a gale force wind from his palms. The force was enough to push the man back a little, but once the wind blast connected with his target, it sliced through is body, severing his limb as his arm fell to the ground in a bloody crash. Enraged, the creature turned around and saw the muscular man, as did everyone else who saw what did had just done. â??Letâ??s danceâ? Demitri roared as he charged the beast with all his strength, firing off more wind blasts towards the torso and shoulder areas of its body. Mighty roars filled the air with anger and resistance; with only one arm left the creature batted Demitri to the side, the humanâ??s body bounced on the pavement before going through a glass window of a vacant office building.  The monster stalked towards his prey until it suddenly stopped, a large flare of light blinded the creature for a moment, then the earth below shifted and turned, small portions of the ground turned into large hands and rose up, catching and stopping the creature in its tracks. A slender yet fragile woman clapped her hands together and knelt to the ground, touching her palms downward onto the pavement. Once again, another flare of light, but this time, concrete and gravel spikes arose, piercing every major organ and killing the monster in seconds. Once finished, the woman stood tall and made her way to where her superior was, seeing the bloody trail she made haste, finding the man at the back of the suite, sitting at the corner huffing for air.  â??Demitri!â? She gasped, the man groaned in pain as his eyes opened to see his team mate.  â??Alexandiraâ?¦â? He hissed in pain, the woman knelt next to the soldier, tearing off her shirt sleeve to stop the bleeding on his forehead.  â??Cloak got me from base; he said everyone was needed for this one. I donâ??t know how weâ??re going to get out of this one, weâ??ve been compromised.â? She spoke; echoes of the other monsters roars filled the air from their original locations. On the south end close to the interstate, a lone werewolf tackled one of the massive beats while a young, petite girl in the same uniform as Demitri stood at a distance, firing off her sniper rifle at its limbs. On the eastern front of downtown, a large fire surrounded the monster, slowly killing and searing its flesh while ice shards continued to fain from the sky down onto its enemy. At the western end of downtown, the local police witnessed a man in a black cloth and hood encase people into his outfit, and itâ??s as if they suddenly vanished as he continued to do his task one person at a time. While he extracted the civilians, a senior man with massive muscled stood over a small group of injured people, the creature bashed down onto his body, but each blow as blocked by an invisible force, protecting them all from the blows. Suddenly, throwing daggers were tossed at its neck by an agile young girl, followed by rising rock spikes from a taller and older man with military fashioned hair as they all worked together to kill off these creatures at once. Police sirens filled the air as the local authorities did their best to evacuate anyone they could from the monsters that appeared; those who stood and tried to best off the beasts were stuck down one by one. Their weapons no match for the might and brute force these monsters unleashed onto the human population. On site news reporters did their best to cover the story and stay out of harmâ??s way; most of them unsuccessful and fell during the line of fire between the unknown soldiers and the creatures from the earth. Helicopters soared through the sky with SWAT teams and more news crews to capture every moment as it unfolded before their eyes.  â??â?¦as you can see from the mayhem down below, unknown creatures are wreaking havoc at the main corners of Dallas. The casualties seem to soar with the damages; local police seem helpless to prevent any further death and chaos. But as we see hereâ?¦â? The cameraman zoomed down onto high way below where cars piled up, most abandoned by their owners while the fighting commences between the creatures and the unknown soldiers defending who they could. â??â?¦there seems to be a woman and a man fending off this building sized monster andâ?¦Oh my lord! I donâ??t know what to say ladies and gentlemen, the woman opened her mouth and a type of shockwave blast hit this creature directly in the chest, sending him sprawling backwards andâ?¦this is incredible! The man with her leaped into the air with what seemed to be swords and made a direct hit to the monsters heart. If we look closely all we could see on this man is two blue bandanas around his wrist andâ?¦this is just incredible. Whoever these people are, they are our only hope to get rid of these things. Back to you Natashaâ?  â??Thank you Matthew, more reports are coming in about this sudden attack in Dallas, Texas. The president has given the National Guard and military personnel the green light to assist ASAP. Just a momentâ?¦â?  The woman scanned her teleprompter with haste. â??This just in, another monster has surfaced near a school district on the northeast side of downtown Dallas. Weâ??re taking you live nowâ?.  â??Yes Natasha, this footage taken by our cameramen shows a live fight between another massive monster that surfaced outside of a local school district, already 5 buses ready to evacuate the children were crushed and destroyed by this beast. Once another bus was on the verge of attack, it suddenly vanished in a cloud like mist before the monster could slam its fists down onto the vehicle. As you see from the footage, a woman charges at this monster with full force, but she seems to be encased in some kind of reflective diamond material, followed closely by a young boy who looks no younger than 13 or so encased in solid steel. Both are keeping the monster at bay, but now another person has joined the fight against this monster, andâ?¦oh my goodness, his body has changed into a large T-Rex and has joined the fight! Natasha this is something Iâ??ve never seen before in my career as a reporter andâ?¦look out for that car!!!â?¦.â? The line went dead instantly, showing only static from the reporters end.  â??Matthew? Matthew!!â? The anchorwoman shouted, tears welled in her eyes as she tried to muster up the courage to continue her broadcast while silently mourning for her colleague.  â??You shouldnâ??t be here Alexandria, not in your conditionâ? Demitri held onto her hand delicately and looked at her stomach, still flat and well defined by physical statues.  â??Weâ??re in this together Demitri, no one is going to do this aloneâ? Both soldiers looked at one another and smiled, without warning, vapor like gas appeared in front of the two, a man and an older woman appeared from thin air. The woman quickly knelt down and examined the soldier, her hands began to glow a shade of emerald green as the wounds on his body began to close up and heal slowly.  â??Captainâ? The voice of Cloak sounded on Demitriâ??s earpiece.  â??Go aheadâ? He responded.  â??Mission accomplished sir, all creatures were taken down. Unfortunately, weâ??ve all been seen and the Commandant commands a mass extraction immediately while we regroup and go into lockdown. Itâ??s a mess sir, I wonâ??t sugar coat it. Are you all ready?â? Demitri gave a grunt in response as the others prepared themselves. Cloak vanished from his spot after dropping off the last injured bystander and appeared on top of the tallest building in the city; his cloak seemed to expand with limitless material as his eyes turned as white as light. It flowed freely as it engulfed buildings, street corners and provided a pitch black cover until the whole city was surrounded by his cloak, the civilians inside scared and speechless at the sudden darkness. With a mighty cry, the man opened the cloak by extending his arms to the side, bringing light once more to those down below, his cape returning to normal as it returned to the manâ??s body, and suddenly, he vanished as well. All the soldiers and the deceased creatures gone from their locations, the civilians who witnessed still in awe as the police and fire departments scrambled to do what they can.  Current Year: 2012  Years have passed this that horrifying event; still a yearly memorial is held for those who lost their lives, civilians and officers alike under the surprise attack from the creatures unknown. Some speculate aliens have finally come to our world for domination, others believe it was a government experiment gone horribly wrong. As the years passed, so did the suspicions, for some. Deep in the underground levels of the White House in Washington, D.C; the current President of the United States meets with his council once again, having receiving an urgent call from Secretary of State. The President entered a war room like chamber with his highest leaders and commanders assembled, all stood as he entered and sat when he sat at the throne of the table.  â??What is this important news you wanted me to see at 3 in the morning General?â? He asked, yawning slightly, rudely awakened from his slumber.  â??Mr. President, we have discovered some shocking information about the incident that happened 5 years ago in Texas, sir.â? The president raised an eyebrow for a moment before sitting upright in his chair, poised and ready.  â??Go onâ?  â??From our initial reports, the creatures are not extraterrestrial, not with the remains we were able to scrounge from the battle grounds. They are actually from our planet.â? The president stroked his beard as he continued to listen. â??They are a folklore creature known as Golems, thought to be rock like creatures with massive strength and protectors, but as we discovered thatâ??s a false claim. Their sheer size and strength is enough proof to us to believe they were the same creatures talked about in olden stories, just with different physical appearances and so on.â?  â??Good findings, but that does not give us clues as to where they came from in the first place. I was hoping we would have more information on those people who were fending off the beasts when our own military and police force couldnâ??t make a dent.â? The president looked over the files in front of him, again and again a dead end. Photo identifications matched nothing in their government records, blood collected from various scenes matched no humans in the databanks, and no fingerprints could find them the answers they needed.  â??No sir, butâ?¦we have a lead nowâ? The president looked up in shock as a sealed tight bag was passed to him with an emblem, from one of the uniforms the unknown soldiers. Upon closer inspection, caked blood from years past and dirt from the battle scene still stained the patch like the fight just happened. Looking closer on the emblem, the President could make out three letters.  â?? "H.D.F." Hmmm, interestingâ?. The president had a slight smile on his face; finally they were onto something that could lead them to the bottom of this mystery. â??Continue you report General.â?    WITCHES: Mankindâ??s Apocalypse  We are known as the Human Defense Force, soldiers with far more advance physical, mental, and supernatural qualities trained to defend normal humans from creatures of the dark. Vampires, Sea Creatures, Werewolves and similar monsters that go bump in the night. Our mission is to make sure the human population is protected from these monsters of the night and to never expose ourselves as their silent protectors. Also to keep whatever peace we can with non-hostile creatures, those who will aide us in our fight against vile forces who wish to connect our secret world with the human race. Our soldiers come from all across the globe, bringing their own unique gifts and talents to the table, and for that, they are well rewarded.  Our motto is simple, when monsters go bump in the night, WE BUMP BACK!  However, with the only exposure to the human population that showed our organization in full action many years ago, our base of operations has come under compromise. Our bases are disguised as schools, hospitals, shipping factories, government facilities and so on to let our organization work in the open without alarming the already suspicious human government. Our soldiers must lead the H.D.F and work from the deepest part of the shadows, in fear of revealing ourselves once more. We still remain in the deepest parts of the shadows, watching over the human race as its silence protectors from evil and mayhem.  Sign-Up  Name: [Creativity works best] Age: [If you choose to be a supernatural creature (i.e: Werewolf, vampire, etc.], youâ??re limited to 200 years tops. Your species may have lived older than that, but you will be considered new and specially selected to join the H.D.F] Gender: [M/F] Appearance: [Picture or description will suffice] Personality: [Not everyone is a lone wolf (pardon the pun), or happy go lucky. Be creative. We once thought that humans were the only specials intelligent and thriving in our simple solar system, theories of other worlds and life forms have been the center of the entertainment business and scientific theories. How simple things were many millenniaâ??s ago, and now, the fantasy is more than an idea. Itâ??s a reality. In the year 2400, mankind received a communication signal from one of its orbiting probes beyond the outer ring planets. At first ignored due to the possibility of technical malfunction, but then though as fact after more and more signals began to transmit. Soon, Earthâ??s scientists and explorerâ??s traveled towards the strongest source and were astonished at what met them half way. Aliensâ?¦or to us there were, and to them we were. Having finally touched our corner of the galaxy, these aliens returned with the humans to Earth to learn more about their race and how they adapted on a single planet for so many years while leaving the others vacant. In turn, the alien race shared their technology with the human race, advancing their knowledge of the other galaxy systems and aliens that roamed around space seeking new life and spreading their knowledge. That was the first step towards space travel. In the year 3465, most, if not all of Earthâ??s solar system is now inhabited by various creatures and beings from other worlds, mixing and breeding with one another, including humans. But, that came at a most horrid time when peace between the inner and outer planets had failed, pitting one side against the other in a colossal war. The two main factions were the Western Retaliation Front (WRF) and the Eastern Galactic Separatists (EGS). Both sides fought for dominance over Earthâ??s solar system for various resources, such as Mercuryâ??s abundant water supply, Jupiterâ??s natural space fuel mines, to Plutoâ??s telecommunication outpost. A simple voice on each side arose armies which none the like have seen before of all species of the galaxy to fight for their own beliefs and dominance. Earthâ??s current King during those times could no longer be the advocator for both sides and remained neutral, while planet faced off with planet, brothers against brothers in a simple matter of territory and honor. The Great Space war lasted another 2000 years. Until, suddenly, a group of soldiers banded together in secret and wiped out the lead forces of both opposing sides. Freeing its people from further destruction and damnation from the war; and slowly brining the fighting to a standstill until a chance of peace arose from the ashes of battle. It was not long for Earth to finally come from the shadows of silence to offer a peace negotiation between the two opposing forces, and finally bring peace to the planets once more. Eventually, both sides agreed that too much blood has been spilled, and a new treaty was signed to end the great space war once and for all. These warriors of the shadows were brought to light once the war was finished. Skilled fighters, computer hackers, medical officers, military soldiers and even common thiefâ??s gathered together from both sides of the rings boarders to band together and do what they have to, and kill whom they must to make sure peace was brought to light. Humans and aliens alike banded together, sold their souls and made the ultimate sacrifice to ensure safety could be brought to the galaxy once more. Some perished, others survived with stories to tell their children, and always be ready to serve if peace were glooming in the shadows. They were known as the Shadow Soldier Corps (SSC), the King of Earthâ??s last trump card to save what little was left of his kingdom and territory against such rage and hatred. The members of the SSC were never publically named, but they remained ever the ready in case their king calls for them once more. Out of the 50 original Shadow Soldier Corps members from years past, only 3 remain alive, holding the secret of their past, and of their families past. But there are still next of kin sworn into the order by blood, once initiated into the SSC order, they will be forever bound by duty to answer the call when war threatens the very sanctity of peace. The year is 4294â?¦and war between the galaxy now stretching on a thin line, not just between the inner and outer rings of Earth solar system, but whole star systems themselves. Armies are rising to the Westward systems while the Eastern planets gather their war ships and make their treaties. Once more the W.R.F and E.G.S factions have risen for more than Earthâ??s solar system and resources, but for the star systems currently mapped out in the galaxy. The current King of Earth, King Brandon, cannot extend his please any more, for no ear shall listen to his words. Now, as a final desperate chance of hope, the King reaches out for those who answered his call before and fought in the shadows for the side of peaceâ?¦the Shadow Soldier Corps. Little does the King of Earth know; the main reason there are only 3 remaining members alive is for the simple factâ?¦not all of their deaths were simply natural. Continuing On.... Both Vectis and Zen continued to converse silently as they tried to keep to themselves from any suspicious characters that would walk into the Vourian pub, or were already in the area. Zen had to be especially careful, the Nymphantile still wore his Galaxy Police uniform since working the night shift the day before, before any of the recent events took place. The mysterious woman who came looking for his father that evening, who's name was revealed as Katherine, but that was all Zen could get out of her before the police station assassination. His colleagues and best friend were murdered, and his own life was in danger, along with the human woman who came looking for him at the station. Then, it all went to hell when Zen and Katherine ran into the mysterious Vectis, who happened to be looking for Zen's father as well. More question continued to pop into Zen's head, but for the moment, they were still out in the open and on high alert for anything that might go down. The failed assassination attempt on Zen's life still had the man a little worried, but now that Katherine had gone on her own, the two were able to take on anything without worrying for her life. Humans were fragile after all. The plan was simple, hide out for a while and wait until morning time, but as time passed by, the morning hours approached quickly, but the crowd only grew inside the bar. Zen peered around, keeping his hat low to cover his eyes, it was bad enough for the Nymph that he had green body hair, but his eyes were especially bright under florescent lighting. Vectis remained calm, he would occasionally search around for any shady characters, but he remained close to Zen, fearing for his life more than ever after receiving the message from his father. "Zen, you have to understand, the Shadow Soldier Corps is not even known in the underworld. None of these low lives would have a clue what it really is" Vectis took a swig of his brew before the bartender came around and offered the men two full mugs. They took it without question. "If what you say is true, then that would mean that years ago, the King of Earth had his own "Hit Squad" to deal with the factions back then, and now the current King want's to use them again. For what purpose?" Zen took a swig, his tail rested comfortably on his lap, the furry green tip slightly swayed as it hung on his thigh. Looking cute and calm, but remaining on the ready for a surprise attack. "You have to understand, back then it was just a war within Earth's solar system, but now, we have the Eastern part of the galaxy battling it out with the Western division, and both factions are being led by their original leaders. The King of Earth of that time was a wise man, a tactile human who did his best to prevent the war in the first place, but even he had to make a deal with his own devil, but it was for peace. But, it was a random selection for whoever got the emergency message, and lucky for him, he found an elite selection of fifty people who were willing and able to give their lives up to have some sort of hope for peace. Your Father, Torroth, eventually became one of our founding member, we both were the main leaders for our sections of the S.S.C. He took one squad, and I took the other." The information sunk deep, Zen listened to every word, still keeping an eye out for possible danger. The taller of the two men hunched down over the table to get to Vectis' height at the table. "Vectis, you said fifty people were the original member. Where are the rest of them? Why are you looking for me and my father?" Vectis remembered going to visit Torroth and his wife Veronica, but the image of her dead body brought nothing but sorry for both of the Nymphantile men. "I have a feeling we're in the same situation you are my boy" "What do you mean?" Zen raised an eyebrow at the statement. "I haven't been able to get in contact with the other members. I understand that some were human, eventually age would take their lives. But that was only two of them who died naturally, the others were reported "missing" or took their own lives. The others though...it's to much to even say. We were close, we all were like family to one another. It's still hard to believe at times that someone is even hunting us down" Vectis gripped his mug tightly remembering his lost brothers and sisters. "How could they have been hunted down? I thought no one knew of your group". Zen replied, sitting back in his chair and taking a deep breath of the smoke filled bar. "I'd like to know the same thing. Trust me, I do. But for now, my task is to keep you safe and alive and take you to our safe house." The noise in the bar picked up fast, the alien music playing over the speakers along with the other guests made the place seem like a popular hang out for those who walk on the darker side of the light. The morning still dragged as the two kept to themselves and organized a plan for leaving and going further with Vectis' plan of action.
