kitsune899, I'd be happy to help you but I'll need a little more information about your problem before I can. What exactly do you mean by getting your layout to show up?

KingYuki, when creating a thread, the opening post is very important. It should contain something to promote discussion. If the initial post is short and spammy, it generates responses like the one you got here. I'll be closing this thread but you can re-create it if you start the new one out a little better. A link to the official website is not enough. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me or any other Staff Member. Thread closed. Edit: And Clurr beat me to it... (but she forgot to close the thread the first time! =P) -Clurr

Welcome to OtakuBoards, Dr. Funk. We have some rules that we ask members to follow in regards to how they post. Posts should be written in such a way as to promote discussion and lists do not do that. You should describe why the movies you listed had some impact on you so others have something to go on. In addition to the fact that you have no descriptions of your movies, we already have a couple of movie threads like this one floating around. Please be sure to use the search feature and/or scan the thread list before creating a new thread. I advise you take a look at the Rules and FAQ before you continue posting. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me or any other Staff member. Thread closed.
It's not quite fair to measure by the current month, though, since we're only two thirds of the way through it yet. And of course, a lot of the long-term drop in posts is probably due to the raised quality standards.
Just to clarify, those stats are only taking into account October 1-19, not the entire month.

aramik, while this thread has potential, your opening post doesn't provide much to go on. Please be sure to say a little more about the shows you mention so your post doesn't end up as just a list. I ask that you edit your post to provide some reasoning or even just a little about the shows to get the conversation rolling. And for the record, I loved Thunder Cats. I'd run home every day from school to watch that show. I was so happy when I heard they were coming out on DVD but that happiness was quickly shot down when I saw how expensive they were.

I looked at that question but I use outlook myself so I'm not too sure how to fix your problem with Outlook Express.
-
Hmm... I'm not sure what the problem is then. Here's my suggestion though. Open up an explorer window, go to your C drive, and right click -> properties on each folder within it. Then. post a list of each folder (just the ones in the root of C, not their sub folders) and their sizes as well as your hard drive size and we'll go from there.
-
Under the View tab in Folder Options (Tools -> Folder Options in an explorer window), do you have "Show hidden files and folders" enabled and "Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)" unchecked?
-
I've had a problem like this before and it took me forever to figure it out. Run a search on your hard drive (include hidden files and folders as well as operating system files) for the term "CSC." Alternatively, you can navigate to C:\Windows\CSC (you'll need to show hidden files and folders and uncheck hide protected operating system files in your folder options). Right click on it and click properties. Chances are, it's a very large folder. Just delete everything inside it and you should be okay. Also, to keep this from happening again, go to Tools -> Folder Options from the explorer window and then uncheck Enable Offline Files in the Offline Files tab. If this isn't your problem, just let me know and I'll see what else I can find. Good luck!

If it's not working in multiple places, it probably is your account and your only option is to contact someone on the Staff there. They are very busy people so you may not get a response right away. Wait a while and if you still haven't heard from anyone, re-send the email with a more prominent subject (if you haven't done this already) so it might catch the reader's attention a little better.

In all honesty, I don't see much more than the comments left below the video appearing in this thread. Please make sure when making a new thread to consider the responses you'll get. Opening posts should not spawn short "I like it" type responses, which yours likely will. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me or any other Staff member. Thread closed.

This topic is really a general discussion and as such, it is more suited for the Otaku Lounge, which is where it's going.
-
To use spoiler tags, just put [*spoiler]...
(remove the *) around the text you want to black out. For instance, [*spoiler]Some text here
(again without the *) produces this:
Some text here
. And that's all there is to it.
-
I'd suggest contacting someone on the staff over at theOtaku.com then. The first couple of people to come to mind are Adam and SunfallE.
-
You tried clearing the cache too? If so, what browser are you using?
-
First, try just logging out and logging back in. If that doesn't work, clear your browser's cache and try again.

Hello, uchiha kadee, and welcome to OtakuBoards. We strive to promote good post quality here so when posting, please use proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling. I'd take a look at the rules and FAQ if you haven't done so already. When posting a new thread, there are a couple of things you should think about. First, see if there is a recent thread of the same topic. If there is, use the already existing thread to avoid clutter. In this case, though it isn't listed on the front page, there is a fairly recent MCR thread, which can be found here. Please use that thread instead. Also, the initial post should promote discussion. For instance, explain what you like or don't like about the artist, album, or song so others have something to go on. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me or any other Staff member. Thread closed.

They do. Just don't do it too often.

Music, Movies & TV is for discussing music, movies, and TV and their specifics. This is a more general question so I'll be moving it over to the Otaku Lounge.
You don?t necessarily have to e-mail Adam
I realize Adam isn't the only one who can handle things like this but since the Staff page on theOtaku isn't yet complete, he was the first person who came to mind.

A user cannot be banned because you do not like them. However, if said user has broken any of the Terms of Service, you can report him by emailing /"]Adam. Of course, in order to be taken seriously, you'll need to provide some proof of the user breaking the rules and by deleting the guestbook entry and comments, you don't have any.
-
If you mean how to add a background image, go to your Edit Styles page from the Backroom and fill in the "Add A Background Image" text box with the URL of the image you want to use.

Just add this code where you want the music player to appear:

Roleni-Chan, this topic is already covered by two different threads. A favorite band(s) thread can be found here and a favorite genre(s) one here. I realize the genre thread hasn't been posted in since January but since it was around for quite a while, I see no problem in bringing it back (unless the rest of the Staff doesn't agree?). In the future, please use the search feature before creating a new thread. Also, when creating a favorites thread, be sure to explain your choices as this will help to promote discussion. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me or any other Staff member. Thread closed.
