Welcome back. ;-)

3.
World of Warcraft: My brothers are super into this game, and I can see how I might like it if I ever got around to playing it, but I'm bullheadedly opposed to playing it on principle. (Too many arguments over the computer as a result of this game. That, and it ate my brothers' souls.)
Understandable, as over the course of five years and I had my soul eaten. I'd have to thank my buddy for my addiction to MMORPGs as he introduced me to Everquest back in '99. Since then I've played Dark Age of Camelot, City of Heros/Villains, Guild Wars, EVE Online and ultimately WoW. WoW probably had the strongest hold on me as I was a fan of the RTS games it was based on (and scintillating enviroment that enthralls you). I try to keep myself busy with other things so I don't fall off the wagon and go back for Cataclysm.
4. You're driving or walking and see a billboard/sign/poster with a candidate and the slogan "Invest in the Future." What would you think regarding this at first. "Oh, this guy is going to cost me money " "Hmmm...what does he mean by that? " or "He sounds pretty solid, I'll consider voting for him. " Thanks for the input!

7. It took my brother and I a good couple of days to beat Reach on Legendary difficulty. I have really enjoyed the firefight mode. If you want to try something hard, turn gruntacolypse into elite/hunteracolypse...10 sets.
8. This pic's a bit old(about a month-ish). If I didn't look horrid right now from the insane amount of alcohol and tears of jets fans last night, I would take one right now haha. Edit: I'm the one in the brown leather jacket.

Hello Big O OST, time to cut you into my mp3 list while playing Reach

10. 39 days until Pokemon Black/White is released. So SoulSilver Halo: Reach will have to tide me over until then. Speaking of pokemon...my brother needs to hurry up and catch Kyogre so he can trade it to me so I can catch Rayquaza :D Gruntocalypse on Halo Reach is fun...especially if you make it so you don't have shields and bonus rounds are 3 sets of hunter kill teams :D

Wow, you haven't been around for ages. Welcome back. :P

12. Hmmm...would Treize Kushrenada be considered a villain? I think of him of as being more along the lines of an anti-hero/antagonist versus villain.
13. In the last couple weeks I've been home, I first bought Dynasty Warriors: Gundam. Not a bad buy at all from the used rack at GameStop. My brother and I spent hours seeing who could take out the most mobile suits during whichever mission we were on(with multiple paths to take, we really didn't have to fight for kills until the end). The next buy? Halo: Reach. I checked out the commerical on the website the day before heading to best buy. Love at first sight. It was on sale or something at the store. My brother and I didn't sleep (at all) until we beat the game on legendary. Some of the missions were pretty tasking, especially when you start to crash from caffeine overload. Game Freak called and said I needed to buy the latest installment in the Pokemon series. So I had to get SoulSilver. Wheeeee...
14. I was backpacking on 3 different continents, so being on the internet really wasn't an option (especially in africa...but at least i couldn't download ebola). Oldbies are what's up.
15. It's been quite some time since I was last on the boards. Took a good 10 minutes of brainstorming to figure out what my password was. I suppose credit should go to Shy for that, as we were conversing when I had the epiphany. Anyway, I missed everyone that I knew and a hello to everyone that joined up since my absence. <3
16. To me, military service is a necessity for one to understand the civil liberties many take for granted. By becoming part of the military, not only do you fight for the rights civilians hold dear, but you feel to bring these rights to others. A year before I graduated High School, I joined the Marine Corps Delayed Entry Program and loved every second of it. Couldn't wait until July for me to ship out. Spent the week before going to MCRD Parris Island in Cambridge, MA while my gf at the time was at Harvard. Recruit training was great. There's pretty much nothing that sounds better than winning final drill at the end of your tenure. The way the boots hit the pavement. The way that the rifles hit your arm, echoing in a distance as you show everyone else you're the best of the best. I have countless friends that joined with me in my graduating class and most enjoy their involvment in the situations of today. Friends in Afganistan and promoting stability and liberty, especially in the hot south. Friends in Iraq that have seen a very different shift from the frequent attacks years ago and seeing people on the streets and playing soccer with them in the street. I may have had qualms with our entrance ot Iraq, but I feel as though the battles in both Afghanistan and Iraq are just. Things cannot be corrected overnight. Hopefully NATO will see through Russia's facade and bring Ukraine and Georgia into their circle. To me, it's about honor and duty. Now that my knee is rehabilitated, I can't wait to return to military service. Semper Fi!

20. I'm a registered Republican and have been even before I signed up for the military back in ancient times. I was shooting for Mitt Romney at the start of the Republican race. Was never really a Ron Paul fan or a Huckabee-hugger (aside from Chuck Norris!). But Mitt did the right thing by withdrawing early, and allowing McCain to focus nationally quite some time ago, unliked the still-fighting Democrats. Out of the two Democratic candidates, I would throw my chips in with Obama. I have a deep disgust for Clinton. Her husband wasn't too shabby as the Commander-in-Chief, though I disagreed majorly on a few of his works. My friend said, out of the two contenders, Obama was the lesser of two evils. I like Obama, great orator and all. I'm starting to believe in what he says. Gonna be a hard choice between him and McCain for me at this point, still a long road until November.
21. As a New Yorker...I didn't vote for him. Now I'm laughing at those who did. Not the epitome of honesty and truth they thought he was. Maybe we'll luck out and Part-time Senator/Full-time campaigner Hillary will be found out to be Client 10.
