Retribution

Well, just wanted to offer my two cents on this issue. I read the censored book and didn't know that the book contained the n-word until I listened to it on tape, which was horrendous. :eek: The story is a good one, and should not be banned. In elementary schools, the n-word might need to be explained or censored, however the teachers see fit. The book might not be suitable for the curriculum however, or might need parental consent. Just my .32 cents (hhehehe)

Well, uhh its sort of a grey area. I mean, he had the power to save Jesus and keep his life, he just wanted good PR and an easy area to govern (the kind without riots), so he went with the majority. Pontius Pilate some times is shown as someone who is equally responsible with Jesus' death, as well as many others.

Just my opinion but even though I haven't seen the Passion, I don't think that it should be compared to LoTR. I mean, I suppose that the director wasn't TRYING to change the story, but it may happen in the editing process, etc. About the flogging, Even the though Jesus was severly beaten, he wouldn't have died, because in real life, Pontius Pilate DIDNT want to kill Jesus... Not as much as I hear the Passion portrays. He did have the power to save Him, but he didn't, so he might be held responsible.... Also, If you are a Christian, you'd believe that Jesus is the Son of God, so he would be able to survive particularly brutal beatings... if it was His will, to save us from sin I mean... I hope this touchy topic of faith doesn't get to personal, just remember, I won't accuse or flame ne1 just because of their opinion. It is America (where I live at least) hasta luego ~Altron

Uhh well, I kinda like somewhere in between. It seems more realistic to me that way. I DEFINETLY like closure to a series as well. Uhh you guys might want to spin off of another senario or just make it an after-the-story kinda thing. It sorta makes things easier. I mean, me as a writer, I've come to figure out that taking ideas from multiple sources helps with the pre-production process. I might help. Just someone show me their art, and depending on the quality, I might wanna make a story line. I uhh sorta write stories, but i never followed up on this one story....... PM me if you're interested!

Well, me, I think that Democracy works, but in some instances doesnt. In some instances, however, it can get a little confusing. I cant imagine at all what America would be like if I could have my freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and other things like that.
