She noticed that Kayla had replied to the message, depicting the scene in Delta-Hidden-Forbidden-Holy Ground. Kia firmly told herself that she was never going back to that horribe place again. It wasn't very busy, as most people were at work or school. She paused for a moment, viewing the beautiful port, where all the boats were docked. Kia noticed a small Twinblade was sitting in one of the boats.[/i] "Hey, you!"[i]said a man, suddenly appearing behind Kia,[/i] "You wanna fight? I'll bet you all my gold that I can beat you!" "no,"[i]Kia replied,[/i]"I don't wish to fight. Please leave me alone." "Oh, no, I don't think I want to do that,"[i]and with that the man drew his blade, and threw a furious swing at her.[/i] [i]Being a Twinblade, Kia easily dodged the blow, but she was frightened, knowing that this man was a serious threat. The silent Twinblade looked up, and as he saw the two, Kia and this man, a smirk found it's way across his face.[/i] "Get away from me, please!"[i]Kia wailed, dodging blow after blow from this stranger. He chased her into the long ally by the magic shop. Dead end, nowhere to run. The man pushed Kia into a corner, pinned her up by the throat, and growled, "Say goodbye, miss." Kia's eyes widened as he directed his blade at her heart. And, for a brief moment, she saw the mysterious Twinblade creep up behind the man. His lips parted...[/i] "Sir, you are a very sick man,"[i]he said,[/i]"and I don't think I like you." [i]And with that, he jumped onto the Heavyblade's shoulders and rammed both of his daggers through the man's skull. As the evil Heavyblade's body slumped, lifeless, to the ground, the Twinblade spoke to Kia:[/i]"Was this guy troubling you, miss?" [i]Kia could only remember one other time she had been more grateful: when Kayla had shown up to help her find the horrid monster.[/i] "Thank you...for saving my life..." "Hey, no problem. I told you to meet me here, right?" "You meen you're...?" "Yeah, my name's kite,"[i] he said, escorting Kia back to the bridge. As they walked, he whispered:[/i] "So...about this friend of yours..."[/size]

[size=1][i]Kia's heart was still pounding furiously. She cursed at herself under her breath for her cowardice against that little goblin. Then she saw the statue.[/i] [i]the statue, which explained the eerieness of the castle in it's mere presence there, was huge. There on the pedestal it stood, fifteen feet high! The statue depicted a girl, and yet, it seemed almost as if this girl was a ghost, for although the pedestal did, the girl cast no shadow upon the marble floor.[/i] [i]As Kia's pulse returned to normal, she suddenly realized that the music playing here was...sad. The voices calling to her seemed both near and far, and Kia heard children and angels, both.[/i] "Oh, look at this statue!"[i]Kia gasped,[/i]"It looks so...sad." "yes, and look at these chains that are bound to her!"[i]Exclaimed Kayla.[/i] [i]Kia was once again overwhelmed by emotions...unable to control herself, she walked slowly up to the pedestal. Kayla followed her closely. At the base of the pedestal was an inscription.[/i] [i]The first few lines were illegable. But then, as Kayla read:[/i] "Riding the Wave is: Skeith, the shadow of death, to drown all that stands. Mirage of deceit, Innis, betrayed all with the flawed image, and did aid the Wave, and by the power of magus, a drop from the Wave doth reach the heavens, and creates a new Wave. With that Wave, Fidchell, the power to tell the dark future. Hope darkens, misery and despair rule. Gorre schemes when consumed by the cursed Wave. Macha seduces with the sweet trap. Wave reaches pinnacle, and escape none can. Tarvos still remains with more cruelty to punish and destroy. After the turbulance that is the Wave, only a void remains, and from that void arrives Corbenic" [i]The rest is completely faded.[/i] "Oh, it's so sad!"[i]Breathed Kia.[/i] "Yeah...but what is it supposed to mean?"[i]pondered Kayla[/i] "I'm not sure, but...but this place is creeping me OUT!"[i]wailed Kia.[/i][/size]

[size=1][i]Kia began to cry again, this time because she was so happy that someone had believed her. She had already done some asking around Mac Anu, but had mostly just recieved disapproving stares. The inside looked a bit like a church, there was strange music playing, and in the center there was a big statue of a young girl. I couldn't see any monsters, though, so I decided to leave. [I]As Kia warped in to Cultural City Carmina Gadelica, She immediately got a strong feeling she didn't belong there. Honestly, a level 1 Twinblade in Carmina?! Still, she had to find some players who were willing to help her, and she figured you had to be pretty tough to be here in Carmina Gadelica.[/I] "Um...Excuse me?"[I]she said to a passing player.[/I] "Could you help me fight this tough monster that killed my friend?" "What the hell are you doing here?! You're a newbie!!"[I]shouted the stranger, and with that, he thrashed Kia full force in the head with the flat of his blade, and logged out.[/I] [I]Kia winced at the blow, even if she knew she couldn't feel it. No one had ever liked her in the real world, and now she was being beat up in "the World", too.[/I] [I]Still determined to find someone who would help, Kia waited at the chaos gate...[/I]

First adventure, I'll give it a shot: Story: My character Kia and her friend, on their first day in "the World", encounter a strange monster that puts Kia's friend, Kiari in a coma. On a mission of revenge and truth, Kia wants to find the mysterious creature, and kill it. One problem: being a TOTAL newbie, she's only at level one! Also, because this seriously deals with my character's actions and feelings, Kia is frequently abused in the real world because of her passive nature. This leads to frequent "emotional moments" which usually involve inordinate amounts of crying. In the real world, even her parents abuse her, so she plays "the World" on her laptop, usually while she's running away from home. If anyone's interested, I know the entire Epitaph of twilight. I could post it here, but the whole thing will be about two pages long, and entirely "black masked" out.(^_^) It would also take some time... But I won't if no one wants me to.

I've had a disturbing thought...what if this proposed "the World" turns into the nightmare that is .hack//QUARENTINE? IT COULD BE A DISASTER!!!

[size=1][I]The day I entered "the World", my friend Kiara and I went off to a desert area, where we had heard lied the powerful Crimson Raid weapon could be found in the dungeon. Little did we know that this game would change our lives forever...[/I] [I]when we reached the bottom of the dungeon (it was tough...five floors), the game bugged out, and suddenly, a strange, horrible monster confronted us. It immediately directed it's attention towards Kiara, the system bugged out again, and she was gone... Stunned in horror, I could only look on as the powerful creature turned to face me. A small leaf fell from it's body, and as it hit the ground, a small, white number appeared over it: 15.[/I] [I]Seeing this timer, I was quickly torn from my awe. I knew for sure that if that if that counter reached 0, something terrible would surely happen. Yet the horrible monster was between me and the "leaf", and I was too frightened to try to get past it. So...[/I] I ran. [I]Not fast enough, I reached the door. Looking back, I saw a massive explosion heading straight for me. It was right there that I died.[/I] [I]I was too spooked to play again, so I decided to call up Kiara. I called her fifteen times, but she still wouldn't pick up the phone...and later, I found out that she had fallen into a coma.[/I] ------------------------------------------ -----=====Board Post=====----- ------------------------------------------ My name is Kia Tohama. Not particularly caring where she went, she entered a random keyword at the gate. Unfortunatly, she accidentally warped to a level 13 field. Of course she didn't realize this, as she was entirely new to "the World". As she approached a magic portal, chills ran down her spine: she had a feeling something horrible would arrive before her. Indeed, out emerged a Tetra Armor. "Bring it on!"she shouted. It wasn't even a battle. The Tetra Armor smashed Kia into the ground. Stunned from this initial attack, she looked up just in time to see that horrible spiked ball brutally crush her head back into the ground. /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\GAME OVER/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ Minutes later, Kia was standing on the bridge once again. Now begining to despair for her friend, she began to cry, praying that someone would answer her post on the board...[/size]

Oh, my GOD, why has no one here even MENTIONED Skeith?! AAHHHRRRGGGG!!!! Is it because it can't talk? Or that it looks like a floating pile of stones? ...Or...maybe it's just that Skeith [*spoiler]Data Drained Sora[*/spoiler] and everyone here hates it for that!!!!IS THAT IT?!?!?! ...Oh, well. I still say Skeith is the coolest.

Thanks... Oh, just one more thing: do those scary Data Bug Trolls come back after you kill them if you leave the dungeon?

Actually, I brought Ryoko and Wiseman along. The House Trolls were all Data Bugs, and I had to leave because the infection spread maxed out...(^_^)

[COLOR=blue]in .hack//OUTBREAK, that little girl asks you to go with her to E Generous Dolorous Virgin.[/COLOR] [COLOR=red]But when you get there, the only monsters are house trolls with Data Bugs!!![/COLOR] [COLOR=green]How the heck do I get through that?![/COLOR] Any help would be very much appreciated...Thanks.
