I drew all this stick warfare with crudely drawn swords in Sacred Scripture class. I have to take it, since I go to a Catholic school, but meh. It's beyond boring... so I draw. Besides, I ace the class because I'm only re-learning material. Stickbattle 1 A quality, cliche stick battle. Keiji wasn't mad at Sora, but rather angry at the whole situation he was in. Everyone else seemed so grief-stricken frrom losing their parents. He wanted to let go of the guilt he felt, he knew he didn't deserve it. But he couldn't. \\[COM Link Established]//[To: Sora] || >>Sora, I'm really sorry about sounding mad at you. I just feel so guilty... everyone's lost a loved one or something, and here I am, my whole family is unscathed. >>I'm no better than anybody else here, so why should I be the one without the pain, the burden of knowing I'm the last one in my family alive. >>Good luck on the mission at hand. And make sure you don't over extend yourself; Sayne and I have the front lines. Out. [Transmission End] || Keiji flew up along side of Sayne, ready to engage the enemy ranks. His mission was to thin out their lines before they got to the other MechAnimas. So that's what he was going to do, with whole-hearted determination. "Amatu, Limit Break!" All the computers went past green, and into the blue range of processor speed. All his reflexes, thoughts, and capabilities were doubled, and it felt great. "Fire!" He let 500 missiles fly into the ranks of the oncoming assault. Keiji could only guess that more than 500 had died in that barrage, though. Micro-missiles could explode, and damage things in the immediate area. "Screw this. Let'em all go!" He fired nearly all his micro-missles he had. He saved only 200 in reserve. The micro-missiles took out an entire wave of the enemy craft, and his comrades were pouring in long-distance support, with whatever long-range ordinance they had. \\[COM Link Established]//[To: Dale] || >>Hey, it's Keiji. If they make it too close to the base, as a last resort use your EMP Cannon. And make sure no other MechAnima is in the area, lest it be disabled for the rest of the fight. Good luck to you. [Transmission End] || Keiji decided to engage the aerial foes in combat. He ignited his beam-talons, flying into the middle of the enemy mob. He was moving so fast, the Cylarges got ripped apart in an instant if they even were to touch his shockwave, coming in behind him. He gutted foes, anything that he saw was destroyed an instant later. There was no stopping him.

Warm inside, huh? Okay. And I'm glad the presents came about. It was a great idea. Anyway, you might want to post in it again to keep the thing going. It was very close to death, indeed.

(Flashback to last night) Keiji was sick and tired of watching people mill about in the common room. Vick was too arrogant to speak to after losing, so he was out. Dale was cool, but Keiji opted not to talk to him either. He just needed to get out. "I'm going outside, like everyone else seems to be doing." He went out the door, let it slide down behind him with surprising speed. He walked all the way out, sneaking past the security guards. They wouldn't let him go out; not at this hour. Maybe he'd stop by Amatu. Far-off sobs made their way to Keiji's ear. The sound came from somewhere in the darkness, behind the building, so he decided to turn the corner, but ever-so-cautiously. He poked his head around the corner, to see who it would be. But it was too dark to really tell. It was a girl, and she wasn't wearing a military uniform. He didn't remember who was outside the room, so he decided to check who it was. "Hello?" Keiji tested the waters. "... Yes? Do you want something?" The voice sounded like Liz, and she wasn't happy, to say the least. "It's me, Keiji. Is that you, Elizabeth? I hear you crying when I came outside. Is something the matter?" "You... you have no idea. I'd rather not talk of it." Liz sniffed, but Keiji couldn't see her facial expression in the dark of night. Something told him he didn't really want to either. "I'm sorry things are hard for you. I guess I don't know how anyone feels. I didn't lose any family members in the attacks, and it makes me feel guilty. As much as I don't want them to die, it feels like I cheated you all or something. My parents weren't the stereo-typical 'don't care about you rich parents.' They care about me." "My father cares about me too. I know that... it's just..." She stopped in midsentence, obviously trying to find the right words. "You don't need to tell me. I'm sure you don't even want to. I guess you came out here to be alone, so I won't invade that or anything. But I'm sure that me or the other pilots are completely willing to listen to you. We're like family now. Later." Keiji walked away, feeling even more guilty that he felt completely fine; not losing parents or his home or his other loved ones. He felt like he should feel sad like everyone else. "But I'm not. I'm not guilty. I don't need to feel pain." He said outloud, to stabilize himself. The cool night-air made him go back inside, just as quickly as he went out. He went back into the common-room, seeing everyone was just as lively as he left. "Where were you, Keiji?" Dale asked. "Just outside walking around. Nothing much." (End Flashback)

Really, chill out. I see 12 year-old girls wearing the playboy bunny on a necklace, and wearing a play-boy bunny shirt. People State-side do this stuff too. This doesn't mean that these young 12 year-old girls are exposed to porno and whatnot (maybe they are... ::shrug::). I don't think it's that disturbing. The kid might not even know what Playboy is, and just like the bunny rabbit symbol. I know I do. ^______^

Well, I wish I guess I could edit it to do that, but I wasn't really worrying about that. I guess I could stretch it maybe 1% more. It's not a wave. It's a { sign thingy at 500pt font. What I did by including the brace is to basically say "This is what this photo's emotion is" without tediously typing it out. Besides, I threw the words inside of it to do that instead. I'm grateful that people liked the way the text was added. I didn't want to put anything in that no-mans-land, forbidden white space. But it was perfect for the word 'imagine.' I was worried that people wouldn't be able to read the text on the brace, but realized later that the emotion here isn't something clean and tidy or complete. It's a jumbled cocktail of feelings, which is what I tried to go for. Thank you very much for your feedback. -
OOC: 0500 hours is 5 o'clock in the morning. Is that really when the meeting is supposed to be? IC: "Yeah, see ya Dale." Dale was extremely brave and intellegent, realizing they could take the mothership out of commision with his EMP. It was just that he didn't think that Sora was within the blast radius, and he wouldn't have a way to save himself. Keiji had fixed all that, but felt rather guilty still for acting like Sora wasn't equal to him. He tried to console himself with the fact that if he hadn't gotten Sora out of the way, she would be dead, and Dale would need saving, aboard a plummeting mothership. But that wasn't enough. Keiji finished his food quickly, and left the table. He didn't really feel like talking to anyone. Darrius had played a really great pool game, but some of the pilots were really quiet. Liz and Sayne were prime examples. They never really spoke up at all. Some of them were talking about what kinds of things they liked, and what background they all came from. Sora really does like Sayne. Look! She saved him a seat next to her. This sucks. Yeah, but don't hold it against either one of them. You need to be completely unified as a team. There should be no divisions creeping in from something like ... love Amatu punctuated the word with disdain. Keiji got up from the table, and milled about in the common room. He didn't really want to barge into anyone's video game, nor did he want to talk to the people at the table. So he decided to flop onto a gigantic plush bag. It was easily four feet in diameter, and very cushy, which took the shape of his body. It was perfect, as it was in the corner, where he could watch everyone else from a distance, see how they reacted with everyone else. Usually Keiji was a social guy, but he felt himself wanting to seclude himself from the world for a time. But being in his room wasn't all that great. So for now, he sat in this huge bean-bag, trying his best to relax. (In the morning, 0420 hours) Keiji had gone to bed in a timely manner, rather rested at even 4:30 in the morning. He brushed his teeth, combed his hair, and was the first out in the common room, ate some breakfast, and sat down in the plushy-bean bag. He had moved its position to sit ontop on the couch, providing extra comfort, where he sat down to play videogames on the play station 2.

Well, I think it looked better on your deviant art, maybe better picture quality? In any event, I think the black and white represents the seriousness of the moment. Your expression is perfect for such a shot. I'm feeling anger/sadness? But more sadness than anger. And I lub how your right eye is completely black/dark. Was that intentional? This is definetly a very powerful shot. Keep it up! 9/10

Alright! I'd be happy to collaborate on another work sometime. I just didn't want to keep on asking you, for fear of being annoying. Just gimme a holler when you want to do something with me, be it editing a photo .. well, anything I guess. -
The 90's? I grew up in the 90's. So basically my grades, behavior, and life in general are all by-products and manifestations of the 90's. And I began writing in the 90's. It's when I discovered my talent: Writing, my interest: Space, and all the branches of science fiction I could get my hands on. The 90's rawkd. Most of my life (so far) was in the 90s. But I was born in 89.

OOC: Where'd the presents come from? Oh well, it's a nice touch. IC: "I'm glad you liked it!" Keiji smiled, completely happy that his present had pleased Ayame. "Could you put it on?" "Oh, sure!" She slipped it on looking blissfully innocent, reveling in perfection of the present. She quickly spotted a charm with a boy and a girl holding hands, and looked at Keiji, not knowing whether to be even happier, or a little more cautious. "And finally, dinner's here!" Everyone got a silver platter with the cover over it, making Keiji feel particularly happy. Dammit, I'm getting out of here. It's too boring! As soon as you lay eyes on Risa, I'm breaking the seal. You hear? But... not now... things are perfect. Ayame, I mean. Don't screw me up. Please! No can do. Just don't look at her, I guess Keiji felt extremely saddened that he'd be overtaken by Quicksilver. A nearly-perfect evening ruined by his alter-ego. He lost his smile, looking at Ayame with somewhat sad eyes. "Things were almost perfect Ayame. But now look at me, ... getting sick or something." Keiji hadn't yet started his transformation; he needed to see Risa first. Until then, he had a feeling of lurking dread Quicksilver would ruin the night.

Holy Punctuation, Ziopheth! Naw, but really, it would've been alot easier to read your dream with a few more paragraphs in there. Anyway... I have rather violent dreams, but sometimes they're peaceful. I'll post an example of each. Violent: I can't remeber much from this one, except I was fighting this other dude. I punched him into a sheet of glass, and jumped down from the skyscraper to attack him in midair. All the shards of glass where falling all around us, as we fought to the death in midair. Then somehow I landed on top of his body. He was dead, whoever this person was. I had a broken wrist. Hm... Another one began with a knock at my door. I was only 6 or so, and my little brother was 4. *knock knock knock* David (younger brother): I got it!
(He opens the door, shotgun blast blows him away. Blood goes everywhere against the light violet walls in my house.)
Me: Ah!! David!!! (to mother, who's in another room) There's a robber in the house, and he shot David, mommy! Help! My mom doesn't say anything, but gets a sorrowful, angry, hateful expression. I can't explain it. Just think if your son got killed by a robber. That's how she felt. A gatling gun/chaingun/minigun somehow phases onto her arm (Megaman style). She walks up to the robber, aims the gun at his body, and
blows the life out of him. She sobs violently as she continues to riddle his body and face with bulllets
Me: (sobbing) Mommy... he's dead... stop... My mother keeps crying, continutes firing. Things fade to black. Peaceful: Me and my crush are walking down an endless, completely white hall (Think Matrix's Construct program). We're holding hands, and never stop walking and smiling. Another is I'm in space, floating without a space-suit but very much alive. I'm not cold from the vacuum. And I gaze at the stars, completely stunned at their beauty in zero-g. I cry a tear drop, which doesn't freeze, but goes in a perfect sphere. All I can remember after that is thinking Perfection... this is what it is... Hmm... I have more coming later. Peace.

OOC: Well, I guess I'll describe the living quarters, since Heero I don't think you edited the post or whatever. I can change how it looks if you need me to, Heero/Amgoddess. I'm bored, so I'll make an image describing what I mean. It's attached. And Ohkami, it's hard to include your character in posts, mainly because you haven't used her much yourself. Just try to post at least once every two days. Anything longer than that, it it's a drag to read all the replies. The short post is because of my tiredness and lack of things to say. IC: Keiji finally got there. He immediately plopped down into the cushioned, comfy counch, and turned on the TV to Comedy Central. He needed comic relief after that mind-racking fight. "Why am I here? Can't I just leave or something? I ... I have a life to live. And the military is just taking me as a hostage. Dammit." Sakura stumbled through the airlock-door, weakly crying, and going into the girl's area. "So everyone's folks are dead? That sucks... my father and mother were out of town on a business trip. The rest probably were evacuated by the body guards. But somehow, I feel guilty. Sora and Sakura are feeling like absolute crap. Why shouldn't I?" He was answered by Sakura's loud, long sob echoing through the door of to the girl's common room. This wasn't making him feel any better. Keiji stared at the screen, with a rather dejected look painted on his face.

I think I act my age, maybe a little older. But this is an unfair comparison to things. Because a few years older than what I am now is still an immature senior in high school. I act my age as far as having fun and my social life goes, but when it comes to responsibility and time-management, I would consider myself to be around 25. But who's to say most 25 year olds are effective time managers?

Do you consider yourself a pacifist or a warrior?
Retribution replied to elfpirate's topic in General Discussion
I'm not sure... an interesting mix of both for me. I'm a warrior when I think I can win; be it an argument or a fight. So if and when I'm fighting you, I think I can win. I don't take authority over myself very well, either. I'm usually the leader or second in command, but never lower than that. I guess being the oldest of all these brothers makes you power-hungry. And I will fight for my pride. That's another by-product of older-brotherdom. I'm a pacifist when the argument is just stupid. I don't feel like getting all worked up over something petty. I also will decline to fight when I think I will definetly lose the battle. I have a violent way of thinking, but a peaceful way of action. Very strange. -
I decided to play around with text in an image on friday night. The result was the 'Poetic Art' thread. I wanted to take it a little bit further, using real pictures to convey a very real emotion. So, what better photo to use than Gravity? None. So I used it, then asked Juu later, which she approved. I thought I'd post it here to show you all. It's too large to be an attachment. I like how you expressed your feelings about your (I'm assuming) girlfriend leaving you, and how if she does, you'll be devistated. But sometimes, this one gets a little tired in parts. When you keep on beating around the bush about how you feel. I could predict what the rest of the writing was going to be after the first paragraph. And I understand how you feel; with your girlfriend changing and growing apart from you. And you don't want her to get too far away, or you'll be destroyed. Good job, I likes... 8.3/10

OOC: I'm going to go to the living quarters. Could amgoddess or Heero Darkangel explain what they look like? IC: Amatu thrusted into the base, then at the last moment before impact with a wall, with all possible reverse thrusters and stopped. A tube coming out of Amatu shot him out of the cockpit, landing on the ground in a cat-like crough. He stood, then walked in a circle around his MechAnima, surveying the damage. All he could see was minor scratches and a laser-penetrated left wing. He did a system diagnostic, revealing that the left wing was the only thing damaged, so he set off to repair it. He didn't know much about machinery, so he called a few MechAnima techs to wax Amatu and mend the tear in the wing. "Amatu, do not hurt these people. They are coming to help." I wasn't going to, because I have a harmonious pilot. "Well thank you. See you later." Keiji wanted to see what the living quarters looked like, so he set off in the direction at which he was instructed they would be. He was on the right track, but heard someone gently crying, and decided to check it out. It was Sora. Keiji froze, trying to decide what to do. Should he talk to her and try to console her, or just let her have her quiet time? Keiji decided to talk to her, and walked over to her. She stopped crying when he got to her, but she still had tears on her cheeks. "Um... Sora, sorry for belittling you in the battle. Well, I threw you out of the way of the EMP Cannon because I thought it would've hit you, and if that happened, you would've free-falled and died... sorry about it all." Keiji looked down at the ground, deciding he said what he needed to say. "Thank you, Keiji." That was all she said. Then she gave him the 'go away' look, which Keiji listened to. He turned and walked into the living quarters.

+ Transmission Established\\[To Dale] || Keiji had to tell him... he just had to! >>Dale, don't hit the EMP while our MechAnimas are in the blast radius! It'll take us out of || >>commision! I repeat, do not detonate the EMP Cannon while Sora is in the radius! || +Transmission Recieved\\ [From Dale] || -- Low Quality >> B....s........a..get ou.t...!.....|| (static) +Transmission End\\ || "No! Sora will be taken out!" Amatu hit the acceleration past the burn out limit, into the red zone, with 'Thruster Overheat!' warnings all over his cockpit. He only had to set his thrusters to burn for another millisecond. Then he cut the engines, made a down-ward freefall directly at the ship, like a dive-bombing peregrin falcon. "Sora! I'm coming!" Keiji's mech grabbed Blaze, yanking it downward at surprising speed. Then the EMP detonated. Keiji threw Blaze down -- away from the EMP blast. You complete idiot! Our beam-talons have sustained damage from the EMP, and now we can't use them! All because you wanted to be a fucking hero. Get yourself together. "No time to talk! Dale can't fly, and he's several hundred feet off the ground." Keiji doubled back, diving once again from above the quickly descending mother-ship, dropping like a rock. He hit his thrusters, picked up Dale, then strafed to the right of the falling air-craft carrier. "The impact area will sustain less damage if I ... blow it up!" Keiji let several hundred his micro-missles go at the mother ship, fragmenting it into three sections. One was huge, the other two would only cause minimal damage. He let go several hundred more micro-missles into the large chuck, cracking it into two medium-size pieces, then all of the damaged sections of the mother-ship crashed down with shocking force. It landed in the middle of the invader's rankings, significantly decreasing their numbers. They all also hesitated the forward march -- their command ship had been taken out. Keiji, remembering he still carried Dale, put him on the ground. + Transmission Established\\ [To Dale] || >>Great job up there! You single handedly took out the mother ship! || >>Let's repel the rest of these guys. || + Transmission Ended\\ ||

Keiji quickly moved to Sora's flank to make sure she didn't get taken out in the first few moments of battle. He knew tactics, and he knew she had left herself open for a serious blow. Not that they could land one on her. He let loose hundres of micro-missles into their airborne ranks, clearning away the ones Sora hadn't gotten to yet. After several volleys of micro-missles had thinned out their air-units, Keiji moved in, and out of the thick cluster of space craft, gutting all that was in his way with extremely strong talons, pin-point prescision, and lightening speed. Several lasers lanced out at Sora, too many to dodge. She got out of the way of most of them, but several more were coming in from behind her. His psyco-link made his course of action the first one he thought of: Jumping in the way of the blow. Amatu did not question it: his subconcious had overridden Amatu's judgement. Amatu threw himself with all the speed he could muster, which was alot, into Blaze's side. He made it just in time -- Blaze was only nicked by a laser-beam. Amatu was hit on his left wing, which made him lose altitude immediately, but he recompensated. "Oh my god, Amatu are you alright!?!" Remain calm. I am a machine, I do not feel pain, however, if a laser were to hit you, the body part would be immediately melted. "You're right..." Keiji was thankful Sora didn't get hit with the laser. But Keiji, she's bound to get hurt sometime in combat. You have to stop being protective; this is the battlefield. Once again, Amatu had spoken sense. Keiji silently protested, but eventually came to grips with the fact. My beloved? Fighting in a war... dying in a battle where I could've saved her? He tried to shake the thought, remembering that his emotion only clouded his ability to pilot. He opened up with a new wave of micro-missles, skewering three or four at a time with the laser-talons, and ripping apart the space-craft with it's beak. Amatu was a torrent of destruction, and all that came near it were decimated, no questions asked. The only thing close to it and not being fired upon was Sora, as well as Sayne, who happened to come in and out of his firing range.

-Lone toddler crying in a shopping mall: If their parents weren't around, I would call Information, and ask them to page the parents. Really not much to this one. -First person at the scene of a car accident: I would check to see if they were alright. If they weren't I'd call 911 with my celly. If they weren't incapacitated, I'd call a tow-truck to get the car off the road. -Person drowning: Scream for someone else to help them. If there was truly no-one else around, I would take off my shoes and other clothing so that I could swim faster to save them. I'm not really a strong swimmer, so all that weight would only bog me down. -Obviously upset person running down the street: Let them go. If they were attacking people or something, I'd call the cops on that sorry case so fast... Moving on... -Injured animal: Probably just feel sorry for it, see if someone would help. If not, call someone. It really depends on the animal. If it were a cat or a dog, I'd try to help it... but if it were a bird, I might keep going. This one, I don't know. I suppose I'd try to help it as best I could.

It's alright. I guess it's too busy for my liking. On the left side, there's this clean blue and white scheme going on. But as I move to the right, I encounter this guy standing there, who's colors clash with the previous blue and white, and once I get past him, there's black, orange, and red. The color change is too drastic, and the colors aren't remotely clost to one another. The text in the upper left is hard to read, and the sound-wave is rather choppy.
-
I like it alot, but I have one problem with it. It doesn't balance itself out. One side is this dynamic picture on a great background, but the otherside doesn't fit too well with it all. The text is good, and so the insignia, but things looks a little skimpy over there. Maybe you don't understand what I mean. Me likes!
