Wow. I liked that alot. The whole poem revolves around the whole theme of a person not being able to perform the actions they did once before. The last line ties it all together, and makes this topic change from a poem about a person about to die, to a person about to be euthanized. I'm not sure if they want to be, but I think the person does. The only thing I didn't like was the second stanza. It flowed very well, but it felt a little distant and obscure to the rest of the poem. Maybe you wanted it that way.
Here's one: I am mountains without stone, Forests without trees, Oceans without water, And land without earth. What am I?
Nothing. And I have no idea about your new riddle, elf-pirate. Sorry if my post was short/spammy, as I have nothing but an answer to contribute to this discussion. -_-;;

"Damn. This is nuts. I suppose I should be happy for Ajack, finally becoming Apollo's pilot, and ending the battle. But all he did was clean up what I had finished!" Will you quit it! Stop trying to be the glory hog! I know you're usually not like this, and I know you fought very well this battle. Overall, you had the highest kill count. But you have more urgent matters to attend to. He was right, once again. Keiji felt rather ashamed of himself, and looked at his sensors. They showed Sayne's MechAnima lying with all its systems shut down with sustained critical damage. He flew over, knew he couldn't open a COM transmission to his shut down mech, and picked him up. Looking over at Apollo, he saw Ajack's MechAnima lying crippled by in fair condition. It was a day of much pain and bloodshed. He clutched Sayne's mech gently with talons that usually gutted titanium alloy, and flew at a rather gentle speed so as not to further damage his MechAnima. He reached the hangar, and dropped his load lightly onto the floor, where a huge team ran to make urgent repairs. A team of medics also ran out into the hangar, seeing about Keiji, as well as the small number of MechAnimas making it back to the hangar. Keiji was rather unharmed, and stayed in Amatu, watching teams go to and fro, fixing, repairing, assessing damage. They did some body work on Amatu, as well. A few bullets managed to become lodged in the wings, a few had penetrated it. But hadn't been enough to prove a hinderance to Amatu. "Damn. Look at it all. I can't believe everyone's so hurt! I want them to be better!" He slammed on the wall as hard as he could with his left fist, yelling to Amatu. He was silent for a while, then answered him. As do I. But the team needs training. Sayne should've been able to take out that Pegasus MechAnima, had he gotten enough training. You all can't expect to operate these things like pros... you've only had us for a few days! "You're right. I trained with you though. Why didn't everyone else try the same?" Because they found other pursuits, such as romance and socializing more fun. But it ended up that they should've sacrificed these ... luxuries for more time to save themselves bodily harm. "Oh, come on, Amatu! I like romance and socializing. Hell, I only trained with you truthfully, because I wanted to let go of all my emotional hurt." Keiji trailed off, remembering Sora had turned him down. He shook off the wave of sadness temporarily, comforting himself with the old saying 'there are plenty of fish in the sea.' His thoughts turned once again to the battlefield, and he remembered several of the pilots where still out there returning from the mission. He waiting in his MechAnima, conversing with Amatu, for a debriefing of some sort from a military officer.

Is the answer Samson? I really have no idea how to solve this one, except choosing which letter fits in and is excluded in each name. It's probably wrong. Meh. Thanks for my prize, Panda, but I have no riddle to riddle you with.

My father had two African American parents, making him 100% African American (with slight trace ethnicities thrown in the mix far back.) My mother had a white (Scottish... I think) mother, and an African American father. She's 50% black, 50% white. This makes me 75% African American, 25% White American. Heh. White American... sounds so wrong, but that's what there is on the standardized questionarres. Aside from being black and white, my (biological) brother has extremely Asian eyes. It's really strange, as I don't know anyone in my family who was Asian. At all. But I guess that's cool. My aunt-by-marriage is 100% Korean. I love making people think I'm Asian, telling them that she's my biological aunt.

Envelope. It starts with E, end's in E, and only contains one letter. w00t to me. And I got ... monday for the first riddle. I worked backwards. And sorry, I can't contribute any good riddles.

Sign Up Final Fantasy: Quests for the Crystals [M-LVS]
Retribution replied to Redemption's topic in Theater
I'm guessing that there can be more than one player per class. At least I hope so. Anyway, this is great! I hope everyone's dedicated as I am... but that might be a little too dedicated. I'm signing up rather than study for a test next period. Sad, no? -In the Real World- Name: Shinji Yamato Age: 16 Gender: Male Appearance: [ click ] Personality: Shinji isn't a very extreme person, usually not being very social or introvert, calm or hyper. He tends to be more in the middle of the emotional spectrum, sometimes being quiet, other times being loud and funny. But above it all, he is an extremely competitive person, with a slight anger problem. He can be a good sport, and lose, but if he gets shut out or completely obliterated, he becomes angery. The positive to it all is that he works hard at everything, so that he can succeed in nearly everything he trys his hand at. Shinji is sure of himself, but not to the point of arrogance. He also believes in the excellent treatment of women, behaving courteously in front of them. History: Shinji's history isn't much worth telling, but here it is anyway. Growing up, he had two great parents, who loved him greatly, as well as another brother. He did welll is school, and still does to this day. He played a great deal of soccer and chess. Shinji's life isn't really worth recounting, other than the fact that he has always had a hard time getting a girlfriend. All the girls he's liked so far only "want to be friends" or "don't think they're ready for commitment," which hasn't done much to boost his confidence with girls. He loves talking to them, usually doing anything for the girl he loves. All in all, Shinji's very responsible, smart, and athletic, but isn't extremely popular for some reason. His personality didn't allow him to soak up the limelight like a sponge, but rather repel it. This doesn't mean that he doesn't like attention or success. In Ivalice, his personality is the same, but he has more confidence in himself, and has less tolerance for arrogant people. Channeling his anger into the game, he trains long and hard to better himself. Thusly, his magic takes the form of fire, with which he is a gifted prodigy to say the least. With nearly perfect accuracy, and a nearly instantaneous casting time, his fire attacks can send a foe to the grave in instants. He has become a Black mage prodigy, earning him recognition and respect with nearly all who meet him. Art New sketch~ (pg13-ish? Slightly mangled pretty boy)
Retribution replied to GTK's topic in Creative Works
Whoa. I like it. When you said mangled, I thought you meant horridly beaten, bruised, and sent through a meat grinder. Despite the word 'slightly.' Anyway, onto more important matters... I like it because of the way you drew the cut at the mid-section. Gotta love those nasty-looking hanging pieces of flesh and the dangling spine! Very nice touch, if I may say so. The face is also quality, because of his left eye. The way you drew it through the hair looks great. Stitches were also good, arching over his nose and such. But the fireballs are sorta 'meh' looking. Sort of ... sketchy, took 10 seconds each to do, etc. But that's a minor detail, and shouldn't detract from the goodness of this picture. w00t to you. By my non-standard ratings, you get an 8.7/10 -
They look cool, but they're the product of about 4 consecutive filter effects. Tops. The first one looks like a black/purple neon rose, which is cool. The only thing is, it looks like you only used a radial blur, in addition to a few more filters. You could've done without the four stars in the corners, which don't really contribute anything except a hinderance to the focal point of the rose (center of it all). The second one looks cool as well, and is more intricate than the first. But still, it looks like some sort of radial spin/blur to give it that swirl effect. The navy blue/black in spots detracts from the coolness of the sky blue of the rest of it all. I'll give it a 5/10. Don't take this the wrong way, that I'm mean or something. You're on the right track. The trick is to use filters without looking like you used them. :) Stick with it, and you'll be great! How long have you been using photoshop/whatever graphic program?

Keiji heard Ajack yell at him. He decided to screen out his rant, so that he could maintain his sync level, but it dropped to 103%. It was still above the sync barrier, but he was eager to surpass his personal best again. Ajack thought Keiji was killing blindly, letting his emotions prove a hinderance to his combat ability. He was dead wrong. If emotion was used in a battle without expertise and finesse, it would result in a less efficient fight for the emotional warrior. If emotions were channeled into something planned, with an introspective mind, it would do wonders. Amatu kept transmitting data to his head, which Keiji examined at took into account at a monstrous rate. For once, an extremely fine tuned machine was only equal to a human. Part of the data was a notice that Liz was in critical condition, but that she was already being helped. He turned his attention back to the battle. He had more foes to slay. "So, I guess this battle's harder than the last. No matter. I have confidence that if everyone can achieve at least 80% syncrenization, we'll obliterate them." Yes, and you may need to fight even harder than you already are. You have a team-mate down, and another flank to cover. MOVE! Bellowed Amatu at Keiji. He didn't have time to chat. He had to destroy the enemies, whoever they were this time. Be they DinoMechs, or telekinetic aliens. Keiji flew back into the enemy lines, crumpling oncoming mechs like paper. Micro-missiles flew, blowing countless foes into the air. He was consumed by the rhythm of combat, the churning, moshing dance of thes smoke and mire of death, flame, and struggle. He would not fall; that was certain. He continued his steady increase in his kill count, which was escalating by the second with every missile fired, flick of the talon, or swoop of his beak. He felt like a god of war sagas, as he achieved 110% sync, this time pushing Amatu's processor speed, thruster output, and mechanical feed back to unheard of limits, which continued to rise due to his special ability. It was increasingly hard to break a limit, as it kept rising with Keiji's sync levels, so he kept smiting, crushing foes like a magnum to a watermelon. The center was nearly clear, their numbers diminshed, as he continued to cleave to the right and left of his newly blazed path of destruction.

I only have two. Both of which aren't that great. I was about to cross the street at Ocean City, walking to the beach with my mother. There were cars parked all the way down the side walk, so many that if a car were to drive by, I wouldn't be able to hear it because the sound-waves would echo off of the cars. I began to walk across the street, as I could not hear a car driving towards me 40 mph above the speed limit. My mother did, however, and pulled me back by the collar of my shirt, as a car was inches from my nose, zipping by at nearly 60 mph. If I had taken that last step, that would've been the end of it all. Another is that when I was really little, I swallowed something. I can't remember what, but it got lodged in my throat. I couldn't breathe either, so I shook my brother who was three years younger than me, and make the 'Help! I can't breathe!" sign to him. He didn't pick up, and thought I was making a threatening gesture at him. So he punched me with all his might in my stomach. It was enough to dislodge whatever I was choking on, and send it down to my stomach. Scary, huh?

You're banners need that extra something to make them good banners. The ones you make are getting way better, but aren't at the 'wow' level. If that makes any sense. The image quality is fine, but the blending of them is non-existant, which is really too bad. There's no real focal point, or action in this one. The Sub-Zero and Scorpion are just looking at each other. They're doing things independently, but in the context of the banner, they're being lazy. Basically,it's not dynamic, which is bad, especially since Mortal Combat is very lively. The background looks like maybe 10 seconds worth of work... literally. It looks exactly like you rendered some clouds, then applied a filter effect like sketch or something. This is bland, but not terrible. You might want to spruce it up more with extra filtering, as well as cropping the banner overall. It's too large, giving it that empty feeling. And the typography. This wasn't all that great either. The font was uncharacteristic of this fighting, dynamic theme of combat. You should've gone for a more grunge-ish/solid/thick font. Not a skinny, retro-looking one. I have no idea why you put 'SHD' twice... except for the sake of balance. The 'R' in shredda is cut off ... nuff said there. Despite my harsh comments, this banner isn't that bad. I'll give it a 6.9/10

Keiji nodded his head slowly, then followed Sora out into the hangar. He wanted to die, but then felt completely selfish. Why should she love him? And why should he be angry if she loved him as a brother? He realized he was thinking of himself before her, and came back to his senses. He felt Amatu grin, knowing Keiji had learned to clear his mind and find the right answer without emotions clouding him. Once they reached the hangar, Keiji got into Amatu, immediately syncing with him with only a 2% error. He felt great again, but still hungered to prove himself. He recieved orders to fly ahead with Sora and Sayne. He opened a live video feed once he was near them, showing the grround forces what they were up against, then cut it. "Amatu, I'm going to push you to your limit, and past that. You've tested me, now I test you. Ready?" You have no idea what my capabilities are, Keiji. You'll see... He looked, saw Sayne get attacked. There was no more recon. It was war now. The techs had done a great job, outfitting Amatu with hollow tipped micro missles. These would explode in a greater radius, and cause more residual damage. Keiji pushed Amatu to the 90% thruster limit, and saw the land go by faster. He no longer was sitting inside Amatu; he was flying, the wind blowing through his hair, and the pain would be real. He opened fire, letting go of all the pain, anger, sadness, anxiousness and thew his soul into the battle. He went down the middle, smashing all that he saw with his talons, beak, or missiles. Enemies were smitten left and right, as Keiji cleaved into their ranks like a hot chain saw through butter. He gutted their flanks, dismantled their formation, and killed their officers. He cleared out a path through the enemy forces, so large you would think Moses parted the sea again. If anyone looked down that path, they would see a demon. Then it got angrier. "LIMIT BREAK!" The demon screamed. He destroyed all who opposed him. His bestial scream stirred the berserker in him. His fighting increased, and he set upon the left flank. The other MechAnima pilots were in shock, as Keji exceeded the sync barrier of 100%. He was already at 110%, Amatu's systems were operating at 200%, and it never felt better. He was hit once or twice, bullets glancing across his wing tip. He dispatched them to their maker. He did not feel them.

OOC: My post was deleted earlier today. That sucks, because it was good. But alas, here's the same general thing. IC: "Dammit! Why couldn't I be on a guard shift? I'm just as good as any of them, if not better!" Keiji screamed at the indifferent wall in his room. It echoed his angry, sad, emotional voice throughout the room, harking back to his own ears. Amatu yelled at him inside his head. GET THE HELL OVER IT! I know you've been trying to prove yourself, but they didn't need everyone on guard duty. You'll probably get a turn; but in the mean time, stop yelling and screaming like you're a baby! Keiji yelled, and slammed his fist into the metal wall. He screamed in anger, and fell backwards onto his bed. His head swirled with emotion he was trying to express through punching and yelling at the wall. His only love didn't love him back, he was taken from his parents, and on top of it all was a feeling of inadequacy. He decided all he could do was tell Sora he loved her, train like hell, and call his parents. First things first, so they say, and in this case was Sora. So he walked to the common room, and called quietly for Sora. "Hey, could I talk to you Sora?" He said softly. He was a little shy, trying to muster all his courage to admit to her his feelings. To accept bitter defeat, to die a cold death in a few instants. But at least it would slide off his chest, all this dead, emotional weight bogging him down. "Sure, Keiji. Anytime." Keiji gestured for her to sit down at the dinner table. He pulled out a chair for her, and then took one himself. "Um... well Sora, I have a confession to make." Keiji looked at the table, internally grimaced, then took a deep breath. "I've loved you ever since I could remember, and I still do. More than Romeo loved Juliet, I'd die for you, but ... I ..." Keiji choked on his own tears. He wanted to let them go, but willed his body not to cry until he was away from Sora. "I... know you don't feel the same way. I just wanted you to know that... for reasons I can't understand myself. I... love you Sora Avian." Keiji wanted to smile on the outside, act like he was happy, but he kept his expression as a one of sadness. He just couldn't help it. Sora's face was a one of compassion. She probably knew what he was feeling like, mixed up, angry, sad, and whatever else. She took a moment to think of her response, and opened her mouth to respond. Keiji gazed at her eyes, bracing for the blow, knowing she wouldn't return his feelings. But he couldn't blame her. All the guys in the world wanted her, and she could only choose one.

Keiji saw the private walk into the room, telling them they had to go to the meeting. "What a drag... Ah well." Keiji mumbled. He still felt really good after his training and going to something boring like a meeting would be a real bore. He shuffled off down the hall, conversing with Amatu, studying his specs and such from his past training via their constant sync. He arrived in the room with several important-looking people. None of which he knew personally. He took an empty seat in no particular spot, waiting for everyone else to arrive. The other pilots sat around, talking to each other. Keiji kept studying his statistics rather diligently, which was rather uncharacteristic of him. OOC: Sorry for a rather boring, short post. I wanted to get my character in the meeting, so I wouldn't be left behind. I'm at a friend's house about to be snowed in, so it might be like... another day before I even read this thread again.

Keiji stood up from the crouching position he had been in for the past half hour. Sora wasn't responding, and his efforts were fruitless. I wish I knew if she was alright. I'm sure there's got to be something wrong other than her arm, or she wouldn't be this distraught. Man... Keiji developed a concerned frown. Yes, there's something wrong. I'm sure she heard you, so leave her alone. She probably doesn't want to talk to you now anyway. Keiji silently nodded, and decided to go back to check on Amatu. He opened the doors to the hangar, and took a look around. "Holy ... Shit!" He exclaimed upon the sight of Qestrii being in terrible condition. "Is Qes alright?" Keiji called from afar. He broke into a run across the hangar, and made it to Dale. "No... Qes isn't alright. I'm doing the repairs to the generator." "Do you need any help or anything? I mean... I've gotta be of some use to you." "No thank you. I'll manage." Keiji was worried about Dale's response. Clearly Qes was in terrible condition, and Dale needed all the help he could get. But he didn't want it. Again, he didn't feel like encroaching on his choice, so he jogged over to Amatu. "Hey Amatu. How're you?" "In wonderful health, thank you." Keiji walked around him looking Amatu over from talon to beak. He was in very good shape, just like he had said. There were a few scratches, ones that the techs could easily fix. There was no internal or system damage. "You're tough, man. I appriciate that." "No problem." Amatu's systems went back to battle analyzation. Every action of him and his team was being strenuously analyzed. He was slowly formulating an efficient combat strategy that could incorperate all their strenghts, and compensate for their weaknesses. Not only skill but personality and emotion were also thrown in the generator. "I know you're busy and all, but would you like to go train? I want to be the best out of all the MechAnimas. No one really notices me. People don't rag on me, and call me names, but everyone drools over Sayne. Maybe I'm greedy for attention, but I want people to regard me more that just some kid in a MechAnima. You with me?" "Yes, but not for the same reasons. I want you to get better, and it will give me better data to analyze. Hop it." Keiji stepped under the shaft where Amatu sucked him up. He landed in his piloting seat, where he buckled up. All the pre-flight checks had been performed. "There will be no need for use of real weapons. You can simulate them on the computer." "Will do." Amatu took off into the sky, flying over the by-gone battlefield; a place where blood had been spilled not even an hour ago. He bowed his head and closed his eyes for a few moments as a sign of respect to all the civilians killed. Then Keiji lifted his head. "Simulation engage." Amatu quickly pumped the information for the training session. Today would be work on reflexes and becoming synced with Amatu as fast and efficiently as possible. Keiji confirmed, and the simulation started in a matter of miliseconds. "Very good. You processed all that information, and sent me a response swiftly. You've done well so far." Keiji realized that eveything in a training session would be training. Even conversation or instructions. He had to be extremely concentrated. "Now, you will fly full speed at the skyscraper, then avoid it at the last possible second. If you wait too long, I'll engage auto-pilot at the last possible second 'til eminent impact. Go." Keiji gritted his teeth, hitting his thruster output to the red line, and further still. He hit the output limit, and kept it at that, lest his thrusters be permanently damaged. Amatu flew in a straight line, with the skyscraper coming closer, and closer still, feeling Keiji's concentration. 30 feet. 20 feet. 10 feet. 6 feet. That was the last possible point where Keiji could change directions. And he did, right at he 6 foot mark. He thought for sure he would die, flying full speed into a skyscraper, with 6 feet between him and the building. But he had no time to entertain such thoughts. Those meant failure in this situation. Or death in real combat. He hit every apogee motor on Amatu to thrust to his right, so that he may avoid the skyscraper. Every system was pushed to its brink to push him past the metal pillar standing in his way. He past it, and immediately brought down the speed significantly, hitting all system coolants. "Excellent! You broke the world's speed barrier, as well as completed the task without my help. If you had waited but an inch later, I would've had to take over and save you. But you didn't need my help. Well done." "..." Keiji was panting from the stress of such a situation. The gees of acceleration did not act upon his body completely due to a G-Nullifier which was embedded in his cockpit. "Thank you..." "But praise is temporary. Onto the next test. Syncing." Amatu once again transmitted him an enormous stream of data. Keiji was accustomed to the feeling of numbers and letters rushing through his head, and he could understand them all at once. They said that they were going to fly into the lower Stratosphere (Note: Stratosphere is the lowest layer of the atmosphere), then dive-bomb at the ground. The objective was to sync before crashing and dying when hitting the ground. This time, Amatu wasn't going to save Keiji, or so he told him. Amatu only wanted for there to be more reason to succeed. Life or death was a wonderful incentive. "Let's do this shit!" Keiji said partially out of adrenaline rush. He commanded Amatu to go to the Stratosphere, then they quickly dive-bombed. They decended at a surprising rate. Again, he pushed the systems rather hard, but not as hard as before. Speed wasn't a deciding factor here, only unity. Keiji forced the residual thoughts of anger, regret, lonliness, happiness, joy, or hunger out of his mind. Those would only hinder him. Emotions clouded your mind, which he desperately needed for this. He felt his soul exit his body, and move into the generator of his MechAnima. It was a rather strange feeling to describe. The closest thing to put to words is that he felt liberated, free, and invincible. Well, he actually felt like God. Without fear, regret, or hesitation. He was pure, perfectly synced with Amatu. He didn't use any controlls, or even his thoughts to change Amatu's trajectory. That was because he essentially was Amatu for a short while. For only about one minute, he had achieved perfect sync with his MechAnima. Severing the connection felt painful. Not in the physical sense, but in the emotional plane. It was like crashing down from an incredible high on a drug. He was going from God to mortal, what worse feeling was there? He brought Amatu back into the hangar, where Dale was still, and landed. "Very good! You've synced with me perfectly... something none of your colleages have achieved yet. They've synced with their MechAnimas at around the 87% mark. You've done the unthinkable, going into the 99% sync ratings." "Yes... thank you." Keiji was extremely happy, and smiled, but he could only sit down. His legs felt a little too wobbly to stand up anymore.. Then he couldn't support his back so he layed down on the flat floor. He knew it was the emotional let down he had experienced. "I know, it's because you were so synced, you feel sick to return to your imperfect human body. But that's alright. Since you seem so surprisingly gifted, I'm sure we can always be in around 40% sync, even when you're not near me. That way you don't feel sickly all the time. He felt some of Amatu and his spirit combine, going into Amatu. It felt like he was normal again, maybe more cheery than usual. Dale looked across the cavernous hangar, in partial disbelief. Keiji could only suppose that he was watching his training, and saw two suicide attempts or something. When he thought about it, it would seem extremely strange seeing someone pull away from two consecutive suicide attempts. But he didn't feel like explaining to Dale. In the back of his mind, Keiji wondered if anyone else had seen it, and knew what was going on. Keiji walked down the hall, slowly, smiling lightly and looking around the hall. He felt more observant than usual. Amatu came into the back of his mind again, telling him that his happiness was only temporary, and he would return to his regular self soon. Keiji was partially thankful. He didn't want people thinking he was some mood-swinging guy or anything. He walked back into the common room, and plopped down on the couch, watching TV. His training had also left his body and mind slightly fatigued.
-
Keiji got out of Amatu, and went to the sickbay. He had a few bruises and a burn on his left shin. The medics didn't and couldn't do much for his wounds, exept give him some Hydrogren Peroxide to stop infection and some IcyHot. But Keiji was content. He walked into the common room, and saw Sora quickly walking into her room, holding her arm; presumabling from the pain. "Hey! Sora! You're hurt, you can't just let yourself bleed..." He walked after her, wanting that she bandange herself... at least respond to him. The doors shut in his face. He didn't have a pass code or anything to the girls room, so he just sat and but his back against the wall next to her door. "Sora. You really should get some medical attention. It could get infected or something. Who knows, it could be more serious that just a flesh wound. He still didn't get an answer, but the main door opened, with a few more of the pilots coming in.

I can't really tell what's happening in either. Things are rather choppy and aren't moving smoothly or slowly enough. I see a few flashes of image, then it's ended. The tennis one is a little better. I can see a ball being hit hard at a girl, and some guy goes to save her. The Naruto one, I see someone punching the heck out of another person. But I can't see who this person is punching. Sorry. Try to add in more frames or something to make it go smoother.

As he went through school, he realized that being an Astronaut would be sort of cool, but not quite as good as being a Veritech pilot. Throughout school, he has studied Aeronautics, Aerospace Engineering, Piloting, Space Physics, and Strategy tirelessly. His instructors knew he was good in the piloting sims, but not as good as he was in the combat simulator. He displayed a strange knack for adapting to new situations, as well as creating new strategies and plans on the fly. Aside from that, his reflexes were surprisingly high, rating him in the top 99th percentile. His instructors never lightened up on him, and kept his nose in the books and in the simulator. After hitting the books hard in the training Academy, he finally got to pilot a Veritech fighter on a training mission. His instructors at the Academy expected brilliance, but his piloting skill had finally surpassed many of his superior officers. Shinji never realized that, so he doesn't brag about his piloting skill. People tell him he's good, but not that he's better than his ranking officers. These are essentially two very small pods that jetisson from his arms. They can fire a PHALANX vulcan, at twice the average rate of his mecha. They have a means of propulsion, able to move very agilely and have uplinked cameras with live feed to his cockpit. - 2x Custom beam katanas, high strength. - 2x Head vulcans, twin fire linked. - 1x Beam Rifle Standard Issue Appearance: Amatu A picture of his torso, arm and head, as well as a side shot of the legs. Amatu's slender physique, high thruster output, and high agility ratings make him the cream of the crop as far as close range fighting goes. The pilot further increases Amatu's potency on the battle-field.

Yeah, these are simple/plain in a bad way. The font isn't really good enough to have it stand alone, and on top of that, it's hard to read. Things are too rectangular/boring in this one. But I liked the border and the pattern of squares on the first banner.

I don't understand why the starter of the topic can't change the title of the thread. I mean, it would save Arcadia some work of going through, locking threads, kicking butt and taking names. But yeah, it is a good way to reinforce the rules by cracking down.

I don't think humans are inherintly good or evil. Some philsopher said that there are two extremes to operate on. Those being absolute love, and absolute hate. He/she said that humans can't operate on the level of absolute love as a whole, nor absolute hate. We tend towards the middle of the spectrum. Justice. While I don't think that the middle between love and hate is justice, it is the same principle. Humans as a whole aren't completely good or completely evil. We tend to go more toward the middle. Personally, I think we tend towards the good half, but ever-so-slightly.

I like it generally, just a few things you might want to revise. - The sparkles: I understand what you're trying to do with the whole "Light Within" thing and the sparkles, but these don't work. They just get annoying. You might want to take them all out, then use a spot-light lighting effect, getting brighter as the picture goes along, until you encounter the words "The Light Within." - Text: The typography is rather ineffective for what you're trying to say. The font isn't very good, because it's too small. The words are also isolated from the rest of the work. Sometimes pixel fonts aren't the greatest for abstract banners. Maybe move "Shredaa" underneath "The Light Within" so people don't have to play hide-and-go-seek with the text. ^.^ So you've done a good job, but there are my two recommendations.

"Sayne, what the fuck are you doing?" Keiji easily evaded his Special Ability move, but it was extremely stupid. He was taking out alot of enemies; nearly as many as Keiji had with his micro-missiles barrage, but he was also endangering his friends. Sayne was just being plain reckless. He didn't realize the power his MechAnima possessed, and as a result, he was blowing up skyscrapers, nearly hitting his own team mates, and consumed in his own bloodlust. "What the hell is he trying to do?" Keiji knew that a consuming rage only blinded you, hindering your ability to fight, no matter if you were a berserker or not. Harnessing anger, then stilling yourself, preparing for battle, was the productive way of using pent-up emotion. He obviously didn't know that. He also saw the rest of the pilots become synced with either MechAnimas. "It's about time they got in sync with them." Keiji had already performed that move earlier, taking out waves upon waves of Cylarges. Keiji opened a COM Link to Dale. >>Dale, you need to use your EMP Cannon. There's no way we can hold them. Ajack's injured, Sora's fighting alone, Sayne is in a complete fit of rage. He's endangering the mission. The base is now being fired upon... it's a sitting duck. Tell everyone to clear out of your blast radius. It's the only way. Keiji cut the transmission, and laid down cover fire. He then opened a transmission to everyone. >>Keiji here, Dale's about to EMP the area. Move out of his blast radius now! I repeat, move out of his blast radius now! We can't hold them like we are now. They're firing upon the base now. It's the only way. Keiji, out. He cut the transmission to everyone once again. He opened another transmission to Sayne. >>Sayne, have you lost it? You're going to get us all killed! A berserker is the last thing we need. We need to operate as a team; an efficent unit, not some blood-lust fit! Snap the fuck out of it... He wasn't listening. >>SNAP OUT OF IT! YOU'LL COMPROMISE THE MISSION! Keiji had to get through to him. Dale was already in his position, waiting for others to move out of the radius. It was only a few more moments before he hit the EMP... OOC: Yeah, I'm ready for this battle to end.

Thank you! Yeah, I rate people's stuff weird with 8.3 and 7.6 all around the place. So thank you for my 7.4 / 10. It's more than I hoped for on these tired little sketches of mine.
