1. I wish I had a box set. Mainly the Gundam Zeta one. I heard it was really awesome, but I looked at it in the store. $104.99. At that point, I laughed to keep from crying. My boxset was far, far out of my reach. I have that kind of money, but my parents don't like me spending it on manga, let alone on a boxset. *sigh* Another day.... another day...
2. You know, I wish I could post something here, although I'm not a lady, so I don't really know what they look for. I think even if guys have information they got first hand from a girl about what they look for in us dudes, you should post it. It'll open up more discussion.

Final Fantasy

Yes. There is a show called "Final Fantasy Unlimited." I believe it's only "On Demand," aka not basic cable. Besides, couldn't you have just looked this up on google?
4. A Spam area would only deteriorate the quality of Otaku Boards. The moderators and many other OBers have worked really hard to keep OB a quality place, a place (relatively) free of topics like: do u thik kagome is hott?! i do. she is hot. she should b wit inuyasha!11!1!11one! And aside from that, a spam area has no real use, except take up space and rot away the boards. I'm sure other people will explain what I mean in greater detail, but for now, just know that it will never happen.
5. Whoa. That was awesome. I like how you make the story seem interesting, like you want to keep reading. The alarm-clock thing was a little strange, but all of it was great, considering his dream was about not know what to do, being out of control, etc. Good job, and keep writing.
6. I read Sinfest. But not actively. I found about it last summer, when I saw this hilarious comic strip. I checked it's source, and it was sinfest.com/blahblahblah.jpg ... so I went to Sinfest, only to find the most hilarious comics on the planet. I wish they had Boondocks online. That would be beyond awesome.
7. 1st Wish: To be the richest dude in the world. 2nd Wish: World Peace 3rd Wish: Unlimited wishes My other wishes would be stuff like: iPod New Laptop Final Fantasy XI All the manga I can read. No need for school. End to hunger... all that other nice jazz.
8. The pokemon (whoever they are) are really good. I guess ripping them isn't as hard as designing them youself. I don't like the trainer as much, though. When you recolored him, you didn't leave the shading intact, making his legs look like sticks, and giving him a less 2.5-d look, and a more 2-d look. If that made any sense.
9. I like it alot so far, but I think you were trying too hard to make Morpheus sound mysterious. For instance: [[We are everything, we are anything you want us to be]] -- What the heck does that mean? The rest of the conversation makes sense, since I've seen the Matrix. Morpheus and the other freedom-fighters aren't everything or anything. They're just people with the knowledge that the rest of humanity is in bondage, and they have the drive to fight the system. I would suggest rewriting this line, and make it tie into what will happen later. Similar to what happened in the movie. [[You?ll know where]] was also one of those over-mysterious lines, and I hope you clear it up later. "Follow the white rabbit," was a good one. And Neo (not anything that important)
followed the druggies to the club, because one of them had a white rabbit on their shoulder.
Onward with the anaylsis... ...still drifting into Never-land. That was an awesome line. Although Never-land was Peter-Pan, it's a very, very good allusion to what Morpheus says to Neo while they are stilling in the broken-down hotel. Morpheus also (as you know) compared many things to Alice in Wonderland, such as "You must feel like Alice, tumbling down the rabbit hole" or "Do you really want to know how far down the rabbit hole goes?" There's more, which I won't bother with. But that line hit the nail on the head, completely setting in the Matrix-esque feel for me. Awesomenessness. Keep writing. I like it thus far. Now I have to write a Matrix essay for school. *sigh*
10. OOC: Dang! Could you guys stop posting so much? It's hard to keep up on the action. Maybe a post limit of like once a day or something? And upon closer inspection of the previous posts, first I was with Ayame talking to her on a bench, then I teleported to Shuuya's room, talking to him. I'll fix everything I suppose. Anyway, onwards! ---- Keiji looked around inside the room. Shuichi was just as confused at what had just happened. Shuuya looked like he was having an internal arguement, and walked quickly out of the room in the middle of the conversation. "I don't think he's coming back, man." Shuichi said with a rather worried tone. "I don't think so either. He's going to be in the bathroom for a while" "Yeah, you're right, Keiji. Let's leave'm alone. We can all talk about the days events tonight." "I hope so. Anyway, I'm going back out. See ya later." Keiji exited the cabin, and went back on deck, looking for someone to talk to about something... anything. The trip was slightly boring so far. Maybe socialization could change that. Keiji smiled lightly, pleased that someone wanted to talk to him. "Thank you for asking, Ayame. I hope to make friends with everyone, and draw upon nature to write haiku. How about you?" Ayame threw her head back, and gazed at the azure sky in all it's purity. There wasn't any white wisp in sight. Keiji also looked up into the sky, just to see what she was so intent upon. "I would like to get to know everyone here a little better, and, like you said, draw from nature to get inspiration for the Culture Festival." Ayame turned to look at Keiji, who was staring at the sky still. "Yes, it's beautiful, isn't it?" "Oh! Definetly. I'll try to write a haiku about it later." Keiji brought his head back down, and looked at Ayame. "Maybe you could try now, Keiji? I'd love to hear one from you." She spoke softly, with an innocent tone, rather undemanding, but Keiji felt the need to think of one on the spot. "Hm... how about... The emerald sea And the azure sky are now Brother and Sister." Keiji thought it was rather terrible, but it expressed exactly what he thought of the unified colors. You could barely tell where one began, and the other ended. "I think it's good. I know you think it isn't." Somehow, she could pick up on his thoughts, or read his body language. Quicksilver told him girls had ESP. Keiji thought he was joking. He let out a smile at the inside joke, and sighed. "Yes. I don't really like it, that much, but if you do, I'm sure it's not a bad haiku." Make a friggin move, idiot. She may like you. My god, Quick, don't screw this thing up. I like her, but she doesn't want my paws on her. Quick didn't seem to care, as he willed Keiji's hand to land on top of hers. Keiji's external appearance was unreadable, on top of the fact that he was having an internal war with his alter-ego. Ayame didn't like it either. "Oh! Excuse me. I wasn't thinking..." he trailed off, completely disgusted with himself, that he did this to a girl he liked. He retracted his hand, and put it back on the wood of the bench. Keiji decided to let it go, instead of getting angry. Ayame blushed, looked at her lap, and remained quiet. Please don't be mad at me.... please don't be mad at me... Mr. Emotional, she likes you. She's not mad, now shut up. "It's okay. You don't really need to apologize profusely." Ayame smiled, and looked back at Keiji, who was obviously relieved that she wasn't angry or irritated with him.

Trinity

Yeah, I don't like how you used both images, and how you tried to fade each one together. The font doesn't work... It seems almost forced. You don't need to have "Trinity Definetly" on there. It takes up space, and doesn't do much for you. Maybe changing fonts altogether would be a better move. And change the fade. It looks like the Trinity on the right side looks like she's wearing a helmet or something at first glance.
12. I've never been to Cirque du Soleil, but I've seen it. Those gigantic yellow and blue tents were in DC a while back... around October, I think. The music was this real funky techno stuff that could be heard from across the street. Funny stuff.
13. "Alright, Mr. Teddy, get on back here." The teddy bear walked back to Keiji. Everyone was off the bus now, standing around and talking to one another. Keiji looked longingly at Risa Harada, wishing he had the nerve to talk to her at all. After all, he was a rather quiet, soft-spoken guy. "Does anyone know where we go from here? Do we go to the lodging, or a ferry ride... or do we just stand here til we rot away?" No one was really paying Keiji any attention. He didn't really feel like speaking up, though. A few acknowledged his attempt at speaking, and shrugged him off, continuing with their silence or conversation. There are so many people like me here. But I don't really personally know too many of them. Oh well. Arg... there you go again, man. Just talk to a girl, stop worrying about it so much. In ten years, you won't even remember what happened here. Perhaps you're right. Maybe if I'm kind to whomever I end up ultimately falling for, she'll like me back. Don't get your hopes up, Keiji. Girls are an usual bunch. I warn you. Interrupted once more, an adult made their way over to the group of chatting teenagers.
14. OOC: I think in bold letters, Quicksilver communicates in italics ----------------- "Jeez. Everone's talking to themselves on this trip." Don't forget that you can talk to youself too. They're not so different from you. Whatever, Quicksilver, I can think in order to communicate with you. I won't look or sound strange. Anyway, who do you think is hot on this trip, you horny devil? Oh, looky here! Mr. Emotional is asking me if I like anyone. Well, I'm not a jerk, so I guess I'll tell you. I like a mysterious, scarlet woman. Sounds good, no? Wow. Thanks for the huge tips. There's no girl even dressed in red. Wierdo. Sometimes you scare me -- that I share a body with you. Now, now Keiji. The smarter you are with me, the more I'll make you sound like a jerk .to your "girlfriend." C'mon. She's not my girl friend, and you're not disgustingly evil, like you love to make yourself out to be. I share your thoughts and emotions, Quick. You're a nice guy. Whatever. I guess you're right, Mr. Emotional. He was roused from his thoughts, as there was a new surge of noise coming from the front of the bus. It seems there was so much he was missing out on, communicating with his counterpart. Shuuya was look directly at Riku, and pets were jabbering about, driving their owners crazy. That reminded Keiji, Mr. Teddy was still in the suitcase. He opened up the luggage, and saw him jump up with pent-up energy. "HEY KEIJI!" "Jeez, Mr. Teddy, chill. We're on the bus now. Look, there's alot of pets on here too. Just like you." "Wow. Can I go up there? And talk with them?" "Sure. Go ahead." Mr. Teddy made his way to the other pets.
15. Well, a wall scroll is a rather-large scroll, made of cloth instead of paper. It usually has images of anime characters or videogames. Something along those lines.
16. ***SORRY MODS!**** It's just that I don't think any of you are on to combat the massive amount of spam hitting the boards today. Sorry again.
:D misa ... no one really knows misa but ... i got a LOT of money & bought mi some anime & manga! the best part is i got a dvd player in mi room & a tv 2! so now mi ma kant tell mi not 2 watch it every 5 minutes! :D ( but mi ma dint give mi any tuna :tasty: this year ... :( )
Good Gravey, Batman! What's he saying? Seriously. Try to use correct spelling, puncutation, syntax, you know -- that jazz. This is a message board. There is no reason to try to abbrieviate what you're saying, as if time is of the essence. In an AIM conversation, I can understand this but this... this you can't do. Truthfully, no one wants to pick through your 'mangled english' to get to what you're saying.
17. I just bought the Peacemaker mangas last night. I read the first one, and about a fourth of the second one. It's a really cool series, although sometimes the events in the manga are hard to follow, especially since the cells are really small. I sure hope things speed up, because there's virtually no combat at all. The manga so far has consisted of plot build-up. Maybe the anime is better. ::shrug::
18. Nope, it's fine. It couldn't ruin my camera, because all a lense is is a whole bunch of glass. (I think). Either way, it still works fine.
19. OOC: Italics show Quicksilver thinking to Keiji. If that makes any sense. ------------------------ Keiji was an early riser. He woke up at 6:20 AM, got dressed in his uniform clothes, and ate breakfast before anyone in his house was stirring. There was something about the morning that he liked. So pure, cool, innocent almost compared to the rest of the day. "What a beautiful day. What do you say, Quick?" Why do you worry about the weather, Keiji? It makes no sense. I guess it's alright. Get a move on though, lover boy. Risa can't occupy your thoughts 24 / 7. "I wish I knew how to write haiku. Then I could give them to her." Keiji sighed, acknowledging how love-struck he was with Ms. Risa Harada. He was too shy to talk to her about his feelings outright. He usually just performed random acts of kindness for the girl he loved. Keiji had packed his clothes and belongings last night. He grabbed his two bags as well as Mr. Teddy, and stepped outside to wait for the bus. It came withing five minutes of his coming outside, which was great timing. He stepped onto the bus, and took a look around. There was Risa, sitting next to her sister. Shuuya was sitting in the back of the bus. He had a better chance of talking to Shuuya than Risa, so he walked onto the back of the bus, and sat down across from Shuuya. Next, he attempted to make conversation with him. "Hey, Shuuya, how're you doing?" "Meh, I'm living. Can't complain right?" "Yep. You looking forward to this trip?" "I'm not so sure yet. We'll have to see how things pan out. Hey, Keiji, do you like a girl on this trip? "Yeah. Don't tell anyone, but I like Risa. How about you?" "That's funny. I like Riku. We like the Harada's, ironic, eh? Oh, don't tell anyone I told you either, kay?" "Deal."
20. Minimal photomanipulation. I had my brother shine his laser-pointer in the lens of my camera. The only photomanipulation that took place was me changing the blending mode to color burn or something like that.
21. I couldn't come up with a title for this, so It's just the first few words of the haiku. Comments are appreciated. Meh. I used the word 'word' too close to each other. This one I dont like too much. This mouth gnashes words With sharp words they assail me How rude is their tounge!
22. POD - Alive. It shows how I feel about so many people in my life, and generally expressing how fortunate I am. "I feel so alive for the very first time, and I think I can fly." Eminem - I'm a Soldier. Only the chorus applies to me. The rest is talking about how hard his life was in the slums, and how he doesn't take crap from anyone. The chorus goes: "(I'm a soldier...) These shoulders hold up so much They won't budge I'll never fall or fold up. (I'm a soldier...) Even if my collar bones crush or crumble, I will never slip or stumble" This applies to me in extremely dire circumstances. When its me against the world, I'll die trying rather than collapse under the weight of things on my shoulders. I feel like I can fight through physical or mental pain, and accomplish anything, if I try hard enough. I'll never stumble... even if my body starts collapsing. Linkin Park - Nobody's Listening "Never forget the blood, sweat and tears, The uphill struggle over years, The fears and, Trash talkin' and the people it was to. And the people who started it. Just like you." Sometimes struggles can be so easily forgotten, and you become complacent with things. I always try to remember what brought me here, and why things happened. History predicts itself, even on a small scale, such as in someone's life. If you forget where you came from, you'll become arrogant, etc. Everyone has their blood sweat
23. Sunset All life fades to black As the bloody horizon drips out of our sight. As the sun sets, and I look out at the sky, I see blood-red running everywhere. Then the sun is gone, across the horizon, and we are consumed in a seemingly-infinite darkness. But somehow, a new day comes, and our life-giver returns to us, faithfully. Criticism?
24.
As much as I hate to say this, this is not the place to ask. There is a very, very minimal chance that anyone will want to send anything. We're not hateful or anything, but this is a little too much to ask of mostly teenagers. Even if we did want to help, Where would we send funds? How will we now they are not going strait to you? You need to show that this is authentic and provide an address for sending.
Amen to that. heh. But to repeat what Morpheus said, you're probably not getting any money from here. Your chances might raise above the zero mark if you had at least given an address or contact info. Would this be considered soliciting/advertising?
