1. It's just bored animators having some fun, the way bored programmers insert inside jokes in the end credits or dialogue in games.
 2. I wonder why Akane never notices that Ryoga and P-chan wear an article that's the same: Ryoga's headband is tied around P-Chan's neck, and that Ryoga disappears whenever P-Chan's around.
 3. It's theologian, not theologist. There's no such word. And OutlawDragon, many Christian denominations don't even begin to make ends nor tails of LDS theology. It's not orthodox Christian theology, that's for sure. But really, this is neither the forum for such discussions. It is a contentious issue. I would like to delve into it, but in the right forum, not here. And I am quite tired of such discussions, having been in religious boards for sometime. The discussions there are so heated that I just have to beg off. You'll end up having a heart attack just dealing with the people there.
 4.
Originally posted by liamc2 hmm, its weird, I was in our (catholic) schools library has so much rot about us under the religions. We were, in one book, under 'practising pagan religions'
Blame that on some Protestant denominations who do not know any better--who are in perpetual denial of their history. It is quite amusing when these denominations try to deal with Church history--most often, they are in some form of denial. Objective historians, though, will all agree that all Protestant denominations came from the Catholic Church. Atheists, remarkably, with their sharp wits, actually call Protestants 'rebel Catholics'.
 5. Some Protestant denominations, notably Evangelical ones, do not consider Mormons as Christians. I won't elaborate on the reason why, though.
 6. Strange, I've only seen it once, even though it's in my anime video collection. I guess I really need to see it again, to fully appreciate this anime.

 8.
Originally posted by Squashed Snail Well even though I'm Catholic, I'm with OutlawDragon on this one.... I don't know what the Trinity is. I don't think I've heard of it either.....
Strange that you're Catholic and have not heard about the Trinity. Most Catholics should know all about the Trinity, since we pray In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. It is a basic tenet of our Faith.

 10.
Originally posted by OutlawDragon I was wondering how excatly is it possible for Jesus to throw his voice into the sky and say he is his own son, when he was baptized.
That's like saying that it is impossible for Jesus to do that in the first place. If you are really a Christian, then you know that this is not an impossibility. You could, in fact, ask the same thing in another event in the Bible, which is the Transfiguration, which is almost exactly the same as His baptism in that there was a voice proclaiming about Him.
 11.
Originally posted by Heaven's Cloud The Americn Heart Association found that by consuming one glass of red wine a day you can drastically reduce the risk of heart disease, which as we all know, is the leading cause of death in the US The American Medical Association found that occasionally consuming an alcoholic beverage that contains a high carbohydrate ratio such as beer or a malt beverage in combination with tomato in its cooked form, helps reduce the risk of kidney damage and liver failure
There you have it. Thank you, Heaven's Cloud, for that one. It seems, though, that some people are still adamant towards the healthful side of drinking. Not excessive, mind you--one glass is not even considered to be going to excess. Now, since we have the facts there, it is really up to you whether or not you would like to follow it. I see no reason to argue about facts, but then some here have their own preferences, so let it be.
 12.
Originally posted by Anna There ARE facts saying that alcohol does ruin the liver! Okay, this is healthy
What you say is excessive use of alcohol, which we already have noted would really wreak havoc on your body. I am not even talking about excessive use, as I keep repeating. And I do have the article about the benefits of red wine, as well as beer. Yes, they are real scientific research as well.
 13.
Originally posted by Anna Drinking alcohol for the sake of health is an excuse to drink. Yeah sure, a little alcohol won't hurt your heart, but it'll hurt your brain, liver, kidneys, etc. Um, I think I'll run a mile to help my heart before I take some wine, thanks.
It is not an excuse to drink; there are already studies made on this, like I noted. I would suppose those who made the study found it also an excuse for them to drink, then, by your analogy?
 14.
Originally posted by Queen Asuka If doctors thought that we truly needed alchohol intake everyday, I think the law would be bent just a little. It's not HEALTHY to a teen. That's what WATER is for! And I'm just a little curious, how old are you....?
There is no law which states that one bottle of beer or one glass of wine is illegal, even for a minor. That is why doctors recommend it. As for age, I am 32.
 15.
Originally posted by Queen Asuka Milliardo, like I said....even if you start off with just whatever you consider a small amount, it will still become to where that's just not enough for you and you just do more and more until you're completely addicted and can't live without it.
That is a problem of self control, which is more due to peer pressure. Drinking for health reasons is another thing. Knowing what is healthy is the key to this. There are many who drink for their health without going into excess.
 16.
Originally posted by coolkam007 "Alcohol's effects begin even as small amounts are consumed"
The natural question is: how small is small? I am not too much of a fan for vague generalizations. The article is vague on low levels: at low levels, it said, but there is no indication as to how low that would go. Would one sip be considered low? Or one drop? Some people consider two bottles of beer as low. Again, that is a vague generalization.
 17. Mon-Mon...the nearest I can think of is Monster Rancher, though it is not Mon Mon in any way. As for BGC...there are 2 BGC anime that came out: one is the original BGC, that was unfinished, and the other is BGC2040, which is an updated version of the original, plus the fact that it tied up the loose ends the original BGC left. Of course, there's also Bubblegum Crash, but fans do not even consider this one as a legitimate part of Bubblegum Crisis. The A.D. Police Files is much more part of it--or rather, the prequel of BGC.
 18.
Originally posted by Cloud later that week one of the students that was there, was hospitalized..... from too much alcohol in there blood...
That is an example of excessiveness. Alcohol is easily purged from your system by sweating, or some other means. Of course, excessive alcohol intake will naturally land you in the hospital. What I point out is a healthy use of beer and wine, not an abuse of it.
 19.
Originally posted by coolkam007 not for growing bodys.. maybe for adults but growning teenagers and people who arnt fully developed shouldn't drink.. or do drugs for that matter
It's only a bottle a day for beer, or a glass a day for wine. It is not even excessive. What would be harmful is to go all out and drink to oblivion, as the author of this thread said. And yes, since teens are growing, wouldn't an early investment in health actually do it more good than harm?
 20.
Originally posted by Cloud Drinking isn't a bad thing, not at all It's bad, when you don't know when to stop and you drink yourself ito oblivion...
I have to agree on this one, though it depends on what alcoholic beverage you're taking up. Beer is actually a health drink--if not taken into excess. A bottle a day is quite healthy. Ditto for red wine--a glass is good for your heart, studies now show. What is bad is excess. Abusing something that is beneficial will most likely lead to something harmful.
 21. Being cool is part of a teen's life. The problem is, some teens think that they have to do those things to somehow fit in. There is always a way to be cool without doing drugs or being alcoholic. Go for sports, or take up a much safer, and more interesting, hobby. Coolness is a state of mind, not on what substance you are taking up.
 22. Actually, if you have an image manipulation program (PSP, Photoshop), you can make your own avatars, and to your own liking, too. Simply download any pic, and then do whatever you like with it. It also makes it more meaningful for you--you know what you want in an avatar, so you have the means to do it.
 23. If you're a collector, you would really buy it, if only for the sake of completing your colection.
 24. To be fair, I don't like Zero Wing Gundam at all, but the fact that it's made of an armor that's practically indestructible, plus the fact that it has a weapon that is ridiculously powerful, would put any other Gundam unit to shame. The only thing I can think of that matches it for sheer firepower is Gundam Double X.
 25.
Originally posted by Rick Hunter puting on such a bad anime in my opinion, why put the sterotyping/racist show know as Mobile Fighter G-Gundam that show had no plot back then and im sure it will have even less now! Cartoon Network made a big mistake one that will defintely hurt them when the ratings come in!
Funny, I am not much of a G Gundam fan, either. I agree that CN will make a big mistake in showing that one first, though I guess it's better than nothing. Or, have they just thought that a Dragonball-like mecha anime will somehow boost their ratings?
