Israel and Palestine is a serious topic. Though I do find that some people in the middle eastern region say that 'expansionist Israel' has 'taken over' the Middle East. If someone can explain that idea to me, I'd appreciate it. I can't see how the statement has bearing considering Arab/Muslim nations surrounding Israel occupy 640 times the landmass as Israel does. I find it stupid as well that Palestinians or others from the regions think that blowing themselves up in Israel and killing dozens of women and children is an example of martyrdom. Perhaps if these frivilous attacks did not occur, Israel wouldn't take military action upon its neighbors. The more that I think about it and research, I begin to feel for the Israelis. In 1967, neighboring Arab/Muslim nations mobilized their armies along the seemingly indefensible border that the Jews had set up when they fought for their independence some 20 years prior to. Pre-emptively the Israelis crippled Egypt's air force. Had the Israelis not won this defensive war, I'm fairly certain the invaders would've obliterated the people in some Holocaust-like fashion. Today, anti-Israeli feelings run high throughout the area. I wish that Arab/Muslim nations would actually make an effort to perpetuate peace, instead of sending their men, women and children into Israel to kill innocent people, or turning a blind eye to such actions. It's not holy, if that's how they see it. More like a barbaric act...I say let the Israelis keep it. They've shed enough blood defending their land, and not only that, it's theirs...

idiotic things that people say about relationships
Endymion replied to foreverinfinity's topic in General Discussion
What's the topic of this thread again? Oh, right, idiotic things that people say about relationships. Sometimes its not things people say that are idiotic, but the things they don't. Say for instance...I had a relationship that lasted about 2 years. In the last two months or so, my loyally devoted girlfriend was seeing another person. It was common knowledge to everyone, well with the exception of me. Even friends I've known longer than her, didn't let me on the bandwagon about the whole charade. I knew my one buddy for about 7 years, we had classes together, double-dated, and were in the same boy scout troop. But his loyalties were more to her than me, as if saying what she was doing was right. I have no clue. She didn't even have the courage to tell me she was cheating. She fed me the classic lines of lieing mumbo jumbo about how she's only been in a couple serious relationships instead of having many fun-type ones, the list of reasons she gave me went on and on. I didn't find out about this other guy until her graduation when I stopped by with her birthday and graduation gifts. When I was some distance away in the sea of people, I see her and the other guy wrapped around eachother like a twizzler. At that point I was frozen in place. It was kind of silly for me to act that way though, as it felt as if I were Julius Caesar and she Brutus. Theatrically at that point a spotlight would've hit me and I could've said 'et tu megan' and died. Anyway...prior to that I despised liers, and afterward I REALLY despised them. The girl that didn't want serious relationships has been with the guy she's cheated on me with have been together almost a year now...news courtesy of her best friend that seems to like to torture me. I suppose I'm still childish because it's hard for me to trust people, especially females, aside from my close contingent of friends... -
Welcome everyone, I hope you find this idea of an RPG suitable and hope you would like to join up. ========================================= There was no famine. There was no disease. There was no war. Peace was all that existed within the galaxy and has existed for the last 200 years. The pinnacle of political achievement it was so called, as the great planets put down their arms and shook hands instead. With this new unification grew a new, unifed military. Men and women that were once enemies stood side by side working together for the greater good of the Confederation. As the two centuries of peaced slowly went by, the need for the unified military slowly went away as well. The size of the once mighty cooperative force slowly shrank, as applications to military acadamies and so forth became almost a rarity. Even though there was peace, many felt within the governing senate that the military should be kept at its original strength, but time slowly staved the notion, and military numbers continued to fall. Eventually as the Confederacy turned 200 years old, the military that consisted of over 100,000 ships consisted of a mere 15,000. There was one bright future for the military, a young captain by the name of Endymion. He'd graduated from the military university at an unprecedented age 19, and became a captain 2 years later. Now at 22, he's in command of the fleets most advanced ship, a mix between battleship and scout cruiser, the only Interceptor-Class ship produced, before ship production was halted. The rest of the fleet is made up of older models of various class ships. Recently odd signals have been received on the outskirts of the eastern edge of the galaxy. Endymion's ship, the Twilight, and her crew must join with the small patrol fleet in the vicinity of the signals and investigate. ========================================= PC's will play members of the Twilight's crew. Each specialization works in a different part of the ship, but some non-control peronnel work on the bridge. Inter-specialization interactions do occur, mostly on recreation decks, the cafeteria deck, and crew quarters. Name: (Nothing extremely wierd and no #'s :) ) Age: (Between 18-30) Gender: (Male or Female) Rank: (Private, Corporal Sargeant, Petty Officer, Warrant Officer, Ensign, 2nd Lieutenant, or 1st Lieutenant)(Ranked from lowest to highest) Specialization: (Security, Medical, Science, Engineering, Command)(Possible combinations as well, run ideas by me first) Personality: (Should be somewhat detailed to get a better aspect of the character) Appearance: (Pic or detailed description) Bio: (Should be somewhat descriptive, basically state how your character joined the military and how they've enjoyed/disliked it. A brief history of their service, if they've served long that is for older characters. Characters can be fresh out of the junior military acadamy~ages 18-20~ vs. the regular military acadamy ~21-23~, or transferred from a planetside base or another vessel. + other interesting tidbits ;) ) ========================================= Name: Endymion Age: 22 Gender: Male Rank: Captain Specialization: Command Personality: A good-hearted and talented leader, often balk his pro-military stances during the current era of Peace. He cares about every member of his crew and considers them friends. He is fiercely loyal, but can seem arrogant and stubborn sometimes. Appearance: See Attachment. Bio: Born on Allerja, one of the core worlds, young Endymion was raised by his widowed mother. His father was tragically killed in a military mishap. His mother helped his military ambitions grow as many portrayed his father as a hero in a peaceful time. Not wanting to diminish his name, Endymion focused much of his energy into strategy, politics, command techniques, systems works, and other aspects of military order. He was brought up well, his mother actually a member of Allerja's royal family, and was given every opportunity to succeed, which he took. Upon enrollment in the Junior Military Academy, Endymion was a golden student, aceing nearly every assignment. He looked for more of a challenge entering the Military Academy and doubled his workload, enabling him to be the youngest graduate in history. He served on the flagship of the Confederation's spaceforces for two years before achieving the rank of captain. A year after gaining his new rank, the young Captain was given a command of his own. The Twilight became his new home (thanks to his grandfather pulling some strings, unbeknownst to the grandson). Sitting on the bridge gives him an un-rivaled exhilaration as he's given his first assignment. He wants his crew to consider him a friend, but also respect him as a commander on duty. He can joke around sometimes, but his father's arrogance can creep up sometimes as his mom has pointed out in the past.

Endymion sat in his chambers for quite some time before standing up. Though his anger began to grow, his expression wouldn't show it. Someone then entered. Endymion looked at him and grinned. "It is about time one of you showed up..." He chided. Ty tried bowing to appease his attitude, but it was to no avail. "Since you were the first one here, you will be rewarded." Endymion changed the tone of his voice. "Let me think..." As he pretended to think, Ty's scared and alert attitude slipped into one of greed and he awaited his reward. Endymion snapped his fingers. "I've got the perfect prize for you...dear friend." Ty's eyes opened wide. "You will recieve........the honor of being an example for the rest of them...How does that sound?" Ty stood there dumbfounded for a moment before freezing in place, Endymion's words playing themselves over and over in his head. The master demon walked silently towards the shocked underling. In an effort to prevent the inevitable, Ty fist at Endymion. The futile attack just bumped into thudded against the chest. Endymion gently placed his hand on Ty's shoulder. "That was a real humorous gesture....but enough games. Things will be changing soon, your death will aid the coming of Deathe, you should feel honored to be able to drive your brethren into a better attitude and better obedience." The room grew extremely dark. Ty couldn't see despite his ultravision. His ears twitched at the small, whispering whip noises he could hear. Dropping to his knees, he began begging and pleading for his life. Ty could no longer see Endymion, but could hear his voice. "Now, now, that is no way for a demon to meet thier end..." The sounds grew closer and closer with every breath that passed through his lungs. I sharp pain entered his chest, followed by others...in his legs, arms, torso....The darkness was living, moving, being manipulated by Endymion. The living tendrils of shadow began piercing through Ty viciously. Blood spewed out of his mouth, muffling his scream, as the torrent of torture tore through his body. Some tiny tendrils grew under his skin, and forcefully removed it from the flesh. The shadows began to dim, and light began to return to the room. Endymion stood before an immense pool of blood. Residing in it lay the lifeless remains of Ty, mangled, nearly inrecognizable. "You'll be a good example to serve your purpose Ty, this is probably the only job you'll be good at." Endymion laughed as he left the chamber. "Now....as for the others..." The sky was black and a chilling wind blew through the forest. Voices could be heard, a disagreement somewhat, some sort of conversation. An erie blanket of darkness drew closer to them. Everything suddenly grew dead silent. Unbeknownst to the lounging group, something stepped forth from the surrounding shadows,. It Endymion, a small grin on his face. He dropped the mangled corpse of Ty inbetween the gathering. The body hit the ground with a dull, but loud thud, enough to get the others attention. "Let this one be an example to you....I do not care for how you've all been acting on your own" His voice grew more serious "..I am sure you know of the angels presence here in Vain. Proper precautions on your actions should be kept in tact as to not bite off more than you can chew." Endymion stood there and looked at Imric, Dark, and Niji. "You may see their coming as a danger, but in reality, we can use their presence as an advantage...the coming of Deathe will be more than a dream soon....Darkness shall fall across Vain, and snuff its light out forever..."

"You can come forth Malakai..." Endymion called out calmly. From the shadows the loyal minion stepped forward. "You don't have to be so discreet you know...I would like to commend you on your job." As Malakai began to speak, Endymion cut him off. "You needn't speak anything of the incident to me, I could feel and sense your thoughts as your mission progressed. My seeing sphere is quite the toy. You are dismissed for now. Again, great job." Malakai began to leave and Endymion smiled. "Don't worry, you will get your chance at them again." Malakai left his presence calmer, and headed off for some needed rest. The time is coming, he though, the beginning of a new age. A destiny of darkness, devoid of the human waste of Vain... He even broadened his interests elsewhere. The angels seem to be quite formidible, but not as strong as they think they are. The final piece for the ceremony is almost within my grasp. I can almost taste the birth of Deathe.....He turned his thoughts to some of the 'lesser' demons. They seem to be acting upon their own accord...and may delay progress in the unification of Grayce and Pain. Their attitudes are appalling and they are very careless. I must warn them to tread carefully...or they will surely be punished. Endymion smirked. I haven't had to punish someone for being incompetent in awhile. Maybe fun if they did something wrong....but regardless....they must not get in the way of Deathe's coming. I'm sure they've felt the presence of the angels....I will work the lessers into my plans accordingly if they are needed.... Endymion waved his hand a small and frail demon appeared almost instantly. "Runner....I have a job for you. Summon me the lessers Imric...Niji....Drakel...and Ty..... Their presence is required immediately. And tell them it is not in their interests to keep me waiting..." The frail creature bowed and curled into a ball, from the ball formed four reptilian birds, each taking off into the air, relaying the wishes of Endymion. "I may just have to persuade them that incompetence is not easy to forgive." Endymion chuckled. A small lizard scurried across the floor in front of him. He teased it with a small shadow for awhile, causing the critter to run around in circles. "I tire of you now...little lizard..." He squeezed his fist and the shadow teasing the animal shot like an arrow, impaling it. Endymion smiled as the critter twitched as its nerves finally died and blood pooled slightly on the floor.

He stood still momentarily as he walked through the corriders. Endymion felt a foreign power enter somewhere in Vain. The feeling intrigued him. He found himself in the throne room, standing before a dark, ebon orb atop an ancient enscripted pedastal. His hand raised and placed it on the orb, closing his eyes solemnly. The candles in the room extinguished themselves impetuously. Endymion stood in the dark, tasting its serene embrace until a dim aura began to eminate from the orb beneath his hand. The cool glow faintly lit up his face as well as itself. Energies soon began to make their presences known within the orb, like a swirling storm of clouds and lightening dancing feverishly in some unknown gesture. Deep within his own consciousness a shadowed picture became clearer with every passing moment. Even the storm began to bear what he witnessed in his mind. "Interesting....this is what I'd felt. This is very good...I could not have hoped for something better." Endymion whispered to himself. "Very good indeed..." He stepped back from the orb and the room flickered into its former setting, the candles burning once again. "Malakai...." Endymion called out callously. Voices eminated from the corridor until a darkened figure stepped into Endymion's presence and bowed. "You called.....my lord..." it replied. He nodded at the creature. It bore a humanoid resemblence that'd been replaced by an infinite blackness. Where eyes should've been, two small flickering points of flame made their presence. Black shrouds covered all but the face, where a hood would not cover. A wraith you could say...Malakai was deathly loyal to Endymion. "I have a job for you to do...it seems that a presence has decided to make itself known in Vain. I would like you to scout it out...test its strength..." The creature bowed in acknowledgement. Endymion recalled the vision of a small band of angels. Perfect...he thought, they will serve their purpose. "The presence appears to be a band of blessed warriors of sorts...so do be careful...they are in the vicinity of Siango. Go now..." With the order...the creature disappeared like the wind. Endymion stood in the room...smiling to himself.

Endymion stood before the dimly glowing aura eminating from the orb of light surrounding Grayce. He waved his hand and the lesser demons waiting on him bowed and walked away, leaving him alone with the girl. Aside from the aura, there were no other light sources in the room and it was nearly pitch black. He walked around her in circles, pondering the entire time until he stopped. He looked at the girl and smiled. "You know Grayce....you were only meant to exist as a key for the birth of Deathe. And I am here to help you in the fulfillment of your journey." He smiled slightly. "Everything is almost in order for the ceremony...just you wait..." Endymion walked out of the chamber. Entering into a chamber that was lightened, he stood before an altar with a tattered scroll. He studied it with his eyes meticulously. "Darzerb..." He called. A slightly hunched over demon entered the chamber. "Yesss...m'lord?" it answered. "I want the artifact cleaned....and properly kept until we're ready for her ceremony." Endymion told the underling. It nodded and left the area. As it walked out, a demon in the vicinity balked at the idea of cleanliness. "Endymion...does he want the precious ceremony of his to be all clean just like some human?" He laughed. He immediately froze however...from the corner of his eye he could see Endymion glaring at him before blood clouded his vision. Shadows had impaled his body in nearly every direction. Other demons whispered to eachother and carried on with their business. Some time went by, and Endymion found himself in the company of Pity. Her accomadations were some of the largest in the citadel, but Endymion had no quarrel with that. As he entered the room, the young girl came up to him and looked into his eyes. He patted her head. "Nothing to worry about, everything is almost in order. You will help fulfill your desire to constitute her into being. The dawn of a new and eternal age is at hand my dear...." He smiled at her, "You need not be sleepless for much longer...we'll have a destiny...of darkness..."

The skyline began to darken as day began to be embraced by night. Soon, somewhere, horror stories mothers told their children before they went to bed would in fact become reality. Vain isn't wonderful during the day....night can be a nightmare, literally. Farmers in a local community in Mantua started packing up their equipment in their carts to head home as dusk came into being. They knew they had to beat night fall, but even dusk was dangerous. As they traveled home the forest grew eerily dark, and an ill-scented fog began to constitute itself out of nowhere. Horses became edgy and snarled erratically. They began to struggle so much that the farmers lost the reigns and the horses darted down the path, out of the obstructed view of their masters. As the farmers tried to continue, and make due without their laboring workhorses, a chilling collection of shrieks and screams came from where the horses had taken off to. The farmers stopped dead in their tracks, paralyzed from fear. An uncanny wind blew through the band of farmers, and only increased their fear a hundred fold. The trees around them began to move slowly, but began to increase in erraticness. All but two of their lanterns blew out, leaving them in near dark. The leaves, bushes, shrubs, and saplings sounds only deafened them to the oncoming horror. Glowing eyes...many of them....coming.... A shadowy figure watched from a nearby cliff, gazing upon the fraying rope that was the farmers' time left. Bursting forth from the trees in an inhuman speed, the farmers could only scream horrifically as they were being torn apart. The figure up above only smirked serenely at the sight. When the groans and screams finally subsided, the path was littered with broken wagons, and the tortured, mangled, and maimed pieces and parts of what once were men. The trodden path of dirt, stone, and grass, was almost like a river of blood. Even the surrounding trees were doused in the death.... The glowing eyes appeared all around the spectator...He turned to the shadows, looking in their direction. "Very favorable....you even managed to get me to smirk. I hope you enjoyed playing with the human trifles....A new age will dawn soon...and drown light whereever it may be...Let us go now, and return to the citadel." The spectator commanded... The creatures lurking in the shadows bowed in acknowledgement, and seemingly vanished, only saying, "Yes Lord Endymion..." in almost a coarse whisper. The apparent leader marched off and began to evanesce in the darkness.

My dad used to be in the USMC(he's still in the military just a different branch now) but anyway, on one of the bases we were staying on, there were a ton of houses on the street that looked all similar. Woo hoo for base housing. lol. I was maybe 4 or 5 and i'm sitting on my babysitter's stoop, and i'm just looking around and look at my knee...looking back at me is a moth, a big grey moth whose big black eyes made it seem like there were no eyes. I just remember my body freezing, i could feel my scream in my throat, but i was so petrified. A split second later I let out the loudest scream ever and jumped straight off the stoop and ran around and rolled around screaming 'OMG GET IT OFF OF ME GET IT OFF!!!' I was scared so much i was crying...
It sounds like a very interested anime. I have not had the opportunity to watch Onegai Teacher so I will most likey have to watch it first to see Onegai Twins. Or could I possibly watch Onegai Twins begore Onegai Teacher?[/size']
I think it would probably be best to watch Onegai Teacher before you move on to Onegai Twins as some of the characters from the first series you'll be able to get a better grasp on, and make the story more humurous.

Anime Dating Anime Characters: Would You?
Endymion replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in Otaku Central
Fujio Himejima from I My Me! Strawberry Eggs would be one of my top picks. Underneath her seemingly hard exterior(i.e. being the protector of her girlfriends, beating up boys) she is actually a soft and sweet girl that would like love in her life. Deedlit from Record of Lodoss War is another top pick of mine. She's the magical elf companion of Parn as he embarks to save Lodoss. She's strong, brilliant, and beautiful...the perfect companion. She also looks quite exquisite in a ballroom dress and her long ears are the cutest! Lafiel from Crest/Banner of the Stars is the strong, yet elegant commander of a starship for the humankind empire Abh. She is also extremely loyal. Most of the time she has a serious look and doesn't show any emotion at all, though she certainly does have feelings. She's also a viscountess. She's got long ears too! Aoyama Motoko from Love Hina would be another great candidate for a girlfriend. Tough, beautiful and deadly yet gentle on the inside, she may just well attack you for playing with her emotions. Mizuho Kazami from Onegai Teacher is certainly one of my top picks. Who wouldn't like her as a girlfriend? A mature, kind hearted woman who is extremely beautiful, intelligent, and loves pocky. Onodara Karen from Onegai Twins is certainly a good choice too. She's beautiful, innocent, but somewhat withdrawn. A shock to her system will cause her to say "Nyuuu" just before fainting. She also has the cutest blue eyes. Ayeka Jurai from Tenchi Muyo/Universe is last on my top list, but certainly not least. She's the crown princess of Jurai and is usually prim and proper. She may seem self-absorbed or snotty, but she has a good heart and is hard working. Beautiful, intelligent, and nice to have around...she'd be a good girlfriend. In the running to be on my list: Kagome, Sango(Inuyasha), Naru Narusegawa, Shinobu(Love Hina), Tomoko Saeki(DNA^2), Belldandy(Oh! My Goddess), Melfina(Outlaw Star) -
Onegai(Please) Twins is an installment following some time after the events of Onegai(Please) Teacher. The new series stars a new main character by the name of Kamishiro Maiku. Looking into his past he moves to the memorable town from the last series. A few of the old characters make their presence known as well, such as Mizuho Kazami, and Ichigo Morino. Two girls of opposite personalities come to town with a similar objective as Maiku, Miyafuji Miina and Onodera Karen. Each carries a picture of two small children playing together in the area. Maiku has the picture as well. The story line is excellent as the girls may be related to Maiku, but they may not so expect romantic drama between the three. I myself have to see the final 3 episodes, but the series keeps me on the edge of my seat. Onegai Twins looks to have an impressive conclusion

I believe(opposite opinion of most of my friends) that Big O is a great series that is underrated by most people. Season I was great, but I believe Season II was better than its predecessor. Atop the great art and setting of the story, the music is very well suited for much of the series. The opening seems sort of a Flash Gordon spoof, but hey, I think it's great. *types while playing it* The mecha designs are well done, and I always get a joy when Roger summons Big O. He totally rocks. I still, as of now, have to get both seasons on dvd. Somewhat strapped for cash at the moment with car insurance, college, prom savings, and summer savings. I put a little aside each week in my bank/hidden shoebox specifically for anime. Next up on my list is, thankfully, The Big O.

Anime Good or Evil, which do you like better?
Endymion replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in Otaku Central
I think I like the bad guys better in most cases. For example, Treize from Gundam Wing was excellently portrayed. He wasn't truly evil, but I believe him to be to be the best antagonist in any anime. My next favorite would have to be Sesshoumaru, even though he is evil, he still has honor. Had the chance to kill Inuyasha(when he'd transformed without his Tetusaiga) but didn't because Inuyasha didn't know who he himself was. -
Anime Which ANIME character would make you weak in the knees?
Endymion replied to Sweet Pie's topic in Otaku Central
Which anime character would make me weak at the knees? That is a tough question. There are quite a few in my book actually. First off there is Mizuho Kazami from Please Teacher. She is very kind, and sweet and just makes you smile for just being there. Then there is also Deedlit the high elf from The Record of Lodoss War She is simply breathtaking and a very good companion-type. Plus, her elven ears are cute.Another character that is really quite exquisite is Lafiel, (Crest/Banner of the Stars) She's just wonderful! Those are my top 3, some honorable mentions would be, Angel (The Big O) Kagome (Inuyasha) Belldandy (Oh! My Goddess) and finally, Motoko and Naru (Love Hina) -
Well just like many other series, you can't judge it by the first episode. MSAA is actually alot better in the second episode as I said in my previous comment on the series. I'm not saying every series has a bad first episode, some are quite good, I am saying though is always give a series a little slack, or you'll be locking yourself in a closet and not getting enjoyment out of life. Or in other words, don't judge a book by its cover, lol.

I think Now and Then, Here and There is really a great anime. My dad bought the complete series on dvd a while back(prior to summer 03 I believe) and we would watch and episode or two everynight after he got home from work. The character designs are really good as well as the plot. The overall art was great as well. It has been some time since I've finished the series, so I may re-enjoy it all again sometime soon. It constantly kept me on my seat and wanting more as I watched ever episode then went onto the next, I 'needed' to know what would become of Shu, Lala-ru and the others...The main antagonist was truly insane. Poor kitty lol. This morning(some 12 hours ago), I was going to start a NTHT thread lol, guess I got beat to the idea

Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi is quite a hillarious series. My father just got home from his deployment last night and brought home a few #1 dvds of various anime I have not yet seen, Abenobashi, being one of them. The series is produced by Gainax, the same people that brought you Evangelion and FLCL. The story revolves around a pair of 12 year old kids living in Osaka. After an accident involving their town's spiritual 'points' the duo is sent through various variations of their reality. The series also takes elements from other anime and genre to multiply its humor. My dad and I couldn't stop laughing. The first episode was somewhat slow, but after every episode it got even better(and funnier). I would highly reccommend the series to others, fans of anime and/or comedy, or even if you like to roll on the floor laughing, or laugh until you cry. And if you've seen the show, what's your opinion?

Not to sound distastful of the series, though I found the plot seemingly alright, I wasn't a fan too much of the character designs. Telling the characters apart even is hard to do if you don't breathe the series in 24/7. 009's similarities make me think of Jyro from Kikaider, and its 'retro' designs. Don't get me wrong, this isn't a bad series, it just doesn't have that....'flare'

Please Teacher is from the creator of Ah! My Goddess, another great anime. Unlike Ah! My Goddess, this story involves aliens and not deity or two. It's about a high school student, Kei Kusanagi, whose rare medical condition that stunted his growth for three years as he was in a coma for that time. In order to try to have a 'normal' life he works in school as he should have, acting as a 15 year old. His life changes when he rests near his town's lake one evening and comes across a strange light. He witnesses the landing of a beautiful alien planetary observer, Mizuho Kazami. As the sole person knowing her secret, the two get married in order to keep it that way. As the series progresses, that secret begins to turn their worlds upside down. Everything about the anime was great! Excellent animation, music, plot, and character development. I wish it would've extended beyond its 13 episodes. If given the choice between which anime is it closer to(FLCL or Love Hina, as asked by fool Cool This) I would have to go with Love Hina somewhat.

Ceres is quite good. It suprised me when I actually sat down and read it. My sister was cleaning out her room. Noticing the first volume sitting in the 'garbage' box, I decided to save the work. She saw me and told me it wasn't very good. But I instantly enjoyed it by the time I closed it. I only bought the next couple volumes and have started buying the anime on dvd. Great in my eyes:D

I think all I have left is the 6th dvd to collect. I think the series is pretty good, and that is is really funny to watch. Especially the episode when Louie morphs into a woman, old man, baby, frog, and squid. That was great! The competition between Melissa and the other priestess adds a good flare to the experience. Only downfall is when Louie does something stupid (which happens alot early on) she constantly says, "This is against my will"
