Yes he does. I thought it was pretty well done. http://i43.tinypic.com/oj065s.jpg
Looks like some iPod ad..... -
That's definitely an interesting selection of Tatoo, Vicky. My grandparents are in town for my sister's graduation, so I'm gonna be stuck at the house entertaining relatives. My grandparents on my father's side of the family are really nice and easy going, but if my cousins come....lord help me. I may be arrested for murder.... Obviously I don't choke children

I'm sorry Raiha, but David Carradine will always be better than Heath Ledger. Sure, the Dark Knight perfomance was brilliant, but David Carradine has a much lengthier resume and in my honest opinion, David Carradine was a much better actor. So, while the legions of Ledger fangirls can mourn over the death of an actor who's best role happened to be his last one, Carradine's legacy is a little more well known. Kung Fu was a huge series and Kill Bill will ultimately go down as one of the best cult classics of our generation's time. I'm not discounting Ledger's life. He had a long life ahead of him. But as far as acting resumes go, Carradine wins this bout.

So one of my favorite all-time actors has passed away. David Carradine, known for his roles in TV such as his starring role in the 70s TV series Kung Fu and most recently for his role as Bill in the Kill Bill movies, was found dead in his hotel room. http://www.mtv.com/movies/news/articles/1613257/story.jhtml The cause of his death isn't exactly mentioned. Some say it was a suicide, others say it was just of natural causes. Nothing has been confirmed yet. Like I mentioned, David Carradine was one of my all time favorite actors. I loved him has Bill in Kill Bill. He had so many awesome lines and he really made that movie for me. David Carradine took the character of Bill and made it his own. I don't think any other actor could have done that character as well as he did. Before that was Kwai Chang Caine.... *OMGAWD* If you haven't seen Kung Fu, then you don't really know how well he did. He "took" the role from Bruce Lee, but I don't think it really would have mattered if he did or not. Watching that series from beginning to end was the very beginning of Carradine's acting carreer. It was awesome, regardless of the production values of the show. It's what really spawned the "young grasshopper" stuff you hear. The acting world will never be the same. :

I live in the complete opposite place from Basement Cat, so I guess I don't get the added pleasure of having cold ground underneath my feet (paws?). I'm an all-seasons soda drinker, but I love getting a soda from the fridge after a day out in the sun. I also enjoy having Powerade or Gatorade, but nothing beats a nice cold can of Pepsi. Although I'm pretty sure my kidneys are not going to be functioning by the time I turn 25....

This year I was massively underwhelmed by the lack of real "progress" from last year's E3. I mean, you have some massive titles being dropped (Splinter Cell, Metal Gear and Metroid caught my eye) but gaming really hasn't done anything totally "roxorzurboxorz" from last year. If memory serves, the motion sensor plus for the Wii was announced last year's E3. But, I was really underwhelmed because I've come to expect that big titles will be dropped at every E3. Has to be that way. Now when I look at the show, I look for what new IDEAS they're coming out with. The Wii is an example of this. This really took gaming to a different level because of how original it was. Nintendo also confirmed it's status as a casual gaming mastermind and took that stance as a promoter of physical fitness. Microsoft and Sony released some things that were ok (HOME for the PSN was alright) but nothing that really CHANGED the industry. But it seems like the companies are sort of going in different directions with their game selection. Nintendo no doubt will appeal to casual gamers more than the hardcore audience. Sony and Microsoft cater more to the hardcore audience and seem to be pushing their online components just a tad more than the Wii is at this point (although the online capabilities of the Wii are really friggin sweet). But the lack of any really fresh ideas at E3 didn't surprise me. Companies are pushing their current gen systems and software, but I'm the kind of person who likes to see progress from year to year in the areas of how games are played instead of "ooooh lookie, another sequel to a hit franchise". In weirder Korey news, about this time last year I was in San Antonio, driving on a 10 hour trip for a vacation with my ex...:animestun I'm kind of glad that El Paso doesn't get too many muggy days. It's nice to just have just plain heat instead of 100 degrees BEFORE humidity. That's always a perk.

Oop, not Stackhouse, it's Stephon Marbury. I knew it was someone who was playing for a no name team *cough* The Knicks *cough*. Still, having another really good player like Marbury was no excuse for losing to the Magic.Celts choked. Big time. I think if KG was healthy, the Celtics would be playing the Cavs instead of the Magic. EDIT: Shaq really doesn't NEED to be traded to the Lakers. Pao Gasol has had a tremendous tenure with the Lakers and adding Shaq to the Lineup is only going to hurt the Lakers, not help. Think about it. Shaq has won 4 rings (3 with the Lakers, one with the Heat). What kind of contract do you think he would want if he went back to LA? A pretty big one. Granted, Shaq probably isn't worth the money he says he is worth, but it's still a financial strain on the Laker's budget. And I'll be the first to say this: Shaq has lost his footing and isn't a dominant force in Today's NBA. He is older, more injury prone and can't make the plays he's made before. Shaq is something akin to Ben Wallace now. Dwight Howard can outscore, outrebound and generally outplay Shaq. So can Pao Gasol, Kevin Garnett (although KG is pretty old too) and several other players who's name escapes me now. I think the Suns kind of fudged it a bit when they traded for Shaq. One season they were real dominant until the Western Conference finals, then this year they dropped to last in the West due to Injuries and the like. Shaq wants to play on winning teams, but the thing is....the winning teams don't want or need Shaq. Just because Shaq WAS a dominant force in the league when he played for the Lakers and that SINGLE year he played on the Heat (which is BS, Dwayne Wade won that title) doesn't make him a good fit in the Lakers's system. You have to look beyond the glisten of the championship rings and look at basketball for what it is. Matchups.

Kobe Bryant can't handle having another superstar interrupting his lineup. Also, with Pao Gasol as the starting big man, why would you ever need Shaq anyways? His production is down and he's not the same Shaq who has 3 rings.
81 with 7 assists, 3 rings, soon to be 4. Kobe is a monster and he's going to have Shack on his team next year, so suck it, huge nose Lebron.
LeBron is averaging at least 35 points, 7 assists and 8 rebounds a game in the playoffs. Even Kobe hasn't done that .He is single handedly carrying the Cavs on his shoulders and has big games night after night, just the team falls short. If the bench picks up points, they win. It's just that the Magic stack up well against the Cavs as a team. Lebron is gonna get his points no matter what. The Cavs don't have a reliable low post presence and Mo Williams is on and off in the playoffs, which isn't what the Cavs need. As for Kobe, the Lakers have a better chance of winning the Finals because of the people they have. With the Magic or the Cavs as their opponent, the Lakers match up better on paper. However, the Lakers have shown that they have two sides to themselves in the playoffs. If Kobe can't get going, then the whole lineup struggles. If Gasol struggles, then the Lakers are non-existant in the post. Bynum is still young and lacks the playoff experience to carry the team on his shoulders, and Trevor Ariza is a role player at best. So, the key to stopping the Lakers is holding Kobe and Gasol and limiting their offense to only shot a possession. Easier said than done, as it would appear. Now, as for the idea of Shaq,Kobe and Phil Jackson re-aligning, it's not really a sure-fire ticket to winning. Case in point, this year's Celtics. Despite the loss of Kevin Garnett, the Celts didn't finish on top of the Eastern Conference and went 7 games with teams they should have beat easily (the bulls? please). You have Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, Paul Pierce and Jerry Stackhouse on the SAME TEAM! Doc Rivers won the coach of the year last year. How can that possibly be a formula for defeat? (wow, this doesn't seem like a typical post for this thread...heh)
EDIT:
%@#$ WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?
X_X Whoever came up with that is pure evil.
That'd be Des.... I'm kind of dissapointed by the prospect of having the Magic versus the Lakers in the NBA finals. I like Lebron James and I would rather not see the technical foul prone Dwight Howard (who can't keep his mouth shut) versus Kobe Bryant, who I've hated since day 1. When you can get a shooting foul off of a drive to the basket and get hacked on the floor, I give up on NBA officiating. Kobe fouls really suck. Puts LA back in the game. Bah, Humbug.

How can rickrolling at someone's dance possibly contain any sort of suck? In other rickrolling news, I told my brother this past Sunday if I had the choice of songs when I went up to bat for the Major Leagues, I would pick Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up" for my song. He didn't think it was too funny, but the prospect of it seemed pretty amusing to a geek like me.

Ok, let's see what we can do... Vicky: Unforunately, I'd say that's a bug with your FF or that you have a virus on your computer that causes it process the strokes backwards. Try checking your computer for viruses and making sure you have the latest version of FF on your harddrive. Also, delete all of your cookies off of your system. That should clear things up. Allamorph: It sounds like your computer just can't connect to the internet. I would say it's your modem. If the tower is working just fine and nothing has changed, it is doubtful that's the case. Also, you want to make sure that your network settings haven't changed if the network was a secure network. That makes a huge difference in networking. Chaos: That's odd, because those connections all run through the same (wired? wireless?) router. You need to check your ports on all of the connections and make sure that everything is freed up. Also, make sure that your 360 connection isn't taking up too much bandwith that it causes the other systems not to get a stable connection. *tags in Des for further advice*

HAWT Some pictures to let people know I exist. The one of just me is from this weekend, where we went to San Diego for Memorial Day. I was being goofy with my mom's camera. The second one is of me and the missus when she was in El Paso for spring break. That was a really fun week. We took this picture at the park. I love the outdoors.
